What must it be like to have a group chat or a discord group? Someome around to talk to all hours about a game or a fandom? Or just in general.

Like, I’d been in one for a month maybe but it was so huge and so established already that it was just whispering into a crowd of voices speaking loudly. I left and 0 people ever noticed.

But like the people who have whole chats of friends and acquaintances, I don’t think they realize how lucky they are. I had one group chat like that in the Skype days but that was nearly a decade ago. I still miss it. I’ve tried since but I’m never really creating enough to get noticed nor am I gregarious enough or funny enough to do anything but lurk.

It’s hard not to be envious when I hear people talking about friend groups in general but the idea that some have irl and whole chats? Color me green.

The full list of recommended group chats that I get is wild but the fact that the Hell group chat is ALWAYS at the top of them is hilarious

Does anyone else just constantly overthink liking messages on Instagram?

Like I will like a lot of the messages on chats as a that was funny or yhasss or I’m sorry here have some emotional support, but then I feel like I’m doing it too much, and that it’s gonna come across as me being too clingy or it’s not the right thing for the conversation and it will make people think I’m weird and it just makes me super self conscious but anywhoooo I should probably see a therapist
