People that make it a joke to be like: "Omggg the introductions to classic books are soooo annoying, why would they put so much of this useless shit here?" after they only started reading classics to be a part of the pretentious booktok fucks who read classics just to say they read them... Hi, pretentious fuck who always reads the introduction... It is literalllyyy a free literary analysis you dipshits. If you're reading some abstract shit, well it was written that way and people have been trying to read and interpret it since it was published. There is 200% popular explanations or theories of the plot there, if not straight up quotes from an authors diary/notes on their process and intentions for writing their novel (if those were left behind by the author). Fun facts, relevant historical context, translation deep-dives (which are fucking great btw, translation is an art and even the best translations will always lose something) and more. Honestly, people bragging about not reading it is like. ok fine whatever. To call it useless is just indicative that you are a VITCIM of the media comprehension crisis. If you're just going to parrot some rando from tiktok who summarized the plot (badly) in fortnite terms (do not recommend) read the fkn intro instead. If you're not going to try analyze the book yourself, or if you don't know where to start- read the intro!!!111!!! I am old enough (21. sarcasm.) to remember the time when the media lit crisis was in full swing before Lolita blew up on tiktok where people were making the most bare bones, surface level interpretations of it, calling the author and people who liked the book pedophilic. Saying they didn't know why it was a classic because it was just some old man's sick fantasy. I'm pretty sure there are old arguments on this blog of me trying to explain it to people. Nabokov was very open about the true meaning of his novel, there were many resources for people on and offline, plus the book that I had (not special, from library and then one from B&N) had an intro AND author's note. Yet people only got it when it was oversimplified for them on tiktok? Introductions are literally some nerd who was so obsessed with the author/book that you're reading that they who wrote something (barely anything usually, not a fucking lot) to help you understand the book better. Obviously, its meant to be supplementary and you can and should find your own meaning. Plus, usually for compiled works, the introduction are the guy(s) who made the fucking book, but ofc they are only credited in the intro (& copyright page) because they didn't write it. Surprise, people actually have to pick what works go into those types of books. Intros are usually just: "wow, I love this author so much that I did research on their entire life, read every single word they left on this earth, read 50 decades of analysis of their works and researched the era they lived in to understand why and what they wrote the wrote better, " and you mfs that don't even read it call it useless. fuck you. Oh and before anyone with -80 IQ reads this and gets upset, if you want to avoid spoilers for the 103935405739 year old book, read it after you finish the book...

rant ahead
Tumblr media
Sorry..i really need to let it all out.
Today i wake up on a ss tweet about my channel posting this meme:
Tumblr media
in context, i have channel and have a mix audience, both in team black and green.I repost memes from fb and reddit so my subscribers will have a place to discuss their takes..ive been doing this since Oct 2022 along side of me posting ewan edits and crumbs.
As the channel grew, i also receive a ton of hate from yt people. Most accusing me of being creep and obsessed with ewan, some hating me for deleting their comments which is not true btw.Yt algorithm deleted offensive words and phrases but they blame me for that..i let it slide.
Recently i found out a person reupload my yt shorts and long form video on tiktok 40+ and counting.I reached out and be decent a person but i never got a reply.I let it go coz what can i do, hbo owned those clips. My tt friends also called her out to no avail.
Im also catching some tweets with ss of my channels and some people commenting on my fanart to start a fight.im a quiet person in real life and i have no energy to start an argument so i just apologize.
Back to this recent tweet, idk why this affects me so much.Maybe because i followed the OP and i love her takes..maybe because i see familiar people on the comment sections and mutuals and people i followed that quote retweet and likes the mean comments..idk..part of me feel betrayed but then again, i have no right to.
I know I cant change people's perspective and opinion and they have all the rights to say what they have to say and its twitter.I apologize and then delete the meme and site the link source since i think they assume i made this one.But idk, its just breaks my heart. They care so much about the character they are defending other than the real person behind the channel.
Harsh truth i guess, im just an afterthought. They might forgot what they posted, but to a person like me who lose so much in the past years, this will linger more that i ever wanted it to be.
Im a creature of habit so i cant stop creating or i'll go crazy but i'll be more active in here from now on..if i have fresh crumb, i will post it here first..This day is just an eye opening for me.
Thank you for listening 🫶💚

Hii! If requests are open could I request Heath ledger’s joker with a digital artist s/o? They’re constantly ranting about their OCs and showing him drawings/animations of them, etc?
Hey hi anon 🖤✨
Mad respect to digital artists!! I love you each and every one of you and the work you share with the world!! Keep on keeping on!
As someone who can’t draw a straight line I be envious but I’ll stick to what I love. Which is why you’re here 🤭Let’s get into it!
Joker is used to you bent over your drawing pad, stylus in hand (wrist brace on; carpal tunnel ain’t no joke! I know from experience 👀) that the visual of you is second nature to him when he walks through the door
He knows when you have your headphones on and your tongue is sticking a bit out of your mouth, that it’s drawing time. He leaves you be until you come to him to ask for constructive criticism. J is always honest and tells you things no matter if it hurts
You shove the pad into his face and begin rambling about if the shading is off, are the lines too harsh? What about the anatomy because you HATE drawing (insert) maybe you should focus attention away from that by drawing a secondary figure?
“I could add more to the background or maybe soften the edges? What do you think? Should I just start over?”
Joker knows you’re the toughest critic regarding your own work so he genuinely tells you it’s great. The shading is amazing and he personally likes the outline still visible through your signature style. It makes the whole piece feel more natural that way than full on illustrated (he’d hate for you to be called out for using AI) 🙄🙄 he’d probably kill someone for real for flaming you
He subtly reminds you to add your watermark signature to the artwork in a unique way because you forget to when you critique your work so much.
You are constantly on your drawing pad day in and day out and it’s not the latest tech so… you run into a problem early on: it breaks.
You don’t tell Joker since you’re been saving up for a new one for a while now but…. you’re not quite at your goal. It’s all good, you take a break from drawing and focus on another skill
Rest assured Joker instantly notices you’re not drawing (how dare you; he adores your work!) and goes out and buys steals the most state of the art equipment for his bunny.
I’m talking a rig that the professionals use with all the bells and whistles. It’s already set up at your workstation the following morning and your head over heels thanking Joker with hugs and kisses
Joker fully supports your craft and knows it’s your source of income sooo he uses different accounts to commission you for the most random artwork so you stay getting paid and he helps you draw out of your comfort zone while ultimately improving as an artist
You are none the wiser and people start to notice your work with the endless flow of commissions Joker asks for. He may or may not leave your username/digital card in the most random places across Gotham. It’s free exposure at this point.
Joker doesn’t get tired of listening to lore about your OCs and their world. He knows so much about each character that Frost, Mac, and Neo are fully convinced they’re real people with how much J talks about them.
“OC’s name went viral the other day. I think it’s because of the new uhh, underwater.. ani-mation Y/n made. Very err crisp.”
