For some reason this drama got swept under my huge gigantic humongous unwatched list. Im so peeved at myself, I remember wanting to watch it badly then it just got swept under everything. Storyline is basically what you see but so much more, it’s a top tier hilarious kdrama that has a bit of a mystery (it’s sorta obvious) thrown into it. What really makes this special though is the humor and the campiness satire to it. I will put a advisory for those have yet to watch it it can get a bit gruesome sometimes, for example main character, Choi Jin Hyuk, still gorgeous as a zombie by the way, eats raw food especially chicken which can get disgusting. There were times I had to look away and this is someone who loves horror shows, for some reason it just got to me. Nonetheless this series is quirky, cute, and original, it does reminds me a bit of of the western tv series of iZombie which was one of my favorites so maybe that’s why I like it a lot too.

And then randomly, I can see him initiating a game of hide-n-seek in one of the larger sub-stores, having his eyes open the entire time as he didn't wanna risk losing you… After, both of you would enjoy cinnamon pretzels from the mall bakery while making silly wishes at the water fountain ♡

song eunseok - convenience store date

Despite the choice of location being below casual, Eunseok would make it his duty to give you the most romantic first date experience ever. He'd open the car door for you, making sure your seatbelt was on and the AC to your liking before driving to your neighborhood gas station, raiding the snack aisles and buying all of your favorite shelf foods. While enjoying microwaved ramen, canned drinks, and sandwich cookies, you two would talk for hours and never get bored, learning more about each other while simultaneously falling deeper in love ♡

jung sungchan - bowling / rollerblading date

He would constantly try to flex his bowling skills on you, taking pride in how he beat you by fifty points all why using his left hand… Though sometime later, you two would get lost on the skating rink, Sungchan’s large yet gentle hands resting at your hips as he guiding you across the floor, whispering things in your ear like “go slow for me, alright?” and “I’ve got you, princess.” Afterwards while sharing a plate of nachos from the bar, he’d tell the most cringeworthy dad jokes just go see your smile all over again ♡

park wonbin - karaoke night and bar

You two (luckily) had similar taste in music, so the song choices flowed well… not to mention how both of you were a bit tipsy from drinking at the bar earlier, so things got interesting pretty quickly. Wonbin would pull you close to him, gently resting his chin on the crown of your head as you both sang, his hand covering yours over the microphone. The vibrations from his throat would send butterflies through your stomach, making you fumble over the lyrics a bit which would only cause Wonbin to giggle even more ♡

hong seunghan - amusement park

Despite his intimidatingly good looks, Seunghan would make you feel totally comfortable around him. Winning you stuffed animal prizes would be the highlight of the night, aside from you two sharing carnival treats like funnel cakes and milkshakes as you explored all the attractions. He’d be super clingy and touchy, too, holding your hand everywhere you went so everyone knew you were his. And while waiting in line for a rollercoaster, I can see him hugging you from behind, kissing your head with his hands clasped in front of you, just to make sure you felt safe ♡

lee sohee - a picnic date (?)

His initial plan to take you to a fancy dinner turned into something you can hardly even explain now. Instead, you ended up going to the nearest park where your now picnic date began. Sohee would shamelessly gaze at you with the dumbest smile on his face as you spoke, or even blush a little if you had food on your face before wiping it away with his thumb, kissing you on the same spot. Then, you’d skip stones on the nearby lake, pick flowers together, and talk about anything and everything that comes to mind ♡

lee anton - chill house date

Anton’s a soft, sweet, and simple kind of guy, so a chill at-home get-together would be the perfect spot for your first date. While hanging in his bedroom that he decorated before you showed up, you two built legos and solved puzzles together while Anton asked you about your upbringing, also sharing things about himself. Afterwards, y’all would make a giant bowl of ice cream and bake pizza bagels to share while watching random TikTok’s together on the middle of his bedroom floor ♡

Weak Hero Character Names

For those who don't know, the Weak Hero webtoon anglicized a bunch of the characters' first names from Korean to English. They don't do this for newly introduced characters anymore AFAIK, but all the names they anglicized initially have been kept that way.

