𝐋𝐀𝐙𝐔𝐋𝐈. （ KRAN frametype by @cuppajj ）

A sweet & composed bot who often thought of others' well-being than her own, oftentimes that led her to being in harm's way and to where Lazuli is now, on a planet filled with organic life faraway from the home she once knew.

WARNING: long post !

As Lazuli traveled far from Cybertron to escape from the madness that is her crazy ex-partner, then one thing led to another, a massive ship malfunction caused her black out to wake up in a random planet.

In a state of shock and bewilderment but quickly calming down, after she finds herself having crash landed onto an unknown planet.

Suddenly, there were noises coming from outside which worries her a bit on what awaits her outside her ship, however, a strange turn of events, shockingly revealed...several blue little creatures the size of her foot is outside looking at her with large beady eyes, unexpectedly having a staring contest as she was still in disbelief of everything that's happening to her right now, slowly entering back into her ship and closing the door in front of her... Lazuli tries to pretend that everything's fine until the little creatures from outside screamed, "WE FOUND DA QUEEN", she flinched and turned her helm, thinking 'primus help me'.

While trying to calmly tell these little creatures that she was not their queen, it didn't seem to register it in their minds and they still happily took her to their village and Lazuli a bit frustratedly followed since they wouldn't leave her alone in the ship.

Considering how large she was compared to everyone else, all of them noticed her presence then the other creatures started to gather around her admiring, praising, and celebrating the fact that they found their queen at long last and unfortunately for her, it was not easy to hide the fact she was feeling a mix of embarrassment and confusion even if she tries to cover her faceplate with her servo.

Finally, after wandering around the place, they lead her to a large tree with lots of leaves in front of it made for her arrival which surprised Lazuli but she appreciated it and chuckled, sitting on the makeshift cushion leaves and rested against the large tree, Lazuli watches them all celebrate and party in front of her.

None of this made one bit of sense to her.

SMALL HEADCANONS:

Lazuli still appreciates the little blue guys for giving her a home and doesn't regret that much that she protects them all from the big creatures that may attack or eat them while being their queen. She treats all of them like they're her children.

Back then, she struggled to adjust to the environment around her, always watching her surroundings and where she goes to avoid stepping on the little creatures, slipping and crashing onto buildings, etc. Now it's on instinct, naturally moving out of the way, staying in the woods or in open areas where she can interact with her people.

Back in the mines, of course, Lazuli appeared way different from how she looks now, it reminded Lazuli of her purpose, why she was created and things they all had to go through in the mines, she hated it all, however surprisingly, she sadly really missed the krans. Even if no one was close to her, she was still close to them.

BONUS: Lazuli and her ex met in the mines, they're also a kran but I don't think I'll make them into an oc and leave them as a background character for Laz's story unless I change my mind.

SIDE NOTES:

ngl I went all out on her design to make her look unique than the other krans because that's how I saw her wanting to be different like really wanting to be her own person and to be treated as such, and giving her freedom to change now she's on her own. Free to be who she wants to be and do anything she wants to do.

I was kinda worried that I might messed things up but turns out that I really like the outcome of this drawing, the lore and the design ! and makes me a bit eager to make more despite my lack of motivation nowadays. I'm a bit happy that it shows proof of how I've grown better at this too aaaaaaaaa- also fun fact, for her design I was inspired by a cute looking jellyfish and the story was from Princess Peach in that new mario movie / a comic where Rouge was the queen of the ugandan knuckles, I thought It should be funny.

I already have the full-body sketch so I was thinking of adding a translucent cape/skirt/dress thingy as a part of her design similar to the jellyfish because why not, she looks more beautiful in it :))

right now I'm so sleepy and forgetful so sorry that I don't remember much from the kran lore besides a vague desc / gist of it. too lazy to find and re-read the lore rn, might do it later when I'm not that sleepy

edit: I just wanted to also say that I could change anything from the design to the lore if I have an idea that I would like to bring to her character. And that's rn, I wanna think that she could fix her ship and travel to Cybertron so she can meet mine or others' ocs so I can link up their stories!

Laserdrill/Danny

I have been thinking about redesigning Danny for a while and, honestly him being a KRAN just makes sense to me. Also, I like how he turned out. (Even if I messed up a little)

The KRAN frametype and lore was made by @cuppajj

Got his name “Laserdrill” from his laser focus when working in the mines.

He often would shut out everything else while working. Something that would worry some, because Lazerdrill would even forget to refuel, if he wasn’t reminded.

After the initiative was shut down, Laserdrill hopped from planet to planet. Getting a slight frame change, while taking his time to explore the world outside the mines.

During his travels, he met a flier named Strawberry, who he became friends with. (They started to travel together afterwards.)

As the war broke out, Laserdrill joined the Autobots, mostly because his friend did. Even though he didn't fully support them, he still tried to do his best.

Somehow, Laserdrill ended up on earth together with Strawberry, where the two got separated during an ambush. And as he tried to run away, Laserdrill was shot in the head. A group of miners found him afterwards, and instead of reporting him to the authorities, they carted him off to an empty mine, where they then tried to repair him.

It did work and Laserdrill came back online, although with no memory of who or what he was.

Hearing this, the oldest of the miners decided to take Laserdrill under his wing. Making sure to visit the mech whenever he could and keeping others away from the mine as best as he could. He also gave Laserdrill the name “Danny”, because that was the only name the confused mech would answer to.

