ok how would’ve swap ended

heres my outline for the chapters ill never write, and here you can find a bit of chapter 11! fun! in my own words, under the cut.

we left off with sanyas place being bloodied and filled with a few corpses, dmitry nowhere to be found. chapter 10 ends. chapter 11 starts with yura, with some reflection on what happened and on his feelings, where its revealed dmitry has been taken by the facility. sanya told him this. sergei told her that.

yura and sergei meet up.

basically that. sergei says he and sanya cant stay at their place now, so theyre staying at some hotel for the nearby future, until their flat gets cleaned of all the blood and gore and dead bodies. hes more upset than in canon, because, he could have died! yura should have known better! says math tutoring with sanya is overrr and asks if he still wants to go to the zone. yura says hehe yeah then we get some more reflection. thinks about katya. and. man. ok. tarts cleave made me put some yurima in this, like, internalized homophobia. so this is a sort of yurima fic, the way that yuras like ohh what is this fucking feeling!!! and dima hates yuras guts, but tolerates him bc hes his only source of food and resources.

then the chapter would switch to anya pov. school is ending, her classrooms packing up, when she hears some of her classmates talking about this gorey event. apparently, some runaway mutant killed some people!! this classmate lives in the same complex as the kazarins maybe idk who knows. anyas like woahhh what the hell!!! and when she comes home talks to kt about it. anya exegaterates the gore a lot. katyas uncomfortable. she knows this mutant could be, and is most likely, dmitry. she doesnt reveal her own mutation. anya is in the dark. chapter 11 ends!

chapter 12 is sanya pov, shes very angry at sergei. focus on her grief, sorta. she feels dumb for letting dima get caught. he trusted her, and whatd she do? trust the wrong person. boom. angst ten thousand. of course she doesnt tell sergei that she knew dimas a mutant. hes pissed too, but not at her rlly, hes very detached from the emotional business. the chapter would end like false disposition does.

chapter 13 is the mill. not much changes. nikita still dies, yura still kills.

chapter 14 is strike 3. olya still took the blame. basically goes the same as canon. sanyas probably even more fucked up now, because she not only lost dima, but also nikita, and olya to jail. chapter 13 would have probs been very long, so strike 3 would be shorter.

chapter 15 is! yura talks to sanya. shes like hey what the fuck dude youve been avoiding me ever since nikita died. thats not cool. he ignores her and instead tells her about katya (they already met in the written part, only for a brief moment, but yura remembers). this is sanya pov so we wouldnt get much yura 'objective feelings', but hed be very insistent about blackmailing katya into helping them get dima back. sanya calls him dumb. its dangerous. yura ignores her, says hell do this with or without her. sanya agrees. basically this part of convergence

(ignore titulky,thats just subtitles) sanya is also like. invested in getting dima back. righting her wrong, you know? feels very responsible for his capture.

then, katya pov! shes scared, a bit. what if olya reports her? what if she already has? sure, shes nice, but like. she knows. she said its fine, and katya would like to believe it, but with dima getting captured. shes anxious. so she asks anya to run away with her. anya is hesistant, but kt calls her a chicken, rubs in how much anya complains about it. so she agrees. theyll leave tomorrow.

chapter 16. sanya, for the first time since dimas capture, goes to dimas hiding place. overindulgence in grief is only immature and stuff, but also, maybe she thinks she can find some stuff of his or smth. she umm. well. we get a flashback from dimas pov. its chapter 10. sanya just left him alone with sergei. sergei goes to another room. hes talking to someone. dima is so out of it. then, police busts in - with kt, there was too much, a whole swat team. with dima, there was too little, just your regular cops checking out a disturbance. they manage to shoot dima a time or two, but ultimately, he kills them and runs away. he runs all the way to his hideout. hes so scared. so angry. so upset. its just like comfort zone all over again.

somehow, he makes it to his hideout. theres not many people outside at the time, and those who are arent too keen on confronting an obvious mutant. blue sparks around him. dima thinks Im safe here im okay im safe. his thoughts are so jumbled and incoherent. he doesnt want to die. he either bleeds out or has a stroke and dies.

cut back to sanyas pov. its been at least two weeks since his 'capture'. she smells his rotting corpse before she sees it. she feels terrible. so bad. she cant even burry him. what will she tell yura? why didnt sergei tell her the truth, that he escaped? did he think shed go out looking for him? she would have. could she have saved him? why did it take her so long to go here? why did she let him die? so so much angst and grief. shes had enough.

chapter 17 is convergence. katya and anya are packing up. yura comes there, says anya wasnt responding to his messages and he got worried. this is either katya or anya pov or both. probs katya. he starts talking about dima, and the girls recognize the story. hes talking about how dima was his friend and hed like to get him out of the facility. takes out the cube, asks katya to help him get out. switch to yura pov. katya refuses. wowww what a brat. anyas so so upset with him. he doesnt listen to her, ignores her as much as possible. he talks about olya. mentions shes in custody or smth rn. that he killed a man. if katya doesnt help him, hell report her and olya will be in trouble. he takes out his phone. he doesnt show them the screen. he tried calling sanya, but she just woudlnt pick up. so, he just tells them hes on a call with her, and if they hurt him, shell report them in his place. and olya will be in trouble. he understands that hes being stupid. understands katya is just a kid. understands anya cares for her. understands her mutation could be dangerous. but so whatttt dude.. why are you against this.. you homophonbic?!?!?? you dont want to see yurima 60fps kiss?!?!?!

switch to anya pov. shes so fucking mad and upset and betrayed. hears katya counting to ten repeatedly under her breath. yelling at yura. yura fights with her a bit. he sets his hand on katyas shoulder. she pushes them both away. and just like that she turns into a monster! will somebody show up to save the day?

(drew this earlier this year, like, february/march or smth - i could redraw it better but i dont wanna lol)

chapter 18. yura calls sanya again. she picks up. he tells her its all gone to shit, asks her why she didnt pick up. anya is yelling at him, screaming for him to get out, katyas meat exploded all over olyas plcae, anyas in shambles, trying to get through to katya. shes unsuccesfull. yura basically begs sanya to come over, that its went wrong. sanya is.. well, she seems faraway. like she just saw some shit. no time to think about that tho. sanya, pissed off, because yura now made this girl cry for nothing, comse over and Oh she didnt just cry! awesome! she gets super pissed at yura. shes done. yura asks her to help, what to do. he didnt know this would happen. sanya rlly shouts at him so bad. mentions dimas dead. that she found his body. that it was all for nothing. anya would be yelling t her to get out too, but shes too exhausted. shes just hanging out with katya now. begging her to turn back. she doesnt care that shes a mutant. they can run away right now, just please, turn back, itll be okay, olya will be fine, you just have to turn back, istill love you, please turn back, please dont leave me. yura is. man. he feels like shit. dima is Dead? so he doomed this girl for nothing? doomed his relationship with his sister for nothing? wow. sanyas so pissed off and done with everything she just leaves. yura tries to call sergei. it goes straight to voicemail. what the fuck are they going to do

chapter 19. katya pov. its all fucked up. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 yura touches her shoulder and she explodes.. it fucking hurtssss. anyas so louid it hurts. someone new comes over. it hurts. someone leaves. yura calls someone again. nobody comes. it hurts. anyas crying. it hurts. yura calls somebody else and anyas screaming again. yura tries to drag anya away. shes screaming. it hurts. yura leaves. more people show up after some time. anya screams at them. they take anya away from the flat. they take katya away, too.

chapter 20. epilogue 1. yura and anya life after the incident - like a month maybe. olyas gone. shes stuck at home. sergeis so fucking done with him. anya didnt tell the containment services about yuras outburst, because, he has the recording. maybe if they dont know that olya let katya stay, they'll let her go.. but, they dont. shes in jail. yura hasnt even thanked her. yura is.. hes dealing with the death of dima, nikita, anyas grief too, and sanya. yura and sanya. sanyas pissed at him. he did to his sister what sergei did to her and dima. but hes her rfiend. shes lost so much. she cant lose him too. it sucks. theyre not happy together. yura hasnt said sorry. they dont talk about dima. they try to forget about it all. sanya and sergei. ermmm. not cool.

chapter 21. epilogue 2. sanya and anya. they talk. they hug. the end.

the yabusame siblings and drums

okay i will stop posting long ass incoherant rambles about them that no one sees when they get OUT OF MY BRAIN.

drumming and drums are such a huge symbol for their ENTIRE relationship. the whole thing. i mean yeah, obviously, the bongos. but also alice was the drums in samurai yaiba. literally AND metaphorically (okay this all might be a bit of a stretch but hear me out on this one)

drums are CRUCIAL to a song. they are make or break i think. and yet they're sort of, almost background instruments. they support the melody, without actually adding anything to it (obviously there are exceptions to this, but im talking generally here). and when on stage they are very often LITERALLY in the back. like stage position wise, they are further back. and yet they are still crucial. and this i think speaks volumes to alice's role in the band because, yeah even though he can't play the drums, his presence is crucial both musically and technically. and it also speaks volumes to alice's role in reko's life: in the background, but THERE. there and crucial. they aren't really that close during the samurai yaiba era, reko is completely apathetic to him and he stays mostly out of her way. but he's THERE and that's what's important.

and obviously i have to mention the bongos. he gave those to her, as a gift, and also to replace the ones she lost YEARS ago. his attempt to repair something that had already been broken for a very very long time. and reko never plays them. she almost throws them out but she doesn't. again: drums, background, crucial.

and then when alice is arrested, reko loses herself. she loses her music. her drum (literally and metaphorically) is gone. she no longer has that support, she doesnt have that background presence anymore. and the melody is getting out of sync because there's no beat to keep it in line and is this metaphor getting confusing? whatever. alice's arrest makes her unable to make the same music she used to.

but then she starts playing the bongos.

she joins a new band, and in this band she is playing the bongos. she is the drummer. she is becoming what alice couldn't be because he was in jail. she is becoming that supportive background presence in her own life because who else is going to? and the fact that these drums were a gift to her from alice make this so much more painful.