Since I've gotten a few people asking about the names, so I decided to compile a list of their original Korean names. You can find amost of these on their character profiles on the Weak Hero fandom page, but I figured people would appreciate having a quick reference that is all in one place. Hopefully this helps people learn/connect their original names.

Remember, this is not a full character list, it's for finding the Korean names of the characters that had their names anglicized.

Short Kdramas/Drama Special/Web Drama

Part 3

These dramas happen when nothing I watch grabs me or when I'm too exhausted for long dramas and when I just need something where I could just relax and smile.

Part 1 / Part 2

BingGoo

Bing Goo is a fantasy drama about a man named Go Man Soo (Kim Jung Hyun) who lives in the 70s. His world revolves around the woman he loves Yoo Shin Young (Cha Joo Young), who is very ill. One fateful night, his body is frozen for 37 years. When he wakes up he's in the year 2016 and meets Ha Da (Han Sun Hwa) who will help him face reality.

Time travel is one of my favourite plots so I was excited when I found this drama. And I'm glad I found it because I loved it.

To. Jenny

To. Jenny is a music drama about a young man who expresses his unrequited first love for a girl through music and a young woman who chases after her dream despite a harsh situation.

This drama is so good. I loved Park Jung-min, who is adorable and so ordinary but turns into a completely different person when he shows his love for music. We'll be rooting for him till the end and craving for more.

I loved his younger sister who gave him dating advice and his supportive friends.

I also loved the songs in this little drama. They are definitely the highlight.

Unfortunately, the two hours of episodes are not enough for the closure I desired. I needed more episodes with these characters.

Breakup Probation, a Week

After breaking up with her boyfriend Seo Jae (Hyun Woo), Ga Ram (Kwon Yu Ri) has an accident and dies. A man tells her that her boyfriend tried to save her and is in a coma. He gives her a second chance to go back in time and stop Seo Jae but she only has a week to break up with him.

It's 10 half hour episodes of a fairly enjoyable but heartbreaking drama. The story is nice although a bit predictable. The pace is slow but shine through the multiple flashbacks.

The lead actors were very good and the chemistry is quite sweet. As always Hyun Woo looks like an adorable little puppy.

Kang Deoksun's Love Story

Drama Special KBS2 of 1 episode of 1h and 10 Min. It is set in the year 1926 and is about Deoksun (Kim So Hye) and her personal growth and new friendships.

I really enjoyed the story of the innocent little girl who learns to write and grow as a person. And I was glad that she chose the future she wanted.

Be Positive

Hwan Dong (D.O.) is a film major and has a project to hand in for his graduation but encounters quite a few difficulties and obstacles. He asks his ex-girlfriend Hye-jung (Chae Seo-Jin) to play the main role in his production.

As I'm a D.O. fan I probably enjoyed this little drama a lot more than it deserves. As it only has 6 episodes of about 10 minutes it's not very substantial but it's quite enjoyable and has quite a positive message for youth.

Soundtrack #1

Sun Woo (Park Hyung Sik) and Eun Soo (Ha So Hee) have been friends for 20 years and support each other. Sun Woo has been in love with her for 8 years but in order not to damage that friendship he never confesses his love, until the day they have to live together for a few days.

If you like friends to lovers stories you will love this short drama of 4 episodes of 45 minutes each. As soon as I heard that this drama was available I immediately went to check it out, mainly because I wanted more of Park Hyung Sik after having seen (and loved) him in the drama Happiness. And I must say that I was very satisfied with the drama and I even wish I had seen more episodes and could have gotten to know the characters better.

Eun Soo and Sun Woo together - it was hard for me to accept this relationship, firstly because I'm not a big fan of Han So Hee, secondly because after Happiness, the only girl I wanted to see with PHS was Han Hyo Joo. 😅 But overall, I came to appreciate the two of them together, especially during the scenes of them playing house.

Traces of Love

It's about Ju Yeong (Lee Yoo Young), a strong, independent woman who still has feelings for her ex-boyfriend Ji Sub (Lee Sang Yeob), who she broke up with three years ago. One day, Ji Sub shows up as the new hire in her office and she will have to see him every day.

