~Witchy Haul~
Some things I gott the other dayyy......I went overboard but I'm happy sooo I guess my Bill's can wait....>_<
Tumblr media
Soooo before we startttt I am VERY new to the craft......also I live in a very Christian area so we dont have metaphysical shopssss. Everything I got is from Amazon, Walmart and/or Five Below. >_<
Tarot Cards!
Tumblr media
This is the 'Moden Witch Tarot Deck' by Lisa Sterle. I was so excited for them to come inn. I really like that the images are so inclusive. It's a good starter deck, or a deck for teens. The cardstock is very stiff so it makes shuffling kinda hard but I can tell they're going to last a long tiimmeee. The one down side is that the cards are too big for me to hold in my had comfortably but if you like big cards or you have big hads then its wont be a problem...>_<
Tumblr media
This is the 'Kawaii Tarot' deck by Diana Lopez. Its suppppeeerrr cutteee so pink I lovvveee itttt >_<. Its a BIG package with a big explanation book. The cards themselves are very small they fit right in my handdd. The images are sooo cute and very minimalistic. The color choice is also very calming. This would be the perfect beginner deck and a good deck to use for therapeutic reads. The only down fall is that the cards are separated into 2 cardboard boxes and they're hard to close and you have to separate that card to fit in both boxes (it takes a good 5 minutes to put them back each time). I wouldn't recommend this for beginners because it does have reversed card meaning, the meanings are in the book but o would recommend them to intermediate tarot readers.
Candles
Tumblr media
It's a little boring but I bought some tea candles, votive candles and 1 gray tapered candle. I got the tea light as a recommendation because they burn out really quickly so they are good for quick spells and protection for readings and medications but I really dont like them. They have a tendency to spill everywhere, I'm TOO clumsy for them!! The votive candles are my fave cuz they are bigger they last little longer and (if you put them in the right candle holder) they dont spill overrrr!! I realize that I could put my tea candles ina. Candle holder, however, the metal holder would still be an issue for me cuz I would feel bad throwing them away but what would I be able to use them for??? Maybe offering dishes??? I got the gray taper because I needed a black candle but they literally didnt have ANY at any of the places I went TT so I'll be on the hunt. I dont even have a proper candle holder for tapers so I won't be able to light it anytime soon >_<
Crystals?
Tumblr media
I got this pink Himalayan rock salt lamp and a crystal imitation incense holder. The lamp was only $5 and that why I got it but it's not what I expected. When I got it o didnt notice that it had been leaking so there was water damage on the box, which is fine because I'll just going to cross it but I should have paid more attention. The cord was also a USB which means I have to plug it into a computer or get my own cube which is a little sad. I use my phone charger's cube to make sure it turned on since it had water damage and it was all fine. It's a nice light not to bright but effective! The incense holder is not a real crystal (or at least I'm assuming because it was $4) either way is super pretty!!!
Books
Tumblr media
Two books!!! I'm so excited I LOVE books... I haven't read them yet but I will soooooon. The first one is 'An Introduction to Crystal Grids' by Karen Frazie and the next is 'Healing Crystals' by Karen Ryan. I got the crystal grids on Amazon. I got it because I am going to help my friends spiritually cleans their houses. Also just because crystals are a topic I'm not too familiar with and I need some info (also I love books and spending my money TT). The next book I got at 5 below jsut because they had it and it was witchy >_<
Tonics
Tumblr media
They're not really tonics bit I couldn't think of a good header.....Healing liquid was my next choice but it was kinda off putting.... I got Florida Water, Witch Hazel, cosmetic olive oil and rose oil a floral eye serum and floral perfume. The Florida Water is just to cleans things I buy at thrift store (like furniture) that is too big to cleanse with incense. It was actually my first time using Florida water, it was a surprising scent. I dont know what I exploit to smell like but it wasnt that..... I got the oils for many thingssss....firstly as part of my self care offerings for Aphrodite I've used it in ritual baths, in my hair, and on my facee. I want to use the olive oil to make annointed oil and to dress some deity candles I'm planning to make. The eye serum and roller perfume I got on a whim because they're pretty. If I dont like the scents they'll be used as offerings.
