anon darling it’s just like you’re tryna distract me from my responsibilities, this is so fucking hot (sorry this took so long)

you struggled to maintain balance against the slippery surface of the glass pane; one leg curled around rafe’s hip, the other acting as a wobbly support beam for the rest of your body.

shallow puffs— and on occasion, a groan —slipped past the blonde’s lips. aside from that, the only other noise reverberating throughout the dark room was a product of sarah’s so called ‘charity case party’ downstairs.

rafe’s less than affable sentiment toward the pogues was no secret, but at least when you were around it gave him something else to focus on— even if their presence still got beneath his skin. tonight was different, however. different in the sense that he was given a reason to pick a bone– and unsurprisingly, he snaffled the opportunity up like a provoked animal.

even if a kind heart resided somewhere beneath jj's signature tattered tank top, this didn't stop him from being a real pain in the ass from time to time. it started when you arrived home from country club, loud laughs floating through the front door as the group of friends congregated around the kitchen, enjoying a few beers.

rafe had been intent on dragging you upstairs as fast as your legs could carry you when the mischievous blonde made a harmless jibe at your boyfriends 'anti-social behaviour'. rafe merely rolled his eyes, continuing to trek toward the staircase... but then jj just had to bring you into it.

"hey man if you don't wanna stick 'round that's cool, but you're misses is more than welcome... gotta spot for her right here." your eyes scrunched closed as he obnoxiously patted his thighs; you knew where this was headed.

when rafe chuckled, the sound was ugly and humourless and regretfully familiar. you were forced to hold him back as his large frame lunged at jj, a brief commotion ensued– sarah and kie screaming and clawing at the boys to stop– before your boyfriend finally came to his senses (it was a suicide mission going 1 v 3).

he flung an arm over your shoulder, wiping a small blotch of blood from his nose with a snort. "i'll be lookin' out for you at the club, jj, hopefully we can continue this civil conversation then."

you were quick to coax him onward as the other blonde shouted out an equally childish response.

rafe's emotions only ranged between 0-100. he was never happy, but ecstatic, and the same went for the other side of the coin; he was never mad, but fuming. that's why when you reached his bedroom and he began the process of aggressively tearing off his clothing, you knew you were in for it.

and that was how you ended up here: splayed against the cool glass of rafe's bedroom window, exposed from your head down to your toes as his hips flick into yours ardently. the pool was just around the corner of the weatherboard plantation, and you scrunched your eyes in embarrassment, praying no one would venture so close to be able to see.

“someone’s quiet." he huffed out, lips latching onto your neck as your head falls back in a choked gasped.

"the others, they could–" your voice dwindled into an airy mewl as he angled his hips upward, hitting that one spot that scrambled you brain.

"yeah, that's the fuckin' point." his ravenous mouth latched onto your , doing everything in his power to draw you out from your shell...and it was working.

he snickered "rafe–"

"c'mon, gorgeous. this is my fuckin' house, let'em hear– it's all they'll ever get."

you knew what he was referring to, or more accurately who he was referring to. the possessiveness practically oozing from his dark gaze, those strong hands that pinned you to the spot. he groaned when you tightened around him, face falling into the crook of your neck. sensing your end, his fingers ventured down to your swollen clit. "that's it, come on my cock."

your cheeks burned as you did just that, a loud wail of his name being extracted from your raw throat. he joined you shortly after, grunting as he pulled you into a sloppy kiss. you orbs were glossed over and delirious, and he smirked, tapping your cheek. "'m gonna go shower, don't forget to go pee."

you nodded and your gaze briefly flitted to the backyard as rafe sauntered into the bathroom, widening as a flash of blonde disappeared from view.

Skill 1 is an infinite duration skill that increases her trait healing effect and reduces "Fine Dust" respawn time

Here When You're Ready

After Martin is rescued from the Lonely, it takes a long time for him to become comfortable with physical contact again, let alone affection. Jon is willing to be patient with him, no matter how long it takes. And so, it takes three months for Jon and Martin to share their first kiss.

Jon/Martin, 1.7k words, rated T, read on AO3. this is for the prompt 'first kiss' for @jonmartinweek :D

Jon holds Martin's hand the whole way to Scotland.