This one-hour short drama is reminiscent of one of my favourite short dramas - You Drive me Crazy - with the same actress. The only cons is Ju Yeong's personality, who struck me as a bit self-centred and unreasonable. On the other hand, Lee Sang Yeob is always a treat to the eyes with his soothing charm.

Be My Boyfriend

It's about a quiet boy, Lee Seung-Min (Shin Hyun Seung) and the most popular girl in school, Oh Ji-na (Lee Si-woo) who start a fake relationship.

Another web drama of 15 episodes of 13 minutes each. It's a teen romance with a fairly predictable but enjoyable plot and a cute couple. I loved the fact that it's about a contract relationship and that's what made me want to go see this show.

Let Us Meet

Another Drama Special KBS2 of 1 episode of 1h and 10 Min. It is set in the year 1937 and is about Soo Ji (Jo Bo Ah), a countryside girl who goes to a marriage agency run by Joo Oh (Son Ho Jun) to marry a rich man. Review here

XX

XX is a ten episode web drama, with each episode running for only twenty-five minutes. It's about a renowned bartender named Yoon Na Na (Hani) who is the head bartender of XX bar. Her initial goal was to save up and buy XX, but the owner suddenly sells it to Lee Roo Mi (Hwang Seung Eon), who was Na Na's best friend in college but betrayed her.

We have a friends to lovers romance, a best friend who is awesome and reconciliation with the past.

Honestly, I didn't care much for the romance between Na Na and Danny although I really enjoyed seeing Bae In-hyuk in that role and it was a sweet romance. The best part were really the rivalry between the two friends. Hani and Hwang Seung-eon have good chemistry together and it was a pleasure to see their dynamic because they both had strong personalities. I loved every moment of the story because it felt refreshing and intriguing all the way.

Malaikat Asam dari Asia? 😳

Baru-baru ini ada lagu baru girlband kpop yang cukup menarik dan masuk di telingaku, girlgrup baru bernama TRIPLE S sub unit ACID ANGLE FROM ASIA (ACCESS) . Pertama kali aku tahu girl band ini lewat postingan di tiktok berupa potongan clip mv mereka yaitu lewat lagu debut mereka GENERATION, dan waw jujur mereka sangat menarik, mereka punya konsep yang sama seperti New Jeans. Kemudian aku beralih ke youtube untuk liat full MV mereka, lagunya candu banget. Kemudian aku mendengar lagunya satu album full, dan jujurly lagunya ear catching semua. TRIPLES dengan sub unit ACID ANGLE FROM ASIA (ACCESS) membawa warna musik baru yang fresh seperti kakak mereka New Jeans yang saat ini sedang meroket di dunia Kpop saat ini. Sebenernya siapa sih TRIPLES atau ACID ANGLE FROM ASIA ini? bahkan namanya aja sampe 2 begitu.

Berdarkan sumber informasi yang aku peroleh dari kpop.fandom.com. TRIPLES

tripleS (Korean: 트리플에스; Japanese: トリプルS) adalah girl grup yang akan beranggotakan 24 gadis dibawah manajemen grup MODHAUS. Mereka direncanakan akan debut pada tahun 2023. Hingga saat ini mereka baru membocorkan 8 member. Delapan member yang hingga saat ini telah didebutkan yaitu Yoon Seoyeon, Jeong Hyerin, Lee Jiwoo, Kim Chaeyeon, Kim Yooyeon, Kim Soomin, Kim Nakyoung, Gong Yubin.

tripleS direncanakan akan menjadi grup KPOP pertama yang menggabungkan konsep KPOP dan NFT. Masing-masing anggota akan bergantian menjadi sebuah grup, sub-unit, ataupun aktivitas solo yang dipilih oleh fans mereka, selain itu para fans juga yang akan berpartisipasi dan berkomunikasi dengan grup untuk menentukan sub-unit lewat konten di NFT. Konsep grup ini sendiri yaitu para anggota mempunyai kemapuan spesial “S” dan para anggota akan bergabung ke dalam suatu kekuatan dan menunjukkan bakat mereka lewat suatu ‘Dimension’ dan akan menciptakan kembali konsep baru di setiap season.