AND ALSO. in game, her relationship with alot of the younger cast (particularly kanna and gin) is that of an older sibling. AGAIN. SHE IS BECOMING WHAT ALICE COULDN'T BE!!!!!!!! BECAUSE HE WAS IN JAIL!!!!!! she becomes warmer, more compassionate, alot like alice was when they were younger because she misses him and she misses the role he played in her life. so she fills his shoes. she plays his drums.

okay sorry about that i had to bring drums back into this.

and im not even going to GET INTO the bongo scene right now.

also, lil disclaimer, i am not a musician so i dont actually know alot about drums. take this with a grain of salt

so mia's life post degrassi isn't very simple there is a life beyond degrassi community school. (under the cut!)

so its like what? 2009? 2010 if i remember correctly she went to paris so from paris onward. she was working there for a time but it's different than growing up where she did and maybe she wants to do things beyond modeling. holding that thought on the back burner but it comes in and out her consciousness.

she's isolated or with the party scenes and such maybe she experiments a lot left to own devices goes a little bit overboard in a lot of ways. after some clarity or fear of losing everything, eventually maybe if things dry up or things are changing going in other directions job opportunities aren't so much of a pay off just getting generally bored and exhausting and competition and it all becomes too much maybe she gets homesick or something? whatever it may be, maybe she wants to focus on her lifetime responsibilities. so before all that realization and looking inside of herself and her life big picture, aiming high but being realistic of course say initially her mom and Isabella pack up and move and join her in pairs where the damage was done and mama jones regrets the whole thing, and sees mia is either depressed, addicted to drugs, maybe drinking to much or a combination and maybe something huge happens where she hides it for a long time and then by the third or fourth week it appears to be what it is and mama jones and mia talk rehab, talk about maybe making changes, and mia is disillusioned self conscious and like it or not tired. the money and vices that come with modeling perhaps come up they have to devise a new game plan, for the best interest of everyone. mama jones (name?) maybe wants more stability for isabella, while she can't live with irresponsible lucas, and jane has since skipped town and eventually traveled and did run into mia and updated her in the 411 back at home. what became of peter and their other friends and lucas came up naturally or whatever. he seemed to never really launch or aspire to be anything and still lives with their mom. who does continue to keep in touch with mama jones and mia and of course always sends her love and gifts and such.

lucas had since been kind of on the outside of mia's life and Isabella's. but now that he's older he feels guilty, but also doesn't want to do anything with his life either. with his former friends in varying things such as working, or in jail, or bad boy turned good johnny dimarco distantcing himself from his bad boy past.

like mia and all avoiding that kind of stuff too the difference between mia and lucas is that mia clawed her way out in contrast, lucas stayed pretty much the same and got by coasted on videogames and weed self medicating and in the last 10 years has not communicated much. he signs moms cards. he doesn't go out of his way. isabella stopped caring or expecting anything from lucas.

she doesnt even call him dad but by his first name. legally he's not even responsible because something I'll explain later. obviously he's not really dad material so mia as always picked up the slack with the help of mia's mom obviously.

we know mia's mom did double duty but mia is ready to give Isabella stability. we all know the modeling gigs she got in France were lucrative. she did jetset for a time to Milan and became a muse for a start up fashionline and it was the most she'd been paid for anything ever but felt tempted again and started inching her way toward the allure of the lifestyle that almost killed her career and had to take a step back.

by this time, she's getting older now, she wants to leave that part of her life behind. she's not so keen on returning back to degrassi/toronto so she settled in california and with her earnings she saved up over time. she did it smart, played it safe but for good reason. she always knew it wasn't going to last forever but it was a fun experience while it lasted and something she was immensely she's grateful for. modeling was sometimes good, but ultimately it wasn't for her.

between the consequential nature of her first gig (t-bombz) there were several smear campaigns (fans of tom of course) that caught wind of the less than clean-cut contradicting image of tom who was embroiled in scandals after a while when people started tipping off the press to his less than innocent sex parties with minors it landed in him in hot water naturally metoo movement decimated his career and he was hurting in his wallet. he allegedly was injured around this time and all these things were coming out and none of it looked good for him or mia, and his career dried but he has money like mia, but he's low profile. he'll do anything for the limelight he's cashing in and worked on some memoir where he dished.

so he does some interviews for promoting the new book on tv and it was all over the place, inescapable and the fall out was AWFUL and like holly j in the past the receipts and past caught up to mia and her now teenage daughter by this time in life.

she sues for defamation, he countersues but eventually they both settle it's rough on both of them this lasts a long while, Isabella is discovers this about her mom and thinks back to her limited memories and finds it horrifying and their relationship isn't the best and they go thru a rift and low point in their dynamic. she really didn't know her mom, raised by her grandma for over a year while mia was first starting out with her modeling career obviously, so she became more accustomed to that. mia made sacrifices but claimed it was mostly for them, issy doesn't buy it. mia and her daughter fall out privately, now that was all in vain because issy doesn't want her mom around her, she needs time to heal from that and is closer to grandma anyway.

so with her deadbeat dad, mom's bad reputation and sordid rep, grandma seems the best option. they relocate back to toronto and she even goes to degrassi for a time but mia stays in California for commercials, modeling, influencer culture and tries to put the past behind her. a roller coaster esque uphill and downhill battle.

she really never intended to be a mom anyhow and doesn't feel the motherly connection she did when she was full-time mom part-time student, pre-modeling.

she and peter reconnect and they make beautiful music together literally and figuratively. he too lives out in la and works for various music outlets as a producer and mia was signed to one of these record companies, he helped her cultivate her image, hire staff and they eventually though late night recording sessions made a love story of their own working on mia's album. they lived pretty happily ever after and eventually got married a year or two later.

her mom's upcoming marriage to her former high school flame prompted Isabella to want to be close to mom once again, mend fences and such both suffered a lot. maybe they didn't have the traditional mother-and-daughter relationship at any point in their lives but Isabella decided to accept peter as a father figure and reclaim her place with mia once again. mia put her mom in a motherinlaw suite by their pool house to take care of her mom so she's still close. she approves of peter. lucas' life tragically continued going downward and he stayed in toronto watching mia continue to rise, their daughter being taken care of by mia's family and he feels hurt. jane's mom chooses to be more active and visits Isabella and mia with jane sometimes. lucas on the other hand does nothing about it accepts it, and signs over his parental rights and neglects to tell them.

So Jane and of course their hs friends and former studz members even spinner and such visit peter and mia from time to time a few times out of the year and its nice. sometimes it truly takes a village, absence makes the heart grow fonder. sometimes found families are the best families. nobody has it completely together, teen moms can live productive lives, sometimes the career you initially pursue realsiticly isn't the best fit. sometimes people struggle. sometimes with the best intentions, you can't control the feelings and reactions of others such as Isabella and mia's struggle to find peace and comfort in their later years and eventually can rebuild their relationships. some people even if you push them, they got to want to be successful or try and fail, instead of remaining complacent and doing nothing to improve their situation. all people are valid, all of this is some people's reality perhaps not the modeling and singing and peter' (i can't believe this is peter) but some version of a guy who started one way and grew up to be admirable, sweet and responsible with goals and passions and living sober and working hard every day to remain that way and be a good example to friends, family and success isn't linear

blady blah. this is rooough, and long and all but here ya go! thank you! TLDR mia models for a long time but grows disinterests and tries on many careers before finally moving on and up and reconnects with peter and they later marry. her relationship with Isabella is rocky and inconsistent and eventually become better than ever and mama jones lucas' mom, jane and old friends often visit and take big roles in Isabella, mia and her mom share a property and mia takes care of her mom and is thankful for her and Isabella. lucas' life tragically never becomes much of anything and is essentially a bum, a footnote and not involved, signed over his rights and Isabella doesn't take him seriously being burned by his neglect and does not really talk or keep in touch. it's not all perfect.

Regarding this docs in RE6 game:

Game tries to make us to see Leon and Claire like passionate and good surrogate parents for Sherry...

But this file is so lazy and poor. Claire flu to another continent and assaulted Umbrella's facility to find her brother but she is okey to leaving Sherry jailed for years with the condition she can visit her like "hey Sherry, take this tupper, bye Sherry" while Sherry feels jailed for years and Claire does nothing about this.

Also the reasons to have her jailed was because "she knows to much" (a little girl knows to much, but an adult woman who was actually IN Umbrellas's lab in Raccoon City seems to not be important if she knows or not, it's okey if Claire goes and leaves Sherrys jail despite all she knows… gov is not interested in Claire's dangerous position about telling stuff), later said is because her virus, but then we have in this stupid game, Jake being free while he is Wesker f*king son (and, in general, character seems to be freed after the games, despite their virus, like Ethan). Later they said in re6 file it was because Wesker wanted to find her, like HOW gov knew about Wesker intentions so concretely? You know, you ONLY KNOW about his intentiones because his report, in where he already got her. But gov magically knows so they can put her in a jail so she can stay in the game with the goods ones.

All this game about Sherry's future is lazy, vague and poor written.

Leon made a deal with gov and the deal was "leave Sherry alone" in re3 epilogue, while in re6 turned into "Ah I will work for gov and gov will get Sherry jailed ANYWAY" very good deal, my boy. You are seeing how gov uses girl and turns her into soldier risking her life and both of you are okey. Leon in re6 even told her "ah, I've heard you become agent" like "ahhh yeah I hear this but I didnt visit her nor I confronted gov for this decission"

All this because they were to afraid to make Sherry in Wesker hands as said the original report. And please, do not come to me to say "Wesker got her but prefer to let her in gov" because even re6 files said he wanted to find her. (and I just don't see Wesker leaving a f*ing important virus/person in gov when he can have in his own hands, also I don't believe Wesker is unable to find her, like cmon… Is Wesker).

So for me, Claire and Leon turned into a resigned persons who accepted a girl being imprisoned for many years, and this girl is okey with that as long is helps to move the plot.

Re6 and its poor written stuff. Jake was gonna be Wesker in re6. They changed because it was repetitive bringing Wesker again, but this means Jake campaign was gonna be "Sherry and Wesker campaign", looks more close to the report, (besides always looked strange the campaing was "LEON campaing, CHRIS campaing" while Sherry was "JAKE, THIS CHARACTER YOU DONT KNOW campaing instead her). The changed this in the last time and turned into a son from nowhere so is obvious they changed all the plot about Sherry in jail / in Wesker hands. So everything about Claire, Leon and Sherry being a super happy family was fast written and adapted and of course, it feels rushed.

And please, not, is not like I dont want Sherry to be happy with Leon and Claire, is just the written of all this is so lazy, like when in re2r she just saw her mother dying like 4 hours ago and she is like "can I have a puppy?" this scene should be more bittersweet, doesnt means Claire doesnt care about her, but you cannot just sweeten a orphan girl, traumatized with a virus and with the violent death of both parents like that. And that is not PTSD or shock, she is genuine happy and capcom wanted the scene feels happy and right.