They sit with their shoulders pressed tight together, with both of Jon's hands wrapped around one of Martin's. His skin is cold and clammy, pale and desaturated. His glasses are misty with the fog pooling on the train carriage floor. His hair is more white than it is blond. His freckles are more of a vague idea than even a suggestion now. But, as Jon rests his cheek on Martin's shoulder, rubs little circles with his thumb on the back of Martin's palm, Martin grows a little more colourful by the time they reach Edinburgh Waverly.

His hair grows warmer and fluffier, his skin more pink, his freckles more stark. Even his eyes are brighter, a cosy hazel. The only feature of the Lonely left is a streak of white cutting through his fringe. Jon still doesn't let go of his hand.

From Edinburgh, it's another train to Glasgow Central, then a Caledonia Sleeper to the Highlands. Trains from dawn till dusk. Their cabin is small, but big enough. They don't stop for dinner—Martin claims not to be hungry, and Jon quite literally doesn't eat anymore—so they simply crawl into the double bed, tangled up in each other's legs and arms. Jon traces patterns over Martin's shoulder blades until he falls asleep, slow and even breaths rustling his hair. Jon follows suit moments after.

Basira had arranged a car to take them to the safehouse, told them what to say to let the driver know they were a friend of Daisy's. The driver doesn't talk to them the whole two hour's drive there; she chucks their bags in the boot, gets in the front, and waits for them to get in the back. Martin sits in the left backseat and Jon sits in the middle. The driver eyes their interlocked hands in the mirror before she adjusts it, then sets off. Martin holds his hand tight, resting his other hand over it. He stares out the window the whole drive, and Jon watches Martin. His eyes flick back and forth as he watches the rolling hills, follows the rain trickling down the glass. The corner of his lips turn up at the sight of sheep, alpacas, horses, highland cows. His cheeks turn pink when he catches Jon staring.

The safehouse was described as a cottage by Basira, but Jon thinks that's a bit of a stretch. The living room and dining room are one room, with a bathroom to the left and a bedroom at the back. The whole place is a bit dingy and musty. Dust sits on every surface, turning everything greyish brown. Luckily, Daisy keeps a seemingly endless supply of wipes and cloths just for the purpose.

They clean the couch and coffee table together, then the kitchen, then the bedroom, then the floors and windows. By the time it gets to the evening, they're too tired to do anything but have a half-hearted dinner and fall into bed. Martin sleeps half on top of Jon, and Jon doesn't mind the pins and needles in his fingers the next morning.

This is all to say, Jon doesn't quite know how they went from 100 to 0 in the span of one day.

The next day, Jon tries to hold Martin's hand again, and Martin flinches away with a nervous laugh and a red face. Over the day, there is lots of blushing and clearing throats and inching away from each other. It only gets worse through the next week.

Jon tries his very best not to Know what's going on, but as far as he can figure, Martin kind of stopped experiencing the human range of emotions when he was thrown fully into the Lonely. Not that it's all bleeding back into him, so too has his tendency to be a nervous, flustered wreck. It's incredibly endearing. But, also a little worrying, considering Jon did give him a whole 'I love you, let's run away to another country' monologue right before they got their train tickets.

So, Jon prepares for a slow journey of becoming accustomed to each other and getting comfortable. After two weeks, they work up to having a long chat about boundaries, especially regarding the bed, as Jon had moved to sleep on the couch that felt more cardboard than stuffing and it was destroying his back more than it already was. Actually sharing the bed is a whole other issue. Martin sleeps like a rock and Jon tosses and turns the whole night. He, luckily, wakes up early enough to remove himself from clinging to Martin's side — he would rather keep over than make him uncomfortable.

It's a long climb to the top where they reach cuddling on the couch and spooning in bed, and every time, Jon has to steel himself to not show how happy it makes him. If he gets too giddy, it might send Martin running. At least, that's what his brain keeps telling him. Either way, after a month, they spend practically every second of the day holding hands, or leaning on each other's shoulders, or folded up in each other's laps.

But still, it takes almost three months for them to kiss for the first time.

When it does happen, it's on a warm evening with golden light pouring through the windows, bathing everything in a golden light.

"Nice break from the rain," Martin mumbles after finishing the last dregs of his tea. Jon hums from his cosy spot under Martin's arm. The radio plays lazily in the background, tinny and static filled, struggling to reach them all the way out here.

"Well, that's Scotland for you," Jon sighs. "Rain and wind and sleet, and occasionally twenty five degrees and sunny."

