Reasons Why Water House Synastry Is Karmic and Intense:
In this post, I want to address some reasons why water house (4th, 8th, and 12th) synastry can be very intense, very transformational and create/increase codependency.
Tumblr media
(the basis of this thread is the fact that there is attraction and desire within the romantic connection, and the depth of feeling will run more true if you share multiple other intense synastry aspects/past life connections. Friendships/family relations that have heavy 8th/12th house synastry overlays manifest *very* differently)
Each water house has one common factor, and that's with these type of synastry overlays; you will feel seen or accepted. In some way, some form, the severity of it depends (as usual), but if you struggle with:
4TH House:
Showing your true character to others without the fear of being judged.
Sharing your inner thoughts to others with ease and safeness.
The fact that you never felt/had a safe home, so now you long for that feeling (of being at ease/comfortable with someones presence).
Feeling ease and comfortability within your environment or within yourself, instead you experienced that those feelings came at a cost.
8TH House: If you struggle with:
Self acceptance.
Self worth.
Self love.
Self confidence.
Accepting/receiving love.
Having low respect for yourself (meaning how others treat you may be hurtful but because of lack of validation within, you allow or accept that behavior).
Having a pattern where the way others treat you either gives or takes away validation your inner wounds need.
Deeply craving emotional closeness yet fearing it at the same time.
Allowing yourself to desire love.
The fact you're emotionally unavailable; so you're unsure with how to deal with romance, and yet a part of you still deeply desires a partner.
These also may resonate if you have 8H, Pluto aspecting inner planets/Scorpio placements)
12TH House: If you struggle with:
Emotionally availability/allowing someone to see you, all of you.
Receiving tangible, stable, harmonious, love.
Having a habit to/find it easier to fix or save someone in hopes of changing their self destructive habits or mental health issues. This type of tendency creates an avoidance within yourself especially if you don't focus on your own needs or problems. (it's easier to focus on someone else's pain rather than your own)
Feeling safe with the idea of not being needed, instead you choose to be the giver or other woman since it subconsciously keeps you at a distance of being openly loved (which is something you subconsciously fear)
Holding the deep desire to feel seen past the physical 3D.
Allowing yourself to receive the type of love you're able to give/shower another.
Wanting to fix or heal someone's mental health wounds or problems, you find it safer to be their savior rather than have a true give and take partnership.
(These also may resonate if you have 12H, Neptune aspecting inner planets/Pisces placements)
These are a few examples of how intense these synastry overlays may manifest if you are struggling with the above statements. I briefly mentioned a few indicators, needless to say they are more and each synastry chart or even natal chart will always paint the picture better of how deep these relationships can manifest.
then 4th, 8th, and 12th house synastry will cause internal shift within, whether you want it to or not.
Tumblr media
4th House: With the 4th house and when someone walks into your life and they ignite your IC, the part of your character that you readily hide becomes unlocked. If you personally have struggled with being comfortable in your skin, or have struggled with feeling secure with who you are as you are, then this person to you will feel like a comfort blanket. Their presence will shift you into a mood where all you feel is safe, present, and in the moment. With them, you will feel complete in showcasing your inner world and your inner thoughts. Their presence will become this key that you didn't even knew you need. It'll feel easy with them, and there is no hesitation, confusion or worry. You can't feel worry, and it's not because they insistently tell you not to feel anxious, you just naturally won't. You guys will likely share the same humor or communication style, and if there is a Venus conjunct IC then the IC person will feel this romantic pull with showcasing their personality outwardly that they won't be able to shake towards the Venus person. Overall these feelings are especially true if you struggle with letting someone in, if it takes some time for you to allow someone else to see your personality or thoughts, then they will feel like a cure for allowing to let that side of you out and when you're next to them; you'll feel like you're finally home.
Example: you walk into a bar and they make eye contact with you, you instantly smile, they instantly smile, and the conversation that ignites feels as if you just spoke to them. It could be weeks, months even since you last saw them but the comfortability between the two of you oozes out in a way where it feels like they just came back home to you.
The reason why this type of connection can be hard to let go of is because their presence might cause or create a codependent need in you for them in order to feel "safe." All their presence is doing is igniting the secure feeling in you that you wish you had, you finally can look into another's eyes and feel that type of comfortability you've always been scared enough to unlock or accept. Your private thoughts and characteristics feel safe next to them, and because of that, they create this security within you won't know how to let go of. So, all they are doing is unleashing your wish of being your truest self without fearing the consequences of being seen for who you are.
In some cases, 4th house synastry may not run as intense, and some say it can be 'mundane' or boring, especially if you don't struggle with the listed wounds I stated, or if you don't share other intense or cute attraction synastry aspects with them; but in essence this individual will feel like a grounding force.
The bond you can form with them is tangible, it's secure, and it feels real. So, letting them go will feel as though you're letting go the one desire of ever revealing your private inner self with ease, especially if this is a part of you that you've been too afraid to openly show or even accept.