What it bothers me to much is for years capcom, Leon and Claire just ignored Sherry in games (im not blaming characters, im blaming capcom to make them in this way), never speak about her, never let a comment about their relation ship and suddenly is all built off camera in a game, right after you have a official report who contradicts that and for years, fans though she was with Wesker, like Steve. If you are gonna change that, you cannot do rush in the last game and say "ah yeyeye, in all these years they were very friends". SHOW IT. I just dont believe the scene when Sherry talks about them because I dont feel it.

hi susan ^_^ [dsmp rp] have some c!drunz you all. first, i started writing and then i blacked out and when i came back it was all written. so idk if you want this or not okay. it got a bit long :3

punz is older than dream ofc. punz first met dream when the younger one had made a into spotlight in the world. ofc the games played across the servers are never fair. blood as to be spilled. the people were chasing dream when punz stepped in and slayed them. he took dream home. he taught how him how the game of life works. you are always the hunted even when you think otherwise. keep few people closer and only look after them and yourself. trust with caution. they were barely teens. both humans

punz went away and dream found his family. they didnt meet for years. dream was in late teens now. with a mask on his face and improved skills he was dominating across championships with george and sapnap. ofc dream has told george and sapnap of his old friend. punz made name for himself, mercenary who only obeys money. you pay you get what you're asking for. people in authority disappearing in the dead of the night. dream found the mercenary in a barn. dream took him home this time. "i made a safe place for us punz. its beautiful." punz smiled but noticed the uncertain face.

punz had dream. punz had a family now. punz felt belonged. punz was on edge. both had barely stepped into adulthood. both fierce loyal and strategic. doing anything to keep the home safe.

every conflict punz was by dream's side. the younger one slightly wary of the mercenary as the wars increased. he knew the other answered to the money. "i'll pay you punz" "i'll serve you then" was their agreement. "you dont backstab?" "all i know is money". both lying. they cared for each other.

everything changed one day. dream stumbled into the house looking like a wreck a book in hand. eyes glancing everywhere. punz held him. dream looked normal the next day and they with technoblade and other brought down the president. soon after the alliances were broken. punz was right there with dream who was backing up techno. punz was scared of whatever that has happened that night.

"he doesnt love me anymore" dream came to their hidden base. punz knew what dream had done. "he says i dont care anymore". punz was the first one to know about dream and george. they spent the evening in silence. dream was reading the old book "i'll pay you punz." desperateness laced his voice. "promise me you'll look after him. you'll look after them"

he was the one who saw dream spiraling. he was the one who stayed all along. payment wasnt there anymore. the books revealed secrets and dream had a plan. punz didnt even have to promise he will be there by his side. both just knew.

punz was cleaning his tower when he saw the axe punz had gave him when they met the very first time. it was the week before the dream went to jail. it was the first time punz had cried before dream. they has both fallen asleep on punz's bed cheeks tear stained. two lonely souls and no one else.

tommy had left the payment in the tower. a sad smile graced punz's face. it was all going according to the plan. dream patted his back. "promise you'll follow the plan" "promise you wont leave me forever" they hugged tightly.

the urge to raise his axe and slay each and everyone present in the vault who was against dream. punz's hand were shaking as dream lost his second life. dream looked at punz for one last time. when no one was looking punz kissed his forehead "take care silly" dream subtly nodded as sam pulled him to his feet ready to be led to pandora.

and punz kept his promise. the evil power corrupted him a bit but he kept his promise. he went to kinoko. sapnap looked happy with karl. george kept on sleeping. punz would go and look at him trying to wake him up but to no avail. is he too late?

punz used to go home going through all the books to make potions to make the evil power go away. i have to keep the promises. he almost died. overdosed. the egg's power left him before it could do. but punz kept on pretending to serve the egg. he needed to keep watch on the activities.

one day he found george in the middle of the forest. worried that he was hurt he ran. but george was just sleeping. "dream?" "he is away" punz wondered if george would even remember this tomorrow. punz weeped.

the three months passed and punz waited in the snow. he waited for so long his lips going blue as the storms passed. he went back home. he went to the place everyday.

tommy died. punz couldnt care less. he was more scared for dream.

punz stood frozen in ground as he saw quackity come out of the prison. clothes buddy and bickering with sam. he had to keep believing in their plan. he had to wait. punz was helpless.

tommy was back. then wilbur. why did dream revive wilbur? punz looked at the prison from far away.

the prison alarms went off. punz ran to the place they had decided to meet. he stayed. he prayed to the universe that it was all fine. dream didnt show up.

sam has called them. sapnap trusted punz. they were a family once. now punz wanted to put a sword through sam's chest and cut off all the ties with sapnap. no. they were going to be a family again.

he hit dream with a steak. no one would notice. ranboo is dead. no no no not ranboo. punz had seen dream after months. he was alive. he looked bloody and broken. techno yelled at dream to hurry out of the area and punz dived into the blue ocean. he ran and swam to the spot. he waited. he ran around. maybe he forgot?

"punz!" "dream!" dream has ran into punz's arms. dream was cold. thin. fragile. punz was warm and dream almost melted. "long time no see buddy!" "i was waiting for you for so long" punz gave dream the armour. "i'll meet you at the tower" "i'll be waiting" they hugged again. punz smiled and ruffled dream's dirty hair. they didnt want to let go.

dream stumbled into the tower. punz was making dinner. they both stared at each other for few mins. "hi" "you're home" "i know" next dream was having a warm shower. then he was give warm food. his hands shook. punz fed him slowly with patience. punz wanted to ask what had happened exactly inside. they both didnt speak of it. punz slept by dream trying to keep away the nightmares. punz was going to rip quackity limb by limb. they kept on going with the plan. dream muttered something about techno. punz was a bit wary.

punz was collecting honey for dream. dream walked in as stared at the shears in hand. he walked back into the house. punz ran after him and found him hyperventilating. dream broke down sometime after punz held him to calm him down. dream told him everything.

"im so sorry i wasnt there im sorry dream" punz cried as the words sunk in. "its not your fault" "i should have stopped you that day, i was always supposed to be there" "you're here now. you know i wouldnt have listened." "i know..." they looked at each other all calmy. Avian Niki

niki is either a crow hybrid or an angel hybrid. on one hand crow niki is funny to me on the other hand badass angel

her feathers, ironically, stay white during her 'villain' arc because yaknow symbolism

when she was going out with puffy, she'd let puffy preen them

because she was the only other winged hybrid, quackity trusted her to preen his own wings

in return he preened hers while she was in jail

she used to fly with puffy because love <3

during her isolation arc, she takes out feathers as an unhealthy coping mechanism, reasoning to herself that there's no need to preen if she doesn't have any feathers left (yes it's morbid)

eventually tho she just. doesnt even wear clothes for her wings

she just hides them underneath, which is of course VERY uncomfortable

they get worse and worse and ache more and more and she wants to fly so badly but she can't unless she preens them and she can't because she just can't!

when she joins the syndicate, the first thing phil says during their second meeting is: "hey niki didn't you have wings? what happened to them?"

his voice is tinged with sympathy; he knows what it's like to not be able to fly

she freezes, just stops moving, then starts to cry

phil is worried he's done something wrong, but then she reveals that she's kept her wings hidden under wil's coat and cloak all that time (note the symbolism)

he immediately is like "what the FUCK" when he sees them because there are feathers falling when it's not even shedding season yet?? also there are a few in places they shouldn't be at all? there are some fucking missing?????

long story short it takes multiple hours to get them back in place

niki passes out during it because it's been so long since she hasn't been in constant pain

when she wakes up, phil insists on keeping her there to preen her wings

also the syndicate has a long discussion about what happened and they promise each other and themselves to help her get better

Lion Hybrid Niki

she purrs end tweet

no but seriously this girl will purr to end and back

she purrs louder than ranboo which is SAYING something

she loves the scritchy scratches behind the ears. like REALLY loves 'em. she'll just- once you give her scritches she just. surrenders and leans into it. her purring sounds like a fucking jet plane when she gets the scritchies

she can roar, she only uses it to intimidate people tho

her self-worth is just. deeper than bedrock. she has no self-worth

she and puffy are working on it but she still... needs help

sometimes she gets phantom pain from her declawed fingers. she's found out it hurts less when she massages it, but she can't actually reach it, so she asks puffy to do it, and puffy can't help but feel guilty each time she sees the stumps

also niki hates getting her nails trimmed. like HATES it. even if she doesn't want them growing as long as they did before, the idea of something sharp near her fingers after what happened just makes her blanch

eventually tho she does have to do it

she hugs puffy while ant cuts her nails, and puffy whispers sweet, reassuring comments to her.

"you're doing so good. i'm so proud of you" and "we're almost there. you okay? we're gonna get through this."

sometimes tho niki just.. can't handle it. but she doesn't want to disappoint puffy either so she tries to just get through it anyways.

puffy notices her discomfort and asks her if she wants to stop. niki hesitates before nodding.

"niki, you being comfortable is so much more important than this. we can do it tomorrow, okay?"

