Please The Walking Dead+ writers…
Don’t whitewash it. The Saviors killed kids and even Negan was prepared to kill Carl.
Address it. I’m a fan of Negan and the writing for his redemption is among the best I’ve seen in a long time but it would make it even more powerful if we had some scene of Negan admitting it. They could write it as Negan admitting he was at his very worst when he was going to kill Carl etc.

As someone who hates Destiel and the shippers with a passion. It annoys me to admit it felt like Castiel and Dean got alot of moments in S15. Nearly up there with Sam and Dean moment. Also Sam and Castiel didn't even get a goodbye scene. Did they even have a big scene together?
While I do think the original intent of season 15 was to make it Dean and Cas focused because Jared was supposed to leave SPN after season 14, I also think you had a yellow-car confirmation bias.  Attention is naturally very selective.  You might not find a yellow car (because yellow cars are not common), but you might look out for cars in the hopes of spotting a yellow one.  That ~confession scene was given way too much credit and attention by superfans in an otherwise decent episode. But Cas's speech wasn’t for you and the superfans, it was for general audience and casual fans to remind them that Dean is still a hero because they only seen Sam acting heroically trying to protect people from the Snap.  Dean going after Billie looked more like revenge and it was at the cost of Cas’s life.  So this lesson to Dean is that it isn’t all about him.  That’s right, a speech that seems to be all about Dean is actually saying it’s not all about him.
Cas to Dean: Everything you have ever done, the good and the bad, you have done for love. You raised your little brother for love. You fought for this whole world for love. That is who you are”.
Audience:  Well, duh.  Also, thanks for the reminder but why?
*Dean dies two episodes later*
Audiene: Oh that’s why.
So from my perspective, season 15 did not have much Cas and Dean moments other than Cas having a hissy huff in purgatory and Dean's awkward anxiety attack three minutes later, and the meme-making scene that is now tumblr's breaking news template because how indifferent Dean was. I'm sure those two did have more scenes together than the ones I mentioned but they're unmemorable and so apparently unimportant to the plot.
In contrast I remember what Sam and Dean were doing in season 15: the free will vs determinism question and how to escape determinism. Sam represented the former and Dean represented the latter.  Dean believes in determinism so his idea of getting free will (killing Chuck by using Jack as a bomb) was wrong. During their push and pull, Dean has to seek and give forgiveness before he ascends to heaven because (in my interpretation of Christianity), one has to learn to forgive in order to enter heaven because the Savior has died for your sins and forgiven your sins.
Lucifer returns because the devils' purpose on the show is to show God how undeserving humans are by leading them astray. Sam is constantly proving the devil wrong about humanity and lead people in the right direction, in season 15 it's stopping and talking down Dean from his kill-Chuck plan and finding another way to save the world. Sam's fatherly relationship with Jack ascends him into a benevolent God of free will, and from there Sam (and Dean) could write their own stories and complete his Hero Journey arc.

HESPERIA/BETTERFLY kamikotized heroes Headcanons PART 3
Warning, this may make animal lovers uneasy for a bit.
This one is going to take place during the day, around Adrien and Marinette’s 2nd week of school, so they are still toying around with their Miraculous’ at night for their own personal gains, and have not yet suffered the consequences and been instructed to hunt down the Butterfly-man in order to save themselves.
Promise that the next one will show our fav villains in action, but for now I hope there are fans of Mr. Pigeon reading this because-
Xavier Ramier becomes……
Sauvaquateur!
(This is my attempt at combining the French words for “Savior” and “Aquatic”, into a new, superhero name. Fun fact: In 1979, the U.S. Coast Guard trained pigeons to locate people lost at sea and they had a 90% success rate!
Also remember S4, ep 4, “Mr. Pigeon 72”)
As mentioned in my post “Shadybug’s Paris Headcanons”, in this universe, pigeons are far less welcome in Paris than they are in the Good/Prime universe, so there is no need for a Pigeon-Tamer.
There IS a need for Environmental technicians though… a DIRE need.
(In this Universe, imagine the world under The Supreme’s control as slightly less extreme than North Korea under Kim Jong-un, and about as polluted as Gaya, India.)
