CHAPTER TWO - DREAMS OF FATE, FAREWELL AND NEW BEGINNINGS.

The past two months had been a relentless parade of dreams for Marc Spector, dreams that twisted through the labyrinth of his fractured soul. His thoughts have long been adrift in the sea of uncertainty that had become his life. Nightmares have always haunted him for most of his life, but it recently came to a point where they had intensified to an unsettling degree. Night after night, his subconscious mind became a battleground for the ever-present specter of his past.

The latest of his living nightmares have been his own death at the merciless hands of Arthur Harrow. He should have been used to the sound of a gunshot by now, but apparently it didn’t prepare him enough for when he was at the receiving end. His fractured soul had been unceremoniously cast into the Duat, the realm of judgment for the ancient Egyptian afterlife. He and his alter, Steven Grant, have stood before Taweret’s watchful eye as she weighed their hearts in the scales on their journey to the Field of Reeds.

Steven made a comment back then of how it should have been Anubis, Marc thought.

To balance their scales and hopefully come back to life, Marc was forced to confront the darkest corners of his past: Randall’s death that spiraled Wendy Spector’s slow descent to madness. The abuse he had suffered during his childhood at the hands of his mother continued to haunt him - the once happy memories of him and his family shattered by his mother’s twisted way of expressing her ‘love’.

But amid the shadows of torment, there was a glimmer of salvation. Steven Grant has finally understood the need for his creation at the dark corners of Marc Spector’s accursed room, having realized that it was Marc’s way of coping with all the combined strong emotions that a small, innocent child wouldn’t have been able to go through. Steven was Marc’s secret joy - the living embodiment of what his younger brother, Randall Spector, could have been had life been kinder.

Through all of their shared history of pain and survival, Marc Spector’s bond with Steven Grant had deepened. They were no longer just two sides of the same coin - they were brothers transcending the boundaries of blood and forever bound in ways that defied explanation. Their connection was no longer a mere confluence of minds; it was a fusion of souls, two halves of a fractured whole. They had weathered death together and returned, their fates irrevocably intertwined.

After rising from the dead and helping to stop Arthur Harrow and Ammit from wreaking havoc in this world, Khonshu fulfilled his end of the bargain to release both him and Steven Grant from their servitude as his avatar - his Moon Knight.

To Marc’s displeasure, however, the nightmares never stopped. Among the myriad dreams that plagued him day after day, one stood out above all others— a dream that seemed more like a forgotten, distant memory.

In this dream, he watched as Steven Grant raised his arms to the heavens. The sky itself yielded to his will, shifting and swirling as if bowing to a higher power. Marc could feel his own life force ebbing away, his connection to Khonshu, the ancient Egyptian god who had granted him his powers, dissipating like grains of sand in a desert storm. Yet, even as he felt himself slipping away, he also felt a divine presence, a heavenly female voice that reached out to him from the depths of his foggy memories.

“It cannot end like this. I will not let you die - any of you”

Marc then felt soft lips descending upon his, a passionate kiss that carried the divine breath of life as it flowed into his lungs. The kisses he shared with Layla couldn’t even begin to compare with the mysterious woman of his dreams. It rendered him breathless as a warm, euphoric sensation seemingly boiled his blood with pure longing for someone he never even recalled meeting.

"Arise, Moon Knight. With the power of the moon, I grant you half of my life."

Marc’s eyes fluttered open, abruptly ending his dream as he bolted upright in his bed. His whole body was drenched in cold sweat, his eyes darted wildly around the dimly lit room as he felt his own heart pounding strongly in his chest. He then reached for the bedside lamp and switched it on, allowing a soft, warm light to fill the dimly lit hotel room where he’s currently staying.

That dream again? Steven asked in Marc’s head, his reflection on the nearby mirror wearing an inquisitive, sleep-deprived look.

“The very same”, Marc shook his head, finding himself chuckling in disbelief. Every night that ended with that shared kiss under the moonlight left him with more questions than answers.

Why did these dreams haunt him? What do they actually mean? And who even was the enigmatic woman appearing in his dreams for the umpteenth time in a row now?

Marc glanced at the nightstand clock, reading 5:58 AM of today’s time. He could no longer sleep after the unsettling dream he had, so he decided to get ready for the day ahead. He busied himself with the mundane tasks - taking a long, hot shower, the steam and warmth helping to clear his mind, at least momentarily, of the enigmatic dreams that had plagued him. Brushing his teeth before the bathroom mirror, his eyes narrowed at his own reflection as he caught a glimpse of a crescent moon tattoo inked into his jugular notch. How did I even get this tattoo? Marc questioned in his mind, prompting Steven's reflection to shake his head, having no recollection whatsoever of the tattoo's mysterious origin.

I honestly don't know, mate. Steven sighed. It might be from Khonshu - may be the residue of his magic when he freed us. Marc accepted Steven's theory for the meantime, effectively taking his mind of his own endless questions as he finally dressed in a crisp, charcoal-gray suit, trying to appear composed and confident for what was sure to be an emotionally charged day.

The Motorola flip phone on his bedside table pinged, prompting Marc to open and check his latest message. Layla’s text greeted his eyes, abruptly reminding him of today’s agenda in the first place.

See you in the courtroom today. I’m on my way.

Marc sighed, lamenting how it had all come to this. Their divorce had been a mutual decision, born out of a recognition that their romantic love had faded, wilted by the melancholy of distance and the weight of their shared history. They both have decided to part ways on amicable terms, to seek their own paths and find happiness on their own terms. He would be lying if he said the whole ordeal wasn't painful for him, but he recognizes the necessity to conclude a chapter between him and Layla that had already run its course.

Two hours later, Marc Spector finally entered the premises of Chicago Family Court. While waiting patiently in the hallway outside his assigned courtroom, he couldn't help but revisit the dreams that had plagued him. He fiddled with his tie, a nervous tic that betrayed his inner turmoil. He wondered if these dreams and nightmares he’s having were mere manifestations of his trauma—the trauma of dying and coming back to life, of shedding the mantle of Moon Knight, the vigilante avatar of Khonshu.

Steven's voice whispered in his mind, a soothing presence amidst the chaos of his thoughts.

Don’t overthink it too much, buddy. Steven suggested, reassuring him that perhaps they were just processing their past in their own unique way.

Marc nodded inwardly, grateful for the reassurance. They were no longer avatars, no longer bound to the whims of Khonshu. They were free, and yet, the mysteries of their shared dreams remained. It left a lingering unease in his soul as he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to them than met the eye.

A yawn escaped him, a reminder of his sleepless night. He took a seat on one of the benches, suddenly overcome with exhaustion. He leaned against the cold courtroom wall and slowly closed his eyes against his better judgment, hoping to find some respite from the weight of his thoughts. Exhaustion washed over him like a tidal wave, and he drifted into an uneasy nap.

"Morning, Marc"

His name was called, gently waking him from his restless slumber. He blinked and sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Layla El-Faouly stood before him dressed in a white blouse, black pencil skirt and gray flats, her dark eyes weary but kind. In her hands, she held two cups of coffee, the aroma of freshly brewed beans wafting through the air.

"Layla," Marc greeted, his voice raspy from sleep.

“How are you holding up?" she asked softly, her tone tinged with a mix of concern and empathy as she handed him a cup of steaming coffee.

"As well as can be expected, I suppose”, Marc managed a weary smile. "Thanks for the coffee."

She offered him a small smile, a hint of sadness in her toffee-brown eyes. "You looked like you could use it," she said. "Are you ready for this?"

Marc nodded, his gaze fixed on the steaming cup in his hands. "As ready as I'll ever be."

“We both know it’s for the best”, Layla spoke in a serious tone. “With everything that has happened, this will put everything behind us”

He nodded slowly as he let her last words fly by. They exchanged small talk, avoiding the weightier topics for the moment. Soon after, they both heard their names called by the court clerk.

“Mr and Mrs Spector, please come to the front”

As they entered the courtroom, Marc couldn't help but steal a final glance at Layla. Her beauty had always captivated him—the way her raven-black hair cascaded down her shoulders, the warmth of her eyes, and the grace with which she carried herself. She was a striking reminder of what had drawn them together in the first place.

Finally, their case was called. Marc and Layla sat side by side, their hands barely touching as they listened to the legal formalities. It was a somber affair, with a judge presiding over the dissolution of their marriage. Both of them answered the necessary questions with a solemnity that matched the occasion. They signed the paperwork, their signatures sealing the end of their shared lives and setting one another free.

The judge’s words as he delivered the final ruling in their divorce case brought a semblance of peace in both Marc and Layla’s hearts. There was no sadness, anger or regret of any sort - only happiness in its melancholic yet empathetic form. It was the end of an era, the closing of a chapter in their lives.

With the court proceedings behind them, the two walked out of the courtroom and into the corridor, their steps slightly heavy with a sense of finality. Of all the divorced couples in the family court, only Marc and Layla hold hands with a rueful smile on their faces. Outside the courthouse, the two hailed a taxi to take them both to the airport, albeit in separate flights. The taxi ride was a quiet one, the city passing by in a blur of buildings and people.

They may not have worked out as lovers, but they can surely live with being each other's best friends.

"It's time," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly as the closing distance of the airport loomed before them. Marc nodded, his throat tight with unspoken emotions.

"Yeah," he replied in a hushed tone. "It's time."

A few hours later, the newly divorced couple finally found themselves at the boarding gates. Going their separate ways have never felt so bittersweet.

“Take care of yourself, Layla”, Marc said as he pulled his now ex-wife in for one last hug.