Enderman Hybrid Niki

makes littol enderman noises. sometimes when she's stressed, sometimes just idly, sometimes when she's happy!

she has a tail because how can i not give her one

also she has pawsies and hands like magpiebur by @/nightferns (BECAUSE I LOVE THE WAY THEY DRAW WILBUR'S PAWWWS)

can withstand water a little better than ranboo, being more human than him

it still burns though

she just has higher pain tolerance lul

also can touch snow unlike ranboo because she's half human, half enderman

her ears and tail twitch whenever she's anxious

didn't really like eye contact, and the l'manbergians respected that (esp eret who didnt like people staring at their eyes either) until schlatt came along and basically forced it, so she kinda forced herself to do it from then on

unlike ranboo however, she doesnt go into enderwalk. she actually hasn't got an enderwalk because ranboo got it from nervous habit and it 'evolved' from there (my hc anyway), she instead literally gets hurt

like it hurts her to make eye contact

ranboo sees that she makes eye contact despite being an enderman hybrid and is like: "...HOW???"

she's just like "oh i force myself to do it lul. cause everyone expects me to anyways. it hurts after a while but its fine"

he just goes completely silent after that, then tells phil and techno at the syndicate meeting (while niki is admiring steve) not to hold eye contact w/niki because it hurts her

techno: "HEHH??? she seemed fine when i visited her!!" ranboo: "yeah she's been hiding it this whole time because society expects her to do it." techno, an adhd fella: "..phil where are the adoption papers-"

niki's confused by the end. why did nobody look at her? why did nobody maintain eye contact with her??? did they not like her?

but at the end phil explains that they thought that because she was an enderman hybrid she wouldn't like it (they're lying to not throw ranboo under the bus)

niki just stares, then starts to cry because holy Shit they are so nice

"nIKI NO YOU'RE BURNING-"

used to bite her tail as a way of self-harm. techno was VERY concerned when he saw the bite marks, but niki just lied and said that it was a dog attack

he knows for a fact it wasn't a dog because he's been bitten and his furniture has bites and it didnt look like that

more like that One Time when Ranboo bit him while he was in his enderwalk state

cue him connecting the dots and being like "...WAIT"

niki also really likes blocks. like we all know her city is weird in some parts because it's built with different blocks, signifying niki's jumbled up mind while planning to kill tommy. but in the enderman hybrid niki hc, its also partly because blocks feel nice and she wanted to feel different ones

her tail curls around the legs of people she likes. so far, it's gone around: wilbur, tommy n tubbo (those two specifically during pogtopia), fundy, eret, puffy and the rest of the syndicate

whenever puffy made her flustered she'd blush either green or pink. no inbetween. puffy was very confused and thought niki was disgusted by her at first and was all :(( before niki explained her wack biology

Of COURSE it is. That ship gives me so much happiness and it's definitely gonna be included (doesn't mean other ships won't be included either tho)

(Also a lot of things about Amazo is inspired off of @djsadbean )

Of course, since in the OG he's supposedly a hero before Wordgirl, he's a villain in this au. And a very dangerous one at that. Since he's older, he has much more control over his large amount power. Plus, he doesn't have TwoBrains to stop him (Wordgirl's biggest obstacle)

He keeps his criminal life seperate from his civilian one (a rude man under the name of Adam) in order to stay out of jail and be able to enter public spaces without everyone being terrified of him. He doesnt mind people's fear, it just gets annoying when you're just trying to go out for food or something and people refuse to serve you. It just makes living life a little easier.

Of course, people (mostly heros) tried desperately to reveal Amazo's indentity and put him behind bars, but they were never able to. The most they could do was stop him from destroying the city or committing a crime. But there's people who spend so much time just trying to find the criminal, but it seems impossible. Of course, one person was able to. But he doesn't seem keen on letting anyone else know

That person is clearly Steven, who is less concerned with separating his criminal life with his civilian one. And unlike Amazo, he has been to jail many many times. But they cant keep him there for long, breaking out was like a fun little game of "how long will it take for them to keep Steven contained". The longest game had been a few days, he was quite exhausted from his last crime spree and took a little break in the jail cell.

But Steven and AmazoGuy often team up together for destruction. With Amazo having ungodly powers and Steven's incredible intelligence, what can go wrong? Or right for that matter. And even when not commiting crimes, they very much enjoy eachothers company. They finally find someone to relate to after many years of being alone, and they click really quickly.

Of course, they aren't without flaws. Amazo can be very cocky due to his ego that comes from his massive power. Plus, he does have a bit of a soft side. He loves cute animals to death, and he is very adament on not hurting people. He'd very much rather save someone from pain than have a plan succeed.

And Steven of course doesnt have any super powers. He fully relies on his destructive rays and weapons he made himself, even often creating gadgets to protect himself from getting hit. He can get annoyed very easily, especially since he is often seen as lesser than due to constantly being compared to Amazo. He is sometimes even seen as AmazoGuy's henchman, which does NOT make him happy. He often feels like he has to prove himself, which is usually successful in doing so since he doesnt have much as restraint over people as Amazo.

As for their actual relationship, it's pretty rad. They tease eachother a lot, but very much deeply care for one another. Steven respects Amazo's want to keep his supervillain identity a secret, and Adam helps a lot with errands since he can't enter many public areas. They have a lot of sweet moments with one another, but both are socially awkward and don't know how to handle a lot of emotions for others. Kinda like as headcanoned by a couple of people in the og, they never make dating official, but they wanna spend the rest of their lives together.

Also I am finished with Amazo's design, I just gotta digitalize it. And once I do, i will be unstoppable

I feel like Columbo in the world of Ace Attorney could go two ways.

Fantastic speed bump in all the cases hes allowed to be involved in. Routinely trips up Gumshoe for hours at a time by bringing up rabbit trails until he just tells Dick to go handle the paperwork, which he does bc its easier that figuring out whatever angle Columbos on. Stalls cases out so they last a week at minimum bc he more or less figures out whose responsible and works from there. If you're a defense attorney and Columbo seems uninterested in your client beyond an initial chat, you know that the prosecution is going to be handed a report on just how the killer is actually someone related to the case but not the defendant. Edgeworth dreads having to work with him because Columbo is never automatically on his side. Hes always on the victims side, end of story. Von Karma probably only weaseled out of suspension bc it flat didnt occur to Columbo to think there was another person involved until Wright brings it up. Hes probably the only one who wasnt wigged out about the spirit medium thing. Probably offered to let Edgeworth stay with his family for a bit, because Gregory strikes me as the kinda guy Columbo would invite over for dinner. Hes probably a touch less chill bc of the sheer volume of cases and things needing looked at.

Prosecutors favorite mixed bag. Because this is a man who is very good at his job, even if his superiors really dont want him to be. One hand, if Columbo agrees with who you have on trial, your job is basically done. His reputation pulls weight in a world where you get three days max for a trial and investigation is barely longer than that, while overlapping. On the other, if you put Columbo on the stand and he DOESNT believe you're trying the right person, you're handing the defense a free win. Because he WILL have evidence and he will have walked the defense through it and might tag team with them on it in the courtroom. In normal world, the court is not his job. But in AA, a detective's job seems to largely be done while speed running with the lawyers prodding around instead. And if he knows the prosecution is content to jail an innocent to make their own jobs easier, he will flip on them. This is a man that can and will ferret out corrupt superiors and in canon succeed in doing so. In AA that's a very dangerous, but probably possible and necessary action.

Basically its "how long until someone tries to shoot him and he lives because Dog bites the potential murderer on the leg" and "how much subterfuge is happening in the background to keep Columbo being a one man publicity stunt for the police while also not having him find out EVERYTHING".

I mostly started the post bc I kept imagining Colombo doing his thing at Redd White until the smug bastard was begging to be jailed. Bc he just. Exists. Wherever the suspect is. Until he's sure.

Realistically tho, even having only played up to Turnabout Goodbyes, the in universe corruption in the legal system would probably mean he just was out of a job, or hes part of the old guard that knows what it used to be like when the process if law and order at least kinda worked.

I like to imagine he'd work with Wright as a consultant tho, just bc I like the idea of maya playing with Dog while Columbo gives Phoenix information

this is because of the bipolar he suffers from, it is referenced later in the series after he gets back and hes manic

of course he didnt accept it, it is made very clear that his family thinks lowly of monica so of course if hes the lucky duck to get what his siblings demonize her for, of course he’ll not want to be it

he tried blackmailing an old client for money

of course he did, hes a southside kid who was destined to fail

also it is very apparent that during the gay jesus era he went off his medication which didnt help

as much as yes, he did let it mess with his head, he was trying to still help lgbt youth and was going against anti gay churchs , in the end it didnt work out for him because he was off his meds and went over board

because he was doing good in there

ian was helping others and was spreading awareness about lgbt with in the prison , and as him and jail scenes go , we can see people were listening to him and he was trying to make it safe sane and consensual

he didnt want to, we can see this, because he knew he would let down everyone, his family were the only ones to ever ground him and they knew it would be the best option for his own mental health

during the gallavich wedding we can see that a lot of his supporters still have his back because they must know how hard it was for him to put all of that success on something he can’t control

he constantly wasted his potential

this is actually the only point in this article i actually agree with , so only 1/20 i agree with

his relationship with mickey wasn’t actually great

he wanted to, it’s obvious, but ian has his family and didnt want to abandon them again, i think part of him knew he would see mickey again because they always find eachother, he gave mickey all of his money and wanted mickey to have a good life

now the bi thing , legit all i think is that he doesnt hate bisexual people its just that the man he really liked slept with a woman and never expressed any heterosexual attraction so it probably just suprised him and pissed him off because caleb did cheat on ian

the hell is mystreet season 6??

(warning, long post ahead)

ok so before i start this

1) ive never posted shiiiit on tumblr before so watch me suffer, im just here to talk about stuff that my friends who dont know anything about aphmau have to listen to me rant about for hours on end

2) i havent seen mystreet in like years (except season 3, i watch that frequently since im laurance and shadow knight deprived) so please bear with me because i might be completely wrong on this lol. it’s just like, pointing out things i remember

3) im sure someones already talked about this but who cares

4) im gonna do this stupid thing where i just explain myself a bit at first, if you dont want to read that just skip to the part where you see “the actual thingy:” in bold and italics

5) mild disclaimer; i am completely aware that jessica is not a professional writer. i know that she did her best to appeal to her fans, and honestly, respect for that. while this post will come off as aggressive and probably look like hate, that’s not my intention in the slightest. it’s just... intense criticism. im sure y’all probably already know that, but yeah, just stating that anyways. i do believe that jess is doing her best, and in no way do i want to dismiss any hard work she’s done. that being said; prepare for a very strongly opinionated post.

ok here we go

one of the main reasons i stopped watching aphmau back in 2017 was the mess that was season 4. like, in the first few episodes of the emerald secret, i thought “woah!! this is kinda cool, im a sucker for mystery!” because of course i was, it was something new and something exciting. the only problem i had with it at the time was kim, but that’s just because i always found her annoying and out of place. i just didn’t understand why garroth dragged her along and honestly i still don’t to this day BUT, moving on.

anyways, as the season progressed, 13 year old me was of course just “:0!!” the entire time--that is, up until the reveal of the main villain. i remember watching the episode, seeing the reveal of ein, and then stopping. like, just for a quick break, but i was still just overwhelmingly disappointed. like, and this was the time when pdh was airing and ein just got made alpha (i think?) and i had really really liked eins character in pdh. either way, that really sucked and actually opened my eyes to a lot of things.

one of the main things bein’ the fact that this was supposed to be a slice of life kinda series that decided to take a turn to a more edgy kinda approach. which, i guess i regularly wouldnt mind? but seeing as mcd was kinda bein neglected at the time it just didnt sit right with me. BUT WHATEVER, point is i stopped watching mystreet all together at the end of season 4.

like, a whole year later my brother tells me that shit’s getting intense in season 5 + 6 of mystreet, and my brilliant self decided to give it a shot--but i refused to watch all of season 5, so i only stepped in when ein made an appearance. so whenever that was, that’s where i picked up because i didnt care enough to see

and y’know--i honestly didn’t hate it at first. in fact, i found it oddly cool. it wasn’t enough to get me into aphmau again, but it was enough to where i was intrigued. i dont know why, but i never watched the finale, so i didnt see the ending until just a few weeks ago--but back then, i thought it was neat. looking back on it however... im just so confused.

side note: only got back into aphmau this time around because of mcd. mainly because like, i adore the first season and the first half of the second season. and being nearly 18 now, im a lot more appreciative of plot and well-written characters n junk.

the actual thingy:

ok back on track. imma stop spilling out my story of how i got back into aphmau, and lets just skip to what rewatching mcd made me realize of season 6′s plot and shit:

-emmalyn. how the fuck does ghost even remotely exist? if she’s emmalyn as claimed, then why have we already seen emmalyn in the mystreet universe alive? look i get that creators can do whatever they want with their stories but at the same time please provide some sort of explanation good god. and maybe they did and i just havent seen it, so if there is one--let me know. but until that day imma just sit here confused as fuck

-ok so imma just be real, the whole ‘ultima’ thing is just... not great. in my opinion, anyways. like... i saw someone mention this in another post, but if this ultima stuff was like, a really big deal, why isnt it mentioned in mcd? though i suppose since its a curse of sorts, it could be later on past the time period in which mcd takes place--but even then, how did it manage to make its way into aaron’s family bloodline?