Luckily, construction plans for “Project Oxygen”, endorsed by M. Bertrand King, have been submitted and are awaiting approval from The Supreme. In theory, once they’ve built enough towers, it should take care of the awful smog problem in Paris.
But that won’t help with toxicity in the soil and water.
Which is why M. Ramier is outside on a particularly gloomy day, in full yellow hazmat gear and neon orange rubber galoshes, attempting to collect water samples from the Saint-Martin canal.
Trash aside, people just didn’t realize how much of the poison they put out for rats (and those poor, adorable, misunderstood pigeons) ended up in the Seine, resulting in its present, disgustingly polluted state.
Xavier can’t help but daydream of simpler times he has never known, like the ones depicted in old photographs and paintings.
In his personal collection, he has a precious family keepsake, a postcard to his great-grandfather sent by his great-uncle in 1912;
It depicted such a happy scene of blue skies and even bluer water, and people gathered to merrily feed the pigeons with smiling faces near the Seine.
Tumblr media
Not for the first time, he can’t help but wonder if perhaps he was simply born in the wrong decade…
Instead, here he is, collecting vial after vial of what is closer to sludge than water at different points along the canal for chemical analysis and comparison.
It’s dull and dreary.
Or, at least it’s dreary…
The dullness comes to a rather abrupt end when a low bellowing sound draws his attention to a large, sludge covered something twitching near the bank beneath The Pont des Arts, (or as we know it, The Love Lock bridge, though in this universe there are no locks) a mere 4 meters away from him.
Mon Dieu!
He thought the rumors were merely that; rumors dreamt up to keep children away from the filthy water.
But blessed be; that really is a crocodile!
Where on earth did he come from??
(Somewhere in a shoddy apartment, Jagged, or rather, Jared, sneezes and feels a strange pang of guilt.)
The poor fellow doesn’t look too well; not that M. Ramier claimed to have any expertise in crocodilian health, but he was almost certain that the creature’s spine was not meant to be quite so prominent.
He also could not recall ever seeing a crocodile lay on its side like that, half floating in the water, half… Hold on, was it tethered to something????
Merciful heavens! Discarded plastic Enforcer barrier tape had found its way into the canal and gotten tangled up around this poor beast’s jowls and caught upon who knows what kind of garbage submerged near the bank.
Sloshing his way over, M. Ramier had only intended to get close enough to attempt to at least cut the plastic tape where it was tethered closest to the bank in hopes the lack of tension would loosen it enough that the crocodile could free himself.
But the croc sensed his approach and grew frightened, letting out a warning growl and weakly thrashing his too thin tail, before jerking wildly and tightening the noose in the process.
At this rate the beast would strangle himself!
This was terrible!
    Oh, that poor creature….
But, what could he do?  He was merely an Environmental Technician, trained to collect and study water samples.
He supposed he could try contacting the ‘Ménagerie du Jardin des Plantes’ (the zoo), but  by the time they decided to send someone over, if they decided to send anyone over, it might be too late!
If only he could help… He became an Environmental Technician due to his love of animals and a desire to make the world a better place for them, and now there was a creature in desperate need of aid right in front of him and he was completely powerless…
He does not see the glowing butterfly perch upon the sample vial in his gloved hand, nor does he notice it vanish.
He’s far too preoccupied with the sudden voice in his head:
The voice introduces himself as Betterfly, and claims that he too shares a love of animals.
The voice offers him the power he needs to save this suffering creature, and asks if he will accept this gift for the greater good.
M. Ramier accepts, though, he’s not really Xavier Ramier anymore…
The stained yellow of his suit melts away to a pristine white, and the neon orange of his rubber boots has given way to a striking cyan and become more fin-like in appearance.
His rubber gloves share the same shade of blue, as does the “star of life” symbol overlaying the outline of a rescue bird on his chest.
Somehow, his sample vial has inexplicably transformed into a rather impressive hand operated bilge pump.
He feels stronger, more confident, more daring.
                  He is now Sauvaquateur!
Holstering the pump at his waist, he dives into the water with the grace of a tropical clawed frog, Sauvaquateur swims with amphibious ease thanks to his new, webbed gloves, and is able to take a firm hold of the weakened crocodile and bring him the the bank of the canal.