"Wish we could have visited when we're not on the run." Jon hums again, feeling sleepy and warm in the sunlight (he supposes Martin was not entirely wrong about comparing him to a cat). He wants to keep up the nice conversation, but he's about this close to falling asleep on Martin's shoulder.

The song quietly fades out and back into a new track. Some retro tune that might have been a top 40. The speakers make the lyrics sound garbled, even through the Gaelic, but its slow and soulful plucked guitar still makes it out. Jon watches Martin slowly bounce his knee to the beat, tapping his heel against the rug in a dull thump. Jon smiles as he gets an idea.

With a sluggish reluctance, he untangles himself from Martin's arm, straightening out his jumper and skirt. He holds out a hand to Martin.

"Care for a dance?"

Martin's face lights up in an adorable bright pink, and Jon suddenly Knows that this is a daydream Martin has had for years. He fights down a little smile. He won't tell Martin that one (at least, not for a little while). Martin takes his hand and they stand up.

They fall into position easily; they interlock their right hands, Martin's left on Jon's waist, and Jon's on Martin's shoulder. They sheepishly smile at each other as they start to sway back and forth to the croning of the radio. It's an easy rhythm to fall into, even if Jon keeps accidentally stepping on Martin's toes.

The song fades into another, and another, and eventually, Jon has settled his head on Martin's chest. The sun has set, and the candles in the room are their only light. A faint wind whistles outside the windows, rustles the leaves of the trees. Jon looks back up at Martin, only to be met with adoring eyes and a gentle smile. He moves his hand from Martin's shoulder up to cup his cheek.

Ultimately, it's Martin who makes the move.

His arm winds further around Jon's middle, his hand flat against the plane of his back. He untangles their right hands to stroke Jon's hair out of his face, resting it on his neck after tucking the strands behind his ear. Standing chest to chest — or, as close as they can get with his stature — Jon is sure Martin can feel his heart pounding under his skin. If he does, he mustn't mind all that much, as he leans down and kisses Jon.

Their lips slot together like they were moulded for it, and Jon honestly thinks fireworks might be setting off, or the room is glowing pink, or whatever other cheesy garbage happens in movies. All of them, those sweet tooth rom-coms, he suddenly understands them. He understands why people write poetry in the instant Martin threads his fingers into Jon's hair.

Martin holds him close like he's something precious, rubs his thumb in a gentle circle across his temple. Jon slides his arms up to hold Martin around his middle, slowly rising on his tip toes so Martin doesn't have to lean over as much. The radio fades off into chatter between the two hosts and Jon hardly even notices. Martin's lips are soft and warm, his hands careful and reverent. They pull away from each other for just a second to breathe, then launch back in, holding each other tight.

It's everything Jon imagined and more. His skin tingles all over, but especially where Martin touches him. He's never been one for much physical affection, but Martin seems to have wriggled his way right into Jon's heart (he almost chucks up at how bloody cheesy he's gotten).

Jon very, very reluctantly pulls away after another few moments, his feet aching from standing on his toes, and he draws in a deep, shuddering breath. Martin's face is beet red, and Jon almost—almost—laughs. Instead, he smiles fondly and readjusts his squinty glasses.

"Sorry, I've–" Martin interrupts himself with a little chuckle. "I've basically destroyed your hair."

Jon just laughs, tipping his head forward against Martin's chest. The noise can most accurately be described as a giggle. Jon doesn't think he's ever giggled before. Martin laughs as well, louder than Jon had heard in what could be years.

They blow out the candles and get ready for bed not long after, bundling under the duvet and blankets, wrapped up in each other's arms and peppering each other's faces with kisses. Jon knows the peace won't last. But, right now, he decides to pretend it can last forever.

And it almost feels like it will.

how do you know/estimate what the threshold should be in stat checks? like, “if [blank]<20” or “if [blank]<40” at certain points in the game? how can you be sure the thresholds aren’t too high or low? i hope this makes sense, thanks!

Determine your range ahead of time so you know what you're working with, keep an eye on how many choices affect approval, and go off of that. You will likely have to adjust it, but this is what playtesting is for. Your playtesters will be able to tell you if an approval stat drops or increases too rapidly, or if they get locked off from something that should be possible.

I personally prefer to stick to a 0-100 range. Then I use math.clamp to keep any approval changes within that range and ensuring it doesn't exceed 0 or 100.