-WHY IS EVERYONE AT STARLIGHT ITS JUST SO CONVINIENT like what happened to this place being the most expensive shit on the planet or whatever, and how the gang happens to run into like, the werewolf trio and blaze and kai and guy and nate all of these people like god damn life doesnt WORK LIKE THAT

-im sorry but turning people into relics? thats... thats the best you could come up with? plus, like, how does that even work? in mcd it’s established that relics are separate entitles that choose their wielder, based on a ‘personal’ connection (being a descendent of a previous wielder) or if they’re a good match personality and (i think?) moral wise. so the whole turning-people-into-relics doesnt make much sense to be honest.

-irene really over here using her god powers to only keep her friends alive like god damn not a great god if you ask me

-can i talk about how incredibly predictable aphmaus death was? like i just kinda sat there waiting for it to happen and when it did i literally went “haha! wonder when she’ll be revived” because god forbid we actually kill off characters

-when aphmau + demon warlock fought in the irene dimension there was no passage of time whatsoever in the real world whiiiiiiiiich really bothers me because they fought in there for at least a few minutes

-speaking of aphmau and the demon warlocks fight does it bother anyone else that it had to be aaron who took over the fight?? like we get it hes the big protector blah blah blah but god damn it wouldve been cooler if aphmau had fought this battle as her. aaron fighting this battle was so underwhelming

-...love. like, thats the only thing thats needed to break out of a forever potion? love? LIKE YEAH, GOOD GUYS GOTTA WIN SOMEHOW, but its just so cliche and overdoneeee

-oh yeah and also when travis went bonkers and became the demon warlock or whatever, why’d he only take over katelyn and garroth?? like, zane had been influenced by the potions in the past as well? DONT GET ME WRONG--i do love some good brother edge, but uh, the demon warlock was just bein kinda a dumbass by not possessing zane too just sayin’

-can aaron please go to fucking jail for mass murder now like holy shit, he just got sent home on a fuckin boat. also why did blaze forgive him for killing him thats not even remotely realistic. then again, nothing in mystreet has ever been realistic when it comes to characters and motives and personalities, (cough katelyn being actually abusive and travis being an actual pervert) but yknow whatever

-katelyn and kawaii chan literally added nothing to the plot whatsoever. like lets be real, katelyn lost her personality the moment season 5 started and kawaii chan just kinda sits there :I

-ok im sorry this was bound to come up but cmon guys imagine laurances potential if he was in season 6 like god damn this is beyond maddening. AND YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A REALLY REALLY COOL PARRALLEL?? IF IT WAS LAURANCE WHO SNAPPED GARROTH OUT OF HIS MIND CONTROL THING, because it would mimic laurance’s speech to get garroth to snap out of his rage in season 1, episode 100 of minecraft diaries. like how fuckin rad would that have been? missed opportunity

-also?? why does kim/ghost know magicks?? like, if i remember correctly, emmalyn is a scholar--not someone who knew magicks. i mean, i guess research? study?? but its been established that knowing how magicks works =/= being able to use magicks. i dunno, just doesnt seem right i guess. maybe its explained, i wouldnt know (yes i know that makes me look like a dick leave me alone)

-melissa should have stayed dead. LIKE, NO, ITS NOT AS SIMPLE AS “haha it takes more than a few bullets to kill me”??? look ive got nothing wrong with melissa (cough lie cough) but yknow it would have just been cool a character... stay dead? for once? its just too fuckin cliche that shes alive god damn

-can i also just say the only good thing that came out of season 6 was travis’ dads sacrifice like damn that made me actually sad

-howww was lucinda turned into a relic. or yknow, anyone else? like im sure they explain it better in the actual show i just dont remember, but its just that easy? turning anyone into a relic? granted, a normal person wouldnt be able to produce a good relic, but idk man. IM JUST SAYING; that the only really powerful relics that aphmau should have been able to wield is the one that aaron + zane produced because shad relic and esmund relic moment. lucinda isnt even like, connected to a divine warrior. ALSO, another point, if its seriously that powerful of a relic getting one from just a magic user like lucinda, why go through the trouble? i mean i guess ofc youd want the “all powerful” one that the ultima produces but i mean damn whats the point

-ok this is just going to bother me but in one of the episodes (i think might have been in season 5 actually) where that like, guardian dude was chasing aphmau and zane and at one point they split up and the dude just chuckles at zane diverting paths and goes under his breath “youre not the important one here”, suggesting that aphmau somehow is? first of all, id argue that any ro’meave is significantly more important than aphmau was, especially not knowing much about her other than that shes with aaron. i might be missing some bits an pieces, but if i was that dude id forget about aphmau and go after zane

-killing off derek for shock factor sucked, and i know the moment was supposed to be really sad because like “oh :( aarons dad is sacrificing himself for his son” but lets be real dereks still was a shitty father and i dont think his reasons for doing what he did was very good at all

-less about plot or more like: why the absolute fuck did the gang bring kim along instead of, oh i dont know, a life-long friend? like, laurance or dante maybe?? im sure its explained, i never saw aphmaus year or most of season 5, but god DAMN id hate to be apart of this friend group AND GOD LIKE, imagine reconnecting with an old friend who ends up getting closer to your best friends and taking priority in their lives over you (cough laurance) like god damn lol

-im just going to preface this one with: i dont remember everything that’s happened, so if im wrong i apologize in advance--but (you actually can correct me if im wrong and please do) didnt like, irene reincarnate her friends in order to give them better lives? I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE, ITS JUST WHAT I REMEMBER--however, if im correct, then:

a. why the hell would she bring back someone like zane, or gene, or ivy, etc.

b. why the hell do they all have the same exact names? first and last? again, im aware that the whole mystreet+mcd tie wasn’t originally supposed to be there, but i dont think that means such a coincidence can be excused? its just a bit much if you ask me.

c. why the hell is the fact that (as much as i literally hate this) aaron is a decedent of shad being ignored? like, you’d think that something like this would be something thats actually important, or something the demon warlock couldve taken advantage of. or are we completely erasing every other connections to divine warriors besides aphmau + irene? because even if irene did reincarnate them or do whatever it is she did, does she even have the power to sever the connections between them and their ancestors? my guess is, no.

d. speaking of irene why on earth was aphmau able to talk to/see irene, they’re literally the same person are they not? did she like, fuckin reincarnate herself without actually doing it?? BUT--i will give it to them, the demon warlock did refer to aphmau as something along the lines of being “one of the 3 parts of her broken soul” or something like that. however, my point still remains. also what are the other two did i miss that or is it never explained

now; if irene in fact did not ‘reincarnate’ her friends then please ignore that little bit right there :)

but yes, those are a few of the problems i have with season 6 off the top of my head. i would go into like, season 4 and 5 more as well, but i honestly didnt feel like it. at some point i might go into other things, like how important laurance could have been to the plot of these later seasons, or HELL, even dante. i might also go into what could have made season 4, 5, and 6 actually good--maybe... a rewrite? perhaps? but im getting too far ahead of myself, so i just leave you with this for now.

and i know that as soon as i post this 15 more things are just going to pop into my head BUT im going to try and not edit this post because why stress myself with that even more

Loki is 14 au maker here, Loki actually looks 14. Like he's an actual kid here. My idea is during Thor 1 Loki still gets put in charge, and the warriors 4 are trying to get Thor back bc Loki said he didn't know how and he doesn't want the throne at all. Loki finds it easier to tell the warriors 4 about it bc they aren't family and they trust Thor.

My hc is that the destroyer sometimes acts of its own will, in response to the current kings emotions. So loki is terrified bc he just found out he's a jotunn and thinks thor is gonna kill him. The destroyer comes out automatically to destroy the threat.

Loki doesn't bring laufey in to asgard but the jotunns use the path they were originally showed to get in. Loki had gone to try diplomacy but laufey attacked him, heimdall brought Loki back and Loki had a breakdown.

Loki got back to the palace just in time to kill laufey and the jotunns that got in. Frigga gives him a hug but Thor is back. Thor thinks Loki planned all this and Loki sees him so angry that he runs. He tells heimdall to go and he sets the bifrist on jotunnheim, bc hes 14 and running on fear and adrenaline.

The birds is still broken and Loki still falls but instead of odin saying No Loki, Thor says "you didn't have to prove yourself loki" Loki gets teary and still lets go.

Thanos still finds him and tortures him, but he tries to make loki on of the black order. It doesn't work, but loki still is sent to earth. Loki puts on an illusion to make himself look older, and that works until he passes out in the back off the truck Clint and Selvig are driving away from the pegasus facility.

Loki doesnt even kill anyone, he just uses a spell to knock people unconscious.

Things go similarly, with Loki in Germany. Except Loki looks like a kid bc he can't keep the illusion up. Cap calls him kiddo and Tony does flip. "Youre a kid?" "Im over 1000 years old" "still a kid"

The avengers grab him and take him on the ship, but Thor barges in and grabs Loki. Thor immediately asks if he's ok, bc Thor does care abt Loki. Loki doesn't answer. Thor asks about the tesseract and what he's doing. Loki says he can't say. Thor tells him to come home. Loki says he doesn't have one. The great "im listening " line still happens bc its a crime to not have that.

