wip !! here's a moodboard <3

fake happy // e.w.

ellie williams is a freak, and that's just a fact. others deemed that she is not to be trusted from the moment she was born. in a world where everything is real and raw, it's hard to lie. but ellie doesn't quite fit into the category of 'real and raw.'

everybody's moods are displayed above their heads like little emoticons - there's no fake, there's no lies, there's simply emotion. except for ellie. nobody could figure out why ellie's feelings were not displayed. she'd been seen by every doctor, every specialist, every psychiatrist, and psychologist, and none of them knew what could cause this. and so an assumption was made that she doesn't feel anything.

nobody knows how she feels at any given moment, and in a world where people are spoiled with honesty, nobody wants to believe ellie isn't dishonest. nobody wants to be played by her.

somehow surviving life up to college without ever even having a friend, ellie's accepted that she's in for a lonely life. the only person she has is joel, and well, even he can be misunderstanding at times.

and ellie's sure her professor must hate her, because he partnered her for a project with the one girl who is always happy, without fail. the girl whose mood above her head is always, always, always a yellow smiley face. ellie would even say she's jealous, that she hates you, but she can't help but feel herself smiling whenever you're around. you're like a ray of sunshine. if sunshine knew how to lie.

ok ok ok so. i feel a little bit crazy and like nobody is going to like this fic but i kind of want to write it. this is just me posting to see if anyone actually would read it 😭 not like that would motivate/demotivate me but idk. im curious paramore inspired fics first of all, the best ones. secondly, i feel like maybe years ago i read a fic with a similar premise which inspired this but it's also mainly inspired by the music video for fake happy by paramore. and also, i always write fics about reader having the 'i can fix her' mentality for ellie so this time it's ellie saying 'i can fix her' about reader. this one would be for my fellow sad/anxious girlies who love big hurt/comfort vibes. it would be an angsty ride but not without lots of comfort :D two people who are very sad falling in love and helping each other with their issues? i think yes. this fic would be very? angst and hurt/comfort and some fluff idk if there'd be smut ... anyway this was more a way for me to brainstorm for the idea (by making the moodboard and blurb) i have yet to do literally any plotting or writing for it..

❛intro❜ : every generation has famous ships , it's inevitable.... but out of all the fourth gen ships , there hasn't been any that comes close the mess of a love triangle that is heesuhoon.

quick heesuhoon analysis: heeseung likes sua , but sunghoon also likes sua , but sua hates love triangles and they both know that but that doesn't stop them , and they think they're being slick but fans are aware and some are team suseung and some are team suhoon , and then theres a portion of them who just want all three of them to get a house together and live there lives until their golden age there (me) and for heehoon to stop being so obviously suspicious of jungwon , because of the small crush he had during i-land...

anyways today we're here to decide who's the best ship , and then it's up to you guys to pick your favorite ship

Special Visitor

Summary: You come to watch one of Pablo's games and then you two go on your first date! Very cute and fluffy :)

You were very excited for seeing the game today especially since you started dating one of the players..and not just anybody but Pablo Paez Gavira! Yes, THE GAVI!

He made your relationship official right away because he didn't want rumors and gossip to bother your young relationship. Even though people knew about you, everything about your relationship remains private which is what you both like.

pabloitoo: can't wait to see you today nena :)

minena: me too!! good luck today pablitoo! do you like my fit??

You sent him the photo of you in his jersey which immediately made Pablo's heart flutter and his shorts get tight. He heard other players comment about their girls wearing their jerseys being special, but he was experiencing it for a very first time.

pablitoo: I'm obsessed amor😍

minena: hehe see you tonight ❤️❤️

When the time finally came, you were completely ready getting into your car and driving to the stadium on your own. You met up with Mikky at the stands happy to have someone beside you in all this craziness.

"This is insane!" you said looking around noticing a bunch of people taking photos of you knowing you as 'Gavi's new girlfriend' but you didn't pay them much attention since your man walked up on the pitch.

"You should get used to it, Frenkie told me Pablo is adoring you!" Mikky said and you blushed at the fact that Pablo wasn't shy to tell his friends about your relationship.

