Is it me, or does anyone else wanna see a movie of just the Ravengers? Like look at Martinex! My little twinkle toes looks stunning! I wanna know how the ravengers act towards each other and how Stakar, Martinex, Mainframe, Krugar and Gamora act to each other. Is Gamora Stakars new adopted child?

Krugarr and Mainframe look adorable and they seem to care a lot about her. I thought Ravengers weren’t into that sentimental stuff unless that was just a Yondu thing (rejecting affection). Did they hug and card about Yondu the same way they are treating Gamora? I need to know please 🙏

22. what have you learned by proxy of roleplaying and rp researching?

Oh, god. I don't even have a clue where to start! I'll just write some things down.

Regarding RP researching, I've learned a whole host of mundane or bizarre factoids (or at least points of interest) which have absolutely zero impact on my life and which would bore people into walking away from me with a slow shake of their heads (if I were any kind of social butterfly). Google tells me my most recent searches include Krugarr (the alien sorcerer from GotG 3), a history of the Jedi Explorational Corps, Shakespearean love quotes, how many languages Stephen Strange can speak, and what size of shark can fit in an oval bathtub.

With regards to RPing itself, as an activity? I've learned (/realized) that most of us around here have varying feelings of insecurity and really just want some positive attention, some good vibes in this hellhole timeline we've managed to find ourselves in, and that cooperative writing is a fantastic vehicle for it. Also, it feels good to be able to slip into the skin or mindset of another character for 20 minutes, an hour, a few hours, and live a very different life than the one I lead. The escapism is wonderful... and real life is a bitch to come back to! Probably the lesson I'm still working on absorbing is that there is such a thing as too much escapism and that I need to figure out a proper balance to avoid burnout in any aspect of my life. That's less RP and more just Life In General, but RP figures heavily into my daily activities... so it needs to be part of that mental conversation.

The Guardians get a new spaceship... so many of them are so generic it is super hard to keep track of which of them is which in the first place. Oh also, they are finally heading back to Earth which has been having a rough go of it since the crew left.

A Guardians of the Galaxy Fanfic

Dear stars this post is gonna be long.

So in my Christmas fanfic for Guardians of the Galaxy Tullk, Yondu and Kraglin are all still living and by the time Christmas they permanently broke off from the Ravagers and are no contact. Peter however is still in contact and the three don’t care that he is in contact, it’s his life. When they come by for Christmas (or as I am calling it Mercenary’s day which last about a week.) The three (YKT) are greeted by the Ravager Council (Stakar, Aleta, Krugarr, Charlie-27, Martinex and mainframe)

One thing to note why YKT hate the council is because of what they did to Yondu, in my au Yondu still had his Tahlei (fin) until he kidnapped Peter, and after the council figure it out a twisted version of the story (Because they wouldn’t believe Yondu) had tortured Yondu in front of Tullk, Kraglin and Peter. and before they were going to kill him, cut off his Tahlei and shock him with a shock rod on any part of his body. They took turns cutting off/out his Tahlei and Yondu got even worse PTSD. Tullk and Kraglin managed to take Peter back and get Yondu out of that situation. He also got a complete replacement of his fin. like it’s a metal base all the way down to where his Tahlei was and has a laser Fin that would’ve been at the full size of his original one. 

But yeah, they find out that the council is there, and this is after they figure out the true story, and they tried to be sweet and pretend it didn’t happen. However Yondu just pushes them away. YKT just do their best to avoid the council as they love Peter more than they hate the council. Peter was doing some research and figure out a substance called Ichor that can heal anything old, new from a missing limb to scratches. And Peter was trying to track down some for Yondu as a gift. So far it has proven extremely difficult to get and started to talk to Kraglin about it. YKT are all laying on each other, and Kraglin is the only one awake. Stakar and Aleta were on the other couch asleep. Yondu was deep asleep and nothing but food would wake him up. 

Peter talk to Kraglin about the Ichor while Aleta and Stakar overheard (Stakar and Aleta both naturally produce Ichor It’s just a very painful process for it to be extracted.) After they talk Aleta gets up and tell Peter that she and stakar produce it naturally and are willing to donate for Yondu. However Yondu is later told because it was up to him if he wanted Ichor from them. yondu eventually takes the ichor with the promise this doesn’t cover what they did as every one of the council had to pay.