“I was supposed to say that”, Layla chuckled, returning the embrace as her eyes glistened with unshed tears. “Don’t be a stranger - you and Steven”

Tell her to not skip any meals, Steven piped inside his head sadly. His British alter’s brief infatuation with Layla didn’t really help to dampen his already melancholic mood.

“Steven said you shouldn’t skip your meals”

“Tell him I appreciate the thought”, Layla nodded, smiling serenely as if looking directly at Steven himself. “Goodbye, you two. See you around”

With a final, lingering look, Layla turned and walked away, disappearing into the crowd of other airport travelers. Marc watched her go, feeling a mixture of sadness and relief. The weight of their marriage had lifted, but it left behind a profound sense of loss and emptiness that he wasn't yet sure how to fill.

Marc still has a few hours left before his own flight, so he decided to pass the time at the nearby airport bar. The departure board above displayed rows of cities, each with its own departure time, a digital countdown matching the frenetic rhythm of the bustling terminal around him.

Nursing a lukewarm coffee and absentmindedly flipping through his passport, he suddenly heard the announcement over the intercom, crackling and distorted but crystal clear in its message.

"Ladies and gentlemen, calling all passengers for flight BA294 to London Heathrow. The boarding gates are now open"

The overhead announcements ceased, and the travelers, like Marc, turned their attention to the departure board. In bold, digital letters, the gate number for his flight to London illuminated.

"Flight 294 to London Heathrow: Gate B13."

See you around, Layla’s voice echoed in Marc’s head once more, prompting him to mildly chuckle to himself as he stood up and went on his way to the boarding gates. He knew it would take a long while for them to meet again. Layla has new responsibilities as Taweret’s new avatar - the Scarlet Scarab as dubbed by the people of Egypt. He, on the other hand, will have to pick up the pieces of anything he recalls as a semblance of his old life.

London was their home now, and Marc and Steven were eager to return to the familiarity of its streets. This time around, it’s up to them to figure out how the next chapter of their new lives will begin. But one thing is for sure - finding out the true meaning of their collective dreams would be the first step.

I've mentioned this character a number of times before, but now she's finally getting a proper introduction.

Name: Callisto Alioth Age: at the time she and Warp meet, she appears to be around 24 Earth years old; however, she is chronologically at least ten thousand years old Sex: Female Species: Ezzari Height: 4'9" Weight: 122 lbs Orientation: Straight Occupation: Prior to being cryogenically frozen and sent from her homeworld, an apprentice priestess to her grandmother Amaltheia; after her rescue from a slave auction, a maid in the house of Warp Darkmatter Homeworld: unknown Love interest: Warp Darkmatter Family: Amaltheia (grandmother, deceased), Iapetus (father, deceased), Capella (mother, deceased), Blaze (son) Backstory:

Callisto was a member of the Ezzari, an ancient alien race that was one of the most powerful and advanced of its time; they were especially well-known for their creation of a unique and powerful fusion crystal made with an ingredient found only on their homeworld and known only to themselves. However, there came a time when the mighty Ezzari civilization would fall, and their numbers would be decimated. Callisto was placed in a cryogenesis capsule by her father Iapetus, in the hopes that his daughter would be spared the genocide of their people.

Approximately ten thousand years later, her capsule would be found in the jungle of Talera-5 by a team of archeologists, who took pity on the frightened young woman and allowed her to stay with them. Several days later, one of those archeologists would turn out to be a slave trader and sell Callisto to a black market dealer on Tradeworld to be sold at an auction.

When Callisto was brought out on the auction stage, the bidders were intrigued by the exotic beauty before them, especially a Raenok general named Skurj. Several bids were made for the young Ezzari woman, but Skurj managed to retain the highest bid until a muscular blue-skinned man by the name of Warp Darkmatter outbid him at the last minute. Though relieved the Raenok wouldn't be taking her, Callisto was by no means thrilled about being a slave to this cocky brute of a man and made several attempts at escaping from him once he brought her to his home. Though Warp would be injured by her during some of these attempts, he couldn't help but admire her fiery spirit in spite of his frustration.

In an attempt to win her trust, Warp decided to keep his distance from Callisto for awhile, but would leave her gifts by a garden pool she liked to sit by. She remained wary of him, but began to allow him to come closer. One day, while Callisto was massaging Warp's back, the latter noticed the former staring at a decorative urn with great interest.

"Oh, you like that old thing, eh? I found it on one of the moons of Altaari and thought it looked interesting. I have no idea what those odd scribbles all over it are supposed to mean, though."

"I - I know what it means," Callisto responded timidly. "It is in the language of my people." She began to translate the writing on the urn, while Warp listened with great interest.

From that moment on, the two of them would spend more time together, with Callisto telling Warp stories about her world and the Ezzari, and Warp entertaining Callisto with tales of his adventures across the galaxy. However, there came a time when Callisto told Warp something that would be the beginning of the end of the happiest time of his life since joining Zurg.

"I'm pregnant."

Warp was of course shocked, but also happy he was going to be a father. Callisto, though also happy about her upcoming motherhood, knew something she didn't want her lover to know, fearing if he did know it would endanger her unborn child's life. So she kept it a secret, even as she grew more weak and tired as her pregnancy progressed. Warp was of course concerned, but Callisto assured him she was fine. The day came when a healthy baby boy was born to Warp and Callisto. As Callisto held her son for the first (which would also be the last) time, her smile faded and a tear slid down her cheek. Warp asked if something was wrong, to which Callisto responded, "It's nothing. I'm just tired. Do you think you could take him while I rest awhile?" Warp of course obliged, then asked if she knew what she wanted to named their son, to which she responded, "How about ... Blaze?"

Those were Callisto's last words before she closed her eyes.

She never awakened after that.

Renowned as a pioneering guitarist who pushed the boundaries of the instrument to places unknown to most of his contemporaries, Jeff Beck, who has died from bacterial meningitis aged 78, could more than hold his own with fellow luminaries such as Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton (all three of them played in the Yardbirds). Yet unlike them, Beck was something of a reluctant celebrity, unwilling to pursue the superstardom that his musical gifts could have brought him.

“When Led Zeppelin made it so big, I was jealous, absolutely jealous as hell,” Beck said in 1986. “But I’m glad I carried on as I was. I personally couldn’t have put up with that mass adulation.”

When Clapton and Page appeared at Live Aid in 1985, Beck preferred to stay at home and tinker with his beloved collection of classic hot rod cars. “I didn’t want to go, because I hate large crowds,” he claimed. The Melody Maker journalist Chris Welch wrote that “he can appear sullen, lazy and difficult. He has an expressive face that appears to give away his every mood and thought.”

Nonetheless, Beck was a central figure in several key developments in rock music’s history. As a member of the Yardbirds in 1965-66, he featured on some of their best-known hits, including Heart Full of Soul and Shapes of Things, while expanding the band’s musical palette hugely. His solo recording Beck’s Bolero was a firework display of contrasting guitar techniques and textures, and pointed to Beck’s future, in which he would move away from mere rock to embrace jazz fusion and even classical crossover. His 2010 album Emotion & Commotion included versions of Benjamin Britten’s Corpus Christi Carol and Puccini’s Nessun Dorma, interpreted through Beck’s uniquely sensitive touch. He would frequently pick strings with his thumb while modifying tone and pitch with the tremolo bar.

Beck’s gifts burned most intensely after he left the Yardbirds in November 1966 and formed the first incarnation of the Jeff Beck Group in early 1967, featuring Ronnie Wood on bass and the telltale rasping vocals of Rod Stewart. Beck’s previously recorded solo hit Hi Ho Silver Lining, which reached 14 on the UK chart in the spring of 67, gave the group a handy launch platform, although their debut album, Truth, was not released until the following year. When it was, it reached 15 on the US chart.

This was largely down to the group’s tour manager Peter Grant (later Led Zeppelin’s manager), who had taken the band to the US for some ecstatically received live performances and then persuaded Epic Records to sign them. Truth’s soulful mix of blues and hard rock was a trailblazer for a new wave of bands, not least Led Zeppelin themselves, whose own debut album appeared six months later.

Although Truth failed to chart in Britain, the Beck band’s second album, Beck-Ola, gave them another No 15 hit in the US and this time reached the UK Top 40, and they followed up with successful touring in the US, but internal friction was beginning to pull the unit apart. With impeccably poor timing, they broke up just before they were due to play at the Woodstock festival. Stewart launched his solo career, and formed the Faces with Wood. A rebuilt Jeff Beck Group released the albums Rough and Ready (1971) and Jeff Beck Group (1972), but the magic moment had passed.

Beck was born at his family’s home in Wallington (then in Surrey, but now in south London). His father, Arnold, was an accountant and his mother, Ethel, worked in a chocolate factory. Jeff attended Sutton Manor primary school and Sutton East county secondary modern.

He credited his mother with pushing him to study music, because she “used to force me to play piano about two hours a day. But that was good, because it made me realise I was musically sound.” He became fascinated by the electric guitar when he heard Les Paul’s version of How High the Moon. After experimenting with “stretching rubber bands over tobacco cans and making horrible noises”, he graduated to an old and battered acoustic guitar, and then built his own instrument using a cigar box and a picture frame.

Beck attended Wimbledon Art College, where he was mostly preoccupied with guitar-playing, inspired by albums by American bluesmen such as Buddy Guy and Muddy Waters. He bought himself an electric guitar and played briefly with Screaming Lord Sutch and the Savages, and in 1963 formed the Nightshift, who recorded the single Stormy Monday. Later that year he joined an R&B band, the Tridents. He took a great leap forward in 1965 when he joined the Yardbirds, replacing Clapton. This was on the recommendation of Page, whom Beck had known since being introduced to him by his sister Annetta in his teens.