(Another fun fact: The Seine is 9.5 metres or 31 ft. deep and you should absolutely NOT swim in it without superpowers.)
With his newfound strength, he makes quick work of tearing that horrid plastic off the poor creature, and feels satisfied that he has successfully rescued his new, scaly friend!
…..Except, the crocodiles eyes do not seem to be open.
He’s also rather still, perhaps too still-
                       He’s not breathing!
Panic takes hold as Sauvaquateur fears he was too late after all, but the voice returns to him;
Betterfly urges him to remain calm, hope is not lost yet, but he must come to his senses!
….That’s right, he mustn’t give up!
Sauvaquateur presses his head against the crocodile’s rough back near where he thinks a heart should be.
Perhaps it is due to Betterfly’s “gift”, but even through his suit’s protective helmet, Sauvaquateur swears he can hear a weak thumping sound.
There is a heartbeat but no breath; what should he do? How does one go about performing rescue breathing on a crocodile?! Would that even help????
Again, Betterfly’s soothing voice echoed in his mind, urging him to look closer…
Looking closely, the crocodile seemed to have an awfully bloated stomach yet such a thin looking back… Could it be-?
Eyeing the bilge pump holstered at his side, Sauvaquateur knew he had to try!
Using incredible strength he now unfathomably possessed, he did what should not have been humanly possible; he pried the crocodile’s mouth open and placed the hose of the pump inside.
It only takes 5 good thrusts of the plunger rod before a burst of toxic brown water and wads of plastic come spewing out of the pump’s outlet.
Sauvaquateur shudders at the thought of all that rubbish inside that poor animal.
It’s a feeling that Betterfly shares.
Its stomach noticeably deflated, and its scales a shade less pale than they were only a few moments prior, the crocodile takes a deep, relieving breath.
       Sauvaquateur does the same.
With the croc out of immediate danger, and now fast asleep, Betterfly praises Sauvaquateur for his valiant efforts, and suggests that now would be a good time to let someone more experienced take over.
Sauvaquateur agrees.
He can feel the “gift” leave him- like the sensation of color being gently stripped away.
He is left in his muddy, yellow suit, and his plain orange rubber boots. His water sample vial, now empty, rests at his feet.
M. Ramier is not sure what just happened exactly; it’s a bit fuzzy, like waking up from a peculiar dream.
He could’ve sworn he was talking to someone just now….
But the loud snoring from the large, slumbering reptile beside him reminds him that there are far more pressing matters at hand.
Moving to a more comfortable distance, Xavier unzips his outer suit in order to pull out his mobile phone and place a call.
He is placed on hold for frustrating amount of time before a M. Césaire answers and M. Ramier informs him of his predicament.
It’s not long after that when Enforcer sirens sound along the banks, forming a protective barrier and trying to hold back inquiring news photographers eager to get a shot of “Saint Martin’s Beast.”
M. Césaire is there as well, and he expertly secures the crocodile’s jaws shut before he and an assistant lift and haul the creature into the back of a van to transport to the zoo for examination.
M. Ramier is harshly admonished for getting so close to such a dangerous animal and is informed that it is a miracle he is unharmed.
A miracle?
Is there such a thing anymore?
….Perhaps.

I’m not totally ready to write Jensen off as an actor or a person, yet. But, his fans are so ridiculous it makes me like him less to spite them. I can’t help it. It’s like a instinctive response, like the Destiel or Cockles effect, for me. The fans are so idiotic that I can’t stand the mention of either stupid ship. Well, Jensen’s fans are so simpering it makes me care less when he does do something good.
But back to the point, the bar of amazement for them is set so low, literally, he can converse with more than one person at a time, at a con, which he’s being doing for more than ten years, regularly, and it’s a wonder to them.
He listens to others and prepares to respond???
WHAT!? HOW?!
Is he a witch??
OMG, He. Is. PERFECT!!