Oh boy this is getting long, but things go the same up until Tony talks to him. Tony offers him a drink then is like Wait ur a kid nvm. Loki rolls his eyes and asks what Tony wants. Tony just wants to talk and asks him if he's doing this by himself, in a way that's very vague. Loki says he's not doing this bc he wants to, in a very extremely vague way.

Tony nods, and loki uses the sceptre to mind control him, but it doesn't work. Loki is confused and Tony makes a dirty joke, Loki grabs him and goes to throw him out the window, but Tony is. Taller than him and its hard to throw someone taller than you. He pushes him away and he falls through the window.

Loki gets thrown around by the hulk still, but instead of being imprisoned, Tony explains what he found out. Thor understands and leaves Loki in the avengers care while he talks with odin abt it. The avengers are a bit on edge for a lil but loki gets therapy.

Loki is brought back to asgard where he is held in the dungeons for a while until they can get his head checked out. Frigga does some magics and slowly gets Thanos' hooks out, Loki gets even more therapy, yay.

Thor TDW happens similarly, but loki isn't in jail. He's in his room, but his room is being guarded and he isn't allowed anywhere without an escort. Loki is v grumpy abt it. Loki sneaks out and is the one who finds frigga dead. Loki is allowed to go to the funeral and then he trashes his room in anguish. Thor talks to him and tells him to help.

Loki doesnt get slapped by Jane, but the warriors 4 still threaten him. Loki still gets impaled on svartalfheim, but like for real. His magic heals him enough for no death. He decides to leave entirely, and he goes to earth. He visits Bruce, who freaks out bc Loki is Bleeding, and loki stays with the avengers for a while. Thor comes back for age of ultron, Loki is there. A sappy Reunion. Happy ending? I need to work on this more fhbcvnnv

Humans are space Orcs, “Interrogation.”

Wrote this after my first day of work, so forgive me if there are any issues.

Admiral Vir sighed and tilted his head back to stare up at the ceiling overhead. “You can make me wait here all day, it isn’t going to change my story.” He leaned back further in his chair to the point where he balanced on two legs, “You want to know why?” He turned his head towards the mirror across the room, which he was in no small doubt, was a one way mirror. He allowed the chair legs to drop and slam against the floor, “BECAUSE I AM TELLING THE TRUTH.”

He sighed and slammed his head against the table with a sigh. The energy cuffs on his wrists hummed, buzzing slightly against his skin when he moved.

He groaned, “I’ve told you countless times. I am-being-framed.” With every word, he accentuated his statement by slamming his forehead against the metal of the desk. Not hard enough to hurt, but he was just so bored that maybe pain would be better than just sitting here.

He sighed when no one came and looked around at the small room, the single table, the one way mirror and the two metal chairs, his hands chained to the desk in front of him.

He groaned and slumped down in his chair. Folding his arms before him, he rested his head against his arms taking a deep breath and sighed. Well maybe he might fit in a nap while they were working, at least that wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of knowing he wasn’t enjoying this.

He was asleep within seven minutes.

“YOU BASTARDS. YOU MONGRELS. YOU HARRY SYCOPHANTS. IF YOU HURT A HAIR ON HIS HEAD, I SWEAR I WILL RUIN YOU. ADAM VIR IS INNOCENT I TELL YOU, INNOCENT.”

“Stop.”

“I WILL TEAR THIS PRECINCT DOWN BRICK BY BRICK.”

“Krill!”

“DID YOU HEAR ME YOU FUZZY PISSANTS.”

“Krill STOP!”

His ranting was cut off as Sunny clamped a hand over his mouth and dragged him away from the front steps of the Tesraki prescient, “What are you doing! This isn’t going to help Adam. If anything that is going to make it so much worse.’

Krill turned his head to look up at her, eyes narrowed, “Who are you and what did you do with Sunny.”

She frowned, “what do you mean.”

“Are you kidding me Sunny! Your battle partner is in there, and who knows what could happen to him . Who knows what is happening to him as we wpeek Whoever framed him had a lot of ower and that means they have the power to murder him on the inside.”

Sunny snarled, “Don’t you think I know that Krill! I can’t believe I am saying this, least of all to you, but we have to be rational! Charging in there weapons blazing is only going to get us hurt, thrown in jail or killed, and neither of those would be useful to Adam right now. We have to prove that he is innocent!”

“What more proof can we get that they won’t just reject out of hand. It doesnt matter that he was traveling with the two of us, or that his ship is full of aliens, or that he is the head of a drev clan. Something bigger is going on here Sunny, we have to do something even BIGGER to fight this.”

She frowned tapping her fingers lightly against the bottom of her chin.

Great drops or rain began to fall from the sky plunking down on the pavement with subtle thudding noises.

“We have to find irrefutable proof, something they cant argue with even if they tried.”

“Where do we start.”

“That list Adam gave us should be a good start.”

Krill sighed, “Fine, but there isn’t time to be nice about this. We can’t rely on the authorities. We have to do this our way.”

SLAM

Adam jerked awake, his head ringing as he sat up in his chair staring around the room and groggily trying to find the source of the noise. It didn’t take long before he found what he was looking for. The Detective stood over him, his jacket hanging lank and long draped around his shoulders and towards the floor.

On the table before him, there sat a large cream file, which had likely been the source of the noise.

Adam frowned and sat back in his seat.

“Really, a file. Is that supposed to intimidate me or something?”

The Detective sat across from him, “Do you need us to get you anything Admiral.”

“How about the key out of here.”

The man frowned, “So you fancy yourself a comedian.”

“No, I fancy myself a free man.” he would have crossed his arms if the cuffs didn’t get in the way.

“Are you always this resistive to authority.”

Adam snorted, “I’m in the fucking army asshat of course I’m not. I am resistive to assholes who falsely accuse me of something I didn’t do and then ignore my friends when they try to stick up for me.”

“The Drev and the Vrul?”

“Yes.”

“We are looking into them as we speak. We are sure to find their link to your plot soon.”

Adam sputtered, “Plot, what plot you daft dimwit.” he wrigged his fingers comically, “My dastardly plot to give hugs to all the aliens in the universe, or how about my evil scheme to steal cake from the shared company fridge. Oh what a fucking moster I am.”

“Where did you put the body parts?”

He stopped in his tracks, “What the hell are you talking about?”

“The body parts of the first Tesraki, where did you put them.”

Adam shook his head in disbelief, “Look Detective dumbass, I didn’t put the Tesraki’s body parts anywhere… do you want to know why?”

The detective raised an eyebrow and leaned in a bit as Adam motioned him closer.

“BECAUSE I WASN’T EVEN ON THE FUCKING PLANET!”

The man nearly lept out of his skin with the strength of Adam’s voice. Adam sat back in his seat, “Just look at my ship’s log. I was busy working in the Perseus spiral of the Milky way before I was called in here. There was no way I could have been involved.”

“I know, we have a ship log that says you were there.”

He frowned, “Than why try to get me to admit to something I didn’t do.”

The man shook his head, “I didn’t say you didn’t do it, I just said that your ship’s logs seem to state that you were off world during that time.”

Adam huffed in anger and indignation, “Are you suggesting that I doctored my own ship reports?”

“You are the admiral, you do have executive control over things like that.”

Adam sighed in frustration, “I can’t even believe you right now. Changing a SINGLE long would prove nothing. I would have to change hours and hours mabe even days of data. Looking on the ship, you will find collected specimens and photos and videos taken during the time of the killing.” He rattled his hands against the chains, “You are a pretty ass detective if this is the best you can do.”

The man frowned, clearly not very impressed.

“Did you ever stop to think about why you are even here? I CALLED YOU IN. Why the ever loving hell would I do that if i thought there was even a chance that you could come in and catch me. It’s stupid, and it doesn’t add up.”

“You aren’t doing anything to make yourself look better Admiral.”

“Because I shouldn’t have to!”

“I beg to differ.”

A bright light flicked on in the darkness.

The human cringed back against it his feet scraping on the floor along with the metal of the chair, which he was tied to.

“Krill I-”

“Shh Sunny,”

The human squinted past the light in confusion and concern as two shadows coalesced before him and his eyes grew used to the glare. He shifted back in his seat, eyes wide as the two aliens stared back at him, one of those big shiny Drev and those weird spider things he forgot the name of.

The little creature paced back and forth in front of him, ‘You will find it interesting to know how easy it was to find you. After we found your three thug friends on the list, surprise surprise, guess how delighted we were to learn you were all staying in the same room together…. And one of you was missing.”

The an hook his head staring at the scuttling legs of the little bug creature as he crawled past, “I have no idea what you are talking about.”

“Don’t play dumb with me.” The bug turned to look at him, and he was suddenly very disconcerted by the angry glower that covered the creature’s face, It was too human of an expression to belong on an alien.

“Wha, wh… I have no idea what you are talking about, I swear.”

The little bug leaned forward, as something shiny appeared in his hand, ‘Oh I think you do.”

“Is that a scalpel.” He squeaked out

“Yes, why yes it is. I am a surgeon by the way.” He glowered at the human, “And I know over 100 ways to.” His voice grew quiet, “disembowel yo, while keeping you alive.”

The man’s eyes widened in panic.

“Krill!” THe Drev hissed.

“Shut up, Sunny.” The Little bug crawled forward, until he was right up in the human’s face. Did you know when I was in medical school, I learned how to completely dissect the nervous system of a krevling. My record…. Ten minutes and twenty three seconds.”

The man turned to look at the Drev, who, surprisingly, out of the two of them seemed less crazy and violent.

She caught his eye, “Maybe you should do what he says. I don’t think he’s kidding.”

THe bug creature inflated his helium sack and rose into the air scalpel held out nonchalantly. He leaned in close quietly, “I hear humans taste like chicken.”

His mouth quivered, “I, I thought you bugs only ate plants.”

The alien smacked his lips together, or at least made the approximation of smacking his lips together, “I don’t know a light based diet hasn’t really been sustaining me lately. He leaned a little further in, “besides, I think sauteed lightly in butter with a couple of onions…. You might just manage to convert me to carnivorism.”

The man pushed back against the ground, metal scraping against concrete until his back was planted right against the wall, “I…. I don’t know what is wrong with you, but I swear….”

THe Drev placed a hand on the bug’s shoulder, “krill, seriously, don’t you think this is going a little too far.”