8th House: With the 8th house, these type of connections are more intense, and naturally so. With this type of synastry, and if you struggle with self acceptance especially with self love or self worth, then letting go of this connection will feel near to impossible. It will feel like life or death if they walk away from you, and it will feel like a part of you dies every time they don't give you the reassurance or acknowledgment your soul wishes for. Their eyes alone, tell you it's time to let that wall down and without effort your wall crumbles. You know that if they leave, a part of you will leave with them but if your wound of wishing to be accepted runs so deep within, you can't help but take that risk. You're aware that the unavoidable low following their absence will cut deep, yet instead of walking away, you prepare yourself for its inevitable arrival.
You allow that pain to embody you because that pain hurts less than not feeling those moments of acceptance that they are able to give you, especially if it's what you've always reluctantly wished for.
With their presence that void of wanting emotional closeness that you've always longed for will feel like it has vanished, their eyes alleviate the long-ignored half-empty feeling, and so the part of you that wishes to been seen, the part of you that wishes to feel accepted, the part of you that wants to be vulnerable won't know how to let go.
You could run into them and it could be weeks, months even and if you still struggle with loving yourself in the way you wish they would, their presence will create this upheaval that will shake within you, this synastry holds cycles, loops, ups and down to the point of where if you don't hate them, a part of you will still want them.
This synastry creates a dynamic where this soul that entered your life is only igniting the parts of you that you, yourself don't accept, love or acknowledge. Their presence becomes this band-aid that somehow soothes the deepest parts of you that have been abandoned, and their presence soothes the part of you that you yourself believe you can't heal. This fear then creates a scarcity mindset that can cause you to become someone you're not, and even if you logically know what is objectively best to do in situations to not create more intensity within the connection; there's just a part of you that can't care.
The reason why this type of connection can be hard to let go of is because their presence might cause or create a codependent need in you to have them in order to feel "seen." Their presence gives you a sense of acceptance where you allow yourself to accept love in. If you struggle with emotional abandonment, or fear love, then their presence will feel like a "skip the line" pass with inner healing the parts of you that feel broken.
The reason why 8th house synastry is discussed so promptly and openly is because these feelings that persist (when dealing with inner wounds) become such catalysts of growth and ego deaths; but that is only because this connection allows in the hope for love you've been wishing for all your life. You want to be held, you want to be cared for and loved in a way that you've never received, and this person presences grants that sole wish. They bring you that one solace feeling that you've never felt and because of that, letting them go is letting go the one key that makes you feel worthy, seen, and accepted.
Their presence creates this codependent need within because they become this one "thing" that you think you need in order to fulfill that self love wound you keep repressing. You'll start to rely on them for emotional clarity or serenity, you'll start to "need them" in order to feel good, and you'll expect them to make you feel "better" emotionally and if they fail to meet those expectations, all you'd be faced with is the unwavering feeling of the lack of self love or worth you're too afraid to self develop.
The love you're so readily able to give them, is what your soul is asking you to give yourself.
*Those who have prominent natal Scorpio or 8th house placements as well as having Pluto aspecting harshly their inner planets or ascendant will feel these trials and errors more*