He was with the Yardbirds for less than two years, but during this period they recorded some of their best-known material, including the hit singles Heart Full of Soul (featuring Beck’s raga-like guitar), a UK No 2 and a Top 10 hit in the US, Evil Hearted You (UK No 3), Shapes of Things (UK No 3) and Over Under Sideways Down (UK No 10). Happenings Ten Years Time Ago (1966) only made it to 43 on the UK chart (and 30 in the US), but its complex mix of guitar parts by both Beck and Page have led to it being considered a milestone along the road to full-blown psychedelia. Page would go on to bend the boundaries of rock music with Led Zeppelin, while Beck was experimenting with different tunings and feedback effects.

In May 1966, Beck made his first solo recording, Beck’s Bolero. It featured Page, the Who’s drummer Keith Moon and the future Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones (indeed, the musicians on the track almost became Led Zeppelin), but was not released until it became the B side of Beck’s single Hi Ho Silver Lining the following year. Based on the rhythm of Ravel’s Bolero, it was a spectacular display of guitar tonalities, from ethereal slide guitar to hard-rock riffing, and suggested the extent of Beck’s ambitions.

After the Jeff Beck Band ended, he formed the “power trio” Beck, Bogert and Appice in 1973 (his bandmates being ex-members of Vanilla Fudge), but the project failed to match expectations and they split in 1974. In 1975 Beck re-emerged in a jazz-inflected guise with the all-instrumental album Blow by Blow, produced by George Martin. It became Beck’s most successful album, reaching No 4 on the US chart and selling a million copies. For Wired (1976), he teamed up with Narada Michael Walden and Jan Hammer, veterans of the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Subsequent live shows were preserved on Jeff Beck With the Jan Hammer Group: Live (1977).

Beck released intermittent solo albums, including Flash (1985), Jeff Beck’s Guitar Shop (1989) and Jeff (2003). Flash delivered a hit single, with a cover version of Curtis Mayfield’s People Get Ready, and the track Escape won Beck the first of his eight Grammy awards. He made guest appearances on Mick Jagger’s album Primitive Cool (1987) and Roger Waters’s Amused to Death (1992). In 2020, he released the single Isolation, a John Lennon song on which he collaborated with the actor Johnny Depp. In July last year, the pair released an album, 18, after Depp had joined Beck onstage for some UK and European concerts.

Beck was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 for his work with the Yardbirds, and in 2009 for his solo career.

He is survived by his second wife, Sandra Cash, whom he married in 2005.

Introducing the main cast au!! The au where i'm still not sure whether or not lapis is a current crystal gem, trapped in the mirror, or a past cg who would've gotten corrupted, and character designs keep changing inconsistently!! Basically, the roles of garnet/ruby/sapphire, amethyst, and pearl(+ homeworld pearls) are taken by our gemsonas! Sapphire ocs & their fusion as ruby sapphire & garnet, tiger's eye & angelite as amethyst(roughly), avi & moon as pearl(+ other moonstones as homeworld pearls), and erza as steven's older sister!! Rose is still there, as are peridot, lapis, the diamonds, etc, it's just the main cgs that have changed and purple diamond has been added to the authority, hence "main cast au"! More abt it under the cut

Erza is half galra hybrid, half Purple Diamond. Her dad abandoned her on Earth and the cgs took her in. She has shadow manipulation powers, access to her mother's shadow dimension with various creatures & easts that obey her, and maybe a purple pearl or moonstone looking after her. She's extremely powerful but holds back for the sake of her family. Angelite & Tiger's Eye are gay & dating & have been doing so for thousands of years. They joined the crystal gems after running away from homeworld post-corruption blast & being found in the strawberry field (where they officially became romantic partners) by the other remaining cgs. Angelite's weapon is a uhhhh, and Tiger's Eye's weapon is a brass knuckle/blade combo, and she has a stealthy fighting style! Moon was Blue Diamond's original moonstone, and when she broke(post Pink Moonstone breaking), Blue Diamond gifted her alongside an aventurine(Avi) she was going to shatter as her personal advisors, since Pink "wants broken things" in her words. Also Avi has paw pads on her hands & feet & paw foots. Avi and Moon are best friends and throughout the series, Avi has to work through her codependence on Moon. The main cast crystal gems never knew what became of Spinel--Rose told them she "never knew what became of her"(true), and by the time they could have rescued her, the corruption blast had hit or Pink's "shattering" had taken place and it would blow their cover and endanger them all + earth to go looking for Spinel. They went looking post-cym, but never found her--never suspecting she remained in the garden. Hyacinth is the fusion of Wysteria(left knee sapphire) and Cornflower(right knee sapphire. @autistic-yveltal made Moon & the left knee component of Hyacinth, and @morningstarships owns Angelite, Tiger's Eye, Erza, Purple Diamond, and Purple Pearl(who is unknown if she's in this au yet).

The Sisters/Kin // br

In canon, the sisters are a group of nomadic female cats from Squirrelflight's Horrible Writing. They drive out the toms at six moons old, and can summon ghosts.

In canon, the Kin, created by Darktail, was a group of rouges and former Clan cats in one large group. They were very violent and drove RiverClan from its territory and disbanded ShadowClan.

In br, the kin and the Sisters have been combined into one. The fusion of sisters-and-kin is going to be called the Kin.

Around the same time as DotC, a group of kittypets started seeing strange ghosts haunting their homes. They left their kittypet dwellings and began to wander, taking on more members. They named themselves the Kin, as they were all very much like a family.

There is no driving out of male kits. All cats born into the kin are welcome to stay or leave at any time.

The original kittypets who began seeing ghosts have the special ability to see them. Any cat no matter what clan can summon a ghost using the right ritual.

Cats descended from those with ghost-sight still have to perform a ritual to be able to interact with a ghost. I will make a post on rituals later :)

The sisters, over the course of the series, moved all over. They wandered around the old forest up until Fire and Ice, and then began to move on. During this time they ran into WindClan, a raggedy bunch of starving Clan cats. They didn't want to interact with these cats because they didn't wish to fight and the WindClan members looked too weak to do anything.

Onewhisker discovered one of the sisters (her name was Smoke, and her mother was a kittypet. how crazy is that) and fell in love with her almost immediately. Smoke also fell in love with the tom. They continued meeting at a specific spot, watching the world go by.

Smoke became pregnant with Onewhisker's kits, and eagerly told him on their next meeting. Onewhisker was shocked. He had come to say that WindClan was leaving soon, as two ThunderClan cats had arrived to take them back.

Smoke was horrified. Some random tom shows up, captures her heart, gets her pregnant, and then just waltzes off? Was their love all for nothing? Was there really any love in the first place?

Onewhisker apologized, explaining he had to stay with WindClan. WindClan was his home, his clanmates were his kin...

At the word 'kin,' Smoke snaps. She snaps at Onewhisker, saying he has no idea of what kin means. Smoke is so enraged and hurt she can't think straight and runs home to find her kin. Onewhisker just leaves. He feels terrible. What started as a lovely little romance ended as a fight. He wants to forget all this and his own stupidity. Onewhisker leaves with WindClan, and doesn't think of his affair with Smoke ever again.

Smoke went back to her kin and told her mother the entire story. Her mother is going to be a former kittypet named Glory who joined the Kin as they journey by the Twolegplace.

After a while, Smoke calms down. She's still furious at her mate, but also sad. She genuinely loved Onewhisker. He was her first love, and he broke her heart.

Smoke gives birth to a litter of three, two of them being born dead. She names the survivor Darktail, after his black tail. She doesn't tell her mother, but she also named him in the style of Clan names.

Darktail is a lively and energetic kit. He loves to wander with his Kin, travelling all around the land and back again. By the time Darktail is six moons old, he's learned from his Grandma Glory and his mother about his father. Smoke speaks of him very scarcely and when she does she either sounds mournful or hateful. Glory speaks of Onewhisker and generally all Clan cats with hate. Darktail, in need of an imaginary evil to play with, begins to view Clan cats as evil.

Smoke and her mother die in an epidemic of some sickness alongside half of the Kin. Darktail feels lost. His family in the Kin are dead, his world is no longer the hopeful place it once was. He leaves the kin, searching for the Clans. He wants vengeance, he wants blood.

Darktail still takes over SkyClan with his rouge buddies. He doesn't really know which Clan his father is from, but he knows what Onewhisker looks like. According to his mother he's a muscular tabby with near-golden fur and amber eyes. After butchering SkyClan, Darktail is met by Alderpaw & Company! He learns about WindClan and the Clan leaders- oopsie, did they say Onestar? How interesting...

Darktail leads his rouges to the lake-clans, and ShadowClan falls, WindClan loses its mind, and RiverClan is kicked out. Darktail's kin is meant to be like his birthplace, but obviously different. Darktail still dies in a death grip with his father, but rather than Onestar being heroic and noble he is just dragged by Darktail into the water. Onestar sucks and he knows it.

The real kin, after hearing word from fleeing cats of the Clans, halt in their tracks and panic. They can't go forward if there's war! But they have to go explore the new territory! The decision is hard, but after more news is spread of the bad kin's defeat, they move on. The Kin don't know Darktail started it, and just assume some bloodthirsty maniac did.

Tree/Earth is born around this time. He was the son and only child of Moonlight and felt very proud of this. He was well spoiled and given waaaaaay to much attention. When his mother had another litter he felt as if he was being replaced and resolved to run away. After a few days of living alone, he was doubting his choice. Suddenly the spirit of a mysterious she-cat showed up and began guiding him to the Clans.

Tree followed the spirit to the lake, where they were struggling and lots of drama happened. The Kin also came to the lake at the same time, and the events of The Broken Code and Squirrelflight's Hope happened.

