I absolutely love how dreamy this song sounds <3 it mostly radiates good vibes. If i had a love song sappy-ness scale, this song would be pretty high up there. It's one of those songs that make you feel like you're ascending into the heavens and make your heart flutter

To me it starts as kind of dark and then the chorus (which is Perfect btw) is suddenly dreamy. The guitar in the chorus/end, synths, and fade-out at the end make the song sound much more nostalgic and dreamy. The song just gets better and better as you keep on listening

Sariling Multo

We all know the band IV of Spades for their great music and epic styles. Their song Mundo is their most listened music of all time with 164 million views at Wish 107.5. Truly fascinating, right?

Their song Sariling Multo (Sa Panaginip) was released last April year of 2020 and this is my favorite music of theirs ever since. Though after they released that, they went on hiatus.

This song was about fighting one's own demons. Fighting their ghosts from the past that still haunts them. It is about letting go of old memories that hurt the person behind the music. For listeners who can relate, it is about controlling negative emotions before they try to control us. Clearly, the persona in this song is going through something.

The theme of the music video is giving us, the viewers, eerie vibes that are similar to some scary films. Honestly, I got goosebumps the first time I watched this music video. It felt like it is taking me somewhere place that even I don't know and I felt the energy that it gives off. But rather than being scared, I actually liked it because it only means they are really talented to take their listeners to their world.

In this verse, the song conveys that the person behind the music has his own ghost that haunts him and is always with him. I think that that person's wound from the past is still there and he is still bleeding or he is still kind of traumatized. The person behind the music clearly said that he/she wants peace of mind.

Sa awiting 'to, may magtataka Kung magbago man ako, wag sanang umalis

My interpretation in this part is the person behind the music is pleading for someone to stay even though they are not in their right self, even though they are different due to fighting with their own demons.

Panalangin ko, iwanan ninyo ako Dapat bang matakot sa sariling multo? Panalangin ko, iwanan ninyo ako Dapat bang matakot sa sariling multo?

In this chorus part, from the line "Dapat bang matakot sa sariling multo" I think he/she is trying to find solutions on how they fight their demons. They clearly want the dark part in themself to vanish, they want the ghosts to leave them.

In this part of the song, I think someone is with them while the person behind this song is fighting his ghosts. It said that that person is also suffering with the person behind this song by his/her persona. The person behind this song wants that person with them to stay because he can be drowned in his own depression if he doesn't have anyone to be with.

Tama bang itago 'to? Sana magising na 'ko Tama bang itago 'to? Sana magising na 'ko Tama bang itago 'to? Sana magising kayo Tama bang itago 'to? Sana mapansin n'yo ako

In the line "Tama bang itago 'to, Sana magising na 'ko". I think he is hiding what he/she is going through. From the line "Sana magising kayo" and "Sana mapansin n'yo ako" he wants someone to notice that he is suffering from the ghosts that haunt them. He wants help.

If you are in a normal state, this song will be your jam because of its heavily-charged beats and complex yet beautiful and meaningful lyrics. Believe me, it is worth your time.
