- she's trying to discuss the morality of their roles and seems to be unhappy to participate in mascot strip club murder

Glitches/lies:

- "dont worry about it, it wasnt that bad" alice, referencing TMI

- "no." sam, lying about not being interested in information about TMI

Incident:

- this is the result of gwen giving mr bonzo the hit, and it seems to have been read at her computer (once again implying theres a consciousness within FR3D1 or jmj)

- incident made by jordan bennett -> maybe related to this universe's bennett family (connection to barnabas bennett) but i doubt its lore relevant

- no obvious alchemic ties in this incident

- this case is narrated by norris/martin, but goes against the regular theme of his incidents (lonliness, loss of a loved one)

- the robotic sound of the narration seems to be diminishing, with very little of the beginning and end of the incidents being read in a monotone and robotic voice

- i want to voice my deepest appreciation for the title being "getting off", along with mr bonzo initiating a hit for the uk government in a strip club. incredible. absolute cinema from the minds of AJN and johhny sims truly

The target:

- before this episode, my theory was that klaus, colin, and teddy were the most likely to be the hit

- based on this list, if the target is the groom, it makes the most sense for it to be klaus, since there has been no mention of colin or teddy being engaged, and thats a clue i dont think the writers would leave out. however, the groom is called "baz" by his friends, which is a nickname i dont recognize (but its potentially on the rpg somewhere?)

- im not very convinced that klaus was the groom in this incident. i think the hit may have been obvious to lena, but gwen has yet to connect all the dots, leaving the audience a bit in the dark as well

im gunna be honest like i actually was thinking of i should do another but since this request read my mind and did it for me..i will thank you for this- now i have a free excuse to make this while taking requests

i will try to do a good 2 requests a day since some of them i might barely have a clue about...This was chaotic to make.

It wasn't everyday that the magic mirror made it so that a literal child could enter the college. So it brought pure shock to crowley's face when he found out, not to mention you were put in heartslaybyul.

When you were brought to your dormitory Riddle was trying to figure out just what to do with you.

"Ah-..we don't have anything for a child here?..You! go to sam's shop this instant!"

"Yes dorm leader!"

Everyone was rushing around thinking of what to do with you until trey ( #1 life saver) stepped in to help them all sort it out. I guess Riddle is learning something new for the past few days now isn't he?

Ace was put in charge of you for a bit because the upperclassmen were busy. That doesn't stop him from messing with other people though and teasing them. He barely payed attention to you actually.

However what was unexpected was for you to become attached to Riddle. If he's scolding someone then your always by his side taking notes since he told you "a good leader must always have control and absolute dominance over their people? do you understand little one?"

"mhm!"

"good, now let us continue."

I'd like to say that Trey is very much like that one cool uncle. The same goes for cater. Riddle is just your very strict, caring and loving mother while i see ace and deuce as your chaotic elder brothers.

Imagine it with me people yet again. You who's trying to look intimidating to some random terrible student and behind you is the rest of heartslaybyul looking like complete demons..yeah no someone had nightmares today.

I see cater as the type of cool uncle who basically brings you to those famous parks and if you want to try anything just let him know! he already got an appointment booked btw.

Ace and Duece somehow drag you into every terrible thing they do and its up to Riddle to keep you innocent

Let's be honest. Would Riddle be really Riddle if he didn't put your mind reading ability to the test?

If someone in the dorm is thinking of breaking a rule or even doing other forbidden things riddle has you report back to him instantly. Now this has crowley wondering "now that you mention it..dorm leader rosehearts hasn't collared anyone for a month..this is-..odd"

rubbing my hands together evil style. wampus you have no idea what you've unleashed

this is my bastard son: Samuel Alastine :D he goes by Sam but everyone calls him Sammy ^_^

his personality is like if you combined chip jrwi + sokka atla and made a really sappy fucked up love child. he's such a sarcastic little bitchboy at all times who loves being a bastard and charming his way into and out of situations (the consequences of his actions). he really focuses on the actions of the people and how they treat others as a sign of if he should trust them or not, when asked by Withers the question on how much a single human life was valued i had his answer READY lmao he was instantly responding with "it depends on the person's actions." he definitely has a weak-spot for kids though, he went through a rough childhood, but he doesn't consider it "important" and he trys to keep it as close to his chest as possible.

he's a tiefling sorcerer and i decided to make his sub-race a dragonborn tiefling so he could get the specific type of spells i wanted. i think my plan for progressing him is to focus my general skill-tree to be skewed towards how his personality would fight instead of whats most practical, and for him that definitely means wiping out multiple people in one flashy go with ZERO back-up plans. the amount of times he's had to get one of the other party member to revive him is insane, so he tends to leave that part out of the big flashy tales about his adventures. he loves showing off and bragging so much genuinely again think sokka atla just an absolute loser bastard who tries to take credit in a loving way. he would kill and die for his friends he just shit-talked as beneath him and side characters 5 seconds ago, and if someone else tries to also talk bad about them he's throwing hands and swinging on them in an instant with his whole 8 strength

speaking of which i skewed by skills so badly by putting the free +2 modifier to charisma to give him a 17 bro i coulda blanced his skills a little more and made all of his attacks do more than a grand total average of like. 2. maybe 3 if youre lucky but i DIDNT because im not a COWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!! so now he just flops over if he gets breathed at wrong or is out of spell slots like god intended. but at least he knows how to flirt GODBLESS

