stranger things oc challenge ⋆ day 007 — alternate universe: experiment 007
Seven. That’s what Oscar had been called for most of his life. At least, until he and Kali broke free from the Hawkins lab and ran away together. Ever  since then, he’s been Oscar. Oz, to friends. Free from the lab and their torture, Kali and Oz set out to live the lives they never got to have: the lives of rich, happy kids with nothing to worry about. And it all seems to be working out pretty well, until Eleven finds them.
There’s just something about the young girl that makes all of Oz’s deepest worries kick into overdrive, and when Eleven threatens to run away from them again Oz can’t help but join her in the quest to save her friends. Suddenly, he’s living with the Hawkins chief of police and pretending to be Eleven’s — or, Jane’s — older brother. Suddenly Oz has to pretend to be a normal teenager, something he hasn’t been his entire life, and all he has to teach him is a disgruntled fourty-three year old man and an even less well-adjusted fourteen year old.
So Oz turns to the first teenager he can find who seems relatively normal — at least, to Oz. He turns to Eddie Munson for help.

Okay so this idea has been rocking around my empty skull for some time now just we know that Eddie can be a pretty mean DM and a shithead and I've been thinking abt romances in D&D and how it would work in Hellfire
And I had this thought that Eddie would like be "no romances!!" to the Corroded Coffin group (before the kids joined) and they're like why? and Eddie just to tease them says that he doesn't want to pretend to fall for their smelly ugly faces
Which just motivates them to try and seduce like every character that Eddie introduces for a fucking month and it leads to the creation of the rule: Every romance/seduction directed roll must be rolled above 15 to succeed AND if Eddie decides that the attempt is particularly bad the roll is with disadvantage
The Corroed Coffin boys are obviously teasingly like ohhh so we get an advantage if it's good?
"Doubt that would happen boys, but sure, if you make me, Eddie fucking Munson, to blush like a fair maiden then you'll get the advantage on the roll"
They try, they really do, but all the CC boys succeed in doing is killing off all of their party in three sessions and Gareth who is a little shit is actually rolling his third character (because the consequences of a failure are fucking brutal) by the time Jeff and [unnamed freak] give up
After that they know better (except Gareth who still sometimes does that just to annoy Eddie and be a little shit) to try and then the kids join Hellfire and Eddie has even less of an desire to flirt with fucking Wheeler, Henderson and Sinclair (they're baby children!!)
But the kids are a little shits too and they see Gareth being a little shit so they copy
It ends badly for them, they gripe about Eddie being unfair because like "all three of us have girlfriends Eddie and you don't so we clearly know more about romance then you do" Dustin not only gets a flick on the head for that but his character might have ended up being put into situations™ throughout the session that are "totally unfair!"
But fair to say all of Hellfire knows the rules and all of hellfire knows that no matter how well they try and how smooth they are (they really aren't ever smooth) Eddie will not blush or even consider they attempts as "good", the best they got was "tolerable" (Lucas got it and he's still very proud of it, as he deserves okay?), Eddie is impossible to fluster and so it's just is this fun thing they sometimes do when they feel particularly like little shits
And that's it about it
Until Vecna and all the upside down shit and the surprising friendship of Eddie and Steve happens
And suddenly Steve Harrington is not only sitting but playing D&D
Everything is going actually pretty good and Dustin practically vibrates out of his chair at how proud he is of Steve for how well he is doing so far and then
And then Steve tries to flirt with a pretty bard
Dustin deflates, he is ready for the absolute disaster that is going to fall upon Steve, he makes eye contact with Lucas - both of them ready with "it was actually a pretty good line tho!" at the tip of their tongues to defend Steve's decisions, he doesn't know Eddie's special rules after all and it would be funny to see Steve fail, sure, but it's Steve's first game and the kids wanted it to be good for Steve so convincing him to play again would be easier
But now Eddie is going to absolutely rip into him and Steve will never want to play again and-
"Roll with advantage" Dustin gasps, audibly, loudly, the room is silent, except for Steve who's very unaware of the chaos he just created and just rolls the dices, his usual confidence in place
And if someone looked closely - and all of the hellfire is fucking looking - Eddie Munson has indeed a light blush on his face

You're My Heaven, Angel (Paramedic Steve x Rockstar Eddie) - Part 2
Part 1 // Part 2 // Part 3 (Coming Soon)
AN: I just wanted to say a quick THANK YOU to everyone who has been so kind and so supportive of Part 1! I hear you and I, too, want to create a whole series based around this idea. It's a lot of pressure following-up something that's so beloved, but I'm going to give it my best!
Robin must secretly hate Steve.
She must be the most incredible actress in the entire world. She must be the most prolific conman that’s in the business of conman-ing people or whatever. She must have made a blood oath with an elder god during a full moon that no matter how many days or weeks or months or years it took, she would one day make Steve Harrington’s life absolutely miserable. There’s no other reasonable explanation for why she insists on taking the scenic route to Eddie’s room - a scenic route which adds on two additional minutes of travel time instead of heading straight down the hallway (which maybe adds forty seconds tops).
A route which means Steve has to bear two additional minutes of Eddie loudly introducing him to every single doctor, nurse, patient or family member that they come across on the way to his suite. Never mind that Steve’s worked with most of these doctors and nurses for years now, never mind that he actually goes to Sharla’s poker group when he has Thursdays off with the other fifty-something moms on staff (which Robin never ceases to find absolutely hilarious); no, Eddie is all smiles and arm flourishes, loudly – too loudly – proclaiming that they are now in the presence of his angel, his baby, his angel baby, the love of his life, the apple of his eye, his amor, his partner, his husband –
“Congratulations, Steve! I didn’t know you got married!” Sue laughs as the entire production passes by.
“Yeah, yeah,” Steve rolls his eyes. Eddie blows her a noisy kiss before clearing his throat. He takes a deep breath, and –
“I’M GETTING MARRIED IN THE MORNING - ”
“Robin, he’s singing again!”
“I know, dingus, I can hear him.”
“DING DONG, THE BELLS ARE GONNA CHIIIIIMMMEEEEEEEE - ”
Steve turns back, risking a glare at Robin mid-step. “Remind me why we’re going the long way around?”
Robin snorts out a laugh, shit-eating grin firmly in place. “Come on, Stevie, we all need the exercise.”
“ – GET ME TO THE CHURCH ON TIMMMMMEEEE – Stevie? Stevie,” Eddie turns and sighs at Steve and okay, Steve can’t tell if Eddie’s eyes are super dilated because of the probable head trauma or if there’s a weird reflection from the fluorescents, but his eyes are, like, legit sparkling up at him. “Steeeeeevieeeee - ”
“Yep, I’m still here.” Eddie grins, flopping to the side so that their joined hands are resting up against his head. He sighs happily, his feet wiggling under the shock blanket, and it’s not cute Steve stop thinking it’s cute –
“Steve!” He pulls his eyes away just as the gurney comes to a stop in front of Brenda, one of the intake nurses currently on shift. Brenda’s blonde and cute and ethically non-monogamous, but Steve is more of a one and done sort of guy. That doesn’t mean they don’t flirt like crazy anytime they bump into each other, though. (Hey, he’s gotta stay in shape somehow.)
“Looking good today. Is that a new shirt?” She asks with a smirk, her eyes running over his biceps. (It’s not a new shirt, Robin just ran it through the dryer, so it shrunk. Really, he should have gotten rid of it, but it makes his biceps look amazing.)
“Nah, it’s - ”
He has a line. He has a great line. But as soon as he opens his mouth to speak it, he’s cut off by a very loud hissing sound coming from his left and –
Yep, it’s Eddie. Eddie, who’s glaring at Brenda like they’re mortal enemies. Seriously, it’s a good thing he doesn’t have laser eyes like that one superhero guy because if he did, Brenda would be at risk of getting too tan.
“MINE!” Eddie snaps at the end of his hiss and then, all while still maintaining eye contact with Brenda, he yanks Steve’s hand to his mouth and licks it. And not, like, a gentle lick that you’d get from a puppy. No, Eddie licks his hand like he’s trying to give Steve a tongue bath.
(His first instinct should be to pull away, but instead all Steve can think about it Eddie giving him an actual full body tongue bath - )
“Dude!” Steve exclaims when he does finally pull his hand away. (He hears Robin snort under her breath, clearly having caught onto the fact that his brain broke at the whole licking thing and shit, now he’s thinking about it again - )
“No, MINE!” Eddie growls, and Steve barely has a chance to wipe his hand on his pants before Eddie is grabbing it back, clutching it between both of his hands like it’s his special or something. (Special, was that the word that the guy used? The little creepy guy in that one movie? He needs to text Dustin and ask.)
“Aww, I’m glad to see you’ve finally met someone!” Brenda teases.
“Uh, yeah,” Steve replies distractedly, trying (and failing) to shake one of Eddie’s hands off of his hand because now that they’re actually at his suite, he’s going to need them. “Brenda, this is - ”
“The concussion patient from Lollapalooza, Sarah clued me in,” Brenda says, snapping her gum. “Eddie, right?”
Eddie pauses from wrestling with Steve to sniff at Brenda and honestly, as someone who spent way too much time at country clubs as a child because of his parents, Eddie has the whole I’m-better-than-you-you-poor-person-wearing-Adidas expression locked down. “That’s Mister Eddie to you, Briony.”
Briony? “Who’s Briony?”
Robin kicks the gurney forward with an eye roll and suddenly they’re moving into the suite. “Don’t worry your pretty little head about it, dingus.”
Eddie finally manages to tear his eyes away from Brenda. He perks his head up at Steve and once Steve’s face is in his line of sight his expression softens, the sparkles coming back in full force. “And it’s such a pretty head, baby.”
Such a pretty head SUCH A PRETTY HEAD –
“I’ll show you – ow, Robin, seriously?” Steve yelps at Robin’s pinch.
“Stop being horny and help me get him on the bed.”
“I’m - ”
“Don’t listen to her baby, please, please stay horny, and lose the shirt while you’re at it!” Eddie sits up and starts frantically grasping at Steve’s sleeves. “Christ almighty, these arms, arms of heaven, arms of an angel - ”
“Steve!” Robin barks and shit, he needs to focus. He takes advantage of the fact that Eddie let go of his hand to grab at his shirt and darts down to the other end of the gurney. They lift on a count of three, placing Eddie onto the bed and kicking the wheeled cart out of the way. (Eddie makes a loud WHEEEEEEEEE sound and then immediately goes back to demanding that Steve get naked.) Sarah, who’s followed the procession the entire time, grabs the empty cart and wheels it out of the room just as Brenda steps in.
“Well then, Eddie, let’s get started on intake,” Brenda nods, bringing out her iPad. “Are you ready to answer a few questions?”
“No.”
Robin groans and steps to the side, energetically fluffing and reorganizing Eddie’s pillows so he’s seated up. Somehow Eddie is able to lean around Robin’s wide-armed movements and fix Brenda with yet another piercing glare.
Brenda shoots Steve a look before nodding her head at Eddie.
Right.
“Hey, uh, Eddie, we really need to ask you a few questions - ”
“Hand!” Eddie snaps to look at Steve and sticks his hand towards him. He wiggles his fingers a few times before making a grabby motion. “Hand!”
It’s not cute. It’s totally not cute.
Steve sighs but walks back around from the foot of the bed and places his hand gently in Eddie’s. Eddie links their fingers and squeezes tightly. “Uh, how about now, is now okay to ask a few questions?”
Huffing, Eddie looks at their fingers for a few moments before looking upwards at Steve. Their eyes meet and he grins. “Hi angel,” he lets out a pleased sigh. “I missed you.”
Don’t say it don’t say it DON’T SAY IT -
“I missed you too, Eds.”
FUCK.
“Awwwww, my little schmoopers are being all schmoopy-moopy!” Robin sings in her best baby voice. (That’s it, he’s eating the rest of the Chunky Monkey.)
“I’m eating the rest of the Chunky Monkey.”
“Uh, like fuck you are.”
“I'd rather have you eat me,” he hears Eddie whisper and yeah, okay, that’s one he’s just going to choose to ignore for the sake of what little sanity he has left.
“Right, okay,” he hears Brenda try to get things back on track. “About those intake questions - ”
“Oh, don’t worry Nurse Brenda,” the lilting voice of Dr. Suzie Henderson floats into the room. “I can take it from here.”
Steve turns just in time to see Suzie strut into the emergency suite. She shoots Brenda a grateful nod and Brenda, with one last wink to Steve, hands her iPad off to Suzie and heads out of the room.
“Bye Steve!”
“Bye Brenda.”
“Yeah, bye Brittany!”
Suzie has the best laugh in the world, and she lets it fly on her walk over. “Hey Steve,” Suzie grins at him as she makes her way towards the foot of Eddie’s bed. “How are things going today?”
“Oh, good,” Steve replies quickly before turning to look at Eddie. “Eddie, this is Doctor Suzie Henderson, she’s my sister-in-law.”
Eddie slowly scooches his butt backwards so he’s sitting up more. “No, she’s our sister-in-law,” he huffs before turning and smiling at Suzie. “Hey sis!”
“And you must be Eddie! I heard you were thinking about marrying into the family.” She lets out a quick giggle at those words but then clears her throat and throws her shoulders back. “Well, if you are serious about joining our Steve in holy – or unholy – matrimony - ”
“Fuck yeah,” he hears Eddie whisper.
“ – then I’m going to need you to answer a few questions.”
“Proceed, milady.” Eddie starts gently caressing Steve’s hand with his fingers. Steve shoots a look at Robin, who makes exaggeratedly sappy faces while glancing between Steve and their intertwined fingers.
(Forget the Chunky Monkey, he’s eating all of the ice cream they have left tonight.)
“Full name?”
“Edward Anthony Munson.”
“Age?”
“Thirty-one.”
“Name of your emergency contact?”
“Oh, that would be Uncle Wayne and Chrissy! Baby, you’re going to love Wayne,” Eddie says, turning to gaze lovingly up at Steve. “And he’s going to love you! Not as much as I love you though, that’s impossible.”
(Steve’s pretty sure that Bambi eyes here is the impossible one.)
“Great, is Wayne and Chrissy’s contact information in your medical file?”
“Uh huh,” Eddie replies dreamily, still gazing at Steve.
“Okay, speaking of your file,” Suzie taps at her iPad, “any major events in your medical history that we should know about?”
“Hmmm?”
He can feel it on his face, he can feel his stupid grin on his stupid face, but he chooses to instead focus on helping Eddie pay attention. “She wants to know if there’s major health events in your past that we need to know about, Bambi.”
“Bambi?”
“BAMBI?!” Robin squeaks after Eddie.
Shit shit SHIT -
“I mean - ”
“Bambi,” Eddie hums, blinking rapidly as he slumps back against his pillows. Once he's settled, he tosses his free hand across his forehead and moans happily. “He loves me. He loves me, he loves me, HE LOVES MEEEEEE - ”
Don’t blush DO NOT BLUSH BODY STOP BLUSHING
“Oh my god that was amazing, I have literally never seen you this red, you look like an actual tomato. Oh my god, I have to tell Nance, like, now.”
“Right, yes, okay Bambi,” Suzie interrupts with a snicker, “like Steve said, is there anything we need to know?”
“Well, we’re in love,” Eddie sighs, pressing a quick kiss to the top of Stevie’s hand. “I think I’m still a little high but it’s only weed, I’ve definitely stopped doing cocaine since, like, five months ago. No need to worry about that, angel,” Eddie pats the top of Steve’s hand.
“Yeah, no, I definitely won’t worry about that.” (He’s definitely going to worry about that.)
“Well, thank you for your honesty, Eddie. I’m going to take a closer look at your files once we get them just to get a better picture of your overall health before we run our tests. Now, second set of questions,” Suzie loudly taps and drags a new window on her tablet open. “What is your annual income?”
(Huh. That’s weird. Steve’s doesn't think he's ever heard any of the nurses ask that question before.)
Eddie snorts out a laugh. “God, I make so much money. A fucking stupid amount of money.”
“You have something in way of a retirement plan then?”
“Doc, I could retire for, like, the next five hundred million years.”
Susie hums as she makes a note. “Do you have anything against sharing resources with your romantic partner?”
(Okay, Steve definitely hasn't heard anyone else ask these questions before.)
“Nah!” Eddie scoffs before gently tugging on Steve’s hand to get his attention. “You’ll be the hottest trophy wife, babe. Do you have an apron? I’m going to buy you an apron.”
“And what are your feelings on children?”
“Kids? I love kids. Is he good with kids? I bet he’s good with kids,” Eddie rushes out. “Fuck, you’re going to look so hot pregnant, baby.”
Robin makes a loud barfing noise which Suzie naturally ignores. “What exactly are you looking for in a relationship?”
“Suzie - ”
“Him! My angel,” Eddie slumps to the side so he’s leaning up against Steve’s hip. “I want to wrap him up in a warm towel and keep him forever and make sweet, sweet love to him under the - ”
“OKAY, next question please,” Robin loudly cuts him off.
“So what you’re saying is you’re looking for a committed relationship with Steve,” Suzie ignores Robin's dramatics. “Are you prepared for lifelong monogamy?”
“Absolutely.”
“Suz - ”
“And you’ll work every day to be deserving of Steve?”
“For the rest of my life,” Eddie proclaims and fuck, he actually sounds serious. He actually looks serious too.
Huh.
Suzie quietly observes him for a moment before her face relaxes into a warm smile. “I believe you. Now, dealbreakers. What are your opinions on outdoor weddings? Steve gets scared in churches.”
“What?!” Eddie gasps, snapping back to Steve.
“SUZ – what, no, I’m not afraid of churches - ”
“Uh yeah you are, you said that every time you visit one you get nightmares about being sacrificed on an altar,” Robin chimes in.
“Gee, thanks, Robin.”
“Baby, baby, don’t worry, I’d never let them sacrifice you,” Eddie tries to comfort Steve, but everything that’s happened in the last thirty seconds – hell, the last thirty minutes – is starting to finally sink in and yeah, okay, there’s an obscenely hot and rich and famous rockstar telling Steve that he loves him and sure, he’s partially concussed but the joke isn’t ending, he’s acting like he’s serious and they’ve only exchanged like maybe twenty words total but he’s acting like this is actually happening and what if it actually could –
“Shoot, we’re going to have to wrap it up here, loverboy,” Robin waylays his runaway thoughts as her beeper goes off. “We’ve got a fainter with a broken nose."
“Okay, okay.” Steve shakes his head and tries to gently extract his hand from Eddie’s grasp but Eddie lurches at the feeling of Steve moving his hands and whines, digging his finger into Steve’s hand.
“Eddie, I’m sorry, but I’ve got to get back to work.”
“But – no, angel, please,” he blubbers before turning his eyes on Steve and –
Oh.
Oh no.
They’re even bigger and shinier when he’s crying.
“I’m sorry, Bambi,” he replies totally deliberately, “but I’ve got to go finish my shift. I’ll come back when I’m done, okay?”
Eddie sniffles, rubbing his eyes with his free hand. “Promise?”
“Promise.”
“Okay,” he whimpers sadly, and – look, this joke isn't really joking anymore so if Eddie's gonna go all the way, he might as well go all the way too.
He leans forward and presses a quick kiss to the top of Eddie’s head. “Be good for Suzie, okay?” As he draws back, he glances back down at Eddie. Eddie is blinking dazedly at Steve, all glassy-eyed and rosy.
“Wow,” Eddie whispers, and while the smile that appears on his face is small, it’s the warmest one Steve has seen yet. “Whatever you say, baby.”
“Right, right.” Steve nods and then pivots, making a hasty retreat out of the room.
“Later, Bambi,” Robin sings behind him, and then she’s quick on Steve’s heels. The hall’s crowded, though, so they aren’t fast enough to escape the start of Suzie and Eddie’s conversation.
(“So, outdoor wedding? Maybe in spring?”
“Can it be in Hobbiton?”
“Uh, it better be in Hobbiton!”)
“I’m kinda surprised to see you staking your claim already, dingus,” Robin says, thrusting the portable gurney mat into Steve’s arms as they walk. “I was worried I’d have to make you.”
“I shouldn't have done that. I mean, he’s a patient, Robin!”
“Not anymore, he’s not!” Robin gently bumps his hip. “He's not your patient anymore so now we need to start planning your next move. I mean, he’s obviously going to say yes when you ask him out, but it still needs to be smooth.”
“What – I’m Steve Harrington, I’m always smooth.”
Robin is purposely silent.
“Okay, first of all, rude,” he says after giving her plenty of time to politely agree. “Second of all, even if I did decide to make a move, there actually isn’t a guarantee he’d say yes. Even if he wasn't just doing this because he's heavily concussed, I’ve hardly talked to the guy!”
“I know, he has no idea how much of a dork you are, it’s great.”
Steve offers Robin a hand as he climbs into the ambulance. (Not without shooting her a look once they're both seated, of course because again, rude.)
Robin shrugs Steve's frown off. “Look, dingus, I know you think that you have all these great lines or whatever - ”
“Uh, I don’t think, I do have them - ”
“ – but they’re, like, obviously lines. Whatever you say to him has to be more real. He needs to know that if he says yes, he’s going to be going on a date with a guy that has the ooiest, gooiest, squishiest little itty bitty heart!” She squeezes her hands together like she’s holding Steve’s heart in her hands (which definitely isn’t concerning given the fact that she’s technically a medical professional who knows just how vulnerable that particular organ is.)
“Robs - ”
“ITTY BITTY!” She kisses the tips of her fingers. “And that’s why we gotta plan, doinkus. Edward Anthony Munson needs to be constantly conscious of the fact that he’s dating the best guy on the entire planet because you are, Steve, you are the best guy on Earth and you deserve a Prince Charming even though the Prince Charming archetype is totally outdated and part of a patriarchal initiative to establish systematic gender dynamics - ”
Well, shucks. Maybe Robin doesn’t hate him after all.
“ - doesn't exist, its still what you deserve. But more importantly than that, if Eddie does start dating you, then I have a better shot of getting him to introduce me to Chris Hemsworth.”
“Chris Hemsworth?"
“Uh, yeah.”
"Chris Hemsworth - Chris Hemsworth? Out of every famous person Eddie could hypothetically introduce you to, you'd want to meet Chris Hemsworth?"
"Well, yeah," Robin takes a brief sip of her water before shooting Steve a playful smirk. “I mean, as great as you are, I wouldn't be opposed to upgrading my emotional support himbo.”
Never mind, she’s evil incarnate.
(And she’s going to be out of Chunky Monkey in about five hours.)