Within that 0-100 range, I have different ranges that represent emotional connection. There are five of them and they go in sets of 20:

0 - 19 is Hostile

20 - 39 is Cold

40 - 59 is Neutral

60 - 79 is Friendly

80 - 100 is Loving

Many of Wayfarer's approval checks are set at the starting number of a particular range, depending on the content I want the player to access. For example, most of Aeran's high friendship content is gated behind 60 and above because it encapsulates both the "friendly" and "loving" state. Then within that branch, there are flavour text changes between whether you're in the 60-79 friendly stage or the 80-100 loving stage.

There's no surefire way to know where to put your threshold. It depends on your game and how you're making it. The main advice I can give you is that your need to determine a range, stay consistent, and then adjust accordingly if checks are lining up. It won't be perfect the first time you do it.

I’m sitting in a doctor’s office waiting for x-rays of every joint in my left arm after going off the side of a bike ramp and wiping out. Got diagnosed with a freak sinus infection that went from 0 to 100 in less than 24 hours yesterday. I went for the bike ride to try to break things up in my sinuses and ended up crashing… A sweet Loki caring for y/n story would be lovely. 🥹

Your whole body felt as if it was run over by a bulldozer, you hated, no wait, absolutely despised being sick. There was nothing fun about not being able to breathe from your nose.

"Princess" you looked at the god of mischief aka your boyfriend as he returned to the bedroom with a bowl of soup in his hands. He didn't know how to cook but he learned the recipe from this thing called YouTube and he hoped that the chicken soup he made was edible at least. He didn't want you to get even more ill because of his cooking

"Look at you..being all—" before you could finish your sentence you had a sneeze waiting to explode.

"Ahhh okay, woooh, my brain almost came out.. look at you being all wifey huh" he chuckled as he sat down on the edge of the bed, he conjured a bed tray and placed the bowl on it.

You couldn't believe sometimes that you got to call him yours, when you met him he didn't even look at you twice, he was mean, aloof and he was allergic to things like using words to communicate and expressing his emotions in a healthy way. But slowly and after much persuasion from your side he started to melt, he started to see you differently from other mortals. After a month of you pestering him to go out on a date with him, when he finally did he was smittened, floored by this enigma of a woman who was hell bent on loving him. Women weren't like this on Asgard, they didn't act so cute around him the way you did, he adored you, every part of you.

"Shush your mouth and drink it or eat it, I read that this infection you are having will take a couple of days to go away, how do you feel my sweet girl?" he tucked your hair behind your ears and you hummed in response.

"I feel like a turd but I'm glad my boyfriend that I love so much is here, btw this is yummmmyy" his eyes twinkled as you said, everytime you confessed your undying love for him his heart fluttered. Sometimes he couldn't even believe that he was loved by someone, someone so pure and selfless.

"That's a relief, let me prepare a warm bath for you okay? You do not have a fever now do you?" he pressed his palm on your forehead and you shook your head. He was wearing a black shirt and a pair of trousers, not that you didn't adore him in his asgardian glory but just something about him being so casual like a normal human boyfriend made you feel so giddy.

"Finish it before I return, I love you" he kissed your forehead and strutted towards the bathroom. After the bath he picked you up effortlessly and dressed you up in new clothes, then he brushed your hair to get rid of all the tangles

"Looooo" you looked up at him and he hummed in response while his mind focused on being as gentle as he could be with your scalp, you had a sensitive scalp and he didn't want to hurt you

"You are pretty lo..so pretty" you smiled and scrunched your nose, that somehow made you sneeze again, your nose thought of it as a sneezing invitation

"Thank you my sneezy little monster, and you are divine even when you are sick"

You smiled and he groaned as his phone rang,

"Speak" that's how he addressed a phone call, he hated the word hello for some reason, he rolled his eyes as it was Stark on the other side, while he was talking you just admired the way his lips moved

"Look I do not have time for this alright, he can die for all I care but I need answers by tonight, honestly be grateful I am not there or he'd be dead right now, make him speak" he got so angry by the time he was done, so pissed off and he huffed as he cut the call

He was ruthless, scary, and mean with others. But not with you, never with you

"Sorry about that darling, what were you saying to me hmm?" His voice turned softer instantly, and he leaned down to kiss you, then he focused on detangling your locks again

"I love you so much" he smiled as you said that

"I love you more sweet princess"

He picked you up again and carried you like a baby, then he placed you down on the kitchen counter while he attempted to make lunch for you.

