I just learned you can report anons, so guess what just happened to the anon being intentionally transphobic to me? ( they got reported )
I don't ever post about any negativity sent my way because I always just block and go about my day, but this time, I noticed that you can infact report anons now.
So I'm just spreading awareness so all my followers know that you can, infact, possibly get someones account shadowbanned for them sending enough anon hate that gets reported.
I understand being degraded, insulted, and humiliatiled are all kinks I have and thoroughly enjoy but you need to ask someone in dms or anon if it's ok to call them certain things before you do so. I reported the anon because I don't want these behaviors being normalized against other fat trans folk despite me personally not being bothered by these insults.

#I also keep seeing modern au aubrey-maturin art#that makes me wish I could draw and thereby contribute#unfortunately I can't even *write* modern aus generally. but I like transferring character dynamics from place to place in my brain#and I feel like I could do a university AU very nicely if I could do AUs at all#because I have had rowers in my class with as far as I could tell jack's exact personality#(unfortunately it has to be a US university AU because (a) that's what I know and (b) afaik nobody else does randomly assigned roommates)#(and I cannot pass up the opportunity for randomly assigned roommates.#OR RATHER#for 'you seem more or less human - quick let's request each other so we don't have to go into potluck'#I think that works best)#(but maybe they are both international students anyway. that works fine. & therefore extremely alarmed by potluck [can't say they're wrong]#sophie is a sorority girl. english major I think. and I can see her so clearly#(she's the part I want to draw)#she's not that into the high-octane social schedule her sorority expects her to have#but her pushy mother was a member and it is Unthinkable that sophie should not be#and a lot of the other girls are sweet :) so it's fine :) she says#feel like she has roommate issues (unlike her original self she is able to live away from mrs williams so this makes up for that)#so she's always over in jack and stephen's room. people who know her tangentially sometimes gossip about which one she's actually dating#(at that particular moment it is actually neither of them she's just hanging out with stephen)#diana freed from the shackles of 19th century womanhood creates even more and weirder drama than in canon#idk I just want to see the plot of post captain played out over text message#don't ask me HOW idk HOW i just want it#stephen is a biology major/pre-med obvs. if he can survive organic chemistry#jack is some kind of engineering major. So, I feel like I’m losing my mind. I keep seeing metas about how Aziraphale wants Crowley to return to Heaven and be an angel again because he wants them to be on the same side/be good/change/etc., etc., etc. but I don’t see that at all. I actually see it as the very opposite.
Aziraphale loves Crowley just as he is. But there’s something more. Something huge.
Aziraphale loves Crowley and because he is an angel who is stuck in seeing things as black and white, he constantly praises Crowley for being nice. For being good. For being kind.
Aziraphale has watched Crowley on and off for 6,000 years. He watched him thwart the plans of Heaven and Hell because it was unjust. He spared the lives of innocents. He did small things that made Aziraphale happy just because (like making Hamlet successful and saving valuable books). And because Aziraphale sees things in black and white, he sees all the things Crowley has done as nice, as good, as kind.
Crowley vehemently attests he’s not nice or good or kind.
He’s not exactly wrong nor is he lying when he says this. When Crowley spares goats during a cruel bet over a righteous man and swallowing laudanum to prevent a suicide, when he prevents Armageddon by working with Aziraphale and stopping the Anti-Christ from being the Anti-Christ, he’s not doing the nice/good/kind thing.
He’s doing the right thing.
Crowley chooses to do the right thing without hesitation. He is better than all of Heaven and Hell who have callous and dispassionate view of all existence because he questions, because he makes choices. Crowley sees the world for all its messiness and he sees himself. He sees a place where he fits in. He sees the blurred edges.
And Aziraphale sees that, even if seeing the blurred edges is hard for him.
But here’s the thing that Aziraphale can’t voice.
It’s the reason why he told Crowley about being allowed to return to Heaven and become an angel again. He doesn’t want Crowley to change. He doesn’t think Crowley is flawed. Or not enough.