"He's really sweet, we're going on our first date today.." you say and Mikky wanted all the details but you said it was all Pablo's surprise and that you were very excited for it.

The game started and it was rougher then usual making you jumpy all the way checking if Pablo will get back up after every push and kick.

"Relax, it's always like this when we play against Getafe" Mikky said but you were still concerned whenever Pablo would fall praying it was nothing serious knowing how much he loves to play.

Right before the end of the first half, Lewandowski scored and you jumped celebrating with Mikky really loving the atmosphere all around you. It really felt like a giant family being on stands.

Soon afterwards it started raining as players retreated from the pitch for the fifteen minute halftime break. Pablo ran to grab his hoodie wearing it before walking out looking up and waving at you.

He knew from the photo you sent that you haven't brought a jacket so he made his way up to give you his hoodie with a cap in case in continues to rain.

"GAVI! GAVI! Give it to me please!! Please!!" fans were swarming around him while security pushed them back letting him pass all the way to you.

"I have to make sure my girl isn't cold, I'm sorry guys!" he said finally taking it off when he was standing in front of you placing it in your hands while you stood their shocked and completely in love with him.

Nobody ever treated you like this before..it was really special.

"T..thank y..you" you were mumbling which he found adorable pulling you close into a hug before pecking your lips making your face completely red while Mikky took a video to send you later.

"Make sure to wear it if it gets cold!" he said and you just nodded unable to speak in this moment and he smirked nodding his head and kissing your forehead before retreating back down.

"You're so in love with each other!!" Mikky said shaking your shoulders and you were giggling putting the hoodie over your head and taking in his strong scent that surrounded you. You put the cap once it started raining again.

The game ended with the same score, and you were complete wet now but very content and proud of your boy. You met with Pablo where you agreed and he giggled when he saw you all wet and smiley.

"Hola, mi amor..you gonna get shy one me again huh??" he smirked and you hit his shoulder reminding him that this is all new for you still and that there were a lot of people.

"We might need to get our dinner delivered because we're both wet now amorcito??" he asked and you giggled nodding your head and taking his hand as he took you to the car.

You came to the apartment, getting changed in some Pablo's clothes before cuddling on the couch waiting for your dinner to arrive.

"I'm sorry we didn't go somewhere special for our first date.." Pablo said caressing your arm and you looked up at him soft brown eyes smiling at his face.

"This is the most special moment in my life..I'm so proud of you for winning..and I have never felt more comfortable than now" you said and he smiled nodding his head and kissing your hair and then your lips. Your moment was interrupted by the door bell and you giggled.

"Comida!!" you jumped and he giggled opening the door and getting the things you ordered before you put them all on the table in the living room sitting down and playing some TV show in the background.

"I'm full! Ugh!" you say tapping your stomach and Pablo giggled opening his arms and you cuddled up to him letting him play with your hair enjoying it very much.

"Have I told you how precious you look in my clothes amor..so tiny" you say putting his hand inside the hoodie you were wearing which was very much HUGE on your small body. You blushed and giggled while nodding your head agreeing with him.

"Will it always be like this Pablito?" you ask and he smiled kissing your nose calling you adorable once again. Little did you know he was falling in love with you all over again in this moment.

"I can't say things will always be easy and that I'll always win when you watch me..but I will always take only you home..and I will love you right..that I can promise princesa" he said and you felt your heart melt and his beautiful words. He was definitely something special..

"You will always be mi campeon Pablito..te amo" you say blushing at the words you used a little scared it was way too soon but his face said a different story.

"Te amo tambien mi nena" he said and you smiled relaxing now and kissing him once more. The rest of the night you cuddled, laughed, watched TV and kissed every once in awhile..what a perfect first date!

Phee and Jin as parallels in DFF episode 7

I feel like I haven't seen enough people talk about how Phee and Jin are parallels in episode 7. Both reacting in anger in ways that damage Non, and that they likely carry guilt for in the future...

Spoilers for episode 7 below:

In episode 7, we see both Jin and Phee react to Non badly after finding out that Non has had sex with Keng. And the way they both react to that information is... not good.

Phee reacts to the knowledge that Non has been "cheating on" him (I'd like to remind people that Non was coerced so we as the audience shouldn't label it that way, but from Phee's POV that's what it was) by telling Non to "get lost and die"

And he says this despite knowing that Non has su*cidal tendencies and tried to take his own life what seems like mere days before this.