Setelah melakukan voting perdananya lewat first gravity yaitu ‘GRAND GRAVITY’, dua sub unit perdananya terbentuk yaitu pertama ACID ANGLE FROM ASIA (also known simply as ACCESS) dan kedua +(KR)ystal Eyes. Lewat mini album ACID ANGLE FROM ASIA (ACCESS), ACCESS mendapatkan debut pertamanya dengan 6 track. Adapun sub unit ACCESS ini beranggotakan Kim Yooyeon, Kim Nakyoung, Gong Yubin, Jeong Hyerin.

Beberapa kolom komentar di social media tentang mereka, banyak yang berkomentar positif tentang lagu-lagu mereka yang ear catching serta banyak yang mendukung penampilan mereka, tetapi terdapat pula beberapa komentar negatif knetz yang menyatakan bahwa mereka meniru bahkan copycat total konsep NEW JEANS lewat jenis musik, MV, bahkan style pakaian serta koreografi dance yang dibilang “ga ada ide lain apa!”. Terlepas dari komentar miring itu, aku sangat menikmati konsep yang ditawarkan ACID ANGLE FROM ASIA ini. Apa mungkin nanti gen-5 modelnya kayak new jeans semua?? menarik sih soalnya aku juga suka banget konsep Y2K dan era 90an hingga 200an awal.

tripleS bukan yang pertama kalinya menjadi grup yang mengusung konsep member bertumbuh, sudah ada NCT di SM yang membuat konsep seperti ini sebelumnya. Tapi untuk konsep “berkomunikasi dan berpartisipasti” dengan fans, aku rasa belum ada yang membuat konsep seperti ini sebelumnya. Apa mungkin konsep ini kedepannya akan menciptakan AKB48 group versi korea? mengingat AKB48 tidak mampu menembus pasar korea selatan.

Apapun itu kedepannya, aku harap MODHAUS dengan tripleS dan sub unitnya saat ini mampu sukses membawa warna dan konsep baru di era gempuran girlband, sehingga mampu bersaing dengan top-top agensi kpop. Jujur sih warna baru yang diberikan HYBE entertainment lewat NEW JEANS beneran membuat cuaaaaan dan insecure para top-top agency. Agensi agensi kecil yang gak punya nama dan bisanya cuma ngikutin trend harus bisa bekerja lebih keras agar bisa sukses, terutama bisa di notice kpopers, karena emang sengaruh itu loh.

Excellent. So with no Sonia, stuck in the wilds of Greece and no Mrs. Ann Judge, no subs were collected and there wasn't even a raffle or bingo, with all the donated prizes stored away for next time. Let's hope that the use by dates will be still current !!!

So the meeting turned into a forum, with questions and answers. John told us that the annual trip to Brick Lane was in jeopardy, as he'd just received the invoice but with only 29 or so guaranteed attendees and the rising cost of coach hire he wondered if it was a viable proposition, with it currently working out at £140 per person and all other thoughts of going outside the town were likely to be just as expensive.

Just how to inspire non attendees to bother to turn up, was a poser and Jane from the TWMC said that they were even more so in the same boat and were changing opening times and our group might have to change dates again but one must hold one's horses and nothing has been done just yet. Gas and electricity prices are exorbitantly high and John, with his new smarty meter said just how much it was to boil a kettle.

With still roughly 1,000 people a week suffering from a Stroke in the UK, one wonders just where they're going in their after life. One knows that the TIA and Clotted lot are seen and sent home after just a couple of days but us bleeders surviving for more than the requisite 3 days and with major disabilities and rely on the support and help of others and carers.

I for one wouldn't have got to where I am today without the help and support of the M.S.G. and will try my darnedest to make sure that it continues.