Something nutritious and healthy. That's what sick mortals are supposed to eat.

"How does Vegetable porridge sound?" He asked you and you scrunched your nose again

"It sounds horrible but I know you'd make it good my master chef"

He made a cup of ginger tea for you to sip on while he made lunch, it helps with the blocked nose. At this point you didn't even need a doctor, he researched everything even though he has never gotten sick himself. Some godly immunity he said. While the porridge was in the pot simmering he walked over to you, placed his arms around your sides, and smiled as he watched your face contorting, you placed your hands on your face to avoid sneezing all over him

"How are you so adorable all the time?" He asked you as he kissed your forehead

"I'm adorable with adorable people"

"Oooh the flattery, are you trying to get into my pants miss?" He gasped and you raised your brow

"Glad you noticed" you winked and he smiled so wide. He loves you immensely, he'd do anything for you.

Once he fed you lunch with his own hands, he gave you the medicines you were supposed to take and then he finally picked you up and it was time for the mandatory sick cuddle fest, so he laid you down on the bed, got next to you and snuggled you into him tightly, you sighed as you felt his comforting touch. You are sooo going to husband him up someday.

"You know I hate being sick but if you would take care of me like this may be I wouldn't dread it so much when I feel it coming next time" he caressed your head with his fingers and his eyes teared up, he was so soft for you, you always melted him like a butter over the hot knife

"Well as much as I enjoy this I never want to see you suffer like this again"

"Mmmmmm gosh I am going to marry you someday" he couldn't help but chuckle as you said that

"I'll be an awful husband darling"

"That's what you said to me when I asked you to be my boyfriend, look at you now, treating me like a queen"

"Well you are my queen" you pecked on his lips softly and got on top of him, he was more comfortable to sleep on then the bed. He had a busy job as an avenger, most of the times you didn't get to see him for days in a row, he was supposed to be on a mission yesterday but as soon as he found that you have fallen ill he dropped everything and he haven't left your side since, and you knew he wouldn't until you are back at being your healthiest.

"Darling" you hummed as the medicine started to make you feel drowsy very quickly.

"You can marry me someday or tomorrow, or today if you want, I would want to do that with you" you looked at him and your eyes teared up. The heartless god of mischief wasn't so heartless. Not with the people he loved and cared about.

"Okay we will do it someday"

You hated being sick but now that you had someone like him taking care of you like this, the feeling got from worse to just bad.

As long as you had him you knew you'd never have to suffer alone..

We'll say that this takes place after the latest archon event

Scara decides to do some serious soul searching, especially after being granted an anemo vision

And at the end of his journey, he finds himself back in Inazuma

Inazuma brings up icky memories for him, but he can't help the twinge of emotion in his chest when he stands near the Shogun's statue

Just as luck would have it, Miko is nearby and becomes the whole catalyst to the reunion and reconciliation

Naturally, she invites Scara to the shrine and invites Ei, both without the other knowing

Scara almost leaves as soon as he sees Ei

But, thanks to Miko, he stays to actually speak with the Archon

While he doesn't fully forgive her yet, he's willing to give her a chance

Which leads to Ei planning a big day out for them tomorrow

The following day, they meet at the shrine again

From there, Ei brings Scara around Inazuma, proudly speaking about it all

At some point, Scara feels himself starting to slip

It's something about being with his creator and her actually taking the time for him

So, he stops to sit on a bench, which Ei quickly takes note of and stops

She crouches in front of him and takes his hands gently

"Is everything okay, Kuni?"

"Told you... it's Scawa.."

As soon as he speaks, Ei knows what's going on

She read about this the night before, just in case

Well. She read a parenting book she borrowed from Miko. It's close enough, right?

"Do you want to go back home?"