Like, please stop wetting your panties over the simplest things? I’m a teacher, so I do what Jensen did while thinking about a question. AND I listen for grammar errors at the same time. Where is MY award? 🙄
I find this all especially annoying because these same people who are fascinated and awed by Jensen's every sniffle, downplay Jared's actually impressive achievements. "He works near home, he stayed on the CW, he produced a show to give himself a job, he only made a spinoff because Jensen did…etc.". Jared could cure cancer and adopt a hundred orphans, and they’d ignore it or try to make it a negative. Then Jensen would put a bandaid on his own kid, and they’d be campaigning to get him a Nobel peace prize or whatever the medical equivalent is.
Make these dummies make sense.
You're not the only one his fans are alienating! There have been some annoyed fans of other projects (like The Boys, and Big Sky), who also find the AAs over-the-top, 'the-savior-has-arrived' praise incredibly off-putting, and frankly, insulting to all the other creators who were there before Jensen ever arrived.
"Jared could cure cancer and adopt a hundred orphans, and they’d ignore it or try to make it a negative. Then Jensen would put a bandaid on his own kid, and they’d be campaigning to get him a Nobel peace prize or whatever the medical equivalent is." So much this! I think they set the bar so low for Jensen so that he literally cannot disappoint them, but then set the bar so high for Jared that everything he does disappoints them (thereby reaffirming Jensen's supposed superiority).
And can I just say, in all seriousness, thank you for all of your hard work and willingness to be a teacher. It's an incredibly tough job, and often thankless, so, while this isn't tangible, please accept this digital award for all the work you do to guide the young minds in your care!
Tumblr media
(And please forgive any grammatical mistakes. LOL!)

Fun facts on the New Generation AU:
Dagur and Eret babysit the Hicstrid kids the most out of all of their other allies.
Gobber is the village therapist and is the one everyone can come to for advice on certain topics (coming out of the closet being the most common one)
Because Grimmel doesn’t exist in this AU, there are more Night/Light Furies in the world, most of them now living on Berk ever since Toothless became the alpha.
Fang, Ethan’s Whispering Death, HATES it whenever anyone who isn’t Ethan tries to ride her solo. She will throw the biggest tantrums ever and do anything to get them off. The only two exceptions are Tuffnut and Puffnut.
Salva loves to bite her brothers, she’s the most feral one of the Hicstrid kids.
Viggo has also befriended a Zippleback, which is how he’s able to get the gas for his sword. The Zippleback was already friends with Savior the Monstrous Nightmare, and their names are Crackle and Zap.
Ethan can’t swim.
Hiccup constantly teaches his kids how to build and invent stuff and is very proud of all their achievements.
Snotlout is very proud of his daughters and will constantly let them know because he never got that treatment from his father and wants to break the cycle of abuse.
Ruffnut will never have kids of her own in the future, but was more than willing to be the surrogate to Fluffnut and Puffnut so her brother and Snotlout could have their own family.
Fluffnut and Ethan have a one week age difference. Puffnut is nine months younger than the both of them.
Runa is non-binary
Fluffnut is trans MTF and has a very supportive family.
The “Troll” that would constantly steal Gobber’s socks was a titanwing terrible terror.
Viggo crafted an entire armor set made out of shed Skrill scales to protect himself whenever he flew on Shockwave, he has been zapped a couple times on accident, which makes his dragon panic.
Shockwave has severe separation anxiety.
Savior is clingy.
Fang is not the smartest Whispering Death out there.
Dante has started building newer and more advanced prosthetics for both himself and his family.
Puffnut has a Typhoomerang named Blaze, he’s an asshole.
Fluffnut has a Thunderdrum named Boomer, who is also quite stupid.
Hookfang spoils the Thorston-Jorgenson kids as much as he can in Monstrous Nightmare ways
Ethan loses a foot from a Changewing’s acid
Windshear has become very protective over Cory and Runa that she has occasionally attacked Fishlegs
Fishlegs is poly and Heather is okay with it as long as he tells her about every partner.
Asdis and Halvor are twins, with Asdis being the eldest and already destined to be the new DotW queen and Berserker Chieftess, yet Halvor desperately wants to be the berserker chief.
Speer is known as Speer the Psychotic because if he really hates you, he throws his shit at you…literally.
Salva will always name her dragons the most human names possible (Chloe the Deathsong, Pierce the Grim Gnasher, Jared the Scauldron)
Ethan trash talks whenever he plays Maces and Talons, which is probably why he rarely wins.