12th house: With the 12th house, this synastry unlocks so many different routes and experiences. Many factors influence how each individual can feel towards this ethereal connection. One way this synastry can manifest is through the tendency for the 12th house to cloud, confuse, and bring hesitancy into the connection. In some cases, Person A will feel as though they can read Person B in such a deep and subconscious way; this type of knowing may even be hidden from Person B to the extent that they are unaware of their own subconscious emotional needs, thoughts or feelings, and yet (especially if there's care or desire on their end) Person A can read Person B like a book. 12th house synastry can be so thought provoking because of the absolute depth and surreal feeling it can add into the connection. The planet person (or the person who has heavy Neptune/Pisces/12th house placements) will feel this innate drive to be with the house person (or the other partner who isn't as spiritual adept). It's as if one partner, driven by an innate need to give endlessly, is profusely tossing their sole bucket of water into the vast ocean of the other partner's needs. The giver (or the person who has heavy Neptune/Pisces/12th house placements) is so focused on giving that they overlook the importance of receiving, while the receiver remains oblivious.
If Person B remains unaware of the deep spiritual bond between them that can manifest, they may perceive Person A's actions as invasive or unnecessary. Person A, recognizing wounds in Person B that they may not be aware of can evoke a sense of fear in Person B, this has to deal with the issue of them not allowing or accepting a form of love that they believe (Person B) doesn't serve them.
If this scenario resonates with you, then this individual is provoking a wound within yourself that deals with the acceptance of receiving authentic love. This innate need to only give highlights your own fear of receiving real tangible love.
In this scenario where one party wants to save, fix, heal or give highlights that fearful nature in you where you allow to stay in shallow waters. You subconsciously know that you have such passionate love to give, but that thought of giving to someone who in turn might be willing to give back evokes fear and uncertainty within you.
This subconscious block holds more comfortability within you since it allows you to never accept a love where your soul will fully be fulfilled. It's self sabotaging and self written, you naturally already know how the story will end between you two, and so you subconsciously will find a character who perfectly embodies the story you yourself say you try to run from.
On the other hand this synastry (when desired and when is dealing with highly evolved individuals) can unlock such deep soulfulness between both partners. Between the two parties, it'll feel as if they have found someone that can finally understand them better than anyone ever has, it'll feel dreamy and mystical. Their body language writes stories that you could only read.
In a pure sense, one partner that desires the other very deeply and whole heartedly wants to make sure that their partner is seen, and understood. And this comes from a very sincere place and if the other receiving partner allows that kind of love in while being okay with giving that same love back, that is when this type of connection can be ideal.
Now in this scenario, this type of codependent nature deals with over emphasizing redemption with no boundaries. If there is solid exchangeable love, a part of you may believe there is always more good than bad within them or within the relationship, and so their wrongdoings or unacceptable behavior to you or to others somehow receives justification or more understanding than he or she should receive (especially if you also share 8th house synastry with them)
This type of dynamic receives interchanging parts, with the 12th house things can lack a solid foundation and lack crystal clear communication, some days you both won't deal with struggling dynamics, then one say Partner 1 acts out, to which Partner 2 cuirasses and holds, then a few weeks later Partner 2 acts out and Partner 1 comes to their aid.
Truly the amount of stories, experiences, how Person 1 will feel vs Person 2 is genuinely so intercomplicated and nuanced. Each story lies within the two parties involved, with this house they are just so many different routes and avenues it can uphold so in this particular post may not cover every ounce of information on 12th house synastry. If you are curious to learn more only about this synastry I have a long updated post titled "Understanding 12th House Synastry" and it's far more in-depth.
In essence, how the other partner receives this type of boundless understanding calls for them to be a very kind and open individual. It's important to understand and recognize red flags or self undoing patterns. Staying aware of the actual real situation instead of sitting in bed thinking of the "What if's" are key. Their posts may not be about you, that song on their story can be just a song, remember that. Especially if the individual lacks self awareness or care on their end.
Tumblr media
Finally, I don't believe water house synastry holds malicious energy or serves as a dictatorship with stating how the relationship will fail. Not every synastry overlay is set for such intense energy or uncomfortable experiences, each planet in a natal chart holds different themes. What truly matters at the end of the day are the two souls involved within the connection. Desire, care, love, and acceptance are all foundational keys for any relationship to last even those with or without water house synastry. Accepting yourself in the purest form when it comes each water house theme (4,8,12) is key.
Your natal chart when it comes to synastry serves as a mirror within yourself, everything you are feeling for someone else is already sitting within you.
Don't forget that.