“This coming from you, Sunny.” He shrugged hr off, “I think I would like his toes first.”

The human took a deep breath staring down into the little creature’s prismatic orange eyes, crazy eyes, manic eyes.

Sunny, the Drev shook her head, “Look we don’t really want to hurt you, we just want to help our friend.”

“Toes.” The Vrul whispered

The look on the creature’s face was enough to have him loose his nerve completely, “OK OK fine, I will tell you what you want to know, just don’t. Just don’t touch my toes, OK. you Freak.”

*** “Dear lord in heaven above give me the strength not to smash my head through this table.”

“Are you sure you don’t want something to drink.”

“You know that whole trying to be my friend thing isn’t going to work. You called me xenophobic after all, which is the msot damned insulting thing I have ever been called. My best friend is an alien, my g….my gr-reatest allies are aliens. I was the one who DISCOVERED them. I am the leader of a Drev CLAN for crying out loud.”

“People do things they don’t like for power.”

“Were you dropped on your head as a child or were you just born stupid.”

The Detective glowered at him, “Name calling isnt going to help you here.”

“I demand a lawyer.”

The detective snarled.

He tired to cross his arms but only managed to tug against his jacket, “I demand a lawyer immediately, and until I get one, I am not saying another word to you.”

“Admiral Vir, there is no law on the Tesraki homeworld that says.”

“Twinkle twinkle little star-”

“That is really mature Admiral.”

“Wanna hit you with my car.”

“Admiral.”

“Toss you off a cliff so high!” “Admiral, stop that right now.”

“HOPE YOU BREAK YOUR NECK AND DIE”

The detective was seen storming out of the interrogation room not minutes later fuming with the sound of lyrics followed him down the hall, which didn’t stop until the door closed all the way.

It would remain to be seen who was going to break first.

Sunny stared at Krill, and Krill did his best to ignore Sunny as he paced back and forth over the ground.

“What the hell was that.”

“What was what.”

“What you just did in there.”

“Interrogation.”

“That guy nearly shat himself.”

Krill looked up at her with a very serious expression, “That is what I was hoping for.”

“Have you gone insane.”

“No, not at all besides, it worked didn’t it.”

Sunny grumbled in acknowledgement. She supposed he was right. The revelations they had received from the man as he cowered back against his chair begging Krill not to cut off his nose.

Someone had hired the four of them for sure. He was in charge of locating their targets while the other three men did their dirty work. Following that he was supposed to doctor some information given to him by his outside source, “I fixed the surveillance to make it look like the admiral was there. I have the doctored files in my computer, and I was supposed to bring them to my source tomorrow night so they could use it as evidence against him.’

“And who are your contacts.’

“I don’t know, I never saw their faces, or asked questions. I was just the guy who dropped off what they needed.”

“Than that means you can take us to this dropoff point.”

“No I…”

“Did you know it only takes a spoon and less than a pound of pressure to pop a human eye out of it’s socket.”

“FINE FINE ILL TAKE YOU. Just get this crazy freak away from me.”

Sunny had grabbed krill then and dragged him out of the room with a disapproving frown.

“What you are a drev you should love scaring the shit out of people.”

“I love beating the shit out of people krill, not threatening to eat their toes.”

He shrugged seeming very unconcerned about the whole thing, “Either way, we have our way in. As long as Adam can hang in there, we might be able to save him.”

I'm invested, I wanna know stuff, like; What was the interaction between Kiryu and Majima like after the reveal? How did Haruka find out? Was it because she lives with Kiryu or did Majima tey to keep her oblivious to it as long as he can because no.?

(Update: this got... WAY longer than I anticipated. So im putting it behind a readmore. sorry for the wall of text I got very passionate suddenly!!)

disclaimer: I have very little solid 'canon' established and 99% of this will be stuff I make up on the spot cause thats just how I do these things

So, in my head this all takes place after the events of the first game- Kiryu's been to jail, gets out, 10 billion yen drama ect. I think it would be peak drama if Majima accidentally let slip during the fight at Shangri-la that he isn't human, he got so hyped up on the idea of a 'fight to the death' with Kiryu (which, lets be honest, was probably a bit of suicidal ideation on his part because he wanted Kiryu to utterly destroy him) that he couldn't control himself and Kiryu gets an eyeful of claws and teeth and horns. But because things are so fucking manic during that point in the game, Kiryu deadass writes it off as a weird hallucination/'this might as well be happening' because he has WAY too much going on.

it's only after the games finished and Kiryu settles down, decides hes going to adopt Haruka and is trying to get his affairs in order when he's like. Holy Shit What Was Up With That.

Majima hasn't shown his face around him since because he becomes convinced Kiryu seeing that means hes going to despise him and/or try to kill him so he crawls into his hole to mope about it and Kiryu has to genuinely jump through hoops trying to find where he is. He was concerned! Eventually he gets in touch with Nishida who is equally worried about his boss (he knows Majima's secret but is sworn not to tell anyone) so he just. quietly tells Kiryu where Majima is living right now and prays it wont come back to bite him in the ass

He goes, Majima initially attempts to be like 'haha you hit your head pretty hard down there-' and write it off like that but Kiryu is nothing if not persistent and eventually he has a little meltdown about it and finally just shows him. Majimas been in a super weird mental state since Shimano died and hes just like, at his breaking point, so he figures 'fuck it, if Kiryu hates me, whatever' at that point

OBVIOUSLY Kiryu doesnt, hes just like. dude are you okay

they have a long ass talk about it and what happened and it all sort of culminates in an awkward love confession because turns out wow you two REALLY care about each other, huh!

Majima also shares that hes only really still in the yakuza because he feels like its the only place he belongs, that a monster like him doesn't deserve anything resembling a normal life. its that conversation that starts him on the path to realizing he's not happy there tbh

Im SEVERELY rambling at this point but. after a lot of emotional catharsis between these two they promise to try to make something work. majima considers leaving the yakuza, and kiryus going to make a home with haruka. and while hes not ready to join them properly, just yet, he's... thinking about it. in the meantime, he's heard some cool stuff about construction as a business, and he's lookin' into it.

they kept it from Haruka for a while, mostly because Majima is super not comfortable showing people. He didnt spend a lot of time around her because he still felt guilty about the kidnapping thing, but eventually Kiryu pushes him to try to apologize properly and make amends. Haruka is obviously suspicious of him but, I think shes got a good judge of character when it comes to if someones being earnest, and its clear Majima wasn't acting of his own volition. (She blackmails him for lots of ice cream as an apology.)

Eventually she picks up on the fact they're hiding *something* because of how like, furtive Majima becomes when he stays with Kiryu and how he's almost never actually around, especially since he loves being the center of attention otherwise. So they brace themselves for it all to come crashing down when they tell her.

It honestly... goes fine. Maybe its just cause she's a kid and was way more willing to believe monsters exist, but it's not quite the 100% world-shaking revelation. It does set them back a bit and there's a lot of convincing that 'not all monsters are evil', but eventually she settles on. 'he's not scary. he's just kind of weird.' and you know what? majima will 100% take that.

(also she thinks its funny how he purrs when you touch his ears a certain way. he's like a big weird puppy.)

okay goddamn this post got long enough as is but. thank you again for the interest I have... so many words in my brain about this. Ideally id love to write a proper fic but im really not great at structured writing like that- it takes a helluva lot of a work compared to just infodumping into a big nightmare post like this. One Day.

I mad appreciate any and all interest though! Like, at its heart this is a hurt/comfort kinda au, and my end-goal is for Majima to realize being a monster doesn't mean he doesn't get to be happy or that he doesn't deserve to be treated like a human. it is vitally important to me that these two old sad men be happy together and build a better life lmao

I’ll answer not just Jen’s question, but generally thoughts surrounding D and Rose’s relationship!! It’s gonna be long because I think about this a WHOOOOOOLE lot, and I seriously mean a whole lot,,, so read ahead!

btw, if you think Rose is a bad person and D hates him, that’s where you’re mistaken! IT’S MY STORY MY HEADCANONS SO IF U DONT WANNA READ THIS THEN DONT BRO HJASGJHASHJ

PRE-ETERNATUS, CHALLENGER ARC

Ive mentioned before, but D and the chairman had a fairly good relationship!!

In-game, rose is very interested in the player and talks to you a lot, so honestly not much changes here

D, in his challenger phase, is forcibly very loud and flamboyant. being overly animated and confident, he’s able to keep up with rose who likes to chat and banter with him

When d talks to people, he KNOWS he’s being over-the-top, which is why he feels very awkward doing it (when people point it out, it makes it painfully awkward and embarrassing for them. Point in case: bede and Marnie!)

Rose finds him a very interesting trainer and observes D a lot. Its not hard to notice how hard he’s trying, but rose doesn’t point this out and genuinely moves along with what D’s vibes are as to not make him feel any more humiliated

D is aware that Rose is playing along with his act, and thanks to this it really builds up trust like!! Oh the chairman isn’t making fun of me and genuinely finds me interesting and strong!!!! the chairman!! What a morale boost!!!!!!

Again, its genuinely (funny and) awkward when D is being his over-the-top animated self, and its easy to point this out (which most people do, from his rivals to other trainers, to even gym leaders) but the only people who dont actively point it out AND act along would be his mom, hop, Leon, and rose!

in addition, D has a pretty high-pitched voice so its easy to tell he’s trans?? He was worried he was going to be misgendered by such an all-important person like the chairman, but was surprised when rose immediately was just comfortable with calling him a “young man”

Another cute trivia thing during this stage was that they both are wearing shades for their “incognito mode” and D even gives the chairman some fashion tips for the next time he goes out!

It actually pisses off bede with how much rose and d talk;;;;;; def one of the reasons why d and bede fight hhhh

The part of the plot where they head to rose tower, D was actually very against it in the beginning, saying that he could actually just try and call up the chairman if he wanted to! He tries and tries, but then starts to panic once he does in fact realise that something isnt right

Even after storming thru rose tower and defeating oleana, d eVEN TRIES TO INVITE ROSE TO THEIR DINNER (MY BOY IS THINKIN: A DINNER WITH HIS FAV PPL!! HOP, LEON, AND ROSE!! the only one missing would be his mom) ……….but r-rose dismisses it with a smile, saying maybe next time…………..

D is a meek, insecure person who is easily broken down, so he really needs a lot of support to keep moving sO JUST IMAGINE this baby boy who puts trust in someone suddenly goes batshit and you have to defeat them with ur own hands????? Wowza.