Ethan was conceived on Defenders of the Wing, and Speer was conceived on Berk.
Gustav and Gruffnut are both evil and work for Ryker (yes he’s still alive in this AU)
Ryker is ace
Asdis has a Triple Stryke named Blister
Speer had a Terrible Terror named Skrill
Halvor has no dragon of his own so far
Ethan will be 4’11 at the tallest, mention how short he is and he will start yelling.
Mala will listen to Dagur rant about his interests for hours on end, she loves listening to him rant.
Ethan and Puffnut got trapped and forced to participate in dragon fights, it’s where Ethan met the Changewing that took his foot.
Astrid beats the ever living hell out of the Hunter that had captured Ethan and put him in the dragon fights, making sure that his body became so mangled and bloodied that no one would be able to recognize it again.
Valka technically tamed the Screaming Death, and he and the other Whispering Deaths now live on Dark Deep after their island was attacked.
All of the Hicstrid kids use some of Valka’s tactic to help tame more wild dragons.
Ethan and Salva have tiny scars on their faces from Cloudjumper (they were all accidental). Ethan has a scar on his lip, Salva has a scar on her cheek.
Ethan has a scar on his neck from Fang, they were both young and stupid.
Dante took a Skrill from a Hunter when he was 5 and named it Zappy.
Dagur adopts a baby Skrill.
Dante has a scar on his cheek from Drago Bludvist (yeah, he’s alive too)

Antis are always trying to throw Jared's arrest at Jared's fans faces like it will make us go cry in the corner... bitches, first, we know hes not perfect, a saint or a savior and whatever happened has been dealt within the justice system and second, we dont care.
Best part of all is that Jared and Gen make fun and use it as roasting material, so if they think theyre gonna hurt anybody sharing his mugshot? Haha, clown, try again.

Something else—the very same Jared stan accounts who trashed other, far FAR more inclusive tv series and refused to touch them and shaded them ostentatiously virtue signaling and flag waving in a self-aggrandizing way about how uwu progressive and so inclusive the weakly inclusive, heavily tokenized W*lker is all because they stan Jared, sure does take some gall.
I showed up for Kung Fu, Nancy Drew, All American, All American: Homecoming, The Winchesters, Gotham Knights, and Windy. While Jared stans made it obvious that if a show didn’t have Jared’s W*lker brand stamped on it, it was beneath them.
I will not be taking any sh*t at any point from W*lker stans who claim that Jared is the savior of diversity and inclusion. Go to hell.
Also, because the trolls and antis of spn standom lack reading comprehension on purpose but giving it a go anyway to make this 100% clear: I never liked the CW Network in any era.
You can go back through my blog and see how many times I said it’s not the corporation people stan, it’s the shows. It’s not the platform, it’s the shows. Or how many times I’ve talked about the problem inherent in evangelizing the Pedowitz era.
CW Nexstar era I will admit when it tipped its hand turned out to be something even farther away than what I ever wanted than the Pedowitz era, which I also didn’t like and I was vocal about that.
It truly takes a special kind of stupid centrist-conservative fake woke performative manipulative bs to say that fans critical of the Pedowitz era of the CW Network are FAKE PROGRESSIVE.
omfg.
OMFG I CAN’T EVEN WITH HOW BAD THAT TAKE IS.

As someone who’s watched a bunch of Encanto interviews with the directors and writers, one of the MAIN themes behind this film is of course not just generational trauma, but perspective, most importantly, how we view our families, and how our families view us. The intention was to really dive into what a person’s outlook is on their family, mainly…..how well do we know them? And whenever that question pops up, it makes me realize the amazing main lesson Mirabel had to go through, besides accepting herself.