also also i definitely think his current party is going to remain his favorite and most trusted for the whole game. he's adventuring with Shadowheart, Wyll, and Astarion right now and they fit him so perfectly its actually insane. he loves how forward thinking Shadowheart is and is willing to follow her, and respects her for keeping her secrets while still letting him make fun of how closed off she is. (realizing now that my playful banter i try to give him might be the romancing options. but like. yeah he would try and do that she would never go for it though.) ((maybe)) and he absolutely adores Wyll's heroicism and looks up to him in a way, full of nothing but respect for how selflessly he acts and how he fights with confidence. he's an especially big fan of how he treats kids, knowing he never would have gotten that same kindness and it was nice to see the cycle be broken and someone make a change. and astarion he just wants to fuck LMAOOOO he loves the conversations they have and while astarion saying "oh yeah btw how do you wanna die when that worm in your brain spreads. like do you want poison or a knife" should normally be offputting thats EXACTLY his kinda humor and flirting. he said knife btw ^_^ purely because at the beginning where astarion jumped him he pinned him to the ground and held a knife to his throat and he really wants that to happen again but you didn't hear that from him. nuh uh.

anyway im having so much fun playing this game fully in character i see why the council did it that way now !! this is so silly goofy and fun i love going "oh wow any normal self respecting person would NOT say that to the random person they just met. i dont want to pick this option but youre not gonna believe this chief, its What My Character Would Do" every 5 fucking minutes for a new dialog this game is awesome im gonna go die in a combat now goodbye [vanishes into the woods] [the camera very clearly shows me hiding behind a tree thats too skinny for my body asking someone off screen if he's gone yet]

ch 5 is so good in showing crimeboys' opinions of each other through how that changes in this chapter

wilbur judges tommy with the standards he and niki with q, the throne candidates, were held up too and its frustrating to him that tommy can act more childish and still be considered at the heir

and its not that wilbur doesnt know, that tommy is unaware of the reason of his stay in pandorinne, to me it seems like hes almost looking for a reason to be critical of tommy (not that tommy makes that hard) bc niki (and he) and even quackity have been working hard to be good candidates for the throne and now tommy gets to just join in

also tommy insulting wilbur and phil forcing wil to spend more time with him isnt helping that

what wilbur fails to realise, that while tommy is still royalty, the manners standards arent the only different thing about tommys upbringing

as could be seen at the market, but even before, with tubbo, jack and even puffy, tommy is much less detached from servants and other people in the kingdom, where the people in the castle, while not necessarily evil, are very secluded in the castle and detached from the common people, even tho many make important decisions about their lives

and we get to see tommy disprove this prejudice in wilbur

and wilbur also learns that tommy isnt completely stupid in terms of strategy

now what is more interesting to me is how tommy sees wilbur

taking it from the start, while tommy recognises that wilbur doesnt like him all too much, for tommy hes the first new person he talks with in a less formal setting, wilbur doesnt scold him for cursing and generally they managed to have a chill pretty casual conversation before wilbur got pissy about tommy insulting him

and even after that wilbur will slip into banter with tommy (I love their urge to keep insulting each other lol), tommy doesnt know wilbur is kinda being forced to hang out with him on all the occasions they do so he quickly becomes a familiar person

theres never any punishment for what he says to wilbur, apart from wilbur himself and even niki encourages his making fun of wilbur

also I dont think tommy really realises the status imbalance between them

they did have the talk about wilbur not official having any status, but tommy doesnt see himself as anything more than wilbur

so to tommy wilbur is a stuck up guy who acts like the adults in criticising basically everything tommy does, but also he will go and insult tommy back and he keeps spending time with him (unknowingly to tommy very unwillingly) so I dont think tommy actually hates wilbur, he just enjoys making fun of him and knows he can afford it

as someone who spends a lot of time with boys rose!tommys age (scouting, also its not like im that much older) i adore how accurately he acts

any touristic tips if I want to visit pandorinne?

I love the city so much, the canals system sounds super sick and I absolutely adore markets they just have such a cool atmosphere

yeah the thing is wilbur understands that it's not exactly tommy's fault he's acting the way he is, because he isn't even aware of the position he's in. but it's still frustrating to witness. it's frustrating to listen to sam and phil both consider tommy a viable heir when tommy isn't even trying to get their approval, unlike what quackity and niki have gone through their entire childhoods.

but yes what's more interesting is the difference in upbringing between the pandorinne trio (quackity niki wilbur) and tommy. although valbroek is a fairly wealthy city and tommy still lived a very lavish noble lifestyle, he had a lot more freedom there than he has in pandorinne. he was able to go out on his own and interact with the people of his city. he's seen their struggles firsthand. his people aren't just theoreticals to him, they all have faces. which contrasts with quackity, niki, and wilbur who were rarely allowed to leave the palace without armed escorts growing up. and along with that, while tommy goofs off, he's not completely stupid when it comes to strategy. he's just untrained.

meanwhile, yes, tommy can definitely recognize that wilbur doesn't like him all that much but he thinks it's more of a game than it actually is. he thinks that the bickering is something they both enjoy. while he obviously knows his relationship with wilbur is nothing like his relationship with tubbo, there's the familiarity of a friendship where the two of you just insult each other all the time and pretend you can't stand each other when you're actually close. and the fact that wilbur keeps playing into the bickering, and there's never any punishment for what he says to wilbur like you pointed out, only affirms this belief.