Prompt number 2 bc I’m praying for more jealous Steve content. Bc Eddie can be so oblivious and Steve can be such a bitch and those things are so important to me
Eddie was a glutton for self-punishment, that was the only reasonable explanation he could come up with on what the fuck he was doing here. Sitting at some random gay bar as he watched the man he loved dance the night away with his bestfriend.
He just had to volunteer to be their designated driver. Maybe it was stupid, but Eddie thought that y'know, a gay bar meant that no he would not have to watch Steve flirt with some randos. But he forgot the small detail that bisexual people existed. And he had seen at least three damn girls slip Steve their number.
Which was just...so fucking cruel. Why did life always have to do him so dirty? Eddie had thought that maybe...if they went to this type of place together Steve's mind would open up a bit. A stupid fucking thought honestly. Based off of nearly nothing. Like, okay sure, Steve was all touchy feely with him sometimes. When he was high or drunk suddenly Eddie became his personal chair. And he would say just...the sweetest shit. Going on and on about how happy he was to have met him, how he's so glad he's alive and well, how funny Eddie was, how nice and sweet and pretty and...and all of it had sent his traitorous brain into a tailspin that had him thinking he actually had a chance with a straight guy.
And the fucked up part was that Eddie had really tried to start doing the right thing. He put a little distance between them when he figured out that he was past a silly crush. No he was head over heels for the guy and he needed to get over it. Fast. And if he could just start saying no when Steve called to get high or have a few beers together he probably would have made some progress by now.
But no, he was still to eager for contact with him to say no. Which made him feel like a creep, always waiting around for Steve to be a little out of his mind just so he could get a hug.
When did he become so pathetic?
The only slight comfort he had tonight was the fact that he wasn't alone. It really wasn't fair to bring a straight guy to a place like this, but at least every guy who had eyes on Steve was going to have to suffer in silence with him.
And some of them were kind of cute. Cute enough for Eddie to try and use one as a distraction. He was sitting next to a preppy looking guy, talking to him a little bit. Maybe he shouldn't have set his eyes on someone that kind of looked like Steve, but fuck it. His name was Andrew, and he was nice, a good flirt. The perfect diversion for when Eddie could tear his eyes away from Steve.
And things were actually getting a little interesting with him. He had his hand on Eddie's arm, leaning in to loudly whisper everything he said in Eddie's ear. He was smiling at him, close enough for Eddie to see the pretty gold flakes in his eyes.
They weren't as pretty as Steve's but they'd do.
Andrew tucked a bit of Eddie's hair back behind his ear, leaning in again. But he didn't go for his ear this time, no, he was zeroing in right to Eddie's lips. Not that he was complaining, he let it happen, a sweet, light kiss that had zero time to escalate to more.
Because suddenly, someone was tugging at his arm, hard enough to force Eddie's whole body back, nearly out of his chair. He blinked, more than a little startled to see Steve coming out of nowhere, clinging onto him with that stupid, gorgeous smile.
"Eddieeee," Steve whined, completely ignoring Andrew's presence, "Robin ditched me to make out with someone in the bathroom."
Eddie couldn't help but smile a little bit, despite the fact that he was definitely interrupting what was probably the first good thing about this night. He glanced over at Andrew, who was staring at them, wide-eyed before saying, "Uh, I didn't know you had a boyfriend."
"I don't-"
"I can't hear you in here," Steve loudly interrupted, looking adorably confused, "Come outside with me?"
If Eddie was smart, he would have gently pried Steve's hands off him before sending him off to find Robin. But...a drunk Steve was also a very cute and cuddly one. So fuck it, Eddie could find a rebound for his non-existent relationship next weekend.
He shrugged at Andrew, mouthing a quick apology at him before Steve started to drag him outside through the back door. Eddie half expected Steve to do his usual routine when he was toasted. Sweetly asking for a piggy back ride that Eddie literally could never refuse before falling asleep on his back. Then he'd get him in the car, wrangle Robin from wherever the hell she was, and they'd be off.
But the second they were stepping outside Steve was straightening up and stepping back, to Eddie's immediate confusion. He leaned against the wall, glaring at Eddie in a way he had never seen. Or at least directed at him.
"So," Steve started, his tone way too close to how he sounded when one of the kids pissed him off, "Who was that guy? You looked pretty cozy in there."
Eddie's brain was still struggling to catch up to the change in atmosphere here. But he tried to answer anyway, "I mean we were but-wait. Why are you not drunk? You were literally just-"
"It's called acting dipshit," Steve mumbled, crossing his arms in front of his chest. Which ow, rude. But his next words hurt even more, "Not like I have a choice, since you only seem to like me when I'm fucked up."
Eddie could feel his heart stop in his chest. He didn't-oh no. Oh god. Steve figured out he was a creep. A creep who was probably moments away from getting his ass handed to him.
Eddie swallowed, at a loss for what to say. But he still tried, "I-look dude it's um, it's not like that. I didn't- I wasn't trying to make you uncomfortable-"
"Then why the fuck would you kiss another guy right in front of me?"
Okay. That was enough of that. Yes, Steve could be mad about him being creepy, but no he couldn't be mad over having to bear witness for a gay kiss at a gay bar, "Well if I had known that you were apparently only okay with seeing girls kiss each other I wouldn't have come out tonight at all! Honestly Steve, how can you even say that? Like that is some real dumbass levels of homophobia, even for you. I thought the King Steve thing had died-"
"Shut the fuck up oh my god," Steve hissed out, "Are you really that damn dense? That's what you think I'm upset about? Are you fucking kidding me? And I'm the dumbass?"
"Then why are you mad?" Eddie half asked, half yelled.
“I’m not mad," Steve seethed, like he didn't look about five seconds away from choking Eddie out, "I...I just think you can choose better people to kiss.”
Maybe he really was drunk after all. Because now he wasn't making any damn sense.
Eddie pinched the bridge of his nose, beyond frustrated, "Who Steve? Like, I'm sorry to break this to you but not all of us can fucking look like you do alright? We're not all charming, golden Adonis basketball players okay? And sometimes you need to take what you can get. And there was nothing wrong with Andrew-"
"You think I look like a golden Adonis?" Steve interrupted, a weird expression on his face. He looked almost...hopeful? But that didn't make any sense.
"That's what you got out of that?" Eddie asked, exasperated, "I-come one dude. You know you're hot. But that's not my point."
"Well it's mine!" Steve groaned. He was biting his lips, a very distracting nervous habit that Eddie had picked up on, "Because what the fuck are we even doing? You think I'm so hot, so charming, so great, and you decide to kiss someone else in front of me? What the fuck is that? Do you like seeing me jealous? Do you get off on me pining? Please explain."
You see, that was the funny thing about Eddie's brain. One second he was lost, staring at Steve's red, bitten lips, and the next he was desperately trying to catch up with what just came out of his mouth. All of it the perfect blend to effectively shut his brain off completely.
Eddie stared at him, his words as dumb as how his face probably looked, "I-what? Huh?"
Steve narrowed his eyes at him, "Are we really doing this? Are you going to pretend like it's all in my head?"
"I-no. I just-please explain," Eddie is pretty damn sure he had never stuttered through a sentence that hard in his life.
"I've been coming on to you for months and you just keep giving me all of these mixed signals and..." Steve sighed, looking away, "I'm so sick of it Eddie. If you don't like me just say that! Stop whatever this is. Because it's mean and you know it. If you want a better option then just take it already and leave me alone."
He-what-that didn't even- Steve was straight, wasn't he? And now the stuttering had invaded his thoughts. Because if he actually understood all of that then...
He was the biggest idiot on the planet.
And his stunned silence was not helping anything.
Steve sighed, pushing himself away from the wall. He turned away, "I'm going to find Robin. We can just...act like this didn't happen I guess. I'm done."
Eddie had to give himself on thing, at least his body was working a lot faster than his brain. Steve barely had time to take a single step away before he was shooting his hand out to grab his wrist, stopping him in his tracks.
"I didn't know you were an option!" Eddie blurted out, his heart hammering in his chest, "I-Stevie I thought all of it was in my head. I-I thought that you were straight and we were just hanging out-"
"You think I sit in the laps of my other guy friends?" Steve asked, completely unimpressed, "While playing with their hair and calling them beautiful? Really, dude?"
Eddie nodded, sure and fast, "Steve, I had to do my senior year three damn times. I'm not always the smartest okay? And in my defense you never mentioned like dudes-"
"Yes I have," Steve interrupted, "When you came out to me, I told you to your face that I understand. That I could relate about hiding things and not talking about it. I literally said we were in the same boat. What else could that mean?"
Eddie remembered that, crystal clear. But..."I thought you were talking about PTSD, not secretly being into dudes."
"One dude," Steve corrected, but he was relaxing a little, thank fuck. Maybe Eddie could still fix this.
He took a deep breath, using his hold on Steve's wrist to pull him closer. His hands were fucking shaking, bad enough for Steve to almost certainly notice when he rested them on his hips.
This was it, he might as well be as clear as humanly possible, "I am so into you. Like a scary amount. Like I'm...borderline in love with you."
He was completely in love with him, but he didn't have the balls to say that bit out loud. He kept going, "And I didn't know you felt the same way. At all. Like I am dangerously close to having a stroke from hearing all of that. You kind of flipped my world upside down there."
Steve huffed out a laugh. Eddie may have fucked up everything leading up to this point, but Steve was eating his little speech right up. He shuffled a little closer, wrapping his arms around Eddie's neck with a small smile, "Keep going."
"I thought that I had no chance. I mean even tonight, people couldn't stop looking at you. And you got those numbers-"
"I threw them away," Steve interrupted, "You missed that part."
He had definitely missed that part, too caught up in his own head. But that didn't stop a smile from breaking out on Eddie's face, "Good. Because if you want me, you have me. I'm all yours, in any way you want me. Understand? Fuck, Stevie if I had known any of this we'd be the ones making out in the bathroom right now. And I'm sorry about..."
For the life of him Eddie couldn't remember his name, not when he had Steve smiling at him in his arms, "The other guy. But it literally means nothing to me. Not if I get to have you. Do...do I get to have you?"
Steve hummed, pretending to think about it while he played with a lock of Eddie's hair, "I guess that depends. Is making out in the bathroom still on the table?"
"Fuck yes it is."
Steve grinned, leaning up to press the sweetest little kiss to the side of Eddie's mouth, "Then I guess you have me then."

Baker Steve and Rockstar Eddie AU is now going to be called What Baking Can Do (will i write it out? Someday. Hopefully soon)
Anyways I have more headcanons for the au
•Steve doesn't wear polos anymore because of the scar around his neck. His closet is literally filled with the softest sweaters and t-shirts he could get his hands on. The softness brings him comfort and feels nice on the scars.
•He always smells like baked goods and the kids love it. It's why they always give him hugs right when they see him, they love the smell and his hugs are so warm and just the best.
•All the kids help out at the bakery when they can, they think it's fun and plus! Job experience! El, Will and surprisingly Lucas all like to help out in the back, Steve teaches them his recipes and how to bake because these are his kids and they will be his legacy so he will teach them everything he can. Max, while not the best with customer service as well as Mike, are both really good at remembering peoples orders if they are sitting at the tables. Dustin is great as a greeter and handing people their to-go orders. Erica is the best taste-tester.
•Look, Steve is still hella popular with the ladies but now he's just so oblivious to their advances, like girls he went on dates with in high-school are trying to BAG this boy but he's always like, "Hang out? Sorry I can't Lucas has a game that day and I promised I'd make him basketball cupcakes."
"Lunch to catch up? I'd love to Brenda but the kids have their little Hotfire club thingy and I promised I would sit in for the session. Raincheck?"
"Dinner? Oh my god thank you for reminding me! We have a family dinner this weekend and I said I'd bring cornbread and a cake."
The kids think it's absolutely hilarious, like how dare you try to date our mom???? And yes they have purposefully "reminded" Steve of something he "promised."
•Eddie has witnessed this on one of his visits and he too finds it hilarious yet endearing. Like Steve may be a little dumb when it comes to people flirting with him but Eddie likes that in a man.
•Eddie is a romantic and absolutely brings Steve a bouquet every time he visits. He finds out quickly that sunflowers and roses are Steve's favorites.
•Eddie always enters the cafe loudly announcing, "HONEY I'M HOME!" Steve grumbles that he's disturbing the customers but he loves it. He always gets the biggest smile when Eddie comes in.
He especially loves hearing that phrase when Eddie's been gone for awhile due to a tour or something of the like.
•Once Steve finds out who Eddie is he tracks down some of his records to listen to and finds he actually likes some of the songs so when Eddie came in next time Steve absolutely just rambled on and on about how much he loved the songs and told Eddie what he liked about them and Eddie is just slowly melting into a puddle hiding behind his hair.
•Steve let's the kids and Robin play whatever music they want when they are working but when he's by himself he absolutely plays ABBA, The Cure, Wham, David Bowie or Prince.
Eddie loves this ridiculous man despite the Wham
•Steve will absolutely close the cafe if one of the kids call him and they're sad, just plain having a bad day or if they are having an emergency. He doesn't care if it's a rush, or if you need your banana bread right now Bethany, his kids need him.
•When Eddie first started visiting and the kids didn't run into him due to conflicting schedules and what not, he finds out quickly that Steve doesn't know who he is so he has no problem giving Steve his name. (He holds himself back from asking if Steve likes his last name enough to take it)
They slowly start to get to know each other and Eddie tells Steve he writes songs and Steve just declares that he's sure Eddie is great at it despite not reading any of Eddie's songs or listening to the man sing and when Eddie point that out Steve just huffy.
"You're an amazing guy Eddie who has seen and done so much. It's not hard to believe that you are talented at writing songs. You really have a way with words!"
And Eddie just wants to lay on the floor, this boy is too precious. He can't.
•When Robin is down on her days off from school and working at the cafe, her and Steve wear matching "uniforms" which is really her just snatching one of his sweaters (of course matching colors), putting on her apron and she always insists they switch name tags.
Steve always rolls his eyes but he also always does it. That's how regulars know Robin is back because Steve will be wearing the nametag 'Robin'
•They absolutely decorate the cage for every holiday. They go all out and it's always the most fun Steve has had on holidays.
Christmas: Him, Robin and the kids get ugly sweaters to wear for the cafe
Halloween: costumes but Robin and Steve are always Batman and Robin because they think it's funny.
Valentine's Day: Argyle made them shirts with neon colored Sweethearts Candies on them and they wear them every time.
Thanksgiving: Robin thinks it's hilarious for her and Steve to dress like vegetables. Dustin likes to be the Turkey. (Steve is almost always the corn)
•They do decorate the cafe for any member in the family's birthday for the day even if they're not having the party there.
•Eddie absolutely starts writing songs about Steve and that's how his band mates find out about him because they catch him singing the songs and other love songs.
•Eddie loves his band but he doesn't tell them where he goes when he goes to visit Steve, they share a lot, practically everything and he will introduce Steve to them and them to Steve but he doesn't do it right away because 1. He's wooing the man of his dreams 2. He just wants it to be for himself for a while
He does offer them treats though as an apology/bribe
•Eddie loves the kids but he is also terrified of them. Yes they are fans of his, but they clock in on the fact he wants to date Steve so fast and they each give him separate shovel talks. They make sure Steve doesn't see them do it though.
•Eddie fully thinks Steve is this super tender, sweet, sarcastic guy who wouldn't hurt a fly until he witnesses Steve defend him from an overzealous fan (which felt more like a stalker) that had followed them after they had had lunch at this local diner.
The fan had tried to get grabby. Had tried to take a "souvenir."
Steve has a mean right hook.
Steve so looked so proud of himself that he knocked the fucker out. He even put his hands on his hips and smiled all cutesy, "I won a fight!"
Which that sentence isn't terrifying right?
That was their first kiss. Also might have been the night Eddie confessed.