It’s something that is so monumental that it cannot be put into words. Because to put it into words would be more than blasphemy. It’s down right unthinkable for anyone in Heaven, Hell, or Earth to say what Aziraphale knows deep in his soul.
God was wrong to cast out Crowley.
Aziraphale believes Crowley can/should return to Heaven because he knows that Crowley should never have fallen in the first place. He wants him to be forgiven because when Crowley fell it was unjust. Aziraphale is trying to correct a mistake. He’s trying to do the right thing.
Yes, Crowley would never accept returning to Heaven. And Aziraphale was wrong to even suggest it (although that conversation is another can of worms to unpack).
Aziraphale loves Crowley. He loves him exactly as he is. He doesn’t want him to change. Aziraphale knows that Crowley the best of all of them. He wants to change Heaven because of it. Because God was wrong and Aziraphale knows it.
Aziraphale may have difficulty seeing beyond black and white, but when it comes to Crowley he sees everything crystal clear and in vivid color.

Okay but so much of the character of Sam Vimes is influenced by him being a former alcoholic tho. I don’t think it’s possible to discuss his unbreakable moral code without also discussing his addiction.
There is significant parallels between how he does not touch alcohol EVER starting from Men at Arms and every other ways that he holds himself accountable in the books.
One minute late to storytime with his child would be one minute too much, because once you excuse one minute late then you can excuse five, ten, and then fifteen minutes late. -> one drink is too many drinks because one drink « tends to arrive in five glasses ».
« If you do a bad thing for a good reason you’ll do it for a bad one », « If one part of the machine breaks down it all breaks down » and « who watches the watchman? Me. » are all different ways of saying that Vimes cannot allow himself to make even one exception in how he behaves. Will not, yes, and that’s very admirable, but this will not is the result of a CAN NOT because what would happen if he did is not, in fact, unthinkable. On the contrary, he knows very well what would happen if he did break one of his many rules, and this is exactly why he doesn’t break them.
« One drink is one too many » is basically the center of his character’s moral code. And it hits so hard because he’s not being rigid for the fun of it, he’s like that because he knows. It’s a sliding slope and he’s been on it and at the bottom of it and he KNOWS how quickly it slides.
And it’s so interesting to see how he applies that core concept to all other aspects of his life, cultimating into the guarding dark.

Each story, post or interview I read with a Palestinian after the jabalia massacre seems out of a horror movie, a fantasy that is so far from reality.
You know what the horrible part is? This is real. This is real.
This is our reality now. I cannot fathom the pain, the unthinkable feeling and realization of finding someone you love in literal pieces, or to not find them at all. Israel is stripping them from even saying goodbye.
Ghalia hammad shares about the woman they interviewed live telling her story:
Tumblr media
"A woman interviewed on air said that she thanked God that her son was still holding her hand after the supermarket they were shopping in got bombed. She held his hand tighter and pulled herself up to escape from the rubble... Before she was surprised to find that she was only holding his hand, without the rest of his body"
This is real. It's happening in front of us. Share this. Do not stay silent!

All the news has been so wrenchingly awful on every front that my brain is morbidly churning out horrible despairing thoughts (more than usual).
My brain: Civil war, massacres,  my life is a failure, Ukraine, the hiatus has been so long they’re probably going to announce RWBY is cancelled after v9,  Xinjiang, probably going to die soon, world war, Afghanistan, Roe  -”
Me:  Excuse me WHAT
My brain:  That’s the one that gets to you today?
Me: I was braced for the others!
My brain:  Well start bracing more.

Do you ever stop and think about the absolute merthur bliss that Merlin season 1 is?
Seriously. Consider:
First we have the gayest first meeting in history with lines like 'Do you know how to walk on your knees?' and 'I could take you apart with one blow - I could take you apart with less than that.’ We end the first episode with Gaius referring to Arthur as Merlin's destiny: 'Your destiny is calling. You'd better find out what HE wants.'
Then in the second episode a dragon calls Arthur Merlin's other half: 'A half cannot truly hate that which makes it whole.' Soulmates alert!