“Is you talking about Y/n’s drawings?” Mac asked.
“It’s noT just a drAwINg!” Joker quickly defends your work.
Mac’s dumb comment prompted J to threaten ask them to pull out their phone and subscribe to your Pateron account. And it better be the highest tier or risk J’s wrath. He pays them enough to afford a monthly subscription and it’s worth every penny
The four of them spend the rest of the night scrolling through your online portfolio. They oo and ahh over the hard work you created. You are beyond talented.
A low level goon knocked on the door and got their attention but was floored by the illustration shown up on the projector. It looked like a literal masterpiece. It was so detailed and some elements were animated, he asked for the artist’s link.
Joker was forever grateful you used a pseudonym for your work so he had no issues of your identity being compromised by association
Neo provided them your username, lixh0useart on all platforms and told them to get back to work. They did while spreading your work like wildfire amongst the others
That same night you called J screaming in joy to tell him about all the new Paterons and commissions you got! You were on your way to being an artist full time and Joker couldn’t be more proud.

okay. apparently ranting on tumblr is the way to go so here i am. on a rant about my bitchass college life.
first of all. my classmates. GOD. the people in my group would be fine if the guy that i considered a potential friend didn’t stop talking to me after i rejected him at a party. he was genuinely interested in me as a person and my interests and then he had to go and ruin it by taking rejection like a little bitch. i would’ve been fine with it IF HE IMMEDIATELY AFTER DIDNT START TALKING WITH ANOTHER GIRL THAT I GET ALONG WITH. AND STOPPED ANY FORM OF CONTACT WITH ME. motherfucker i’ll hunt you down for sport if you ignore me for the year and a half i’m going to be in that class.
then there’s the bitch in my group. OH MY GOD. you’re TWENTY YEARS OLD. TWENTY ONE I DONT CARE. and yet you behave like an edgy sixteen year old that just got tumblr?? “ooooh i’m so edgy all i do is complain and bitch and give people dirty looks.” i’m surprised you have friends, let alone roommates that didn’t let the carbon monoxide leak when they spent the night out and you slept alone. i hope you know i fucking hate you and the way you monopolize people is elementary school shit. which you seem to think you’re in anyways?? kids like you shouldn’t be reading the shitty ass tiktok books you keep recommending because of how hard the main characters fuck.
and the rest of my group keeps ignoring me lol. none of them wait for me to finish packing my shit and none of them talk with me out of college. oh wait they do. to ask me about homework. EVEN IF I DONT KNOW SHIT BECAUSE I KEEP SKIPPING CLASS. PAY ATTENTION IN THE LECTURES INSTEAD OF PLAYING SUDOKU.
and these people are the ones i spend most of my time with. because among the 20-something other students in my goddamned degree (yes. there’s 20-something of us in an entire undergrad. we used to be in the 30s but people kept dropping out for reasons ill touch on later). there’s one that keeps throwing ALUMINIUM WRAP BALLED UP. AT EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE. i can’t stand that bitch GOD i hope she drops out too.
my degree is a completely different subject. first off we have eight subjects this semester. EIGHT. we have more than any other degree in this fuckass university, and the workload is frankly ridiculous. i hope my professors aren’t aware that their subject isn’t the only one in the world because if they know the shit we have to do for other subjects and they keep sending us all the shit they do im killing them all and then myself. what the fuck do you mean the business professor keeps making us work as much as in development biology? ITS WORTH HALF THE CREDITS.
and my degree supervisor certainly doesn’t help. maam what do you mean we “can’t afford to have compromises and extracurriculars outside of college work”? kill yourself oh my god i’m paying 500€ a month (with my scholarship included!) to get an education not worked to the ground. i spend over ten hours in college when we have labs because for some reason we can’t have them just after classes to let us go home early like EVERYONE ELSE IN A SCIENCE DEGREE.
the worst part is that the people who organize the mandatory stuff for all students ignore the existence of labs. listen. i’m cool with having to do volunteer stuff. but don’t make me do 50 hours like everyone else because they don’t spend as much time IN THIS UGLY ASS UNIVERSITY. also can we at least have more smoking-allowed points in campus if you’re going to keep exploiting us? i’d like to be able to cope unhealthily with everything else in my life like the adult i am please and thank you.
and this is as far as i’m going because it’s getting long. i’d be surprised if anyone read as far as this so if you did thank you please like comment n subscribe for more rage-fueled content

In Lily's video on why The Legend of Korra is awful, she rants that Republic City is just like America because a mix of people of different cultures live there and that has created a unique place. In reality, Republic City is based off of Shanghai, which is a mixture of distinct Han Chinese cultures - Anhui, Jiangsu, Henan and Sichuan - and nine foreign ethnic groups that make up substantial populations, in addition to ethnic Russians who have lived in the city for four or five generations and Uyghurs.
Lily hates the US most of the time when she mentions it, but she doesn't care about Canadian politics or history even as anti-Native sentiment increases in many provinces and multiple Canadian conservatives propose anti-trans laws, so she's managed to convince herself that it's the center of the universe. She projects it onto everything. When presented with media based on Shanghai, she says it's just like America, because she thinks only the United States has diverse metropolitan areas. (The oldest city we have proof of having a diverse population, Ur, was established in 3800 BC, btw. She is literally ignoring 6000 years of history in order to pretend diversity = USA.) When presented with the idea of another country, Japan, she falls over herself to ramble about how Japan is just like the United States.
I've never seen someone this incapable of understanding the real world before. She genuinely cannot grasp that different places are different. She can't understand that more than one culture exists on Earth. She doesn't know that cities throughout the world have a long history of diversity and multiple ethnicities living in one place.
When she's screaming on YouTube, it's performative, reactionary panic and rage meant to draw in people who mistake talking quickly for being intelligent (the Fox News maneuver, basically). But when she's streaming, she's off the cuff, and off the cuff, she's so bafflingly stupid. Even when I was a little kid I understood that different places are different and not everywhere on Earth is just like the United States. Even when I was a little kid I understood that cities have people from different places.
When she goes full mask off, she's as racist as she is with the mask on. What I was not expecting was the utter and total inability not just to think, but to put together coherent thoughts to express her bad opinions.
I just cannot fathom what's wrong with her. I have some pretty severe mental illnesses, but even prior to medication and treatment, I still had the ability to think circles around her, uh... I don't even know how to describe what she's doing. Rambling implies a coherent through-line. This feels more akin to what my dad says when his Alzheimer's is particularly pronounced that day.
I don't understand how people follow her or look up to her. She's just so dumb. She didn't know that places other than the United States have diverse cities, ffs. What's the appeal?
i honestly don't know anymore. i had said before that she being angry at things worth getting angry about (homophobia, transphobia, etc) was what made me subscribe to her and even become her patreon, but lately even that has been lost among the bad awful comments that she can say with the same confidence as her own name.