Being Luke’s twin but secretly dating eddy
Tumblr media
“truth or dare”
ethan edwards x hughes!reader
warning: gets a little angsty but gets better at the end, cursing, underage drinking
also i’m so sorry i totally got carried away with this, and i feel like i wrote a lot more about luke than ethan?? so i apologize for that! i hate this if i’m being honest but i’m not rewriting all that sooo… sorry if you hate this
word count: 3.1k
you and luke have always been extremely close, so you were happy to be going to the college with him, until now. luke is seriously everywhere, and you have a love-hate relationship with that. you’re secretly dating not only his teammate, but one of his best friends. you guys have always had a ‘no dating teammates or friends’ rule, and you broke that. but what’s worst of all is that you’ve been dating ethan for 2 months, and still haven’t told luke.
your attention is drawn from your laptop to the sound of your phone ringing. you answer it, confused as to why luke was calling you at 5pm on a friday. “hello?” you say. “y/n! me and the boys are going out tonight. practice just ended so we’re all gonna go shower and pregame at our house around like 8. you wanna come with?” you groan, “luke no, i have homework. plus i don’t want to spend my friday night with my brother and his teammates”
you hear luke sigh through the phone, “cmon please! you’re friends with all of them anyways! it wouldn’t be weird i promise, you can even bring a friend too. just bring maya!” luke pleads. “luke.. fine. i’ll ask if maya can come. she isn’t home right now but i’ll text her. you said the guys are coming over at 8 right?” “yeah we’re gonna pregame, and then go out to the club around 9.”
you sigh, and look in the mirror on your wall. your hair is in a messy bun, sweats on, and one of luke’s old high school hoodies loosely hugging your body. “i’m only coming if maya can come” “yeah well you know she’ll be all in when she finds out adam is coming” luke snickers. “oh shut up luke. i’m going back to doing my homework” “bye you little nerd” he says before ending the call. you then text maya and ask if she would come with you, and of course your party animal of a roommate agrees. instantly you facetime ethan, and also text luke to tell him that you’re coming.
“hey babe!” ethan exclaims. “hey e, me and maya are coming over tonight. you gonna be on your best behavior?” you wink at him. “the hell does that mean?!” “you always try and flirt with me or make sly moves when luke is around! it’s so risky ethan, i’m begging you don’t do anything tonight. i’m not ready to tell him yet.” “fine fine fine, i won’t try anything tonight.” he groans in annoyance. “you better not try anything edwards! anyways, i need to start getting ready so i’ll see you later.” you smile, and he smiles back as you end the call.
eventually you and maya make your way to the boys’ shared house. you can hear all of the guys loudly shouting and laughing through the door. you were given a spare key by luke, so you unlock the door and just walk right in. the groups boys cheer as you walk in, nolan greeting you by shoving a bottle of titos in your face. “maya, y/n! take a shot with me!” nolan exclaims. you can already tell that the boys have had a few shots, which means tonight was going to be very chaotic.
and it in fact did get very chaotic.
you all made it to the club about thirty minutes ago, and everyone is on their first actual drink of the night. you’re all buzzed from the shots taken earlier, but now it’s time for the real stuff. you’re on the dance floor with maya, when suddenly ethan’s arms snake around your waist. maya takes this as her cue to leave, so she chases down adam fantilli, her so called “man.” aka the guy she’s been sleeping with on the down low, yet everyone sort of knows about it.
“ethan stop! luke is here!” you say attempting to wiggle out of his grasp, failing due to his strong arms. “oh relax, he’s over there at the bar ordering a drink with mark. you don’t think i’m that stupid to do these things when he’s looking, do you?” “i don’t know! you can be a little dumb sometimes babe” you laugh as you readjust yourself so that you’re standing facing him. he fakes being upset, and releases you from his arms. mark walks over with luke, handing you a refill of your drink.
“oh thanks mark! you didn’t need to do that!” you exclaim. “oh i didn’t, your brother paid.” mark smiles. “of course he did” you roll your eyes. luke always pays for your drinks at the bar since he doesn’t trust anyone else to handle them, he always thinks you’ll get roofied or something. “guys cmon, rutger found a table and were all gonna play a drinking game. nolan got a bunch of shots for us to use!” luke exclaims. you all follow him to the table where all of the guys and maya are sat. you sit in between maya and dylan, ethan sat cross the table from you next to luke.
“alright guys, it’s truth or dare but if you chicken out you take a shot. it’s really simple” dylan explains. “easy enough, who’s starting?” luca says. “i will, ethan truth or dare!” johnny says. “i’m not a wuss, dare” he smirks at johnny. “i dare you to go up to some random chick, and use the absolute worst pickup line ever” johnny chuckles. “johnny that’s so lame!” adam groans. “not so fast there bud, i get to pick the girl.” johnny says, as ethan’s eyes go wide.
you basically feel your heart stop. absolutely no one besides maya knows that you and ethan are dating, so there’s nothing you can do to stop him. before you even realize it, ethan is standing up from the table and walking over to some random blonde girl wearing the most revealing outfit you’ve ever seen. you feel tears brim at your eyes since there’s absolutely nothing you can do about the situation. you can’t go over there and pull your boyfriend away from her, you have to watch in silence. so you do the next best thing to stop yourself from crying,
“i’m uh— gonna go to the bathroom really quick.” you say, quickly standing up and pushing past people in the crowd. you pass by ethan and the unknown blonde girl, and see her arm resting on his forearm. you watch as ethan’s eyes look into hers, then accidentally glance over into yours. his eyes go wide at the sight, and this only makes your blood boil even more. you speed up your beeline to the bathroom as ethan abandons the blonde girl. ethan begins chasing after you, leaving the girl utterly confused.
“y/n!” he calls out, pushing past people in an attempt to catch up with you. unfortunately there’s a line for the bathroom, so there’s no more avoiding ethan. he grabs your arm to turn you around, and sees you holding back tears.
“i’m so sorry.” he says, his eyes soft. “don’t be ethan, no one knows we’re dating anyways so there’s nothing either of us could’ve done” you say softly, yet loud enough for him to hear over the music. “i should’ve just taken the shot, y/n. i’m so sorry. i promise i wasn’t even interested in her!” “ethan just stop apologizing, i’m sorry for overreacting like this. please just go back to the guys, okay?” you say as you enter the bathroom, leaving ethan alone with his thoughts.
suddenly ethan feels marks hand on his shoulder. he turns around to face him, and sees luke on his way over as well. “what happened?” mark asks. “where’s my sister, edwards” luke asks, very much concerned. “she’s in the bathroom, i saw her hurrying to the bathroom so i thought something was wrong. plus that girl was weird and i wanted to leave.” he shrugs trying to play it cool, and i mean technically he wasn’t lying.
meanwhile you’re stood at the mirror looking at yourself. you’re not upset at ethan, you’re just disappointed in yourself. tonight was the biggest reality check ever. luke has absolutely no idea you guys are dating, and it’s eating you alive. he’s going to be so heartbroken when you tell him, because if you and ethan break up things will be weird, and you know luke will end up taking your side, meaning losing his best friend. but you don’t want there to be sides, you just want luke to be happy.
maya then walks into the bathroom, and helps you recollect yourself before you both head back to the table. the guys are still playing the game, and ethan gives you a pitiful ‘i’m sorry’ look. you smile at him letting him know it’s okay as you sit down again. you notice a few empty shot glasses, wondering what would’ve happened if there was one more empty glass from when it was ethan’s turn. you’re snapped from your thoughts when luke calls on you to answer a question.
“y/n/n truth or dare?” he snickers, plotting his next sentence. “truth” you say, afraid of luke’s idiotic dares. “damn it! i was hoping you’d pick dare, i don’t have any truth questions!” he rolls his eyes playfully. “i have one, i was gonna ask one of the guys but it’s still a good question.” philippe shrugs. “alright, shoot it at me flip” you say, calling him the nickname you’d given him.
“who’d you lose your virginity to?” he asks, making your eyes almost bulge out of your head. all of the guys start laughing and oohing, making your cheeks flush red.
you definitely couldn’t answer that question since it was in fact, ethan edwards.
you grab a shot off of the table and down it, the familiar warm sting flowing down your chest. “woah woah woah, why did you answer that missy!” luke scolds you. “probably cause she’s a little virgin” dylan teases, making you hide your face in maya’s shoulder from embarrassment of the topic. suddenly, a drunken ethan blurts out something you’d never expected to ever be said.
“oh it’s not because of that.” he blurts. you then hear the boys around you go quiet, and your mouth falls agape. he instantly covers his mouth, in shock of what has just slipped out of his mouth. “ethan, what do you mean by that.” luke turns to face him, anger written all over his face.
“i uh— um—“ he stutters on his words. “ethan. fucking speak.” luke says, nothing but seriousness in his tone. “yo uhh i think we need more shots! who wants to come with me!” mackie nervously chuckles. the entire rest of the group says “me” in unison, before quickly rising from the table. you look at maya hoping she’ll stay, but he gives you a pitiful look and scurries off.
“fucking speak edwards! did you have sex with my twin sister?” he yells, startling both you and ethan. “luke stop!” you cry out. luke then realizes what’s going on due to your guys’ silence, and chuckles out of anger. “i cant believe either of you. especially you y/n. fuck both you!” he shouts, before storming away from the table and you assume out of the club.
the rest of the night is a blur, but all you can remember is taking another six shots and getting shit face drunk. somehow maya got you both home, and now you’re sat in bed on a saturday morning with the worst hangover of your life. you haven’t spoke to both ethan nor luke since last night, and you’re dreading checking your phone.
you drink the water and pills maya left you on your nightstand, and face your fear of powering your phone back on. you see a few texts from ethan, a couple from mark, one from dylan, and none from luke. you and ethan text back and forth for bit, and you learn that he’s staying at nolan’s place for right now. he continues to apologize and you reassure him that it’s okay, luke had to find out eventually anyways.
you decide to be brave and write out a text to luke. you know you’re in the wrong, but you also know that luke isn’t the guy to hold a grudge, especially when it comes to family. you’re just hoping he’ll hear you out.
to: lukey
hey lu, can we talk? i’m really sorry, honestly words can’t even describe how sorry i am. i promise i was gonna tell you, you weren’t supposed to find out like this. can we catch lunch today and talk? i love you.
to: you
cant. i have practice sorry
your heart falls to your stomach when you see this. you try your best to hold back tears, but you can’t help it when you realize just exactly what you’ve done. you and luke bicker often, but never have you ever been in a fight this bad since middle school, when luke kissed your best friend in a game of truth or dare.
seems like truth or dare games aren’t the best for you and luke’s relationship.
quiet sobs escape your mouth, and you curl up into a ball still laying in your bed. you grab your phone and do the best thing you can think of, calling quinn. he surprisingly answers quickly despite the time difference.
“hello? y/n are you okay? you never call me” he says. “quinn.” you choke out. “are you crying?! what’s wrong?” he quickly speaks up. “me and l-luke. we got in the worst fight ever. i don’t think he- he’ll ever forgive me” you sob, just wishing you could take everything back. “don’t say that, luke will forgive you. he’s your twin, there’s no way he won’t. what happened?” he asks.
you take a deep breath and wipe the snot and tears from your face before you explain everything. “oh y/n/n. me and you both know that you’re in the wrong, i’m not gonna lie to you and try to sugarcoat that. but i’ll try to talk to him, i won’t tell him i know anything. you guys need to talk, just give him time. this is a lot for him. but i promise you aren’t a bad person. he just needs time, y/n.” “you’re the best quinn.” you smile, even though he can’t see you.
“love you y/n. i’ll talk to him, but don’t be afraid to call me if you need anything. maybe don’t tell jack yet since he has a temper, but i’ll tell my coach to let me check my phone at practice incase you called, mkay?” “mkay. love you quinny” you say before he ends the call. you decide to leave your room, and you see maya on the couch watching love island.
“hey, how are you?” she asks you. “a mess” you chuckle, gesturing to your puffy face and tear stained cheeks. “oh lovey c’mere” she says as she gets up and pulls you into a hug. she gently rubs your back, the same way ethan does.
you invited ethan over for a bit, and as you’re cuddling in your bed, reality hits again. you sigh loudly, grabbing ethan’s attention. “it’ll be okay, i promise you baby.” he says as he traces shapes on your back. “i just feel like a shitty person, eth.” “you aren’t a shitty person, you can’t control who you’re attracted too” he says pressing a gentle kiss into your hair. “ethan maybe this is too early and bad timing, but i love you.” “i love you more, y/n. this whole situation really showed me that.” he smiles down at you, making you forget about the whole thing for the slightest moment.
eventually ethan leaves, and you cry some more, and then you decide to call luke. of course he doesn’t pick up, so you leave a voicemail since you have absolutely nothing better to do. “luke call me back, please? im sorry. i love you, it wasn’t supposed to happen like this.” you pause to let out a chuckle, “god i’m a mess i’m sending you a voicemail? this is embarrassing, anyways please call me back? or text me, just please talk to me.” you say before ending your ramble and pressing the end button.
after practice he listens to your voicemail, and can hear the genuine pain in your voice. he decides to text you back, since he hates this just as much as you do.
to: you
still down to meet up for a late lunch?
to: lukey
absolutely, meet me at our spot at 2:30?
to: you
okay see you there
read: 2:05 pm
you arrive at the hole in the wall cafe you and luke discovered as soon as you arrived in ann arbor last year. you see luke sitting at a table near the corner, and you slowly make your way over there. you sit down and you both look at each other in silence. you decide to break it, since technically this is your fault.
“i’m so sorry luke. i was going to tell you i promise.” “are you guys dating? or just hooking up?” “dating..” you say quietly. “well that’s better than i thought, i was worried that you guys were just gonna end up ghosting each other after a booty call or something, and then be all salty or whatever. i’m just glad that the girls who i hear in the guys’ rooms aren’t you” he chuckles, lightening the mood. “ew, gross luke” you groan, not needing to know how many girls get brought over to the house.
“how long have you guys been dating?” he asks, bringing back the serious topic. “two months.” you say awkwardly. “oh wow, okay” he says, shocked that it’s already been a bit of time. “so he took your uh- vir-“ “i’m not talking about this with you luke!” you groan hiding your face in your hands from embarrassment. “sorry sorry! but i think you guys are cute, i just don’t appreciate secrets being kept from me.” “it won’t happen again i promise luke, im really sorry.” “but you better tell him that if he ever hurts you i’ll beat his ass, like seriously.”
you chuckle, and text ethan telling him everything that just happened, showing luke your screen from across the table as you do so.
to: e <3
luke forgives us!! but he said if you hurt me he’ll genuinely beat you up 😅😅
to: you
tell him i have no intentions of hurting my favorite girl ;) ❤️
“you guys are so cringe! i’m gonna be sick, you guys can’t show any pda in front of me or else i’m gonna vomit” he exclaims, pretending to fake gag. “no promises lu” you chuckle, making him groan and put his head on the table.

