HANNAH NO i know exactly what you mean 😭 i wrote that one nanami piece bc (well obviously i wanted to) but also bc i knew it would get notes :/ and i actually really like it don’t get me wrong i had fun writing it!! but now everyone’s talking about ppl writing that stuff for him and it makes me feel weird being lumped in with that group of ppl. but my nanami stuff never does as well as my other work and idek why bc i’ve been a nanami blog since day 1, my first work was for nanami and i have literally never changed my url ?? & i DO love writing for dazai so so much but i also love writing for nanami so so much. so it’s kind of a bummer when of all the characters i’ve written nanami pieces get the least notes. especially bc ik the jjk fans are alive and well.

hiiii haha. hello. exceptionally awkward introduction bc idrk how to start something like this so let's just jump right in. im taking a break from this account for a bit. i know i said i wanted taob out before halloween and currently im fine sticking with that deadline, but if i decide i need longer away then i will take longer away. every time ive reassured people that id never abandon a fic and updates will always come eventually i never once considered that my writing and ability to feel safe and comfortable on this site would be actively taken from me, so im not even going to apologise. i dont want this either and more importantly i dont fucking deserve it. i dont know what it is in the past year, if ive hit a certain amount of followers or 'popularity' that's made it so the natural ratio of positive to negative interactions must in turn go up, but there's been a serious uptick in weird asks for me. the annoying part is that a very small amount of them are actually objectively mean and hateful, the rest are just weird and invasive from people who seemingly dont realise that's what they're being. ive reached a point where i dont care if the intentions are good. it's not my job as a 20 year old tumblr user of all things to defend the morality of someone who couldnt even bother to come off anon. unfortunately, after blocking only one or two anons, the weird asks have decreased substantially, which says all you need to know about the fascinating and exhilarating lives led by these people, but ive also gone on to turn anon asks off entirely. this is something i actively fought against doing and had to be pushed into by my mutuals (who have been the coolest people on planet earth during this entire thing). turning off anon was a big deal to me even if it sounds silly. i felt betrayed and like id been backed into a corner because it was so vehmently something i DIDNT WANT that to feel like i had to do it anyway for my own mental health??? that sucks. so even though ive 'fixed' the problem, im still kind of reeling and uncomfortable every time i come on tumblr. i hope it's just something i need time to ease because i'll truly be devastated if this becomes 'ruined' for me. tumblr exists as the only place in the world where i am honestly every facet of myself without shame or hesitation; losing that would be insanely harmful to me. and to the people who cant appeal to the actual human behind the post, let me put that in words you can understand: we wouldn't get any more writing 😦😦😦 riots and fires and sirens, i know. so yeah. to anyone who has sent me an anon ask and you're now wondering if you were part of the problem, im firmly of the belief that you'll know if you are. when i say 'weird asks' i dont mean 'you sent me a para about your personal life just to vent or ask for advice' or 'you sent me a really deep emotional compliment about the impact me and/or my writing has had on you' - i love asks like that, so much that i put off taking a break and turning off anon solely for the joy they bring me. im sorry that it might feel like you're being punished too bc of the actions of what in reality is a HANDFUL of weird people, but this is what i feel like i have to do to feel safe and not go insane every time i log in. love you guys, hopefully ill see you soon x

That is, until he discovered you were somewhat of an iPad baby.

You were angry with him? He'd let you play games on his phone for a little while. You were crying your eyes out? He'd subdue you with a random cooking show on TV. Coming home with a new movie for you to watch was becoming a rather effective reward for good behavior.

While you fancied a good true crime documentary before Leon had taken you in, you found yourself more partial to nature documentaries as of late. It was only natural-- you'd hardly been outside longer than a cumulative fifteen minutes over the past few months and truth be told, they were quite relaxing. It was easy to set your anxiety aside and ignore it when you had an hour and a half of baby animals in front of you.

When Leon woke up for work in the morning, he was surprised to notice the soft glow of the TV in the dark room. He rolled over to study your face, finding your eyes red with exhaustion as you stared blankly at the screen.

"You're still awake, princess?" He asked, voice low and clouded with sleep.

You hummed vacantly. "There's duckies," You said flatly, still staring straight ahead, unblinking. It was a bit unnerving.

He followed your gaze to the screen. You were watching some kind of nature show and there were indeed duckies, he couldn't argue with that. While he was concerned about your mental state deep down, he couldn't help but think of how he'd rather you like this than screaming and crying and fighting him. If something as simple as a nature documentary was enough to practically hypnotize you, he'd take it.

"Okay, sweet girl," He gave in. "I love you."

You didn't respond with words, just a flat little hum that was hardly noticeable. Still, it was a start.

While moonvale isn't enough...I have a little theory, we know that Eric Briggs is mentioned by Alan in episode 10, what if he really is part of the police but as some kind of hacker? a programmer? Alan managed to protect himself from Jake twice, so there was someone who helped him protect himself from Jake and what if it was Eric? What if he played the role of Jake in Moonvale? being a new hacker who will help us but a "good hacker" who works in the police.

Of course we don't know if it's the same Eric, but it's interesting to think about.