Hiii I have a question bout synastry. What does it mean having my NN in conjunction with his Saturn and my asteroid Angel in conjunction with his Saturn and Jupiter? all these aspects in a tight orbit. I'm a she btw 💞
Hello!! Thank you for your question!!! And apologies for the delay in response!!
First and foremost though, I would like to clarify that I am not an asteroid astrologer (I will utilize Chiron, Juno, and Lilith but the rest are not personally a part of my astrology practice), so if anyone wants to chime in on that part of the synastry, feel free!!!
However, I can talk about your North Node and Saturn-- and this will be a bit vague, as I don't know what sign this is occurring in or which house this falls in, in your respective charts which will further indicate the nature of this aspect and how it will play out in your synastry,
Anyways, we want to consider what the North Node and Saturn indicate. The North Node represents what our soul is travelling towards in this life and can also *potentially* indicate fated contacts/events, but most importantly it represents the area in which our soul intends to grow towards. However, this is not always comfortable for us, if we can think about the South Node as an area of life that we have mastered, we can also look at the South Node as an area of life in which we are comfortable in. Therefore, we have to think about the North Node as the opposite of that, it is completely unfamiliar to us, and yet we will have no choice other than to move towards it, despite how uncomfortable it may make us at times.
Then, we must also think of Saturn as the planet of karma and what type of baggage that we brought into this lifetime. Saturn is also the planet of restriction. Henceforth, if we are looking at your path in life on top of their karma, to me this would indicate that the karmic lessons that this person has learned in this life are related to your soul's purpose. Know that with Saturn being the planet of restriction this can also indicate that they are either going to hinder your soul's growth, or they are going to make you hyper-focused on that purpose.
Again, the sign and house that this is occurring in will tell you a bit more about the nature of this synastry, but a few keywords here are: Restriction, Fate, Purpose, and Karma.
I hope this helps!!!

🍥I do not recommend dating someone who has ur chiron sign- in one way or another they will hurt you unconsciously and trigger you 😔😔😭😓🫣of course this is good in a way because all trauma is meant to be healed ❤️‍🩹🩺🩻but you have to be with someone who is conscious of the hurt they are causing. The chiron person is only really meant to surface these hurts not heal them. Think about it: ur chiron sign is literally embodying the wound that u have so to date that sign is like dating a walking red flag 🚩
🍥People with prominent Jupiter aspects to their ascendant, sun, midheaven will naturally just emit light ! ✨🌞🌻 u shine ! U so sparkle ! Jupiter expands anything it touches, so imagine having sun 🌞 aspecting Jupiter: big energy, big beam of light !!! They also have the loudest, biggest laughs lmao- this is me and everyone always tells me they love how much I laugh at everything/have the biggest guffaw- sound like a dang donkey🐴 sometimes srry not srry 🥲🥲🥲
🍥Someone with a lot of mutable placements absolutely needs fixed energy to ground and stabilize them 😇🥺when it comes to synastry. Especially when it comes to moon sign compatibility. Mutable moons are legit the most moody 🌝😩🌚Cardinal can work too but sometimes feelings will burn out quickly 🐒🔥🌪️💦
🍥However with that said: have y’all ever dated ur opposite moon sign ??? Because that sh*ts fire 🔥
🍥Be careful who you meet romantically during mars or Venus retrograde ⏪⏮️these are past lovers that come back to try sumthin, sumthin out again. Like I went on a dating app 🤪during mars ☄️retrograde and had a super casual fling that burned out super quickly💥💥💥but not with some big lessons. The seggs will be ahmazing because youve fucked around before lol 🍌✨ are the lessons worth it tho, who knos 🥲
🍥Libra and Taurus placements will always be attractive ! trust ! Venus blesses them in some way or another 🌸💅🧖‍♀️ pretty privilege y’all ✨Scorpio and Aries placements will always be sessy, trust ! mars gives them sexy privilege 🍌🍆🌶️ if u got both in ur big three, boy r u trouble 😈
🍥I read somewhere that when you’re embodying your true soul essence you take on ur vedic/sidereal placements: literally have been feelin my triple fire 🔥 placement in vedic ! 😬🌶️🔥
🍥Neptune+mercury placements ….you literally manifest when you speak so be careful what u wish for 🫶 it’s because Neptune: higher spiritual plane, angels 👼, ancestors and then mercury: communication: u are literally speaking to angels mmkay 🥲✨🫶
🍥If you lack fire 🔥 in ur chart, u tend to run V cold 🥶 like ur probs the friend who has cold hands and feet constantly ! Me 🙋‍♀️
🍥Too much mercury in ur chart or air placements can make u constantly in ur head: like u can’t detach ur mind from ur body and soul. It’s gonna be hard 4 u to meditate 🧘‍♀️ tbh. I recommend breath work 4 y’all, so u can get more in tune with ur body/or working out, running, moving ur body 🕺💃🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♀️🤹‍♀️
🍥biggest flirt placements of the zodiac goes to Aries, Gemini, Libra and Sagittarius- if u have all four shidddd…I hope ur significant other is ok 🥲 honorable mention: Pisces (but it’s cus we fall in love like 5 times a day…doesn’t mean we actually know how to flirt tho..we’re just sweet lovers by nature) Aries, Gemini, libra and Sag are the ultimate smooth talkers of the zodiac 🥵
🍥biggest non flirts of the zodiac goes to Capricorn, Virgo, Scorpio, Taurus. Ur flirting style is basically being mean, uninterested or cold. Earth+ Scorpio is very self contained, they like to keep it together and flirting feels stupid and petty. When in a mood, they don’t want to talk to anyone unless there’s a reason for it..like what do u want ? Tell me what u want, set a date and make a plan. Also lez be real: their main love is cash money 🤑
That’s all y’all 🍭🎨🤹‍♀️🤹‍♀️🤹‍♀️🤹‍♀️💅💅💅💅💅☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️🧋🧋🧋🧋🧋🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
Hope y’all have a magical day 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶
Thanks for reading+scoping !! 🥰