The kin are tired of dealing with Clan shenanigans, and they are now wandering past the lake to the mountains.

Sun, Moon, and Eclipse are SUPPOSED to be a family.

Just to be clear I'm talking about the MAIN Security Breach canon, NOT the Sun and Moon Show one.

Ever since Eclipse became introduced to the SB canon, I've been thinking about some things.

See, I'm a big supporter of the Sun x Moon ship, just like I am with Fronnie and Chicanne (the ship between Glamrock Chica and Roxanne Wolf).

But there was one thing I've always wondered...

COULD the animatronics have ANIMATRONIC children?

So in response to that question I came up with possibly the most wholesome yet angstiest theory:

What if Sun, Moon, and Eclipse were supposed to be Fazbear Entertainment's attempt at making an "animatronic family" for advertisement purposes but the three of them ended up becoming an actual family?

Reason why I came to this theory was because recently I've been viewing a comic called "Obsolete" by Ice Tiger Kitten on Twitter (great story by the way) and the way that Sun, Moon, and Eclipse were interacting with one another wasn't "sibling-like" at all...

It was more like two parents trying to protect and support their child.

I say "child" because Eclipse WAS confirmed by Kellen Goff to be Non-Binary.

Now... HOW would it work in canon?

Considering that we may or may not be getting a RUIN part 2 DLC at SOME point, it may show more of the three of them interacting. Who knows? It may end up just like how the comic is going or if it turns out that they're either just a weird Steven Universe fusion-esque program or if they are all just three AIs in one body. In any sense, I'll be okay with it in canon.

Now... what is everybody's positions in this "family"?

Sun: The Mother

The reason I put Sun as the "mother" is because another youtuber named Techno Dragon theorized that Sun was supposed to be a female animatronic but since Sun and Moon were stuck in the same body, I think everybody else just assumed Sun was also male and never bothered fixing it.

Also, consider the fact that SUN is possibly being FORCED by the STAFF to stay at the Daycare, kind of how like a HOUSEWIFE was forced to stay at home and only care for her children and husband instead of possibly also working like it was back in the thirties.

Moon: The Father

Moon just gives me the "kind-hearted but also protective" father vibes when not under the Virus's control. Also, him being possibly a part of the Security gives more evidence to my analysis about Sun considering that back then working men were known to work through a WHOLE NIGHT, which fits with how Moon was allowed outside of the Daycare and NOT Sun.

Eclipse: The Child

Eclipse to me is just like a little kid that also has the same intelligence level as Gregory or Cassie.

I think Eclipse was just born sporadically one day, considering the "Happy Birthday" line that is said in RUIN, which could have been a hint to THEIR birthday, since children are known to be the happiest when it comes to their birthdays.

Now... What happened to this family?

Obviously, the virus happened, but I also think the STAFF was partway responsible.

Considering the condition that both Sun and Moon were in before RUIN, it is VERY clear that STAFF didn't actually bother to maintain them like they did with the Glamrocks.

I think all of the broken STAFF bots in their room were broken up by Moon so he could maintain their currently shared body when the STAFF didn't want to, which gives more evidence to my family placements.

When the Virus finally took its hold over Moon and partially over Sun, it ended up pushing Eclipse out of the body and POSSIBLY into the AR world.

Now I know there's been another theory going around that the "Eclipse" we saw in the Balloon Boy arcade cabinet is supposedly the same Eclipse we know, but I don't think that's it. I think THAT Eclipse is just its own entity that might have been protecting OUR Eclipse while they were trapped in the AR World, which is what I think their face on the ceiling in the AR version of the Sun and Moon's room represents.

With their child seemingly now "dead", Sun and Moon started to fight for control over their shared body, possibly fought within their shared mind and blamed each other for what had happened to Eclipse, which was not a problem they started to have before until the Virus came into the picture.

Also, I think Eclipse was aware of what was happening and constantly tried to go back into the body, but the Virus kept pushing them out.

Now, here's where the events of Security Breach come into the picture.

I think Eclipse was the one making the cables glow those bright colors.

And yes, I KNOW it was the actual developers that changed the cable colors because some of us couldn't find them, but in canon it wouldn't normally make sense that the cables would be glowing like that.

Since Eclipse was still trapped in the AR world at the time, I think they managed to develop SOME control over electronics like the generators, which is why the cables were glowing those bright colors.

And what were those colors?

Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, and Purple.

Blue: Represents Moon

Yellow: Represents Sun

Green: Represents Eclipse

Red: Represents the Virus itself

Purple: Represents Glitchtrap

Eclipse was trying to tell us their story through the cables, but back then we didn't have a way to see them.

Well, until RUIN came around.

With the Virus now seemingly gone, Eclipse was able to go back into their parents' shared body, but Moon was still clearly traumatized by what had happened and was possibly in denial that Eclipse was still "alive".

Also, I think the "song" that Sun was singing was supposed to be a lullaby for Eclipse, but because of the events of the Virus, the song had become twisted with Sun's sorrow.

After Cassie reboots Moon, Eclipse is able to express themselves again, and does seem to be very grateful to Cassie.

Also, Sun's "thank you" not only made me cry the first time I heard it, but I think it was also a "thank you" for reuniting the family.

Hopefully, if we do get a RUIN part 2, these three will get more screentime.

LoZ - Karina, Goddess of Love & Passion

If there's no goddess of love in Hyrule, I'll make one up.

I suggest that she'd be known as a higher goddess of love & passion, life, as well as sexual relations (specifically, the tenderness & emotional connection experienced between those who are in love), vivifatility (pertraining to both fertility & virility), femininity, pudicity & loyalty, not to mention healthy relationships, balance, beauty & art, compassion, the moon, the truth, the hearth, music, bravery, righteous retribution, the home (specifically hospitality, food/cooking, family), healing & medicine, nature (very specifically flowers, fruit, oases, the seashore, & the tides aided by her connection to the moon), soulmates (specifically, the bond between soulmates), kijugami (protector ogre goddesses/tutelaries; they are considered her vassals), & a defender of children as well as abuse/rape victims regardless of their sex. Also, springtime & even summertime to a degree while her brother has greater alignment to fall & winter.

Due to both her power over flowers & fruit, as well as cooking, as well as her mother's domain of hedge magic, she has become the patron goddess of hearth magic or gastromagy, specifically nutritional gastromagy. Basically nutritional gastronomy with magic. Hearth mages, & even potioneers, pray to her for aid in the healing of others. While hedge mages, such as Irene & Syrup, tend to primarily worship her mother, Farore, they will also go to Karina for aid with potion-making.

It turns out that, completely beyond my knowledge, she actually has quite a lot in common with the Mayan Moon Goddess, Ixchel. However, for those who don't know anything about her, just compare Karina to a Venus & Vesta fusion. Maybe even a little bit of Athena & Artemis too. Anyway, this new development of her resemblance to Ixchel has inspired me to make Karina have encouraged the evolution & development of Remlits, which eventually resulted in the Zonai. I shall expand upon this later.

Anyway, she also has a minor connection to specifically weaponsmithing & jewelry-making. Though, these aren't things she's considered a goddess of, but being a goddess of art helps with this.

As such, her ability with the arts gave her an innate talent for blacksmithing. When she'd forge weapons, she would sing as she hammered the metal & inscribed it with runes or fastened gemstones to it that she'd infused with magic. Magic harmonizes easily with her voice, so doing this allowed her to more readily weave that magic together. This was a method of magical infusion which she & her brother had discovered that allowed the metal to resonate more readily with the magic. Thus giving more potent results. (Though, due to how shy her brother was, he often refused to infuse metal in front of others.)

These are the symbols that she was associated with:

Due to her magical alignments, she was heavily associated with the water, specifically the rain, oases, but most of all, the tides. This has resulted in the Gerudo referring to her as al'Wahē Vah'ma or the Oasis Mother.

While she is normally a friendly, loving, & compassionate goddess, she can be incredibly vicious & even vindictive & grudgemental with an anger as fearsome & wild as nature's fury. She was every bit as much a Tutelary Deity as her brother. The Sheikah refer to her as a Daikijugami or great ogre goddess & the Gerudo refers to her as a Dāvah'làra.

While mortals depicted her in many ways (as is normal), amongst the gods, she was known to wield a pair of Parazonium daggers & a pair of Hispaniensis Gladiuses. Both sets of weapons had a double helix design like her brother's Nijūrasen Zanbatō. She also used a double-limbed long-distance spellbow, which was a high-performance bow & put more power behind her shots.

The double-limbed bows of the Eventide Rito were modeled after hers.

And the winged heels that the Gerudo are known for, as well as the Pegasus Boots & Hover Boots of Hyrulean Legend (as hers did both), were somewhat inspired by her Pegasus Caligae. They had been a gift from Helios, God of the Sky. She used them to dash across the land or over waves, jump over excessively large gaps, & run & leap through the sky in a way similar to Hermes.

