So the first week of ‘home schooling’ was a roller coaster. Didn’t help I started off the week still feeling a bit unwell and had to relearn long-forgotten math concepts to get two of my kids through their assignments.
Just when I thought I was quite possibly over whatever I had, I moved the wrong way and pulled a muscle in my back/shoulder area. -sigh-
To add to it all, there have been more than a few new coronavirus cases within an hour’s drive of here, and that combined with the school closures, and business closures, have created their own level of anxiety on top of the anxiety I’m already dealing with. I had a few spells where I felt overwhelmed, and then I learned that our Governor is doing daily pep talk therapy session updates every afternoon at 5pm. I may be just distracting myself, and it doesn’t get rid of all of my stress and anxiety, but listening to Andy Beshear give updates and assure everyone that “we’re going to get through this together,” is something I really need right now.
