And while Taeyong was watching you two talk, it was clear to him that he lost you already today. And so with a heavy heart and no goodbyes or whatsoever, he walked away from the two of you. But you were quick to follow him. And as you chase Taeyong, Jaehyun on the other hand hot hurt with your actions. He didn’t stopped you anymore and let you follow Taeyong. Clearly you wanted to talk to him too, Jaehyun can only hope that you wont forget that he exists.

“Tae— how are you?” You stopped Taeyong from getting in his car. He turned and faced you, sadness in his eyes were visible.

“Do you love him?” Taeyong asked with a firm tone. Almost mad but this time he didn’t want his anger to ruin what he can still fix . “Do you love him?” He then once again asked with a softer tone.

“Because I’m here to bring you back Y/n,”

You stand in front of Taeyong in shock. Confused to what is happening right now, but most importantly… why can’t you answer his question when you just said to Jaehyun that you love him. Last night while you two were making love.

THE ARE SO SO SO PRETTY AND UNREAL?? I HAD TO STOP EVERY 5 SECONDS AND SAY TO MYSELF "WAIT THEY ARE REAL AND I'M SEEING THEM IRL" their voices are also INSANE they're truly SINGERS. ALSO of course i already knew how beautiful they are but TAEYONG??? LEE TAEYONG WTF? HE´S TOO.FUCKING.PRETTY NO CAMERA CAN CAPTURE WHAT MY EYES SAW LIKE HIS BEAUTY OMG? I DON'T THINK ENOUGH PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IT (this opinion is totally unbiased, he's not even my (main?) bias wrecker) LIKE I FUCKING GET IT i get why he's the center.

About my experience... I GOT NOTICED BY JAEHYUN AND JOHNNY 😭😭😭😭 the johnny one i even have the video: i screamed "JOHNNYYYYYY" and he looked straight at ME and you can hear the girls around me saying OMG HE LOOKED AT YOU + i also have a pic where he is (kinda? at least with an eye shfkdjskfk) looking at my phone while they were singing highway to heaven (one of mark too 😳while they were singing promise you if i remember correctly). Now about jaehyun... taeil was saying his ment and there was like a 2 seconds pause of complete silence so i screamed "JAEHYUNNNNNNN", he was looking the other way so he turned his head and looked at me (i'm sure he only saw my silhouette since he's blind) for a second and i was so SHOCKED that i tried to take a picture, video or ANYTHING but when i checked they were blurry or i was pointing at the floor or similar but i PROMISE it actually happened 😭 the girls around me saw it too. And the last important thing that happened to me: I GOT A PIECE OF TAEYONG'S SHIRT 😭😭 i have the video of that moment cause they were saying their ments when suddenly taeyong took his shirt off and it landed like 3 people away from me so everyone who were in front of us backed off? at that moment i swear i thought i was going to die we literally had to held hands with the people beside me to make a human wall?? and not falling backwards. Then the concert ended and i got trapped in the circle around the girl who had the shirt i was literally being choked and my haechan banner got all wrinkle because of it :( my hand even got stuck in a girls jacket and because of that i got to touch a big piece of shirt that the girl gave to a boy (he was trying to give little pieces to everyone but no one had something sharp to cut it) and i touched the tag of the shirt (it was from the collar-shoulder part)... a minute later they were able to cut the shirt and the boy saw me struggling and said here! and gave me a little piece... the funny thing was that a girl beside who also got a piece said that it smelled good so i was like "..." and i smelled it and it smelled so good (a mixture between fabric softener and like a clean male perfume?) later on i realized the piece had like a yellow stain on it so i guess that was taeyong's sweat 😭😭... and basically that was my concert experience (i'm ignoring the fact that i couldn't see haechan AGAIN like you don't imagine how sad i was when i found out he wasn't coming (AGAIN) because he was sick (i actually didnt care he wasn't coming i was just so fucking sad that he was (and still) is sick i was so worried... so i'm gaslighting myself that haechan is just part of my imagination and that's why he didn't come)