In Hyrule, she is depicted as having long, wavy, platinum blond or silvery-white hair that cascades down her back in waves, reaching to her ankles, ice blue eyes (that later turn a glowing silver upon mastering the Mind's Eye), flawless, tanned skin, & a pair of moth wings behind her ears. With facial markings similar to her brother's, but more curved & less jagged with burgundy eyelids that resemble eyeshadow; the stripes on her cheeks being burgundy instead of red & the stripes on her forehead, framing her shell mark, are aqua. And while not nearly as pronounced as her brother's, she does have sharper, longer canines than most human-adjacent races. Same with slitted pupils & sharpened nails. Both becoming more prominent, canines growing longer, slits narrowing, & nails elongating into catlike claws, when she's angry, though Hyruleans tend to portray her without them. As well as a second pair of arms beneath the normal 2. She is often wearing a simple string of pearls as a circlet with a gilt-edged scallop at the center & hanging beneath that, a teardrop-shaped Opalite Moonstone. She also wore a pink, one-shouldered Hellenistic Chiton with a golden-patterned border at the hem, a black & gold-patterned cloth belt, 2 pairs of sheer Greek arm drapes attached to gold cuffs, & a pair of simple gold sandals. Also depicted with a pair of daggers at her hips & dual shortswords crossed at her lower back. In battle, she was known for wearing an exomis tunic with a curiass over it, a diadem, gladiator sandals known as Caligae with wings on the heels, & instead with her hair pulled into a long braid.

Meanwhile, amongst the Gerudo, she's referred to a Vah Kàvtrïna & is instead often depicted as a gorgeous Gerudo woman with long, wavy platinum blond or silvery-white hair that reaches her ankles in a long, loose braid, icy blue eyes (that later turn a glowing silver upon mastering the Eyes of the Moon), & a dark, Gerudàn skintone despite her actually being just very tanned. Again, the curved facial markings, the ones on her cheeks being burgundy again & with burgundy eyelids that resemble eyeshadow with the stripes on her forehead that frame her shell mark being aqua. Though, they do tend to portray her being absolutely riddled with battle scars, which is actually much more accurate than her Hyrulean portrayals. Surprisingly, Gerudo also often portray her with her more animalistic canines, slitted pupils, claws on full display. Her 2nd pair of arms also makes it's appearance there. As well as being very prominently depicted with a pair of Koummyar (curved Arabic dagger) at her hips & dual scimitars sheathed at her lower back. This is because, unlike in Hyrule, the Gerudo don't forget her warrior side & is often referred to as a warrior goddess by them. The Gerudo also tend to show her in a Shàrùnga & Aelaahàsil (a sarong & Gerudàn croptop), & a pair of Streshibpen (those winged heels that Gerudo are known for wearing), which Karina would find some issue with as she was generally a modest individual & would especially find the heels impractical in a fight. She didn't mind the Shàrùnga though. Conversely, she was also sometimes depicted in an Ànshibak Qàmpàto (a closely-fitted imperial-collared shirt with a boob window, this one having no sleeves), which she'd prefer. She's also shown wearing a Gerudo battle tiara & is sometimes depicted with a bow & arrow & Dune Leopards flanking her sides as she is considered a huntress & is often associated with the Gerudo race's perpetual pursuit of love & companionship. In battle, she manages to retain an exomis-adjacent outfit in the form of a Konchàq (A Gerudo version of an exomis), but her cuirass is swapped out with a Gerudàn demi-cuirass called a Nisdïre, with lovely Gerudàn patterns, on her head they put a Vallah'jï Tàj (goddess tiara, which are often even more ornate halo crowns than what Gerudo kings & queens wear) Àb'bīvten (sleeve weights/arm chains), Tzèxad'bīvt (hand chains), &, for whatever reason, she's stuck with the Streshibpen. Though, at least they had the magical wings that her Pegasus Caligae had. Doesn't make them any less impractical though...

The Sheikah, who refer to her as Kariaina-no-Mikoto, depict her in attire reminiscent of Benzaiten or Kannon from Japanese myth.

As for the Faronites, they call her Kalina &, much like her mother had been long ago, she was depicted with a stronger influence from her floral alignment, though with definite influence from the sea.

However, to the Zonai, she is called Nantli Kuxnikte-ha & is often depicted similarly to the Mayan goddess, Ixchel, & is often referred to as Nantli Metzi or Mother Moon.

This is the closest I could get to how I wanted her to look for now.

Just give her these ears.

And being a goddess of sex & vivifatility, as well as the daughter of a life goddess & a goddess of life, herself, that also tends to lead to her being depicted very... shapely. Which isn't incorrect, she is quite voluptuous, but she certainly wished that people would stop carving naked statues of her in compromising positions! Like, she doesn't mind as much if it's done artfully & tastefully. As there's a lot to learn about anatomy from drawing or painting or sculpting nude figures. Which, honestly, most of her more creative worshipers tend to do, thankfully. But not all of them unfortunately.

And what was with some of those proportions?! Why were people sticking watermelons to her chest as though it were perfectly normal???

Not that a lot did this, in fact, it's only a few of the creepier worshipers, but it's still not a comfortable position to be in!

As such, one of the things that she teaches is pudicity which originates from the Ancient Roman concept of pudicitia. Pudicitia meaning sexual virtue or chastity, which involves modesty & loyalty to one's partner.

While not a goddess of the ocean or even water, specifically, she is known for having a deep connection to them by virtue of her nature domain & magical alignment. The fact that she is a goddess of the moon also helps greatly.

Her main magical elements are Twilight (with a distinct lean towards Light, in particular), Nature, Water, Wind, & Life. Also has a natural inclination towards Music, Healing, Spirit/Soul, & Sex magic due to being a goddess of music, medicine, soulmates, & tender sex. She also tends to have a connection with the moon, thus giving her an affliation with the night. Which, the moon, gives her access to Twilight magic, which is considered a merging of Light & Shadow magic.

She has no real connection to death beyond being her brother's twin which itself gives her a degree of compatibility with many of his domains & vice versa. Part of the reason for this being that she is just generally more life-aligned as opposed to her brother who is more death-aligned. This mirroring diametricization is extremely common for godly twins.

She, like her brother, is a goddess of both balance, the moon, & twilight. Though while he presides more over the darker side of the moon, she presides more over the lighter side. As such, she is most commonly associated with the Waxing Gibbous Moon while her brother is more so associated with the Waning Crescent Moon. However, both are associated with the Full Moon & New Moon, just in different ways. The Waxing Gibbous Moon symbolizes a time of growth & progress, while the Waning Crescent Moon symbolizes the perfect time for rest & regeneration; a period of self-care; to find inner peace & reconnect with yourself, surrendering all that has happened that is out of one's control, before the lunar cycle begins again. Likewise, the Full Moon represents a time of release and completion, in many ways it's the culmination of positive energy after a period of work or effort. Furthermore, the New Moon signifies the beginning of a cycle. Sort of a cosmic reset. Considered the ideal time to set intentions & goals that one will develop as the moon waxes toward fullness.

At the same time, due to being duel deities of balance, they also have a certain degree of power over the other's domains. So, though Karina is mostly of light, she also has a good deal of power over shadow & Sheikaku is the same, though in reverse. This is partly what makes them both twilight deities.

Though she did not create the Sheikah, she still has a deep connection to them.

Instead, she actually elevated a group of Remlits, who eventually went on to become the Zonai.

Despite being a goddess who presides over the domain of sex, that doesn't necessarily mean that she is sexually deviant herself, so much as she has a natural & innate talent for it that surpasses normal means as well as having access to sexual magics. As well as being unnaturally attractive & charming. She's actually surprisingly modest (though very much not shy) & had only sought sexual relations on occasion during her time as Karina.

While she had yet to be married or have children, upon doing so in her new life, others discovered 4 more domains for which she ruled over: weddings, marriage, childbirth, & motherhood (or parenthood).

While it might be atypical, the fact is that some women are just more naturally predisposed to such things.

However, because she presides over sex, there tend to be whispers amongst the divinity, especially within elder circles. The fact of the matter is that most deities that rule over the more carnal domains do, in fact, have a tendency towards being more... promiscuous... Though that is actually, in large part, due to the inherent expectation placed upon them from those who would have relations with them & those who have heard of those dalliances.

This tends to result in a general assumption that such behaviors correlate with the domain in which a deity rules.

Luckily, Karina's parents, especially her father, as well as her twin brother & other siblings, kept her pretty well protected from such individuals & kept the fact that she ruled over such a domain a secret until she had grown enough to be able to take care of herself, make her own decisions, & defend herself if need be.

It wasn't until her 4th interaction with a god did her abilities get out & thus the rumors began to spread. (Though, many just assumed that she was simply a sex & fertility goddess.) However, the first time she was heckled by a chauvinistic prick who loudly & shamelessly made disgusting remarks, she quickly showed him what to expect if he ever said something like that to anyone ever again. As a goddess of righteous retribution as well as a defender of children & abuse victims, it qualifies her as a warrior goddess of protection, or a heroine goddess/Tutelary Deity.

Now, people only make such insinuations when she's out of earshot.

As a goddess of tender sexual relation, healthy relationships (platonic, romantic, or sexual), spirit, & healing, she founded the Hyrule equivalent to tantric yoga, as well as tantric sex & the Karmasutra. Though, even the sexual practices tended to focus on deepening the positive bonds between partners & healthy expressions of that love.

In this way, her teachings can get very philosophical & spiritual.

Her associated flower is the Lovely Rose (Hearty - +3♡ & Amorous), which had gone extinct on the Surface during the 1st Calamity & has only recently been rediscovered when someone attempted to bring Muddlebuds to the Surface.

She also has an affinity for the Sweetheart Orchid (Hearty - +1♡ & Amorous). Which are inspired by the Cupid Arrow Orchid from Gnomeo & Juliet.

While not particularly sacred to her, she is associated with the Passion Lily, but less so than Vah Gela, the Sand Goddess. The reason being that the Passion Lily is considered a holy flower to the Gerudo as it was the flower that the Gerudo were said to have burst forth from by Vah Gela. So, Karina is really only connected to it via name association & because she's been shown to have a fondness for it.

Her associated fruits are the Deya Peach (Energizing), Amorous Figs (Amorous), & Karina Fragria (Amorous) & her associated fish is the Hearty Sea Bream (Hearty - +7♡ & Amorous). The Karina Fragria having been named after her due to it being said that they first sprung up from the ground when she first fell in love.