not only does tommy not see himself as better than wilbur, he actually looks up to wilbur. it's not obvious and he's not even that aware of it himself, but wilbur is the son of the Consil. he's older than tommy and seems to know so much about what's going on in the palace, but he's less intimidating than niki and quackity since they're the potential heirs. tommy would rather die than admit it, but yknow when you have a 12-13 year old who interacts with a 17-18 year old and they think the older teen is so cool? yeah, that's tommy with wilbur.

lol I'm glad tommy is an accurate 13 year old boy. I did no research for how to write 13 year old boys I'm just going off of how tommy acted in the early days of dsmp along with my own distant memories of being in middle school

I'm glad you like the city!! Hmm tourist tips for Pandorinne... well the Lavender Market is one of the best parts of the city, as Wilbur told Tommy in that chapter. Canals are mainly used for the transport of goods and supplies, but later in the evenings you might find a man with a small boat willing to give you a scenic ride, if you have the right coin of course. There's also a few temples dedicated to the different gods littered throughout the city, which are always worth visiting to get a blessing or two. And make sure to go down to the docks directly to get fish so fresh it's practically still blinking! Of course, you can't miss the cookshops. If you bring your own meat or fish, they'll cook it up for you for a fraction of the cost you'd pay if you didn't provide they ingredients. They can even bake it in some pastry dough for a savory pie if you request it! Wealthier nobles tend to avoid cookshops though, since there's not a lot of heavy regulation on food distribution in the city...

The idea that someone out there will thoroughly enjoy the things in my brain. On my lowest days, I try to think about my future readers. Sometimes, I'll even think about my future critics. I think it'll be an honour for people to take my stories seriously enough to point out what's wrong with them.

2. A line/short snippet of your writing that you are most proud/happy of. If not maybe share a line of someone else's work you love (just please credit them)

I died when I became immortal, after all. Which can be found here, in my (still-growing, currently absolutely tiny) collection of one-shots!

3. Which OC makes you smile every time you think/talk about them and what are they like?

@canadjester's character, Q. I have an altar of him in my closet, actually. I am definitely normal about him. He's dumb and blond, both of which I am apparently into.

4. What process of writing do you enjoy the most?

Developing characters and fleshing out their relationships with each other.

5. What part of writing do you think you are the best at? (Yes stroke your own ego it's okay)

I'm very, very good at eliciting strong negative emotions, particularly sadness, hopelessness, and panic.

6. What is something in the writeblr community is most enjoyable?

Everyone is so supportive of and interactive with each other!!!!! We all feel like one absolutely ginormous family.

7. A writing tool/device you use that helps you with writing? (It could be speech to text, a writing program etc)

Would say nothing. I'm working on using Obsidian for planning, but for now I'm sticking to Google Docs.

8. A piece of worldbuilding that you like in your own story? (It could be the magic system, a particular place in the story, a law etc)

The history in End With One (Never Zero) has been particularly enjoyable so far.

9. What piece of advice would you say to encourage others to write if they are having a rough patch?

If you think what you've written is shitty, leave it for three weeks (or even several months). Once you've come back to it, it'll be much better than you thought, I assure you. On the off-chance that it's just as bad, then in your time away, you'd've gathered enough experience and rest to be able to detect the errors in your writing—and now you can fix it :)

Im so sorry for bringing this up but i would genuinely have a look at why you hate alexis so much more than blake, im not saying this to be mean or malicious but i did when that talk in the fandom happened a little bit ago and yeah no it was just an internalized dislike of women and like not allowing women (even just in media) to be complicated and messy and grey while praising men in media for the same very things, and liking them for doing even worse, as well as we havent even met alexis and are only seeing her through someone she fucked over, its making our opinions on her so concrete and stale before we know anything about her and why she did what she did and how she feels about it now, men are adored and praised when they murder people and hurt so many, but women fuck over one guy and shes evil and irredeemable. you def dont have to like alexis (i still dont) but just like yeah, Im not accusing you of anything either btw its just good to have a look at yourself sometimes, i hope this comes across chill like i meant it cause again i had a bit of a look at myself and there is just so much hatred of women in media.

We dont know Alexis. In canon, we’ve never seen her, never heard her, never spoken to her. We only know of her through the eyes of Vincent and Sam, and absolutely NOTHING about her is positive.

- She’s such a hellion William vowed to never make another progeny

-She calls Vincent a mistake because of jealousy

- She turned Sam without consent

- Instead of trying to make him understand why she did it, she stop trying to talk to him when she learned she couldnt invoke him

She has NO redeeming qualities, there’s nothing spoken of her to make her likeable.

Blake is different

We KNOW both sides of the story, we’ve seen his manipulation and softer side, and we know he has depth to him.

Do we know why Blake has Sunshine trapped in the basement? Yes. Do we like it? Of course not! Are we supporting it? Hell no.

