Jaune found himself sitting in his dorm gaming with ruby and surprisingly Weiss was with them, watching as the two were playing "street clash revolve" with jaune winning 3 matches as it was a best of six. With ruby winning 4 matches.

Jaune: Oop! Oop! Here it comes ruby!

Ruby: oh you think?! Aight bring it vomit boy!

Jaune proceed to tap a chain of buttons.

Up forward and then B as jaune shouted with enthusiasm.

Jaune: KANE OVERDRIVE!

On the TV screen the letters K. O. plastered the screen as Ruby groaned but also laughed as her and jaune fist bump. With Weiss watching in awe.

Ruby: GG jaune, GG.

Jaune: what you mean GG? We only got two rounds left before one of us wins.

Ruby: unfortunately I gotta get ready.me and yang will be heading to our dad's cabin for our break, and I gotta grab my bags and get ready, me and her will leave in an hour.

Jaune: awe, well I understand

Weiss: you sure you two and your father couldn't reschedule?

Jaune and Ruby had to do a double take as they looked at Weiss who they completely forgot was there.

Weiss:... Look I'm on the edge of my seat and I want to see who wins!

Jaune and Ruby look at eachother.

Jaune: are you sure we aren't sharing a dream?

Ruby: definitely. But regardless sorry Weiss but I gotta go, if don't who knows when me and yang will be able to go again.

Weiss sighed and nodded.

Weiss: very well, I do hope you and Yang enjoy your time back with your father.

Ruby:.. thanks weiss

Ruby walked out as jaune and Weiss sat on the formers bed with Jaune just looking at Weiss.

Jaune: hey um.. real talk, but why have you been so interested in what me and ruby do lately.

Weiss: oh just curiosity, plus I figured it do me some good to get to hang out with my leader and her friend.

Jaune looked at her as he put his controller away and fully turned to her.

Jaune: it's Bleiss isn't it?

Weiss just sat there before groaning.

Weiss: i don't know why but whenever I try to be Alone she constantly pops up and bugs me over and over again, its getting frustrating and since i cant be alone any more-

Jaune: you started hanging out with me and ruby?

Weiss nodded and looked away somewhat ashamed.

Jaune: so I assume you dont actually find what we do to hang out interesting?

Weiss: at first yes but just being around you two, there's this energy you give off that is just.. nice to be around, your like air purifiers... That was a bad analogy I'm sorry.

Jaune just chuckled but waved his hand.

Jaune: I think I understand. But outside of that.. Weiss this is your sister we are talking about. And neither of you have seen eachother for...

Weiss:... 5 years.

Jaune: 5 years, and from what i can tell, she wants to atleast catch up.

Weiss: it's not like I don't know that! Its just- why can't she just be-

Weiss: loud, foul mouthed, and is flirting with basically every man here?

Jaune: yeah that. All I'm gonna say is this, siblings may come from the same family, but they don't always have the same lessons as us... I can't believe I actually used the advice saph gave me.

Weiss chuckled as she just looked at the knight. The two hadn't completely become friends but jaune hoped they were getting there, and so far from he could tell.. they were.

Then footsteps are heard as one Belamere "bleiss" noir givrése. Weiss Schnee's twin sister. Her attire still the same biker aesthetic as ever with her looking around the room, before seeing jaune.

Bleiss: ah you jaune I wanna talk to you for a second.

To both Jaune and Weiss's her tone was less rude and more... polite.

Weiss: where the hell was this?!

Jaune: uh sure just give me a second.

Bleiss: take your time but this is rather important.

Weiss: WHERE THE HELL WAS THIS?!

Jaune adjusted himself as he followed Bleiss outside the room only to be pinned to the wall as he yelped before being hushed by the twin of his snow angel.

Bleiss: I need your help arc, my dear sister and I have obviously not gotten along. So I need you to help me out here since you, Weiss, and that ruby girl, are buddy-buddy now. Got it?

Jaune simply nodded as Bleiss smiled.

Bleiss: good. And If you do well enough who knows.. I may give you a taste of people out of your leag-

Jaune removed her hand from his mouth rather calmly as he spoke.

Jaune: don't even think about it, I'm doing this because Weiss is my friend, and I prefer her not having to deal with any problem that can be solved. I don't care what you give in exchange.

Bleiss:.. that's surprisingly noble. Here I was thinking he was just a loser going for women out of his league.

Jaune: are we done now?

Bleiss: hm? Oh yes, I'll be going now, till then, noble knight~

Jaune raised an eyebrow at the nickname as Bleiss walked away with a smirk.

Bleiss: perhaps this place is nothing like vacoue, and if that's the case this will be lovely~

And that end this installment of the growing story between Bleiss and Jaune.

