The fifth time I review Friends (if not more)💁

Coincidentally, one of the main characters, the eternal joker Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), has passed away

And now, on the last episode of the season, the feeling came over again that a small part of the story ends, which resonates in the hearts of many who are also familiar with this six friends)

May I request some headcanons of what being an actress and dating Joey Tribbiani (Friends) would include, please? Thank you so much!!

You meet when you’re both cast in the same play

He’s somewhat of a big name already, at least among some New York actors, because he’s on a soap opera which is usually some actors big break

The two of you don’t really have many scenes together in total but enough that it requires the two of you to run lines together often

Which gives Joey enough of an excuse to flirt with you, and gives you enough chances to turn him down

There’s no denying he’s cute and that you absolutely would go out with him, but this is a job and you don’t want feelings to get mixed up with work

But honestly Joey gets it, he gets not wanting to screw up a part that could be your big break so he lays off the flirting for a while

Still runs lines with you whenever he gets the chance without an ulterior motive now, and slowly conversations stop being about the play and end up more about his life or your life

Friendship comes easily for the two of you and you’re encouraging of each other, congratulating each other after every performance and good review

The play was only running for a limited number of performances, six weeks in total and when it’d done, after the cast party finishes, Joey asks you out again

He finishes his question by saying that he waited until the play was done so that since you two aren’t working together it’s not dating a current cast member

You grin the entire time waiting for him to finish but you made up your mind to say yes the moment he began his question

Everyone knows about you already because Joey’s been talking about you non-stop

When you meet them after a few dates, they all feel like they know you which is great since it was a little overwhelming meeting them all at once

Phoebe takes a liking to you right away after you start asking about her songs

And Chandler is surprised when you comment sarcastically to something that he says

Dates for you and Joey range from dinner’s at restaurants around the city, hockey games, hanging out at Central Perk, or on some occasions, just stopping by on sets during lunch

Because you’re both actors you often work on audition pieces together as it’s relatively safe to assume that you’ll both have an idea of what a casting director wants

Supporting one another when either of you gets cast in something no matter how big or small the part

There’s been more than one time that Joey’s asked to go on dates in character while he’s trying to figure one out for something

It’s a little odd but the two of you have learned to make a game of it

Sometimes you go out on double dates with other members of the gang

Stealing Joey’s clothing sometimes and then finding out later on it’s a piece of costuming he took from a part

When the two of you end up living together there’s a lot of decorating with props from things you’ve been in

Do not doubt that on your anniversary he will flirt with you, or write in an anniversary card, lines from the play that you were doing when you met

Joey’s always had his speeches for awards planned out because he knows he wants a list of who to thank. The night he asked you out and you said yes, he revised all of them to include you in them

Taeil: I just see him walking past them a bunch a of times looking as cool as he possibly can, leaning against the wall but really what works is that he's just adorable.

Johnny: This man knows all he has to do is say hey and it's over he's in and that's it. And that's all he does. But that also means he accidently owes like 30 people a relationship cause he can't contain his power.

Taeyong: He'd lay in a satin bed in just his underwear with a rose in his mouth and he'd growl.

Yuta: Like Johnny he know his true power and uses it but all he needs to do is put his hand under their chin and lowly say " lets go somewhere. "

Doyoung: He'd court with roses but not really give a confession, it'd be almost formulaic because he'd be afraid to express any true emotions in fear he'd be turned down. But if he keeps it methodical and detached he doesn't run that risk.

Kun: Honestly incredibly romantic and prince like, roses, extravagant gifts, and invitations to upper class balls. You'd question if he's even real.

Ten: Just send a "Wanna fuck?" text, he's Ten, he doesn't need to woo anyone, he needs to be wooed.

Jaehyun: He attempts to be really cool and seduce them with his nonchalant heir. But ends up panicked and hands them a "Do you like me yes or no" note.

Winwin: I don't see him trying to seduce anyone, its very whatever happens happens. He's just there.

Jungwoo: Full on flirty, smiling, getting them to dance really close and sexually, once given the green light super touchy.

Mark: Leans over the table, his hands slip, he hits his face on the table and they agree to go out with Mark when they clean his bloody nose. Really smooth.

Xiaojun: He just gotta lift those eyebrows and smile, that's all he has to do that's it.

Hendery: Uses lines like "how you doin?" said exactly like Joey Tribianni and "you come here often" like he saw it work in a movie and from then on thought it would work in real life.

Renjun: He does does small acts of kindness like bringing them their fave drink or food, picking up a keychain he saw at the airport that reminded him of them. "accidentally", making extra food and offering it to them and leaving small notes and little flowers for them.

Jeno: He'd be so shy that he's just sending out mental transmissions and hoping they catch on.

Haechan: Like Taeyong, but in silk pajamas laying seductively on the bed with a rose in his mouth saying "I know you want me"

Jaemin: He would literally fly the object of his affection to paris and plan a romantic three country week long trip and wine and dine them while being the sweetest jelly bean ever. Skipped courting straight to the honeymoon.

Shotaro: He'd just walk up to them holding a single flower and tells them he likes them and hope they like him too.

Sungchan: I feel like he'd try to flirt but cutely fail and that's what ends up working.

Chenle: The most casual chill thing ever honestly just watching basketball and playing video games and says, hey wanna go out or whatever.

Jisung: Honestly would just tell Chenle or Jaemin to talk to his crush for him while hiding behind a tree.

There were only a few moments during the years of friendship with Joey that the two of you had ever argued. There were only a few moments during your relationship with Joey that you had argued without resolution. You always strove for compromise when there seemed to be no truly correct opinion. Yet sometimes, Joey was just blatantly wrong, your current argument was one of those times.

“You can’t possibly think that, it’s obviously wrong!”

Joey shook his head, “Is not! The Shining is the scariest book of all time”

“Look, I love you, but you’re an idiot because there is no way that’s true. It isn’t even the scariest Stephen King book.”

“Yes it is! Rachel even agrees with me!”

“Ok first off, I know you haven’t even asked her that and secondly her opinion doesn’t count because she’s only read the one book. If she’d read more of his books then maybe I’d take that into consideration”
