I was thinking of maybe revamping Moody Monday a little but. What if I share the new theme I’ll focus on on the first Monday of the month, and then share one song everyday for a week. I think it'd be really cool to make it an activity to go out and find people with OCs and draw them a fanart.

Sometimes it's hard to get people to love your OCs or ask questions or engage with them. I think it's mainly because there will always be a struggle to bond to a character that has little to no media that would help foster any fondness. Or not enough, I guess? It's hard to create a lot when you're just one person. But it's also hard to jump into something new, especially if there's the chance you might not like it. Getting into something is tough (aus are probably so popular for a reason lol). It might be tougher still to like a character with limited things to look at, and who there really aren't many people to engage with about it, or there isn't the capacity for some things like media analysis for.

But people love the characters they create so much! They put so much thought and effort into some, or they just really enjoy some aspect deep enough to keep creating. I think that's worth celebrating! And maybe it's the reddit migration and how many people i see genuinely enjoying the community here and participating, but I miss when i did that, and had it. And part of me wonders if I could start engaging people on some posts, and doing things that again. I want to, I think. And right now I've been very into original stuff and creating characters and stories!

Fanart feels like it'd be a pleasant surprise too, especially for people who might not have the much reach yet for their characters. I know if someone did for me, I'd be over the moon about it. I feel inspired to try at least, so hopefully I can start doing that, and seeing what happens ^^

#i think the hardest part will be finding some without making it a post like ''show me ur ocs and ill try and draw them'' #but i really love the idea of community interaction again. i miss it so much #i miss rping too. i keep wanting to come back to it but I'm trying to be reaponsible and get a job first #because I'd hyperfixate on replies and writing and then never apply again lol #but once i have a job to save me from capitalism #i have so many plans #and i hope i get that community and engagement again #maybe until then I'll just keep streaming and work on some surpriae oc gift fanarts to help spread some !!!! feelings ^^ #tristan rambles

Oh nonnie, if only you could see my working timeline document!! It alone is 16 pages long and that with less of 1/4 of it fleshed out.

As of right this second, the i'll ride series goes as follows

i. i'll ride in this life with you (1986-1988) ii. unnamed but centered on the Gulf War (1989-1991) iii. ask the lonely (1998-2002) - this will be high school Bradley iv. an unnamed bradley-centric fic (~2000) - college Bradley v. unnamed (years undecided) - war on terror, not mav/ice centric vi. separate ways (2004-2006) vii. danger zone viii. more than a feeling

danger zone will be The Mission but I need to tweak it because the movie timeline really doesn't make any sense for multiple reasons, mostly because you literally cannot be a Lieutenant in the US Navy for 10+ years they will kick your ass out but I digress.

this also assumes that my muse cooperates of course, but I have decent chunks of each of the above written. It's subject to change for obvious reasons but that's the current plan! (and no, they will not be as long as i'll ride, she's a behemoth)
