YES! Hunter and Willow are a thing...but there was the one episode when the illusion coven head came into hexide trying to give everyone coven sigils. And then Gus went into a panic attack which triggered a large spread illusion and led to Hunter helping to console Gus. I believe that a love triangle exists between the three. Hunter and Willow (thanks to For the Future) are interested in each other but Gus likes Hunter and Hunter is oblivious to this. we clearly see this as For the future continues on!

In this shot, Hunter teleported through Willows's vines and said "You guys mean the world to me and I-- I didn't know how to say that yet." Notice how he said YOU GUYS! he wasn't talking in particular to Willow because otherwise he would have said "You mean the world to me." and that's not what he said. There is clearly more than a one-sided relationship here!

I definitely think it's cute! I legit think they have more chemistry than Huntlow. Also yeah, it sucks that there isn't too much work regarding them. I've seen a few on A03, at least.

But yeah, I quite like it! They're so caring and soft towards each other; they'd probably die for the other, and they look like they have each other's back. While it's a bit strange that Gus never confessed to Hunter that he knew about the grimwalker thing, it's sweet that he was waiting until Hunter was ready. He's a keeper, Hunter. Don't let him go.

Wait serious question why are some Hunter x Gus ship posts tagged as proship or problematic ship? Is there somthing wrong with it? They aren't actually brothers and like the sibling coding is definitely not as strong as Hunter and Luz (like I get why that one is more dicey) .

I'm seriously just curious, cuz I think Hunter and Gus would be a cute ship

Since I did forget the age difference, looking back at it now I guess it does look less shippy…. But I mean that doesn’t mean that ship has sunk! It just has to be set in the future a bit. Yanno. Let Huntlow run it’s course. Willow realizes before Hunter that he’s gay. Gus admits he’s always had a crush on him since high school. Hunter could even be like he’s never looked at him like that. And Gus has to prove that he could be appealing to Hunter. He stages this huge date. Hunter surprises himself by getting flustered. It’s a whole thing.

ITS JUST A THOUGHT OKAY! Someone said Gus is 13 and Hunter is 16 which is like a freshman and senior in high school.

Owl House Shipping Questions

I just finished the Owl House today, and I gotta say the shipping scene threw me for a loop. Since Disney+ just cuts off in the middle of seasons, I had a long few months of desperately avoiding spoilers while constantly thinking about my new favorite character, V. Since V was my favorite, I wanted to ship her, and since I already shipped Gus and Willow, the only person left was Hunter. I knew it would never work out, to be clear. I just got really into it while waiting for more episodes. Then when Hunter met Willow, I was like, okay, I guess this is canon and I'll learn to live with it. Then in the labyrinth runners episode Hunter and Gus spent an episode together I was flipping out because my expectations got subverted AGAIN, and I thought the show was gonna push Hunter + Gus. Looking at a few things, though, I'm kinda glad some other people saw Huntlow too, and I'm not crazy. Honestly I don't know which one I want to believe in anymore. I kinda ship stuff as a guess of what I think is gonna be canon more than I try to choose pairs I like, but in this situation the one I like isn't canon and never will be, and then there's another one that looks the most canon to me but I don't like it because it double-subverted me, and in all fairness I guess I'd be okay with Huntlow, it's a nice middle ground. I'll accept whatever ends up being canon but I'd like to guess correctly for once, I guess. Also now that I know a ship name that sounds kinda official I'm gonna call it Huntlow forever now. I'm just rambling to myself at this point. How do people come up with ship names? There's always a ship name that sounds official, but whenever I try to come up with one it just sounds wrong. And how do people agree on a name that makes sense? Does someone just spit it out and everyone just says it sounds right? How does that even work?