3rd episode and the dragon calls them two sides of the same coin. Also Arthur says he can’t imagine giving up his life for someone because he hasn't found the right person to love. Which makes the events of episode 4 even more significant.
4th episode and they both try to die for each other. More than once. Also they are so soulmates that Merlin can see what Arthur is doing while he lays unconscious and sends a light to guide him while MOANING HIS NAME.
5th episode and Arthur is jealous of Lancelot because Merlin seems so enamoured with him but then he develops a crush on Lancelot too and tells him he needs him???? Merlin casually asks Gwen who she'd choose between Arthur and Lancelot like he has that very same dilemma.
Episode 7. Arthur shows some interest in a girl for the first time but only because he is under a spell. Merlin literally kills his love interest and then dives into a lake to save Arthur from drowning and holds him like he is the most precious thing in the world.
Episode 8. Merlin ponders leaving a child to die because he might kill Arthur when he grows up. He says that the boy dying would be bad, but the alternative (Arthur dying) is UNTHINKABLE.
Episode 9. Uther fucking Pendragon gives Merlin his blessing. 'There is a bond between us.' 'I'm glad. Look after him.' (They were so insane for this actually)
Episode 10. Arthur follows Merlin to his village and sleeps on the floor with him and asks questions about his childhood in the quiet of the dark. Merlin overhears Morgana telling Gwen about how much Arthur cares about Merlin. Merlin's mum tells him how obvious it is that Arthur likes him and tells him she has seen how much they need each other. So yeah she basically gives Arthur her blessing too :,)
Episode 11. They try to die for each other again. They literally argue about who is going to die for whom. Arthur wins and a curse is lifted thanks to the love he has in his heart. His love for Merlin saves the day!!!!
Episode 13. Surprise! Merlin tries to give his life for Arthur once more. 'His life is worth a hundred of mine.' He cradles Arthur's head in his lap while Gaius gives him the magic cure and then smiles and laughs filled with relief when he finds out Arthur will live even though that means he will die in his place. When Arthur recovers he says he has this feeling that someone is always watching over him and Uther tells him that he must have a guardian angel. Yes you've heard right they call MERLIN ARTHUR'S GUARDIAN ANGEL.
First season has no subtext it has bold underlined text and I love it SO MUCH.

monster trio x fem reader nsfw formal wear 👀 either way because i’m a sucker for a man in a suit and i know they would be on their knees for a dress
ayeee now that's what we are talking about!! (scurries like a rat to pinterest to find hot men in suit as inspo~)
"all dressed up, just for me" ft. the monster trio!
ft. luffy, zoro, sanji x fem!reader
set-up: hot men in suits; just no other thoughts
warnings: nsfw drabbles; nsfw stuff includes: penetration, dirty talk, them being just a little bit possessive if you squint; MDNI (thankyou very much)
luffy:
Tumblr media
the way luffy would slay this is like unthinkable actually
- his hands are snaking around your waist, fingers digging harshly against the silk you were clad in - ignoring the man in front of you that you were chatting up, he leans in to whisper against the shell of your ear, "come with me, please" - you excuse the man, flashing him a polite smile and then luffy's dragging you by your wrist outside of the ball-room and into the corridor - "luffy-" you moan, words dissolving on the tip of your tongue as he's kissing and bruising the skin on your neck "somebody's gonna see" you whisper he flashes you a grin, "let them" "luffy" you push him away, "somebody's gonna see." - he groaned but nonetheless, he pulled away. then, pulling you by your wrist and walked into the nearest washroom - your back is against the cold wooden door and his fingers are hiking up your gown, letting it pool on your hip "so pretty" thats all he mumbles before he's kissing you again - his fingers pull your panties aside, the pad of his thumb rubbing the bundle of nerves - you moan into his touch, your hands pulling him closer and kissing him harder "luffy" you whimper at his calloused touches "look at you, all dressed up, just for me." he groans, fingers moving faster, "let me fuck you just like this" - fucked you with the dress on - you can never put that dress on again because luffy goes feral every single time. - rip u and ur dress