I feel like people gloss over this because they understand why Phee is angry. And I understand too. But the point still stands that Phee basically tells Non to go k!ll himself despite knowing that the consequences of that could be dire... and permanent. If Non actually d!es, disappears, or heaven forbid actually kills himself after this? I don't doubt that Phee will carry the guilt of those final words for the rest of his life, and think of what he could've and should've done differently to prevent that unfortunate fate...

On the other hand, Jin. Who reacts to seeing Non sleeping with someone by recording him. Jin isn't shown to post the video himself, but he still made that snap decision in anger. Copper has said Jin reacted this way because he thought Non was cheating on his boyfriend...

But regardless of his intentions, the fact remains that the video he recorded is the one that was later released. And you can see on his face even in the past that he feels bad about it, feels guilty for his part in what happened. And in the present you see that same guilt...

There's a parallel drawn between these two boys. The two leads of this series who have revolved around Non this entire time. One with a crush, one, his boyfriend. Both dealing with harsh emotions and dragged into the mess that's been created by the others. They both react in anger to the same situation, both do something INCREDIBLY damaging to Non in a snap moment of anger. And both of them, I'm sure, carry that guilt into the future...

It changes Jin from a happy, smiley person into one who is serious and harsh to his friends, who has a damaged relationship with those closest around him, who calls himself a coward and wants to run to another country and never come back.

And it changes Phee from someone who whole-heartedly loves and asks the person he loves to be his boyfriend... to someone who can't get the words out, who seems afraid of commitment. Because he could get hurt? Or because he could hurt them again?

The impact of these actions have changed both boys in the present, and the parallels in the episode are so striking and interesting... and I don't think people talk about it enough. There's potential for a compelling story about these two learning to heal and forgive themselves.

And I hope the show delivers on it, because it would be an incredibly deep and compelling story that touches on dark pieces of humanity that we all carry. The guilt and shame of not always being our best person, and the impacts that has on the people around us. It could show something really touching and heartfelt if these two people who were kids during all of this can learn to forgive each other, forgive themselves, and move into the future together.

I believe everyone needs to realize if the above were true then there’d be no debate as to if this is a real or PR relationship.

The simple fact that so much comes out about them to drive or paint a narrative, only for Chris to be the complete opposite physically of how he expresses things ……says enough.

People can call us delusional for not believing this relationship, but I call those who blindly believe what’s purposefully crafted for you to believe gullible and delusional ….to think that this man who has been in the spotlight for 20+ yrs, whose expressed his emotions freely, who stated what he wanted in a relationship in the SMA article only to go public with the complete opposite two days later. To think he’s done a 180 in the worst way due to “being in love”…..nah, I’m not buying what’s being sold.

One has to ask themselves why are all these articles trying to paint him and her as so in love, yet REALITY based on their own body language and expressions show you the complete opposite?!

Show me ONE pic or video shot of them not aware they are being filmed acting or looking so “in love”.

(Oops that already happened …..in the park when he put his hand in his pocket as she reached for it.)

Even the purposefully crafted Valentine’s Day montage and the scare videos seemed fake and staged, every new update the past few months just adds to the speculation that this is bs based on their own actions.

What couple so in love acts like they don’t know or like each other like that. People claim we get a glimpse in their lives, but it’s been two freaking years of bs, regardless of not knowing their every move every single day, we can clearly see something isn’t genuine.

Even after the marriage confirmation from this man’s own mouth, it STILL doesn’t add up based on HIS own actions/inactions.

If Chris was genuinely happy and in love……we’d clearly see it, not have to “read” about it.

I agree with you! I think it's important to note that this whole "PR or real" debate started because of them. It started with them kind of alluding that something is going on with different things (NYE 1.0., LV, the follows and likes) while not admitting they are "together" and then continued with the NYC pap walk 1.0. As you said, if from the very beginning we'd seen how happy and in love he is, Team PR probably wouldn't even exist. I'm not saying there wouldn't be people out there who believe it's PR, but not this amount, for sure.

