no wonder why Batman hid Robins Dick and Jason under his cape most of the time or wrapped them with his cape after late night patrol in the Batmobile when they head home, cus poor kids be wearing shorts in a damn cold city.

so when there's a mission that required going to water or when it's about Mr. Freeze, Dick went, "I regret saying yes to the shorts, B." but then he really couldn't say no, cus the shorts helped him move freely like those times in the circus.

and same thing with Jason, who was used to coldness growing up in a poor environment. but to be fair, the shorts did help him with his movements.

so the Batmobile probably has lots of sweaters, joggers and blankets for Robins to warm them up after a long, cold day in Gotham.