zoro:
Tumblr media
you heard the man, he said he'd wear something black
- zoro was trying to have some self-restraint. - truly, he was trying. - if trying meant ogling you from across the room as he downed his third glass of whiskey and clenching his jaw whenever another guy's fingers lingered a little too long over your skin, then sure, he was trying - but enough was enough, that dude was getting a little too close and your smile was turning from a genuine one to an uncomfortable one - so, zoro's arm wraps around your waist, his lips pressing a chaste kiss to your neck he whispers, "do you want me to kill him?" and then he's pulling you away, sending the man in front of you a death-glare - you're pressed against the cold balcony wall, the night air painting goosebumps on your skin as zoro presses against you "nobody ever comes here" he reassures as he is bruising your skin "are you su-" he pulls you into a kiss, devouring you whole and shutting you up as his lips trace over yours - and now you are bent over the balcony, your dress bunched up at your hips; your hands are gripping the cool metal as his fingers lace up in your hair and pull you backwards. he slips in and out from behind, whispering dirty nothings in your ear "fu-ck yn" his voice is heavy, mixed with groans and low moans, "look at you, all dressed up just for me" "zoro ngh- shit fuc-" "shh" his finger drags your bottom lip as he drills into you harder, "somebody might hear us" - well, now you know his kryptonite - wear a dress and pray to god he doesn't tear it when he fucks you
sanji:
Tumblr media
hold up, sanji with this slutty waistline i know you all hear me
- he's been pressed up against you all night, hissing insults as soon as other man got too close to you or smiled a bit too much with you or any other thing ever "sanji, you're being ridiculous come on" you whisper as you pull him aside, silently begging him to leave your side for like two minutes and act normal "i cannot help it, darling. look at you" he flashes you a handsome smile "sanji." "awh don't be mad," he leans in, tucking your hair behind your ear and whispering, "i can make it up to you" - and that's how you were stuffed inside a utility closet with sanji pressed up against you - your dress hung barely onto your skin as you chest was exposed and sanji fucked into your cunt, his hands holding you into place against the wall "san- sanji, fuck" "my love, all dressed up, just for me" he whispers as his fingers dig into the flesh of your hips, "takin' me so well, darlin-g" - yeah, he ended up accidentally ripping your dress - its fine tho, he bought you another and fucked you in it too
a/n: this was relatively short but oh my lord my brain isnt working im sorry 🙏🏼

In your asks and other outside-of-comic statements, you seem to draw on parallels to programming a lot when talking about lacrimas.
And this makes me think as a programmer: the primordial rules that are used in Auroras to do magic and lacrimas are part of the primordial language. You are literally telling the primordial's dead bodies what to do, and they obey.
Yet, the difference that comes to my mind is that Primordial was at one point a language actually spoken. Used to communicate in day-to-day life by normal sentient beings. That's quite different from programming languages, which aren't meant to be talked in at all, and are built from the ground up purely to convey a series of precise instructions. They're very formalised and structured. There are no synonyms, no double meanings, no altering of word order, no redundant information etc. It's extremely rigid, much unlike languages people actually talk in, for which a degree of fluidity and ambiguity is essential.
And in Aurora it would seem the latter is being used as the former.
Have you ever thought about this tension/contradiction/conflict? How it affects the world, how it affects your writing, etc?
Or has this distinction never crossed your mind?
Or was this something you have noticed, but never really had the right knowledge to engage with much?
Or any other thoughts on the subject, really
So! This is an interesting thing I have actually thought about.
When the Elder Races were first created, they were born knowing and speaking a language innovatively called the First Language. Every new Young Race is also initially created speaking this language. The language then drifts over the generations, developing into regional dialects and then into separate linguistic descendants if given enough time.