Kira Anda pecandu drama Korea, ada pemberitaan menggembirakan menyenggol drakor hits 2022. Bahkan genre drama Korea yang tayang pada pertengahan tahun ini kendati beragam sedari romantis, seloroh, thriller, konotasi, misteri, sampai action. Kacung tersebut memapah angin afiat bagi para penggemar, terlebih pemainnya pula biar merupakan aktor-aktor ternama. Penasaran apa selalu? Yuk tepat simak selalu rekomendasinya tatkala bawah ini. Pertama, Doctor Lawyer. Rupa dari cerita ini ialah thriller tapi disertai secara nuansa menyandarkan dan medis. Dimana ceritanya mengisahkan tentang Han Yi Han yang diperankan sambil So Ji Sub, adalah seorang dokter bedah yang menyebabkan pasiennya meninggal soalnya adanya malpraktek. Hal ini kemudian memproduksi lisensi medis dari Han Yi Han dicabut oleh karena itu ia kudu beralih profesi sebagai adjuster yang khusus menangani litigasi medis. Ia pun mencoba untuk mengungkap kebenaran daripada kasusnya otonom. Caranya ialah dengan mengerjakan kerja sama beserta Geum Seong Young yang diperankan sama Im Shoo Hyang, seorang jaksa penuntut umum. Akan tetapi ternyata Geum Seong berikut yang sudah kehilangan laksmi dan bagian keluarganya kelanjutan operasi yang sudah dilakukan oleh Han Yi Han. Kedua, Eat, love, Kill. Drama Korea ini mengisahkan tentang Eun Gyee Hoon yang diperankan oleh Yeo Jin Goo. Ia ialah koki yang mengalami kepahitan karena darah daging kembar perempuannya hilang mulai 20 tahun yang dulu. Eun Gyee kemudian mendiamkan pulang ke kampung halamannya dengan wujud membuka restoran di kian. Namun ia justru berjumpa dengan Dya Hyun yang diperankan oleh Moon Ga Young. Ia pun menaksir dengan cewek misterius itu. Namun sayang sekali ternyata wanita mereka merupakan saudara kembarnya yang hilang sehingga ia meski selama berikut merasakan hati yang sama. Ke-3, Eve. Drakor hits 2022 ini menurunkan tentang Lee La El yang diperankan oleh Seo Ye Ji yang menyebrangi kehancuran sanak. Hal tersebut akibat adanya seseorang secara kekuasaan dan pengaruh yang besar. Ia pun bercita-cita untuk membalaskan dendam beserta membuat skandal dalam nasib CEO LY Group yakni Kang Yoon Gyum yang diperankan per Park Byung Eun. Terlebih Lee La El malahan membuat gugatan dengan perhitungan yang luar biasa mengejutkan yakni 2 triliun sehingga menciptakan masyarakat satu negara terpukau. Keempat, Cleaning Up. Cerita Korea itu bergenre kriminal komedi yang bisa sebagai tontonan ringan sehari-hari. Menyuarakan mengenai tiga orang perempuan yang merupakan petugas keheningan di Bested Investment Securities. Ketiga cewek tersebut diartikan sebagai Eo Yong Mi diperankan Yum Jung Ah, An In Kyung diperankan Jeon So Min, dan Maeng Soo La diperankan Kim Jae Hwa. https://gemerlap.net/ ini kadang kala kali menghisabkan berbagai informasi di dalam kongsi tersebut hal trading. Sehingga ketiganya pun berusaha dalam mengubah nasib mereka secara mencoba melakukan investasi. Kelima, Insider. Drama ini bergenre thriller yang mengisahkan mengenai Kim Yo Han yang diperankan sama Kang Ha Neul. Ia merupakan instansi di meja hijau yang sedang melakukan penyamaran untuk menyudi jaksa serong. Namun sayangnya, dalam mewujudkan tugasnya ia justru mendapati insiden yang membuatnya dipenjara. Ia pula biar merencanakan suka membalas dendam agar sukma normalnya kembali pulih. Drakor hits 2022 tersebut ialah rekomendasi tontonan terbaik tatkala pertengahan tahun 2022 itu.