Scara refuses immediately, instead making grabby hands for his mom

Ei picks him up with ease and they're off to finish their tour

Sure, people look, but they don't question their archon's doing

Ever since then, when Scara begins to regress he's quick to make his way over to his mother

If he's out of Inazuma when he regresses, he'll have his own mini panic attack

He has to reason with himself that his mom didn't abandon him again, that she's just in a different nation

But he'll make his way over as soon as possible

He's a very weepy baby

Ei loves to shower him with attention

She gives him all the time to be little, and if they need complete solitude she'll take him to her plane of euthymia

It's a lot brighter now, it's safe for baby Scara

Ei has a baby bag. She takes it with her whenever her and Scara are spending time together

She would absolutely get a baby carier custom made for Scara

She would get a lot made for him

The plane of euthymia now has a bunch of baby toys as well as furniture

Their favorite thing to do is people watch

Ei will keep Scara on her lap and just sit them in one of the densely populated areas

Miko takes pictures of them whenever she's around, so Ei has a big collection of those too

Worth mentioning, Ei shares her sweets with Scara

Scara loves dango milk, 100%

Either way !! Scara is finally getting to live his baby dreams with his mama

Which has been the only word he's uttered while regressed

It's not like he can't say more, he just prefers to babble

I need Nesta to be moody now. Like going forward I need to see Nesta feeling it all. No more internal gates and a stringent level of control. I need Nesta to always and from now on be 0-100. She’s going to cry. She’s going to laugh. She’s going to be irate and tearing things apart. She’s going to be everything all at once. Her love knows no bounds and neither does her hatred, nor her empathy, or her arrogance, or her anxiety. The way I see it is her emotional range is now expanded and it would be really cool to see what feeling so deeply means in an everyday context.

Trope List

Age gap: 7/10

Age gap alone isn’t a selling point for me, especially since there’s a world of difference between, say, 30/40, 20/30, 15/25, 50/500, etc. But if I get into a ship that has an age gap, especially a le problematique one, I will lean into it full tilt, as you can currently see with goyuu. There’s a lot of fun, often fucked-up, things to be done with differing life experiences and maturity levels, and that’s usually interesting to explore. From the reading end, it depends on the individual ship and also how the specific fic approaches it.

Codependency 10/10

Hell to the fuck yeah! I prefer unhealthy relationships over healthy ones (...in fiction, Tumblr), and codependency tends to add a fun flavor. I’m picky about it when reading. I default to it when writing.

Enemies to lovers 10/10

Good stuff, and I’ll never say no to some violent hate sex. I don’t have many ships like this though; it’s mostly something I read. Or make AUs of.

Enemies with benefits 6/10

Fun concept, depends on the execution. I’d prefer that it become enemies to lovers in the end, however.

Fake dating/relationship -7/10

It’s not an instaquit, and I have read and enjoyed fics with this premise, but the trope itself is something that I’m not a fan of. Mostly because it tends to follow a certain romcom formula that I’m not a fan of.

Found family -5/10

I’ll read it, and as a theme, it’s fine, but for one, what I often see described as found family is...not. It’s friendship—and that’s my preference anyway. Friends who support and love each other, without the label of family attached. This is a heavily personal preference, obviously.

Friends to lovers 7/10

It’s good; it can be fun. The way friendship evolves into a romantic and/or sexual relationship can also be quite interesting and emotionally fulfilling.

Friends with benefits 7/10

As a central relationship, I’d prefer that it become friends to lovers eventually. The execution matters again because too romcomy, and I get turned off. Throw in some emotional fuckery, and I’m sold. It’s also one of my go-to flavors for minor/background/past relationships when writing. Friends who fuck without strings is a fun concept.

Hurt/comfort 8/10

A solid concept, and depending on the execution, it can range from pleasant to devastating (in a good way).

Love triangle -10/10

A “proper” love triangle is something I find about as compelling as stale vomit. It’s not an instant nope because I like the sort that evolves into poly—either triads or V-style poly (that is, A/B and C/B, with A and C as metamours). When reading, I prefer the former, and when writing, I prefer the latter.

Mistaken/hidden identity 10/10

Sign me the fuck up. Identity porn is almost as good as actual porn.

Monster fu… relationship 10/10 (100/10)

I have "Monsterfuckers Inc.” as a semi-frequently used fic tag on Ao3. I’ll let you guess just how into this I am. I’m into it for the freaky sex, but typical relationship development is always a plus.

Obsession, possessiveness, etc 10/10

Unhealthy relationships my beloved.

Opposites (like grumpy×sunshine, etc) 0/10

Fine in theory, but whether I’m into it depends on the execution. I don’t think I write it much.

