Akashi for the ship tier list please, because i'm very predictable

Ok Im not going to give a long explanation about each ship. But I totally am going to give an explanation about most of them.

Senpai♡♡♡: My top 1(they share a position) ships with Akashi, his first captain(and love) and his shadow. I could go on a rant about why they both make such good pairs but then this post would exceed 100,000 words. Ill just conclude by saying that they are top tier(literally)

SS+: MidoAka & TakaAka(they are a package deal) are absolutely adorable. I live both of them Individually but I prefer TakaAka along witb Mido(because MidoTakaAka is superior)

MibuAka: Ive already explained my thoughts on these two about a 100 times so ill just summarize. Both of them love each other so much it doesnt even matter whether its romantic or platonic. Reo just cares about Akashi so much and Akashi views Reo as someone so special to him its just a very good ship.

NashAka: Nash has a crush on Akashi. Enough said.

AoAka: Also have spoken about them quite a bit. Their friendship is so sweet and they have so much trust and faith in each other. They think so highly of eachother. Plus that dialogue in the kuroko's birthday ova was very cute.

KiAka: Very cute and fluffy pairing. Akashi saw Kise's potential from the beginning and encourage him to grow. Kise would definitely include akashi in a bunch of them and make him happy.

SS: This post is getting very long and I want to talk more about the other tiers so ill just include all of them here. All of these ships are very cute and Akashi would benefit a lot from these relationships. The friendships alone are great and the characters themselves are some of Akashi's greatest friends. Riko and Akashi would be a spectacular duo and im not elaborating any further.

I read one fic about these and I see the vision: I read a HanaAka fic(Beyond the waiting room and its sequel by sweet rosei) and I absolutely adored it. It does not only have the ship but it also talks about akashi's mental health, the selectivism about violence and Hanamiya's violence as well. Overall great fic 10/10 would recommend. Im definitely more open to this ship because of it.

OgiAka is a very special ship. I imagine that after the winter cup the GoM apologise to Ogiwara for the 111-11 match and afterwards Ogiwara asks akashi whether he likes basketball and this time Akashi says yes and I think it would be a very cute moment between the two.

Brothers: I know that AkaAka is a ship(pretty weird if you ask me) but I really cant see them as anything other than brothers. They love and care for each other more than anything. Bokushi was created to protect Oreshi and would do anything for him. One of my favorite things about them is thr character song "Return" when Akashi says " Now along with my other self" or something along those lines and its just so sweet that Oreshi is bringing his little brother with him on his healing journey.

Polyam: NijiHaiAka and MuraHimuAka that is all

Respect it but no thanks: Ive already explained my thoughts on AkaFuri before. All I will say is that I prefer their friendship more than their romantic relationship. Mostly because the fandom ruined it for me.

Soulbonded: Akashi and Kuroko's relationship cannot be justified with a word as simple as romance. Their bond is so deep it goes deeper than the mariana trench.

This still ended up being long as hell. Oh well

Romance Snippet Game!

I've been tagged by @ultfreakme a long ass time ago but I'm finally getting around to this. I've got 3 current wips to draw from but they are all the same ship so I'll just throw them all here anyways!

Things That Hold Us Together: Steel Bolts and Tender Hearts - (android/technician)

There must be some invisible field that Akashi is able to tap into, something of pure energy that connects to the electricity and internet and- and who knows what else- that makes him the epicenter and able to to control everything with a single synapse in their neural network… Kouki has never heard of such a thing, let alone any theory that alludes to this. It’s… it’s amazing, world altering tech. He feels like a man first encountering fire.

He harshly swallows down the wonder choking him. “Oh.”

Akashi’s eyes stop sparking and the technology returns to normal with the suddenness of gravity being turned back on. The apartment feels much smaller and cramped than before. It’s drab. He hates it.

He turns to Kouki, standing on his right as always. His love looked similarly distressed based on his clenched jaw and his fidgeting fingers.

And then there is the other problem with leaving.