just a rant abt things i have been seeing in the few times i came across armys online. damn. i did not expect that fandom to be as crazy as they were mid-pandemic like??? fighting every rising group’s fandom?? saying the most outrageous shit as if the idols of the other groups aren’t human??? like, i thought that behavior was just a side effect of isolation but no??? we all get to touch grass now, breathe some fresh fucking air and y’all still think like this??????
earlier today, i saw a reel/tiktok about new jeans & bts/blackpink. the first part of the video shows headlines stating: a) “hybe has found its best answer, “the next bts” turns out to be newjeans” and, b) newjeans is now more popular than blackpink and it cuts to hybe labels losing subscribers and the caption “you should’ve picked a better way to promote your rookie girl group, hybe.” (no qualms abt hybe losing subscribers lol #saynotocapitalism) personally, i found nothing wrong with the headlines. these are just mere statements of what we see is already happening. i found the comments alarming bc it’s all ‘don’t mess with army’ and ‘no one can replace bts’ like??? well no one fucking said that? if you actually comprehend what you’re reading before you say shit, you’d know that the ‘the next bts’ was just used as a substitute for ‘the next big thing’ shouldn’t that be a great thing???
this crazy obsession of staying on top or being on top has to rest, kids. they were the best of their generation; consistently at the top FOR YEARS and they’ve proved themselves. they’re in a kpop artist hall of fame at this point, along with all the other kpop artists that have helped make kpop as big as it is today. PERIOD. no fucking upcoming/rising kpop artist will be able to take that away from them. why do many of these people think that just bc a new group is getting popular, they’re an instant threat to bts??? all the times they bashed upcoming idols for idolizing bts, covering bts, shouldn’t you be fucking happy that your faves became inspirations to other aspiring ones?????? i feel like if you’re an army and you’re focused on being competitive over this irrelevant shit, i don’t think your ideals are aligned with the ideals of your faves. i’m sure they’d be happy to know they inspire new idols knowing how they started and how big they are now.
with how fast paced the kpop industry is, you should be at least glad with how long bts managed to remained at the peak. but it fucking happens, groups get old and new ones come and you can’t do anything about it. take it from a VIP lmao, your faves enlist and the popularity of course diminishes but nothing can really take away their impact and their relevance. it stays with their name, stays with their fandom, stays with every fucking person who listened and loved their music and you don’t have to fight every new group stan to prove that. come on, grow the fuck up. it’s not a damn competition!!! it’s all in your head. get out, touch some grass, throw your phone away. deactivate.
on that note, jungkook’s deactivation. i saw a post abt people being upset abt seeing a number 6 instead of 7 on the other boy’s following??? ‘i hate the number 6′ BE FUCKING FOR REAL RN. it’s ok to miss seeing his posts and what not but all this??? as if jk cut off the other boys just by deactivating. your chronically online ass should log off, sweetie <3 it’s not that deep. it’s just a social media account and you’ve lived before he had it, you will be fine. :)
disclaimer: anything i say here is not meant to generalize the entirety of the army fandom. i just found this a bit concerning bc what the fuck :D do smth better w/ your life it’s for ur own good

Reddit Users Take Over Kanye West’s Page To Share Taylor Swift & Holocaust Awareness Posts Amid Antisemitism
Tumblr media
Kanye West has burned even more bridges, this time with many of his Reddit stans.
As you’ve likely seen, the 45-year-old rapper’s fanbase has remained loyal to him, even as his rants became increasingly problematic and offensive over the past year. No matter what Ye did – whether it be harassing Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian or spewing antisemitic conspiracy theorieson social media – his followers continued to express their love for the artist and give him a pass because he created his 2007 album Graduation. So messed up…
But following the Yeezy brand head’s disgusting interview with Alex Jones, in which he praisedAdolf Hitler and Nazis and later posted a horrific picture of a swastika on Twitter, it appears people on the producer’s Redditpage have finally decided to dump Kanye once and for all. More than that, they’ve even rebranded the subreddit to focus on his longtime rival: Taylor Swift.
Related: Kim Kardashian Did Not Cheat On Ye With Chris Paul!
As you know, Kanye and Taylor have feuded ever since the 2009 MTV Video Music Awardswhen he stormed the stage to interrupt her Best Video by a Female Artist Award acceptance speech. Things escalated in 2016 when he released the track Famous, which included the lyrics:
“I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous.”
The Karma artist slammed the line, but he and Kim leaked a phone conversation where she seemingly approved the lyrics. Now, it looks like fans have ditched Kanye to side with Tay amid his continued hate speech! On the page, which has over 700,000 subscribers, one user first shared a picture of the 32-year-old singer, declaring:
“This is now a Taylor Swift Subreddit. We had a good run fellas.”
Others seemed to approve, as their post quickly went viral, amassing more than 38,000 upvotes and nearly 1,000 comments. See some of the reactions (below):
“Change the subreddit name to Kanye (Taylor’s Version)”
“I absolutely loathed [Swift] back in 2016/17 just because I took Ye’s side in their beef. Kinda regret it now that I like some of her music and it’s awfully clear that Kanye is a horrible person.”
“Someone start a petition to have her make Graduation: Taylor’s Version”
“Swifties stay winning”
“Taylor made Kanye famous”
“It’s Ye. Hi. I’m the problem. It’s Ye.”
“I mean, Folklore is way better than anything Ye has done in several years.”
“We all swifties now. I said what I said”
While there were plenty of posts about Taylor, fans also flooded the page with more serious content to counter the misinformation and rhetoric spread by Kanye. Many users shared graphic images and information about Hitler’s horrific actions against the Jewish community, such as footage of machinery removing bodies in concentration camps. Posts were also dedicated to victims of the Holocaust, including Anne Frank.

OMG *face palms so hard* I guess this is a rant.
As a musical movie lover, I am really frustrated that when I go to watch The Color Purple (2023) movie trailer the comments always show, no matter what channel I go to, and the one that always shows is something along the lines of "Ugh, LITERALLY nobody asked for a remake, nobody in Hollywood just completely out of ideas, lemme guess there's going to be tons of CGI." That last part made no sense to me...please stop writing comments after drinking an entire box of wine, Joann.
Anyway, it's very annoying that seems to be the comment at the top of every comment section, despite it not being the top liked comment by any means. I noticed this because I really wanted to share the trailer here for more engagement, but it's kinda annoying to hit a link for a trailer and immediately be hit with something negative.
I dunno maybe it's a mistake on the movie marketing team's part, to not actively show them singing and only play Fantasia in the underscore, because it seems some people think that it's a "remake" of the "original" movie. When in fact it is based off the stage musical, which a lot of people feel is closer to the book.
While I love the first movie, and Spielberg is my favorite director of all time, I know a lot of people who have always wanted another adaptation that felt more tonally in keeping with Alice Walker's story. A lot of them are black people. And this new film has a black director that some of them may feel either would be better or at the very least deserves his chance at taking a crack at the material. That's not me saying Spielberg shouldn't have directed the first one because he's not black, I'm not a subscriber to that kind of thinking (again fave director and there's nobody I would've rather seen direct West Side Story), especially when talking about a movie from over thirty years ago. I'm just saying that letting a person of the same ethnicity as the characters direct this version is important and something I respect.