I agree that his body language is always off and weird around her, like he isn't comfortable or like he is forced to be there. And considering the things you've mentioned, everything seems so fake and manufactured. We saw him being out with his girlfriends for years, and I'm not saying they were always smiley and all over each other, but there were clear moments where you could see they were in love, but there isn't a single one with Alba.

I don't blame people who think this is real. Most people just don't care enough about them or simply think whatever they say must be true. I think there are people on both sides who are "delusional" (I don't really like using this word though), believing and creating things that are clearly bullshit, or thinking that everything that happens proves a point.

It's truly weird to see the contrast between the articles and their body language. They are supposed to be "the one" for each other, yet they behave more intimately with their friends and seem to be more comfortable and natural around them. His body language and behavior should be the three times of everything we saw from his previous relationship since he is "head over heels" for her, but where is that huge love? I don't see it.

I think the NYC Pap Walk 1.0. video you mentioned was a big turning point. I mean, that pap walk was awful, but seeing how tragic it was behind the scenes was really interesting. He clearly didn't want to hold her hands, and to this day, they always walk next to each other as if they were just fighting a few minutes before.

The VD day dump didn't help either. Everything just feels so unnatural, fabricated, and out of character for him. I know we don't know him, but we saw how he acted in this previous relationship, and maybe if I saw that huge love we are supposed to see, I would believe he's changed his habits, but I see the exact opposite. And the wedding story has a lot of plot holes too.

The words, spoken and written, just don't match the body language.

Headcanons for Akashi laughing 🤭

Back with another headcanon post. Hooray for chronic Akashi brainrot! Lemme make this quick so I can go to bed.

As we all know, for most of the manga/anime, Akashi is someone who is portrayed as a serious, analytical, and (depending on which personality is in control) cold person. But he wasn't/isn't always like that as we've come to realize. Let me explore his character chronologically through the canon material before I get into my headcanons so we can establish some things about his personality.

When he was a child, he was seen to be much more of a smiley person because while his mother was still alive she allowed him to just be a kid. So I'm sure he had plenty to smile about before her passing.

After that, Akashi enrolls in Teiko, and at age 13 he still smiles, but they're smaller and he seems more mild-mannered and reserved compared to when he was younger. However, that doesn't mean his smiles aren't genuine. He still had happy moments in Teiko up until his second year, and he enjoyed hanging out with the rest of the GoM + Kuroko and Momoi. But we still never really saw him laugh. I'm sure he did during those times, but it was never anything that was shown explicitly.

After he switched personalities, he was barely smiling at all. Bro was miserable. He would smile every once in a while but in more of an unhinged way if that makes sense. Maybe he chuckled once when he met Mayuzumi. If you can even call it a chuckle. It was more like he puffed out a breath of air. And again, it was in more of an unhinged way. I remember in one of the Replace novels, Mibuchi made an observation that before Akashi switched back to his true self, he could never tell if his smile was genuine or if he was simply using it as a tool to get others to let their guard down. This is what I mean by "unhinged".

But post-Winter Cup? Akashi is nothing but smiley and I love that for him. Obviously, it's still slightly toned down, but it's a much better improvement from both his first year at Rakuzan AND his entire Teiko run. He seems to have just finally given up on facades and allowed himself to be more open with how he feels, which has canonically led to his teammates seeing sides of Akashi they'd never seen before.

In the post-Winter Cup content, I've seen him chuckle a lot more, and his voice when he chuckles is the most precious thing ever and I wish I could hear more of it. But that takes care of the canon, so let's get into my headcanons, shall we?

First of all, what makes Akashi laugh? Well, from the canon, we've seen that most of the time, it's when he's watching his teammates' antics and chuckles in amusement. But if you really want to make him laugh, I feel like, similar to my headcanons on how to startle Akashi, you'd have to catch him off guard. Like, you'd have to say or do something so ridiculous and left-field that it catches Akashi off guard and makes him laugh out of the sheer unexpectedness of it all.

So, how would Akashi look when he laughs? It would depend on how hard he's laughing. If it's one of those cute lil chuckles he does, he has this small smile on his face and his eyes sparkle with fondness. But if you're lucky enough to get an unrestrained laugh out of Akashi, chances are either his head is tilted back or his shoulders are hunched as he's bent over trying to catch his breath. He's probably not even looking at you either because when he laughs like that his eyes can't help but close. And his face crinkles in the most precious way.