♡ The Moon Conjunct Sun Synastry aspect indicates that you both have the potential to make each others life whole, as the Sun and Moon in general are natural companions and complete each other. There’s a real understanding and agreement here, the instincts of the Moon and the expression of the Sun matches with this aspect. Both people agree on a lot of things and they appreciate each other's reactions and responses to things. They feel comfortable in each others company and may feel as if they can read each others minds as they just know what the other needs & wants.
💞💞💞
♡ Juno Conjunct Juno Synastry is often a marriage indicator as Juno represents commitment. You may feel as though you've found the love your life with this aspect, you are each others ideal type of partner and understand each other deeply. This may or may not be your ultimate significant other or "a twin flame" perse, but they could be one of your soulmates. (Even if it's just a soulfriend, they are here to guide you through your life)

Vertex in Synastry
Vertex is a sensitive point on the chart that is associated with fated or destined encounters and experiences. When looking at a synastry chart, Vertex can indicate significant, fated, or karmic connections between them.
When one person's Vertex makes a significant aspect to another person's personal planet or angle, such as the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or Descendant, it creates a powerful and transformative connection between the two. This can manifest in various ways, such as an instant recognition or sense of familiarity, a feeling of "meant to be,", soulmates, twinflames or a deep sense of purpose or destiny in the relationship.
The Vertex in synastry can also indicate areas of growth and learning for the people involved, as it may bring to the surface unresolved issues or past life connections that need to be addressed in order to move forward in the relationship.
When one person's planet or point makes an aspect with the other person's Vertex, it indicates a strong attraction or a significant turning point in the relationship. The planet or point involved in the aspect can reveal the type of connection or energy that is being activated.
There are several Vertex aspects that can indicate a fated meeting or a karmic connection between two people. Some of the most significant Vertex aspects to look for are:
Vertex conjunct North Node: Ceates a strong karmic connection and a sense of destiny or fate in the relationship. The North Node represents the lessons and challenges that an person needs to learn in this lifetime, and when it is in conjunction with the Vertex, it means that the relationship is meant to help both individuals grow and evolve.
Vertex conjunct Sun or Moon: Suggests a strong attraction and a sense of destiny or fate in the relationship. The Sun represents the person's core identity and purpose, while the Moon represents their emotional needs and inner world.
Vertex conjunct Mercury: The two have a strong and fated connection related to communication and learning. They have a natural rapport and understanding of each other's thoughts and ideas, and are able to support each other's intellectual growth and development.
Vertex conjunct Venus or Mars: Creates a very strong sexual and romantic attraction, and a sense of fate or destiny in the relationship. Venus represents love, beauty, and harmony, while Mars represents passion, desire, and action.
Vertex conjunct Saturn or Pluto: Suggests a significant karmic lesson or challenge in the relationship. Saturn represents restriction, discipline, and responsibility, while Pluto represents transformation, power, and intensity.

Astro Observation - The 8th House & Karmic Debt 💸💰💵💰💵💰💸
SYNASTRY OF KARMIC DEBT & GIVING
The 8th house can show you who you feel you owe & who you feel owes you! This can be money, time, energy, and more
8H = debt, money, shared finances, karma (death & rebirth), shared resources
- When someone has planets in your 8th house—you will feel drawn to give to them.