ANYWAYS back to business: THE TRAITOR SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my mind this story was much bigger than just #teamjeno or #teamhaechan, it wouldn’t have been fair for Jeno if she chose him out of spite and it would’ve been toxic if she took Haechan back immediately without making it clear that she now knew her value and as much as she loved him she wouldn’t have started crawling on the floor to get some attention. I know everyone is entitled to have their own opinion and I respect that, it just makes me a bit sad when people don’t get her character (like I don’t even care about being team Jeno or Haechan) is just that I can’t sit here and read that MY BABY is weak or a loser, she WAS a loser in 'enough for you' but I’m sure I gave her a character development. I think it's fine to not agree with her choice, probably if I was in her situation in real life I would've picked Jeno (honestly, I would've been alone because why would I date someone that loves me while I don't love them back?) but this is fiction, it's made up, and people can change truly unlike people irl so I don't see nothing wrong with giving chances in a story even if you wouldn't do the in the real world. Like you are the first example, what have I been saying to you? Don't let your ex put you down and don't take him back if 80% of the time you end up being hurt in some way, and your story is almost a copy of theirs.

Yes!!! that’s exactly what I don’t understand. Their story was definitely toxic before but then they cut it off and grew. I feel like manipulation is such a heavy word to use in this context that's why I would’ve liked at least an insight of their view to at least try to understand where it was coming from because that’s not how I write manipulative characters. HAVE YOU NEVER LIKED SOMEONE BEFORE? Is sending me but yeah when you love someone you try to do everything to prove it, also she gave him the 'mission' to prove her he still loved her, if she would’ve said ‘no, you can’t try to win me back’ the first time they talked (seriously) again, he wouldn’t have done all that.

This is an older request but I hope you’re still with us! So sorry for the long wait ;; To answer your question, I really feel like Taeyong could go either way (younger or older). Taeyong strikes me as a person who would fall for someone who he feels a “spark” with rather than looking for someone who fits his standards/type. I don’t think age really matters to him, although at his current age, I don’t think he’d date someone in high school but probably someone who is around his own age (1-3 years age gap? whether it be older/younger!) but yeah I don’t know, I don’t really get the feeling that he prefers older/younger girls for some reason! You sat on the couch in a pair of jeans and a cropped black sweater. You ran your fingers through your long flowy black hair, full of frustration before returning to your position with your arms crossed.

Your favourite red lip tint that you put on earlier had faded within the two hours you waited for Taeyong.

You hadn’t seen him in weeks due to his busy schedule. Only yesterday, you received a short text from him saying he would have time to see you tomorrow night.

Whenever the two of you met up, it would be at your flat. When the two of you dated while he was a trainee, dating in public would be minimal. Since his debut, the two of you had never had even one date outside of your home.

You rubbed your tired eyes, no longer caring if you smudged the makeup you were wearing. Truthfully, you weren’t even sure why you even wore makeup anymore. It’s not like the two of you would be going out.

As the clock struck twelve, you decided that you had enough.

You stood up from the couch and walked towards your bedroom when you heard the jingling of keys and the familiar sound of the door unlocking.Taeyong entered your flat wearing a black cap with a matching black zip-up hoodie and jeans, a long puffy down jacket draped over his shoulders.

You were overwhelmed with feelings as he dropped his backpack off to the side and took off his cap, greeting you with a quick nod.

“Sorry I’m late. It was difficult getting here without getting caught.”

The way his voice sounded so nonchalant further incited your anger.

You hadn’t known how long it had been since you felt this way, but it no longer seemed like you and Taeyong were an item.In fact, you felt as if he had to force himself to make time for you every couple weeks.“Then you have something to celebrate about. Since it’s going to be your last time coming here.”You turned to Taeyong and held your hand out.