Poly 7/10

JJK is the first time I’ve written (and planning to write more) poly relationships, but I’ve read and enjoyed quite a few in previous fandoms. Again, execution matters, but the concept is fun.

pregnancy nope/10

Major squick, and it seems to be becoming more and more of one these days. Ironically, I’m very into breeding kink and monster-style impregnation (eggpreg, insta-birth-type monster offspring etc.). It’s realistic pregnancy (and the mpreg equivalent of realistic pregnancy) that puts me off.

Second chance 0/10

Rated it neutral because this can be either 10/10 or -10/10 for me depending on how it’s handled. No middle ground lol.

Sex to feelings 10/10

Been there done that. Love the concept, can go rabid over it if done right. I certainly like writing it.

Slowburn 6/10

I’ve read and enjoyed plenty of slowburn fics, but it’s not a formula I’m a fan of. When I write it, it always tends to be the “sex to feelings” sort.

Soulmates 0/10

Another case of either 10/10 or -10/10. The easiest way to get me into it is to play into the horror/angst aspects. “People who fate decreed as belonging to each other” doesn’t appeal much to me.

I judge fandom ship top and bottom potential by how much potential a character has to be Nick Valentine. Cause Nick Valentine is the top of tops and the most absolute top to ever top. Nobody tops him.

ayo big ups to the cast on this one!!!!!! I was shocked to see so few people in the cast compared to other nights (pandemic times, amiright) but hot damn what a brilliant story they weaved together!!!!

listen, I am all for Laura Kirman and Lauren Shearing romcom supremacy my dudes (gender neutral)

their love story was so friggin sweet!!! their scene on the mini-golf course and the awkwardness afterwards was so accurate and so endearing!!

Laura seems like such a load of fun - her grandiose entrance and that note she hit??????? queen shit!!!!!! excited to see more of her shenanigans!!!

and Lauren plays endearing characters so well how can you not love her????? but she's also equally loveable when she's being cheeky and causing mischief lololol

Ellie trying to be mean was so funny to watch lolol

like, she really went from 0 to 100 when she insinuated that her character pushed a grandma down the stairs XDD

Anna (Laura): You're a nasty, nasty woman!

Louise (Ellie): *desperately trying to wrap up her story arc because it's almost the end of the movie* And I'm not gonna learn my lesson! :D

Dave is in absolutely fine form and yes, I mean that in all definitions XD Dave really said as the token male of the cast tonight, I will be playing the boytoy to be ogled at, and you all have full permission to address me as such lmaoooo we appreciate your sacrifice, sir o7 /half-joking

Bryony does what she does best: play an elderly person XD if I had a dollar for every elderly person I've seen her play, I'd have two dollars. it's not much, but it is odd that it's happened twice lololol

an absolute cracker of a character!!! such sassy lines and brutal advice!!! 😂 her scenes with Hen (yes, a wild Henry Lewis appeared via Zoom!!!!! it was delightful!!!! he's bloody brilliant!!!!) were so friggin sweet too omg!!!! <3

and oh my days her character ending!!!!! 😭 also, she had so many good scenes??????? but like, all of them did!!!!!!!

actually, this whole movie hit all the emotional beats incredibly well, it was magic!!!!!!!

perhaps somewhat to the detriment of the cast, with Oscar/Jono breaking character twice as he keeps an eye on them 😅 (which, mind you, was very sweet to see)

we love that moment when everyone's trying to figure out what the scene should be, so no one's actually on stage XD

Bryony: *starts to run on stage as the camera cuts away*

Oscar: Pause! Pause! Pause! *head in hands*

*cut to Bryony, sprawled on the floor as if she's fallen down the 2 steps of the stage and Dave midway through entering the scene*

*cut back to Oscar*

Oscar/Jon, somewhat nervously as he cranes his head around to look at the stage: Are you ok, Bry?

*a beat*

Bryony, offstage and cool as you like: Yes.

Oscar: Ok, good! Yes, yes, we carry on the movie- we carry on the movie- I really worried then! I really thought that we got two minutes in- gotta change the cast, got another one down- but no! It's fine! It's fine!

there is one big downside to this movie, and that is the smoke machine- terrible scene partner, never expected in the scene, always coming in too strong, 0/10 performance lmaooo

Oscar: Pause. And I think we have enough time for a final moment of performance from Bertie, who's desperately trying to work out how to signal that he wants to speak.