Venus opposite Pluto (6 degrees or less)
Creates a magnetic attraction towards people, places, aesthetics, friendships, music, art we find mysterious and very different from us. There is an intensity in love, there can be an addictive quality within relationships. You or your partner (this can swing back and forth like a pendulum) can become jealous, obsessed, abusive, secretive, manipulative. This can create deep subconscious power struggles. There is an intense nature in you when it comes to love and relationships. In your formative years you could really struggle with feeling bullied or different than your peers. These feelings can lead to poor self esteem/ self image. You feel like you need love, so you might take anything you can get. You might even coerce or manipulate “Gods plan” in some way. For example: stalking someone you admire, waiting until they’re single and then pouncing on the opportunity to pretend as if you didn’t know they’d just broken up with their partner… pretending as if it was just “coincidence” that you got the urge to call/email/text out of seemingly no where.
Really, you don’t have to coerce, beg or manipulate. You have the magnesium, but patience and healthy expectations are key.
Pluto represents the dark, taboo, crime, drugs, dangers and sexuality wether that be “healthy” or abusive.
Venus represents love, relationships, aesthetic, pleasures, art, music.
These two in opposition can lead to being attracted to the exact opposite of what you are.
If you have Venus opposite Pluto in synastry this can feel like a karmic connection. You want to explore the depths of one another. You can feel addicted to your lover. It can feel like you can’t stop thinking or wanting more of them. This can be great between two people who respect themselves but it’s not so good for those who have no self love, because you can really sacrifice yourself for “love” and end up dead or broken inside.
Composite Venus opposite Pluto can be love at first sight or hate at first sight. There can be a magnetic pull or a hurling repulsion. There is a deep connection, penetrating interaction with one another. This can border on the side of obsession, jealousy and possessiveness. The individuals in the relationship can heal immensely through bringing up past wounds and buried traumas to the surface to be expressed, acknowledged and mended. This aspect can help them face their fears when it comes to abandonment, letting go, judgements, and over all the fear of exile and death. This relationship will be transformative.

Understanding the OPPOSITION aspect in SYNASTRY
Tumblr media
An elaborated piece about the essence of the opposition aspect in your natal chart is here.
It is a good point to start before plunging into its meaning in the synastry.
To summarise. Whether or not we see it, any quality that we have in us is only alive because of its opposition.
SYNASTRY opposition is the sacred tool for us to recognise the opposition in ourselves. Often it is considered being the most difficult aspect between the two charts, and on some level it is.
The deeper you are willing to explore, the more you appreciate any difficult aspect, and the aspect of opposition -  in particular.
Besides understanding WHAT does this aspect mean in the charts of the two of you, you really want to understand WHY.
Answering to this question may take your partnership to a new level.
First, opposition is the same thing that is … a conjunction…but - in the opposite way.
When the two things conjunct, we often think that they become one. There is a union, a mixture. Rarely do we get to see that the new union (which results from the conjunction) has the new opposition in itself.
In the synastry chart, opposition can signify several types of interaction between the energies of the two.
(Please note that although synastry chart mostly refers to the intimate partnerships or friendships, it also includes any other one- on - one relationship like: teacher - apprentice, doctor - patient, client - provider, etc.)
The first type of the opposition is a fight between the two very different qualities. This energy of “fighting”, however, may give an intense arousal in the domain of sexual interaction. And often it is considered being an aspect of passion. But outside of it, this type of the opposition will hugely complicate things, make the energy sharp, or heavy, or tight (depending on the planets), and the sense of fight (“either this, or that” feeling) will always prevail. One partner will feel like the win is theirs, and the other one will have to feel they have lost. Here the compromise usually feels unnatural, and boundaries-breaking for one of the partners.
Another type of the opposition is the ability (usually unconscious) of the partners to distribute the energy in such a way that both parts feel satisfied and in charge while moving towards the same goal. Usually, it refers to the opposition of the planets that signify manifestation of an outward action. Sun - Sun opposition, for example. Mars - Mars can be extremely constructive for a project building as well. But on the level of the emotional spheres, this opposition is still a huge cornerstone. The two people will intrinsically feel there is a pull - push game going on at the energy level, but both are not willing to give away their “share”. Sometimes this is totally unconscious and stems from an insecurity. Energetic vampirism is a common result of this type of the opposition in the chart. In the intimate sphere, it can be very exciting at first, but irritating in the end.
The next level type of the opposition between the two will provoke a healthy interest, an intense curiosity about the “otherness” of the other. Here, this opposition is already felt consciously as a tool to see one’s own opposite sides that have to unite. Sexually, it will have less physical intensity than in the first type of the opposition, but emotionally and sensually it may bring a vast spectrum of colours between the two. However, on the mental level, the two partners usually become pretty discerning and may be inclined to have a mental game (or manipulation) around each other's opposite sides. Depending on the planets, this game can be very resourceful, or exhausting. But usually, it will only lead these two to a more comprehensive understanding of themselves and the meaning of their partnership.
And the ultimate level of the opposition would be a union. Here, both partners have accepted the opposite sides of the signs, where the synastry opposition is set, so well that their ability to enjoy this aspect creates the sense of integrity. Whether this is a unified outward action, the energy in the realm of feeling, or a sexual ritual, this opposition will feel like the most complete wholeness. Moon in Capricorn versus Moon in Cancer union will feel like the deepest emotional connection where a healthy structure holds an emotional blanket of another person, and both of them feel centred and deeply seen by each other. (The same aspect at the first level will give lots of tears, coldness and misunderstandings to both).
The opposition of a Taurus Venus to a Scorpio Pluto at this level may create a union where the esoteric power becomes so harmonious and respectful to the material world of beauty that it creates something healing, earthly, but deeply transformative and sensually hypnotizing at the same time - be it a project, or an intimate act. On the lower level, however, this opposition is a synonym of obsession, jealousy, and lots of tears again …
Remember, there is a middle point in any opposition.
On the higher level, this point is a golden ratio, where the two opposite qualities find its perfect balance. On the lower level, it is a grey zone where the opposite qualities mix in a chaotic fight.
Whether your synastry chart is playing out at the higher level, or the lower level, it is exactly what you need.
But if you feel you need more, then it is the right time.
Drop me a line for a personal look at your chart.
Yours,
AlSheren