Her other sacred animals are foxes, wolves, water birds & Marriage Doves (Jian birds), dolphins, hippocampi, Everlost Moths, as well as water & wind dragons. (Dolphins aren't the rapists of the sea here.)

Amongst the Gerudo, her sacred animals are Dusttail Foxes, Everlost Moths, Dune Leopards, Sand Cats, & wind & water dragons. Also of interest, Sīmurghen are thought to be one of her sacred beasts due to the queen having been thought to have been good friends with Vah Kàvtrïna. (Sīmurgh are a part of Iranian myth. Look it up, it's pretty cool.)

She has other affiliations, but those don't matter at the moment.

She is also fond of the Satori Tree & its delicate blossoms as well as the tiny red cherries that it produces.

I've always found the many different forms of Greco-Roman love very interesting, so that's gonna extend here.

As such, Hyrule recognizes 13 different types of love total & this goddess presides over all 13 as a whole.

There is even an ancient book written by her followers, "Sacra Cupla" or the Book of Sacred Bonds, based on her teachings that instructs one on how to identify them, which ones are unhealthy, & describes how to balance one's relationships with others effectively without taking away from other relationships: Philia (Affectionate or Friendly Love), Storge (Familial Love), Pragma (Enduring or Long-Lasting Love), Romas (Romantic Love) & Eros (Sexual Infatuation) which are often paired together & tend to go hand-in-hand, Ludus (Playful Love), Mania (Unhealthy Obsessive Love), Philautia (Healthy Self-Love or Self-Compassion) & Narcissus (Unhealthy Self-Love or Narcissism), Himeras (Unrequited Love), Caritas (Selfless, Compassionate, or Generous Love), Xenia (The Guiding Love Between a Mentor & Mentee), Meraki (Love for What You Do or Passion for Work), & Zoísa (Love of Life or the Joy of Living; basically Joie de Viv).

While it lists 14 loves above, Philautia & Narcissus are considered 2 sides of the same coin & thus count as one.

Anyway, the basis behind this is that you can love many people, but you're not going to feel the same sort of love for everyone. And, in fact, if you do, then you might wanna go see a therapist.

She also asserts that one should only feel certain types of love for certain people. By this, I mean that incest is gross & so is pedophilia, which are both listed as cardinal sins in the Book of Sacred Bonds right alongside rape & infidelity. It's said that if you commit one of them, that Karina might curse you.

Of course, as one might guess, she is also a romantic at heart as well as a dirty shipper & an incorrigible matchmaker. Though, to be fair, her success rate is 100% accurate.

There are quite a lot of other things, but for now, this is a good enough explanation.

It is from her that the concept of soulmates came to be learned by mortals. However, it isn't so much that she created the concept as it is that she expanded upon the original idea & is known for being the love deity to have made the most discoveries into how soulmates actually worked.

Though, unlike in Twilight, the concept of soulmates follows a more fluid path here. In Twilight (Stephanie Meyers, not Twilight Princess), if you meet your soulmate, then that's it. You have to be with them whether you want to or not, whether you were already in a committed relationship or not.

This isn't the case here.

See, your soulmate is the person you have the highest potential for happiness & personal growth with. They are the person who will help you to expand your understanding of the world most. As well as being the person you are the most genetically compatible with. This genetic compatibility means that when reproducing, the resulting offspring has a far lesser chance of deformities, diseases, negative conditions, ect & a far higher chance of biological advantages.

It's sort of a way to clear out the junk in the gene pool & refine the genetic sequence. In a way, I suppose that it's a more healthy & less inhumane form of eugenics due to only being a side-effect of the true goal & nobody dies because of it?

However, as a result of this, soulmates are never, ever blood relatives. Or at least are only related far enough down the line that even 23 & Me or Ancestry couldn't detect it.

Your soulmate also does not change from life to life. It's always the same soul in a different body.

However, at the same time, you are not locked into them initially. At the end of the day, it is the individual's choice whether to pursue a relationship & if you choose not to, then that's that. There is a subliminal pull of sorts that encourages you in their direction, but again, in the end, it's the individual's choice.

You are also not always going to find your soulmate in every life, so by the goddess of love's decree, you have a subliminal list of people you are compatible with, with your soulmate at the very top & the person you are least compatible with, but who still registers as being compatible, at the bottom. And you can be happy with any one of them.

Another warning, just because 2 people are soulmates doesn't mean that everything is gonna be easy.

This is still a relationship & relationships are hard. So, in the end, it's up to the individuals involved if it succeeds or not.

It's difficult to nail down. Soulmates means that you mesh well together in a natural & organic way. But they are also the person that can hurt you the worst. So, in certain ways, relationships between soulmates are easier than regular ones & in other ways, they're harder.

Also, new souls can only be born from the union between soulmates.

Karina was originally worshiped in the Faron, Necluda, & Ordona Regions long before Hyrule expanded to include them. (Here, Ordona pertains to the Faron Grasslands, with Ordon being located within the Fural Plain, Haran Lake being the remnants of the Ordon Spring, Ibara Butte being where Ordon Ranch was & Ordon itself being positioned around the Lake of the Horse God.)

However, she has since been integrated into Hyrule's overall pantheon of gods & because of her presiding over the realm of love, she was quickly adopted by the Gerudo as well.

She's also worshiped in Eldin, but not to the same degree as everywhere else in Hyrule & her full range is only practiced in Shadow Hamlet by its non-Goron residents while Philia, Storge, Philautia & Narcissus, Caritas, Xenia, Meraki, & Zoísa are the only ones that really apply to Gorons…

Well, so does Ludus, but only because another way to indulge in Ludus is by going out & dancing with your buddies.

On a mortal level, some say that she is the eldest daughter of Farore, while others say that she's one of the Hyrulean twin gods of the moon. Others say that she was born on Tuft Mountain. And others still say that she came into this world at daybreak.

The truth is that these are all correct as Farore wished for her first children's first sight to be the one that Farore was most proud of having helped create. Lover's Lake is actually the site of Karina & her brother's birth. Unfortunately, what you're thinking that means is, in fact, most likely true... I'll leave it at that.

And Farore is also the mother of the Fierce Deity, Sheikaku, who is Karina's elder twin brother.

Though she is considered to be a symbol of femininity, she was actually quite the tomboy growing up & very much enjoyed hunting & camping with her family. Even before her disappearance, she is known for having enjoyed going on hunting trips with her father & brother, thus earning her the title of huntress.

Though, she did grow up to be a very feminine goddess.

However, upon her brother taking the mantle of patron deity of the then unnamed Hyrule, she worked alongside him to protect its people. While this would normally land her as as much of a figure of divine retribution as her brother, she did it for his sake & in order to share some of his burden, while he did it for the sake of the people he was sworn to protect. While Karina also did it to protect people, her primary focus to begin with was in aiding her brother.

Actually, it was during that period of fighting at her brother's side that she discovered her domains of righteous retribution & her place as a defender of children & rape or abuse victims; a Tutelary Goddess. The first time she witnessed someone being abused, she fell into an indescribable rage. The culprit was stricken down in an instant. That was when her mission suddenly shifted to include defending & avenging the abused.

Anyway, as a result, Karina is a very powerful goddess at a similar level to her brother, just focusing on different types of fighting. Mainly that of dual daggers & shortswords, archery, & magic.

She was also a very adventurous & outgoing girl, being the extrovert to her brother's shy introvert & was often known to drag him around into trouble.

Full of vim & vigor, she took to life with joy & enthusiasm. Never one to pass up the chance to try new things.

As an adult, she is considered the most beautiful of the Hyrulean goddesses & is considered comparable to Vah Amàhrta amongst the Gerudo pantheon, just in a different way.

Also, while not a goddess of dance, she loves to dance & very much enjoyed learning to from her adopted aunt, Din. (As, here, the 3 Golden Goddesses aren't actually related. Instead being such close friends that they form a sisterhood.) She also enjoys swimming.

And due to being a goddess of beauty, she also has natural talents & intuitions regarding things like art & fashion.

Interestingly, she was best friends with Gàlondo when they were children. Though, even back then he was cocky & arrogant, it was just more quirky personality traits back then.

Of course, that was before he was taken back to Jïasïd to be trained for war.

In truth, he'd had a massive crush on her even back then, but he never told her.

But, once he returned to become the first patron deity of the then unnamed Hyrule, it was apparent that he'd changed. Quite a lot in fact.

He began flirting with her, which at first wasn't a bad thing, but as he grew drunk off the power & control given to him, the flirting became less cute & more... concerning.

It became apparent that he lusted after Karina & wanted her for himself.

Then, he did something unforgivable & was stripped of his godhood, becoming a Daiyōkai of malice, darkness, hatred, & resentment. Thus becoming the Bringer of Demise.

And he began to show some deeply disturbing yandere tendencies towards Karina.

He began to make some seriously messed up & grossly sexual comments towards her.

Just being overall creepy!

None know this but the elder gods, but Karina & Sheikaku were once a single soul that had already reached enlightenment, & as a result was so powerful that it split in 2. The 2 have since become so independent that they have grown to have their own individual identities & would be unable to remerge without outside help.

None of the elder gods know why their original soul chose to remain attached to the earthly plane rather than move on to become a cosmic force, instead opting to split itself in two.

It is due to them originally being of the same soul that Karina & Sheikaku have an almost psychic connection with each other. It is due to this psychic connection that they shared a couple unique abilities.

One of which being able to take on attributes or crossing into the domain of their twin. However, despite being able to do this, they would not get as much benefit from it as they would if it truly were their domain.