Tumblr media
In the beginning of the film, Mirabel views her family as perfect, a magical and fantastical family that is amazing in every way, and can do no wrong. She wants to meet their standards, to make them proud and shine like them, so once she sees that the magic is in danger, she does everything in her power to figure out what’s going on. However, you need to keep in mind of how SHE views her family. Whenever Mirabel spoke of them in the beginning, she always praised them, and it’s not a surprise. She’s grown up all her life watching them be perfect, helping the community and be the best they can be, so it makes sense that she would view her family as flawless. However, as the film continued, Mirabel slowly starts to realize that they aren’t what she thought. When she talks to each family member, she realizes they’re not these flawless, perfect amazing people, they’re HUMAN beings, and there’s more to one side than what she viewed. That’s the main thing the filmmakers wanted to portray, how we only necessarily see one side of our family members, the people we grew up with, the people we love. When Mirabel figures out that her own family was struggling and had their own problems they had to deal with, wether it be the pressure of their gifts, or normal family struggles, she learns one of the MOST important lessons this film wanted to tell you, what the filmmakers wanted to portray. Family….is MESSY and complicated. It’s not perfect, there are going to be MANY ups and downs, and the people in your family are all human beings, human beings who have their own struggles and problems in life, just like you and me, yes….even a magical family with powers.
In many interviews, Jared Bush has expressed that a lot of films surrounding the concept of family mainly all teach you the same lesson, that family is important, it’s strong and good. While that’s true, they wanted to make a film that shows you the real struggles that comes with being a family, how it’s not perfect 100%, in fact it’s anything but. There are going to be happy days, love and acceptance, but other times there will be fights, tears, pain, struggling. No family is perfect, that’s something society needs to learn, and I think Encanto portrayed that successfully. One of the things that I LOVE that the film does is that you have a village, a village who is told and shown all their lives how amazing and perfect this magical family is, how helpful they are and how they’re saviors to them all. Mirabel, was EXACTLY the same. Another interview bit that is really important is how Jared expressed that “The Family Madrigal” opening song showcases that Mirabel herself only sees her family as this one side to them, the perfect, amazing side that she’s known for years. She saw her family as a bunch of wonderful effortless people who could do it all, and it introduces the audience to that ONE side of the characters. The thing is……as soon as you walk into Casita, as soon as the audience really gets to know these people and see the other side to them as WELL as the main character, you learn that this magical family is just like any other normal family, they’re not perfect, and they all have struggles, just like any other family. For the main character to go through something like that as WELL as the audience, to learn that these characters are layered and are more than meets the eye, is something truly special. It just goes to show that once again, Mirabel loves her family and is an amazing person, but she herself is flawed, she’s a human being like the rest of us, and needs to learn lessons and grow as a character, and if you’ve seen my other posts, you’ll know that even a likable character making mistakes and having to learn things is the perfect way to show the audience that the world isn’t black and white, it shows them that everyone is layered, everyone is flawed and isn’t perfect, and that’s a good thing. Whats best about Mirabel is that when asked about what her gift was, Charise Castro Smith (the co director of the film) had said that the point was that she was able to SEE her family for who they were, discover that other side of them deep down. It corresponds with her glasses, as we know “Mira” in Spanish means “to look”, and she was able to SEE her family, see that they weren’t perfect, see their struggles, that they were human. It’s one of the many reasons why I appreciate the writing, appreciate Mirabel as a character and the important journey she had to go through. It’s one of the reasons why she said “The stars don’t shine they burn”- in the end of the film, paralleling how she desperately wanted to shine like her glorious family before, only to realize in the end that they’re all not perfect, and that’s a good thing.
One of the other things I love is that people need to keep in mind that it wasn’t just MIRABEL who viewed her family as one thing, but her family viewed herself as that as well, and more importantly, they all viewed EACH OTHER as this one side. Almost NONE of the family members knew that the other was suffering, and you can’t blame them. It sets up the amazing idea that these characters don’t really know one another because they had to practically mask themselves for years, live up to Alma’s expectations and be perfect for the village, so I love how this film represents a family that all see one another as what they’ve presented themself as, and have to learn that they’re all not perfect, and they’re all going through something and none of them are one sided. It only makes the ending to the film stronger, where they rebuild casita without their powers and grow closer to one another than ever before, even if it was off screen. I just love the lessons this film has, there’s so many yet every single one of them is important. I like how it wasn’t just Mirabel corresponding with the family on these lessons, because it was ALL of them. They all needed to learn that the people around them, as well as themselves aren’t perfect. They’re going to make mistakes, they’re going to have hardships, and even if they didn’t know it before, they now know that they can embrace their imperfections, embrace who they are instead of hiding themselves, and now they all have regained sight of what’s most important to them, their love for one another, their bond, instead of focusing on themselves and what they have to be. They can be themselves, they can be a REGULAR family, instead of a flawless one. And most importantly, now their eyes are all opened up. They don’t just see each other as amazing people, but as human beings. 🕯🦋🦋💕

I grew up in Orthodox home, a mostly Orthodox community, and went to an Orthodox school for elementary and high school.
