This is what happens when I wait a little bit more, than one should have. I just paused after every few chapters, took deep breaths and yelled at the wall for not picking up the book sooner! This is what happens, when I skip book one in the series and dive straight into book two. It is not my fault though, you people were raving about it, so, I picked it up! And then get spoiled and don't know how to go back to read the first installment. This is what happens, when you enter the party late. The man is taken by so many, and yet, I cannot take my mind of off him. So, I stalk him, in every page, know all the thoughts, he has, how he likes it. And I am not ashamed by it. There are questions floating around my mind. Should I change my occupation? Should I change my name? Continent? Hair color? What should I do, to find a guy like him? I truly have nothing but a happy face right now, let me tell you something, its being a long time since I’ve read something by Kristen Callihan, but the moment I started this book, I remembered why I love everything she writes, she gives us such genuine characters and fresh stories, I loved Delilah and Macon, I couldn’t have given a better ending for their story. Delilah Baker is the daughter every parent wants to brag about, she’s sweet, an excellent cook and even a better sister; she’s one of a kind who speaks her mind, what you see is what you get; but behind all that she always tries to protect everyone she loves, and she does that without asking for something in return. Macon Saint is the boy who made Delilah’s life hell in High School, he was the popular guy everyone wanted to hang out with, yet the people he was surrounded by never truly saw him for what he really was, only her and he couldn’t figure out why he used to feel confused around Delilah. _____________________________________________ Nachtsonne von Laura Newman habe ich von einer lieben Freundin zum Geburtstag bekommen. Das Buch kam signiert, sowie mit Autogrammkarte und vielen Extras. Das hat mich ganz besonders gefreut und ich werde dazu auf jeden Fall noch einen extra Beitrag posten! Weiterhin habe ich sehr auf A Court of Wings and Ruin hingefiebert, da ich A Court of Mist and Fury total gefeiert habe! Acomaf zählt definitiv zu meinen absoluten Lieblingsbüchern. Anders als erwartet habe ich jedoch nicht sofort mit Acowar begonnen, da ich Angst habe, dass es mir nicht gefällt und ich dann enttäuscht bin. Sehr dämlich. Aber bis ich mich ans Lesen traue, bewundere ich diese Schönheit einfach im Regal. Starters habe ich durch Zufall in einer Wühlkiste bei Tedi gefunden und da ich wusste, dass es vor einiger Zeit ziemlich beliebt war, habe ich einfach mal zugegriffen. Und ich habe es nicht bereut! Ich musste es sofort beginnen und habe es innerhalb weniger Tage durchgelesen. Eine Dystopie ganz nach meinem Geschmack! Eine Rezension folgt später noch auf meinem Blog (auf Goodreads könnt ihr sie jetzt schon lesen). Und zuletzt erwähnenswert ist natürlich Paper Princess. Das Buch hab ich mir zum Geburtstag schenken lassen, da ich unbedingt wissen wollte, warum es so umstritten ist und weil ich mir eine eigene Meinung bilden wollte! Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich nicht zu den Liebhabern dieses Buches gehöre und auch die positiven Rezensionen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen kann. Eine Rezension habe ich mir gespart, da mittlerweile wohl jeder dieses Buch kennt. Ich habe aber trotzdem nicht bereut es zu lesen, da ich nun endlich weiß worum in diesem "literarischen Meisterwerk" geht ;P. Ich freue mich schon sehr all die Bücher zu lesen!
