there is one commenter on my youtube vids who seems like such a dumbass (affectionate). they regularly watch bg3 vids, they are clearly invested, they comment, they ask how to do things. but apparently they don't bother to talk to anyone unless a quest already told them to do it. They were confused why they missed Rolan as a character, why he didn't appear in Act 2 and Act 3 but turns out they never talked to him in Act 1. They asked how to recruit the owlbear cub because they didn't talk to any of the goblins in the goblin camp so they just missed the cub entirely. lmao it goes on like this... this is the same commenter.

I saw a post today on Twitter that said something like “if people don’t like you because you’re intense, they don’t deserve you” and all I could think about is how I’ve 100% seen the opposite worded as “some people are just too intense to be around, cut them out of your life”. That’s all I see with these self-love posts I see all over social media. Someone out there is saying the exact opposite of what you’re saying with the same cutsie heart emojis next to them, and people are agreeing with them too.

Like I think instead of saying people need to love you despite your problems, or acknowledging that you have problems and need to better yourself, how about instead we just acknowledge that some people will stay in your lives and other won’t, and both are perfectly okay. Some days you’ll be your perfect self, and others you’ll be someone’s piece of shit. We’re all just humans, I don’t think there’s some loading screen tip that’s going to help you be a better person.