Incense
Tumblr media
Okkkkkay almost donnneee...... I got new incense!!! I usually get them from 5 below but they didnt have any good ones today. So I got Strawberry, Lotus and Dragon Blood 40 packs from Walmart. Thw silver container is also incense also from Walmart and its frankincense. Finally I got a new flower incense holder......the incense had a good smell, I didnt particularly like the lotus but it was fine. My brother said the frankincense smelled like weed, then he said it smelled like ham??? I liked it just fine though. The flower is super pretty and I LOVE it. It just makes a mess that I have to clean. I'm going to start putting some paper down to cut down on the cleaning.....I ahye cleaning.
Miscellaneous
Tumblr media
Last but not least I got Palo Santo, orange wax melts, and mini glass bottles. (Oof I put the witch Hazel in the tonic section TT). I got the Palo Santo at 5 below. I got it because it is what my ansc9used and what I would have been taught to use if my family practiced Brujería still, so I want to use it to teach the future generations of my family so we no longer have to hide in the shadows to practice. The wax melts are so test if I can replace them with candles. I'm sooo clumsy I am surprised I haven't started a fire yet so I need an alternative....the mini glass bottles were a gift from my mother. She needed them for a project but bought them to small. They're the perfect size for spells!!!
THE END
That was longgggggg. It was my first time writing a haul and it was kind fun. I wrote it all on my phone tho and now I dizzzyyy >_< . I have some things planned out and jsut waiting for me to write themmmm. I borrow my mother computer for my own sanity because my eyes hurt!!! Anyways thanks for reading!!!! >_<

November is a time of reflection and relaxation, as it heralds in “blank slate” weekends, restful time alone, and the joyous return to honoring life inside the home. For many, October is so much fun there is barely space for peace and quiet. But now that the wild action of October is over, and you can pause to savor the crisp air and quietness of the November sky, I suggest you ponder the opportunistic question of “now what?”
The weather is colder and the atmosphere is darker in November – while the view from your bedroom window can be romantic and beautiful, the feeling outside is cold, damp, and sometimes gloomy. Just this morning we experienced our first freezing fog this season. It is this kind of weather that makes us crave coziness, warmth, and comfort. November allows you the opportunity to lean into the temptation to relax, recuperate, and maintain your health and spiritual wellness.
A List of Chill Magic and Practical Rituals for November November can be a time when you can create a sacred space inside your home. While indoors, it is a great time to take up hobbies and activities that allow you the opportunity to spend time with the most important person in your life: yourself. Contemplate what aspects of yourself you have been neglecting and use the downtime of the indoor months accordingly. My hope is that this list below honors the magic of being chill and the comforting energy of November.
🧼 Fall Cleaning: For me an organized house is a creative house. I don’t know if this is something that everyone feels, but I function better in an orderly environment. If you are like me use the first couple of weeks in November to clean and clear your home of clutter. Consider donating clothes, books, and food.
🌿 Bring in the Green: Try bringing some green into your home to liven the indoors. Herbs that do well indoors are basil, bay, chives, cilantro, lemongrass, mint, oregano, parsley, rosemary, sage, and thyme. If you need some easy plants to work with try aloe, calathea, Christmas cactus, English ivy, jade, peperomia, philodendron, snake plant, and spider plant.
🕯 Warm Lighting: Try the warm and soothing glow Himalayan rock salt lamps and candle holders.
🔥 Purifying Incense: Burn a blend of frankincense, rosemary, and sage to purify your home. Allow the smoke to escape the home through cracked windows.
🧿 Protection Spell Bottle: Put together a spell bottle to create a protective boundary around your home. Some suggested items to add to a protection spell bottle include rosemary, rose thorns, needles, nails, dimes, vinegar, garlic, obsidian, black salt, sea salt, tourmaline, black pepper, hyssop, rue, and dragon’s blood. Seal it with black wax and bury it in the front yard of your property.
