Acab always me and my friends were at a park today and we were having a picnic in a ''closed'' area (i was there the other day and it was full of people, i assumed it was fine (also these parks have always been all open to the public with no problems) so i carabinieri (carabinieri di merdaa) told us we couldn't stay there, we apologised and we were moving and this fucking bitch told us ''there are signs, can't you read?'' RAGA. RAGA. NON HO DETTO NIENTE O MI PORTAVANO VIA IN MANETTE. Fuck the police. I MEAN. We can't be there and it's fine. We were moving. Why do you have to be such a fucking bitch. ALSO. ALSO. THESE FUCKING PARKS NEVER HAD CLOSED AREAS. YOU COULD GO WHEREVER YOU WANTED. THEY SEEDED IT AND THAT'S WHY IT WAS CLOSED. THE GRASS WAS GROWN. KILL KILL KILL.

Swinging went wrong tonight
it wasn’t til I was done fucking a couple tonight that we found out this fucker was a conservative cop…. I fucked a goddamn pig without realizing. I feel stupid and disgusting.
but another part of me also already got this idiot to share secrets from his job which is super beneficial as an activist. If I stomached how sick the concept makes me feel - I could basically spy on and have blackmail material on a piggy for leftists in my area. That’s hella valuable as a commie/leftist. And tbh I feel dirty and used because I didn’t know til after and I need to get SOMETHING out of this or I’ll feel this gross for no reason at all which doesn’t help me wanting to swing anymore.
I feel sick. Gross. Acab

“kill the cop in your head” is supposed to be used in instances where a person is assuming the worse in a another person/group based on a prejudiced thought (ex/ “this person is talking to themselves at a bus stop they’re probably on drugs and are going to hurt me best call the police for my safety 😌” or “that person says they’re poor but I saw them getting Starbucks they should continue to be homeless since they are spending frivolously) not for stupid ass lgbt label bullshit, fandom nonsense, gross ass “kinks”or used to shame black people calling out you’re favorite blog for antiblackness

Every time you think, "Oh, I don't have [x condition], I'm basically cured!" that is the devil talking. You aren't cured, you are likely going through periods of your symptoms waning. Don't cease whatever you're doing to help yourself, like medication, for instance, because it's likely you still have the conditions or symptoms, even if you aren't noticing them as frequently or severely.

action items white people can consider to make fandom spaces more inclusive for bipoc:
rec/kudos/comment on fanworks made by poc
consider what roles characters of color take in your own work. do black and brown characters exist solely as emotional support for central white characters? are black and brown characters sidelined for white character arcs? do black and brown characters appear solely to Talk About Racism (aka be the Magical or moralizing force for a narrative)?
(consider: Not Doing That)
reflect on whose voices get centralized/prioritized in any given narrative
listen to poc who express discomfort/frustration/critique of the text or fanon without feeling the need to defend either (or recognize you don't need to insert yourself into some conversations)
conversations around racism in fan spaces almost always get derailed into debates about ships or The Literal Text, but in my experience some of the most alienating aspects of fandom are the subtle ways that white people signal us as "other," i.e. acting as though race and queerness are distinct categories (there are queer bipoc! we invented a lot of queer culture!), framing nonwhite characters as unrelatable or undesirable, and reproducing stereotypes in fanon narratives. these become exhausting to encounter, whether or not we're part of the larger fandom ecosystem, and because it's systemic, it becomes impossible to avoid. which means white people's escapism corner is another site that poc have to navigate very, very carefully.

I love kanaya and karkat, they're like siblings, like besties-but-not-quite, karkat looks up to her because she's like the only troll who's comfortable showing respect for others and who he feels at least kind of gets him, and kanaya's like "he helps me feel like my life isn't drastically different and I haven't lost everything I used to love from my childhood"
like they love each others but not in a relationship way or a friendship way their existence just makes them feel a little more validated and comforted

My fave thing about Jack on rewatch was realizing how internally unlike Sam he is, despite the symbolic, structural blocks of being a “gifted kid.” Emotionally? Nah.
Not if you’re paying attention.
I feel like @dawg-motif really helped me puzzle that out re: Jack’s valuation of blunt honesty and need for space and processing. And after that, it’s like Jack’s entire arc clicked into place for my brain.
There is such a temptation in fandom to assume he’s a copy-pasta of Sam because of his “doomed child” motif, or that he’s like Cas because of his literal-mindedness and sass. But emotionally? Not even close.
Or worse, there can be as assumption that his “performing!Jack” is how how he actually feels about things... Falling for Jack’s sunshiney ditzy act is like falling for Dean’s mythical Marlboro man act.