“Bad day.”
Eddie Munson x female reader
summary: another bully fic because i’m lowkey obsessed.
warnings: bully eddie, crying, language, requested by @somethingvicked
Tumblr media
He pulled her hair, pinched her arm and kicked at her feet, threw her papers in the air and put super glue on her locker combination. He did everything to get her to play back. They played a game, a mean one, one that he looked forward to everyday. It was his only motivation to get up and go to school, really, all because he could pick on you.
He was in denial with his feelings for you. Everyone but him knew that he was smitten with you, but he was simply too cruel with you for you to realize his intentions.
It must had been a bad day, he realized, because you just weren’t playing back and it was pissing him off.
“Yo, Gar’,” Eddie snapped his fingers in his friends face, getting his attention. “You notice anything with L/n? She’s been acting weird today.”
Gareth chuckled, giving dustin a look before he tried to be serious with Eddie. “Who? Your girlfriend? I don’t know, Ed, you tell me.”
He rolled his eyes and payed no mind to him, used to him and everyone else’s jokes they made about the two of you.
“She’s actin’ weird.” He munched on a pretzel, shaking his head.
Eddie had been picking on you since the eighth grade when you’d moved there from California. His friends had asked many times if he’d simply developed a crush on you, to which he always gagged and said you were the ugly duckling of hawkins high.
He saw you across the cafeteria in your own world, sitting amongst your friends and picking at your food.
“Look at her!” He snapped, making everyone jump. “Look at the pathetic way she’s picking at her food! It’s disgusting!”
“Oh, my god,” Mike groaned. “Eddie, maybe she doesn’t want to mess around with you today, ever think about that?”
“Oh come on, don’t be ridiculous,” He scoffed. “She loves the attention. That’s the type of girl she is.”
He shook his head in disbelief and stared at you, crossing his arms in anger. Truth was, deep deep down, he was worried about you. Worried that something had happened. He knew Jason Carver was hitting on you, maybe he’d bothered you today? The idea made his blood boil. You’d had the nerve to ask him why he hated Jason so much, just because he liked to flirt with you. He’d pulled your pigtail so hard you nearly cried.
He decided to take matters into his own hands.
“Oh, boy, there he goes.” Dustin widened his eyes as Eddie stood up and marched over to the your side of the cafeteria,
He plopped down beside you, gaining weird looks from your friends. “Afternoon, ladies,” He winked at them.
You looked up in surprise. “Eddie?” You said in confusion. “What do you want?”
He smirked, lifting his leg to place in your lap. “What did you bring me today? Anything good?” He gestured to your lunchbox.
Your lips twitched down. “Eddie, not today, please.”
He yanked your lunchbox over to him, rivaling through it as he picked out a bag of chips. “I don’t like these kind, but it’ll do, I guess.”
“Good.” You huffed, shoving his leg off you. “Now, please, leave me alone.”
He couldn’t stand you. He thought you were annoying and agitating. Everytime you talked his skin crawled and his ears rang. He thought you were beautiful.
“Hey,” He pulled your ear, making you whine. “What’s up with the fuckin’ attitude today, huh?” He snapped, not caring that he was giving a show to your friends. “You’re acting like a real brat, you know?”
“Eddie, just leave me alone!” You pleaded, finally looking over to him with big eyes, watering eyes.
“No,” He banged his fist. “Tell me why-”
“Fuck you!” You snapped, slamming your lunchbox into his chest as you got up from your seat, the cafeteria dead as everyone watched you leave the room, slamming the door on the way out, leaving a loud echo in your trail.
Eddie groaned loudly in frustration, following you out the door.
“Hey!” He called after you down the hall. “Don’t walk away from me!”
“Fuck you, Eddie!” You turned, eyes bright with tears that made him stop in his tracks. “Stop fucking following me!”
“Don’t talk to me like that.” He said sternly, heavy boots taking long strides to you. “You watch your damn tone, you hear?”
“Why are you so obsessed with me?” You said incredulously.
“I’m not.” He denied in disgust, squinting his eyes. “I think you’re disgusting. I don’t know why I even give you the time of day.”
“Then why do you!” You nearly screamed, tears spilling down your face now. “Why do you torment me every day! I’m sick of it!”
No, you weren’t. You were obsessed with Eddie just as much as he was with you, but you were at your wits end with school and your home life, it all came crashing down. Eddie was just at the receiving end.
“Because you’re a spoiled little brat that needs put in her place.” He spat.
You both panted and huffed, tears falling down your face as you sniffled. Eddie watched you for almost two minutes until he finally sighed.
“Why are you so upset?” He gave in.
You hiccuped, looking up into his eyes. “Bad day.”
He nodded, licking his lips. “Well, don’t take it out on me. I’ll give you your space.”
With that, he turned on his heal and left, leaving you a crying mess.

Rockstar!Eddie x assistant/manager!reader who likes Eddie, because unlike some other rockers, he minds his p's and q's, doesn't run off to god knows where with God knows who at all hours of the night, isn't overly demanding, but the damn boy jist won't let them do their job!
he wants to follow assistant!reader around like a puppy even when they're trying to tell him no! you've got rehearsal and I have to go do xyz! Or trying to go out on a date and assistant reader is like, if I want my salary, I have to abide by the contract that says I can't get involved with the contract and Eddie's trying to use his Bambi eyes like 🥺🥺 but what if we talked about the music? Isn't that still contract abiding? Just, you know, wear something nice and I'll pick you up from your room at 8. And they're like 🙄 you're going to get me in trouble, but Eddie doesn't mind them threatening his ass, because he'll pay their salary out of pocket and honestly, a person in charge turns him on (which is why he keeps pestering so assistant!reader can keep telling him off)
Tumblr media
verrrryyyyyy this!!!??
assistant!reader who is totally neurotic/anal about everything, like perhaps seek an OCD diagnosis bestie (but it’s 1990 and no one has time for that!!)
you get hired to drag their asses to places on time but also bc you graduated top of your communications class and can get them into any building anywhere. you and eddie have a whole “do you even know who you’re TALKING TO” routine that you’ve perfected over the years.
It literally took him months to wear you down into not calling him Mr. Munson anymore. you were trying to be PROFESSIONAL while also tamping down your massive crush on Eddie.
it’s a sitch of eddie fell first and loudly but you fell… near-silently. Over the course of two 30-state tours. Bc he’s your CLIENT. You CANT do anything about your little crush. Even IF he flirts with you like it’s his job. Even IF you accidentally walked in on him changing one time and all he did was grin wolfishly at you and asked if you liked what you saw.
morning pre-show meetings w the whole team where the band is half asleep from drunken escapades the night previous but they all show up 9am (mostly) sharp bc they knew Eddie promised to flay them alive if they didn’t make your meeting.
and he’s sitting at the head of the conference room table, boots staggered on the ground, all dark denim and black leather, smoking a cigarette with his morning coffee, looking like he wants to eat you up as you pointedly ignore him so you can get through your little whiteboard spiel
and when you cap the dry erase pen and turn on your heel all efficient to the assembled team chirping “Okay, any comments or questions?” Eddie is raising two fingers in the air casually. And when you call on him with an apprehensive “Yes, Eddie?” (bc you’re expecting pushback on the schedule you’d just painstakingly outlined) he throws you for a loop when he instead says “You’re looking very pretty today, angel 🙂”
Leaving you sputtering, grabbing at some random papers on the table to shakily stack- “Any other comments or questions?”- immediately followed by Eddie raising his hand again, so you tack on “About the schedule? 🙄” and his hand goes down.
and as the marketing head takes over you can FEEL Eddie grinning at you from the corner of your eye and you’re really not trying to give him the satisfaction of your attention but it’s getting harder to deny his charms w each passing day 🫠🫠🫠

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
You laid down on Eddie's bed, resting your head on Eddie's chest while watching a horror movie.
"Baby, I hate to tell you this, but this movie sucks." You admit as you sit up from his chest. He gasped deeply and held a hand to his heart dramatically. "What do you mean? This movie's great!" He tries to add a rebuttal as he sits up, pressing his back to the headboard. "Scary movies are supposed to keep you awake and cautious, and I'm over here falling asleep." You reply with a smug smile. "Maybe it's just cause you're boring." He jokingly smiles to you. You gasp dramatically, just like he did before. "How could you?" You jokingly ask, a large smile spread across your face.
He smiled before reaching over and grabbing either side of your waist and pulling you close to him. Laughs emitted your mouth as he wrapped his arms around your side as he pressed small kisses on your neck.
Then, you heard the landline start to ring. "I'll get it." You sigh as you begin to pull away from him and he whines loudly. You jumped off the bed and walked toward the phone on the wall, hearing Eddie groan as he fell back onto his bed. "Hello?" You ask as you pick up the phone and hold it to your ear. "Hey (Y/N)." You hear another voice say on the other line. "Harrington?" You say loudly as Eddie pops his head out from your guy's room. "What's up?" You ask as you see Eddie walk out from your bedroom and sits down on the couch in the living room and turns on the TV there. "So, I need a favor." He asks bluntly. "Really? Now?" You asked, as you laid your head back against the wall.
"Yes now, listen, I've got a date tonight and I need to be there by 8." He said, looking at his watch on his free hand. "And what does that have to do with me?" You asked, your eyebrows furrowing together. "Oh my god." He mutters under his breath as he pressed his forehead against his wrist lying against the wall. "Listen, these kids are here and I am done being the goddamn babysitter, okay?" He speaks quickly, you couldn't see him but you knew that he was speaking with his hands. "What are you talking about Dustin?" You questioned.
"Yes! But it's not just him, it's all the other ones too. They're playing that dumb Dungeons & Demons game." He explained.
"Dragons, Steve." You corrected him.
"Whatever." He complained, dragging out the word. "Listen, these kids need to be monitored, I don't trust them alone." He says. "They're 15, Steve, they're not toddlers." You say, scornful. "Yeah? Well I'm not gonna leave them alone at my house, just waiting to break something!" He says, annoyance laced in his voice. "Why are they at your house?" You said, your volume getting higher and moving your hand as you speak. This caused Eddie to look up at you, wondering if you were actually angry or not.
"I don't know! I thought it was just Henderson at first, then they all came rushing in like mice! They said all their parents wouldn't let them play st their house or something, and it was Henderson's great idea to bring them here." He explained, you could almost laugh wondering what his facial expressions looked like. "Y'know Steve, it says a lot about you that you can't handle a couple of 15 year olds." You smirked as you shook your head.
"You owe me, alright? You wouldn't have that job at Family Video if it weren't for me, and you said you'd make it up to me, remember?" He said, pointing his finger up even though you couldn't see him on the other line. "Oh my god, did you really have to bring that up?" You groan as you pressed your forehead against the wall. "C'mon (Y/N)." He added on. You groaned as you looked up at the ceiling. "Ugh, fine, I'll be there." You give in finally. "Yes! Yes, thank you (Y/N), seriously." He said, almost literally jumping from excitement. "Yeah, yeah, thank me when I get there." You finished as you put the phone back on the wall.
"Soo, what was all that about?" Eddie asks curiously as he stands up from the couch. "Steve wants me to watch the kids while he goes on a date." You tell him, your lips pressing into a tight smile. "What like, Henderson and Wheeler? Those kids?" He asks with his arms crossed and a curious smile on his face. "Yep." You replied with a chuckle. "Well why don't I just go with you? I'll keep you company." He says with a smug smile on his face as he lays his hands on your hips. He bit his bottom lip before reaching down his lips to press soft kisses to the crook in your neck. "C'mon Eddie." You chuckled as you slowly pushed him away. "Fine, fine, I won't do anything but I'm still going with you." He adds, tilting his head as he spoke to you. "Okay." You smiled.
You sighed as you closed the door to the van. You stepped out in front of Steve's large house and made your way to his door, Eddie trailing behind you. You knocked on the door before Steve opened it to you. "Finally." He sarcastically said as he gestured towards you. "Hey, at least we showed up." You replied. "You brought him too?" He rhetorically asked, gesturing towards Eddie standing next to you. "Listen, we are a package deal Harrington, wherever they go, I go." Eddie smirks as he points to you and then back at himself. Steve was about to open his mouth to say something but just put a hand to his forehead before shaking his head. "Y'know what? I don't care, but if I come home and the place is a mess, you are in deep shit (L/N)." He says, pointing a finger at you, but you just push past him and walk inside. "Relax Harrington, I'm a damn good babysitter." You jokingly say to him, holding your hands up. Eddie chuckles at your statement and Steve just sighs. "I'll be back in a couple hours." He says, holding his hand around the door knob. "Alright, have fun!" You say in a singing voice before he closes the door and leaves. "What a worry wart." You joke as Eddie laughs in response.
"Children!" You call out, dramatically cupping your hands around your mouth as you walked into the living room and see Dustin, Lucas, Mike, and to your surprise, Erica, sitting at the dining table playing D&D. "(Y/N)!" Dustin calls out as he stands up from his seat and rushes over to give you a hug. "Hey Henderson." You smile as he pulls away and goes to hug Eddie. You say hello to the rest of the kids and look around the table at their game. "It's great that you're here Eddie, now we can have a Dungeon Master that's actually good." Mike says as Lucas shoots his head over with an offended look on his face. "Dude! You said I was doing good!" He spoke as Mike stuttered, trying to find words to defend himself. "No, No, you were it's just... Eddie's better." He says as Lucas shakes his head.
"No, young warriors, the Master is not playing tonight." Eddie retorted, holding his hand up. He could hear their whines and groans of disappointment as well as them trying to persuade him to reconsider. "No, no, no, boys― and Lady Applejack, this Dungeon Master's only mission right now is to take care of my lovely, partner here." He smiles as he reaches his arms around your waist and press kisses to your neck from behind you. "Eddie." You laughed as you heard the kids groan in disgust and turning their eyes away from you and Eddie. Eddie pulls his lips away from your neck and rests his head on your neck, his arms still securely around your waist.
About an hour had passed, and you were sitting on the couch with Eddie at your side as you watched TV. You heard the kids continuing their journey in D&D, turning your head every time you heard something interesting happen. Eddie shifted his body slightly and put his forearm on the top of the couch and his cheek on his palm, you could feel his eyes burning into you. "What?" You finally asked as you turned to face him. "Nothing." He said, shaking his head. "Just― admiring my favorite thing in the world." He added with a shit-eating grin on his face. You shook your head, looking down at the seat of the couch. He reaches his hand down to your chin and raises up your head as he leans in to press his lips against yours. You hummed against his lips as he pressed further, lying his hands softly on your stomach. You reached your hand up to lie on his cheek, his lips moving along with yours. His hands had reached underneath your shirt and laid on your stomach. The coldness of his rings sends a shiver through your body, causing a smirk to form on his lips.
"Jesus guys, get a room!" Eddie pulls away and looks up at Dustin, who had just yelled from across the room. You pulled away from Eddie and sat up straight on the couch, embarrassment running through your body. "Oh trust me, that would not be fun for you Henderson, there would be sounds you would never recover from hearing." He says with a smug smile spread across his face and all of the kids faces fill with disgust as they all yell.
"Gross dude!" Lucas yells.
"That's disgusting, Eddie!" Dustin yells as he shakes his head.
Eddie laughs as he looks back at you, covering your face with both hands in embarrassment. He grabs ahold of both your hands and pulls them away from your face, revealing an embarrassed smile on your lips. "Oh my god, Eddie." You said quietly, and all he does is laugh in response.

The Animal In Me Loves the Human In You (BuckTommy Omegaverse)
That's such a bad title but I suck at titles. Also sorry for writing Buck and Tommy so OOC
Summary: In which, Tommy gets hurt and Buck goes feral
***
Feral alphas were sadly not a rare occurrence in their line of work. Every month, they came across a case of an alpha going feral, and then they would have to subdue the alpha and make sure they were taken to the nearest alpha care unit. Sometimes Buck and his team were there on time to stop the alpha from hurting anyone but other times, they were as lucky. It both scared and saddened Buck to see other alphas in that state. To think that he is also one bad day away from becoming them terrifies him but to see them not realize the damage they have done until it's too late saddens him too.
Lately, it has become commonplace for alphas to go feral and no one knows why that is. Buck figured there was something in the water. The same water he drank. Shit.
"Tommy! Hey!"
Eddie's voice brought Buck out of his thoughts and all his fears and sadness disappeared when he saw his omega, Tommy.
"Hey, fellas!" Tommy greeted them and his eyes shined when they landed on Buck. "How's it going?"
"What are you doing here?" Buck asked surprised. He resisted the urge to reach out to his omega and pull him in for a hug. But they were working, it wouldn't be right.
"Oh, Lucy and I are here to pick up your patient and transport him," Tommy replied.
"Yeah, I called them," Bobby chimed in. "There are no spaces at the local alpha unit so Jeremy will need to be transported to a facility in Santa Monica."
Buck subtly moved to stand next to Tommy and let their shoulders brush against each other. If he couldn't touch his omega right now then this would have to do.
"Are you okay?" Tommy asked once Lucy started talking to everyone. "I know these cases aren't easy on you."
"Nah, I'm good," Buck replied and smiled at him. "Especially now that you're here."
"You're such a sap," Tommy teased and rolled his eyes. "So what do you want for dinner tonight?"
"Y-"
"I am not on the menu," Tommy quickly cut him off and smirked.
"Well, that sucks. If my favorite dish isn't on the menu then how am I supposed to eat?" Buck pouted at him.
"You'll live," Tommy chuckled, shaking his head. "Anyway, we should get going."
"Do you have to? Can't you just stay a little while and watch me be heroic?" Buck pouted at him again.
"If you two are done flirting, can we transport the patient now?" Lucy cut in.
Tommy cleared his throat and nodded. Buck noticed the slight tint of red on his cheeks.
Buck watched Tommy go, and his heart clenched. He felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Eddie giving him a knowing look. "You'll see him later tonight."
"I know, but I just miss him when he's not here with me. I told him to join us instead but he doesn't want to. Says he enjoys flying too much," Buck explained and remorsefully looked at his omega again.
"Come on, let's go. Our job here is done," Bobby told them.
Just as they turned around to leave, Buck heard a scream. He looked back to see Tommy and Lucy trying to hold the feral alpha down. The feral alpha grabbed Tommy's throat and Buck saw red. He growled and ran towards them.
Buck grabbed the other alpha's arm and tried to pull it off Tommy, who was struggling to breathe. When that didn't work, he growled loudly and flashed his eyes at the other alpha, forcing him to cower and let go of Tommy.
Buck kept snarling at him. All he could think was how this alpha tried to hurt his omega. The alpha in him took over and he grabbed the alpha's throat and squeezed instead.
"Buck!" Someone yelled and soon there were hands, trying to pull him away, but Buck didn't budge. He kept squeezing.
"BUCK!" Bobby growled and let his alpha through, flashing his gold eyes at him.
Buck let go of the alpha immediately and backed off, lowering his eyes at the alpha in charge. He immediately went to Tommy's side and checked on him.
"I'm okay, I'm okay," Tommy assured him and tried to smile but failed.
Buck frowned and checked his neck to see bruises there. He immediately wanted to kill the feral alpha again, but by now Hen and Chimney had subdued him and Bobby was keeping himself in between the feral alpha and Buck.
Everything was a blur after that. His entire focus was only on Tommy. He stayed close to his side as Hen looked at him.
"I'm okay," Tommy tried telling Hen but a low growl rumbled in Buck's throat. "Don't you growl at me, Evan," Tommy said, sounding more amused than pissed off.
"The damage isn't too bad," Hen told them. She said something else after that Buck heard nothing. His sole focus was on Tommy.
"Let's go. I'm taking you home," Buck told Tommy.
"We have work to do, Evan. We can't go home," Tommy gently told him.
"I don't care. I am taking you home where I can keep you safe," Buck told him again.
Suddenly someone grabbed Buck's arm and forced him to turn around. "Buck! What the hell were you people doing when that feral alpha attacked my girlfriend?!"
It was Taylor. Buck looked at her hand on his arm and then back at her.
"Get your hand off me before I break it," Buck warned the other alpha.
"You don't scare me, Buck!" Taylor scoffed at him. "You're a pathetic excuse for an alpha. You can't even protect your own omega! How could I possibly expect you to protect mine?"
"Taylor, stop," Lucy tried pulling her alpha back but it was too late.
Buck saw red once again and his alpha took over. The next thing he knew, he lunged at Taylor.
Someone shouted his name and then people were trying to hold him back. But Buck kept growling and snarling, and he only saw Taylor, having a deep urge to kill her.
Buck's only mission at that moment was to kill Taylor and the feral alpha who hurt his omega.
But he was being forced to lie down and was strapped to the gurney as he thrashed about, trying to break free.
"No, no, no, wait! Lemme talk to him before you give him that."
Buck heard Tommy's voice and then his face came into view. He reached out to touch Buck and Buck snarled at him.
"Evan, baby, hey, it's me. Your omega. Your Tommy. You remember me, right?"
How could Buck ever forget him? Buck stopped snarling and just blinked at him instead.
"Yeah, of course you remember me." Tommy smiled at him and Buck suddenly felt a lot calmer.
"Tommy?" His voice sounded small and pathetic to himself.
"Yeah, baby, it's me. I know you were just trying to protect me and I love you for that," Tommy told him in a gentle voice.
Buck's chest stopped heaving and he struggled to push his alpha back. "I'm sorry," he said when he finally won.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. Everyone here understands that you were just looking out for me," Tommy assured him.
"How on Earth did you do that?" Buck heard Chimney ask. "Man, you just calmed down a feral alpha."
"He's not a feral alpha. He's my Evan," Tommy told him before leaning down to kiss Buck. Buck eagerly kissed him back and was freed from the restraints.
Buck sat up on the gurney and pulled Tommy close as he continued to kiss him, not caring who saw them.