❤️ Blessed and Loving Home Simmering Potpourri: This is an inviting simmering potpourri to bless a home with loving energies. Slice an apple and place in a saucepan. Add four cups of water. Add in a couple cinnamon sticks, three star anise seed pods, a teaspoon of vanilla extract, a teaspoon of cloves, and a small piece of ginger root. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to a low simmer. Allow the mixture to slowly cook and spread it’s inviting and loving fragrance through your home. Stir clockwise occasionally, and replacing more water if necessary.
🛁 Relaxing Aromatherapy Oils: Use a relaxing oil blend in an oil diffuser to create a calming space. Essential oils that can help calm moods include lavender, sandalwood, frankincense, bergamot, ylang ylang, vanilla, patchouli, Roman chamomile, clary sage, and marjoram.
💰Prosperity Spell for Holiday Funds: For this spell you will work with the Hindu goddess Lakshmi. Find a glass jar or container and adhere a picture of Lakshmi on it. In the bottom of the container place a piece of green jade, aventurine, or other crystal associated with money. The first money to place in the jar should be four new quarters, which you can anoint with patchouli or money-attracting oil. Place money into the jar each day, no matter how large or small the amount is. When it is time to empty the jar and access the holiday funds, be sure to put aside a small amount of the wealth you’ve attracted to donate to charity.
🧶 Blanket Magic: Here’s a sweet little enchantment for the throw blankets in your house. Hold a blanket and visualize it being imbued with pink and gold light. Say to yourself the following incantation: “Wrapped in love, this blanket glows, with care and healing for those it holds.”
💆‍♀️ Homeopathic Remedies: We are blessed to live in a time where we can both take care of ourselves with modern medicine like flu shots and antibiotics, but we can also keep homeopathic remedies in stock to support our daily health routines. Try and create Fire Cider or Elderberry Syrup – they are said to help the body fend off colds.
💧 Basil Rinse: Boil a pot of water and stir in a handful of basil and a couple bags of chamomile tea. Use this as a cleaning rinse to welcome in prosperous and loving energies.
🔮 Divination: November is a fantastic month to work through divination. Treat yourself to a new tarot deck, practice a new tarot spread, or try a form of divination that you’ve always been curious about.
November Correspondences
Astronomical Dates for 2019: Taurid Meteor Shower (11/5-6), Beaver Full Moon (11/12), Leonids Meteor Shower (11/17-18), New Moon (11/26)
Crystals: Amber, Citrine, Obsidian, Onyx, Tiger’s Eye, Topaz
Food in Season: Apples, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, cranberries, horseradish, leeks, mushrooms, parsnips, persimmons, pomegranates, potatoes, pumpkin, turnip, winter squash
Herbs, Plants, and Incense: Blackthorn, Cedarwood, Cypress, Dragon’s Blood, Elder, Mugwort, Nutmeg, Pine, Rosemary, Star Anise, Thyme, Wormwood, Yew
Magical Work: Beginnings, Divination and Spirit Communication, Prosperity, Release, Removal of Obstacles, Transformation
Meditation Work and Reflective Topics: Charity, Comfort, Gratitude, Self-Love
The Magic of Samhain Isn’t Gone (Where to Look Next)
While many will celebrate Samhain through October 31st and November 1st, there are those who chose to observe Samhain at the exact midpoint between the Autumnal Equinox and the Winter Solstice. For 2019 that happens to land on November 7th. So, if you are enjoying the work with ancestors, divination, spirit communication, and banishment magic, don’t let it disappear now that it’s November. And, just because Samhain has passed doesn’t mean that the energy and magic of Samhain will instantaneously drop off. If you are new to witchcraft I recommend reading The Door to Witchcraft by Tonya Brown to help you continue your interest and magical pursuits. If you are fascinated by the idea of a Veil marking a boundary between our world and the Otherworld, I recommend visiting John Beckett’s blog Under the Ancient Oaks where he frequently discusses his impression of the Veil in modern times. And, hopefully the list above gave you some inspiration for November as well. The dark side of the year is an excellent time to go inwards and do deep, reflective, and personal magical work. The magic of pause and rest can be very powerful.