Plus, Spielberg himself is producing! He's excited about this story getting told again! And as a musical lover of course he'd want to see this on film. Oprah, also part of the first movie's cast and produced the stage musical from the beginning, is also supporting this.
People who love the musical have been aware of this and waiting awhile. Glad to be called a nobody. Lots of people wanted it and actually knows what it is. It's been talked about a while by certain groups, it's not a secret, but these people have to pop up when the trailer drops to scream "reee-make!" It's not a remake, it's a readaptation based on an already existing musical that has been acclaimed. Not a remake.
I mean I understand not liking a lot of remakes or new adaptations, but I'm also not going to go spouting off about them vitriolically when I know nothing about them, especially the ginormous fact that it's a musical. Big ass difference from the first one. I also don't jump to conclusions about the quality being bad when the trailer shows no evidence of it being bad. Yes, there are some things I personally feel should be left alone and not used for a cash grab, however 1) this is not one of them 2) not every remake or new adaptation is bad. 2021 produced West Side Story, Nightmare Alley, and Dune, all of which were up for Best Picture. Guess what else they had in common.
Is The Color Purple 2023 going to be amazing? I don't know, it's not out yet. But the trailer looked good in my opinion and it's NOT A REMAKE.
I could write a whole thing about the problem with certain reboots or remakes being really bad, but the key would be either them missing the point of certain things or being rushed and lazy. Don't think that's the case here. And while we're on the topic I hate the "there's no original ideas in Hollywood anymore" narrative. First of all, nothing is wholly original, it's impossible. Second, of all there are hundreds of original movies or first time adaptations EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. These people either only see the thing aggressively marketed to them and complain. Or purposely seek these things out and complain. I personally think it's weird to go out of your way to ignore a wealth of new material in the media but then refuse to see something related to something you already love because "original and old always = better." Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if most of these people don't even care about The Color Purple, they just like bitching and pushing a narrative. Obviously, I love old movies (not that the '80s are that old) but I don't think everything older is perfect and untouchable just by the virtue of being first.
I dunno I think these are all valid points and feel free to use them if you want to argue against these people lol.

Where is the Black Widow’s deadliest domain?
A: The World Wide Web!
Clint & Bucky, Clint & Natasha, pranks, polka
Clint looks down at his phone and sighs.
Bucky nods at him from the fridge. “What’s up?”
Clint frowns harder at his phone. “I can’t seem to figure out how to unsubscribe to these emails.”
“What did you subscribe to?”
“That’s the thing,” Clint says. “I didn’t subscribe to any of these.” He slides his phone across the counter to Bucky.
Bucky picks up the phone and starts scrolling. A funding plea for Cornhuskers Co-Op was followed by helpful hints from Farsighted Folks International. Get Ripped Now. Caffeine Addicts Recovery. Anti-Archery Anonymous. “Have you tried getting Tony involved?”
Clint huffs. “He just laughed and told me that even I should be able to figure out how to use an unsubscribe button. Which — duh. I’m a fuckin’ spy, man, I know how to internet.” He thumps his head on the counter, annoyed. “I’ve unsubscribed, blocked the addresses, changed my actual email account — they’re relentless.” He looks up at Bucky, eyes suddenly sad. “I’ve got so much spam I’ve been missing my coffee coupons.”
Clint crashes into the kitchen at three in the morning, eyes wild. “They’re following me! I swear to god!”
Bucky flips the lights on, all the better to try and understand Clint’s particular brand of crazy; they’d had many a post-nightmare midnight meet-up, but he doesn’t think this is that. He takes stock of Clint’s appearance. “You’re being followed?”
Clint thrusts his laptop in Bucky’s face — too close, actually, for Bucky to read anything — and points frantically at a username that Bucky leans back to read. PizzaisanAbomination. "Look — look — this is the same person, same soulless spawn of satan, who posted all those horrible comments on my ‘Hawkeye’s on the Pies’ video last week!”
Oh man, that had not been a fun five hours, as Clint ranted and raged at the person who refuted why his weekly pizza joint of the week review was wrong. The cheese, the sauce, the crust — even the restaurant decor was systematically destroyed in HawkeyeIsTheWorstAvenger’s comments.
“It’s a different username,” Bucky points out tentatively.
Clint whips his laptop away. “It’s them. I can tell. They’ve followed me to instagram, and —” he switches tabs, spinning it to face Bucky. “They’re on my Tumblr account, too, and that’s not even associated with On the Pies.”
“If I see one more Polka video, I might actually murder someone.”
Bucky stares at the back of his eyelids for a moment longer, then begrudgingly opens them to look at Clint, who had unceremoniously banged into his bedroom to flop on his bed a minute ago. “Don’t we kind of do that anyways?”
Clint blows out a breath. “Only the bad guys though. This might lead to murder of a civilian. Or however many people I need to kill to fix my fucking TikTok algorithm.”
Bucky rolls onto his side, rueing the day he decided to leave Hydra.  “Isn’t the algorithm supposed to only give you things you like?”
“Exactly. And mine is not .” He punctuates each syllable with a vicious swipe, a fresh blast of loud, discordant accordion music following each movement. “I don’t get it,” he exclaims, as though it isn’t 5am after getting back from a mission less than two hours ago when any other sane person would be trying to sleep. “I hate polka! I’ve steered clear of anything that might get me these videos. I don’t interact, I don’t watch, I don’t like — there is no reason polka should be showing up on my For You Page, none.”
Bucky nods in agreement. “You do hate polka. You’ve made that very clear.” Very, very clear. “We all know you hate polka. I know”  —he thinks of the time Clint had decided to spend all of a training session telling him about it— “Steve and Tony know” — he remembers the night in Poland when Steve suggested they visit a dancehall post-mission — “Natasha knows” — he cringes at the memory of —
“Natasha.” Clint’s voice is a hiss in the darkness. “I’m going to murder her.”
Bucky finds her three days later at the coffee shop in the Tower lobby, though it’s more likely that she allowed herself to be found. He pulls out a chair as she takes a dainty sip of her latte. “That was kind of terrible of you.”
She smiles around the rim of the mug. “Kind of hilarious you mean.”
“Well, yeah.” He glances around the room. “I think he’s in Belarus right now. Somewhere in Eastern Europe.”
She nods. “There or the Czech Republic, depending which file he opened.” At his head tilt, her smile grows. “The Czech one ends at a polka hall.”
“And the Belarus?”
“The International Polka Festival, of course.”
Bucky shakes his head with a laugh. “What’d he do this time?”
“Made a really bad joke about spiders and the World Wide Web.” She leans back in her chair. “The punishment fit the crime.”