With time, and after hearing how the miners were struggling with digging tunnels, Danny started helping them out. Which quickly earned him a spot on the team.

This proved to be a blessing and a curse. A blessing to the miners, because their productivity skyrocketed, but a curse to Danny, because he was now struggling with processor aches whenever he did something that reminded him of his past life. Sometimes, he would even get flashbacks of his fellow KRAN’s, which would then lead to him calling his human friends by their names, without even realizing it. The humans often played along when something like that happened.

During his work, Danny stumbled upon some Energon and started harvesting it. And with him not knowing how to process it, he started eating it raw. Which took some time getting used to, but now Danny couldn’t imagen consuming Energon any other way.

Danny, despite his processor aches, loved his life as a miner on earth. He didn’t mind having his movement restricted and only being allowed to live in the mines. Not as long as he had his friends to work with him. But after years of working with the miners, they suddenly stopped coming. Danny only found out years after that the mining project was stopped.

So, with nothing else to do, Danny decided that it was finally time to leave the mines and look for something new. Maybe he could even find a way to recover his lost memories and figure out who he was before his amnesia. And, maybe, he would also finally find out who the faceless bots, whose names he keeps on calling, were.

Somewhere along the way, Danny was picked up by a grumpy Toymaker and his Apprentice. Living with them onboard their toyshop and mostly helping them with carrying around their heavier boxes.

So who’s this guy? His name is Atlas. It took me a long while to figure out his name since I’m horrible with naming things but I think the name Atlas suits him.

HEYO! Wanted to make a fanart of @cuppajj oc Drillburst! (not bust. Not sure why I’ve been saying bust this whole time). I also added my oc’s because the small scenario was kind of fun.

Reintroductions (A Transformers Short Fic - Ft. Drillburst)

Synopsis: Drill's friend knows things he shouldn't know about.

A/N: Hey there! This fic includes @cuppajj 's OC Drillburst! He's rlly cool, you should check him out! This also has my own OC named Control Switch! I don't have a ref or complete design for her yet but it'll come soon! P.S, Switch's pronouns are they/she/he!

The former miner watched as the group of mechs left to discuss with one another. He then slowly turned his helm to the bot chained to the chair, who had started tapping their pedes and humming tunes mindlessly.

He stared at them with solemn optics. The miner felt an array of emotions he didn't understand completely.

Was it disappointment? Was it rage?

What he did know was that confusion was a big part of what he was feeling.

Looking down at "Visual", Drillburst opened his mouth to try and say something, but no words came out. And in response, the chained bot lowered their helm and chuckled in an airy voice that was slightly raspy.

Drillburst's optical ridges furrowed. How could he find amusement in this?

"What's wrong? Can't find the right words to say or are you just bewildered? Perhaps the cat got your tongue?"

The green mech was silent for a while before answering, "Have you really been lying to me this whole time? About everything?"

He still couldn't believe it. "Visual" was his ally. Someone he thought he could trust…

If only he knew they were a runaway criminal from the beginning.

"Visual" gave the musician a smile that was crooked by soft nervousness. "Yes. I did, in fact, lie to you about many things. Like how my name isn't 'Visual'".

The Kran only kept silent and looked away as the TV waited in anticipation. The dark room was filled with an uneasy silence which was broken by the black bot.

"If you're so upset about me being dishonest with you, how about we start over again? From the beginning", they proposed sounding brighter than ever, which only deepened Drillburst's frown.

Even so, with the reset of a vocalizer, they introduced themselves once more to the musician.

"I'm Control Switch of Nowhere, but you can call me Switch," they beamed. "It's nice to meet you, Drillburst of the Velux Subterranean Harvesting initiative!

Former miner, mercenary, victim of the Decepticon phase sixer Overlord in Garrus-9 and an outlier with the power of self-combustion."

Drillburst snapped his optics open. He never told them anything about his past.

The mech stared at Control Switch with wavering optics, but the bot only smiled. "I don't suppose any more introductions are needed from you!

I already know who you are."

I made this on a whim. Anyways i made this even tho none of you know who Control Switch is lmao! Well, here's a short, lousy description:

They/He/She. Has a TV for an alt mode. Currently under the alias "Visual". Has 15 other aliases which includes his most infamous one: Cosmopolitus, who was a writer, podcaster and the Cybertronian version of a YouTuber. Is a secret criminal on the run because she secretly stole a slag ton of confidential and clandestine information from the government (the Council, the Senate, the Autobots, the Decepticons and probably more). Is an outlier and calls their ability "Nexus" and said ability allows her to control bots like puppets and switch frames with them (it's kinda like spark merging without the commitment). Really secretive and hides under a facade most of the time

Okay, so, I was playing around with the Hikaku Sitatter again. It's a site where you can put in heights and you get a height chart, and I made one for my Transformers Ocs... And... well...

I JUST REALIZED RECORD IS ONE TALL BOY! And his height isn't even the actual height of his alt-mode. A Lockheed C-5 Super Galaxy has a lenght of 75.53m those are 24780,18 feet. Which means he could just step on his foes and take them out that way.

And then there is Flinch, who's alt-mode is also way longer than his height. A Blackbird has a lenght of 32.73m, that's 107.4 feet. That means he's also a tall boy and his fear of stepping on his Minibot friends is even more justified. I mean, look at Silverlining. He's just a spot there.

This also means, their ship is huge, or at least has very high hallways.

Also, both Record and Flinch can give other Cybertronians a ride in their alt-mode no matter what, and I like that.