The Ancients spoke a close descendent of the First Language for most of their time in existence, and made a writing system of their own very early on, which has no innate power. But in the early days of the world, the generally accepted story is that a god granted the three elder races knowledge of the written Runic language, which could command the elements. The Ancients acquired it late and used it very sparingly, only for the programming of lacrimas, but for the Elves and Humans living in the depths of the Caves, this was their first and primary writing system. It's even possible that a rare cave-dweller brave enough to venture to the surface was the one who taught the Ancients these runes in the first place.
It's posed an obvious question, of course. Why does this one specific form of writing manifest as a language of magic? Why can it command the dead Primordials? Why is it so well-suited to the phonemes of the First Language that every child of this world is created speaking?
The predominant theory - and, with two living primordials to check with, one which is potentially on the cusp of being proven - is that the First Language and its runic writing system are the language that the Primordials spoke. Its words, written or spoken, can be understood by the remnants of thought that still linger in the sleeping, dead-but-not-entirely-gone primordials that make up the world.
Primordial magic is different from programming in one key way: real computers are entirely unthinking entities. They are not in any way smart - not even smart enough to be stupid. A computer parsing a program cannot observe a missing parentheses and compensate like a human could do in their sleep - it simply fails to parse, because the mathematics don't work out.
Magic in this world is like what every programmer wishes programming could be. Tell the computer what to do, and it might be a little confused, but it'll get the gist. Tell Fire to burn in this direction - Fire, even if it's just running on an echo of a seven-thousand-year-old memory, knows what that means. Tell the wind to printf this statement to this recipient, it'll try to find them and send the message. Tell Life to make this body do what it's doing faster, it can do that. It's simple executions of simple commands, almost reflexive - things that require no complex higher thought from a being that is no longer alive enough to have them. They're not as unthinking as computers, and that means the nuances of language can actually have an effect on them. Some mages think more poetic and emotionally-charged spell invocations can lead to better, more efficient results - an appeal to a long-dead emotion might be easier for the Primordial to execute than an appeal to a half-forgotten complex thought.
When a mage takes direct control of a magical energy and funnels it into an elemental effect, their own higher thought allows the element to do more complicated things - Fire can't transmute on its own like it could when it was alive, but it can when bent to a mortal will. No need to translate a spell into the language of magic when the mage can simply use their own mind to shape the effect. This is the primary advantage mages have over lacrima-users - flexibility, complexity, and speed.
Another interesting factor. Alinua's dynamic with Life demonstrates what a living Primordial's living thought can do when in the hands of a mortal. A normal, simple healing spell cast by anybody but her just accelerates a body's own healing, but with Alinua's guidance steadying Life's hand, they can do much more complicated things of her own free will - things Life knows how to do that no mage knows how to command her to do.

WRETCHED THOUGHTS HAVE ME AT 3AMs
Soap surviving Makarov's shot, but the others thought he died so they left his body to be recovered, but then the recovery team went to get him his body wasn't there. They thought Makarov took his body for soem unthinkable reason.
But actually soap ended up regained consciousness, albeit disoriented and confused and alone. He staggere out of that tunnel himself, looking for anyone or anything familiar. But he was abandoned in a country that wasn't alone. And he was injured, and confused, and scared.
Eventually Eventually he does find help. And years later he's still dealing with the repercussions of taking a bullet to the head, but he's doing mostly okay, stayed in-country. He works a shady job as a private hire mercenary, it's definitely not within the law, but it's good money and he has the skills. Still hasn't contacted the 141. he could have, but they left him. What was he supposed to do with that information? Just forgive them? Oh, he thinks not.
One day the 141 has to return to the city that Makarov murdered soap, they're hunting down a new target. Soap has been hired to take out the same target (unbeknownst to them). They end up running into eachother(perhaps in the same tunnel?), maybe soap got shot or sum by the target (just work with me here bc I need it to work for this)
It's ghost that recognizes soap first.
"Johnny?" It gives soap pause, it takes a moment for his mind to dredge up this memory (it's not been the same since). "You- you're alive? Why didn't you call?" That illicits a wave of anger from somewhere deep inside him. There's blood dripping from his wounds. It splats onto the ground. He pays it no mind.