sometimes i dont know how we are expected to enjoy something in this economy or in modern society where people seem to only really care if its about a rich person or someone whos popular or pretty and attractive. for instance if celeb passes away its such a huge deal but if its one of us it doesnt matter so much cause we dont matter or only a few handful of people would miss us compared to a celeb. or that society is so much about what someone does and how much they make from it that i feel soulless like theres so many folk who say do something bc it make u money not bc it make u happy.
im really conflicted nowadays and i dont like the state my country is in, it doesnt care about it citizens but it care more about the royals than anyone else every tome w royal member breaths they get free press but any time someome normal does something it never gets the same reception. as i said i dont think it matters anymore who does or doesnt live a long life bc it only matters what they did as a person or how society is constantly about having a following or likes comments and subscribes or is it the fact that screens are being used everywhere?
honestly i think this is the worst version of society. i dont want to have to chase people only for them to barely give effort in return but thats what i feel like i have to do bc society has its cliques online and offline. i hope this rant makes some sense and thank you v much for letting me rant!
Hello dear :) Well, there's a lot here...
Despite I understand what you mean, it's also about statistics: famous people are known by far more people than "common" (let me use this adjective, even if it's not right) people, so it's obviously natural that more people can be aware of their existence and cry over one of them passing away compared to one person known only by 20-30 people or less: famous people have the chance to "keep in touch" with/be seen by many people at the same time through what they do, cause all they do has a resonance caused by the ability they have to move markets and create capitals as well (mostly because of "common" people being so invested in them, js). For this reasons their lives are under the lenses of the world: not that good in the end, as their privacy is basically non-existant; they're supposed to share everything about them, cause people wants to know everything about them and compare their lives to the ones of those famous people: if they go through lows, "common" people may feel better about themselves, or see famous as more "normal"; in the best case we just can get inspired by famous people (maybe they made a dream come true and so we hope to be able to do the same somehow). It's very tough cause it's not just about love, but they get also hated and envied far more easily and by far more people than "common" people: again it's about statistics.
The thing to keep in mind here imo is: it's not about quantity, but quality. One can be loved by the whole world but it doesn't mean everyone will remember them forever (and also, it depends on how and why they will: it's not always for something positive or good). Focus on you and your own personal relationships, on making them good enough so that even if just one person will care about and remember you, it will be more than enough cause it will be for the right reason. And that's what matters in the end (imo, ofc).
Life these days is easily influenced by fake lives we see online through social medias: all is buildt up so that it can look amazing (think photographs and AI as well). Many people (not just influencers) try to avoid sharing the "bad" part but only focus on the good and so the idea that everything must be perfect to be good and there's no way one can go through lows in life is something that is playing with the mind of many, making them think their lives are just terrible because they cannot make it good or make enough money (what is enough even? Everything costs more and more, so the fear of running out of money may make people fear living in poverty and need to make more money: no matter if they aren't happy as long as they're safe -it's about the root chakra yk-. For example esp. in the Southern area of my country, not having a secure job is unsafe for many elders, they may push their children to work in State's offices even if they don't want to, so that they will be sure they'll get paid all the months). All this is just adding a stress that is totally unnecessary: as you're noticing, not feeling supported in our choices by those in an "authority spot" (be it family or state letting us down more or less figuratively) is not going to help us find happiness or even wealth (what one can consider it made of). And seeing other making it (famous people for instance), may make us envious of them. Resentful even.
I don't think there's someone living the perfect life, we all go through bad stuff, it's just a matter of how we decide to deal with it and how much we share. Many pretend it's not real and try to forget about it by focusing on whatever else, and even on other people (=famous people) but it doesn't work in the end: fake positivity or avoiding negativity never solved any problem. But this is where famous people come in: seeing good/positive posts and being pushed to believe that something good can be (as it will), or even just being comforted by someone we admire can be of help for those going through a bad moment. On the other side, by showing the best side of stuff, some influencers (eg.) may try to convince us to interact with them also to know more about them or to see if their life are really better and how we can be like them... but they mostly do that to gain something. We're still talking about a job (social media in particular, but remember every famous person also generally gains from their appearances and image): followers and interactions of any type with an account, help them reach certain numbers in the algorythm of that specific social media, get viral or become famous/known enough so that they can start collaborations and gain more. And live (they try to make money as well as anyone else: ofc it depends what idea we have of how they make money and how much we know of it). This too has lows ofc, as everything, but we may not always know about them unless the person wants to share about it.
What I mean is: yes society has f-up rules and ideas, it's pretty much corrupted, but it's not famous people the real problem imo. Maybe "common" people just find in them a way to escape their reality (be it for the best or the worst, to send love or hate; maybe they just project, find comfort, avoidance... whatever other need they have unmet), as I was saying. Maybe they just find online (reels/tiktok in particular, fast and entertaining stuff for a life that goes fast and people's decreasing attention span caused by generally feeling low and not being able to keep up with that pace and ending up alone/left out ig) the entertainment they need to unwind and that they cannot find in their lives: they need to look outside, to not think about themselves. I think that until we look at what goes on outside instead of inside (whether it's to find validation or support or whatever else we need and were never given), there's not much that we can change in our lives. I am not demonzing famous people by any means (nor juding "common" people's behaviours): it's part of their job to be there and act as a trigger (at times) for others, but that's not always a pleasant job in the end: what I mean is, maybe we don't have to blame them for what is going on as their lives have pros but also many many cons we need to consider, understand and respect. In their place many people may not be able to deal with the stress and all and give up easily (don't wanna talk about the many famous people giving in to various addictions because of this).
But if you feel like because of society you need to act in a certain way to be accepted and you need to accept crumbs in your relationships, then that's wrong imo. You are free, don't let society cage you into unreasonable rules. You can make your own rules: you may feel alone at first, but you're not going to be forever. There are other people like you. You deserve much more than crumbs and you deserve to at least try to live the life you dream of living. Try to stop for a moment and realize what is this confusion you're experiencing really about. What do you see in the way famous people are treated and what you make it mean of you in comparison (despite I generally don't suggest to compare with others for this but ...yeah)? Do you feel not enough? Do you feel rejected? Underappreciated? Not seen? Idk... Do you really know what you want for yourself and how to get it? If not, start from the basic, see what you really want and need, and work to obtain it. Whatever goes on around you.
Not sure if I said all I wanted to say but I guess I touched the main points at least... Take care<3

I've seen the same story happen with youtubers too many times to not note it as an observation. More and more I see youtubers complaining about the algorithm, complaining about their videos not getting enough views or getting recommended as much -- I see these youtubers paranoid that their uploads arent appearing on subscription feeds, paranoid that their videos are being discreetly muffled and leashed.
And they consistently end their twitter rants... by asking their audience to go view the video again, or play it on repeat, or share it, or comment on it.
I'm calling it for what it really is: this is just flat-out guilt-tripping your audience and it's so obnoxious to see it constantly happening. I've genuinely made mental decisions to NOT watch videos when youtubers so adamantly complain about those videos not getting the success they expected, because at some point it really does just feel like entitlement.
