haven't caught up on the vods yet, read any good patch notes/eulas lately?
The latest "Warframe" update is very cool. They added a cool headless horsewoman & they gave pirate grandpa a new hip. Dogs can't die anymore. Dogs can produce shadow clones now. Barrels are the most dangerous threat to anything alive.

Ghoul Squad: Upgraded
Hey, everyone! Sparky, here. I'm happy to announce that Ghoul Squad is getting a reboot. Some stuff will still be the same.
Alya = Mummy
Alix = Werewolf
Rose = Frankenstein
Juleka = Vampire
Mylene = Phantom of the Opera.
However, Marinette will not be a normal witch and Kagami is not a ghost. Here's the new additions to the squad.
Marinette = Grim Reaper
Chloe = Wicked Witch (Though she is on the side of good)
Sabrina = Invisible Woman
Lila = Demon
Kagami = Headless Horsewoman
Ondine = Creature from the Black Lagoon!
Lila and Chloe are good guys like everyone else, and we still have the teachers (and Giselle as the witches) and Adrien still becomes a Halloween themed hero albeit a Scarecrow. However this time, more boys are helping the Ghoul Squad.
Marc = Gargoyle/Human Hybrid
Ivan = King Kong/Human Hybrid
Kim = Godzilla/Human Hybrid
Max = Martian
Nathaniel = Mothra/Human Hybrid
Nino = Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde Hybrid
Jesse = Son of La Llorona
Stay tuned for more details! @artzychic27 @msweebyness

How would the RO react to MC being a Dullahan or Headless horseman/woman (since sometimes there where headless horsewoman) and they find out by accidentally (for S trying to hit their sibling) hitting MC in the face with a rockfilled snowball or by accidentally making MC fall down a flight of stairs by scaring them sending their head flying which they catch.
(The neck is their weakness) in fiction dullahan's sometimes can be made by killing someone mostly by decapitation and bringing them back to life to serve as undead slaves (if they used magic instead of killing the person to turn them into one they won't be undead) for a rogue mage born.
Oh, you should’ve asked this on Halloween! This was such a fun ask ^^
S: To be completely honest, when S threw the snowball solidly at Erica, who was hiding behind you, neither of them expected your head to come off upon impact. A lengthy silence ensues. Everyone in the guild freezes, and a few elders rapidly piece things together. They attempt to calm everyone down. However, S and Erica, they start screaming in horror and shock as your body begins to move, reaching for your head. To your pain, Erica's initial reaction is to kick your head away, while S is frantically trying to figure out what to do.
When the chaos subsides hours later, and you calmly recount what happened and why, S feels less guilty for knocking your head off your shoulders. While most elders aren’t acquainted with your kind, they are familiar with a few traits of headless individuals. Interestingly, many express curiosity and a desire to learn more. It doesn’t take long for you to become popular amongst the guild.
M: Dawn quietly approached you from behind, wearing a mischievous grin as you descended the stairs. Suddenly, she let out a loud roar, slamming her feet, and reveling in your startled scream. M, already aware of their daughter's mischief, stood at the bottom of the stairs, ready to scold her and help you. However, the situation took an unexpected turn as your head flew into their hands.
A prolonged silence ensues. Dawn's expression falls…mirroring your head in an oddly humorous manner. M immediately drops you. It takes a moment for everyone to regain their composure and for you to straighten your head. However, when a calm does arrive, M remains completely calm, even as their daughter freaks out beside them. “Does it always do that? Do you have to wear a bow around it? Oh! Can you turn your head around fully like an owl?!”
B: They thought they had you all figured out. When B throws a solid snowball directly at your face and bursts into laughter, it takes a moment for them to compose themselves. As they sit up and point a finger at you, their cackling abruptly stops. Your head... is on the ground. Their left eye twitches, and they slowly start to scream in horror.
It takes about four attempts for you to calm them down as they urgently try to put your head back in place. Once they do, B demands you explain yourself, and you do…for the next few hours. B reacts dramatically, appearing traumatized when you finish speaking. However, they quickly get over it in the following months. “Don't rush me! I mean, seriously, your head came off! I’m scarred for life.”
“Oh, hush. You’re being a pain.”