Drag Race stars rally to support Tia Kofi after hateful abuse

Tia Kofi’s drag sisters have rallied to support the Drag Race UK vs the World winner after she copped vile abuse following the finale.

UK queen Tia won RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World season two over the weekend.

The finale was a real nail-biter, with Tia and Aussie Hannah Conda ending up in the final lip sync together.

The pair earlier beat La Grande Dame and Marina Summers in the series of lip sync eliminations.

But online in the Drag Race fandom, things took a dark turn after the result was announced.

The usual “my pick was robbed” discourse escalated into some very nasty – and racist – abuse against Tia.

Tia herself responded to one post on Twitter X that was so disgusting the account holder was suspended for it.

“Let’s not. For real though, let’s absolutely not do this. At all. Ever again,” Tia wrote.

“Drag is meant to fun, enjoyable and entertaining. Do not behave like this.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race queens call out the hate

Finalist Marina Summers, from the Philippines, also rallied her fans to support Tia.

“I am so proud of each of my sisters for putting out an amazing season for everyone to enjoy,” Marina wrote on X.

After the Drag Race UK vs the World win, Tia said, “It means the world to me to win, it’s the perfect culmination of years of dedicating myself to drag and working hard at myself inside and outside.

“The one thing that watching the show taught me about myself was that even in hard times, I can still put a brave face on it.

i knew i liked girls from a fairly young age, when i was 11. i had a crush on a guy and a girl at the same time and i have a diary entry that says ‘dear diary, today i realised i am bisexual’ (and the word bisexual has gold and silver glitter gel pen swirls around it. i’ve always been extra). that was always okay for me, it wasn’t really something i struggled with.

however, it took me quite a while to come to terms with the fact that i’m a lesbian, not bi. for a long time i forced myself to like guys, because, well, that’s what you’re meant to do, right? i was terrified of having a crush on any of my friends - i went to a small school with 40 kids in my year, so i knew everyone in my year and was friends with all of the girls. so instead, i chose a guy i was good friends with and had a ‘crush’ on him. fast forward to my last night/day at the school. we were on a class trip in italy, it was midnight, we kissed on the beach. after that we were ‘dating’. we met once (nothing happened, not even a kiss) and after that i was too scared to meet up with him again because i was worried he’d want to kiss (or more).

my new school was bigger, 150 kids in my year. suddenly there were all these girls i didn’t know and holy shit yep i’m a lesbian. this was when i was 17.

i’ve always struggled with feeling predatory, or like i’m ‘bad’ for liking girls so much. and like, i fucking love girls!! have you seen them??? but i still feel bad about it sometimes.

but there’s nothing wrong with being gay, or with liking girls. it’s natural, and it’s beautiful. the way women love women, the way girls love girls is so fucking beautiful. it’s soft and sensual and hard and innocent all the same time.

So like I said in my last message, I’ve been a very dark place recently where everything seems like it’s constantly hitting, but after asking for your advice, I took it to heart and really followed if, finding it really did help taking it one tiny step at a time with the simplest things. Life is still throwing every little shit it can find at me, but I’m dealing with it much much better, and I feel like I owe you some thanks to that, so again, I don’t think I can ever tell you how much I appreciate you and enjoy your presence!! I never got to respond to it, but I read your post recently and felt like this was more important to respond first.

Two, I’m so saddened to hear you’re feeling a bit lost about the writing and fandom. I haven’t been on much trying to focus on my self so I don’t know much, but when I do check in every now and then, it does seem… quiet? I hope and think it’ll liven up the closer it comes to June. But regardless of that—

I ADORE YOUR WRITING. Your writing is some of the most thought-provoking, emotional pieces I’ve read, and it truly shows and reflects just how much heart and soul you put into it. I’ll be honest, there’s some times when I can’t read certain fics of yours because I’m not mentally in the right headspace for some, but— to me— it just reflects on how great and impactful your writing is!!! Idk if u remember, and this was when I newly started following you so I was like extra super nervous and shy lol, but the person that requested the jealous Ettore was me. I think I remember sending an anon back and thanking you bc I was impressed and thankful you accepted it, but also I was so shy my hands were shaking the entire time so it was a bit blurry lol. I remember literally fangirling and gushing to my two friends (one who doesn’t even care about Ewan lmao) about how I was so impressed and blown away by it!! Your Ettore series had me hooked (AND IM STILL NOT OVER HOW IT ENDED— I WILL NEVER RECOVER. I will sue you for my emotional damages 🥺)! The Aemond one where after a toxic relationship, the reader tries to escape and he doesn’t let her literally made me want to wallow in the despair. And the Michael Gavey one where I basically wrote an essay of how much I loved it is still one I think about way too much for it to be healthy— plus it’s given me some really crazy dreams 🤭 Those are just my top three! Much to say, I adore your writing. I adore the commitment and dedication you give and feed us. And most importantly, I adore you. Although selfishly I hope you continue, I hope you know no matter what you ever decide to do, I’ll always support and follow. I am a la loyal after all 🤭😂

Itto streams with his friends late into the night. When you text him, sweet and loving and funny as always, what would he do except respond?