Confessions of a Budget Witch
Originally posted by me, in the "Witches & Pagans" Amino.
Let's get this out of the way right now: Being a witch on a tight budget sucks.
Being on a tight budget in general sucks, but this entry is focusing on witches on budgets, and the shadowy, consumerist side of witchcraft and paganism circles. So hold on to your brooms, brujxs, this is going to be a log post.
Tumblr media
The Aesthetic/ Instagram Witch
Before anybody throws stones, I have an Instagram account (with this same name). I'm not against the witch aesthetic.
In fact, I think it's great that so many people are passionate enough about art to create these wonderful images. I adore those photos with rose quartz crystal balls and points next to delicate himalayan salt lamps and towering pastel pink candles, and the magnificent bundles of dried roses and lavendar.
Tumblr media
Would I want all of those? Goddess, no. Cleaning up all the pouring wax alone would drive me insane, and thinking of all the vacuuming involved with all the dried herbs littering the floor makes me want to take a nap.
And yet, when I close my eyes, I think of some of those images of tall candles littering an altar, of a big crystal ball and tall crystal points. I think of creating big, elaborate crystal grids. I think of a nice stone mortal and pestle I've been wanting to buy for years.
Reality, however, has to hit sometime, and for me it's always when I check my bank account and remember that I barely pay rent with my current salary on most months. I constantly need help with groceries, medical and cellphone expenses. It's gotten better, but I still am not completely financially independent.
That said, I'm fortunate enough to still have some money to buy the things I enjoy, mostly crystals, candles and readings these days. I desperately want to support other witches/spiritual healers, so I carefully look over my finances and put aside some cash for them.
Does this mean I am any less frustrated? No.
In fact, a lot of my anger bubbles up when I read a new spell or witch book with a list of ingredients, always with the note saying like "you can always substitute ingredients, but it won't have the same effect". Which begs the question of why I bother looking up spells in the first place when I usually only have kitchen herbs and my 10-15 crystals (which is quite a lot of pretty rocks as it is). I feel like all these resources ask for the few things I do not have.
Now, I won't say that all sources are like this.
Websites and YouTube channels on minimalistic witchcraft are mostly free, and books like "Light Magic for Dark Times" by Lisa Marie Basille and "Holistic Energy Magic" by Tess Whitehurst, for example, have little to no need to buy a list if ingredients. However, these tend to be the minority in the witchcraft community.
Is that the budget witches fault? Absolutely not. We all have bills to pay and real-world responsibilities. The fact that we still fit this stuff into our lives just shows how much the Craft means to us. Which beings me to my next point...
Tumblr media
Finding Affordable and Functional Tools
Western Witchcraft tends to rely heavily on materials and tools to gain results. While many witches guarentee that you "only need yourself" to do magick, the reality is that magick without tools is incredibly difficult and almost impossible for baby witches.
The good news is that stores (in the US, at least) like Five Below and Dollar General are selling some basic stuff like candles, essential oils, crystals and incense at low prices. That said, aside from the candles, glass jars, wooden boxes and incense holders, many of those tools are low-quality. Most of the essential oils I've found at these stores, for example, are perfumed and not real plant-based oils. Tarot decks from places like Wish are usually cheap bootleg imitations that are also low-quality (and also don't support the creators). Another disadvantage is that we aren't supporting the metaphysical community when you buy from these places, which is something I find frustrating. Lastly, I've also noticed that cheap crystals are not not mined ethically, and that is another thing that I personally try to avoid buying cheap if I can.
Now, some common stores, such as pharmacies and grocery stores, are still quite useful to the budget witch. Pharmacies tend to have plant-based and cruelty-free essential oils and diffusers for good prices. Just make sure to research what can harm pets if you have them. Tea tree oil is very toxic to dogs, for example, but lavendar is not. However, lavendar is harmful to cats. Make sure to know what you're using if your pets are around you. Grocery stores are also great places to get cheap dried herbs.