So many of these youtubers follow the same path. At the beginning of their channel, they were passionate and experimental: they uploaded consistently, they tried new things, and overall were content with any amount of success a video could get. And then at some point, one or a few of their videos suddenly pops off -- not because it was a particularly amazing video, but because it just happened to win the algorithm lottery: it just happened to be a video that got recommended to the right people at the right time, and was then shared by people onto the right platforms at the right time. And it just so happened then that enough people went on to watch more of your older videos and give those all a boost, too. Furthermore, you get more subscribers, they start watching your new content too.
This spike in success leads to a strong momentum, which I think too often deludes the youtuber into thinking this will be permanent: "I made a 1.1million viewed video! And my last video got 200k views in a day!" And they make the huge mistake of believing they can make a stable, consistent career out of that success.
Ultimately there then comes a point, for most of these people, where the stats start to change. People become less interested in the gimmick of their videos, or they wear themselves out on the content of the videos, or they become less excited for new videos and decide to watch them later -- a concept that youtubers silently hate, at least if their twitter rants are anything to go by. They see these videos not being as successful... and so they blame everything they can as to why that is. They think youtube is silencing them or not doing their part in recommending the video -- they expect the algorithm to constantly provide that same spike in success. They expect it even when they know that's not how the algorithm works.
It is... so crazy to me lol that these folks are admit loudly "the youtube algorithm is broken! its a mystery to how it works!" and yet... they expect it to always give them the best possible results. They expect it to somehow be consistent, which is just so wild, that they KNOW it's not ever going to be consistent, but they feel so entitled that they think it should just work miraculously in their favor.
It makes me wonder why so many people dive head-first into trying to make youtube their career. So many channels imo fall apart because the creator behind them loses focus, they become obsessed with making another 1million viewed video, and so they become disheartened by anything less than that -- a video can get a respectable 50k views or more, but since that's just a fraction of the 1million they expected, they believe themselves to be wronged.
And I get it, I get being frustrated by this system............. so why try to make it a career? It just seems to me, as a non-youtuber... that if I wanted to be a youtuber, I'd have to accept that it would likely be a project of passion -- I wouldn't just quit my day job just because some videos went slightly viral for a week. I would accept that success is largely a roll of the dice, and that I can't ever expect one month to be the same as the next -- I'd be prepared for the inevitable droughts where I simply am not getting the favor of the algorithm.
But instead what these youtubers always do is go to twitter, voice every hysteric thought they have, and then guilt-trip their audience into watching the video ASAP and to give it as much interaction as possible. In a sense, they blame you for not having a successful video, and wow that just pisses me off, ya know? Like, shit, sorry I didnt immediately drop what I was doing to watch a one-hour long video about your depression and/or the effects of racism or something lol. It sucks that these people want you to watch the video the moment it uploads, because they expect you to trigger the algorithm in their favor -- fuck waiting until you have free time, just the video now so it can get momentum faster.
And these people... are plainly getting trolled, too. Once again, I have to point out that I've never had trouble with my subscription feed. Every time a new video should be there, it's there. And when I see youtubers complain about their videos getting suppressed or not appearing on sub feeds... weirdly enough, their video is ALWAYS on my sub feed where it belongs. Which has just convinced me, unfortunately, that these youtubers are getting trolled on twitter -- being told by "fans" that youtube isn't recommending them the video, it isn't showing up on their feed, sometimes theyll go as far as to say it doesnt even appear in a search. And that just, of course, rapidly drives up the youtuber's paranoia, validating their fears that something outside of their control is intentionally making their videos worse......... rather than realizing that, yep, sometimes you put out a video and it doesn't luck out with the algorithm.
I can only speculate these things because Im not a youtuber, I dont see what's behind the curtain, but if nothing else, as a viewer experience, I just get so tired of this guilt-tripping. I understand disliking the algorithm, it is definitely a fucked system to rely on, but at some point it would be good to understand how thats the game...

Love For The Faceless
Corpse Husband x Youtuber!Reader(Female)
Warnings: Swearing
Genre: Fluff
Summary: Y/N is a YouTube gamer who has recently gained a much larger following thanks to the streams she does with her friends. Naturally, considering her faceless and bodiless nature, people are starting to get curious about her. When she finally follows her friend Corpse’s example, a lot more than her hands is revealed.
Requested by anon, you know who you are 😉 Thank you so much for placing a request and hope this fic fulfills the expectations you have for it.
“Hey!“ I greet the lobby as I finally hop into the Discord call after quickly saying ‘hi‘ to my audience.
I’ve been a YouTuber for four years now and I’ve only recently started streaming, encouraged to do so by my best friend Rae. She’s the one who got me in multiplayer games such as Among Us and Phasmophobia which led me to meet her amazing gaming squad that consists of some of the most famous names on the platform. They are all wonderful people and I will forever be in Rae’s debt for introducing me to them. However, becoming friends with Felix, Sean and the rest of the team brought not only a more fulfilled life, but also a small boost in following. Who am I kidding, it wasn’t small. It was overwhelming, terrifying even.
My YouTube channel had a little over a million subscribers at the start of quarantine and now....now it’s closer to three million. Speaking of three million, I’m about to reach it any day now and it’s really hard to believe. I’m a gaming youtuber and I’ve never considered changing my genre despite expecting to not get any attention whatsoever, with all the big names on the platform. I was convinced not even as many as a hundred people would stumble across my videos and now here we are.
My OG subscribers are very supportive of my sudden growth and are defending me when my newer fans ask for a face reveal or whatnot. While we’re on that topic I might have to mention that not even my YouTube friends, and that includes Rae have seen my face. I’ve been faceless and bodiless for the entirety of my time on social media. Some claim I do it to grab more attention or for dramatic effect, but the reason is beyond that. I’m not shallow. Actually, shallow people are the reason I don’t show my face. I’ve never been the prettiest, but my middle school bully thought that I wasn’t lacking self confidence enough. As a result, I ended up with a not so handsome scar on my right cheek that starts from the corner of my mouth and nearly misses my eye. Yeah, it’s a long and pretty noticeable scar that has thankfully become less and less obvious as the years have progressed. Still, it’s not something I’d like to show to my viewers.
Eight ‘hi’s greet me back, each making my smile grow wider. “Sorry I’m late guys. Technical difficulties.”
“Don’t worry.“ Rae’s voice dominates over the rest, “Corpse still isn’t here so we’re waiting for him.“
I mute myself on the Discord call and take a look at my comments. I’m most flattered by the comments about my voice. Seeing as how they don’t have much to compliment about me other than my content, they make the nicest comments about my voice, personality and humor. Those comments are the ones who warm my heart most. Even when people in my day to day life compliment my appearance I can’t find it in me to believe they are being genuine. I’d like to believe these amazing people are being one hundred percent honest when they tell me they like me for who I am and not for what I might look like.