“Keys.”He stayed silent but you could tell with his steely cold eyes that he was mad.“You’re throwing a fit ‘cause I’m late?”You crossed your arms.“Every time we meet up, you’re either late or you don’t show up. You might as well not come over.”You tried to walk to your room, but after you took a few steps you felt his arm reach out to grasp yours.“__________,”You turned around to look at him, his sharp gaze still intact.

“Do you know how many times we’ve gone out since you debuted?”He stayed silent.“None. Not even once.”You laughed sarcastically.“I don’t think I’ve even been out ten times with you in the two years we’ve been together. Can we really call this dating?”

Although you didn’t want to seem weak, your voice cracked at your last sentence. You felt Taeyong’s grip loosen as his gaze softened.He let go of your arm as he brought his hand down to hold your own.“Let’s go.”You looked up at him.“Let’s go out.”He smiled at you faintly before cracking into a smile, breaking into a small run towards the entrance.You didn’t even have time to grab a coat as you fervently slipped on your shoes and Taeyong grabbed his cap from the floor.Instead of taking the elevator the two of you took the stairs, sharing a smile every now and then as you excitedly breathed in the frigid winter air as soon as the door opened.Although the two of you were just running down the empty streets late at night hand-in-hand, it was an exhilarating experience for you.Taeyong had always been a meticulous person. Every decision he made, he thought over first. For him to go out with you so spontaneously, without making previous plans made you feel important, as if he placed your feelings over his situation.

The two of you finally slowed down as you came across the cafe you used to frequent when the two of you first started dating. It was one that you had fond memories of, being one of the only cafes in the neighbourhood to open late.

You took a seat while Taeyong went up to the counter to order.

Staring at his backside brought back many memories. Even from under his cap, you could tell he was contemplating which drink to get for himself, whether it be his favourite yogurt smoothie or strawberry milkshake. For you, it would always be iced chocolate frappé.

You frowned slightly when he walked over with an americano for himself and your regular iced chocolate frappé, as he took a seat in front of you.

“You drink americano now?”

He nodded, holding the hot drink in his hand.

“I got used to it, helps keep me up.”

You nodded, taking a sip of your drink.

There were few words exchanged but you felt happy to be out with him. You were thankful that there weren’t many people in the cafe and the two of you could relax.

As you told him about what was going on in your life recently, he chuckled and leaned over to wipe your under-eye area lightly with his thumb.

You lifted your phone up to glance at your reflection, totally forgetting about the smudged makeup from earlier.

You stood up, excusing yourself from the table.

“I’ll be right back.”

Taeyong nodded as he looked out the window, taking another sip of his americano.

After making an effort to clean up your under-eye area, you combed through your hair with your fingers and smiled at your reflection before leaving the restroom.

As you walked back over to the table, you noticed a girl standing near Taeyong.

She was shorter than you and had dyed hair up in a ponytail, wearing a matching cap.

Although she was turned away from you, you noticed she was one of Taeyong’s seniors at the company.

To avoid making it awkward for Taeyong, you decided to walk over to the magazine stand nearby before returning to your seat.

“I didn’t know you would be out late at this time, weren’t you promoting last week?” The girl spoke in a friendly voice as Taeyong chuckled quietly.

“Yeah, we have this week off although I’ll still be at practice. How about you?”

She raised up the drink she had in hand.

“Just grabbing some caffeine before heading back to train.”

You heard her soft laughter.

“Unlike a certain someone, we don’t have time to fall in love.”

Your ears suddenly perked up. Was she referring to you and Taeyong?

You heard him clear his throat.

“Yeah I know what you mean.”

You heard her bring her voice down a level.

“Hmm? Wasn’t that girl earlier your girlfriend? The two of you looked pretty cute together.”

You heard him laugh in response and your heart skipped a beat, anticipating his answer.

