He’s probably the one who’s very invested with tumblr and would be really influenced by it, so he’d have tumblr lingo when he talks, and he’d probably reference tumblr specific memes shhshs

I imagine Blades would definitely be popular in the tumblr community

Blurr: one blog, no tags, chaos is real

Probably got blocked for having a blog that looks like a bot at first and he got so confused by it, then later changed the theme of his blog for something better

So I’m really enjoying all the ideas and asks I’ve been getting so far! I’ve been having a lot of fun writing them for my fellow ghoul simps so if anyone has requests for our lovely cowboy ghoul, I would love to fulfill them the best that I can! 🥰

I write:

Smut: this is my main specialty ngl, I write it with or w/o plot but mostly for fem/gender neutral readers. I don’t kink shame by any means, but I personally don’t write anything for water sports or anything dealing with bodily excrement, the only fluids I write are blood, spit and cum (lol that’s funny to say, never thought I’d put that in a sentence but here we are!) I don’t usually do full Non-Con unless it is for background of the character, I am open to Dub-con, otherwise I’m open to pretty much everything else! I absolutely DO NOT write anything dealing with minors, everyone in my smut is 18+ and I will not sway on that.

Fluff: mostly domestic fluff but I’m down to broaden my horizons and do something different!

Angst: I got trauma y’all, I’m down to write for just about anything lol. Love a good, deep story and a nice sob now and again.

I write only for the ghoul right now because he is the only one I feel I have the best judge of character on for the show, and to be fully honest, is my main huperfixation at the moment. 💀 But I absolutely love our man John Hancock from Fallout 4 too, so I’m down to write for him!

I am rather new to Fallout lore as a whole, whether it’s the games or the TV series and everything else in between so please be patient and gentle with me if I do not have a full understanding of something or if I picture things incorrectly I am open to constructive criticism to make my works better! That being said, I try my best to be well versed in the characters/things I write about! So if I am not already familiar with something, I will learn! I just ask for some patience. ❤️

Fluff fic: I’ve only written a few that are solely fluff, but my favorite has got to be There’s Sand Everywhere! It’s a fic where the ninja go to the beach and it’s pure chaos and a wild ride. I love it and totally recommend it if you want something lighthearted.

Angst fic: it’s hard to pick because there’s so many lol. I think my favorite overall is probably rainy days, an introspective piece covering Lloyd, Jay, and Nya over the seasons, but that one isn’t actually too angsty- there’s bits of angst, sure, but the overall mood of the piece is pretty upbeat. I’d say my favorite one that I consider true angst is wait, a work that delves into the complicated relationship of pre-child’s play Lloyd with his dad.

Multichaptered fic: well I guess I don’t have much choice for this one- it’ll have to be For the Romping and the Roaring as that’s my only one currently (well, there’s also its sequel For the Clawing and the Caging, but that’s incomplete and on hiatus right now while I figure out the hellhole that is high school, whatever the heck is going on with my writing abilities right now, and deal with the death grip my new huperfixation has on my brain). Even though it’s my only option, I genuinely am quite proud of it though. It’s an AU where the ninja are all hybrids that are basically being kept in a lab. This fic (and this series in general) do have more intense angst and themes than my other works, though.

AU: well, my only current fic that is 100% AU, no canon universe at all, is the hybrids series (R&R and C&C) but seeing as I’ve already recommended that, I guess movie!verse technically counts as an AU. I have a few fics of that, but my favorite is probably I’ll chase you to the moon and back. It’s a movie!verse fic (obviously) starring everyone’s favorite anxious bean, Jay! The most fun part about this fic I think was exploring the deviations in the movie!verse personalities from the show ones. They’re so fun to write and hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Last Song? Sweet Sun by Milky Chance. This is one of my top ten albums, it’s so perfect. I nearly lost my mind when they released the acoustic album last year, it’s been on repeat nonstop ever since.

Last show? Naruto Shippuden. My husband and I have been watching through it at breakneck speed. I’d only ever seen the first few seasons of Naruto as a teenager, then picked it back up last year. My husband started watching it with me, said “let’s start from the beginning so I get what the fuck is going on here”, and we’ve gotten through all of Naruto and 6 seasons of Shippuden 😂 he’s never watched through an anime before, so we’re having a lot of fun doing it together.

Currently watching? See above 😂

Currently reading? I’m in the middle of The Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene, which for my schedule and level of concentration means reading a bunch, and then ignoring it for three months. But it’s really a fascinating book, full of all the data you could ever want about the universe. It’s a tad bit out of date with the recent discovery of the Higgs boson, but other than that, it’s a solid deep dive that’s simultaneously understandable without a extensive scientific knowledge.