Law of Attraction and The Root Chakra
If you've been reading my post, you'll have noticed that I do not like the Law of Attraction. So we are all clear, I am not against having goals, or following your dreams or passions. I am against the way this system makes the practitioner feel responsible for factors out of their control. (There is a Tumblr post that also explains how the ideology of LOA falls withing the B.I.T.E. model, which is used to identify cult ideology. I'll link it here soon).
I have also become incredibly wary of using chakras, as the popularized system that most witches use today were made-up by a white author.
What bothers me more than any of the aforementioned things is when other practitioners state that those of us in a difficult financial situation are either not working with our root chakras (which focuses on finantial stability, and livliehood) or just aren't using the Law of Attraction well enough. Blaming these kinds of difficulties on budget witches is not only shameful, but it's also usually a marketing tactic used by certain folks to make those of us desperate for money to want to buy their services to "learn how to get rich" or at least financially stable enough to thrive.
If you are interested in using the Western chakras, there are cost-effective ways to work on them, such as using meditation. Again, YouTube is a rich resource for hundreds of free and effective guided meditations on anything from chakras to spirit guides.
Tumblr media
Also, let's not forget our good old friend, Practicality. When you get an infection, for example, your priority should the doctor/medical professional first before witchcraft, unless you have a herbal specialist that can create a safe and effective holistic medication (and this person should be, again, a professional). In the same vein, if your are going through a financial rough spot, buying a bunch of root chakra candles or crystals in the hope that your situation will improve is contradictory to what you need to do: save that money. Maybe get one or two inespensive things if you can. If not, use the free resources on hand.
Don't Allow This to Discourage You
As much as many of us claim not to need tools (and I applaud you if you manage with so little, willingly or not), the truth is that most of us like to have things on hand, and I am no exception. Books, candles, crystals, decks and herbs are what I spend my money on. I am aware that there is a materialistic aspect to the way I choose to work. I even have a cauldron and a professionally made wand, despite not being Wiccan and using both for only special occasions. Heck, right now the cauldron is just housing a bled of herbs to cleanse anything I put in it.
That's my choice. I save for some months and then buy little by little. But there are other ways to be an effective budget witch and thrive.
For example, many witches on this site have pointed out that you can make your own tools, such as wands or altar decorations, out of sticks and rocks. Some folks prefer finding their own tools. Just be careful not to pick up anything poisonous, or disturb the nest of any animals that may be around. Also, do NOT eat anything off the ground unless you are 100% sure what it is and that it has been grown in clean soil. Go to the supermarket for edible herbs if you can't find a local market or herb shop. A quick online search will help with that, and you'll be acquainted with your environment.
Tea is also another wonderful resource for the budget witch. It is easy to find, usually under $5 a box (in the USA) and good for you. Again, it's still wise to be careful when trying new herbs, but I find most tea companies will stick to fruits amd common herbs like chamomile and peppermint, to name a few. Honey pairs well with tea, great for magick, and also very accessible. You can also open tea bags for a spell, or invest in loose herb mixes and a strainer. Try buying a teapot if possible. If not, boil your water in a pot over the stove, microwaved tea isn't as good. Trust me.
Tumblr media
Tips & Tricks
🖤Crystals are just as effective if they are small or pocket-sized, and usually a lot cheaper that way. There is the bonus perk of being able to carry them with you on the go in your bag or pockets.
🖤Use non-magickal sources as well a magickal ones to identify herbs and crystals so you can be sure they won't harm you. Crystals can also be toxic.
🖤Some people (myself included) believe normal rocks to be just as powerful as crystals. You can even try painting them the color you want to manifest, or you can put sigils on them.
🖤There are free digital tarot apps that are great for readings and having a deck with you wherever you go. The Labyrinthos and Kawaii Tarot apps are the ones I currently use.