“That was my cousin. I’m not dating anyone at the moment.”You felt your jaw tightening out of anger. You felt as if the last two years with Taeyong had been a lie.How did he truly feel about you all this time?Even if he might have started out having feelings for you, how long has it been since those feelings were no longer present?You heard the girl apologize for the misunderstanding as she bid goodbye to him.You took a deep breath, walking over to the table.Taeyong was taking a sip of his americano as you hastily took your phone from the table and turned to leave.He immediately sensed that something was wrong and he stood up.“_________, where you going?"

Please don’t give up on us… I can’t lose you.”You wanted to hug him back, but you knew that if you did you would never be able to let go.“Do you promise?”Taeyong continued to hold you but didn’t speak just as you expected.You chuckled bitterly. “I know you won’t make promises you can’t keep.”You pushed him back lightly, only enough to get out of his hold.You looked up briefly at Taeyong to see tears running down his face.Now that you realized it, this was the first time you had seen him cry.Although you had many fights in the past, he had never shed a tear.“I’m sorry.” He whispered under his breath and held onto your arm gently. “Can I at least walk you home?”You patted him on the arm, knowing that you could easily give in if he stayed next to you any longer.“I’ll be fine.”You turned away from him.“Wait.”You looked up at the dark night sky to keep your tears from falling.You heard him unzip his jacket, and he proceeded to place it on you slowly. “At least take this.”You felt yourself choke up to the point that if you were to speak a word, you would have broken down right in front of him.Without turning back you walked away from him, bursting into a brisk run as soon as you were out of the alley.You had reached the last intersection as the traffic light turned red, forcing you to stop.As Taeyong’s scent from his jacket reached you, you felt your legs grow weak as you let yourself fall to the floor, letting go all you held in.You bawled loudly as you veiled your face with your hands.Everything was over just like you wanted… but why did it hurt so much to know that Lee Taeyong was now nothing but a stranger to you?

“911, please state your emergency.”

Static. He waited for a minute more but there still wasn’t any sound coming from the other side.

Baekhyun sighed exasperatedly, sure that this was another prank call. Halloween night was looming close which also meant teenagers found it funny to call the operators up at night to scare them.

But he was used to this. After all, this was what he was trained for.

He was about to hang up the call when he heard a sound. Immediately he jerked back the phone to his ear and strained them to hear anything, but now he could hear a buzzing sound.

“Hello? How can I help-”

“Help.”

He inhaled sharply, the woman’s raspy voice very clear in the empty office. Baekhyun was the only one serving shift in his floor currently, and the only thing accompanying him was the soft beeping on the seven screens in front of him and the buzzing of the fluorescent tube lights above him.

"Ma'am, what is happening?"

His fingers flew across the keyboard, noting down the number first and then quickly texting the other department to find out the location of the call.

"Pl-please help. Make him stop." The woman whispered, her ragged breath harsh against his ears.

"You need to tell me what is happening so that I can help you. What is your name ma'am?"

He was still calm, he had enough experience to know what would happen if he lost his cool too.

A message dinged on one of his screens indicating that they had traced the nearest cell tower of the cell phone.

"Officer Lee." He said, already on the other line, talking to the nearest official he could see. "We have a 911 emergency of abuse."

"Roger that. Address?"

"It's…" Baekhyun's voice trailed off on seeing the address. No way- How was that possible?

The address was his house.

He cleared his throat, sure that the address was wrong since they tracked the nearest cell tower, and that could be miles away from the destination.

“The address shows my house but I think it means nearby places.”

There was a pause, as though Taeyong too seemed to be trying to process this.

“On my way.”

“Ma’am,” Baekhyun said, back to line one, “if you could tell me your name or your address, or even what is happening to you I could help you out.”

His eyes were trained to look at all the monitors at once, one monitoring the small dot that represented Taeyong heading towards the destination, another with a blank form about the caller and another one where he was rapidly typing what he was hearing, ready to call in other emergencies in case he heard something.

“Help. Why don’t you help me? Please help.”

“Ma’am help is on the way-”

There was a loud pop as all the lights went out and the only source now was his computer screens. Baekhyun wasn’t scared of the dark ever, another reason he never minded this night shift as a Dispatch Operator but the growing sounds of gurgling and growling in the telephone line was causing shivers to travel down his spine.

