#this post makes no sense to anyone but me but #I'll try to explain #Jin has the features of pivix red basically #red eyes dark black hair etc #when they were younger they definitely had this air around them. and even as an adult i imagine they tend to look mysterious to some #Hence why i said jin is the guy people think Red is #kenji and Danica are 100% based on their chosen legendary #ho-oh and it's light and warmth vs Giratina in its darkness and coldness #and on top of all that jin n red events take place under the same year. as does Kenji n Danica #hopefully all of that made sense lol #r rambles #legendverse #Legendverse! so like. i'm reading this book that was translated cause i couldn't find it in english at the bookstore, and i really want to complain about a nitpick i have about the translation itself but i can't do it properly cause it would be near incomprehensible in english

#i'm gonna do it anyway though #i'll try to explain #so hungarian is one of those languages that adds extra letters to words instead of some prepositions #what i mean is like. 'box' is 'doboz'. and 'in the box' is 'dobozban'. but the thing is with these thingies is that they're different for #words with low and high vowels. like my example was doboz*ban* but say. 'in the food' would be 'étel*ben*' #and another thing is for (usually foreign) words that end with a vowel you don't pronounce you write a dash between them #so 'with anne' becomes 'anne-nel'. okay so we've established that #my problem is that whoever translated the book got some of these wrong. like as an example they talk about people's magazine #and 'they wrote in people' is a thing that is said. and hungarianified that should be people-ban but the translator wrote it as people-ben #which just. sounds wrong. and also there's this person named bea. and 'with bea' was turned into 'beával' which is just NOOOOO #like that is consistent with the hungarian pronounciation of bea but girl. this is english. it should be 'bea-vel' #and these little things are driving me absolutely crazy. i cannot even begin to describe how much lol #like the book's great and the translation is pretty good as far as i can tell but this one thing is bothering me SO much #thankfully the other two books i got today are in untranslated english so. phew lmao #actually it's kinda funny cause i haven't read a translated book in ages and just. the way i could almost perfectly translate it back to #english cause i'm so familiar with actual english writing is really entertaining #oh btw i'm reading red white and royal blue! i'm only like a hundred pages in but it's really fun!! #this got long uhh. sorry nsfsgsg #lavender rambles

the convo ravage and megatron had in slaughterhouse has been rotting my mind for weeks. i love this scene and i hate it at the same time. so much is really silly with it and so much of it is interesting. ravage goes into this conversaton being angry with megatron for abandoning the decepticon cause (and him) and ends it with comforting megatron and reassuring him that he's not a monster. i do not think this is a good thing (it's a very yucky thing, from a certain lens) but i DO think it's interesting.

If we presume that there's a real order of preference between the colors (probably isn't true but let's say it), now we know that black will win over everything: every color personally lost to black, or lost to a color that later lost to black.

What we don't know is that if black tortoiseshell silver blotched tabby bicolor would win over everything on the left side of the bracket. So I can't pronounce it as second until it defeats every color that lost only to black.

Here is the relevant part of the bracket, i highlighted the participants of the second place bracket with yellow.

As you can see, they all lost their respective matches to black AND NOTHING ELSE. This means we can't know how much they'd win against all the other colors.

I think it's more fair and also more interesting if they all have a chance to win the second place, so here we are!