Hen really said "I got this, fam" and proceeded to straight up just tell Bryony to leave the room LMAO

ayo also huge kudos to Yshani and Richard for sneaking Bond music in whenever Dave- sorry, James Bond was in the scene XD

Marcus (Dave): Sorry, gals, but I'm back, and I'm pretty tired now! Alright, here we go! *proceeds to lead everyone through a ridiculously Zumba/aerobics-esque high energy dance while still looking like the most energetic person in the room*

Oscar, laughing: Pause! What I love is that obviously, when there's a song, there's a really clear moment when the song ends and we know that the movie's over. But with a dance, it's much harder to find that moment! But they do find that moment, before- because Dave does look very tired!

Marcus, voice breaking halfway through the sentence: Don't you worry, gals, I've got plenty in the tank!

*cue the music getting faster and the dancing getting faster*

and then Dave does a freaking cartwheel on the spot XD (ngl, I rated it - perhaps not in technique but geez the man has springs in his limbs lol)

this is a scav! They are the 2nd smartist creatures (not inculding robot people ofc. and humans.) They are in groups most times. like lizards you have a rep for them starts at 0 (for most..."people" they dont really like. cancer.) for others, they start higher as they since your a kid. And for one character they will send hitmen out to you. Each one have randomly generated looks and traits. They are. NOT. dumb. as they can do what you do. throw your weapons and items back at you

They will make drawings-graffiit on places to lead to they're merchants that will trade with you For what? i dunno do items nect lol.

^ treasure room, thye let you in if your rep is a min of 90. and you will loose 30 rep for each item you take they will talk to you and have diffrent reactions to you:

Threat, meaning they dont like your spear but are not going to attack. suggesting you drop it

Warning, rep is to low, they can and will throw a spear at you if you get close.

asking for an item, or just pawing the ground for fun.

Fear, rep is in the negatives, will back away when not in a group

They own tolls, that lead to shortcuts or just safe areas to chill. Need anything to give to and they let you go, also you can gift them stuff here I'll uhhh hint at the characters and they're starting rep The survivor - starts at 0. Monk - starts at 25! Hunter- starts at -35 (They no like your looks... tentacles.) These other names are fake im not fucking telling you who thye are The lucky star-0 rep The son.-12, son of a robot person, they dont like you that much but wont attack. Built to last.-45 rep, It was the old times. they dont know you. The one made to kill scavs-100, hitmans will be sent.

oogling & peering at this info…. DAMN i love the society these guys have!!! theyre so much more intelligent/sociable/and diverse in terms of looks/behaviours/etc etc than any of the other creatures weve seen!!

i have to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the atmosphere & layouts of the merchant & treasure rooms!!!! Genuinely so much beautiful & gorgeous detail put into it, i love all the patterns & markings covering the walls/room in general!! &nd the lighting they used makes it look even more prettier than if it had none!! Lovely lovely

Theres so much personality & so much more emotion put into these guys oh my gosh i love how silly & colourful they can look…. heart hearts <33💛💕 these guys are going up HIGHHH on my favourite creatures within RW list. all the small details from how: if you have rep in the negatives, they will back away from you, and only warn you off with spears when in a group. to even the teeniest tinniest things like how their eyes will WIDEN & the screen will SHAKE when threatening you!!!!! ohmylord yeah i. yeah i have to say i REALLT REALLY like these fellas…. YEAH YEAH okay i definitely do. !!!!!!!!

i will find out the items they will trade another time…. But i do really enjoy how these guys are like. Kinda the FACE of trading in rw. I follow an account that posts scavs from IDs they have, and especially since these guys are randomly generated, ive REALLY seen how these guys can range from funky, to weepy, to really odd, to cute & pretty, to borderline “you arent even able to see whats going on” LOL I REALLY LOVE THAT FACTOR THEY HAVE ABOUT EM!!!!

if i could come back as a rw creature these guys are high up on that list.. currently… i would heavily enjoy having large all-knowing eyes that simultaneously have nothing going on inside, and horns on my head and trade & paw at dirt all day long but… i will consider my options & we will see as we go on…. !!!

anyways, previously ive made jokes about characters having vendettas again hunter before, but nevermind actually whoever the OTHER red slug (“made to kill scavs”) ACTUALLY has a vendetta against them. not even a joke this time man how BAD of a thing did you have to do that an ENTIRE RACE will send HITMEN out for you at a moments notice. WHAT IN THE EVERLOVING WORLD DID YOU DO, RED NUMBER 2???