Spies AU - Part 14
Part 1 Part 15 AO3
19th November 2015
The plan was simple.
As simple as a super fucking complicated plan could be.
Get the kids in on it, send them out to protect Eddie’s people, have Robin coordinate them all and as soon as Steve was given the signal that it was safe to proceed, he’d go in and put a bullet in Creel’s head.
At least, that was the farthest that both he and Eddie had gotten in the planning process before they got… distracted.
Neither of them could help it.
It was just so fucking nice to have a… a partner around in his space.
To get lost in kisses or have a body pressed up against his back while he made them something to eat. To sit in front of the television with something on that they both had agreed to watch, only to end up not watching it at all because they just couldn’t stop talking.
The only other person Steve had ever had such an easy time talking to for hours was Robin.
It was like he had never understood how two people could click so quickly before her.
Within, like, ten minutes of knowing each other they were sharing in-jokes and gossiping about their hometowns.
With Eddie it was similar.
Different but similar.
While they had known each other for a number of months now, they had barely had enough time to talk to one another without flirting up a storm or running.
Eddie was so easy to talk to. He was charming and weird and a little childish and sharp and while it was different to how he and Robin clicked, he and Eddie clicked just as well.
Steve honestly couldn’t wait for the day he could introduce the two of them and just stand back and watch, like it was going to be some tennis match, seeing them bounce off each other.
All of that was fantastic.
It was magical.
Steve was…
Steve was so fucking in love.
He figured there was no point in denying it to himself anymore.
He could feel it radiating out through every one of his cells.
He was in love with Eddie Munson and he was so fucking happy to be there.
He was pretty sure his lack of nerves about it came down to the fact that Eddie did very little to hide his own feelings.
Steve could sense it off of him that he felt the same.
They hadn’t said it to each other.
Despite how long they’d known each other already, they had only just had their first date.
If Steve could call an undercover mission to an enemy gala and then having to be snuck out by an enemy assassin that he was in love with a ‘date’, but he figured it qualified.
He couldn’t see a reason why it wouldn’t.
And then there was the sex.
Oh, holy hell, there was the sex.
Though Eddie had been well and truly worn out by Steve the night before, he was too sensitive and it would just be a little too far on the wrong side of painful to go at it exactly as they had, that didn’t mean they didn’t explore each other in the exact ways they had wanted to for the longest time.
But this time they could take things a little slower.
And they could switch it up.
After a conversation, when Eddie strapped him down to one of his dining chairs in much the same way he had back in July, Steve thought he was going to blow his load in record time.
But Eddie had no intentions of letting that happen.
Steve was forced to sit, with his arms tied behind his back, ankles tied down to the legs of the chair with his legs slightly spread while Eddie grinned down at him.
“Are you gonna answer my questions?” He asked, leaning down to plant a hand on either of Steve’s knees.
Steve was a lot less composed than he had been last time, when they had done this for real and so his response was less biting and more breathy than he had wanted it to be.
“Depends.” He exhaled, his hips twitching up. “Are you gonna answer mine?”
Eddie’s smile turned sharp, more of that dark and mysterious energy taking over him again, causing Steve’s heart to thump loudly in his chest and a dribble of precum to spill out, making its way down his cock before Eddie swiped it up with the barest of touches, using just the very tip of his tongue and Steve whined.
“You’re gonna be a handful, aren’t you sweetheart?”
Steve didn’t know how long he ended up being edged for. Light brushes of Eddie’s fingers and scant, fleeting moments in his mouth were all mixed together with biting and flirtatious words, leaving Steve a red-faced and desperate wreck who could barely string a sentence together.
He had the option to tap out if he needed to, of course he did. Both of them knew the rules but Steve had never had it quite like this before and though he was aching with the need to cum, he was going to keep going for as long as he could.
By the time Eddie finally took him the whole way down to the back of his throat in one go and sucked, Steve was at a razors edge and he came so hard he didn’t make a single sound, all of it caught in his throat while his entire body seized up, even his fucking lungs stopped working for a second.
Eddie was the sweetest in the aftermath as well, his hands were gentler than Steve ever thought possible for someone who killed so easily.
He untied the ropes around him with a soft touch, taking his time to slowly knead the muscles in his legs and arms, rubbing down his shoulders, getting the blood flowing again and keeping him cared for, whispering sweet words to him all the while, uncaring for the dampness seeping through his own pants.
After that they ate, they talked, they relaxed together, the both of them trying to ignore the looming shadow of time ticking down until the inevitable moment that Eddie had to go.
They lingered by Steve’s front door for nearly a half an hour.
Every time they let go of one another, it only lasted for a few seconds before they were inevitably drawn back, the both of them finding it much, much harder to say their goodbyes this time than it had ever been at any point in the past.
They had a plan to meet up at a different location in a couple of weeks.
Plenty of time for Steve to organise his mini-spies and send them out to do their parts.
Plenty of time for Eddie to work out Creel’s next movements and report back on where would be best for Steve to strike.
Plenty of time.
And then they would have all the time in the world.
It didn’t make it any easier.
Steve hated the idea of Eddie stepping foot back into that life again, even if it was just for a short time.
He was desperate to get him out, but they couldn’t do anything by halves.
It had to work.
So Eddie had to leave.
He had to go back to that life and pretend nothing had changed.
As much as Eddie hadn’t liked it when he’d said it, as much as he insisted that it wasn’t worth it, Steve swore to himself he’d get Eddie out if it killed him.

20th November 2015
Steve watched with a nervous air as the kids all piled into his apartment, gravitating towards their favourite spots around the room, on the couch or the armchairs like they always did whenever Steve had them over.
He had claimed it was just a usual hangout, some line he’d always give them to have them over but they all sobered up when he opened the door, his body language and expression telling them that this wasn’t their usual kind of hangout, this was something more serious.
Many pairs of eyes bounced from Steve to Robin who was standing next to him, her own face steely and determined, hoping that maybe she would be able to provide some more answers.
But Steve saw her shake her head subtly at them out of the corner of his eye, letting them know that he had to be the one to talk about this.
Steve stood there in silence for what was probably too long, trying to figure out just how to start. Dustin, Max, Lucas, Will, Mike and even El were all here, even though El was not an Agent, but where Max went, El went, only really separating when they absolutely had to and regardless, El was one of his kids. He’d been thinking about suggesting to Robin that she might work in an analyst's position at some point in the future.
As he looked around at all of them, he decided he’d have to start now, whether he’d found the right words or not, otherwise he’d never start at all. He walked forward, standing in front of the TV, facing all of them with his hands on his hips.
“I’m sending you out on a mission.”
“Together?” Lucas asked at the same time Mike said “All of us?” and Dustin frowned.
“We haven’t received any kind of info pack on a new mission.”
Steve held a hand up, both a little surprised and proud when the kids fell silent, recognising that this was more serious than arguing over the remote.
“Not exactly together. Same mission, different locations. Yes, all of you apart from Ellie, obviously. And The Agency hasn’t given you an info pack on this because The Agency doesn’t know about it. This is personal. This is something I’m asking you to do for me, not for them.”
He paused, waiting for questions or demands for more info or outright refusal, but none of it came.
“You can refuse.” He said, making sure they knew it was an option, though he really fucking hoped none of them would. If they did, keeping Eddie’s people safe had just gotten a lot more complicated. “This could go badly for all of us when The Agency finds out, because they will find out, I just hope it’s after we’ve done what we need to do. I don’t know how Hopper will react to this.”
“He trusts you, Steve.” El spoke softly but confidently, having been safehoused with Hopper while Brenner was being hunted down in the year between her escape and his execution.
They’d gotten very close and were still very close after all these years.
Steve felt the corner of his mouth pull up in a little grin despite his attempts to keep things serious. Hopper would probably scream at him until he was blue in the face once all of this was over but at least Steve wouldn’t be losing his head.
Probably.
“Why doesn’t The Agency know?” Dustin asked.
Steve looked at all of them individually, taking his time to read their faces, their posture, their nerves. Like he was expecting to, he found nothing. He knew he wouldn’t. There was no way one of the kids was the mole.
“We think it might be compromised.”
“It’s a spy agency.” Lucas was looking incredulous. “Doesn’t everyone always think it might be compromised?”
“No?” Mike answered, whipping his head around to stare at him. “Do you think that?”
Lucas looked surprised. “Do you not?”
Steve raised his hands again just as Dustin opened his mouth to interject and though he tore his eyes from Mike, he didn’t stay silent as he looked back up at Steve.
“And this potential mole or double agent or whoever is related to this mission you’re sending us on?”
Steve sighed. “You don’t have to do it-”
Max rolled her eyes. “Of course we’re going to do it.”
“Yeah, duh, of course we’re going to do it.” Dustin matched her with an exaggerated eye roll of his own. “But you wouldn’t be hiding this from The Agency if there wasn’t a reason to and it makes the most sense the mole and this secret mission would be related.”
“You’re right, they’re related.”
Dustin gave himself a little fistbump with a delighted grin on his face.
“What kind of mission is it?” Will asked..
“Protection.” Steve glanced around sighing to himself when he realised he’d forgotten to bring them out. “Ellie, there’s a stack of photos on my desk in my office, can you get them for me?”
El nodded, getting up and quietly slipping out of the room.
“There’s four people we think are being watched by the enemy, lying in wait for orders to harm or potentially kill them. I need you to eliminate that possibility.”
“So is it, like, spy versus spy?” Mike asked.
Steve nodded. “Something like that.”
“Do we get to leave America?” There was a little bit of hope in Will’s voice at the possibility of being able to see some more of the world on the job.
“Unfortunately not, bud.” He replied with a grimace. “Kinda the opposite. You’re going to be going to Bumfuck Nowhere Indiana-”
He was cut off by the sound of the photos scattering across the floor and he snapped his eyes up to find El standing stock still in the doorway, white faced and terrified, staring down at the photo clutched in her shaking hand.
“Steve,” she whispered to him and he was over to her in less than three strides, stepping through the other photos on the floor. “Who is this man?”
He looked down, blinking confused and worried because why was this particular photo freaking her out so much?
It was a photo of Wayne, taken through one of the windows of his trailer with a telephoto lens. He was relaxed back in his armchair, hooked up to his dialysis machine, laughing while his nurse Connie grinned at him, warm and easy, her hands over Wayne’s arm where the tubes had been inserted, checking.
There was nothing off about the photo, there were dozens more like it in the stack, video files and audio files on Steve’s computer showing their companionship. They had an ease between each other that told him they’d known each other for a long time. Probably since he first started his treatments. She might have been the first and only nurse he’d dealt with after all.
He looked back up at El’s face, she was staring at him with a kind of half scared, half determined intensity.
“This man,” she said, her voice steady despite the shaking of her hands, “is in grave danger.”
Steve felt his eyes widen, his heart kicking up in speed. How could she possibly know that just from this photo alone?
“The woman-” El swallowed and oh fuck. Was she dangerous? But how could El know her? “She’s… she was… Dr. Brenner…” She shook her head, taking a deep breath in.
It was so difficult for her to talk about her time before, before they got her out, when she was stuck in that place, Steve knew it, he’d seen the nightmares, the panic attacks, the terrors. He felt a small thread of white hot anger course through him at just the name of that man.
“Brenner’s dead, Elllie.” Steve muttered, putting a hand on her shoulder and stooping down to meet her eye. “I put the final bullet in him myself. And then a few more for good measure. I checked. I made sure. He’s dead.”
“I know.” She whispered back, with a small smile on her face. “I know. But he had… There were people working under him. His favourites. The ones he had to do different things for him and…” She tightened her fist around the photo again, crumpling it. “She was his most dangerous.”
“She..?” He looked back down, taking a big breath, trying to calm his racing heart, his racing mind. Most other people would have said El was mistaken. That she was misremembering or had gotten confused but there was no way. El didn’t forget faces. Ever. Especially after the shit she’d been through.
So Connie was an undercover agent of some kind? She must be. But she had apparently also worked for Brenner. And then Brenner’s whole operation had been taken down by Steve himself so there was nothing of it left.
Could she be working for Creel now?
Fuck, how would that have even happened? Did he seek her out? Was she another whispered name amongst the underworld, someone Creel wanted on his side? But then why was she stuck on guard duty, keeping an eye on Wayne?
A very close eye on Wayne.
A very close, very dangerous eye on a very vulnerable Wayne who could conceivably die quickly from some ‘unfortunate’ dialysis complication if she got the call.
Creel must have put her over Wayne because… because he knew that Wayne was the most important one of the four to Eddie.
So he put his best next to him, to watch over him, to keep Eddie in line.
And Eddie had no idea how much danger Wayne had truly been in this whole time.
Jesus Christ, okay.
“Connie Frazier. She was his…” El shook her head. “I don’t know what the word is. She did his big jobs for him, got people to obey, tracked them down or got them to talk… all that kind of stuff. Steve, every moment she’s with him he's in danger.”
“Fuck, okay. Okay. Well I had kinda guessed he was being watched but at least we know by who now-”
“Oh my god…”
He whipped around to find Max crouched amongst the photos, her face slack with shock before morphing into anger.
“What?” He asked, keeping a hand on El’s shoulder as they both moved closer to her.
“What do you mean, what?” She asked, her tone incredulous, her face angry, shoving the photo towards him. He could just make out Gareth’s impressive head of hair and the garage in the background while she shook it around in his face.
“That’s Billy.”
“What?!” He snatched the photo out of her hand, holding it up close to his face to examine it.
Holy shit.
He’d cut his hair and wasn’t covered in double denim like he usually was, but Jesus Christ that was him. Steve had never seen him in person, never met him, never fucking wanted to, but he’d seen his intake mugshot.
What the fuck was this guy doing out?
Max’s douchebag gangland brother, standing there in the flesh next to Gareth, in the same overalls, the same grease and dirt over his hands and up his arms, helping him with the finer movements he couldn’t quite manage anymore because of his hand.
Had Billy dropped the car on Gareth’s hand? Had he been the one to crush it? Make it look like an accident? He would have been there, he’d been at the garage just as long as Gareth had.
How could he have missed it? How could he have missed this? What the fuck else had he missed.
“Shit, okay.” He dropped to his knees, rifling through the photos, getting back to his feet when he had a few of Jeff and Grant sorted into his hands, holding them out to the rest of the kids. “Recognise anyone else here?”
The boys all looked at each other before taking a few into their hands, Robin looking over their shoulders.
“God damn it.” Will muttered, holding up a photo to Steve, pinched in between his thumb and forefinger.
It was Jeff, sitting in the staff room of the school with the [student teacher] at his side. It looked like they were in the middle of some good natured debate.
“That’s James Dante.” Will said, scowling.
“And this,” Mike turned his own photo around, the guy who owned the flower shop next to Grant’s studio was delivering a fresh bouquet like he did every morning, “is Troy Walsh.”
“Are we being targeted or something?” Dustin asked, glancing in between all the photos. “Why are they all related to people we’ve dealt with in the past?”
Robin shook her head. “No, I don’t think it’s that. There’s been some chatter over the last few years about this. Creel likes to have the best under his belt. Other crime lords and gang bosses bitching about the fact that anyone they do approach to come work for them has already been snatched up by him. Once one pillar falls, Brenner for example, he swoops in to take his people and with it he gains their power, their influence.”
“Then why does all this seem to be localised to us?” Mike asked. “And who are these people anyway? What have they done to piss Henry fucking Creel off so much?”
“Because,” Robin stepped around the kids to stand beside Steve who was having a little bit of trouble forming words at the moment, forming thoughts.
Eddie’s family was in so much danger, much more than they’d ever thought and he had no way to tell him, no way to let him know. Fuck, he had to do something. He had to get them out. This was no longer just about Eddie it was about them now too and his skin was practically crawling with the urge to jump into a fucking car or a plane or a god damned helicopter if it got him to them quick enough.
Robin’s hand slipped into his and he was brought back down, just a little bit, just enough to tune back in.
“The people you were all up against before you came to join The Agency were some of the best, or the worst depending on your point of view, in the country.” She continued. “That is why you are such successful Agents and why these guys are the guys watching over our targets. Because you are the best of the best and they are the worst of the worst.”
“Okay.” Mike crossed his arms, a furrow in his brow, thinking. “That makes sense, but again, what the fuck could these small town nobodies have done to piss Creel off?”
“They didn’t.” Steve said. “They didn’t do anything. They’re collateral. They’re being used to keep someone in line.”
“They’re being threatened?” Max asked, her face hard.
“Yeah. Their lives are on the line and they don’t even know it. This person… I’m trying to get him out from under Creel. But to do that we need to secure his people first. We need to remove the threat over them.”
“Who’s the person?”
Steve looked over at Robin who squeezed his hand and raised her eyebrows. “You’re gonna have to tell them eventually, babe.”
He sighed, looking out at all the kids' expectant faces. Fuck, he kept calling them kids. It was too easy to see them that way, the small thread of anxiety in his stomach at the thought of sending them out, but at the same time they’d been doing this for years. They were competent, they were skilled, they could do this but he didn’t think he’d ever be able to stop seeing them as their younger scared selves, like they had been when he’d pulled them out of their various situations.
“It’s Kas.” He said, feeling the deja vu taking over him, it felt like he’d been through this a hundred times before already.
Mike snorted, rolling his eyes. “Yeah, sure. Okay.” He looked at Robin, expecting her to be sharing some kind of secret smile with Steve about the joke, or giving it away by trying to keep her face straight but when he found none of that, just agreement in her expression, he faltered.
“Wait, seriously?”
“Super-seriously.” She answered.
“Like… like Kas? The Bloodyhanded?” Dustin’s eyes were bugging out of his head.
“Yep.” Steve nodded. “The Bloodyhanded, the Shadow of Hawkins, the Demon of Dresden all of them. That Kas.”
“You can’t be fucking serious.” Lucas shook his head in disbelief. “Kas is like a… he’s like a fucking ghost story-”
“That’s another of his names, actually. The Ghost.” Steve interjected but Lucas barrelled on.
“He’s real? And he wants to leave? Are you sure… like…” Lucas ran a frustrated hand over his hair, “Couldn’t he take care of this himself? He’s Kas. How do you know you’re not being, like… I don’t know how to say it without sounding like an ass.”
Steve gave him a small smile. He understood. He’d be worried in the same way about the kids or Robin if they came to him with this information but he wasn’t quite sure how to make them all believe he wasn’t being tricked.
“I get it, man. I do. But this is for real. You’re just gonna have to trust me here. These,” he shook the photos in his hand and gestured to the photos in the kids hands, “are Kas’ people. They’re being used to keep him under Creel’s power. We need to secure them, take out the guys watching them before I can strike at Creel.”
“Jesus Christ.” Max threw her arms out in frustration, pinning Steve under her glare. “You don’t do anything by half measures, do you?”
She was worried about him, worried he was getting in too deep, he could tell. And maybe he had. Maybe this was a suicide mission and he would end up dead by the end of it, but as he said to Eddie, it would be worth it if it freed him.
“No, I don’t. And I’m gonna be honest, finding out who has been watching over Kas’ people has changed things. I understand if none of you wanted to-”
“It changes nothing, Steve.” Max growled. “We’re still going in. Because there’s no way you’ll let this go and if we refuse you’ll just try and do it yourself and definitely get yourself killed. We’re not little kids anymore. We can handle it.”
He looked around at the rest of the kids, all of them nodding, all of them determined. God, Steve loved them so much.
“Fuck, okay. Let’s get into it, then.”