How does he sound when he laughs? For small chuckles, we already have examples of this in canon; refer to the KNB drama CD season 3 volume 9 if you need a reference. But if he were to laugh really hard? Well, first of all, he pegs me as the type of person who would at first try and hold himself together before failing miserably.

I'm not sure if this counts as canon or not, but I remember a KNB video game where there was a scene where the GoM was reminiscing on some couple's costume event they were dragged into participating in back in Teiko, and Akashi had mentioned that when he saw Aomine in a dress and Midorima in a woman's kimono, he literally had to stop looking at them to keep from bursting into laughter.

Going off of that, if Akashi was caught off guard and found something really funny, he'd probably be like "PFFFT" before catching himself and trying to hide his growing smile behind his hand. But then it gets too hard to hold in his laugh so he gives up and just laughs wholeheartedly. The more funny something is, the harder it is to hold back, so if he's laughing really hard, you will absolutely hear it. He's not a super loud laugher like Kise or even Takao, but if he's laughing hard he's definitely not quiet about it. His voice sounds very melodic while he's laughing, too. He probably got that from his mom. 🥹

How do people react to him laughing? GoM + Momoi are more accustomed to seeing him happy/smiley, so when he laughs, they're more endeared by it, if anything, because it reminds them that Akashi is back to his old self. But his Rakuzan team (more specifically, the Uncrowned Kings) is still getting used to Akashi's true self and is figuring things out about him every day. So I would think that post-Winter Cup is when they hear Akashi properly laugh for the first time and all of them come to a nonverbal agreement that they must protect Akashi's smile at all costs. They also take note of things that Akashi finds amusing just for the sole purpose of using them to make him laugh again and see that adorable laughing face of his.

As time goes on and Akashi becomes more open, it's less and less difficult to get him to laugh, and he expresses himself much more freely compared to before. Happiness is a good look on him and his friends hope that he continues to stay this happy for a long time.

Reading the (Visual) Rainbow 101

Lesson 3 - Other Visuals

Because I get so many asks about colors, I decided the best way to celebrate Pride is to educate anyone who is interested in how to better Read the (Visual) Rainbow and simultaneously allow myself to appreciate queer media.

Do you ever notice visual cues when watching a show? Do you ever feel the background noise is trying to tell you something important?

Well, either way, this lesson is for you!

As mentioned in Lesson 1, visual rhetoric is the use of images to persuade the audience of the piece's purpose. Since shows are a collection of moving images, the objects included within them are used as tools to enhance our understanding of the show.

*This is a Semantic Error appreciation post*

Metaphor, Metonymy, and Meaning

To save on time, the simplest way to explain these (which they are different) is that a single item is used for a larger abstract idea. There are many examples, like a smiley face can represent happiness but also the facade of happiness, a dove can represent peace, and an hourglass represents times. For instance, when Puen gifted Talay a pink hourglass, which was his color, it symbolized the borrowed time they had, but also the time they had spent with each other in that universe.

If lights turn on after a period of darkness, this represents an awakening or enlightenment.

If we see hearts, we know it's love.

If someone's face is hidden behind other objects like a mask, they have a secret.

If we see rain, it usually means sadness (like tears), and a storm meanings conflict.

And if we see a man drinking bitter chocolate while he watches his crush go to lunch with a bunch of women, we can assume he, too, is bitter.

But you don't always have to look at the deeper meaning of objects because sometimes, the object speaks directly to us:

Clothing - That's a Loud Outfit

Clothing is one of the easiest elements to notice in media because it is on the characters, and we regularly see them.

Let's rewind to Lesson 2 - Color Basics. We learned about the difference between warm colors and cool colors, and that the colors include lighting. If you watched George Michael's "Freedom! '90" music video, you may have noticed that the lighting changes from cool to warm during the video. Maybe you noticed the changed truly began with the burning of Michael's infamous BSA Rocker's Revenge leather jacket that he wore in his 1987 "Faith" video which cemented him as a sex object.