⬆️(Ah poo, Im an over thinker

hey there, no worries y’all- i love seeing my reader’s enthusiasm and it’s reassuring to see continued interest in the series. i’d been hoping to have BOTH of the final ‘from eden’ chapters done before summer. but i have to admit, progress on the next chapter hasn’t been as forthcoming as i’d expected, for a couple reasons.

the first is health-related. not to be too TMI, but i recently got diagnosed with crohn’s disease. my symptoms started ages ago but have really ramped up in the last couple months, and the diagnosis was a lengthy and involved process (started the hunt back in november, presumptively diagnosed after a colonoscopy in feb, definitively diagnosed when biopsies came back over spring break) and even when i was simply waiting for results, it occupied a lot of my mental capacity. and ofc it happened to line up with me turning 26 and needing new insurance, which has caused lots of delays. anyone dealing with the american health care system while chronically ill will tell you it’s a frustrating, exhausting process. as of right now, i’m still waiting to start treatment 🫠

but honestly, even more than that, the biggest thing stopping me from writing is… me? 😂 so there’s this thing that happens after i post a chapter that’s like… decision paralysis? except it’s just that sometimes, i literally can’t bring myself to start the next chapter. it’s like, i have this unfounded fear that all my writing up until this point has been some magical fluke out of my control, and i’m not capable of ‘pulling it off’ again. i guess you could call it a form of imposter syndrome (which i already encounter enough in my vet school life). it gets worse after posting something that was a particularly massive undertaking or was insanely well-received bc i’m scared i won’t be able to top it- even though the impact of storytelling is supposed to be cohesive, and it’s unrealistic for every chapter to be ‘bigger and better’ (what does that even mean?) than the last one because they serve different purposes at different points in the story. i know this, rationally, but that doesn’t stop the irrational fear of failure from making me avoid writing.

i’m not sharing this to make excuses or garner sympathy, or fish for compliments, and certainly not to make anyone feel guilty for asking about updates. i just feel like maybe this will resonate with anyone who has the same experience. and also to share hope, because despite how often this feeling rears its ugly head, i’ve still been able to push through and get back to writing- and i’m always very happy with the result. sometimes it just takes longer than i’d like (pro tip: writing on ur phone is less intimidating, tho it’s more of a pain). but in any case, the next chapter of ‘from eden’ is well underway and i still hope to have the series done before summer’s end^^

For alchemists, i think ingo would probably fit armstrong, idky but his loudness reminds me of him, tho the idea of ingo stripping to express his enthusiasm kills me. Alphonse himself is a viable option, both calmer than their respective brothers, both considered their impulse control, but just as cunning as their sibling. As for emmet, since i chose al for ingo, the most obvious option for him would the fullmetal alchemist himself! One of the reasons I always loved comics of emmet just absolutely wreaking havoc, going on an endless search for legendary pokemon, and even breaking reality to reach his brother and bring him back, reminded me alot of ed's perseverance in caring for his brother as well, and dedicating his life in bringing his body back, it just hits the spot, right in the feels

As for the sins, if i were to assign one of the sins to either twins, id pin either pride or greed for emmet, its a close tie but i cant decide which fits better, bcz look at him! That dedication and need to battle others and finding an experienced trainer to flaunt his abilities to, just gives me those vibes. For ingo, id say sloth, they just share that image of looking "weak or boring" (at least judging by first impressions in meeting him in PLA) but turns out to be, if not, the strongest of all opponents

i find that the "vanilla" unity daggerfall install is almost more accessable than morrowind is for newcomers as long as you know to buy a cart. when i walked into that dungeon i felt my enthusiasm for daggerfall waning, but walking out in almost full dwarven gear with elvish to supplement the rest i felt i could play it forever. i find daggerfall is most similar to skyrim of all the bethesda games ive played. havent played arena or shadowkey or redgaurd, none of the mobile games or elder scrolls online. man i fucking hate elder scrolls online with a passion, because i just feel the lore is fake, its fake lore and it taints everything else. dragons could have carried skyrim, i think one overlooked fact is that skyrim feels unfinished, there are hints of something great with wolves attacking rabbits for food in set piece encounters like there is a working eco system, you come accross burnt out villages, and in the trailers dragons were seen in gameplay picking up mammoths and flying off with them. but in practice i have never had a dragon pick me up ever, nor seen one pick anything up, and dragon encounters feel static and largely infuriating. they dont feel like animals, nor do they feel like godly beings, they feel like cliff racers, honestly this is forgivable. dragons do attack towns sometimes, thats kind of neat, they did some cool stuff with dragons in general but they are too numerous, but the main issue is i feel the game intended for the player character to be able to use dragons as a means of transportation and combat aid, you are learning their language, you talk to a dragon who just chills in a specific spot, you even ride a dragon in a cutscene to the final boss area of the game to eventual fight the boss who is a dragon, you get a dragon shout that lets you summon the dragon you flew in on, hell yes, then you kill the boss your reward is TRASH ITS NOTHING, the shout just makes the dragon show up on the overworld and kill badguys flying around for a minute its useless basically, the dlc comes out and you fight another ancient dragon born who flies dragons, it unlocks the ability for you to shout and summon a dragon to fly on but its fucking trash, if flies around in circles that you sort of control, you cant use it for transportation basically and its just an overworld summon. but the point is that was CLEARLY the intended end game all along they just couldnt make it work, imagine at the end of skyrim after defeating alduin, your blades quest isnt so much a radiant sort of randomly generated dragon slaying quest, but the remaining dragons become a larger and more constant overworld threat, and you come up with a reason for the ground forces to become more threatening in the overworld as well, how about this they ally with the giant camps across skyrim and more spring up, the formerly nuetral giants are now fully hostile and have strange ancient weapons from their weird culture, and now you can actually ride your own dragon as transportation to take on this increased threat from both the air with other dragons and on land, you can just make them set pieces like the civil war slop, and one buy one with the help of your new endgame abilities you wipe out the remaining dragons AND giants, until there are none left. or how about a shout that summons some dude