🖤Plastic flowers and fruit can be cost-effective decor for your altar, and maybe even an offering or representation of your deity(ies) if you have any.
🖤Epsom salts are relatively cheap, and adding your own essential oils to them in a tub or foot bath is a great spa day remedy and good for metaphysical and physical cleansing. Just make sure they are real essential oils, and look up the correct dosage.
🖤White vinegar is also affordable, and efficient glass, counter-top and carpet cleaner. It also has protective properties along with salt, and it's great for cleaning your altar, if you can stand the smell.

Stupid question here: do you have to assign affects on crystals, or do they already have certain effects?
This is 100% a Your Witching May Vary answer.
You will find people who say both ways. Some people can name off energies and properties of crystals, and you can definitely find pages and pages and books upon books of information on crystals and their properties. This is an entire thing. Though I will tell you that this is a New Age thing, not an Ancient Witchcraft thing, even though lots of people will tell you that it’s ancient. It is not. (Which is okay, ‘ancient’ doesn’t have to mean better in the witching world, nor does ‘new’ automatically mean better.) If you want to get super hardcore into crystal energies and stuff, the community you find will probably be more on the “crystals already have certain effects” side. You can definitely find blogs and books on the subject (but I would caution you to use some discernment, because this is where you can run into the “I, a white woman, will teach you to cleanse your chakras!” crowd).
However, a lot of witches who use crystals do assign purpose to their crystals. This is where you’ll run into buzzwords like ‘charge’ and ‘program’ and ‘intent’. This is all Fancy Witch Speak for “tell the thing to do what you want it to do”. With this line of thinking, you can probably assign any effect to any crystal you want to, though in practice you might find otherwise. This will rely a little more on experimentation than on reference material and book-learning. Do you have a super-pointy amethyst crystal that you feel has good banishing power because you could throw it and take a mofo out? Then that is a good banishing crystal. Does your onyx just have a super chill vibe that makes you feel like the whole room has been calmed when you have this crystal nearby? Cool, then that’s a calming crystal. The downside of this is that you’re more likely to run into the “making stuff up for the aesthetic” crowd. (Again, which is okay to do things for the aesthetic, you’re again just going to have to use your discernment to figure out what information is reliable for your purposes.)
There ARE, however, definite PHYSICAL properties of crystals that you should absolutely look up if you’re going to work with them. Lots of crystals are toxic if placed in water and some with skin contact (and some crystals are just fancy names for asbestos???). So you should ABSOLUTELY check into the scientific properties of crystals so you know about any safety issues.
(Also, not a crystal, but since it’s crystal-adjacent: be careful with those himalayan salt lamps/rocks/blocks/candle holders because your pets may want to lick them and can get salt poisoning which is VERY VERY VERY BAD, so keep those things away from your fur babies.)

Happy To Share My Altar With You wonderful people of tumblr! Any fellow witches? Show me yours in RBs! Blessed Be💜

Even adding to my book collection above my altar Table 🔥💜👀
Tumblr media
Awaiting Neal Shustermans Skinjacker Trilogy.
Holy Water can be used for pretty much anything, Spells, Divination, Spiritual, Cleansing, banishing, evil energy/spirits. potions (It can be used in a Potion to counter Flu. With Cucumber, Basil, broth, parsley and a pot. Add Tsp: Holy water. See www.spellsofmagic.com
Skull is mostly for decorations, Although I was drawn to it simply for it's beautiful Celtic/Viking carvings
A Chalice
Candles of all colors but the ones I have now are only for my Divine Light invocation divination for protection and giving light to those around me. It takes a lot of concentration, and it does drain you. But in a good way.
Grinding Bowl for herbs and spices
Wax burner has Himalayan salt rocks to cleanse the air in a room and promotes better breathing. Add Vanilla or spice scents!
Geode and Amethyst
Box for my smaller crystals
Crystal ball. Yes your crystal ball CAN be black. As long as it's a sold color or clear. Do not use crystal balls that are shady/cloudy your readings will not be clear enough.