It's also said that she & her brother could fuse into a single entity for a short time when they needed to. And while only the elder gods know this, it is due to them having once been of the same soul. And while no one knows this, not even themselves, they would likewise be able to do the same with their individual soulmates if they had a strong enough relationship & were in perfect synchronicity at the time. Though, they can only do this with each other & their soulmates. (This works almost the same way that fusion does in Steven Universe.)

Anyway, Karina is said to have disappeared at around the same time as her brother & hasn't been seen since.

In a way, I see Karina's spirit as taking over for Sheikaku's in their mortal lives when he grows especially tired from his Atlas-like responsibilities. Or sometimes joining him on his adventures as a Heroine.

However, whenever she simply joins, she often feels outshone by her brother as she doesn't even have a sacred sealing weapon of her own. She could never resent him, no matter the life, but it doesn't feel good either.

Karina is also said to be able to transform into a vae whenever she wishes much like Sāqmàla, the Gerudo High Goddess of Life, Vivifatility, & Sex, though she isn't nearly as well-known for it as Sāqmàla is. (Go to my Vae & the Spring of Talthïrï post if you want to learn more about vae. Warning, it's weird.)

In fact, this is only known due to her old boyfriend, Seasin, from way back when having been interrogated by an intermediate goddess of truth, Ronia. (Seasin & Karina had broken it off amiably long before her disappearance.) This particular goddess tended to express her power in the form of gossip mongering, thus becoming a goddess of rumors.

There's normally a law that magically keeps such truth magics by deities from forcing other deities to speak about other deities without the deity in question's personal permission.

However, due to the way in which Karina disappeared, she was no longer technically considered an active goddess &, as such, she didn't fall under the protection of said law. And Ronia, as the gossip of her pantheon, would know this. This, when combined with the fact that Seasin was only a minor god compared to Ronia's slightly more elevated stature, resulted in her being able to bypass the law without worrying about getting punished. She was still reprimanded though.

This is due to deities of higher standing being able to resist the powers of deities with lower standings much more readily.

Anyway, Seasin had thus been unable to lie or keep the truth from her (though he certainly tried) & had been forced to speak of he & Karina's times together. He was heteroromantic bisexual &, having heard of Sāqmàla's ability, had inquired if, as a goddess who also ruled over the domain of sex, if Karina could do so as well. Karina hadn't known, but she decided to give it a try. Turned out she could. This was how she discovered that she was actually a goddess of vivifatility like Sāqmàla, instead of just fertility like her mother & grandmother.

This information eventually spread to the mortals through Ronia's gossiping & the rest is history. Of course, the mortal version of the story has been sensationalized quite a bit.

Turning Red (SPOILERS)

Pixar has a dude problem. Of their 25 released feature films, only one up to this point was co-directed by a woman, Brenda Chapman on Brave, and it was highly publicized that she was basically kicked off a highly personal project because of the boys’ club atmosphere. It’s ten years since that film’s release, and while that particular ratio hasn’t improved overall (though we are getting better with nonwhite directors/co-directors like Pixar mainstay Peter Sohn on The Good Dinosaur and the upcoming Elemental, as well as playwright Kemp Powers on Soul), we HAVE arrived at Domee Shi’s Turning Red, a highly personal passion project that is noted not just for its director, but many other high-level positions have been filled by Pixar’s women. So, how does it hold up?

Taking inspiration from Shi’s own life growing up as Chinese-Canadian in Toronto, the film follows Mei Lee (Rosalie Chieng) in 2002. She’s 13 and loving life, with a great group of friends-loyal Miriam (Ava Morse), deadpan Priya (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), and ball of rage Abby (Hyein Park)-and genuinely loving parents Ming (Sandra Oh) and Jin (Orion Lee). She divides her time between school, geeking out over boy band 4*Town, and helping out at her family temple. After one particularly stressful and embarrassing day involving art she’s drawn of an older crush and Ming’s over-the-top reaction, Mei finds herself transforming into a giant red panda overnight. After trying and failing to hide this (with the obvious puberty metaphor going from subtext to just text as Ming cheerfully brings out pads), it’s explained that this actually runs in the family thanks to the magical connections of her ancestor Sun Yee. But, Ming promises, there’s a special sealing ritual on the night of the upcoming red moon that will take care of it, and they can get back to normal. Complications start to arise, however: her friends think this is great, especially because the newfound panda popularity is a boon to raising money for a 4*Town concert. And Mei herself is beginning to enjoy her newfound independence...

The above summary perhaps makes the film sound like your run-of-the-mill rebellious teenager animation narrative, but not so. It’s far more nuanced and tricky than what we usually get on that front. First, there’s the fact that Mei doesn’t WANT to rebel at all at first. She’s happy with her life on the surface, genuinely loves her mother, and takes great pride in her heritage and taking care of the temple. Ming, too, is hardly an authoritarian at first, mostly coming off as overbearing yet well-intentioned in her helicopter parent tendencies. But it becomes gradually clear that these issues have been passed across generations, and not dealt with healthily at all (see also Encanto, which deals with this excellently in an admittedly distinct fashion). Therefore, the wild climax feels genuinely earned as Ming unleashes her own kaiju-sized panda form. Handy metaphor for repression, ain’t it? The rest of the family and community is sketched in well: Jin is mostly quiet but gets a lovely articulation of the film’s themes at one juncture; the initially severe Grandma Wu softens but never compromises herself, and the aunts she brings along add some welcome warmth; Mei’s friends are perfectly dorky “cringe” teenage girls (everything Abby does is hilarious); and the jerky Tyler gets some funny moments in both his thoughtless opportunism as well as his own buried love for 4*Town.

Beyond the story, the next most distinctive part of the film is its look. Taking from Shi’s style that she established in her wonderful Pixar short Bao (which easily outshone the film it was attached to, Incredibles 2), it eschews the typical Disney or Pixar leanings for a style far more influenced by 80s and 90s anime. This bears out both in the designs, which resemble a fusion between the likes of Studio Ghibli, Sailor Moon, and Rumiko Takahashi, as well as the vibrant color palette that suffuses Toronto’s production design by Rona Liu. It’s near literally rose-colored in terms of the lush brightness, which leads nicer contrast to the darker climactic scenes or the ethereal, wistful beauty of the ritual. The snappy character acting is also a huge boon, with wild, funny expressions and exaggerated visual effects reminiscent of the aforementioned influences, but also wonderfully subtle touches like Ming’s building anger at a crucial moment. It really shows how Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse was marvelously innovative and paved a way for different kinds of styles in CGI feature filmmaking, fond as I am of the Disney/Pixar house styles and melding of cartoon principles with photorealism (I’m really excited to see Lightyear next month). It’s been a good year already between this and the equally stylish DreamWorks outing The Bad Guys.

Sonically, the film is marvelously on point as well. Ludwig Göransson puts another feather in his cap as one of the most unique composers working today for the score as he blends traditional Chinese instruments with old-school hiphop stylings. This complements the 4*Town songs composed by Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O'Connell well, which are themselves dead-on affectionate parodies of your typical Backstreet Boys, N*Sync, etc. ditties. On the voice acting end, Chieng, initially only hired as a temp voice, makes a remarkable feature debut for what is a pretty difficult role. She takes Mei on a genuine emotional journey while being winning and sympathetic; Pixar’s always been pretty good with kid performers, but Chieng is easily one of their best finds. And while the supporting cast is all excellent (in particular, Park nearly runs away with the film via her passionate line reads, and the always welcome James Hong has a small but pivotal role in the climax), Sandra Oh is the clear co-anchor of the proceedings. She’s always been good at voice acting (notably as Glimmer’s cheery aunt Castaspella on She-Ra and a far more domineering mother figure in last year’s Raya and the Last Dragon), but this is easily her crowning achievement in that field. Like Mei, Ming is a very difficult role to pull off. Too harsh, and she could be outright unlikable; too soft, and the climactic twist doesn’t have the impact. But Oh rises to the challenge with aplomb, managing to be by turns sympathetic, authoritative, funny (the whiplash from sniffing at the first glimmers of Mei’s rebellion to panicking at her own mother calling is terrific), and breaks your heart by the end. A particularly brilliant touch is when we see a younger Ming in the ritual’s mindspace, it’s not a younger actress doing the dialogue, but Oh. This shows just how deeply rooted her trauma is and how she’s stayed stuck in this moment since.

It’s possible I sound a little TOO effusive and performative, being a white guy reviewing this, and members of that particular classification have, shall we say, fucked up majorly in terms of analyzing this film that doesn’t put a fears-of-adulthood metaphor on toys, cars, or fish. To say the least of an infamous YouTuber’s comment that the film should have dealt with then-current events that have nothing to do whatsoever with the plot or themes (seriously, what the actual fuck). But even beyond the unique perspective and setting, this genuinely knocked my socks off. Shi shows a command of direction here and view of adolescence that’s honestly equal to another Pixar favorite’s debut, Brad Bird’s The Iron Giant. It’s not every 32 year-old who can get promoted to vice president of creative after one short and one feature. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Mission 3: Bomb Delivery

New Generation Stars: A mysterious entity hacked the Land of Light security and erased the records of Ultra Heroes, gloating they would be unable to keep their legacy alive. However they the received a message from Decker's universe, a message from the future, where they still have those records. Ultraman Zero received the Dimensionizer, and assurances they can recover the data through it. Zero in turn sent it to Z, and a data gathering mission started. Z is focusing on New Generation Heroes, by thinking on them the Future will send the data to the Dimensionizer. He starts with Ginga, noting his various techniques while focusing on the battle with Zetton (SD) and Magma Seijin (SD) on the moon, as well as Ginga Strium, then Victory and his UlTrans, X and the Cyber Armours, Orb and his Fusion Ups, Geed and his Fusion Rises, the R/B Brother's elemental powers, making a note of Grigio, before continuing with the Tri-Squad. He thinks he should be done, but there's no reaction, so he thinks about his kouhai, Trigger and Decker. He still has no luck, when Ginga contacts him, telling him he's meant to be gathering memories of himself.