But then we see how he is with Dreamer and we change, because we see how soft he behaves, how his demeanor changes around them, how his “motives” seem more “justifiable” (for lack of a better term)

Alexis has no sort of depth to her, and until she does, why should we like her? We physically have no reason other than “She MIGHT’VE changed”

Kirby was always undersized (even by women’s hockey standards, they usually tend to be about 5’4”) and her puck vision meant that, while she played on the wing, she was more of a playmaker than a sniper. Most of her points were assists, because she had this insanely good eye for setting up her teammates’ goals. Her favorite active player, obviously, has to be Claude Giroux, because all the underlying analytics say that he’s elite, but he’s not as flashy as his peers like Crosby and Ovechkin, and he’s also on the smaller side. She also has a bittersweet appreciation for Leon Draisaitl, because Drai and Connor McDavid’s relationship reminds her of what she and Jill were supposed to be. Leon works to set up the quicker, flashier McDavid as he snipes a goal.

Sam is more of a traditional power forward, someone who uses her size rather than her speed or stick handling to make the game bow to her. People are scared of trying to take the puck away from her because they might go flying across the ice. She plays at center so that she can take faceoffs and because she gets a wide berth in the center lane, allowing her to pass or shoot without being hounded. She absolutely adores Matthew Tkachuk – he’s talented, he’s physical, and he has never shut the fuck up for more than maybe five seconds at a time. She also likes Nazem Kadri as another unfairly-maligned power forward, and she’s sort of the yin to Tom Wilson’s yang – he plays the heel on the ice and is the nicest guy off it, she tries to do the right thing in games and then runs her mouth at the postgame presser.

Tara I think was also a winger, mainly because she knew that Sam played at center and she wanted to play on the same offensive line as her big sister. But, even though she wasn’t a defensewoman, she was definitely more of a defensive forward. She fits the Noah Cates mold – on the scrawnier side, but making up for it by creatively moving the puck around her bigger (and thus slower) opponents. As for her favorite player, she has excellent taste and loves Jason Robertson. His vibes are immaculate.

Ep 2 is here now and I gotta say, the fact that Lata just finds all things monster fascinating is my fav thing cuz that is just me. Her playing with the jaw of the zombie was adorable and I wish i could've done the same. Carlos finding it disturbing just added to the charm of the whole scene.

Millie immediately yelling at John before he even got the chance to exit the car was oof, big oof. Mainly cuz it reminded me of my own mother's control tendencies. And because of that, I also tend to try and understand her point: admittedly John could've died and she wouldn't have know anything til after the fact. I get that fear, especially after the 2 years of no contact and likely a not good break before that with John at war. But fuck if she didn't just make it way harder for John to ever try bridging that gap or learning actual skills on dealing with conplex shit like that because she was just unreasonable about it all and taking it out on him. And the fact that La Tunda is actually calm when talking to John later is sooo interesting. I can't say she was nicer than Millie, cuz she wasn't but it def counts as another of those [insert crowley here saying :so my demons were too polite?] moments. I just found it all soo interesting and I have to add thay sadly her story at the end of the episode where she tells John about her and Henry's dealing with arguements doesnt actually help her case too much because of how she reacted initially. All thay teaches John is that he can take out his fear on others and then smooth it over with an "ull understand when ure older/had kids/been through similar shit" she is somply not constructive at all. But it a bit of an improvement because she, i believe, meant it as an explanation and apology despite it sounding as an excuse to me.

John being clearly not a pro at hunting or even just the type of fighting style hunting requires (and especially with a group of hunters) sent me. It's soo good. And it just makes me think of SPN!John learning to hunt and with the trauma of Mary's death it suddenly seems like even more reasons he didn't engage with a hunter's network. He just isn't a team player in that sense, he's too hyperfocused on his own fight that he loses sight of anyone else, and more than that, he had to have learned to adjust the fighting style he'd known to something that would work for hunting. It was basically ego and refusal to change, surpise surprise. TW!John tho keeps trying even after he fucks up, and while Im sure the constatly getting splashed with monster guts isnt fun, he doesn't have the same hang ups about not being perceived as indestructible. He essentially rolls with the punches and learns and is allowed to have flaws on display. Its not the pedestal SPN!John is put and puts himself on.

Mary's bullheadedness is absolutely fantastic in an extremely frustrating way. She is so fixated on getting through the case as fast as possible so she can get back to finding her dad that I actually got some season 1 Sam vibes from her this episode. I will say I find it soo interesting we got a John focus, cuz we all know the Cambells aren't that off for La Tunda to go for. Carlos giving her a pep talk about it and also admonishing her for her behaviour is def deserved and just top notch friendship tbh. As is the Cabaret gag with Mary, Carlos and Lata. It shows in a small but important way that these 3 def have a history and it's a long and intricate one. And u see even more later after John gets taken. It's in the way they talk to each other even in a high stress situation. Also Mary ackowledging she fucked up and thanking Caelos at the end... ughhhh I love growth.

Ada get to show off a bit more in this one, her scrying was genuinely sooo good, like this episode does a fantastic job of making you ask yourself what is actually up with Ada, whats her deal?? Because on the one hand, she recognized the flower off the top of her head and helped Lata instantly, on the other hand the way the scrying was shot was almost unnearving. And im not sure if it's cuz spn got me/us used to seeing scrying done by villains or as a subterfuge tactic or what, but yea, it added another air of mystery to Ada. And then u you have her conversation with Millie which has a hell of a ripple effect cuz I genuinely believe it's that converation that led to her actually trying with John at the end a bit. It's not solving anything broken there yet, but it does help. And adding ehat we know of about Ada's past to this makes me cry cuz shes just trying to prevent Millie from making the same mistake she had basically.