Three Spell books. (One of them is for Tarot reading. All I need now are my Tarot Cards for practice!) It's very informative. It even gives you a few basic spells to practice with candles and crystals and even teaches you chakra and how to keep them in balance. It includes palm readings. Which is another practice I'm interested in.
Sea shells are part of nature and the sea. I use them for my sage sticks! And it's totally safe.
Essences burner holder and candle snuffer. Never blow out the candles
And a simple bowl to put any remaining wine left out for your god/goddess offerings.
Remember. Your Altar is your space!. What I shown you is an example with brief explanations of each item and what uses they can have for you and your spells.
It can range from simple blanket or cloth on a floor, to a bedside table, travel size for on the go. You can even draw your altar too! It doesn't have to be perfect either. I personally think hand drawn altars are very special and close to any type witch / Wizard. Remember every altar is different with every witch. Be careful with cloth table tops tho! They can be a fire hazard so never leave anything ablaze unattended :).
That's all for now. I hope you enjoyed my incredibly long Post. Love you all! (Quick note. With any crystal you have keep them away from direct sun exposure they can also cause a fire since crystals can harness heat.

Root Chakra Bath
I decided to take my bath ritual to a new level. Recently I acquired colored and scented chakra candles and thought I should do a week of baths that correlate with the chakras.
I did a little bit of research to see what other things correlate with each chakra and used these different elements to build my specific themed bath ritual.
Starting with the root chakra I created a bath with epsom salt Himalayan salt a little bit of coconut oil and drops of sandalwood and rosemary oil. Aside from the root chakra candle, I also used tea lights and a Salt Rock candle holder. To add further ambience I used light cubes set to the red light setting. The icing on the cake was a sprig of fresh Rosemary from my garden. I also found on YouTube a 45-minute long gamma Wave Music piece. Where I did not have a specific "I Am" Stone, I did use my "believe" Stone to focus on the things that I believe that I am. These were accompanied by a piece of garnet, hematite and some red jasper with a small Ruby pendant that I had sitting around.
As far as mindful meditation I kept in consideration the level of Maslow's hierarchy being safety, and using the Mantra "I am safe". I also spent some time visualizing my spirit self and its most Primal aspect.
In the beginning of the bath and at the end I took a few long breaths while pulling my knees to my chest and releasing them.
After about 30 to 40 minutes of soaking the bathwater had become roughly room temperature, so I pulled the plug on the drain and laid there as I visualized all of my stress and worries absorbed into the water and draining out of the tub.
For a ritual that I basically pulled some information together and winged, I feel amazing and relaxed after the fact. I can only imagine that as I continue the week and get higher on the chakras and vibrations that I will be stress free and elevated in no time.

Tumblr media
What is Himalayan Pink salt?
Pink salt, which is another term for Himalayan salt, is renowned in Ayurvedic medicine as the purest and most beneficial type of salt. Because of the high amounts of iron and other minerals in the salt, the color of the salt can range from white to pink to dark red.
Calcium, chloride, sodium, and zinc are just a few of the 84 minerals that have been identified as being present in it. Hydration is preserved, while electrolyte balance is maintained, muscle cramps are relieved, and electrolyte balance is maintained. Calcium and magnesium, both of which are plentiful in Himalayan salt, are essential in the development and strengthening of bones and teeth.
Although the Himalayan pink salt is not for everyone, it is an excellent supplement. When it comes to salt, this isn't the best option if you're seeking for something that tastes like ordinary table salt, but it is ideal for those who like a more natural and unprocessed product.
At a glance: How can Himalayan Pink salt be beneficial for you?
Dead skin cells are removed and your skin is purified when you massage Himalayan salt into your face. By incorporating a little amount of carrier oil into the massage mixture, it is possible to increase the flexibility of the joints.
Because of the electrolyte balancing characteristics of Himalayan salt, bathing your legs and feet in warm water with Himalayan salt can be very effective in the treatment of edema and other swelling conditions. It is recommended that you restrict your intake of Himalayan salt in order to avoid edema from developing.