POST-ETERNATUS, NEWLY APPOINTED CHAMPION

OH BOY EVERYONE KNOWS HOW THIS FUCKIN GOES IF THEY REMEMBER MY FIRST POSTS JHASGJHHJAS

Ive already shown this via an illustration + a short Drabble, but its only after the eternatus battle that their father-son relationship is revealed

The game really doesnt show how serious the eternatus battle was, but for me: Leon was hospitalised for quite some time and wasn’t allowed to battle D until he healed up. At the same time, this gave D a lot of time to think about wHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED

I dont mention it, but this is where his gym leader au starts off from the canon timeline!! At this point, D is calling his mom or talking to hop or just locking himself up and is just generally in a panicked state where he feels like dropping out of the challenge, feeling overwhelmed with what just happened

ANYWAY IM HERE TO TALK ABT ROSE AND D but lets just say his Pokemon convince him to continue!!

at the same time of his win, gossip went around quick and not only is D now very popular for suddenly defeating the unbeatable champion Leon, but is actually the “villainous” chairman rose’s son!??!?!?!??!!

POOR SON BOY IS OVERWHELMED ONCE MORE, HELP HIM.

He actually escapes to the isle of armour + crown tundra as a way to give him time to think about this more (isle of armour: personal time for himself to think alone, crown tundra: chance to spend time with relatives he didn’t know he had)

OK GENUINE RELATIONSHIP ANALYZATION TIME:

After becoming champion, he really didnt go see rose at all, feeling a plenty mix of frustration, sadness, anger, betrayal, but!! his feelings dont simply surround the “oh the adult I trusted was actually bad and lied to me“ or “wtf hes the dad who wasn’t there for me and is the reason why mom is alone how dare he” IT REALLY WAS A MIX OF BOTH HGHHGHH

But its BECAUSE he was close to him in the first place that he knows rose wasn’t just….straight up a bad person or a villain

The important part here was that rose and D were close during the challenger part, and our lad had a lot of time to think about how he was simply a good, misguided man

rose is very passionate about the things he cares about, to the point of doing anything and everything for them (ex. Awakening eternatus for Galar’s sake to the point of accidentally getting darkest day, or even working hard for Miriam’s sake to the point of accidentally never being there for her anymore)

Yeah, d talked to a whole lot of people to think this over. He learned what happened between rose and his mom while talking to her, and D also learned what happened between peony and rose to further understand what’s up!!

In the process, I like to think both Miriam and peony dont hate rose! D was also an important factor in helping the both of them realise and clear up a few things, and at least, in their minds, stay on good terms with rose

During both DLC arcs, D is silent at first but slowly n surely starts sending small letters to Rose :’))

YAY ACTUAL INTERACTION????

After a lot of thought on his self-journey, its safe to say that D had felt a lot more comfortable, finally talking to rose after the galarian star tournament arc !!

Ive mentioned before, but its not like D has to start from scratch since they had a good relationship as challenger and chairman beforehand anyway

D wants a dad! He does want to meet his dad, and at the same time rose regrets not making time for his lover and future family, so I’d say after pushing away the initial negative awkwardness they do both have the same, genuine goal in mind to talk to each other and build a good relationship with each other!!!!!!

Ive also said before but like ONE OF D’S FEARS IS…..”WHAT IF I MEET MY DAD AND HES TRANSPHOBIC” YKNO???? So knowing that rose already thinks hes already perfect in his eyes, IT REALLY DOES WONDERS TO A YOUNG BOY YKN O ?? ? ? ? ??

Uhhhhh honestly I really dont know how jail works and shit sO LETS JUST SAY D VISITS REGULARLY IF HES NOT BUSY WITH CHAMPION DUTIES!!!

Also I have nO idea what oleana means by “WHERE IS CHAIRMAN ROSE” cos like….iSNT HE JUST VIBIN IN JAIL??????? Lets just say he is sdghjjhsdhj

TL;DR

D had a lot, and I mean A LOT, of time to think about Rose. He does not have any ill intentions or feelings towards him, and the two have a hopeful, slowly budding father-and-son relationship.

Madness, Atonement and Love

Content Warning: Yakuza 0 to LaD spoilers Content Warning: i jump between Yakuza 0 and 4 plot remember that there is a time difference between the events

Majima is the best way to explain yakuza, its very funny one minute, hahaha funny face man does break dancing as a fighting style, and the next moment he is face with the decision to either kill an innocent woman to get back to the world he has been dying to live in again or let her live and live a life of hiding and protecting her from those that set you out to kill here. Majima has so many layers, that are all centred around one core theme, his sworn brother Taiga Saejima or his kyoudai. Majima on his own is amazing but he gets better when he is whole...

Saejima is hands down one of my fav characters in yakuza, his arc throughout the games is just brilliant but i especially like his first game, at first you think he is a cold no nonsense killer convicted for killing 18 people making him a legend in the yakuza world (and they say yakuza is a silly game ahaha... they dont know shit) many years after the events of yakuza 0 Saejima breaks out with his new friend Hamazaki (who i may write a blog post later) once he is out Hamazaki is shot and we presume he is dead. now Saejima is on the run to look for his kyoudai for answers, he may have to kill majima or maybe he doesnt...

AAAAAA man Makoto is so interesting, a blind woman who falls for a Yakuza, a yakuza she doesnt know the name of. he is this mysterious protector figure who always looks out for here and the people around her to the best of his ability. to her she is not the yakuza with the tattoo on his back, instead he is him, simply a man she loves, she knows that he is a man that is there to protect her from something, something bigger than the both of them, a yakuza war over a bit of land... land that is owned by none other than Makimura Makoto.

Jumping back to Majima for a moment, his chemistry with Makoto (the woman he is meant to kill) is brilliant, at first i thought it was a protective fatherly thing, but slowly it became obvious it was a... ahem thing... yeah slowly he is falling in love while this woman has never seen his face or heard his name bc she was traumatised to the point of mental blindless. as they fall in love it becomes clearer and clearer that the lives they must live are very different. bc of the this and the fact that Makoto gets shot by the Tojo Clan for (yakuza 0 plot reasons) Majima goes fucking insane, instead of this calm and collected character we met in The Grand we get this fucking love sick man (heh reminded me of BlackPink but i digress) who just wants to avenge the only one who he truly loved (sorta yakuza 5)... and this is the birth of The Mad Dog of Shimano. man the scenes leading up to his break made me so angry i was fully for Majima going mad dog on the cunts, it felt so good beating the shit out of some of them in the finale and it felt bittersweet for some... man Awano, but thats a talk for another day.

Jumping back to Saejima, after breaking out he washes ashore of a small island nation by the name of Okinawa, fans of the series know this place as the home of Kiryu and his orphanage. soon someone stumbles upon Saejima and takes him in, the person is of course Haruka Sawamura (the daughter of Kiryu). Saejima regains his consciousness and chats for a bit with Haruka, but then ummm... yeah ummm... i dont really want to type out what happened next, so lets just say that Saejima hasnt seen a woman in a long time (jesus i hate this scene and i am not defending it i am just trying to put it as nicely as possible). soon, in comes Kiryu who very quickly sees what happened and and realises who Saejima is, bc who wouldnt, but as they get to talking Saejima makes up a fake name and Kiryu goes along with it. blah blah storyy Majima sadness

AAAAAAAANND they fight. Kiryu fights in yakuza games (where you fight against him) always put the fear of a thousand suns inside you, they are so good at making you be like "OH SHIT i know that move" and then "Oh god i dont know that move what the fuck Kiryu a fucking beast" the fight ends and Saejima "wins" bc before he can finish Kiryu off Haruka comes in and has to be the voice of logic and reason, all things that sissies worry about, and she stops the fight...

now skipping way way way ahead to going to meet Majima you go to see him fight his lackies and then he comes down from the stairs, and for a man that rarely ever emotes you can see how happy Saejima is even through his tough face. Majima and Saejima walk to the batting cages for their fight, they talk about why Saejima is there and what is going to happen, its clear Majima isnt gonna go down without kicking, bc in his mind it would be disrespectful to Saejima if he didnt give him a show, in any case, it could be Majima's last.

its so amazing doing this fight, bc its been built up since fucking yakuza 0 and when you do it you are just like "YEAAHHHH HIT HIM HARDER WOOOOOO" and when its over you are brought back to the earth and you have to think, at what cost? this reuniting scene is one of the best, its so sad and so exciting, all you can think leading up to it is how it went for Kiryu and Nishikiyama, its just very well done.

The 2 chat for a bit and Saejima asks about the eyepatch Majima explains why he didnt show when they where supposed to do the hit, the very same hit that landed Saejima in jail. the reason being he was taken hostage by one of the family heads, and he explains that bc he gave them such hell the only way to shut him up was to take one of his eyes, Saejima laughs, now its clear, the kyoudais are back together and stronger than ever.

it is very very clear to me that Saejima and Majima are 2 parts of a greater whole, there is no Majima without Saejima and there is not Saejima without Majima. its beautiful how the insanity of Majima and the stoicism of Saejima mix so well, i think its beautifully shown in the Yakuza LaD scene when they do their attack, that gif is just brilliant at showing how they compliment each other haha. (sorry couldnt find the gif)

Majima and Saejima show us some people are worth it and even if they are worth it, sometimes the best call is to let them go, i of course have to finish what i started. awhile after Majima takes out the Tojo Clan, he goes on a walk, finally free from everything... and he sees her, there she is happy and she looks him dead in the eye (NO THE PUNS TODAY AAAAAAA) and doesnt see him for the protector she once did when she was blind, now seeing him as a flashy yakuza with a tattoo on his back, Majima doesnt speak knowing she would recognise the voice. soon, a man who looks like her boyfriend comes and says "Hey is this man worrying you" and in one swift move Majima takes him and talk to him heart to heart, asking "do you love her" and "will you look after her", the boyfriend is very confused and a bit scared, after all a yakuza with one eye is grabbing him talking in a very scary tone. the man answers yes and Majima walks away into the crowd, Makoto trails him with her eyes until there is nothing to see and she goes on with her life....

yeah sometimes when you love someone so much, the only okay thing to do is to let them go bc you know you would only bring them more pain if you stayed together... in a way, it would be selfish, robbing them of a normal life. this is exactly how Majima at this point sees it, and i respect him for it, maybe in the future they will meet again, and maybe just MAYBE, they will finally get proper closure that they deserve, but until then i will say goodbye and thanks for taking time out of your life to read my stupid little essay