hey! :) i've been looking everywhere but it's a little difficult to research this topic. maybe you have some insight. can you talk a little bit about relationships between family members, friends, and the kinds of people you attract in your life or are attracted to? what makes some people feel so familiar to you even if it's the first time you've met them? or any themes about platonic/family relationships. thank you! <3
Your relationship with your family and close friends are often karmic relationships. When we explore karmic relationships, South Node/Ketu and Neptune are the two best places to look at first. When looking at the synastry between your family, look if your/their nodes or Neptune contact your/their personal planets. It can give insight into what personal lesson you’re meant to learn with that person in this life or what kind of relationship you had in a previous lifetime. Also, having the same Moon sign, element, or modality as someone can make them feel really familiar and comfortable with you.
For example, Beyoncé and her sister Solange both have fixed moons in Scorpio and Aquarius, respectively. Beyoncé’s South Node in Aquarius is also conjunct Solange’s Moon in Aquarius. Solange’s South Node in Libra is conjunct Beyoncé’s Venus in Libra. They inspire each other artistically and their energy is so familiar and synergistic when they are together.

8TH House Synastry: The Dilemma
This is my own personal interpretation of how someone would feel moving on from an 8th house connection (I have 12th house placements & a Scorpio moon that squares my Neptune)
Tumblr media
It's so easy to say you've moved on from this person, sometimes they don't linger in your thoughts, sometimes they don't consume your mind, sometimes they don't even give you this high that you have felt from their gaze,
and then sometimes their presence becomes this unwarranted need, suddenly their eyes are the only thing that can make you feel okay, accepted and whole.
weeks, months even can go by and you tell yourself "i'm doing good, i haven't thought about them consistently for a few weeks" and then out of no where, you run into them,
you see their face, your stomach drops, your eyes fixate on their presence, and you suddenly feel the void within screaming their name.
in this instance; they don't make eye contact with you, they avoid conversation and withdraw their attention, and the part of you that says you've moved on disappears.
suddenly their lack of assurance shatters any value within, they aren't bringing that sense of peace or reassurance your soul craves and now all you can feel is this pit of pain in your stomach,
all you can feel is that you're not good enough, not worthy enough, and not valued enough,
all you can feel is that lack of wholeness you wish you could fix, and yet the one thing that would make everything feel better is them.
you're trying to move on, you know you have to let this part of you go, but saying good bye to them is saying goodbye to the one key that unlocks your ability to accept vulnerability, romance, and love.
you want nothing more than to share a connection with someone who your body deems as "safe", and their eyes are the only things that allow the parts of you that you wish you could be okay with, be accepted.
how do you say good bye to the one key that makes you feel the acceptance you can't feel on your own?
Tumblr media
(this is why 8th house synastry constantly goes through cycles and loops, the highs and lows their soul gives you is never ending, especially if you are trying to heal your fear within. sometimes it feels amazing but when it's not amazing, all you are confronted with are all the inner voids your soul can't escape from)
Tumblr media
These are my personal thoughts; I have a Scorpio Moon, 12th house placements with my Moon squaring Neptune and Venus sextiling Neptune, 8th house synastry hits me in my core; more so than the next considering I have a disorganized attachment style, but I wanted to write this to let other people know that you're not alone in healing from 8th house or Pluto connections. Saying good bye to them is like saying good bye to the one thing your soul craves the most, you're not alone

