it's not so much a secret she keeps but she does know that the world is so much larger than people know. emma tig knows it. dorian williams knows it. doctor saltzman knows it too.

floribeth pieced it all together with wade by her side. she'll divulge the information, but you have to ask for it. and you have to know what you're asking for.

once you know this, you can't unknow this. you'll carry the knowledge forever that there is more out there than mystic falls and new orleans and the salvatore school and malivore.

malivore is a part of the dark dimension, which in itself houses a bunch of supernatural creatures. most - if not all - of those creatures have some link or connection to the night world, an underground society consisting of night people: vampires, werewolves, witches and shapeshifters.

the night world has it's own laws and is governed by a joint council: the inner circle governs the witches and the elders govern the vampires.

(it even had it's own wars.)

it is decreed by the joint council, for instance, that blood-feasts are illegal and forbidden. none of this stops the night people from hosting such events or attending them. blood-feasts are held in black iris clubs - nightclubs and bars for any and all supernaturals - all across america. prominent black iris clubs are the ones in pennsylvania and san francisco. humans aren't allowed (except if they are the ones that will be taken to bed or exsanguinated) and one must be over eighteen - or at least look to be over eighteen - to enter.

there are several other groups active in the night world right now: - the lancers; elite vampire hunters that are stationed on the east coast. their hq is found in boston, massachusetts and they work together with triad industries. - jez redfern's gang; a gang of teenage vampires consisting of morgead blackthorn, thistle galena, raven mandril and valerian stillman. they are all stationed in san francisco. morgead blackthorn might have founded the gang but jez is leading it now. - circle midnight; one of the two official nationwide witch circles which is open to all witches. those who hold with circle midnight lean towards malevolent magic and are not the biggest fans of humans. - circle twilight; one of the two official nationwide witch circles which is open to all witches. those who hold with circle twilight lean towards benevolent magic, hold respect for life but merely tolerate humans. they will attack if provoked. - circle daybreak; a special kind of witch circle, in the sense that it welcomes everyone with open arms from fellow witches to vampires to werewolves to shapeshifters to humans. their goal is to make sure the night world and the human world live in harmony. or as close to it as they can manage. members of this circle are known as 'daybreakers' and floribeth is currently working on officially joining this circle (as she's already been working with them for quite some time now). - keller's team; an elite fighting team consisting of raksha keller, a shapeshifter; winfrith arlin, a witch and nyssa johnson, a vampire. they are considered to be circle daybreak's top operatives and are often out in the field.

due to being related to the harman family through her mother, floribeth has always been drawn to harmony, a town in virginia, coincidentally near mystic falls and grove hill which is filled to the brim with supernatural creatures and it is there that floribeth settles down eventually.

Suicide Squad: Official slip, yet another, of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League of Rocksteady. It is still a mystery about the real causes behind the decision. Rocksteady has formalized the news that has been in the air for a few weeks, namely the official postponement of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The game was initially scheduled for May on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, but it won't arrive in stores until 2024. On the real reasons that led to another postponement, however, observers seem divided or cold about the number of changes allowed by the additional development time. WHEN IS SUICIDE SQUAD: KILL THE JUSTICE LEAGUE COMING OUT? — "We have made the difficult but necessary decision to take the time to work towards making the game the best quality experience possible for players," reads Rocksteady's message, thus reacting to the disappointment of fans after the gameplay debut two months ago. "Thank you to our incredible community for your ongoing support, patience, and acquaintance. There is much more to share in the months ahead, and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year." Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will now be available on February 2, 2024. THE REASONS FOR THE POSTPONEMENT The players hope that the postponement will bring the title back on the tracks of the single-player adventure for which Rocksteady is famous. Still, more than the additional nine months would be needed to change course from the service game direction taken so far. According to Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, the first to launch the rumor of a new postponement, these months would not be "enough to completely change the nature of a game." Moreover, the team "had been told that the postponement would be for a polish and would not be linked to the February gameplay showcase," which disappointed fans. It's normal for a Polish to take that much, says Schreier, "less normal for nine years to go from one game to another" than Rocksteady. According to Jez Corden of Windows Central, however, "part of the postponement [... would be] to remove/rework the 'always online' component" of the game, and this, if nothing else, would at least partially meet the requests of fans.

