some cute does with bigass floppy ears / very sweet waitress who called me "hon" and put the most tasty looking crepes on my table / a pair of hawks divebombing a golden eagle / a kite (the bird) / a flock of magpies / some GORGEOUS scenery / a rainbow / lovely rain sprinklings / MORE gorgeous scenery, i mean what the fuck / fields of purple/orange/red tipped bushes / a meadow of buttercup-yellow very tall grass, in which many picturesque trees stood / lots of fluffy, adorable, tasty cows / a large herd of likely-feral horses with a wonderful variety of patterns & colors / the fluffiest husky ever / the juxtaposition of cold wind through an open window + warm sunlight / the most stunning snow-coated mountain of whites and blues in the sun, wreathed in clouds / no seriously some really fucking Gorgeous scenery, i was near tears with some of it

I have the same philosophy towards the sharing of ideas in fandom spaces no matter the medium or craft, which is yes!! go!! and it's so much nicer when you cite your source or inspiration. It's like a nod. A handshake. We are playing with the same dolls and I liked your idea enough I want to play with it too. I love having friends to play in the sandbox with. i have two aus im not doing anything with so free game

First, au where Jamil is dead. he died years ago due to poison in Kalims food. Kalimm never accepted Jamils death and halucinates that he is still alive. whenever he talks with Jamil, its just his own delusions, saying whatever he thought Jamil would say, its his own common sense and stuff but it comes in Jamils voice and thats that. Everyone just lets it happen or else he will have a huge fit. he overblots in chapter 4 since, maybe someone got fed up with this nonsense, and rubbed it in Kalims face that Jamil is dead because of him. it hits like a brick and he overblots because he just cant do it. if his best friend died because of him, how could he possibly lead a whole dorm? (im thinking like, a grief induced schizophrenia thing but i dont know much about schizophrenia and i dont want to stereotype or demonize it or anything. is that even a thing, grief induced schizophrenia?)

Second, i call this one the bird family au. its just a mix of that one post about manga Yuu looking like Neiges gay sister and a comic i saw about Neige being Crowleys son. so im mixing it and saying that Crowley is father to both of them. Theyre twins or close on age but somehow Yuu ended up in the non magic world (not clear how but as i type im thinking like the portal that sent Adora to Etheira). in grief Crowley gave Neige to the dwarves *is that right? what is his relation to them?). 16 or so many years later, Yuu is brought back home by the dark mirror.

Full moon in the sky, owl hooting. Nightshade bursts into frame with a screech, holding the human in their talons.

They fly down to a roof top, the human making noises and saying "OH! Put me down, put me down!". Nightshade transforms into bot mode, parts of their helm folded inwards, and covering their lower face with a mask like plating. They lean into the light and unfurl their plating.

The human has a bob with bangs and a blue streak, and wears glasses, and is hiding behind a held up bag, afraid. The bag has rainbow handles, and several ennamel pins, including one that says "She/they". 

Nightshade tilts their head: Oooh! I like your pins! [The human looks confused, Nightshade smiles] I am Nightshade, my pronouns are they/them!

She smiles cautiously and lowers their bag: Thanks, I'm Sam. [They approach Nightshade] I'm... She/they... but you already know that. [Laughs awkwardly]

She walks to the edge rooftop, looking over the city. Nightshade leaps ontop of the water tower. Eyes big with awe, camera rotating around them as they take in sight: Wow, what an amazing city.

They leap down the half wall Sam stands infront of, balacing and walking across it. Sam watches this: I'm sorry for how I reacted, its just. [They lean again the wall, looking down to the city] Sometimes the world can be... a scary place. It's hard to know who's dangerous or not.

Nightshade sits, legs dangling of the roof, humms: That's true, though disapointing. [Looks down sadly]

Sam, encouragingly: Hey... its okay! I know I'm safe when I'm with my friends... or other non binary people [She gestures to Nightshade]

Nightshade, looking interest: Non binary?

Sam: People who aren't female or male. [Nightshade looks away. Sam off screen] Awww I'm sorry... I shouldn't have assumed.

Nightshade smiles, joy in their voice: I always knew my pronouns felt right but. [Flicks eyes ups, looks down. Cut to wide] What a wonderful word, for a wonderful experience.

Common striped woodlouse I saw in the woods this morning!

#i help out with the others that manage the wood #we do it once a month :3 #this month we were clearing some bramble to give the rest of the ground cover some room to breathe #and we use what we pull up to build 'dead hedges' along the paths/to stop people and dogs trampling the new sprouts #they're basically just a few vertical sticks with the rest of it woven between them #and they're fantastic habitats for bugs and foraging spots for birds #this lil guy was on a log near the base if one we'd been working on #i got new gardening gloves also and i was very thankful since my old ones let all the thorns through 😭 #but these ones are great! #anywhom heres this guy #mine #invertebrates #woodlouse #isopod #common striped woodlouse