Carlos was more mediator this episode. Between the Lata and Carlos show (as per usual their friendship is everything to me) and seeing the complexity of that relationship as it stands and their dynamic with each other, to lecturing Mary on her behaviour, to just being highly competent at the job overall. Like they might not have done too much in the foreground, but damn if it wasn't a shitton of background work there. You can tell here that for all the "Im a solo act " bravado, Carlos is actually very much a team player and it's due to the emotional inteligence they have thats on full display here, in their usual jokey manner of course, that thats the case.

Aaaannd we get the 1st mention of Betty in this. I won't touch on that in this one but I like Betty a lot.

The end of this episode is my fav thing. Because it's pizza and joking and hanging out beside having the plot move forward once Ada brings up what shes been up to this episode. And still the focus isn't on the demon memories, but on them bonding. Uhhhh I love it.

We also have the 1st glimpse of the Akrida and if you were skulking around here when the show was airing in autumn u know I think the Akrida are adorable and I want a plushy with them. So the pure joy the shot of who we now know is likely Roxy with all them little critters around gave me cannot be overstated.

This ep def is much better paced than the Pilot, and also just lays clear the main there of this show, which is intergenerational trauma. It literally slaps u with it, it's front and centre and will continue to be shown in its many varried forms as the show progressed and I fucking love it for that because ultimately that is what Dean is doing here, beside once more saving the world. He is like i said, woeking through his own intergenerational trauma through these young versions of his parents that haven't yet had more trauma pilled onto them.

Aaaa okay so i just reread the fic with XD and Tommy and it's got my mind going in so many different directions so get ready for a couple of questions :D

After this instance, how often does XD interact with Tommy, if at all? They seem to be worried about him, especially in the area of the timeline in which Dream is now out of prison.

What are XD's thoughts on some of the other smp members that we haven't actually seen much yet. Like Quackity and Karl, or Foolish since in the canon universe they seem "close ish"

And finally,, where did XD learn this healing power from? 👀 There was definitely some weird hinting happening in the fic. My theory is HD but im curious to know the truth 0-o

After the Tommy and XD fic, I'd probably say XD checks up on Tommy from time to time, keeping an eye on him and looking to see if Dream goes near him (sort of a part in looking out for Tommy and part in using him as bait)

I imagine XD knows nearly all members of the SMP. I headcanon that every once in a while XD hosts "games" for people to play in (think like MCC or squid/crab games type stuff) so he knows near all but only close with a few. He considers Tommy, Phil and Techno as friends. Tommy reminds him of a young Dream so he is extra fond of him. He is friends with Foolish since I like the canon being that XD and Foolish are "friends" and have it that XD helped Foolish unlock some of his God powers and Foosh built him a statue (because XD is still rather vain in the au hehe)

XD knows of Karl and his powers but doesn't have much interaction with him. When he does it's mostly from worry and XD handles Karl very gently. He knows Karl is a dear friend to George though so he does keep and eye on him from time to time. He does not like Quackity, for a few reasons, and certainly won't like him if/when he finds out what Quackity done to Dream.

He dislikes Sam, Bad and Ant for the reason of them being prison guards but holds extra dislike for Bad. Of course not to the same level of canon but just generally wants to not be around him. I think he tolerates Sam a bit more since he's Foolish's friend and Ant he doesn't really know, just knows that he is/was a prison guard so that's a dislike.

He adores Puffy for looking out for Dream after XD, Dream and Drista came to the Overworld. I imagine he sometimes spends lunches with her to chat.

For mostly everyone else I think his level of like to them would be related to how much Dream or George likes them. XD tried and failed to keep a distance from things going on and developing relationships to others as they'd skew his judgement, but for that he's not really "introduced" himself to everyone.

And yes, absolutely XD learned how to heal from HD. He can't do it as well as HD can but it's enough for minor stuff. I have it written that HD taught XD to heal because XD was constantly worrying over Dream's injuries (think like he just had a bad fight with mobs and is just bedridden till wounds heal) and HD taught him so it would stop him talking about it.

I have so many small character moments that just don't fit into fics so I just try to put hints to them happening.

What was said so casually before is actually a big fucking deal. She’s on a panel of people talking about the importance of diversity in art, with an emphasis on queer Black creators. As Mol listens to her share the bullet points of her research and preparations, she can’t help but think that China’s exactly where she’s meant to be.

She’s also absolutely not Anon.

“When I was asked to do the panel, I was dating this photographer. Oh my god, Mol, you would’ve loved her stuff. She was so raw. Worked only in black and white, so she played with shadows. She could make anyone’s body look like it belonged in a museum, I swear.” She swirls her martini—Beefeater gin, dirty, extra olives—between her fingers, her long, braids swirling on the tabletop. Mol can almost still feel them falling onto her back, tickling her sides as China moved behind her, inside of her.

“Anyway, I was gonna try and get her introduced to a couple of folks, use this opportunity to get her in front of some people who hold real keys around here. But we broke up.”

“I’m sorry to hear that,” Mol says sincerely, her fingers dancing lightly on the sides of her own glass. McCallan 15, neat.

