Okay now that the topic of Dean’s/Jensen’s eye color has simmered down to the usual occasional noise - Tell me why TF some older fanfics refer to Sam’s as CHOCOLATE BROWN???? Like brown ok, they look slightly so in some angles, but like… Chocolate brown????? Specifically that shade? They fluctuate brown/green/blue depending on lighting. Not a deep, warm, chocolate-y brown. Is it bc of the dark/grainy/contrast-y (and beautiful) color editing of the earlier seasons?

Is fandom depression a thing (not to be confused with phantom depression, which… is that even a thing??) because… I got it bad! And it sucks. I miss my hyper-fixations, and the ability to rewatch the same scenes over and over in various YouTube videos, and the drive to write 36362892 fics about the same ship.