"Oh yeah, Simon, because that's my first thought when I wake up bleeding from my skull in a subway tunnel with nobody around." That makes Ghost flinch. He packs up his kit. He's still spilling blood. It's whatever, he'll live.
"You're just gonna let yourself bleed out?"
"Yeah. I am." His words come out clipped.
"You just let people hurt you all the time without doing anything about it?" Ghost accuses. As if he had any right to do so.
"You think I ask for it? I didn't ask for any of this shit!" He snaps, "I didn't ask to be shot in the head. I didn't ask to be abandoned in this fucking tunnel. And I certainly didn't ask to lose half my vision, or my hearing, or my goddamn memory. But it happened! And I had to save myself. And I did. Alone. So forgive me, Simon, if it's not 'up to your standard'. I can handle myself." Ghost flinches at the venom in his words, but he couldn't give less of a wee tattie scrap, he snaps the last buckle on his kit and leaves. Not a single glance back. He wants to, but after the shit he's survived? Simon's Johnny might have, but Soap cannot, so he doesn't.

The recent Dracula Daily updates are interesting to me. This book is infamous for being about the vampiric Horrors, as defined by their sexual immorality and hedonism; unlike our Heroes who are proper and British and christian. And yet...here we see the horrors being compounded and enabled by the rigid social structures emphasizing morality. And for all Bram Stoker's biases, I think that was intentional.
Firstly, the horror is compounded by the Need for Propriety. Lucy is sleepwalking, in nothing but her nightgown! How awful! So awful it is unthinkable as an option to Mina until she sees undeniable proof Lucy left the house. When that is proven true, "ever growing fear chilling my heart" Mina feels turns to "a vague, overmastering fear obscured all details." She then runs through the streets and finally turns to the cliffs, not fearing like Lucy's mother, to see her in danger of falling of the cliffs, but simply fearing to see her safe in their favorite seat—exposed to all the town.
She in fact sees in shadowy detail, an unidentified man leaning over Lucy. Yet..the whole update is strewn with Mina's massive and unfortunately justified fear for her friend's reputation, maybe more than her safety. Did someone take advantage of Lucy, enact some violence or violation of her while she was sleepwalking? Irrelevant, compared to the question: will anyone see them and assume they were up to some promiscuity? After all, she can't help but be "thinking how the story would become distorted—nay, infallibly would—in case it should leak out." There is the psychological horror on top of the nights events, which were traumatic enough.
An indictment of the present state of late Victorian values and their strict judgments already. But then. The consequence of our young heroines being unable to share their story is that Dracula continues to work unnoticed. He will get more victims, he will continue to grow in power and terrorize Lucy and whomever else he wants. Just like Jonathan being trapped in an increasingly abusive work contract because he feels he must stay to the strict matters of politeness [an imbalance of power that work relationships had then and continue to fucking have], here Lucy and Mina are trapped in very clear physical danger because they cannot share the predator hunting them without surely being accused of being a liar and a whore.
Of course, the loved ones of our protagonists are not of that malicious nature at all. If only they could talk to each other freely, Jonathan and Arthur and Lucy's other suitors would obviously not blame her. And Mina, or likely anyone, would help Jonathan recognize the red flags as what they were. But such close communication is impossible given the heavy expectations of the day.
Social standards were very bad and restrictive in 1897, and I think Bram Stoker consistently criticizes how they are with his novel, even while it serves as a cautionary tale against immorality. The solution to sexual abuse and immorality, in his words, is not punishing people for suffering from them or talking about them. I think he is saying this masterfully, as well, by allowing the audience to feel the visceral fear and helplessness through the perspective of the narrators so closely. Unlike many novels of the time which had people near the protagonist serve as cautionary tales and indictments of society, he forces the reader into those shoes through intimate first person narration.
Anyway. Good chapters, huh. Sadly still relevant.