Today we looked at Sound art in terms of field recording, practices and acoustic ecology and soundscapes. Francisco Lopez. As described in his bio on his website:

“Francisco López is internationally recognized as one of the major figures of the sound art and experimental music scene. For almost forty years he has developed an astonishing sonic universe, absolutely personal and iconoclastic, based on a profound listening of the world. Destroying boundaries between industrial sounds and wilderness sound environments, shifting with passion from the limits of perception to the most dreadful abyss of sonic power, proposing a blind, profound and transcendental listening, freed from the imperatives of knowledge and open to sensory and spiritual expansion”.

We were signposted to a book to learn context, sound artist experiences and routes within soundscape studies and acoustic ecology and field recording look at book below the authors describe sound art as:

“A diverse range of practices which explore and investigate aspects of the lived environment from microscopic to the panoramic, through the medium of recorded sound.

Kate Carr's performance featured field recordings, objects, and instruments. Kate Carr has been investigating the intersections between sound, place, and emotionality both as an artist and a curator since 2010. "Somashikiba is the name of a graveyard for dead cows and horses that had worked on local farms, originally being built in some villages in the Edo period about 400 years ago. The Somashikiba in Sugaruya Village was located in the border with Koenbo Village.* There are five small (about 50cm tall) stone pagodas standing as its only remnant on the side of a farm road, surrounded with trees. On the surface of one of these stone pagodas, the year 1798 and the era name (Kansei, 10th year 寛政十年) were carved, along with a relief of a figure of a horse that is running on the terrace with Buddhist sculptures. Another one has the name of a headman of Sugaruya Village in the late Edo period, Suzuki San'emon, and the year 1876 and the era name (Meiji, 9th year 明治九年) were carved on it. San'emon's name is also carved on the other stone pagoda from 1885, which has a eulogy dedicated to the souls of their farm animals. All the other stone pagodas were badly weathered, so we cannot read the letters carved on the surface any more. According to the residents' survey of Sugaruya Village back in 1840, the village had about 68 houses, 20 horses and 14 cows. Also, the survey shows that the headman of the village Suzuki San'emon had one of each horse and cow. The lore of Somashikiba in Sugaruya village is still alive, and perhaps this might be the only place that still has kept its historic flavor in the Miura Peninsula in the present. Unfortunately, only a few people remember that this place used to be a graveyard for dead cows and horses that worked in local farms. Even local residents barely know about it. The oldest record on the name of Sugaruya goes back to the Muromachi shogunate era in 1448. It was also called Sugariya in the old days. 'Sugari' used to mean 'bees', and there is a belief that the name of Sugariya came from the episode that the village had a lot of bees in those days. Also, there are a few other beliefs that 'Sugaru' was an old name of Ammophila (hunting wasp), and that it was another name of a deer. Okay, one last thing about the Chris situation.

He's officially no longer in the band. It's sad. I know. I'm upset about it, too, I was looking forward to seeing him.

But things happen. There have been changes in Ghouls before. You need to remember that as much as we love them and as much as they seem to love their job, they are hired by Tobias. They're not actual band members. They are paid to be be there, Tobias is the only actual band member.

Chris being gone does not mean Aether is gone. He's still in our hearts, like all the other Ghouls who are no longer a part of Ghost. We still have fanfics, bots, fanart, clips... We have a lot of things. So please, for the love of Satan, let him be.

If you like Chris so much, support his own work and respect his wishes to respect the new Ghouls. We may have not heard the full story about everything yet, and we may never hear it unless Chris or Tobias decide to tell us. All we know is that he was fired.

I know we all wanted him back. I wanted him back to. But he won't be back. And we have to just accept this. So please be respectful. Stop bombarding him with questions and be nice to the new guys like he wanted.

You can still love Aether. Nobody takes that away from you.