“Sorry I’m late guys.“ A deep voice causes me to even physically jolt, switching my focus from the comments to the Among Us lobby where my eyes land on the newly materialized black avatar.
“Hi Corpse.“ Rae greets him.
“Hello mister who broke Twitter!“ Sean laughs, provoking the laughter of the rest of the players.
“Yeah, congratulations man. That’s a big deal.“ Felix chimes in.
“Thanks guys, but I think you’re forgetting we’re talking about a picture of my hand.“ Corpse chuckles timidly. I have noticed how shy he gets when someone gives him a compliment - like a snail slowly withdrawing in its shell. I find it adorable.
“That’s what makes it even better!“ I unmute my mic, sending my own congratulations.
“While we’re on that topic...“ Rae begins, waiting for the rest of us to shut our traps, suggesting she has something important to say. “Y/N, do you ever plan on doing a reveal like that? Not a face reveal. Just a body part reveal.“
I have no problem talking about the subject with friends but I get nervous when I’m supposed to discuss it with my fans. Seeing as how everyone, including myself, is streaming right now, I get a bit of a stutter in my speech. “Haven’t thought about it yet. But I guess a body part reveal is harmless.” I cringe immediately after letting the words leave my mouth, “That sounds so weird.”
Rae knows that I’m not too fond of my face, but I haven’t told her about my scar yet. I let almost all people I’ve met online think I’m using my lack of appearance for effect. For the mystery of it all. Mysteries attract people which equals attention. Attention equals views and the domino effect continues.
“Just a suggestion. No pressure.“ Rae adds quickly, knowing full well I get anxious when the subject is brought up in front of cameras. “Let’s get this game started, shall we.”
                                                          * * *
The idea dwells in my mind, sitting on the back burner even after I disconnect from the Discord call. I’m sitting in my gaming chair, which was a gift for my two million milestone, and weighing out the pros and cons of the action Rae suggested I take.
“It’s a picture of your fucking hand, dummy. How bad can it turn out?“ I say out loud, shaking my head at my indecisiveness. “You’ll be fine.”
In a blur, two pictures are already posted on my Instagram. The first one captioned ‘Took a leaf from my friend’s book. Did I do it right @ corpsehusband?’ and the second ‘Thanks, Rae. These are on you.’
Rae’s POV
As I’m watching a movie in my living room, I get a notification from Instagram, informing me that Y/N has posted for the first time in a while.
I scoff, “More like the first time in forever.”
The first thing that comes to my mind is the possibility of her reaching that three million milestone that’s been long time coming. I bring the glass of water that’s sitting on my coffee table to my lips, taking a sip as I tap the notification. The picture I see makes me hurry to put the glass back down so I don’t drop it. Y/N’s hand. Her fingers are covered with several thin rings each. And here I thought Corpse had too many rings, this girl has at least two on every finger!
Then my eyes land on the second picture she has posted only minutes after the first and my heart drops. I struggle to get the water that’s been sitting in my moth down my esophagus while my mind is struggling with the task to comprehend the picture I’m looking at.
Another hand is resting on top of Y/N’s. A hand also covered in rings but fewer and larger. The nails are painted black.
I think I know who it belongs to.
Before I can even finish the thought, I’m dialing Y/N. She picks up after the second ring, sound cheery as ever as she greets me. “Hey Rae!”
“Don’t you ‘Hey Rae’ me!” I practically scream. I hate being kept in the dark about anything ever so this is just driving me mad. On top of all, she’s my best friend, for fuck’s sake. “Is that Corpse in the photo with you?!”
“Ugh....“ the cheeriness to her voice is all but gone now.
I go on with my rant, not giving her the time to reply. Not that she would reply. I bet she doesn’t know what to say. “So he knows where you live?! Or was the picture taken at his place?! He knows what you look like?! You have seen him! He has seen you in real life but me, your best friend, haven’t!!! You are breaking Covid 19 protection laws to take pictures?! Are you fucking serious, Y/N?!”
There’s a long moment of silence which frustrates me even more but I literally have run out of things to yell and the power to be angry. I mean, I still am, I just can’t express it.
“Rae, sweetheart, please calm down. You’re scary when you’re mad.“ This girl has some fucking nerve! She’s on the verge of laughing!
“Listen here you...“
“Rae, please stop scaring my girlfriend.“ That oh so distinguishable, oh so familiar voice interrupts me.
I am flabbergasted, for a lack of a better term.
“Now that we’ve got you quiet, I can explain.“ Y/N pics up the conversation, “Corpse and I have been dating for six, almost seven months now. We started dating around Easter after talking for quite some time. We moved in together at the end of September. All thanks to you, Rae. You’re the best.” She pauses to breathe in real quick, “There, all caught up?“
I’m in no less shock than I was before she explained. Actually, I think I might be even more confused now. It all just feels like a fever dream. “Yes...no. I don’t fucking know! I need details, Y/N!”
“Details later.“ Corpse makes his presence known once again, “We’re watching Family Guy right now. Talk to you later.“
“Love you, Rae!“ Y/N calls out before the line goes dead.
My arm goes limp, dropping my phone on the couch next to me.
“Motherfuckers” I mumble under my breath.
Y/N’s POV
It’s been a week since Rae has stopped talking to both Corpse and me. I know she just needs some time to cool off. In the meantime, the rest of our friends were informed and, as oppose to Rae, were nothing but supportive and overjoyed. I bet Rae feels the same way though. Sean, Dave and the rest of the gang have confirmed that she’s incredibly happy for us and says she noticed a spark between me and him since day one, but she can’t help but be mad at us, and especially me, for not telling her sooner.
“Any regrets?“ I remember Corpse asking me when we hung up on her after dropping the bomb.
“Not being able to see her face when she saw the picture.“ I beam at him, feeling as content as ever.
He laughs, agreeing with me before leaning down to kiss me.

everything i’m insecure about ~ corpse husband
word count: 946
request?: no
description: in which the things his fans say become too much for her and she starts to believe them
pairing: corpse x female!reader
warnings: swearing, angst (kinda?), insecurities
masterlist (one, two)
Tumblr media
The Discord disconnect sound alerted everyone that someone had left the call, but it was the bright red letters reading “(Y/S/N) has left the game” that brought their laughing to a halt.
“Did (Y/N) leave?” Rae asked.
“Wifi might’ve dropped,” Jack responded.
“The wifi is working fine for me,” Corpse told them. “I don’t hear her moving in the other room.”
“Corpse, if you want to go check on her we’ll wait to start the lobby again,” Toast offered.
Corpse shook his head, forgetting that his friends couldn’t see them. “No, I’ll leave and come back in a bit. You guys can play without me.”
He left the Among Us game and placed his headphones aside. (Y/N) hadn’t come into his room yet, which was why Corpse thought she had merely disconnected by accident. If she had decided she was finished streaming, she would’ve told everyone and come over to join him in his room.