Michael, the epitome of masculinity at that moment, surprisingly decided to not appear in this video. Instead, the music video famously featured supermodels (in their prime - LINDA EVANGELISTA!) in various states of undress. If you noticed the lyrics, Michael sings that clothes do not make the man as the chorus builds to Michael repeating "Freedom!" several times.

The burning of Michael's jacket, a piece of clothing, brings warmth and happiness due to what the jacket symbolizes. The models, whose job is to wear clothing, experience warm light the more they shed their clothes.

This is visual rhetoric at its finest. The visuals are reinforcing the narrative of the song. Normally, nudity means freedom and vulnerability, but within the context of the song, it means even more. The clothes do not make the models. They themselves are the show. Michael, much like the models, wants to distinguish his identity and separate it from the labels that have been imposed on him. The lighting, the clothes, and the items all support that message.

But sometimes the clothing isn't symbolic. Sometimes the clothing tells a blunt message, where it clearly spells out who or what the character loves.

Sometimes its more subtle, like the possibility of the W over Kitae's heart representing his love for Wan.

Sometimes, the clothing tells the plot because Jaeyoung wears his "DIE BITCH" jacket when he first meets Sangwoo since he really wants that bitch to die.

And sometimes, the clothing can just be for funsies.

Posters - The Writing is on the Wall

Printed material can offer textual support for the show's purpose. It is another layer of what we are seeing play out on our screen, but sometimes, it's harder to notice.

If you watched Hayley Kiyoko's "She" video, you might have noticed that her clothing spoke to the audience. She wore a bright shirt that reads "Everyone Loves an Asian Girl" with rainbow socks.

But you might have also noticed the posters on her walls.

Lance Bass who was a member of NSYNC, the second-best boy band behind Backstreet Boys, publicly came out in 2006. It was a big deal. He is the first poster we notice since it's bright red. The poster on the right of him is of twin sisters and openly gay musicians, Tegan and Sara. Sprinkled throughout the posters are ones for Fanta Orange. Coca-Cola had a popular campaign titled "This Coke is a Fanta" which was based on the (homophobic) Brazilian phrase "Essa Coca é Fanta." In 2018, Coca-Cola flipped the phrase and produced limited edition red coke cans filled with orange Fanta and distributed them while embracing the phrase. If we didn't realize Kiyoko was gay from her socks, the posters help to reinforce the song's purpose - Kiyoko must stay true to herself throughout her struggles.

The writing on the wall helps focus the audience's attention on what is important in that moment.

Because it can tell the characters' state of mind like being in hell.

Or what we should expect from the plot of trying new things and doing things differently.

Signs - Follow the Signs

Much like posters, signs clearly spell out what we are supposed to understand from the scene. If the sign is next to the character, we can assume the sign is about the character or their arc.

Like letting us know the character is having a queer awakening.

Books - Judge Them by Their Covers

Books tend to reinforce what we are seeing within the scene and can also offer additional information about the characters that isn't vocally stated. If we see romance novels near a character, it implies the character, regardless of their outwardly appearance, is a romantic at heart.

Or perhaps they are trying to learn more about their robotic crush by reading "AI" or feeling it's "Doomsday" because they caught feelings for a guy.

Activity

Remember that you are watching a visual piece of media; therefore, the visuals ARE being used to persuade you. If there is a lot of items in the background, pause the scene, and examine what is being shown. Are the items simply telling us about the character's personality? Are we being told about the plot? Are we being told more?

Also, keep in mind that the item may be talking to you in a language you can't speak. Most of the included examples were in English, but a few aren't since the media we are consuming is not in English. You might miss some textual clues, but think about why you are being shown these items.

There are many more ways that the background noise provides visual support for the narrative, so to prepare for the next lesson, watch either music video, and think about how the split screens are being used to show barriers, boundaries, and order.

I’m so excited to see your ship request open again and that you’re feeling well enough to be back from hiatus! I’d love to request a MotA ship if you could.

I was born and raised in Illinois in a small farmer/coal miner community so while I’m Midwestern, I sound Southern (and use words that make others cringe like crick instead of creek). I have a bachelors and masters in military history (concentration in world war one and did a dissertation over tunnel warfare) but work in the customer service realm because I love helping others above all.