What is the process of putting Himalayan rock salt to use?
Both this type of table salt and ordinary table salt have a variety of applications, including cooking, flavoring, and preserving food, among others.
Making serving trays, chopping boards, and cooking surfaces out of pink salt blocks is an excellent option. Some people choose to use pink Himalayan salt instead of bath salts, and this is OK. Pink salt lamps and candle holders are also available for purchase at this location. In our capacity as the leading supplier and manufacturer of Himalayan Pink salt in India, we can attest to this.
Mineral Halite, Pink Himalayan Salt, Sendha Namak, Sindhav Salt, and Himalayan Rock Salt are just a few examples of the many different types of salt available. Himalayan salt receives its name from its geographical location in the Himalayan Mountains, where it is composed primarily of metals and minerals.

BEING SALTY
I can finally say that I consider myself an early adopter of the greatest and healthiest trends on the market. Four years ago, I was introduced to  Himalayan salt - the fine pink crystal looking salt and ever since, it has been used in our kitchen religiously.
Himalayan salt is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory type of salt. It’s been said to loosen excessive mucus or/and speed up mucus clearance, it decreases your overall immune system oversensitivity and it helps to balance your body’s pH level due to the rich mineral content.
Apart from just using Himalayan salt for culinary purposes you can use it for:
Bath soaks - this helps with detoxification.
Body scrubs - this helps with keeping your skin smooth as well as boosting collagen production.
Cleansing drink - dissolve a teaspoon in a glass of drinking water and leave it overnight. This will boost electrolytes and balance your body’s pH levels.
Soothe a sore throat - Mom was right when she told you to gargle with saltwater.
There are several reasons why Himalayan salt is more beneficial over table salt. One of the reasons are that table salt involves a great deal of unnatural interference as well as it being highly processed.
Many commercial salts undergo a bleaching process and contain aluminum derivatives which is without a doubt harmful to our health. I would recommend everyone to use Himalayan salt purely for the powerful health benefits.
Two years later and along came my interest for Himalayan salt lamps. When I first heard of the salt lamps and their benefits, I had to have one. Himalayan salt lamps are hand carved out of big stone salt bits, hence each lamp having their own distinctive look. The colors of those rock salts array from off-white to pink, red and orange. Before I purchased my pink salt lamp, I had an exciting personalised experience in a Himalayan salt showroom. In a world where we are constantly plugged-in and stressed about work or worldly affairs, I think it is safe to say that almost everyone can benefit from a salt room session.
The warmth and glow from the room brought a calming sensation, I could immediately tell that the room is made for a unique escape from the stresses of reality. The salt showroom is a tranquil and transformative space laid out in Himalayan salt tiles and products. Whilst browsing, I was completely relaxed by the atmosphere of the room along with enjoying the benefits of 84 minerals. The holistic hippie in me will sure be adding a salt therapy spa day to her wellness bucket list.
Himalayan salt has the ability to unblock the energy centers in the body called chakras and increase vibrations due to its high mineral content even though there is no scientific evidence to prove it. How do I know this? I feel it.
Himalayan salt lamps have amazing health benefits. One of the most important reasons, personally, is for the reduction of radiation emitted from our cell phones, TV’s and computers (also known as electromagnetic radiation).
Himalayan salt lamps are known for:
Air purification
Eases allergy & asthma symptoms
A mood booster
A sleep promoter
Releases negative ions into the air
Reduces anxiety
Salty Sistas is a retail brand for the distribution and manufacturing company Saltpur. The salt showroom is located at Eden on the Bay, Cape Town. They have over 100 Himalayan salt products ranging from salt lamps, salt candle holders, spa products, salt cooking blocks, salt massage stones and many more. Give them a visit and go experience the magic for yourself!
Himalayan salt lamps comes from the Punjab region of Pakistan, which is around 190 miles from the Himalayan Mountains. It is believed that the salt is composed of dried remnants of the original, primal sea.