He walked to the guest bedroom where (Y/N) had her streaming set up. Instead of being sat at her computer like Corpse expected, (Y/N) was laid on her back on the guest bed, staring up at the ceiling. He could see something shiny on her cheeks, and realized they were also flushed - she was crying.
Noticing Corpse walk in, she quickly wiped her face and tried to smile. “Hey. Are you done streaming?”
“I wasn’t, but I may be now,” Corpse responded. “What happened, (Y/N)?”
“Nothing. Don’t worry, go back to your stream.”
Doing the exact opposite, Corpse crossed the room and laid next to (Y/N). He took her into his arms and rested her head on his chest. This was enough to finally break (Y/N) and she began to cry into Corpse’s chest.
Corpse smoothed her hair and allowed her to cry as she needed. He wasn’t going to push her to talk if she didn’t want to.
After some time, (Y/N)’s sobbing started to calm down and she spoke, “They hate me.”
“Who hates you?” Corpse asked.
“Your fans. They hate me. They’ve been spamming my social media and my chats with so much hate. I turned on subscribers only chat, but some of them even ended up subscribing to send me hate. I turned off my social media comments and replies and my inboxes, but they’re still getting to me somehow.”
“What do they say?”
(Y/N) hesitated. She already felt like she had said too much. She didn’t want to make Corpse upset with his fans. Obviously it wasn’t all of them giving her trouble, but it felt like the select few who were had made it their live mission to make her miserable.
“(Y/N),” Corpse prompted after a prolonged silence. “What are they saying?”
(Y/N) sighed and finally said, “They keep saying you should be with Rae instead of me. They post clips of you and Rae when you stream together and say you’re cuter together than we are, and that she’s better for you than I am.”
Corpse felt his anger rise at this. He didn’t mind the playful shipping his fans did - like Corpsekkuno - but when they took it too far like this he hated it. Especially now, seeing (Y/N) so upset over things that were just untrue.
“You know they’re wrong, right?” (Y/N) was silent. Corpse moved his head to try and see her face, but she moved to look away. “(Y/N).”
“They’re not completely wrong,” she said.
“Babe - ”
“She’s so much older than I am,” (Y/N) cut him off. “She’s so much more mature. And she’s pretty, and you two get along so well.”
“She’s like my sister,” he added. “(Y/N), they’re just trying to get in your head. I love you more than anything, and only you. You’re the one I want to be with, and in my eyes, you’re meant for me.”
Tears started to form in her eyes again, but this time they were from happiness. Corpse squeezed her slightly and kissed her forehead.
(Y/N) shrieked and giggled as Corpse stood and lifted her from the bed. He carried her to his room, where they both realized Corpse was still streaming. He placed (Y/N) down onto his bed and leaned into his mic. “Sorry for being gone so long guys, but I’m gonna dip. Hit me up for the next lobby.”
His friends chorused goodbyes and well wishes for (Y/N) before Corpse left the call.
“Sorry to anyone watching for the silence,” he said to his viewers. “I hope the Discord call without the visuals made for great out of context jokes. I’ll talk about my reason for going MIA later, but for now thanks for watching and I’ll see you guys next stream.”
He got in bed next to (Y/N), but this time he rested his head on her chest.
“You didn’t need to end the stream,” she told him. “I wouldn’t have minded watching for a while.”
“Nah, I would’ve went on a rant if I kept streaming. I want to cuddle with you for a while, then I want to show you that I love you and only you.”
(Y/N) smiled and wrapped her arms around Corpse. She ran her fingers through his curly hair, taking in the familiar scent of his cologne mixed with his shampoo.
“I love you, too,” she whispered into his hair. “Thank you.”
“You don’t have anything to thank me for. Everything I say is the truth, and you know I’m always here to assure you, babe.”
She kissed the top of his head, silently thanking him again.

Please can you guys make a YouTube video? Do you guys think this people will stop because your outting them on Tumblr only? they have patreons from Instagram and YouTube because those sims YouTubers have 0 idea of this creators and what they're doing you wanna make more smoke you wanna make more noice expose them on YouTube those simmers YouTubers with their cc finds or most have cc videos promote this thief's on the daily making them gain subscribers if the proof is accurate and real why not making justice and encourage people who are pledge or was from this people to speak out about their experiences and people need to stop calling that bedgorhoedog a creator why not thief ? because that parasite ain't a creator who spends hours in a computer working on meshes only converts for money a cc creator is someone that really works in their cc not a parasite that buy models nothing would stop them unless you fuck them in all platforms Instagram, YouTube and Tumblr you wanna destroy them you wanna end them ? Do it in all platforms not just one because that's why they barely post here because they're comfortable on other platforms Tumblr is not the only source for them to gain patreons is time for y'all to make aware all communities what's going on if you really wanna read this individuals to hell
The sims 4 alpha community haves a lot of thief's or have we forgotten how those rp Instagram accounts are stealing like snakes on crack SL meshes ? Are we that blind tho
Hello, unfortunately we do not have a following everywhere so we do what we can, we do know that there is currently a reddit post on thesims subreddit with 1.7k upvotes so it is getting out there. Its also been posted on twitter, the sims forum and facebook cc groups. As for Youtube simmer Milah sims did make a rant, but I would encourage our followers to ask sim youtubers to report on this situation, and any simfluencers who promote these people to withdraw their support. We ask that you do this respectfully! We don't want anyone to get hate. We also just pinned a post with a youtube video with a short rundown of the situation but as far as what would be most effective, encouraging established creators to speak on this situation would be most effective. Thanks for your question anon!

I know that in the grand scheme of things Lily doesn’t have the HIGHEST following of an abuser or pedophile on Youtube, but it still makes my blood fucking boil to watch her subscriber count shoot up like it currently is. Maybe I’m overreacting, but the fact that her desperate tactics to try to gain more relevance by pandering to the Steven Universe hatedom again is actually fucking WORKING is making me sick to my fucking stomach. She literally flashes minors on her YOUTUBE LIVESTREAMS, LO shouldn’t even HAVE a fucking Youtube channel anymore!!!!!!!! I’ve reported all of her accounts, I’ve tried to spread awareness of all of her horrific abuse and grooming on my own social media accounts, but so many people literally STILL just do not fucking care. They just see that she happens to hate some tropes or some cartoons that they also happen to hate, and IMMEDIATELY turn their fucking brains off and just mindlessly consume her gross fucking rants.
your anger and frustration are both justified entirely by this depressing situation, anon, but we can't lose sight of the advancement we have managed to get this year alone. more and more people are becoming aware of the kind of person LO is and leaving her on the dust in response. the views that the videos exposing her or criticizing her getting more views than her own should be a sign that things are changing for the better. she might get one video to be successful but that doesn't mean that those people will stay for long. if you search her name on any social, most of the comments are going to be talking about stockholm or other bad takes she had. it's very rare to see open support of her. that's a good thing that we can't lose sight of or will end up giving ourself a headache.