On any given TITZ stream, there’s always something going wrong. Thoma’s green screen falls, Zhongli’s mic breaks so badly it sounds like a historical artifact, Childe makes too many sex jokes and falls out of his chair miming penetration… nothing is ever smooth sailing. Itto is well aware of this fact, and regularly contributes to the chaos in every way possible, whether it be screaming like a little girl when the rat gets him in Cheese Escape, conducting Pavlovian mind experiments on Childe, all the way to doing full glam makeup looks on Thoma in the dead of night.

He never thought it’d be unintentionally.

It’s 3:47 AM, and the group is in a lull, scrolling on their phones and occasionally sharing some random thing they found on their Twitter timelines. Thoma’s started playing the full Hannah Montana discography in an attempt to start a digital rave, Childe is playing chess with an online bot (subsequently raging every time he loses), and Zhongli is crocheting while trying to give him pointers.

“Rook to E4.”

“No.” He moves his queen to the other side of the board, which instantly gets trapped by the opposing bishop. A whine escapes his lips as he slams his desk in agony, groaning and rocking back and forth like he’s just experienced the greatest tragedy of his lifetime.

“I told you so.”

As Ordinary Girl comes to a close, He Could Be The One blares through Thoma’s computer, and he shoots out of his chair to dance, encouraging the others to join. They all sit and watch as he breaks into a sad excuse for a disco boogie that looks more like an eighty-nine year old man with scoliosis trying to pick apples. Itto looks down to his phone and smiles, staring at a message from none other than you.

You, his old girlfriend from college. You, who made him feel the happiest he’s ever been. You, who parted ways with him after graduation and you, who started going out with him again after you met in the heart of Inazuma by chance.

You, who makes his cheeks flush red and his smile reach his ears as he opens your contact. It’s not much, but it’s enough to make Thoma’s retirement home moves fade from his mind.

He flushes and stammers for an answer. “Umm, I was scrolling through my Facebook feed and saw a photo of your mom in a bathing suit. LOL.”

Childe scratches his head. “My mom has Facebook?”

“Yup. She friended me right back as soon as I requested, little boy. I’m about to be your stepfather…” he trails off, watching as his phone buzzes to life with an audio message from you. “Oh em gee. Oh my god. Your mom just DMed me back. Hold on, I gotta look at this.” Itto’s scrambling for a way to excuse how he shoves his headphones off and clicks rapidly for the mute button, turning his back to the camera as he listens to your voice ring through the speaker, throwing out some gross cheesy pick-up line with a million kissing noises that, horrifyingly so, make his heart flutter.

With surprising speed, he lifts the microphone to his mouth to respond with an equally corny voice message back. “I’ll see you there shnookums, my little pookie bear, my sugarplum pumpkin cupcake princess.” A loud string of cartoon kisses follow and a slight laugh escapes him at the thought of you listening to his antics. He’s smitten. Wholly, entirely, truly consumed by this stupid little crush on you. Is it even a crush anymore, if you reciprocate? It doesn’t matter. He’s here in the middle of the night, smiling like an idiot at the sound of only your voice. Nothing else can explain why he’s acting like a lovesick teenager again, just like when he first met you at freshmen orientation for new LHU students. Your laugh, your smile, the way you looked at him like he was the only other person in the universe. Not looked — look. He’s lucky enough to have you and your loving gazes back.

After Itto clicks send, he leans his head back in his chair with his stupid smirk still on his face, the idea of you laughing at his dumb response running through his mind. The complete radio silence from his friends makes him pause, though. Before, he could hear the faint resonation of The Best of Both Worlds through his discarded headphones, but now it’s like there’s no one there. And his chat is racing at a million miles an hour.

His spine tingles like someone poured cold water on him, slowly putting his headphones back on and switching to Discord to see the shocked faces of his friends staring back at him. Minus Zhongli, who’s still knitting his blanket.

“You seemed a little enthusiastic talking to my mom, huh, Itto?” Childe teases, his jaw half open in shock.

“Who was that? Please? Itto? You can tell me. We’ve been friends since forever. Please.” Thoma’s doing a stupid pouty face at the camera, trying to force his eyes to water for dramatic effect like the dumb emoji he always sees on Twitter.

He feels like killing himself on live. Burying his face in his hands, he mutters out your name so faintly he’s sure none of them will hear. But Zhongli does, and he repeats it to the other two, whose faces light up as they make random animalistic noises. They were there for the entirety of your relationship, but still. It’s embarrassing. Totally not like he cried to them for days when you broke up after graduation, what with him going back to Inazuma and you off to your next big job offer all the way in Fontaine.

“Itto, why didn’t you tell us? We’re your BFFs. Forever and ever and ever. Five-ever. I’m hurt.” Childe whines into his mic, still elated at the idea of him getting back with his university lover.

“Because I knew you guys would do this…”

Thoma grins as he leans in close. “Can you give us more info on your date with your ‘sugarplum pumpkin cupcake princess’?”

Itto hangs up in a flurry of laughter and embarrassment.