China sweeps a hand in front of her, playing it off. “Ah, that’s okay. Some people just can’t get with the poly thing. I seem to remember you having an issue with it yourself.”

Mol flushes, and she hopes the lights are low enough to conceal it. “It wasn’t my favorite thing, no,” she admits. “But if it works for you, great. I respect it.”

“All you can do,” China says. She takes a drink, her dark eyes never leaving Mol’s. Were her lashes always this long and this inviting? “So what do you do with yourself these days? You seeing anybody?”

“Not at the moment,” Mol says, thinking about how she almost asked China that very question in her first message. “But I guess there’s this one person…”

“There always is.”

“It’s complicated.”

“It always is.”

Mol loves this rhythm, this back and forth, her grin almost vulpine when she says, “I do okay though.” All cocky and confident, like she can get sometimes.

“I’m sure you do,” China replies.

Mol feels a bit lightheaded. It’s only her second drink, so it must have something to do with whatever is fizzling between them. Rekindling.

Shit, she wasn’t expecting this.

“You still writing?”

The question feels like a bucket of ice water being poured over her head. Probably necessary, but startling nonetheless.

“I am,” she says, trying to mask the obvious hesitation in her voice.

“About what?” China asks. She mimics Mol’s cadence, making Mol laugh. Reigniting the spark.

“Funny that you should ask, actually, because I, uh—“ Is she actually going to tell her the truth? Admit that she’s lured her here under somewhat false pretenses? She supposes the answer is yes, as the words tumble out, “I mostly write about my love life.”

China perks up at that, leaning back in her chair. “Essays?”

“Kind of,” Mol says. But after thinking about it, says, “Yeah. It’s all short-form.”

“Interesting.” China leans back in, puts her elbows on the table, her hands clasping underneath her chin. “Have you ever written about me?”

“Yes.”

“Would I like what you had to say?”

“Probably.”

“Can I read it?”

“Sure.”

It’s likely a sickness that she should see a doctor about, but Mol’s so turned on she could combust right there at the table. The table that China is resting on, taking up space like she owns the place. And she could. God, the way she’s looking at Mol right now? Anyone would be hard pressed to deny her anything. The perfect bedroom eyes. So in a way it’s no surprise what comes next:

“You want to come up to my room, Mol? I got a Corner King that’s pretty big for just one person.”

Cate set free all the prisoners from the woods causing chaos and ultimately a massacre on Godolkin.

As the massacre continued a confrontation between Cate and Marie and Jordan Happened..

ok, food for thought. hear me out: how would everyone have reacted to the finale if everything was exactly the same BUT sam was the one to die first? sam was the one who got rebared, who told dean he can do it alone, who had a hunters funeral, who met bobby in heaven.

dean would be the one to to sit with miracle in sams room, to get the phone call, to leave the bunker. then the montage would have been sam catching up with everyone in heaven, and then dean on earth raising a child named sam (with cas). when bobby mentions that jack and cas rebuilt heaven sam would be like ‘cas is alive? where is he?’ and bobby would give him the look™ like ‘take a wild guess’. then sam is the one on the bridge when dean shows up.

It's been two years and two days exactly since you and Henry had broken up.

It had been one year, one month, and two weeks exactly since you had given birth to his daughter, the daughter he had no idea existed.

It hadn't been a particularly nasty break up or anything, but both of you were hurting. You both wanted the relationship to work out, and when it didn't, you were both too heartbroken to even remain friends.

You had moved away from London not long after the breakup, deciding to live in Manchester, which was closer to your family. When you found out you were pregnant, you had tried to call him, but he had blocked your number. You had no way of contacting him other than through instagram, but he had unfollowed you and you knew your message would get lost in the thousands he received a day if you tried that.

You had no way of contacting his family either. You didn't know what to do. You had told your family, and they were insanely happy for you, even though you were going to be a single mother. When your mom had sat down and told you her and your father would do anything to help and support you through whatever decision you made, you knew the answer.

You were going to be a single mother.

When your daughter Aurorra Enola Cavill was born nine months later, you knew you made the right choice. Being a single mother may not have been what you were planning in life, but holding your blue eyed and brown curly haired baby in your arms for the first time, you knew it was what you were meant to do.

Aurorra had become your little bestie. She was such a well behaved baby. She rarely cried, slept through the night not long after she turned a week old, and was always full of smiles that were clearly from her father. There was never any doubt in your mind that she was Henry's, and every time you looked at her and saw her blue eyes, brown hair, and her cuddly chunky body, it only solidified that fact.

Aurorra had just turned 13 months old, and your job transferred you back to London, so you and Aurorra had just made the big move back.

You had opted to move back to the same neighbourhood both because of the safety of it, and because you knew you'd have a good chance of running into Henry. You had thought about it for months on end, and knew he couldn't be kept in the dark any more.

You had just finished unpacking the last box in the bedroom, when Aurorra woke up from her afternoon nap. You changed her and the two of you headed out to ASDA to get some groceries.

You pulled in the driveway and saw car that looked similar to Henry's BMW, but you didn't think anything of it. You parked and got a less than happy Aurorra out of her carseat and strapped her into the cart before heading on your shopping journey.

You had made it through the fruits and vegetables, and was heading to the freezer section to grab frozen fruit for the growing 13 month old, when you saw a familiar back in the same aisle.