so just to confirm, jikookers genuinely believe that in an extremely homophobic military system and country that just reaffirmed the illegality of any form of homosexual interaction during enlistment (to the point that they can face a prison sentence), two queer individuals in a gay relationship would put themselves, their relationship, and their careers at risk by enlisting in the same camp together through the buddy system in which they will have to be together essentially at all times surrounded by other soldiers, supervisors etc for 18 months? there is no private time or sneaking off in the military so jikookers genuinely think that while already dealing with the stress and difficulty of enlistment within itself, jimin and jungkook would subject themselves to an extra stressor of controlling their emotions and actions with each other at all times for that long? like you all actually think they said “yeah fuck it we’d rather be by each others side while facing the risk of getting caught, sent to prison, and having our careers destroyed instead of being separated for just 18 months out of our whole lives”. like how do u think they’d even remotely survive those 18 months?
***
You know, when you put it that way I think you have a point. It's ludicrous to think two queer men can co-habit in the same unit without climbing all over each other and outing themselves. Jikookers must've been deaf, blind, all thinking faculties out to lunch when Jungkook talked about how Seven is autobiographical (the female subject in the song not being just a technicality). Expecting Jungkook of all people to go days, weeks, and months on end without fucking his main squeeze is kinda nuts ngl. Especially when everybody knows gay men are overly promiscuous, deviant, sex-addicted sons of Lucifer who just happen to look good in perms and eyeliner. One glance at all that cake Jimin got in the back and Jungkook will start keening like blue-balled bonobo before jumping him in broad daylight. Right? Perhaps it's a wonder jikook survived 10 years in the spotlight while being in the most hyper-visible group in a homophobic society, even representing their homophobic country in official capacities.
What good is a relationship if you cannot have sex for any period of time, after all? Can you even call that a relationship?
Also, your point about how there's no private time in the military is a godsend because it just reminded me of a curious phenomenon that happened this year. I noticed it happened maybe two or three times this year when ARMYs and even people tangentially related to ARMYs collectively hallucinated seeing Seokjin and Hoseok outside the military base. In fact, this is what's convinced me beyond all reasonable doubt that BTS's fandom is a cult.
Anyway, I'm rambling.
Jikookers must be dumb, high, or both to think it's a good thing for jikook to possibly mean more to each other and still choose to enlist together under the Buddy program. Clearly it's unthinkable for a couple to weigh the strength they could gain by being together, as more important than the risk of being caught in an explicitly compromising situation. It's silly of jikookers to think companionship can happen in all sorts of ways even while in the military; and flat out ridiculous of them to believe that jikook at the end of the day started out as friends, have been through some of their most life-defining moments together, and are still one of the closest pairings in BTS.
Thank you for taking the time to share such an enlightening opinion with me, Anon. Your ideas were persuasive and yes, you have me convinced. It is impossible for jikook to be jikooking in the military ergo jikook must not exist.

“My reporting on stalking began in 2018, when I launched a national anti-stalking campaign, Unfollow Me, at my former employer Vice, in partnership with the stalking advocacy service Paladin. Using freedom of information laws, I found that more than 60 women had been murdered by stalkers in a three-year period, despite having reported them to the police.
Alice Ruggles, Shana Grice, Molly McLaren. I cannot forget their names. Their last moments haunt me. How Ruggles’ ex-boyfriend slashed her throat with a knife as she cowered from him in her bathroom. How McLaren’s ex-boyfriend stabbed her 75 times in a car park in broad daylight. How Grice’s ex-boyfriend subjected her to unthinkable terror in the months before her death – he let himself into her house and watched her sleeping – before murdering her, and setting fire to her body. All three women reported their stalkers to police, who did next to nothing. Grice, unbelievably, was fined by Sussex police for wasting police time. It’s been six years now, and all I see is the same police apologies and hand-wringing. Nothing has changed.
What I believe underpins all of this is a rich seam of misogyny. Men – and it is mostly men who are stalkers, although of course they can be victims too – who feel entitled to women’s time, their attention, their bodies and sometimes even their lives. And police forces that regard women as time-wasters and their complaints as histrionics, for objecting to this. Stalking victims deserve to live in safety and peace. Right now, as a society, we are failing them.”