Others describe me as bubbly, level-headed, positive, caring, deeply loyal, and outspoken when I see something wrong - even if it gets me in trouble (ie: Steve Rogers getting beat up for standing up for others). While I’m quick to stand my ground and fight for others, I don’t do the same for myself. I am told I have the patience of a saint in dealing with Karen’s or ridiculous people, but I grew up in an abusive home life so I try to be patient and give people the benefit of the doubt.. then when they’re gone, roll my eyes at a coworker and lighten the mood with a joke or two. Like any Midwesterner, I love talking and chatting with others whether it’s something lighthearted or serious.

I grew up playing baseball and watching it (go Cardinals and Brewers!). I love the sport itself but it holds a special place in my heart because it was the only time my Dad, sister, and myself could get away from any troubles we were facing as a family. When it’s not baseball season and I’m not with my friends, I’m out doing some photography for fun, taking a walk, reading a book, playing a video game, or watching a TV drama like One Day or Downton Abbey.

Tbh Finn in particular posting that Byler vid yesterday really piqued my interest, even more so than Noah shipping byler on main. Finn really doesn't post shipping related things like this unless something comes out of it in the actual narrative. He isn't really a 'shipper' in general, he doesn't post ship edits just for fun or anything like that. Like Noah has shipped Byler for a while now, especially now with the liking and commenting on byler tiktoks constantly, but this kind of thing is kinda normal for Noah so I barely bat an eyelash anymore even tho it really is a good sign. Finn on the other hand tries to distance himself from shipping and isn't as deep into all the fan stuff so idk this is a very good sign imo!

I don't really follows the actors much. The only things I know about what they post are the things people share here. I do get the sense that Finn engages less with ships directly, but I think I've seen that he's liked fanart in the past. It's certainly not the same as what Noah has been up to, lately, of course.

Personally, for me, it's how smiley Finn was in that fan theory video when he and David responded to the idea of Will liking El. I can't imagine him being that happy about Will liking Mike if it turned out badly. The fact that he's also sharing stuff on top of that, well, that's just icing on the cake.

Anon who was at the LA premiere following up. Let’s see… what else to report. I’ll just do a brain dump.

There was some drama with fans and the queue. The red carpet area was FCFS, limited capacity. Fans lined up/camped out early and had a well-organized line system, maybe 200 fans in total were in the line. Someone from the venue had said they would honor the fan-organized line. But later, some fans who arrived closer to the official open time and weren’t happy with the fan-organized line went straight to the security/door area. It worked. Security let in all 15 of them to the front of the line after much arguing, and they all got barricade on one side (which meant signatures and photos). I get being anti-camping but the way they did that was really shitty. Some of them had even had joined the fan-organized queue, then rubbed off their number, and jumped ahead.

On the red carpet, Louis was very accommodating to fans. He made sure to visit fans on each side of the red carpet twice, so fans got more chances for signatures and photos. The most interesting thing he signed was a cardboard cutout of fetus louis that a fan has had since 2012 and taken around to concerts. Louis also signed someone’s collarbone area, and they got the smiley face he had signed there tattooed afterwards right away. The phone case larrie is definitely delusional or just posting that shit about Louis smirking for attention, he was going so fast and trying to cover as many fans as possible.

The venue didn’t air the fan videos from all around the world to the red carpet area. I’m glad I saw them later though, they were amazing!

Some bleached blonde guy with a cool sparkly silver suit walked the carpet and I still have no idea who he is.

Louis disappeared once the movie started. I don’t think he took a seat in the theater, I think he went somewhere else to watch or maybe even left early.

There definitely seemed to be a lot of directioners and larries/harries. During the screening, a lot of people clapped and cheered when harry appeared on screen. That was annoying. We did all unite in boo’ing Simon together, that was fun. We also all cheered when Oli said Louis’ gig was better than a 1D gig and when Louis said he felt like he deserved it.

I’m still ?? about the whole veeps vs streaming platform thing and why they’re marketing AOTV so much more than FITF. But I put that aside to just enjoy being there. Louis was obnoxiously gorgeous, and it was such a treat to see/hear him in person and watch the film in a beautiful venue with a lively crowd. It was an incredible time overall.