Current obsession? Surprise surprise, I’ve been huperfixating on Naruto. I haven’t watched it since I was 15, and it’s been really comforting seeing the characters that I really related to and saw as sources of comfort still have that spark for me. Plus I’m finding more characters that I’ve grown to love (Sai), and some that were instant (Yamato, Hidan, and Deidara). It’s been somewhat of a healing experience going through the show with the characters aged up, and also seeing it from the perspective of someone that’s around the same age as Kakashi and the other jonin.

Unrelated obsession? I’ve been pretty keen on collecting records lately, I just ordered the last two Low Roar albums that I was missing (god it hurts so bad to get them under these conditions). Ive been trying to write again too. I’ve also been doing a lot of yoga, if you can call that an obsession. I’ve been pretty exhausted lately, so my energy for obsessions has gone down 😅

Me: I think maybe my anxiety? *insert me likely over explaining that they happen most during heightened emotion*

Them: …that sounds like autism…

Me: *builds up contained energy* WOULDNT YOU KNOW. I have a theory. *grins* *builds up more contained energy*

*we both continue to talk for 80 minutes about autism. My theory as to the evidence that stacks up as to why I could be considered autistic. Why people say I’m not. Why the fact that I do not have trauma around how my brain functions would make me look different from the massive amounts of studies composed of a very specific demographic that I do not fall into whatsoever. Why the way I was raised by an empathetic mother and observed my father(I suspect he’s autistic) as my base role models. The fact that I was allowed to express myself and was not told to contain myself or be different. EVEN the girl who was so annoyed at us for getting into such a good convo instead of focusing about 80% energy into our card game instead said “well it’s a spectrum so..” (in context she was supporting that despite some traits of mine that would push people away from saying I’m part of the spectrum. That the evidence those people use can’t be definitive)

I forgot where I was going.

But fuck I’m excited and geeking out. I’ll just share the last random rambles :)

We haven’t even gotten to talking about my huperfixation on my world(one I built in my mind).

Oh. I mentioned that I mostly would trust people from the community that would suggest I’m on the spectrum instead of just a test or doctors because I’m not part of the demographic tests have been based on. So anyways. I was so happy. Also the person who I had most of the convo with mentioned that she was diagnosed with ADD and ADHD but thinks it’s actually autism. And suggested something similar. That all my suspected traits that point towards me on the spectrum could be valid put together even if it looks like something else. Because autism is how the brain functions. It’s not an illness.

Also we talked about how my parents didn’t see the use of labels and I got to geek out about how for me I see the use so I can find people who relate to me and people I can connect to.

We also talked about how people with autism/autistic people (whatever your preference) have emotions and express them(just in different ways than neurotypicals and even people who are on the spectrum as well). And so I got excited then too.

So anyways. Lots of stuff

My dad and I watched the original movie together once, I thought it was p fun bc we both like John Carpenter movies like The Thing (even tho John Carpenter sucks). I didn’t think too much of it but I loved Michael and the movie as like a silly spooky movie abt some guy you know andjsjfbdb, it wasn’t until I watched The Boy and like fell in love w Brahms (I WAS DOWN BAD FRRR) and interacted w the community on tumblr and stuff that rhe huperfixation kicked in and I rewatched 1978 Halloween and latched onto Michael as a comfort character that I just began consuming media like Kirby NDJDJSBDHS

💎 are there any fun facts or trivia that you would like to share?

Ok so I don’t have many facts bc I focus more on the fan stuff and not the movie in general but a thin I DO know that I think is super cool is that the cool sound effect in Halloween 2018 they used (it’s in the track The Shape Hunts Alyson or smth) that cool like “RRRRRAAARRR” thing was made using a violin bow on an electric guitar. Though I think Jimmy Page did that too, and my dad said it’s super hard to make that sort of noise on a guitar bc the strings are round and not flat like violin strings msckkscndn. But still!!! Fuckin cool!!!

no, you can’t control your hyperfixations in the sense that you cannot control what you huperfixate on. but you CAN control whether or not you continue to engage with that media (especially after learning it’s harmful) and, surprise, once you stop consuming media, you gradually stop hyperfixating on it.

i don’t mean to sound harsh here but seriously and honestly — read a different book, watch a different show, play a different game, etc, instead of throwing a fit about how your brain chemistry makes it so you HAVE to talk about these bigoted things in front of or, worse, directly to your friends who are hurt by them.

and, furthermore, if you throw a pity party about how mean people are being to you or how ableist, or if you guilt trip people by saying “im such a bad person for [x hyperfixation]”, im going to hit you with a truck. sorry, but please shut the fuck up! i don’t care how bad you feel about loving these creators because they actively hurt me, my friends, my family, and countless people i don’t know <3