He would be discarding his fate. Throwing away the stars and the moon. Abandoning all that he believed in, all that pulled him through life. His name was to be etched into history.

Could he forget what the gods had promised him?

They already blessed him with Kouki. They were entwined in the stars long before either was born. Seijuurou would be spitting on his fate, on the wondrous gift he is.

The man is the best part of his life. -----

“Good.” He purrs, lifting their hands to his mouth and presses light kisses into Kouki’s hand, each a promise of devotion.

Approval from Seijuurou always made him a tad dizzy which only increased when his sly mouth drew in a finger. The enveloping wet heat did nothing to stop the haze his mind easily slipped into. After all, Seijuurou is excellent with his tongue in more ways than one.

“You’ve gotten quite skilled at th-that.” His voice breaks at the sharp suck pulling him deeper into the cavernous warmth.

Seijuurou is unhurried as if they have all the time in the world. Every curl is an act of worship, and he would be worried about the obvious impiety Seijuurou is displaying if it didn’t feel so damn good. He knows what it feels like to have those pink lips wrapped around his length. To have songs of praise bitten into his skin. Seijuurou has loved him softly, roughly, frantically, savoring- in every conceivable way he has been worshiped. -----

He takes hold of Kouki’s hand and draws patterns into his palm. The little soothing action helps ground Kouki when he feels particularly anxious, and a little part of him thinks it helps calm Seijuurou too. As well as being practical it is endlessly endearing to Kouki. When he focuses on the shapes traced he often pieces the phrase “I love you” written over and over. How many times has he borne that phrase into his skin? Has it seeped into the muscle and bone?

trust me, trust me, darling dear - (horror oneshot)

As a child he had a favorite blanket. Blue and the softest material you’d ever feel, made of wishes and dreams. He thinks it was a gift from a relative, maybe his grandmother? He’s not sure. It has been by his side since he can remember. In stormy shadow filled nights and the first thing he stuffed in his backpack for preschool. A comfort object, that’s what they called it.

And he remembers how much he wailed when his mother took the worn, ragged blanket from his thin child arms when it needed to be washed. How he clung to the long spider-like strings digging into his tender skin leaving angry red and white marks.

His mother would scold him as he sat in front of the washer, waiting. “You have to be more careful or soon there will be nothing left of it.”

Listening to the wet slosh of soapy water he never understood why loving something made it break, made it fall apart at the seams. After all, his mother’s love and gentle kiss could heal any pain. What made his so… rotten?

Standing now infront of his mirror, feeling the phantom shadow arms reach for him- around him- pulling him into the inky black mass reflected in the mirror- being grabbed by the force before him, pushed beneath their will and his grasp on reality slips away- Kouki finally understands what she meant.

I got terminal akafuri brainrot but we knew this :3

aww it was great getting to know you too! i'm so excited since this is my first time participating in something like this, so i'm sure i will love whatever you make <3

when i look for fanworks i look for my favorite characters. when i see edits of my fave characters and how pretty they look it makes me wanna edit them too. i also love bright colors and pastels so i look for those, and pretty fonts. idk what it is but i think fonts that are simple looking can make an edit very pretty!

as i said, i love bright colors, pastels and all. i get so mesmerized when i see bright colored and pastel edits. i would like to see my fave characters too, but whatever you make i will love. i'm very excited!!!

my top 6 fave ships are zosan, bkdk, renga, sasamiya and akafuri.

zoro and sanji have always been my number one ship, they were the first ship i fell in love with. their banter and their dyanamics make me smile and i love that they trust each other even if they don't admit it hehe.

bkdk is my favorite ship right now. idk with the way people have treated us in the past, i still get very nervous to spam how much i love this ship when im not on twitter with my bkdk mutuals. people who are anti bkdk will say how toxic and unhealthy it is and continue to undermine both characters relationship with each other (it honestly gets tiring hearing the same thing after 4 or 5 years) but i love this ship so much. izuku and katsuki's journey was very fascinating to watch. i love izuku standing up for himself and showing katsuki he's not messing around. i love izuku being aware that katsuki has always been big jerk but still sees him as an amazing person. i love how izuku still calls him kacchan and katsuki has never told him to stop calling him that. i love katsuki realizing his weaknesses and growing as a person and taking responsibility for his actions by trying to atone and apologizing, i love how they're both nerds.

