Grateful, Thankful & Blessed 🤍

At times it can feel like life isn't perfect and neither am I. Even knowing and experiencing that, I am grateful. I am grateful when I did not get what I want because life was protecting me. I am grateful when life stepped in and gave me a life greater than I ever imagined for myself. I am grateful that everything that seemed to be going wrong was really steering me in the right direction. I am grateful for all the sadness, struggle and pain because life provided a contrast to truly appreciate all the beautiful moments, the highest of highs. I am grateful for the hardships I have faced because I have gained strength and wisdom that I never would have otherwise. I am grateful to still be here because traversing rocky roads have led me to conquer mountains I never thought I could. Ultimately I have come to understand through the imperfection, that really, life is perfect and who I am right now is exactly who I am meant to be.

Imperfection it beautiful … My heart and soul were deeply intertwined with Herkales and Sam…my bonded soulmates- Herkales whom left us on December 21, 2020 and 11 days later, Sam on January 1, 2021… Life was never perfect nor would I want it to be. Day 127 Art Meditation …1-22-2022

I created an Icon series for my brand and from my logo of circles and dots, and integrated them into my home page.

The main message of All-lines-are-beautiful is that life is rarely a perfect straight line, and that we have the power to decide what to do with our time, thoughts and energies. Create beauty, create our own Voice, through the inner work of our Hearts and Soul.

My Icons are slightly rebellious because the expectation is that icons - like humans - are supposed to be perfect. I wanted to create icons that look a little like they fell apart, but in spite of everything, they are beautiful. More importantly, they are interesting, and they have a Story. Just like us humans.

I wanted to include pieces from the tactile design and art world that inspire me … I’ll even include comfortably designed red chairs at Ikea! :) Primary colors in a garden store … and a Christo and Jeanne-claude ‘The Wall, 13,000 Oil Barrels’ exhibit that I was lucky enough to see in Oberhausen, Germany ….