4th December 2015
Steve’s leg bounced up and down, rapid and constant as he kept his eyes peeled, gazing around the park.
His nerves were so frayed, his anxiety was spiking and it was only getting worse as the hours passed.
He was freezing his ass off here, the metal bench was painfully cold under him, despite they layers he was wearing but in all honesty he was having difficulty paying attention to the temperature because his mind was fucking spiralling.
He didn’t dare move from his spot.
Even as the daylight began to wane, he didn’t dare fucking move.
He was probably conspicuous as hell.
A lone man sitting nervously on an icy park bench for hours, surrounded by dog walkers and joggers and kids in the playground and skateboarders, never once moving from his perch.
But he couldn’t move until he was sure.
Because Eddie was late.
Hours late.
Steve was desperate to see him.
He needed to update him on everything because so much had happened and Eddie hadn’t been in contact.
Not only had they discovered who exactly was watching over Wayne, Gareth, Jeff and Grant, but the kids had been there for about a week now, observing from afar, learning their schedules, finding their openings to take them out.
All they needed was the go ahead.
But to do that, Steve needed to see Eddie., needed to tell him, needed to talk it out.
And Eddie wasn’t showing.
God, what had happened to him? Was he okay? What if it was worse than last time?
Or what if Eddie wasn’t battered and bruised and broken, coming to him for safety? What if Eddie never turned up?
What if he was locked away somewhere in some deep dark dungeon of Creel’s? Steve would go and get him out, of course. He’d destroy everything in his path to get Eddie back, to keep him safe, to have him here and whole and free.
But what if he wasn’t locked away somewhere?
What if he was out there somewhere, lying dead in the cold? What if he had died on some mission Creel had sent him out on? What if he had been dead for days now? What if Creel killed him?
And Steve would never know.
He’d never know.
He’d spend the rest of his life not knowing.
No, he refused to let it be that, it couldn’t be that.
There was no way.
Creel had to have him somewhere. Or he got caught up in a mission somewhere. That had to be the reason.
There was no way Eddie had just… not shown.
There had to be a reason.
And Steve was going to find it out.
He stood, groaning to himself, feeling the painful cold stiffness in his hips and knees, rubbing his hands together to try and get some warmth back into them.
He was determined, he needed to get back home, back to his office. He needed to track Creel down, track Eddie down.
He needed to find out what the fuck was going on.
“Birdie.” Steve said, shouldering his way into his apartment building and flipping the switch on his communicator.
“How did it go?” Robin asked, “I would have expected you to be more out of breath after all the kissing or whatever it was you got up to in a public park.”
“He didn’t show.”
“Oh, Evie.” Robin’s voice was sympathetic, hurt for him but he wasn’t hurt.
He wasn’t upset that Eddie hadn’t shown.
He was fucking worried.
“Something has to be wrong.” He said, stepping into the elevator and jabbing a finger into the button for his floor. “He wouldn’t just not show up.”
Robin was silent for a little bit, he could almost hear her work things out in her head, trying to decide if he was making excuses for someone who didn’t deserve it or if he knew what the fuck he was talking about.
“Okay.” She said, quietly but firmly.
She always had such confidence in him.
“I need to find out what it was. If he’s caught up somewhere on a mission, that’s fine, I can’t fault him for it.” He shook his head as he stepped out of the elevator, making his way towards his apartment. “But if something has happened to him… then I need to find him.”
“Evie, have you thought this through. I mean, I love you, you know that, but if the case is that he’s been locked away somewhere then this could be super fucking dangerous and-”
“I know, Birdie, I know.” Steve ran a frustrated hand through his hair, placing his hand down on his front door handle and pushing his way into his apartment when the one lock clicked open. “But I can’t leave him out there. I won’t. I promised him I’d get him out-”
“I get that, Evie-”
“Steve.”
Both he and Robin stopped talking at the sound of a third voice coming from Steve’s couch, reverberating around the apartment like a gunshot.
He froze in his tracks, taken completely off guard, like a deer in the road.
He knew that voice, he knew that figure, he knew that hair.
Eddie was here.
But something was wrong.
He was… It was… Steve couldn’t remember the last time Eddie had used his name. He couldn’t remember the last time Eddie had called him anything other than sweetheart.
Eddie turned his head to look at him and it was different from all the other times before.
Different from when he had glared at him from across his bed, feeling betrayed by the discovery of those photos.
Different from when he had looked at him with so much love and adoration the last time they had seen each other.
Eddie was looking at him and his face was blank.
There wasn’t a hint of emotion there.
No anger, no condescension, no mocking pout, no care, no love. He was completely closed off.
Steve blinked, at loss for words, unable to make anything come out.
Eddie stood, turning his body towards him and Steve’s eyes instinctively flicked down.
He was holding a gun, loose and casual in his hand but even from this distance Steve could see the safety was off.
What… What was happening right now?
Eddie followed his eyeline down, looking at the gun like he had only been vaguely aware of it up until then.
“Evie, what’s happening?” Robin asked, her voice was a little panicked. His vitals were probably lighting up her computer screen like a Christmas tree in his panic and confusion.
“Oh. Yeah.” Eddie said, lifting the gun to look at it a little closer.
His voice was completely flat. There was no emotion in it whatsoever.
He looked at Steve and his eyes were dead. There was no warmth there. No fire, none of that beautiful spark of cheeky, mischievous energy.
He was like a fucking zombie. Just empty, cold, closed off. He’d locked every bit of emotion in his body down, shuttered it away.
His eyes were sunken in, the purpling bruises underneath telling Steve of numerous sleepless nights before today.
Steve took a step closer to him, waiting to wrap him up in his arms, hold him close, comfort him, make it all better.
But he had barely taken that step when Eddie pointed the gun at him.
Steady.
Sure.
Professional.
Steve shook his head, more confused than anything.
Eddie wouldn’t hurt him.
Eddie would never hurt him.
“What the hell is going on?” He asked, feeling his heart in his throat.
“This is how it ends, Steve.” Eddie said monotone, the gun pointed directly at Steve’s chest. “This is always how it was going to end for us. I’m not leaving Creel’s syndicate. It was a fun idea, but unrealistic.”
“Evie. Evie, do something please. Does he have a weapon? Evie, please don’t let yourself be killed like this. I can’t listen to you be killed like this.” Robin begged him over the communicator, miles away, her voice cracking.
Steve shook his head, trying to figure everything out.
He just needed a moment.
He just needed to think.
He needed to find a way to get them out of this situation, whatever was going on.
He looked back up, right into Eddie’s eyes and took that step closer, so close that the muzzle of the gun was hovering less than an inch away from him.
“Baby.”
There it is.
Something in Eddie’s bottom lip twitched. Gone in a flash but Steve had seen it.
“Not now!” Robin snapped, pissed off and unsure and not directed at Steve. “Hey! What the fuck- get off me!”
There was the sound of a struggle before a clatter told him her headset had been dropped down to the desk.
“Birdie?!” Steve felt his eyes widen in panic, and he would have brought his hand up to his ear to try and press his communicator closer, but Eddie’s grip on the gun tightened, like he thought Steve might be moving to grab a weapon, so he froze, he stopped moving despite the panic.
“Baby, what is going on?” Steve practically shrieked desperately while Eddie swallowed, like there was something harsh in his throat, though his eyes stayed empty.
“It was fun while it lasted, Steve.” He said, his voice shaking a little, his hand starting to shake too. “I’m sorry it had to end like this.”
Steve could only blink at him in disbelief, finally making a decision.
He moved closer, pressing his sternum into the muzzle of the gun.
“You won’t hurt me, baby.”
Then Steve closed his eyes, deciding to put his complete trust in the man he loved and make it obvious that was what he was doing.
The last thing he saw before he did was the tremble of Eddie’s bottom lip and the pain breaking clear as day into his beautiful eyes.
There was silence in the apartment for a moment, but just for a moment until Eddie pulled the trigger and the sound of a gunshot cracked through the air.

4th December 2015
Miles away, in a mansion with gold veined marble floors and stolen ancient Grecian statues, a man leaned back in his office chair. His fingers tightened at the lip of the opulent mahogany wood desk as satisfaction curled itself around his shoulders, the zing of the control he oh so loved to have lighting his brain up with joy.
A wide grin was splitting his face, revelling in the pain he’d just caused, nearly making him giddy.
He stared at the flatlined vitals of the Agent on his screen. No doubt his analyst was screaming along with them.
Delicious.
He lamented the fact that he couldn’t have been there in person but a hacked communicator was the best he could do under the circumstances he’d been given.
The Agency was good.
They had gotten their hands on it in July, and had only managed to break through recently.
Still.
It had allowed him to overhear the slight shake of his assassin's voice as he was forced to learn his place, relearn who he belonged to.
Heartbreak was always such a fantastic cocktail.
Creel leaned forward again, dragging a finger across Agent Harrington’s flat heart rate on screen.
“Good boy.” He hummed to himself.