I’m aroace! And even if I wasn’t, I don’t want to have kids of my own because I don’t want to force a goddesses bloodline onto a child who never asked for it. Plus with the whole dissolution of the monarchy thing it’s not like I have any real external motivation to get married. I’m perfectly happy with my work and my students, they’re more than enough for me!

But unfortunately the goddess bloodline has split off so many times in the past I doubt my refusal to take part will prevent someone else in the future from suffering because of it. But at least I can take control of ending this branch.

I've hit a turning point finally. I'm not even sure where to start. Between going back and forth with Angel for 4 days now, feeling like I have no one to share what I'm excited about with and being too sore and tired to move. I can say I'm content. Because I feel like I'm finally ready to stop giving other people so much of my power. I've been building myself up all summer trying to heal my hurt and I'm at a really good place mentally, as well as environmentally. I've still been trying to get Angel to come over and I know I've said this before, but at this point, I don't even want him anymore. It's too much work and I want to be chased actually. I can't believe I spent all week trying to prove to him and beg him to come over. Especially after all the development I've had this week with Reveal and becoming such a better and more confident dancer. I even am gaining the courage to go out and battle next weekend. I'm not mad, just disappointed in the lack of respect I'm showing myself by still belittling and humiliating myself in front of Angel still after all this time. God is protecting me from him and the only reason I'm hell bent against that is because I cant accept the rejection from Angel that makes me feel a lack of control. But as I sit here tonight and really vent out my true feelings, I can honestly say I'm ready to let go and be over it. I don't care that I made myself look desperate. I don't care if he shows his lame ass friends what I sent him or if he talks shit about me to them, I don't care that he doesn't want me. I'm so tired of giving those fucking losers all of my power. Because compared to the life I'm living and headed towards, thats what Angel and his friends are... fucking losers. The events in my life week just prove I don't have time to be entertaining anything not on my level and it's only holding me back from the blessings Gods has for me. I don't even feel ashamed or embarrassed. I just don't care anymore. I'm exhausted from chasing him. As far as the shit with Jimmy, I need to protect my energy. As far as my mom, Idk. They both just tie into the bigger picture that I feel like I have no one to share with even after how many friends and family I've proven to have over the summer. But at this point I'm just ready to accept it. I don't even want to share my excitements over the things that happen in my life because the lack of enthusiasm just crushes the joy that came with it. And like I said before I just want to protect my energy. I'm dying behind it because everyday I wake up and thats the things I'm excited to create and cultivate, my energy. It sucks that I give people so much power to take it or dwindle it down. It sucks that I feel like even though I live a blessed life and people love to be around and experience my energy, but no one actually values it enough to help nurture it or keep it around. But I'm at the stage of acceptance over what I can't control anymore. I'm breathing out. I'm ending my summer on a high note. Protecting my peace and nurturing the things that I can control, like how I feel about myself and the life I'm creating for myself. Everything else, I know God will do justice by me.

#vent time #just ignore this i just need go get it out somewhere #i wish i loved my parents #i really really do #but all they do is mock and belittle me for shit i like or things i cant even control #they mock me for my laugh. my enthusiasm for whatever media im inhaling then. everything and anything is fair game to them #its annoying and tiring #and because of this i cant tell them i dont want to be an engineer #that i'll be lightyears happier as an english major #sure space and the mechanics of flight are cool. but so is brain surgery and zoology #and you don't see me majoring in either of those #writing makes me happy #its one of the few things that does #and its one of the few futures i can see myself in where i dont end up dead before graduation #and im trying to compile everything and anything i could need to convince them to let me change majors #but its so impossibly difficult since im swamped in my school work and everything just seems so pointless #since i know theyll hate it and fight me every step of the way to the point ill probably just kill myself so im not stuck in a major i hate #maybe then theyll see how wrong they are and things will be easier for my brother when he gets to college #and i'm yelling into the void of a public platform where ~200 people can possibly see this #wonderful #if youve read this far im so sorry you felt obligated to