im ranting lol, but bkdk is my comfort ship, it brings me much joy. if i could live in heroes rising movie i would!

renga was my obsession since last year. once i got obsessed with that ship, i was on the A03 tag more than i was on the bkdk tag lol. i just love how they both became friends. they're soulmates. literally the sun and moon. two strangers who were alone but found solace in each other.

sasamiya is just adorable. i haven't read any fics of it yet but the way sasaki accepted miyano's interest and wanted to share it with him was so cute. i love how sasaki never pushed miyano for an answer to his confession and just waited until he was ready. i love how miyano took the time to know sasaki and realize how he felt. i love how both miyano and sasaki love each other so much and how flustered they get around each other. my babies <333

akafuri was a ship i got into this year. i was rewatching knb again and their interactions were so funny. even though furihata and akashi literally have like three interactions but those were enough for me to love this ship. the A03 tag is pretty much not active but i did right a fic and i want to write more fics!

“Can you stay up all night? Fuck me ‘til day light. Thirty-four, thirty-five.” That was it. Akashi would be a total idiot to not know how to sum those numbers up. Akashi was done with the assignment and another look, he might actually vomit—what was he even thinking? He was done anyway.

Akashi closed his laptop, not even bothered to close the tabs and shutting it down properly. He finally faced Furihata, who had a naughty look. “You really have a way of asking things, don’t you?” Akashi asked with a finger lifting from beneath Furihata’s chin.

“What are we gonna do after this?” Furihata asked.

Akashi smirked. “Doing you right.”

Furihata would jump and fist the air—but that would be a total mood killer, so he only bit his lip and chuckled in his throat approvingly.

Sometimes I wanna write seriously...... but my brain always gets some crack in it. I'm a reaaaal mood killer ik.

The decision is made and suddenly not even the inside of his head or his heart is safe anymore.

I’m going to assume that HP is Harry Potter? To which I have to admit something that’s pretty embarrassing...

I’ve never seen and/or read Harry Potter.

Hopped onto tumblr and look what I found, a “share 7 ish sentences of a current wip and then tag 7 others” from @itscinnafox

So here goes, I think? (also it’s not exactly 7 sentences but I think extra two sentences won’t harm anyone right? RIGHT? 

The guy is clearly not from Nijimura’s usual cycle, but the way he carried himself around the house speaks volumes of their close friendship. That, and Nijimura always so seamlessly included him in their get-together effortlessly, as if he would do a younger brother if he ever had any. That piqued Akashi’s curiosity, because Nijimura is awesome, sure, and Akashi looks up to him big time. But Nijimura was too intimidating to casually make friends out of anyone. A problem that Akashi also experienced firsthand. This brown-haired guy must have some hidden depth within him to be able to befriend his middle school senpai so casually.

However, instead of asking Nijimura, Akashi opted to approach the guy instead, just when he started to get tired of Kagami’s “it’s not fair” shouts every time Akashi managed to ride the good waves.

“May I join you?” he asked politely. 

The guy (Furihata, if Akashi remembered correctly) smiled, “free country,” he said lightly. There’s an awkwardness in his smile and doubt in his eyes, but Akashi sat on the towel near the guy anyway, clinking open a bottle of Asahi beer in the cooler. 

Hehe it’s for my future AkaFuri fic. Also im tagging @humanitys-shortest-soldier cause hehe, i’m just trying to crack some of her awesome WIPs? :) if she doesn’t mind of course.

Well, I have some thoughts that need to be aired. Empire's Like My Daddy is Akashi's song. Hands down.

"People tell me I'm just like my daddy." You can not tell me that all of his business associates don't say this when they first meet. The high echelons of society at a gala.