Tennocon 2023 has left me, emotionally speaking, ROCK FUCKING SOLID.
They’ve made a headless horsewoman ‘Frame. I almost hope she’s not meta because if she is god fucking damn it I just got into Citrine I feel like… DE decided to target me specifically with Dagath. On a more fun note we finally have a Warframe with a name that starts with D! Now we just need J, Q, and U and we’ll have a Warframe for the whole alphabet!
Warframe 1999, which I hate that I cannot describe in a way that sounds good because watching the preview I felt so fucking goddamned hyped. Closest I can get is to say it seems to be bridging Warframe and DarkSector, aesthetic wise.
The next Warframe update (Whispers in the Walls) has Loid lore, and a really good new Void Faction, the Murmer, and the reveal that apparently at least one Orokin used CRT Monitors!

I’ve been listening to Undead Ahead 2 by Motionless in White and it’s put me in mind of a Sleepy Hollow/Headless Horseman Imodna AU
We’re going with a similar vibe to the ‘99 movie. Laudna is a girl killed and raised by Delilah, who removes her head as a means to control her and send her after her enemies, letting her keep control of the village.
Imogen is a newcomer to town, perhaps seeking work in the stables. She places little stock in the superstitions of the valley, especially the frankly ridiculous legend of the “Headless Horsewoman.” She therefore feels at ease taking a ride at dusk, admiring the sunset.
That is, until she hears the pounding of hooves behind her, and turns to find a black horse galloping toward her, carrying the twisted, gaunt form of a woman - her neck ending in a bloody, ragged stump.
Imogen kicks her horse into a sprint. Dear gods, the legend is real. The bridge. She has to make for the bridge - the villagers said she would be safe if she crossed. As the Headless Horsewoman gives chase, Imogen hears a terrible shriek - the spirit must be sent from the hells, from the god-forsaken sound of its scream. But - it has no mouth, how can it...?
Knocked slightly from her terror, Imogen realizes the sound is not in her ears, but her mind. And now that she’s paying attention, she can sense the emotion of it. It’s a wordless wail, but she can hear within it pain, and fear, guilt and agony and crushing despair. She looks over her shoulder, and as the Horsewoman stretches a skeletal hand towards her, Imogen sees it not as an attempt at attack, but as a plea for help.
Then her horse is clattering over the bridge, and the Horsewoman wheels, plunging into the fog that has crept behind her. Abruptly, Imogen can no longer hear her scream.
After this, Imogen throws herself into seeking the truth behind the legend, and finding the girl within the spirit.

Sekibanki:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Top art by Rihito
Sekibanki is a rokurokubi, which is a youkai that typically manifests as a woman who stretches her neck out and bends it around. Sekibanki can do that, but she can also detatch it completely and have it fly around!
Sekibanki lives in the Human Village in disguise. That's the purpose of her big cowel. You see, there's a big mark on her neck that shows where her head detaches, so she needs to keep that a secret.
She's fought at a canal near the village as the 2nd boss of Double Dealing Character.
In contrast to her fellow Grassroots Youkai Movement members, Sekibanki is prideful and cynical. She was there during the religious wars of Hopeless Masquerade, but correctly judged them as nothing but a greedy fad. That said, she does have a fun-loving side, and she often stretches her neck out as long as she possibly can just to impress people.
In addition to detaching her head, she also can use laser eye beams. She can even split her head into several copies, becoming a one-woman fighter squadron! Her neck stretching is represented by a big red energy stream between her head and neck, so it hurts you if you touch it. Her head can chase you all around like this without ever needing to retract. Fanart of her tends to have her surrounded by blue fire, but she doesn't actually use any in canon.
Sekibanki's name means "red barbarian". Her boss theme is called "Dulluhan Under the Willows" but she isn't a Headless Horsewoman. That said, all the Grassroots Youkai Movement members can be said to have that blend of Western and Eastern folklore.

I only really have some for the grandkids at the moment and maybe felix and agustin
Luisa:Gargoyle
Isabella:Druid
Mirabel:I was thinking along the lines of maybe a witch or even a siren since she is always singing
Dolores:i did something with her amd made her a dulluhan or better known as a headless horseman or horsewoman
Camilo:oh now this one was tricky since not many monsters have shapeshifting abilities so i went with one known for being tricksters and made him a cheshire cat like creature until i find a good one for him
Antonio:werewolf pup
Augustin:Zombie (look imagine zombie agustin being so clumsy that he always is losing a part of himself)
Felix:This man gives off the emergy that he would be a bigfoot to me
(Cursed Encanto Au)
VERY COOL‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
I think a siren would be better, she definitely sings the most out of her entire family <333 Plus they already have a magic user, which is Isabela, so it evens out. ALSO??? IM A SUCKER FOR HEADLESS HORSEFOLK⁉️⁉️ I love them all <33
Poor Agustín, also losing himself <\3
