i love that even with feng xin being the himbo he is, in every iteration i’ve seen of fengqing he is always the one to confess/do anything about his feelings

like does he only realize them after like years? yes but at least he acts on them fast

mu qing in the other hand is the least emotionally secure character i’ve ever seen

he’s emotionally intelligent enough to realize his own feelings (and thus suffer from The Knowing), but he’s SO emotionally stunted that i truly believe if it were up to him nothing would happen ever