“Baekhyun…” The woman rasped, this time sounding like she had gargled razors and Baekhyun felt his blood turn cold.

H-How did she know his name?

The hair on his nape stood up as his breathing came out in pants on this unusual call. With a jolt, he realised how lonely he was, not a single soul on his floor whilst he was plunged in darkness.

The call cut off abruptly, and at the same time the power surged to life.

Yet, the cold feeling hadn't left Baekhyun as though he could still hear the woman gargling in his ear.

“Byun?”

He jerked as the second line came to life, Taeyong’s voice clear through the landline.

“H-Hey. Did you find anything?” He tried not to sound shaken, but it was hard because the more he tried to ignore, the more the feeling of foreboding grew in him.

“Nothing. We will be needing to get a more specific address. Your entire apartment seems safe to me. Is she still on the line?”

Baekhyun exhaled.

“No. She cut the call. I don’t think she needs help anymore. She sounded alright at the end.” He lied.

“Are you sure? Shouldn’t we follow the protocol still-”

“She told me so.” Baekhyun snapped, and Taeyong quieted down.

He sighed, rubbing his template, trying to forget what he heard. Being a 911 operator, there was bound to be such horrors right? He had heard some similar stories of ghost calls from his superiors.

"Well then...I suppose that's it huh? Are you calling it a night?"

Baekhyun felt his heart leap to his throat.

Calling it a night? On any other day he would have loved to crash on to his bed but all of a sudden going back to his house seemed like a distant nightmare, something which would haunt him and tear him apart.

"N-no. I'll continue my shift. Besides, Kibum won't wake up if I call him now."

"You sound...scared. We've dealt with these before, right?" Taeyong asked, clearly concerned for him.

"Y-yeah. I'll hang up now."

As soon as the phone went down, Baekhyun buried his face in his hands, trying to block out the horrible sounds he had heard.

But the more he tried to forget them, the more he was convinced that they were no more voices in his head but were coming from the room.

I’m hallucinating. I’ve gone mad.

He got up and walked upstairs, walking into a similar room to see only two occupants in the entire floor. Night shifts were starting to become rare.

“Hey Taeyeon.” Baekhyun said, approaching the older female of the two women working as dispatch at this time.

“Hey Baek- Are you okay? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”

Baekhyun smiled sheepishly, taking a seat between Taeyeon and Joohyun.

“You know, calls these days. As Halloween approaches things get creepy.”

“I think I’ll leave this job after a year. There’s only so much I can handle such depressing news and situations.” Joohyun muttered, eyes still raking over the screens.

“So, uh, I was wondering if you both could take my shift. I, uh, the last call-”

He really didn't know how to explain the call.

But they were already nodding, understanding his unexplained fear.

“You go home. We will take care.” Taeyeon said, patting his shoulder lightly.

He smiled at them gladly, getting up to leave.

But even after he left the building, he could hear those groaning sounds following him.

He pressed his fingers against his temples, the headache still persisting despite eating the medicines.

He couldn’t sleep even a bit the night before. Everything he shut his eyes he was only revisited by the same nightmare and then he woke up in cold sweat. Even awake he couldn't shake off the foreboding fear in him, shivering in the darkness.

The telephone range once more and he automatically picked it up.

"911. Please state your emergency-"

"Help."

Baekhyun froze, feeling blood drain out of his cheeks.

"Baekhyun, please help."

It was the same woman. He was very sure of it.

But this time he was scared for a different reason.

This time he was scared because he knew this voice.

"Y/N." He whispered, fear clutching his stomach as he felt his heart hammer in his chest.

In the empty office he could only hear his own ragged breathing and the slight buzzing sound coming from the phone.

But how was this possible?

Y/N had died six months ago.

Or rather, she had been murdered in his apartment. At first he had been charged with murder, but due to lack of evidence he was set free.