I'm not Orthodox now, but my family still is.
The language, the perception, the rhetoric around religious and/or observant has always bothered me and it has reached its peak now I think with how goyim talk about about religious vs not religious Jews. Specifically right-wing goyim who I'm comfortable with saying are antisemites, but they will say "I'm not talking about all Jews, I'm talking about X Jews". A very good example of this divide is some guy on Tim Pool talking about Kanye being "the Savior of Jews and bringing Jews to god" link is to Sam Seder breaking it down because I'd rather give him the views, fuck tim pool, and Sam explains the problems in the viewpoint.
My main issue though is why is it that only the branch of Orthodox gets to claim to being religious. Why that branch and its offshoots and more stringent branches?
Why do other branches not get the same consideration and respect. They still follow the Torah, Halacha, and apply the core tenants of Judaism. That still makes them observant and religious.
Jewish people who follow Halacha are religious period. It can be degrees of much is observed or what is observed sure, but at the end of the day that is a religious Jew who is entitled to that respect.
There is an idea that a person who does something with all their all heart and love for Hashem even it is one thing it is of greater value then someone who follows all the rules, but out of rote.
There is also the idea that when follows Halacha they are meant to understand why they are doing it, what they are doing, and in a sense choose to do it.
There is also the idea of the importance of how we treat each other and value of Halachot that are in regard Human to Human vs Human to Hashem. We know how Hashem values these things because we have the generation of the flood and the generation of the tower as examples. There is a reason that Judaism not just in religion, but in everything is so community based, so communal and so much in not just self-responsibility, but responsibility to the community, to the whole.
How do we care for others, have we made it harder for others, have smoothed the way for others, etc. Look at Yom Kippur at what much of what Viduy is about, just how much of it is dedicated to harm to others.
Within the Tanach a large discussion about how someone can be well studied in Torah, but when it comes to realm of Human to Human fail utterly then that person can not be considered to have truly understood the Torah or dedicated to it. There is a reason Hillel summed up the Torah the way he did.
There are many communities some what famous or infamous communities that are considered super religious yet they will throw rocks at people driving on shabbos or in another men and women even if married can not go grocery shopping together. And a whole host of variety of other issues.
You want me to consider that religious and observant. That must a joke, those places wouldn't know Halacha if the Torah started to speak.
But we should not consider other branches of Judaism religious and/or observant because they follow certain Halacha and not others.
Not every Branch is every Jew and maybe no Branch is. I think the only person who gets to decide if someone is not religious is the person themself, (generally speaking there are some expectations to the rule like Ben Shapiro and Jared Kushner who just use it as cover and lie. Also everything Ben says and believes has no founding in Judaism and sounds one for one like xtianity)
There a Jews who can decide that want do certain stuff not for religious purpose, but for the culture meaning and that is their right and they will clarify so to those they want to.
But if someone goes to synagogue every Shabbos why are they suddenly not religious because they get there by car but someone who walks yet only goes three times a year is still seen as religous?
That whole viewpoint is ridiculous, does nothing but divides and opens us up to be used by those who wish us harm.
Religious/observant Jews are religious/observant no matter the branch they are a part or not a part, no matter how much Halacha they do or do not observe.

I’m a dumb yankee whose gotten bored with life. Any chance I can submit for a godly southern master like Jared Padalecki? Becoming his boxers or socks and being forced to absorb every scent, ounce of sweat, or even piss he decides to grace me with? I would do anything to submit to him
The wind whistled across the Texas plains, kicking up dust as you walked along the road, using your arms to try to shelter yourself from the storm. This had been the bad day to end all days. You had been fired while you weren’t even at the office (you had messed up an important meeting in Texas, in spectacular fashion, involving a cup of scalding hot coffee splashing across the conference organizers face and sending him to the hospital for burns, among other things), your boyfriend had dumped you over the phone, your car keys were apparently refusing the unlock the car door, and now you discovered your hotel room key was sitting in the car (and there was a parking ticket tucked under the windshield wiper).