Head Over Feet- Steve x Fem!Reader Part 2
Tumblr media
Summary: After sleeping with Steve, you find out the truth of why he rejected you but are you able to rebuild your relationship? Words: 5.5k Warning: Angst, SMUT (18+, minors dni), oral (m and f recieving)
Part 1
When you finally made it to Eddie’s trailer you were completely soaked. It had started raining about 5 minutes into your walk and you had forgotten your jacket at Steve’s. You knocked on the door and heard some shuffling about inside before the door was thrown open.
‘Y/N, do you know what time it is? It’s way too- woah are you okay?’ Eddie said looking at you and seeing the tears running down your face.
‘No.’ You shook your head trying to stave off a fresh wave of tears from falling.
‘Come in, Jesus you’re freezing.’ Eddie said placing his hand on your arm. ‘Right, I’ll get you a change of clothes and you can jump in the shower. Are you hungry?’
‘Yeah, I am a little hungry.’ You mumble wrapping your arms around yourself as you follow Eddie through to his room.
‘Okay, well I don’t really have anything to eat so I’ll head out and grab something while your showering.’ Eddie handed you a change of clothes and a towel. You thanked him and walked into the bathroom, turning on the shower. You stripped off your wet clothes and climbed in. You had been able to keep some sort of control while walking to Eddie’s but now you were alone you let it all out. You sat on the floor of the shower as the water cascaded over you, sobbing loudly. You couldn’t believe you’d been so stupid. You had been there, watching Steve and Nancy flirt while the group of you fought for your life. And yet you’d fallen for him anyway and ended up sleeping with him as if it had actually meant anything. You eventually stopped crying for long enough to probably shower, making sure to scrub all traces of Steve off you completely. You climbed out of the shower, pulling on the sweatpants and band shirt Eddie gave you. You looked in the mirror at your red puffy eyes, as you dried your hair with the towel. You eventually sighed and left the bathroom, just as Eddie entered the trailer with a bag of food.
‘Hope you’re in the mood for eggs and bacon because that’s what I bought.’ He said grabbing a pan out of one of the cupboards.
‘Yeah, that’s fine.’ You reply flopping down on the couch.
‘Okay well, you going to tell me what happened?’ Eddie had his back faced to you as he cooked up food for you. You stayed silent for a few moments.
‘I slept with Steve.’ You finally said sighing as you spoke.
‘Oh, so you finally admitted you're into him.’
‘Umm, what’s that supposed to mean?’ You ask. How did Eddie know you were into Steve? You didn’t even know you were into Steve until a few days ago.
‘You’re always so touchy with him. I mean it’s obvious. I’m just surprised you didn’t realise. Anyway, why are you so upset?’
‘Because this morning I woke up alone and when I went downstairs, Nancy Wheeler was there and then after he told me it was a mistake.’ You sighed, trying not to start crying again.
‘I’m going to fucking kill him.’ Eddie said as he started plating up your food. ‘What did you say in response?’
‘I agreed. I mean what the hell else was I meant to say, ‘thanks for taking my virginity and then breaking my heart’.’ You shrug.
‘Yeah, I guess. Oh god, you’re going to fucking kill me.’ Eddie groaned.
‘What did you do?’ You say glaring at him.
‘Before I tell you remember I didn’t know all this. So anyway, I stopped at Family Video to pick up some movies because I knew bad movies would cheer you up and Steve was working and he asked if I’d heard from you this morning and I said you were at my trailer and you seemed pretty upset.’ Eddie handed the plate of food to you, giving you a sorry smile.
‘Great.’ You say sarcastically as you start eating. You didn’t realise just how hungry you were and you ate the plate of food in front of you pretty fast. Once you finished you walked over to the sink, placing your plate down before sitting back on the couch. You sat in silence while Eddie finished up the food he had. He got up, placing his own plate in the sink before disappearing into his bedroom for a moment. He came back out, dragging his duvet and tossing it over you. You adjusted it over yourself as Eddie walked over to his TV, placing a video in.
‘Shitty B-horrors coming up.’ Eddie says sitting down next to you, pulling the duvet over himself. You adjust yourself on the couch, snuggling into Eddie’s side who wrapped his arm around you. You tried to focus on the movie but all you could think about was Steve.
‘I just don’t understand.’ You whimpered out, feeling tears fall from your eyes again.
‘Don’t understand what?’ Eddie asked.
‘Last night he was telling me how he wanted to be with me for months and this morning he was telling me it was a mistake. Why would he do that?’
‘Because he’s Steve Harrington. I mean I know he’s not the same person he was a few years ago but maybe there’s still some ‘King Steve’ leftover.’ Eddie shrugs and you give him a look.
‘Was that meant to make me feel better?’
‘I’m telling the truth. It’s not your fault that he is a massive douche.’ Eddie fluffs your hair as you let out a massive yawn. ‘Tired, huh?’
‘Tired and hungover.’ You say closing your eyes. ‘I didn’t get much sleep last night.’ Eddie snorts at your comment.
‘Maybe you shouldn’t have stayed up all night then.’ Eddie said, wriggling underneath you.
‘Shut up and stop moving. Pillows are meant to be still.’ You mumble shutting your eyes.
‘If you weren’t so sad right now I’d been offended by that comment.’ You laughed slightly but kept your eyes shut, dozing off.
You woke up alone to mumbled voices outside, and it felt like a repeat of earlier. You sat up and rubbed your face slightly. You couldn’t hear what was being said but you knew it sounded like an argument which meant you were pretty sure you knew who was outside. You stood up and opened the door your suspicion was confirmed when you saw Steve stood there.
‘There is no way you're ever talking to her.’ Eddie said standing between Steve and the trailer door.
‘Eddie.’ You say grabbing his arm. ‘It’s okay, give us five minutes.’
‘Alright, I’ll be right inside so just shout if you need me.’ Eddie said walking inside. You sat down on the steps of the trailer and Steve sat down next to you.
‘You left your jacket.’ Steve said handing it over to you. You almost laughed, he came here just to return your jacket. You dug into your pocket and grabbed out the cigarettes you kept in there, lighting one up.
‘So I’ve fucked up, haven’t I?’ Steve finally spoke. You hummed in agreement as you took a drag from your cigarette. ‘Look I didn’t mean what I said this morning. I was just freaked out.’
‘Am I meant to believe that?’ You don’t look at him when you sleep.
‘It’s the truth. Besides, you agreed with me so you also lied.’ He pointed out.
‘What was I meant to say?’ You snap finally looking at him. ‘Look I’ve never really cared about losing my virginity, I wasn’t saving it for anyone special or anything like that but being told I was a mistake didn’t make me exactly feel great.’
‘I- wait you were a virgin?’ Steve looked at you with shock.
‘Who would I have slept with? The only time guys ever hit on me is because they assumed I was into kinky shit.’ You shrug.
‘I don’t know, someone.’
‘Why did you say that?’ You asked looking back down at your hands.
‘Umm, Nancy had heard that you and me were at that party and so she came over and started asking all these questions about us and I just freaked. She always fucks with my head and I get all confused and flustered. So I lied but it was just a momentary lapse of judgement because I do like you, a lot and I have for a while, I just never said anything because of the whole thing with Robin and Eddie.’
‘What thing with Robin and Eddie?’
‘Oh, I figured Eddie would’ve told you with how pissed he is with me. Well, remember how you couldn’t make it to that movie night like a month ago because of food poisoning? I told Eddie and Robin I was going to ask you on a date the next time I saw you and they asked me not to. Something about ruining our friend group.’
‘What?’ You nearly yelled. Great, now not only were you pissed with Steve but Eddie and Robin. What gave them the right to decide things about your relationships without you?
‘Don’t be mad at them, they just wanted to keep things the same. But now that it’s out I guess it doesn’t matter. So what do you say? Will you give me another chance?’ Steve reaches out and grabs your hand but you pull it away.
‘I think you need to figure your shit out before we date.’ You throw your cigarette on the ground and walk back inside seeing Eddie sitting on the couch.
‘Hey, you okay?’ Eddie asks and you just glare at him.
‘I only came in here to get a ride because I am unbelievably pissed at you.’ You say with your arms crossed.
‘Me? What did I do?’ Eddie said clearly confused.
‘You told Steve not to ask me out. What give you the right to make decisions about my life?’ You snap.
‘I was just trying to protect you. Plus shouldn’t you be mad at Steve, not me?’
‘I can be plenty mad at you both. Now please take me home.’ You walk back outside and stand by Eddie’s van just wanting to go home.
A few days later and you parked on Main Street. You and Eddie both jump out of your car.
‘You get the movie, I’ll get snacks.’ You tell him before walking off to the grocery store. You had mostly forgiven Eddie at this point and you were getting ready for your weekly movie night with Steve and Robin. You hadn’t seen Steve since that day and you were slightly nervous for tonight. You didn’t know what would happen but you couldn’t imagine it would be anything other than uncomfortable. You grabbed a bunch of snacks and a few frozen pizzas before heading up to pay and walking back to your car. Eddie arrived at the car just after you holding up a movie.
‘Gremlins. Definitely not romantic just like you requested.’
‘Good choice. I got popcorn, some candy and two pizzas; plain and veggie.’ You say as you climb in the car, throwing the bag in the backseat.
‘No pepperoni? But that’s my favourite.’ He pouts as he climbs into the passenger seat.
‘Well, I’m still mad at all three of you so we get my favourite pizzas.’ You point out.
‘I’ve told you I’m sorry.’
‘I know and I’ve mostly forgiven you.’ You tell him as you pull out of the spot and towards your house.
Robin and Steve show up a few hours later, just as you’ve finished cooking the pizza. You place it on the coffee table and start up the movie, sitting down on the couch next to Eddie while Steve and Robin both sat on the other couch. You nibble at the pizza not really focusing on the movie, instead focusing on the tension in the air and the feeling of Steve’s eye boring into the side of your head. You had only said hi to him and that had been it. Maybe it was a bad idea to have a movie night less than a week after the two of you had slept together.
You all finished the pizza around half an hour into the movie and you got up, practically jumping at the chance to leave the room. You take the plates through to the kitchen before grabbing the popcorn and placing it on the stove.
‘Hey.’ You heard a voice say from behind you and jumped, turning around to see Robin standing there.
‘Oh, hey.’ You respond and turn back to the popcorn to make sure it doesn’t burn.
‘So, how’s it going?’ She asked rocking back and forth on her heels.
‘Alright.’ You reply you knew that there was an ulterior motive for this conversation and you wanted to know what it was.
‘So Steve really misses you. You should talk to him.’
‘I’m not ready yet, Robin.’ You tell her as the popcorn finishes popping. You take it off the stove and pour it into a bowl you had placed up on the side earlier.
‘But he’s really upset. It’s all he’s talked about for the past few days.’
‘You know it’s partly your fault right?’ You snap.
‘What?’ She said taken aback.
‘Yeah if you had never interfered in the first place then things could’ve been completely different so maybe stop interfering cause it’s clearly not working out.’ You storm out of the kitchen heading up the stairs into your room, slamming the door behind you and flopping down on your bed, burying your face in the pillow and screaming. You knew you shouldn’t have snapped but you were just so tired.
A few moments later you heard a knock on your door.
‘Go away!’ You yelled, not getting up.
‘It’s me.’ Steve's voice is muffled through the door. You sit up but don’t go to open the door. ‘Please don’t be angry at Robin or Eddie. You can be angry at me, even hate me but they’ve done nothing wrong.’ Steve pauses for a moment but you still don’t open the door. ‘You know you’re all I’ve thought about for the last few days, actually, that’s a lie, it’s been months and you’ve been the only thing on my mind. I guess I was just scared that I was going to fuck it up, like I do everything in my life, which I did so guess I’ve stuck to that pattern. I mean all these nights are over now. Eddie’s pissed at me, you’re pissed at me and Robin so now it’s all ruined and it’s all my fault.’ At some point, while Steve was speaking you had gotten up off the bed and walked over to the door. You pulled it open and Steve fell into your room from where he was leaning against the door. He scrambled to get up off the floor and look at you. He had a sad look on his face, tears were welling in his eyes and you wanted to reach out to him but decide against it.
‘It’s not all ruined now and I’m not angry at Robin. I shouldn’t have snapped at her. Also, I’m not angry at you. I don’t know what I’m feeling right now.’
‘I spoke to Nancy the second after I left Eddie’s trailer. I told her that I wasn’t going to put up with her playing around anymore and that I wanted to be with you. I told her that you’re the only girl for me and I was going to do whatever I could to prove that to you. Unless you aren’t interested then I’ll leave you alone.’ Steve panicked and you reached out to him taking his face in your hands.
‘Of course, I’m interested Steve. I just- are you sure this is what you want?’
‘More sure than I have been about anything else.’ You smile slightly at his words and lean in, pressing your lips sweetly to his. You slipped your hands from his face to his neck and play with the ends of his hair and his hands plant themselves on your hips. You move even closer to him, pressing your body even closer to him. You start to move closer to your bed but Steve pulls away.
‘Wait. I want to take you out properly before we do anything. You deserve it.’ He kisses you softly on the nose and you blush at his words and actions.
‘Okay, yeah. I would like that.’ You smile slightly.
‘You free tomorrow?’
‘Yeah, I am.’
‘Great, I’ll pick you up tomorrow at 7 then.’ He gives you another kiss and you both smile, excited for tomorrow.
It was the next evening and Robin was helping you get ready. You had thought the others had left when you had gone upstairs last night but apparently, they had stayed, wanting to make sure you were okay. You had apologised to Robin who immediately forgave you which you were thankful for. They left pretty soon after, Robin agreeing that she’d come over before Steve picked you up.
‘Why am I helping you get ready again?’ Robin asked as you held up some tops.
‘Because I don’t know what we're doing and I know Steve told you today at work so it’s your job to make sure I don’t show up in a snowsuit to a beach date.’ You said as you dug through your wardrobe.
‘Do you even own a snowsuit? And Hawkins doesn’t have a beach unless you count the shore of Lover’s Lake which isn’t really a beach it’s more of a shoreline.’
‘Robin, I was being metaphorical, now is this acceptable?’ You hold up a tight maroon turtleneck jumper.
‘Yeah, I think so. To be honest you could show up in sweats and an old t-shirt and Steve would think you were the most beautiful girl in the world. I mean you know you’re one of my best friends but my god I was close to killing Steve if he didn’t stop talking about you. It was just Y/N this and Y/N that all day.’ You blush at her words. Had Steve really been talking about you all day? You turn your attention back to your wardrobe, grabbing the only pair of jeans you had that weren’t ripped.
‘Do I need a jacket?’ You ask Robin.
‘Umm, no. You shouldn’t.’ Robin said. Okay, so you weren’t doing anything outside. You grab a pair of boots with a small heel and slip on your outfit turning to face Robin.
‘How do I look? Do I need to change?’
‘You look fine. And I don’t think you have time to change.’ You glance at the clock and swear. It was 10 minutes until Steve arrived. Luckily you had put your makeup on earlier so you were pretty much ready but you still had to choose jewellery.
‘Are you sure I look good? Like would you go on a date with me in this?’ You ask panicking.
‘You’re going on a date with my best friend there is no way I’m answering that question.’
‘That’s not what I meant.’ You say digging through your jewellery box.
‘I told you, you like fine. Steve is going to swoon when he sees you.’ You finish doing up your jewellery and sigh, checking your hair one last time in the mirror.
‘Thank you for helping me out and I really am sorry for snapping at you.’
‘It’s alright and don’t worry about it.’ Just then you hear the doorbell ring and you launch out of your room, hoping to beat your mother to the door. You run down the stairs but by the time you get to the door your mom is already standing there, smiling at Steve who was holding two bouquets of flowers.
‘Hey, Mrs Y/L/N, I got these for you.’ He said handing her one of the bouquets. Your mom gushes about how sweet he was as you grab your bag off the table, walking towards Steve.
‘Hey.’ You smile at him. He also just wearing a jumper and jeans so you feel more comfortable in your outfit choice.
‘Wow, you look, wow.’ Steve said staring at you. ‘Oh, these are for you.’ Steve said handing you the other bouquet and you feel your heart flutter. No one had ever bought you flowers before.
‘I’ll go put these in water for you.’ Your mom said taking them from you. ‘Have a good time.’ She gave you a hug and walked through to the kitchen as Robin pushed past you and Steve who were just staring at each other.
‘I’ll see you two dingus later.’ She waved at the two of you.
‘Wait, I can give you a ride home.’ Steve said snapping his attention away from you.
‘I live like 4 houses down Steve, I’m fine.’ She pointed out.
‘Right, yeah, sorry, I just wasn’t thinking.’ Steve rubbed the back of his neck as she rolled her eyes, walking away.
‘We should also get going.’ You tell him, stepping out of the house and closing the door behind you. You both walk over to Steve’s car, Steve opening the passenger door for you as you climb in.
‘Suck up.’ You joke once he’s in the car.
‘What do you mean?’ He said, looking over at you.
‘Buying my mom flowers. What’s next, getting my dad basketball tickets?’
‘So your dad likes basketball huh? Well lucky you’re dating a basketball star.’ You laugh at his words. The two of you chat as Steve drives along. He eventually pulls up in front of his house and you look at him with confusion.
‘We’re having our date at your house?’ You ask.
‘Just wait and see.’ Steve gets out of the car and rushes round to your side before you can open the door yourself. You both walk up to the front door and Steve tells you to wait outside while he finishes setting up. You sat on the doorstep for a few minutes until Steve appears back at the door, ushering you in.
‘Okay close your eyes.’ He smiled at you and you shake your head but do as he asks. He takes your hands and leads you through the house with your eyes closed. He stops walking and tells you to open your eyes. You do so and look around; you’re in the living room but all the furniture has been pushed to the side and a picnic blanket is in the middle of the floor. There are candles lit everywhere and food on the blanket.
‘Wait, is this because of the time I mentioned that we should all have a picnic with a bunch of kids' food?’ You ask him as you realise what food there is.
‘Yeah, I didn’t have much time to plan anything especially as I was working so I sort of stole your idea.’ He said, ushering you to sit down which you did.
‘I didn’t think you remembered that.’ You admit.
‘I remember everything you’ve told me. Well, aside from that time you showed up to movie night in that really short skirt. I don’t remember anything anyone said that night.’ You laugh, throwing a fry at his head and calling him a pervert. The two of you sat around laughing and joking while you ate. You were genuinely happy with Steve and your heart was constantly fluttering when you looked at him.
‘When is it you’re moving away?’ Steve eventually asks as you near the end of the food and your heart sinks, you had forgotten that the two of you would be long-distance soon.
‘Umm end of August, we’ve got a place, just waiting on hearing the move-in date.’ You scratch your head as you speak. ‘You better come visit every weekend.’ You joke.
‘About that, I haven’t told anyone else this, mainly because I only found out recently but I’m moving to Indianapolis too.’ You look directly at him. He was moving?
‘You’re moving?’ You ask in shock.
‘Yeah, I got my acceptance letter to college last week. It's just community college, nothing special but with everyone else moving away I figured I try again.’
‘That’s great, Steve.’ You say as you throw your arms around him with a huge grin on your face. You were happy both because you knew how important it was for Steve to have gotten into college and that the two of you would be in the same city next year.
‘It’s really not that big a deal.’ Steve hugged you back rubbing your back.
‘It is. I’m so excited for you.’ You pull away slightly so you could look at him.
‘Yeah well, I hope you don’t get bored of me now.’ He jokes.
‘You can sleep in Eddie’s bed when I do.’ You joke back, pulling away from the hug between the two of you to take a sip of your drink.
‘God, I am completely stuffed.’ Steve said stretching his arms over his head. As he stretch his jumper rode up slightly revealing the scars from the demobat attack. You hadn’t noticed them last time, probably a combination of the darkness and being drunk, but they were on display now. Before you could stop yourself you reached your hand out to touch them, causing Steve to flinch away from your touch. You apologised, feeling guilty that you touch them without asking.
‘It’s okay. It’s just that no one’s ever seen them before.’
‘Can I see them?’ You ask cautiously. You understand that what your asking is a big ask which is why you're careful, making sure Steve knows he can say no.
‘Yeah, yeah of course.’ You reach over, pulling up Steve’s jumper so you can see the scarred skin. They were still slightly red and raised even though they had fully healed. You reached your hand up, looking at Steve, asking for permission. He nodded slightly and you bought your hand over his stomach, feeling the raised skin.
‘Yeah, looks like I’ve lost any chance of becoming a swimsuit model.’ Steve jokes as you focus on his scars.
‘You’re so beautiful.’ You said mesmerised by his scars. The scars didn’t take away from his looks, if anything they added to it. It showed his bravery and his need to protect those he cares about. You lean down, pressing a kiss to his torso. Steve let out a quiet groan as you pressed kisses to his scars.
‘Y/N, fuck if you keep doing that I’m going to lose it.’ He moans out. You pull yourself up, placing your hands on Steve’s legs as you knelt in between them. You leaned forward, pressing a kiss to his lips, before leaning back down, scooting yourself back and kissing his stomach again. You scooted yourself backwards slightly so you were laying on your stomach. You move your hands from Steve’s thighs to his crotch.
‘Can I suck you off?’ You said, looking up at him.
‘Can you- fuck you don’t even have to ask.’ You moved your hands to undo his jeans, pulling them down slightly so you could see his boxers. You bent down, kissing his cock through his boxers. You could feel how hard he was through his boxers and it made you wet to think about how this was the effect you had on him. You move your head back up to kiss the bottom of his stomach as your fingers hooked into the top of his boxers, pulling them down so you could see his cock. You look down at it and knew you wouldn’t be able to fit it all in your mouth, hell you weren’t even sure you be able to fit the tip in with how thick he was but you would try. You leant down pressing kisses to his entire shaft, making sure to give his whole cock your attention. You move your head even further down to press more kisses to his balls as Steve moaned out. His noises only encouraged you as you brought your hand up to his cock, pumping it up and down as your mouth continued to suck and lick at his balls.
‘Baby, I need your mouth on my cock.’ Steve whined out and you obliged, licking up the big vein on the underside. You lick his tip, taking his precum into your mouth before you take him into your mouth going as deep as you can. You can barely fit half of his cock into your mouth before you’re gagging. You use your hand to jerk the rest of his cock as you move your head up and down swirling your tongue around him. Steve moves one of his hands that was pressed into the carpet to support himself into your hair, gripping it tightly as he moaned beneath you.
‘Babe, god I’m so close.’ He whines out and you increase the speed of your hand. You take him as deep as you can your throat squeezing around his cock and he groaned out loudly, coming down your throat. You pulled off his cock as he lay down flat on the carpet, breathing heavily. You laugh slightly as you climb up to lie next to him, his arms wrapped around you.
‘There’s no way you’ve never done that before.’ Steve laughs out, pressing an open-mouth kiss to your mouth.
‘What can I say? I’m a natural.’ You smirk, throwing one of your legs over his. Steve recovered his breath and moved to flip you over so you were underneath him, lying on the floor. He moved his hands down to your jeans undoing them and pulling them down your legs along with your underwear.
‘I’m going to repay the favour, babe.’ He tells you, kissing your jaw. He moved his hand down, pushing your legs apart slightly before his fingers ran through your wetness, taking his hand up to his mouth and licking his fingers clean. You whined out as you watched him suck on his fingers. Steve moved his way down so his head was in between your legs. He kissed both your thighs slightly before focusing his attention on your core. He licked a few strips up your cunt before flicking his tongue up and down on your clit. You moaned out, wrapping your hands in his hair as he kept quickly moving his tongue on your clit. As you continued to cry out, he pulled his tongue away instead attaching his mouth to your clit.
‘Steve, don’t stop.’ You whine out. He sucked even harder, his tongue flicking slightly as he did so. He started to hum slightly, the vibrations making it even more pleasurable.
You quickly feel your orgasm build, gripping Steve's hair tightly as you moan out his name. Steve continues his assault on your clit, as you cry out, your back arching off the ground to feel even more of his mouth on you.
‘Fuck, Steve, I’m coming.’ You yell out as your orgasm washes over you. You continue to come in waves as Steve slows down his movements helping you ride out your orgasm as he licks you clean. He eventually pulls away from you, repositioning himself so he was hovering over you, kissing you heavily.
‘Do you want to go upstairs?’ He asks after he pulls away, playing with a strand of your hair.
‘Yeah, let’s go.’ You nod. Steve stands up, helping you up before leading you up the stairs and back into his bedroom.
You woke up in Steve’s bed alone again. You immediately sit up panicking that you were experiencing a repeat of the last time you were here. You get up, considering grabbing a pair of trousers but deciding that shirt Steve had given you covered your underwear enough, heading downstairs. You look around finding Steve standing in the kitchen in his boxers, his back turned to you as he cooked up some food. You immediately relaxed as you saw him standing there, listening to his humming. You move towards Steve, wrapping your arms around Steve’s waist from behind. He jumps slightly before relaxing, turning around and wrapping his arms around you.
‘Hey beautiful, I was wanting to bring you some breakfast.’ He said pressing a kiss to the side of your head.
‘That’s sweet.’ You smile nuzzling your head into his shoulder. ‘Your hair looks good in the morning.’ You tell him. You like his hair as it was, completely unstyled and messy.
‘All of you looks good in the morning.’ He pulled away from you, turning back to the food in front of him. He finished cooking it, plating it up and handing it over to you. You both sat at the kitchen island eating your food and chatting. Once you finished, Steve picked up the plates and dumped them into the sink.
‘You know I don’t have work today, right?’ Steve pointed out. ‘Let’s go back to bed.’ He said placing his hands on your hips.
‘You, Steve Harrington, are a horndog.’ You tell him, wrapping your arms around his neck.
‘I can’t help it. I mean look at you.’ Steve pulls you closer, tightening his grip on your hips.
‘So no regrets then?’ You smiled slightly.
‘No regrets.’ He confirmed, leaning down to kiss you.