It was Henry. There was no doubt about that. He was wearing a white knitted cardigan, with faded blue jeans, and running shoes. From the top of his cardigan you saw a dark blue t shirt poking out. His hair was slightly messy, but still curly. He was reading the nutrition information on the back of a frozen energy bowl, and you quietly opened the fridge, hoping to grab what you needed from this aisle and escape without him noticing you.

You had gone over seeing him again a million times in your head, and in no way did you plan on it being in the grocery store with other people around.

But, 13 month olds have a mind of their own. At that moment, Aurorra saw a popsicle package with the characters from her favourite show, Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, and proceeded to squeal and call your attention.

"Mama!" She squealed and pointed a chunky hand at the popsicles. "Bug!" You glanced up and Henry and watched as he did a double take back at you. His eye brow furrowed, but you ignored him, instead turning to your baby.

"Yes, that is Ladybug. Would you like them?" You asked, and she nodded eagerly. You smiled and grabbed them out of the freezer once you noticed they were organic. "Say thank you," You prompted, and she brought the same chunky hand up to her chin and then down flat towards you. It wasn't the most perfect sign, but she was still learning.

You saw Henry walk up to you and had to steel yourself for the coming conversation. "Y/N?" He asked, and you turned around to face him.

"Hi, Henry." You said, placing the popsicles in the cart with the rest of your groceries. He smiled at you, and then glanced at Aurorra. She smiled and cooed at him and he smiled back, and stroked her cheek. "Hows everything," you asked, trying to avoid the question you knew was about to come.

"Everything's good. Kal misses you. Still sleeps with the teddy you got him," He said, his eyes locked on your daughter. You smiled.

"Well, tell him I miss him too. Now, if you'll excuse me, we're running a little late. I have to get home and get her fed." You said, but before you could move the cart Henry asked you the question.

"I-is she mine?" He asked, and you nodded, trying to swallow the lump that had been forming in your throat, to no avail.

"Y-Yes." You stuttered, and seconds later, Henry's arms enveloped you. "I-Im sorry," You whimpered, and Henry shushed you.

"Its okay. Let's not talk about it here. How about I meet you at your place once were both done?" He suggested, and you agreed, before giving him your address.

"Okay. I'll see you there." he said, giving you another hug, and pressing a kiss to the top of Aurorra's hand that had curled around his pointer finger. He stroked her cheek once more, before giving you both a smile, and heading off. He grabbed his cart with groceries, and made his way towards the checkout.

By the time you had finished shopping and made it home, Henry was parked in the driveway. You took a deep breath, and got out, giving him a smile. He returned it, and got out of his car before walking over to help you.

He grabbed the groceries, leaving you to grab Aurorra, who squealed at the sight of Henry. Henry chuckled, and blew her a kiss. He followed the two of you inside. You set Aurorra down, who stumbled on her own feet before stabilizing, her empty bottle in the right hand.

"Go put your baba in the kitchen please," You said, and she babbled to herself as she walked off, ignoring you and Henry.

"She's absolutely adorable," Henry said, and you smiled. "Well, she is your daughter," You said. Henry threw his head back and laughed before following you into the kitchen.

You set the bags down on the ground and turned to put away the ones Henry set on the counter. You two made small talk while putting away the groceries, mainly about work. You heard ruffling behind you but didn't think anything of it, as Aurorra usually liked to help put away the soup cans.

"Mama?" You heard a little voice ask and you turned around to face Aurorra. She was holding the box of popsicles out to you in one hand, while her other hand made a clockwise motion on her chest, signing please.

You smiled and took the box from her.

"After dinner, okay?" You said, and she didn't like that very much. She plopped on her butt and began to cry.

Her arms reached up to where the popsicles were and sobbed her little heart out. Henry's heart melted and scooped her up. "It's okay baby girl," He said, bouncing her. She sniffled, but calmed down and laid her head on his shoulder. He smiled in happiness, and pressed a kiss to her curly head.

He turned to you. "I just realized, I don't know her name," he said, and you smacked your head.

"Shit sorry, I completely forgot to mention that. Her names Aurorra Enola Cavill. I made sure she got your last name, and that you're on the birth certificate." You said, running your hands through her curly hair.

"Enola? Like Enola Holmes?" He asked, as Aurorra cuddled closer, her chunky arms wrapping around his neck. You nodded.

"Yeah. I couldn't think of a middle name for her, and I was watching Enola Holmes just before she was born. It was the scene where Sherlock and Mycroft see Enola on the train platform and you say her name. I knew then it was perfect." You said, and Henry smiled.

"It's a beautiful name," he said, wrapping his free arm around you. The three of you stood there for a few minutes, before Aurorra shook her hands at you, and tried to wiggle out of Henry's arms.

"Ah dun, Mama." She said. Henry pressed a kiss to her chunky cheek, and let her onto the floor. She scurried away seconds later, towards her bedroom.

"Is she okay wandering by herself?" He asked, watching her little body fall to her hands and knees, but get up and brush it off before continuing on her mission.

"Yeah she'll be fine. She's just going to play." You said, and Henry nodded before pulling you into his arms fully.

"I really am sorry I didn't tell you about her. I couldn't contact you or anyone in your family, and I didn't have the energy during my pregnancy or after to make the journey to London. I promise I didn't plan on hiding her forever." You said, and Henry squeezed you even tighter.