"Help please." She rasped. "Help me-"

"Where are you?" He whispered.

"In your apartment. Why aren't you helping?"

He felt his head spin. Whom was he even talking to? With each word her voice turned raspy and he could feel the famine fear returning.

"If you don't help me he'll-"

Baekhyun heard her gasp, followed by a whimpering as he heard someone slap her.

"Y-Y/N?" He asked, though he didn't want to know what had happened to her.

"Stay away." A male voice said.

Baekhyun nearly fell off his seat, the hair on his arms and neck standing up.

"Stay away."

He could hear his own voice on the other side of the telephone line.

The telephone nearly slipped from his sweaty hand as he tried taking in a breath to calm himself down.

"And who's this-"

"Just stay away from us."

And the line disconnected.

"Who was that?"

Baekhyun jumped from his seat, hands flying to his mouth to prevent himself from screaming when he came face to face with Kibum.

"You scared me." He hissed, rubbing his sweaty forehead while trying to calm his shaking body down.

Kibum raised his eyes.

"Did I scare you? Or that call did?"

Baekhyun looked away.

"What are you talking about-"

"You asked the caller whether she was Y/N."

Baekhyun shivered involuntarily at the memory.

"It sounded like her." He gulped.

Kibum sat down beside him, concern etched on his face.

"Are you sure? Taeyeon and Taeyong said you were acting a bit differently even yesterday."

He exhaled.

"I'm fine. Just no sleep. You know, Halloween is just around the corner, kids coming up pranking-”

“You should go home.” Kibum cut him, patting him on the shoulder. “I think you need rest.”

Baekhyun opened his mouth to protest, but shuddered in the thought of facing another ghost call.

Packing his things, he made his way out of the office into the elevator, letting out a breath he didn’t know he was holding.

His heart jumped again as his phone rang, cutting the heavy cold silence.

"Hello?" He whispered, wondering who it was.

"Why did you kill me?"

He felt his head spin once more.

"Y/N. How did you- Kill you- What are you talking about-" he panted, stumbling back to support his wobbly legs with the help of the wall of the lift.

All of a sudden the air felt cooler, and his clammy hands seemed to be unable to grip the hand bar of the lift.

"Don't you know? You killed me. Well, not exactly you. It was Baëkhyun. But he is you, you are him, right?"

He heard the lift ding as it reached the ground floor. Frantically, he tried pushing random buttons, not wanting the lift door to open.

But as though his fate was doomed, the doors slowly opened, until he was face to face with her.

She dropped the phone from his hand, stepping into the lift coolly as Baekhyun stumbled back, trying to make as much distance as he could with her. But soon his back hit the wall and he could only stare as this ghostly form of his ex lover smiled at him.

"Now it's time for me to return the favour."

“It’s not that bad!”

“Lee Haeeun, you will get your ass over here right now and treat that.”

Hannah rolled her eyes at Haechan while he dragged her to the rest of the 127 members. On their way to practice, she had tripped over her shoelaces, which wouldn’t have come undone if it weren’t for the rush the two were in, and her arm had hit the corner of a door frame. She didn’t even notice it was bleeding until Haechan looked at it and practically screamed.

“Honestly, Duckie,” she laughed to hide her wince while she pressed her hanky a little harder onto the gash, “you’re already overreacting. What more would the others do if they just see me turn up with blood on my arm?”

Haechan simply looked at her with a serious face before pulling the door open and bringing her inside. “This. Hyungs! Haeeun’s dying!”

“I’m not dying!”

Her words were drowned by the sound of worried calls of her name and footsteps running in their direction.

Jungwoo had reached her first and gently pulled her hanky away to see the damage. His eyes widened when he saw that, although slowly, blood still dripped from the slightly deep cut.

“Mark, Jaehyun, call someone from the medical facility.” Taeyong’s voice rang clear as he took a spare towel he had and rolled it up, pouring a bit of water on it. “Somebody look for the emergency kit in here.”