An alternative to my post earlier this year about Steve and Jonathan revealing they used to crush on each other after coming out with their respective relationship of Steddie and Jargyle is this -
After everyone gets back into town and after Nancy and Jonathan breakup, Jonathan decides to give Steve a chance at becoming friends but it very quickly becomes apparent that they have unresolved romantic/sexual tension so they enter into a secret relationship - not because they think people won't support them, but rather because they're worried that the two of them might not make it, due to their complicated history, and then after awhile it stays secret because they like the privacy.
Anyway Will clocks immediately that Jonathan has been happier lately. And all that Will can get is that Jonathan has been seeing someone. And Robin also notices something is up with Steve and eventually confronts him when she notices he has a hickey but has quite clearly not been talking to her about any recent romantic or sexual endeavors so "What's up with that Steve?" so all Robin ends up getting out of Steve is that Steve is seeing a man and "it's new Robin so could you please be patient and let me come to you about it because I really want this to work out."
So Will goes to El and Mike and is like "Jonathan has no friends and him and Nancy broke up who could he possibly be dating?" and El is like "Argyle?" and Mike is like "No, yeah that totally makes sense it's definitely Argyle."
And on Robin's side of things she's definitely convinced its Eddie, because the two have them got really close post Vecna, and Eddie (being Eddie) is almost constantly inside of Steve's personal bubble.
Dustin and Max also notice something is going on with Steve and kind of bully Robin into admitting that he told her he was in a relationship and Max and Dustin also both go "ahhh it's Eddie isn't it"
So all this happens and so the Party + Robin all think that Jonathan is dating Argyle and Steve is dating Eddie.
And eventually it comes out when there's some sort of gathering at the Byers and Steve is nowhere to be found and so the kids start pestering Eddie about where he is and Eddie is like "Uhhh why would I know?"
Which leads to a whole conversation about how "Uh no? I am not dating King Steve Harrington."
Then Jonathan walks in from his bedroom to the dining room, a little mussed up and sleepy looking and Joyce says, "How was your nap sweetie?"
"it was good"
and then she hands him a mug of coffee, drops a kiss on his head and says "could you bring this to Steve, he looked dead on his feet when he came in today"
to which the kids start loudly complaining about how Steve isn't here, only for Steve to then stumble out of Jonathan's room also mussed up and sleepy looking wearing clothes that clearly aren't his asking them all to "please just shut up already, I was trying to nap"
Which shocks everyone into silence.
(Except Erica who loudly proclaims "Did you nerds really not know those two were dating? Because Steves been playing nothing but that stupid British experimental rock in his car for weeks.")
And then everyone has to go through the motions of explaining that they all thought Steddie and Jargyle was what was happening
(Argyle: woah i totally appreciate that you guys think that Jonathan and I could work together but I am totally in love with Eden and no offence to my boy here but even he is not worth losing that totally perfect babe over)
(Eddie: oh my god🤣 oh my god🤣 oh my god🤣 Robin YOU thought I was dating Steve? That would totally ruin my image as a scary devil worshiping metal rocker)
(Robin: Shut up shut up shut up, I think I've seen the two of them in the same room maybe three times in the entire time I've known them! How would I have possibly put that together! And you! You live inside Steve's personal bubble and you're ALWAYS flirting with him! What was I supposed to think!)

Okay, if you can't tell the Steddie and overall ST brainrot has a GRIP on me.
But like, can y'all imagine if Gareth is super worried for his friend, knows all his spots that he goes to when stressed and just wants to know his friend is okay because he knows Eddie would never kill anyone. So he goes to Reefer Rick's at the same time as everyone else and like that throws everything off.
Dustin is trying to get Eddie to make Gareth leave but Gareth is Eddie's Ride-or-Die. He ain't going anywhere kiddo.
So Gareth is there for everything, he makes sure Eddie doesn't die. They both get a little fucked up yeah but they had to protect Little Henderson, who apparently is basically King Steve's child. Which that was something he could have never guessed. King Steve turning into Mama Steve a mother of 6 or 7 children...and apparently his best friend is coparenting those children.
Him and Robin Live Slug reacting to Eddie and Steve flirting and being oblivious.
Gareth and Eddie losing their damn minds together over the shit they saw and learn about from The Party.
Of course Jared (the friend who completed their trio), as soon as he's able to come back to town as his dad sent him to his grandmas in Indianapolis when everything started, rushes to check over his friends and ask what the fuck happened. Eddie and Gareth want to tell him so bad but like the government did make them sign NDA's and like they haven't run it by the Party but look Steve was visiting Eddie and Gareth at Eddie's new trailer and he can give permission right?
Eddie: "Stevie. Sweetheart. Doll. Jared is the other 50% of my impulse control. We have to tell him! I don't care if we signed NDAs."
Gareth: "You know....I actually don't remember signing an NDA. Like I did go into surgery and came out but like I don't remember any Feds."
Steve: "...what?"
Gareth: "No I'm serious! Like unless I don't remember because I was on the good stuff, no spooky Men in Black. Maybe they didn't realize I was part of it? I mean my injuries were bad yeah but Eddie's were way worse. Harrington you get 2nd place for injuries."
Jared: "...what?"
Eddie: "You know you may be on to something Gar!"
Gareth: "You know how much I hate that nickname but continue."
Eddie: "Your injuries looked like they could have been caused by falling debris from an "earthquake" or perhaps some overzealous jock cult members who were known to be going after Hellfire members..."
Jared: "I am so confused."
Steve: "So you didn't sign an NDA."
Gareth: "I did not!"
Steve sighing loudly: "Eddie, Gareth, you two SWEAR he can keep a secret?"
Eddie: "Seeing as Jared has known I like dick since freshman year and hasn't said anything yeah Babe."
Jared: "Babe!?"
Gareth: "Do not ask."
Steve sighing even more: "Technically...I guess we're not breaking any agreements if Gareth tells uh...Jared? Jared everything. I'll let the kids know."
Jared gets adopted into the Party next. Hopper is just shaking his head near tears, why do they keep multiplying!?

You stretched out on the hammock that hung from the posts of the clubhouse. The other losers were strewn about the rest of the space, doing various things to keep themselves occupied. Richie had taken the liberty of staring you down since you were lying on what he considered the second coming of Jesus.
“Take a picture, it’ll last longer, dickwad.” You said, stretching out to get more comfortable. Annoying him was just a bonus.
“Eddie, didn’t you say it was a 10-minute limit?” Richie asked.
“Uh yeah well considering you didn’t respect that rule when it was my turn I think (Y/n) has every right to overstay her welcome on that hammock.”
“Aw stop it, Eddie, you’re making me blush.” You teased. Eddie rolled his eyes.
“Don’t make me take it back (Y/n).”
“Love you too Eds.” You replied as you went back to reading your comic book.
“Fuck this bullshit,” Richie exclaimed as he walked toward your reclined body. You lowered your book just in time to see Richie sidle up next to you. You groaned.
“Oh come on man, have some self-respect.” You grumbled as he made the fabric sway. He smirked and got comfortable the best he could.
“Ah, that’s refreshing. I mean honestly, my back was killing me. You know, now that I think about it, I could really use a massage. (Y/n), would you be so kind?” He asked, his voice patronizing. You rolled your eyes and set your book down.
“Why of course Mr. Tozier, you should’ve said something sooner. Come real close and I’ll get all that tension out for you.”
“Now that’s what I’m talking about. Finally getting the royal treatment I deserve.” He replied jokingly, knowing there was no way you’d go for it. You adjusted yourself and to his surprise, actually began to massage his back. His face slowly turned red as he felt your hands climb up his skin, gently pressing your fingers and palms down interchangeably.
“You're actually…?”
“Anything for you Richie.” You teased. Your heart thumped loudly in your ears. His skin was so soft you were scared your fingertips might just pass through him. You tried to play it cool like this was just your normal, run-of-the-mill, Richie pulling punches and (Y/n) being the only girl dumb enough to punch back, but you knew that was a lie. You knew your hands were trembling as you caressed the back of the boy you’d had a crush on for God knows how many years and you knew he’d start to feel it soon as well.
“Are you flirting with me?” He asked, his voice almost faltering in his throat. He was joking. He had to be joking.
“So what if I am?” You asked, leaning your chin on his shoulder and resting your hands on his hips. Richie practically burst at the seams from this, but what happened next threw him out of the trance faster than he’d fallen into it. You roughly shoved him off the hammock, smirking in triumph at the sound of surprise that jumped out of him. He fell to the floor, and the wind immediately knocked out of his chest. All he could do was lie there for a solid minute, processing what had happened.
“You skank!” He shouted, sitting up and turning toward you. You smirked and reclined again, picking up the comic book you’d set down.
“You love me.” You replied. He gave a slight chuckle before shaking his head and leaning against the wooden post that held up one side of the hammock. He did. He really did.
>><<
You yawned as you approached the arcade snack counter. You’d been going at Street Fighter for far too long and decided it was time for a pick-me-up. An ultra delicious total brain-freezing wild cherry slushie. Or just a cherry slush, as those less passionate than you would call it.
You sauntered over to the counter and the employee who stood behind it and smiled. He placed a cup under the cherry spout, already knowing what you’d gone there for. To say you were a regular was an understatement. You placed $1.50 on the counter, and the employee finished in record time, sliding the drink to you and putting the cash in the register. You walked away, knowing that he knew that you didn’t need the change.
As you walked away, you ducked behind a hanging tarp. The part of the arcade that was always under construction for whatever reason. You liked laying low here to enjoy your slushes in peace and quiet. Plus there was a working Computer Space cabinet so that was the sickest part.
“How did I know you’d be here?” A familiar voice asked after the rusting of the tarp stopped. You snickered and looked over your shoulder, seeing your best friend.
“Richard Tozier. How often have I told you not to bother me in my super-secret lair?” You replied. It was now his turn to snicker.
“Lair? Seriously? This dingy old place has got to be one of the lamest ‘lairs’ I’ve ever seen.” He said. You exhaled and leaned against the cabinet.
“Yeah, I guess you're right. But it’s gotta be worth something with this original Computer Space cabinet which has an unbeatable high score held by… Well… me.” You replied, a smirk creeping its way onto your lips. There was nothing in the world that pissed Richie off more than the fact that he just couldn’t seem to top you in that damn game.
“Again with this. I swear it’s like the only thing you have over my head. Computer Space this Computer Space that meh meh meh meh meh.” He mocked you.
“Aw, someone’s getting all worked up. Come on, yell at me some more, I like it.” You taunted as you took a sip from your slushie.
“You like everything I do (Y/n).” He said as he leaned on the cabinet beside you.
“Why yes. Every night I go to sleep dreaming of my knight in shining armor Richard Tozier who will sweep me off my feet one day.” You jeered sarcastically.
“I bet you do. I bet you dream of kissing me like there’s no tomorrow.”
“Oh not just kissing Richie. No no no. In my dreams, we do so much more than just kissing.”
“God just stop being so cute!” He exclaimed, his tone much more genuine than he’d intended. You choked on your slushie slightly, your face growing warm from the blood that rushed to it.
“Wh-What?” You stared at him. His face dropped as he registered what he’d said.
“Oh, I just- um… I-I’m kidding. Like always.”
“Then why are you so red?”
“It’s warm?”
“You’re so full of shit Tozier.” You replied before grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and pulling him into a kiss. He made a noise of surprise but within seconds he was practically melting into your touch. He wrapped his arms around your waist and deepened the kiss as much as he could. You still tasted like the cherry slushie, and he couldn’t get enough.

Jealous Billy prompt? 💥
Him and Steve had this relationship that was mostly sex, but it ended because of a bad fight (Steve had feelings and so did Billy but he didn’t wanna accept them.) Now they have to face each other again because Billy got dragged into the Vecna stuff with the other four, but it’s awful because he can’t take his eyes off of Steve who clearly has a thing with Eddie (The two have slept together couple of times before so it’s not just flirting around, there’s really something there) and well, a fight happens. FEELINGS happen. Billy’s just, very jealous.
“It was very metal, is all I’m saying.”
Billy was seething.
Walking behind Steve and Eddie the fucking freak. It was his own personal torture.
The Freak leaned over to get in Steve’s space, Steve barely placing a half-hearted elbow put to stop The Freak from climbing into his skin, but smiled at The Freak with a look that made Billy sick.
Because Billy knows that look.
That’s the look of Steve Harrington having a major thing for the guy he’s talking to.
He would know.
He had that look. For nearly six months.
And then the end of June came and Steve told him he loved him, and Billy fucking freaked, and said all this awful shit to Steve that still haunts him and means Steve gives him all these icy stares, if he even looks in Billy’s direction at all.
He knows Steve and that weirdo are fucking.
He knows because of the stupid black hankerchief hanging out of The Freak’s back pocket, and the hickies that Steve couldn’t possibly to hide underneath that fucking perfect yellow sweater.
He knows because The Freak gave Steve his stupid denim vest and Steve slid it on with this shy little smile that made Billy wanna tear out his damn hair.
It’s fucking stupid.
That he’s stuck trudging behind everyone, glaring at Steve interacting with The Freak.
He had Steve. He could’ve had more with Steve, but he was too chicken shit for that.
So instead of acknowledging his feelings, he broke Steve’s heart.
And Steve ran straight into the arms of The Freak.
“I hate this place,” Steve said quietly, leaning over closer to The Freak, meaning their conversations to simply be between those two.
“I know. We’ll get our weapons, and we’ll get right back out.”
Steve shivered, and The Freak brushed a hand in a comforting motion over his back, dropping the hand quickly and glancing back at Billy.
“He looks mad,” he muttered to Steve.
Steve cast one glance over his shoulder, looking right at Billy and scoffing loudly.
“He doesn’t have a right to be.” Steve was still looking right at Billy.
The Freak glanced nervously at Billy, like Billy was a bomb waiting to go off.
Freak’s not exactly wrong.
Billy would fucking love to punch his stupid lights out.
What does he have that Billy doesn’t?
(Apart from Steve, that is.)
Nothing.
His hair looks totally fried, like it would be crunchy to the touch. Everything he owns is ripped and torn.
And yeah, Billy’s poor too. He grew up in a trailer pretty much identical to the one The Freak sells drugs out of.
But he’s better at faking it.
He learned how to sew and repair the shitty holes that wear through his shitty things.
The Freak just wears the shitty things looking like shit.
“He’s not allowed to be mad at either of us. And he’s not allowed to be mad at my fucking happiness.” Steve turned back to face forward, and The Freak gave Billy another weary look before facing front as well.
“That’s right, Freak. Mind your own business.”
Before Billy could realize, Steve turned to face him, making Billy stop dead in his tracks.
“What was that?”
Billy huffed a laugh.
“Was just telling the Freak to mind his own fucking business.”
Steve clenched his jaw.
“Don’t. Fucking call him that.”
Billy laughed again, stepping closer to Steve, going toe to toe with him.
“Why not? He is a fucking freak.” Billy pushed Steve’s chest, but he stood his ground.
Billy doesn’t know if he wants to punch him or make out with him.
“Just because you two are happy little queers together, doesn’t mean he’s not.”
“Hey!” Robin roared stomping towards them. “Don’t fucking-”
“Oh, yeah,” Steve rolled his eyes, talking over Robin. “Because all those times you sucked my dick was super straight behavior.”
“Well, at least I don’t go around telling every guy that looks twice at me that I fucking love them,” Billy hissed.
He knew it would hurt Steve.
But he’s never been able to stop hurting the people he cares about.
“Alright, alright.” The Freak pulled Steve back a bit, stepping between Billy and Steve. “Any other day, I’d be happy to battle you for Steve’s honor, or whatever, but if you hadn’t noticed, we’re currently stuck in a creepy ass hellscape, so if we could table this discussion for later, that’d be great.” The Freak gave him a sarcastic smile, turning around to pull Steve along by his elbow.
Billy waited until Steve and The Freak were several yards away, trudging along behind the group.
“You need to let him go.” Robin fell into step beside him. “He’s moved on, and you’re just making yourself miserable.”
Billy sighed.
“I fucking know.”
“And you’re not making him want to forgive you.”
Billy didn’t answer, kicking at a rock at his feet.
Robin, knowing she made her point, skipped along ahead, catching up with the other four in their little pack.
If they got out of here alive, Billy was absolutely gonna fight that freak.