Hi ! :)) someone asked you about nodes in synastry and I just read that post, it's very insightful. I have the same question as anon about nodes being karmic. I got ketu in my 2nd house and my man got Jupiter in 2nd house. Can my ketu harm him in any way since the 2nd house is of finance and family ? Is ketu negative in synastry? What's the past life connection here?
Also what do you think about this conjunction as a whole in synastry?
I'd be grateful for your response ♡
🌷your blog is much resourceful and full of Vedic knowledge. I hope it grows more and reaches a lot more people. Thank you 🫶
Hello 🤗.
Thank you for the appreciation & your kind wishes 😌😋.
No , your ketu will not harm his 2nd house significations.
He might have been your husband , guru , etc in previous lives.
This synastry in 2nd house indicates that the specifications of these houses- wealth , possessions, family, value , have been mutually dealt with in past lives . Thus there is an innate understanding of this house between both of you.
Having a spiritual base to the relationship will deeply help you both too .
Check for other factors too , that support the relationship :) 💕✨💠

Astro Interactive Talk: 12th H Synastry
Everybody always talks about 12th H synastry when it comes to a romantic relationships but has anyone ever dealt with 12th H Synastry with Family Members?
I’m a Libra rising with Virgo in my 12th H and I come from a very toxic dysfunctional family. Virgo moon, Moon square Pluto, Mercury Square Mars, Mars & Neptune in the 4th with a lot of other negative aspects squaring my Mars. I also have Chiron in the 3rd.
My two sisters are Libras with Virgo placements and my mom is a Virgo stellium. Needlessly to say, they fall into my 12th H. I didn’t think much of it until I recently encountered my first 12th H synastry romantically with a Libra Sun guy and he has Virgo Placements too. He hurt me a lot, in result It made me interested in looking into my family’s charts since they are Libra’s too. Now I finally understand why I always felt like the black sheep, why I always felt like they were always trying to argue with me, and I was constantly bullied and taught to “deal with it now because how am I going to deal with it when I get into the real world.” I literally want to run away but I don’t know where to go and I have no money save. Idk.
If you have dealt with 12th H synastry with family, what was your experience like? And how DID you overcome or how are you currently overcoming it?

Hii! 💖 my lover's venus is jupiter and south node is in my 12th house? my sun is jupiter and my north node is in its 12th house? a karmic relationship, a soul mate or something else?🥹😍🙋🏽‍♀️
Venus conjunct Jupiter: A positive and harmonious connection, fostering love, generosity, and enjoyment between two people. There's a sense of abundance and expansiveness in the relationship, where both feel uplifted and inspired by each other.
South Node in your 12th house: A past-life connection or karmic theme related to hidden or spiritual matters. There's unfinished business or karmic lessons to be addressed in this lifetime, particularly in the areas such as spirituality, introspection, and hidden talents.
Sun conjunct Jupiter: Brings optimism, growth, and confidence to the relationship. The relationship provides opportunities for personal and mutual expansion, and the two support each other's aspirations and growth.
North Node in his 12th house: Also indicates a karmic or destined connection. The relationship involves a shared spiritual or transformative journey, and the two help each other navigate deeper layers of the self.

Hello~ what planets (or aspects) we need to look if we want to know about life lessons (or Karmic lessons) in a synastry chart?
I hope it makes sense.. Thank you for this amazing blog! 💛💛💛 Have a nice day!!! 🌻
Oh so I think these two lessons are quite different lessons that should be looked into separately.
Life lessons for the connection, the relationship in a synastry chart is indicated by North Node, it's like life purpose of the connection. For growth look at Jupiter, for limitations, challenges, restrictions in life in the connection look for Saturn. Pluto for inner changes, transformations and needed change.
And karmic lessons look for South Node, maybe even Saturn in the 1st house, 6th house, 10th house, but more so South Node.
You are amazing as well thank you due to interacting with this astrology blog and hanging in our little astrology online club.