Unwilling to risk making anything worse by breaking into the rental car (which would cost you money you no longer had), you decided to trudge back to your hotel. Who knows, maybe you’d get hit by a car and this miserable day would finally come to an end?
Headlights penetrated the darkness and dust and a long car pulled up. A handsome stranger rolled down a window.
“Y’all need a lift?”
Despite your morbid thoughts, you had to admit that getting out of this dust storm would be great. You nodded and hopped in. Within a few seconds, you recognized who your mysterious savior was; the towering 6’4 stud was Jared Padalecki, the hunky TV star from Supernatural. This was surprising! You could scarcely find the words to explain your predicament, your tongue was so tied up in the presence of the stud. When you had finished explaining, Jared chuckled.
“Well shit, that’s a bad day alright! C’mon, I’ll give ya a bed for the night.”
You sat in grateful and awed silence for the rest of the ride, noting that Jared was covered in sweat, his musk enveloping the interior of the car. You breathed in as deeply as you dared try without being too obvious.
Arriving at Jared’s mansion, your mind boggling at the wealth of the Southern stud, the two of you entered. Without warning, he pulled off his shirt and tossed it aside, striding across the room to grab a beer.
“Hope you don’t me gettin comfortable. You can crash on that couch there.”
You stared in awe, at his magnificent chest, the musk wafting off of him like smoke from a fire. It was strangely intoxicating, more potent than anything you’d ever smelled before.
“Heh, ya like my tattoo?”
You blushed as you realized he had caught you staring.
“Uh, um, ah, yes, yes sir…”
Jared smiled and approached you, setting his beer down.
“It’s alright lil Yankee. You can be honest with me. I know ya like me. You don’t know what to do with yourself, being around a real man like me, do ya? Like my sweaty musk? How’s about you go straight to the source?”
You meekly nodded, and watched in mute awe as Jared pulled off his pants and boxers and revealed an immense cock, bigger than even you had ever envisioned. He approached you, and with a single casual push, shoved you down to your knees before him. You were about to try to suck him off when he grabbed your head from behind and shoved it into his sweaty, musky bush.
Immediately your nose was overloaded with his godly musk. It was intoxicating, more than any alcohol ever could be, and you were surrounded by it in this sweaty mass of pubic hair. Within seconds, things started to change. At first your face felt kinda weird, as though it was stretching. Then, your arms and legs both went limp and numb, uselessly hanging there. They began to slowly but surely slim down, retracting in on themselves. By now you were almost literally drunk on Jared’s godly musk, feeling pleasantly numb across your whole body, so you barely felt as you body continued to slowly dwindle, and then stretch.
Your body kept stretching and stretching wrapping around Jared’s immense cock, huge sweaty balls, and beefy ass, soaking up more and more sweat. The heat radiating from Jared’s body was like that of the warm Southern Sun, shining into you, the heat and musk rendering you weak and obedient. You were so drunk on his godly sweat and musk, you almost didn’t notice when you lost the ability to move. You started to panic then, but shortly thereafter you lost the ability to speak, and see. You were lost in a foggy musky haze of musk and heat, and you could barely hear Jared’s voice booming like thunder from far above as he reached for his shirt.
Tumblr media
“Heh, knew you’d like that! Your gonna be a damn good pair of underwear, lil Yankee…”
-
It took less then 24 hours for you to be completely broken. Jared’s intense godly musk, heat, and your previously existing lust for him combined, and within 13 hours, you had been broken down into a nearly mindless slave. Even while he was sleeping, you had been fanatically soaking up all the musk and stink you possibly could, breathing in and absorbing every beer fart, and descending further into obsession and servitude. A few days later, at a scheduled event, Jared very briefly showed you off to the crowd, who cheered. You didn’t care, you hardly even noticed. You had your new god and master to serve, obediently soaking up any musk or sweat or farts, and that’s all you needed in life.