The fact that he has a crueler side that is very influenced by his father and the idea of "winning at any cost" whether that be lying, cheating, threats, etc. I often think about how cold Akashi's home life is and stifling and that perfection is the only possible outcome. Everything else is failure.

"It's hard to love the devil, he's a hater." I can't help but imagine the animosity between them. For this insane pressure and the thought that Akashi is weak for losing for getting mental help. All this pressure for perfection. "Not allowed to shed a tear, Growing up with all your phobic fears." The pressure to be perfect, to succeed, to be the heir and produce a heir. Everything piling up.

"People tell me I'm just like my daddy, oh really, hell nah (no way)" He wants to be better, he wants to be warm and human. He wants to be real, not impossible perfection- the exact opposite of what his father wanted for him. Does he share some mental processes, yes, but his beliefs are vastly different and it has shaped him into a new person.

"You reek of royalty, a dangerous mix" The thought of being above, better, and having the necessary funds and skills to do anything you want. And this is where Akashi post season 3 comes in, he knows that there are people better than you. That he isn't absolute.

1) Chapter 8 of Exactly My Type (Akafuri)

 This one should be obvious. It’s the final chapter, more of an epilouge than anything, and will show a couple of flashes into the future of their relationship.

2) You see in black and white until you see your soulmate for the first time (Akafuri)

I plan on this one just being one long one-shot. I don’t why I suddenly caught the urge to write this but here we are -_-

3) A semi-NSFW prompt for Akashi or Furihata in a wet t-shirt (Akafuri)

Barely started, but it’s a document lol. I’m excited to finish it, and I  feel terrible because it’s a pretty old prompt (I’m so slow I’m sorry.)

4) A nameless fic that will be a weird take on a fake relationship/fake dating but also sort of not? (Shizaya)

It’s my first attempt writing for these two, and it’ll be a longer fic if I ever finish it. It’s around 2k right now buuuuuut I dunno if I’m happy with it so maybe it’ll never even see the light of day. Who knows.

5) Another nameless fic with no real plot other than it deals with trust issues (Shizaya)

A random idea I started tossing around in my head at work. Meant to be a one-shot but I dunno if there’s enough plot for me to really make it anything. Evolves the boys in the early stages of a relationship.

6) A random prompt I saw and found oddly fitting (Shizaya)

No one requested this one, I just saw it and liked it. Should be a pretty short one-shot. High school AU.

7) Prompt request inspired by my writing summary (Eruri)

I’m actually super excited about this one. It’s a request for Orphanage Director Levi and Rich Patron Erwin, which I think will work out pretty good for them. I’m super nervous though, since it’s my first time writing for them.

8) A super old prompt for Furihata in the Virgin Killer Sweater (Akafuri)

A suuuuuuper old prompt THAT I WILL FINISH I SWEAR. I even took a poll for the color of the sweater. Akashi needs his Kouki in that sweater and I WILL PROVIDE IT.

9) A fic for fake dating/dare dating/real dating (KiriBaku)

Me trying to branch out into other ships again. Super excited but super nervous. I’m honestly gonna have to rewatch the anime before I finalize anything. Also might never see the light of day because ANXIETY about new shit.

10) Chapter 5 of Defying Fate (AkaFuri)

This has been started for well over year now lol. Exactly My Type kinda pulled me away from this fic, but I can’t wait to get back into it after finishing the other one!

Last Movie: Movie huh?? I think it was Down, a Hulu Into the Dark movie, interesting movie but I feel like the unintentional message of “you can’t trust anybody because they can be lying and could hurt you” directly contradicts the message that humans should live by, “don’t judge, you don’t know the whole story, be kind” WHICH THEY TRY TO SHOW FIRST?? It’s interesting and I really liked when “the bad guy” is switched in this very vindictive way where the lead actress has hurt the lead actor more and is in the postion of power now and it’s an interesting shift that feels similar to power struggles and was telling of human assumptions- I really liked that aspect of it!
