my kaine playlist is 2 and a half hours long...
okay well actually it's more like—
there's my primary Kaine playlist which is 2 and a half hours long and kind of doubles as a partial Janine playlist (still mostly Kaine but there's bound to be some overlap, all things considered):
and maybe it has some questionable song choices
—
There's my Spider-Man (well, really it's just Peter) playlist which is also 2 and a half hours long and has perhaps what some might call "too much" Blink-182 and pop punk on it:
—
There's a mixtape from Annabelle to Kaine which probably isn't done yet but is 40 minutes long:
—
There's a response from Kaine that he makes after leaving which is 44 minutes long and also probably technically not done yet:
—
There's also a playlist for the "worst year of peter's life" fic-in-progress which is 55 minutes long, probably complete, and which is sort of about Kaine but is also about Peter and in general about the entire situation that they've all been subjected to (including like, Flash's interactions with not-Peter (Ben)) and also a little bit about the past:
—
I don't have a playlist for Ben lol

only bad thing about being in a fandom where one of the characters canonically has wings is the painful lack of classic wingfic. where is my everything's the same but people have bird wings watford au where one day baz notices simon hasn't been grooming his wings bc of an injury to his ribs so he sits on his bed and makes a whole fuss about how "i'm not doing this to be nice, snow, your wings are just a travesty to look at" and then proceeds to carefully and lovingly tidy his feathers in drawn out silence while they both pretend grooming someone else's wings isn't one of the most intimate things you can do for another person. will this heartbreak never end

Every single video I see abt “fixing” the companions specs makes me roll my eyes a bit. Trickster cleric isn’t meant to be a frontline class, it’s a super versatile support class. Rogues have fantastic damage output if you only make sure you know how to maneuver your characters for advantage. I think multiclassing and changing classes and stuff can be super fun and always go for what is gonna make a more fun game for you, but it’s not “fixing” it if you just don’t understand how a class is supposed to be used

i always think that debbie gallagher is some niche secret character that only i and my tumblr mutuals know about, but then i realize how popular shameless is and that she is a main character, so the reality of it is that the only reason other people aren’t talking about her as passionately is because most people hate her

When you're a famous psychologist, widely regarded as the authority on all things Love and you've just gotten mixed up in some wack-ass corporate espionage between tech corporations, one of which runs your post-apocalyptic totalitarian oligarchy where the last .2% of humanity is trying to survive, surrounded by illusions meant to distract them from the impending chaos and doom just outside the literal bubble you live in, and you have an inkling that there's also something terribly, terribly wrong INSIDE the bubble, too, with the very technology created to protect you, but you're also trying very, very hard not to think about it bc that would challenge everything you understand about the world you live in, and you really don't have time for that shit either because you have to deal with an asshole (who, I am convinced, is viciously supressing his homosexuality) playing yank-and-jank with your emotions, AND his fucking bizarre hologram dude/Galatea-proxy who seems WAY too self-aware while you're busy drowning your sorrows in fantasies about a fictional, ideal lover based on the writings of an old Harlequinn romance novel that somehow survived the fucking apocalypse (and that nobody can know about because it would ruin your reputation as an authority on love) because you still haven't really processed the end of your relationship of 2 years with a guy who clearly was a weak little fuck who wasn't worth the time he wasted, and if you could just finally come to the conclusion that there is much, much better dick in the world than fucking Nathan, you would be fine. but you haven't, so you aren't:

Okayuoiwejf QUESTION uhm Hi Kie I love your Plush Star Fever stuff :D!! Uhm, can the plushies consume food (even if they maybe canonically probably don't need to). If so, can they taste it or do they not (due to not having like human taste buds or smth)??
HIII THANK UU !!! :33
they can consume food, but it doesn’t get processed nor does it really.. Go anywhere ? it’d just get stuck in their stuffing & start rotting after awhile like any other food n’ that’s just Gross 😵💫 also a huge pain in the ass to clean out !!! so generally they don’t eat, no ^_^ and yeah they can’t taste it either, so it isn’t worth the trouble (plushies lack half of their old senses; taste + smell are just Gone, and tactile sensation becomes very limited)

So before I went on my study abroad program, the school gave us a pamphlet that warned us that while traveling we would experience a "W" of feelings.
When we first got there it'd be so exciting that we'd initially be at the top of the beginning of the W
The longer we were gone from home and the more culture shock we experienced, those feelings would dip into homesickness and missing people: the first bottom of the W
But after that, our emotions would level out again back up to where we miss home a little less and appreciate where we are
(and then we experience it all over again when we come home: the second dip in the W)
I feel like, for Ted, we started s3 at the bottom of the first dip, but then saw him go back up the other side throughout the season.
Which is why when people say that he started off sad and questioning so of course he had to go back, that just doesn't make sense to me.
'Cause of course his excitement levels for being in a new place dipped and his homesickness increased, that literally happens to everyone when they travel long term
And yeah, if Henry and Michelle had moved to England, they'd experience that first U, but it'd probably be easier for them than Ted, considering how often they'd visited and the community they already had waiting for them

non issue but i'm always going back and forth between whether or not cana had a crush on atlas early on cause like. at first i was like "ok people might assume he and atlas have a brotherly relationship because atlas views another kid who lived in that house (quinn) as a sister" but i've since changed it so that its explicitly not familial, they weren't raised as or considered brothers, and atlas has a complicated relationship with quinn because he raised her. but then i was like "i don't have a ton of male and therefore mlm characters so what if there's like a toxic implication with one of them being an antagonistic guy who is bitter and angry that atlas left and tries to ruin his life" but atlas himself is gay and gets into a positive relationship with another man which is a huge part of the story, bigger than cana, so its not like the thesis there is "gay men are possessive and toxic".
but like... i feel like cana makes sense if you view him as having a complicated relationship with atlas where he simultanously resents and admires him and can't communicate that because of their horrific upbringing, and as a result he destroys his relationship with him and when he's forced into his rock bottom he has to confront why he acted that way and make strides to become a better person, and maybe eventually he does find a healthier relationship
so i guess im leaving that up to interpretation. like its not inherently canon but you can view it that way if you want and i won't stop you.