Doyoung and Taeil immediately began to look around the room for the kit the staff had placed there in case of emergency injuries.

“What did you do, Kitsune?” Yuta lightly thumped the side of her head, making Jungwoo swat the older’s arm away. The Japanese boy merely resorted to having her stand for a bit so he could place her on his lap.

She sighed while handing her arm to Taeyong who had gestured for her to place it in his hand. “I just tripped and hit a corner. It’s nothing big, I swear! You can ask Duckie!”

The 127 members sitting by her all turned towards Haechan. The other maknae crossed his arms and frowned at her.

“It is big,” he pointed out the wound Taeyong was cleaning the blood out of, “it looks really bad! I don’t understand how she’s not writhing in pain right now!”

She was about to speak up, but Johnny beat her to if. “Hate to break it to you, kiddo, but that does look like it might need stitches.”

A groan escaped past her lips. Not Johnny, too! She was already being coddled by Jungwoo and Yuta while Taeyong cleaned her wound. Doyoung was also freaking out, from what she could see through the corner of her eye. Not to mention Haechan was on his phone, searching for a way to help take care of her wound.

It’s not like she didn’t like the fact that they took care of her. She did promise that she’d act more like a maknae than an older member, but it almost felt like too much especially for a simple cut on her arm. It’s not like she had fractured anything, one bandage and she’ll be fine!

Yet they had Mark and Jaehyun run to the other side of the building, still. It’s not like they hadn’t treated wounds before. Thankfully Taeil still kept his head on straight.

“I called manager hyung,”

She stood corrected.

“Oppa!” Her incredulous look was met with a stern look.

“Hannah, that’s not just a shallow cut.” Taeil approached her and looked at the wound alongside Taeyong. “Taeyong’s been wiping away at it, but the blood isn’t stopping.”

The eldest member took the towel from Taeyong and gently pressed it onto the gash with more pressure than even she did a while ago. This made her flinch.

“Oh, my poor baby,” Jungwoo patted her cheek. “It must hurt a lot, huh?”

“You don’t need to hide it,” Yuta had nuzzled his cheek onto her head and lightly squeezed her around the waist.

She scoffed. “I’m 22 this year. I don’t think I should be fazed by something as minor as this.”

“Is it really minor, though? Hyung, try lifting her arm.” Doyoung came with a clear box in his hand. Haechan took it from him and quickly looked through the contents.

Lifting her arm? It’s not like that would be a problem since it wasn’t broken or anything. They were seriously underestimating her, if they thought that something as small as a cut would stop her from—

Her thoughts were cut off by a sharp pain that made her jolt.

“Exactly my point,” Doyoung noted. “Look, there’s even some bruising going on around it.”

“I knew the metal on the doorframes was a bad idea.” Harchan grumbled as he handed Taeil an antibiotic cream to put on her wound. He found the gauze and the medical tape as well and began opening them.

Johnny lightly ruffled her hair. “You’re gonna be resting from dance practice for a while.”

Her eyes widened, but Taeyong spoke. “Hannah, that gash is about 2 and a half inches long. It looks deeper than what you make it out to be, and Doyoung’s right. You’re bruising and can barely lift your arm above 45 degrees.”

“It’s like getting my vaccine again,” she snorted.

“Hey,” Taeil tapped her temple before taking the gauze from Haechan, “serious time. When Mark and Jaehyun come back with a medic, we’ll have you checked over and see if you can take a painkiller. After that, we’re going to the hospital because you genuinely might need this stitched up, okay?”

She groaned and threw her head back onto Yuta’s shoulder. The Japanese boy laughed and pinched her cheek.

“Fine,” she huffed out, “but no one’s telling my boyfriend about this. He’s gonna freak.”

Johnny’s sheepish smile caught her attention. She narrowed her eyes as she watched him slowly tuck his phone into his pocket.

“You didn’t.”

“Technically, I told Ten.”