"It's okay. I know you'd never do something like that on purpose. You've done an amazing job raising her. I just wish I had witnessed it."

"You'll get to see her grow. You might have missed her start life, but I have everything recorded. Her first breath, her first steps, her first words, all of it. I know it's not the sam-" You said, but were cut off by his lips.

His hand travelled up to cup your face, before he pulled away. "Sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I just- You amaze me, you know that?" He said and you giggled.

"How so?" You questioned.

He rested his forehead on yours before continuing. "You thought to record everything. You made sure she has my last name and that I'm on the birth certificate. You didn't have to do that, but you did. I've missed you so much, and I didn't know just how much until I saw you in ASDA. I never should have left. I never should have blocked you." He said, a tear falling from his blue eyes. "I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that alone. Thats never what I wanted. But, I promise to be the best dad to her, whether we're together or not."

"I know you will be," You said, and pulled Henry in for another kiss.

The groceries were put away a few minutes later and you told Henry to go and play with Aurorra while you cooked, which he happily did.

He walked down the hallway to her bedroom, and smiled lovingly when he saw his daughter sitting on the ground playing with blocks, a stuffed Akita just like Kal secure under her arm. She was babbling to a Mickey Mouse toy that sat in the corner of the room, and was stacking blocks.

Henry began to walk in the room when she stopped babbling let out a sneeze and a sigh. He grabbed a Kleenex from the change table and sat down next to her.

"Hey sweetheart, can I wipe your nose?" Henry asked, seeing the snot coming from her nose due to the sneeze. She looked up at him and giggled, which Henry took as a yes, and he wiped her nose quickly before disposing of it in the garbage can.

She began babbling again, and pushed the Akita stuffy into his hands. "Goggy," She said, and clapped, which made Henry smile.

"It is a doggy. I have a doggy like your stuffy, wanna see?" He asked, and she nodded and clapped.

Henry pulled out his phone and pulled up a picture of Kal. Aurorra stood up and clambered into his lap, which Henry welcomed. When she saw the picture of Kal, she started bouncing and clapping again.

"Goggy! Goggy wun!" She exclaimed when he showed her a video of him running.

"Thats right, he is running. He's really good at it too, believe me." Henry said and put his phone away. Aurorra stood up and reached out her arm for him, opening and closing her fist. Henry stood up, and let her take his big hand in her tiny one, and lead him out of the room, and towards the back door that led to the backyard, babbling the entire way.

"Hold on, honey, we gotta tell Mama we're going outside, okay?" He said and she nodded before running to the kitchen shouting Mama.

Henry watched as she stood in the doorway and babbled before pointing at the door. She held her hand in front of her face and moved it out, closing it into a fist.

"You're going outside?" You asked, and she nodded. Henry saw you bend down and whisper something into her ear with a smile on your face and Aurorra giggle but didn't think much of it, before his little girl was running towards him and squealing.

He scooped her up and carried her out the door. She pointed at the toy box in the corner of the yard and Henry carried her over. He sat her down and opened it, before letting her pick what she wanted to play with. She grabbed a bucket with shovels and molds before running over to the lady bug sandbox and patting the lid. Henry chuckled and pulled the lid off.

"You wanna play in the sand?" He asked, and she nodded before climbing in.

Henry sat down next to her, and a shovel was thrust into his hand seconds later. She had a bright yellow one in her own hand and was digging a hole. Henry followed suit and helped her dig the hole.

A few minutes later she handed Henry a elephant mold.

"Put, Dada." She said, and Henry's breath caught in his throat, the mold falling from his hand.

"Did you say Dada?" He asked her, tears clouding his vision, and he saw her smile and point at the house.

"Mama, say." she said, picking up the elephant mold again.

"Mama told you I'm your Dada?"

She nodded and shook the mold in his face, practically begging him to take it. Henry smiled and pulled her out of the sand box, into his arms.

"I am your Dada, and I promise you I will love you forever." He said, and kissed her cheeks. She giggled before pointing at the sand box and doing grabby hands. Henry chuckled but put her back where she was. He picked up the mold and began to fill it with sand before she got upset.

"I apologize for interrupting your playtime," He said. "Now, lets make some animals."

Later that night, when Aurorra had been fed and put to bed, Henry pressed another kiss to your lips.

"She called me Dada when we were playing outside." He confessed and your eyes lit up.

"Really? I told her before she went out with you that you were her Dada, I wasn't expecting her to say it so soon!" You exclaimed. Henry chuckled, and pulled you into his lap.

"I'm so happy she did. Thank you for giving me her." He said, pressing his lips to yours before you could respond.

In all honesty, I don't even think he knows what he's doing-

Just because he had a girlfriend before, doesn't mean he knows his way around in terms of courting you with flirts.

He's the type where you can't even tell he's serious or not.

He can act all casual and teasingly about it, and they can be super cringe that you playfully smack his shoulder. But little did you know he was actually being serious about it,

and it kinda leaves mental bruises on him.

But then again, he's adamant on showing that he actually does love you, and flirts are just his miserable way of giving you hints.

The only way you can truly know he's serious about it is by the way he looks at you. His eyes.

He may be smirking lightheartedly at you, but his eyes hold a hue of anticipation and anxiousness. Waiting, hoping and begging you could pick up what he means.

Deuce Spade