Geats: After a call from Sara about how best to cut a pineapple, a mission begins, and they discover Jamato delivering fruit, which explode if disturbed, Ace getting a Magnum Buckle, and a threat is sent to DGP about the bombs, which explode at sunset. In another scramble, Keiwa and Ace are hit by a bomb after defeating the Jamato, Keiwa then realising Sara has a bomb, they all find her wrapped in wire like vines, and don't know which to cut. Neon's mother is angry about her father putting Neon in such a dangerous game, and calls her telling her to leave, Neon refuses. Beroba, a Jamato sponsor, comes to Archimedel and requests the Buffa Core, and introduces herself to Michinaga, offering support to fulfill his wish. Sae and Neon discuss feelings of family, Sae wants to maintain her skills so she can support her siblings after the family restaurant closed down. Keiwa realises he needs to find the Jamato delivering the same fruit Sara received. A mid round vote sees one vote for Neon, Sae and Ace. Finding the Jamato, Geats winds up fighting Buffa when he shows up on the Jamato side, letting Tycoon chase the Jamato, when it seals itself away he borrows the Zombie buckle, defeating it to learn he must cut the red wire. Buffa flees after being overwhelmed by pain. Niram os annoyed about Buffa, but a sponsor's support means he has to do things differently. Alone, Sae looks at a card that details the Desastar's secret mission, to hit other players with bombs.

Donbrothers: Sonoshi, Sonogo and Sonoroku declare the Donbrothers and Noto trio alike enemies of the Noto to be eliminated. The Noto's first request to ally is rejected, especially as they can't help save Kijino. Terasaki is witness to a fellow Penguin taking Taro's form and goes on delivery, Inuzaka tries to make Jiro see sense, but even when Terasaki confirms it Jiro doesn't believe it. Miho confronts the Penguin Taro, and slaps him, restoring his focus, he returns to Kakamura while she is mobbed by cats. The Noto trio are attacked again, Sonoi deciding the Ring of Forgiveness is the only option, as Taro takes Inuzaka into the forest, the Juto possessed by his will, Taro then frees himself as Inuzaka gets Natsumii down, and Cats start mobbing them and Sonoi. Rather than have Inuzaka use Murasame, Taro uses Goldon Momotaro and burns every origami in the forest, telling the Juto their creation isn't their fault, but for their crimes against humans he will force them to remain only on the forest, all the hosts start being freed. Oni Sister and Saru Brother join the battle between the Noto on the side of Sonoza and Sononi, as Sonoi uses the ring of forgiveness to release all the humans sealed by the Noto, Kijino quickly joins the battle. As the others are all dragged to the fight, Jiro finally sees his friends are all illusions. Together the Donbrothers and Noto drive off the enemy for now. Natsumi awakens with Inuzaka, while some way away, the body of Miho sinks below the water.

Outsiders: Asakura robs a bank at gunpoint, but the police are there quickly. A day earlier, he was discussing the plan with councillor Nezu Chuuta, who will get an insurance payout, swearing not to kill and intending to use the money to repay his brother's kindness. When left alone he is approached by Odin, who he doesn't remember, or the rest of the Rider Battle, and is offered the opportunity to fight in a new Battle, but he rejects the Deck. Nezu calls, only to reveal he set Asakura up, watching from the Mirror World and revealing the Scissors Deck, and the threat to the brother keeps him from acting. Odin again offers the Deck, and as he takes it Asakura recalls his memories of that other history, his true self, and as they police burst in, they find no sign of Asakura Takeshi. He comes to Nezu, having contracted Venovsnaker and stabs him to death with a broken mirror, thinking about his aim to kill his brother again. Entering the Rider Battle, he fights Gai, Raia and Zolda, outside Kamen Rider Diend watches, curious to see the moment history changes. Odin informs him he's the last Rider, and immediately has Venosnaker sicced on him, Ouja takes the Mugen Survive Card, using it to become Ouja Survive. Alongside Venoviper(?) Ouja defeats Odin, annoyed to find himself back in the normal world with no reward. The Odin Deck is snatched by Diend, who suggests he target Zein if he wants and opponent, while Diend calls out Foundation X for stealing the Mirror World research to rebirth the Mirror World, and hands over the Deck, which is used to activate repairs on a destroyed Megido Book, and Desast is reborn.

Personality- She's an incredibly pragmatic, aloof, and enigmatic woman with a mysterious flair. She's the epitome of elegance and confidence. She can also be extremely judgemental. She's married.

As the Titan goddess of prophecy, the moon, radiant intellect, & mystery, she has many abilities similar to other moon deities, but on a much larger scale. She can also absorb, redirect, & manipulate moonlight and lunar energy and has the divine ability of prophecy- being able to see into the future. Phoebe is innately stronger at night, especially during a full moon.

In Delphi, Phoebe lives with her husband Coeus (Titan god foresight, intellect, & knowledge) in this grand luxurious estate, with the mansion being built out of marble and moonstone. Inside, there are colors of rich dark blues, violets, glittering silvers, & grays. The interior design is the perfect fusion of modern, minimalist, and Victorian styles. There's a skylight and guest rooms for when guests come over to visit/stay over, especially for her daughter and grandchildren. Her and her husband have a pet- a british shorthair cat, a girl named Cress.

She was the third goddess to hold the great Oracle of Delphi title way before her grandson discovered his new powers/abilities in prophecy. Despite being "retired" from giving people answers to questions about their future, Phoebe doesn't mind answering from time to time. When overzealous throngs of people crowd her, she simply makes the threat of potentially being vaporized by rays of concentrated moonlight.

She enjoys a glass of white wine sometimes, but her favorite go-to drink is coffee! She enjoys all forms of it (with her favorite treat being an affogato- espresso poured on vanilla ice cream). Whether it's straight black, a cafe au lait, a cold brew, cappuccino, cafe mocha, americano, & even a red eye (during those extra late nights when she's writing.) Phoebe makes daily visits to The Roasted Bean!

She has a risque lower back tattoo of a lotus crescent moon that only her husband knows about. Coeus loves teasing her about it!

Her most well known treat (that she gifts people during the holidays & makes for her grandson) are her delicious kourabiedes (Greek butter cookies). She personally dips them in a mocha latte before eating them. Phoebe often brings the cookies (in decorative tins) to her daughter and grandson.

Her favorite desserts are the tiramisu & crumbly coffee cake from Hollyhock’s Bakery.

Phoebe absolutely loves her family, but it's no secret to how she feels about the father of her grandchildren. She was shocked & disappointed when her daughter Leto (Titaness of demurity & motherhood) came to her with news of her pregnancy. They didn't even talk with each other up until the birth. Phoebe and Zeus manage to remain as "cordial associates" after 100 years. She absolutely adores her grandson Apollo (god of the sun, music, poetry, healing, medicine, archery, plague, light, & knowledge). The two of them have a very close relationship & they spend time together pretty frequently- writing music, tanning, sunbathing, and shopping. Phoebe and her granddaughter Artemis (goddess of the hunt & moon) often butt heads, so they're not as close as they used to be. She does have a fond memory of taking Artemis camping near the mountains of Arcadia when she was a small child. She won't admit it, but she does miss her son Lelantos (Titan god of air, the unseen, & hunting) terribly. Aside from a quick glance after her birth and a few photos, Phoebe barely knows her other granddaughter Aura (goddess of the breeze).

As far as her relationships goes with the other members of the pantheon, her best friend is Pleione (Titaness of sailing & stars); mother to The Pleiades. She's also good friends with Tethys (Titaness of freshwater & clouds), Logos (god of stories), Theia (Titaness of sight & heavenly light), Hyperion (Titan god of heavenly light), Litismós (goddess of culture), Mnemosyne (Titaness of memory & language), Lyrikós (Titaness of voice & song), Clymene (Titaness of fame & renown), Themis (Titaness of justice), Praxidike (goddess of judicial punishment), Asteria (Titaness of falling stars, astrology, magic, necromancy, and nocturnal oracles & prophecies), Bronte (goddess of thunder), and Astrape (goddess of lightning). With the younger crowd, she's quite fond of Demeter (goddess of the harvest & agriculture) and Hestia (goddess of the hearth)

She is a secret lover of Luxuria shoes. Phoebe’s also a growing fan of the jeweled clutches from Diamond Ave.- with Apollo gifting her one in the shape of a glittering silver jeweled castle for her birthday! Phoebe's main "job" (and major source of income) is being an esteemed writer of thriller, mystery, & noir fiction novels. All of her stories have a hint of magical realism! A lot of her books have received great acclaim in reviews in The Oracle newspaper as well as Modern Olympus magazine. For other work, she models for/endorses Euryphaessa, Megaleio, and Platinum Luminescence & is a frequent writer of Modern Olympus and The Oracle newspaper.

In her free time, if she's not spending time with her husband, hanging out with her grandson or gardening and cooking with her daughter, Phoebe really loves writing (working on her books). Some of her best ideas for stories come pouring out of her during a full moon. She's also part of Mnemosyne's cultured book club where she brings her tasty deviled eggs as the hors d' oeuvres. Phoebe also enjoys cooking, some of her favorite dishes being spetsofai, orzo lemon chicken soup, fried chicken, rice & gravy, and vegetable pastitsio.