The venue was magical and Louis looked gorgeous, so from an outsider's perspective it was amazing, but I'm glad to learn it was fun on site as well! Louis' attention to fans is so cute - I remember thinking he was super responsive to fans during the Q&A.

I too wonder about the whole event and hope this isn't the end of AOTV's public existence, but I won't complain too much, for it gave us another red carpet louis!

Exactly! That's how I am... Attractive men who are tall and muscular is definitely one thing, but them having tattoos and piercings is a bonus to me. They don't have to have modifications. But I would love just as much if they did have modifications. Because I love alternative styles.

And, if Orange doesn't end up romantically with Cobra, then I'm really stealing this man from her. Have you seen this man? He's attractive.

Naturally as an Asian man, his real hair color is black or brown - and I do think Takanori's attractive either way. But like in Japan, dying their hair blond is something delinquents do all the time (like in TR or H&L) which does seem fitting for Cobra. And even Rocky.. But that's just so different to me. I know Rocky's also considered a delinquent. Though, because WR's signature color being white, him having platinum blond (or silver) hair would make complete sense to me for that reason.

Anyway.

In some original concept pictures, Rocky was supposed to be having dark hair too. Not just Cobra. But I don't know how to feel about that.

I'm happy they decided to go with more biker aesthetics for Mugen in the end, instead of your typical hoodlum styles like Oya and Daruma.

Actually.. I almost didn't recognize Hirōmi. Probably because every of the pictures and videos I see of him, his long hair is usually on a more shorter side (like the undercut). So having him with longer hair would seem a bit surprising. But now I'm imaging Hiroto with longer hair.

I'm just whacking you on the head with a wrapped up newspaper.

That's how I was! Because it was obvious Gun never had any interests in drinking alcohol because of how abusive father treated him and his mother whenever he drank. So Gun technically swore off any alcohol.

He did seem fine. Him drinking was cute because of how smiley he is with everyone else, not that he isn't always like that with everyone he meets. He's always a sweetheart. But it was sweet that Jin was really willing to die for his friend so his friend wouldn't have to drink alcohol if he was too uncomfortable. And now drinking alcohol is Gun's whole decision now, only if he ever did want to continue drinking though.

I wish that I could bounce back from not having a headache the very next day. Well.. Sometimes. Only sometimes from dehydration.

Honestly... Even if Lee never mentioned where Choi, Yang, Ju, Gun or Jin where. Even if Lee never mentioned anything to the villains, then I still would have imagined them being killed regardless what was even said or done. Because that's the type of villains these characters are.

Part of me is curious about the hospital scene. Especially after Jin is out of surgery, he is healthy but healing by then. And... watching this scene (no matter how many times), I wasn't sure if Jin would survive.

And then I thought, if Jin died, how devastated Gun would be, every one he cares about - besides his mother - is either dead or missing in his life. He would probably blame himself over the events of everyone dying.. Because, if it wasn't for him starting a fight with the villains in the first place like this, then none of these people would have died.

He'd probably have survivors guilt too.

My poor baby!

Have you watched the final episode yet?

I know Da-min is a replacement character, which is obviously not too surprising based on what happened. I blame the Ju's actress for this.

But I don't mind Da-min's character too much though. I'm just neutral about her. I don't hate her, but I don't love her. Though that's because she isn't in a lot of scenes to have that much of an opinion on the girl.

About characters with conditions, disabilities, disorders.. Like I would only ever give a character medical conditions, if I am really somewhat knowledgeable about the condition. But I don't always do this though so it's not like with every character I have, only just some characters.

And AleXa's conditions.. I knew about some of her conditions before I read the post (from a couple days ago) discussing her health, about a lot of her conditions being mainly disorders. She'd mentioned anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, insomnia and lactose intolerance being her main conditions. And I did know about a few conditions before then.

Obviously AleXa does take medication for her health.

Oh! Before I forget. I might some more pictures of AleXa with bright blue hair, she's wearing feminine clothes. Since you said that you do want to use light and bright colors with a feminine style to her when it comes to his specific character anyway. I could send the pictures?

Orange and Cobra would be the couple who do take turns bandaging up each other for the most part. Depends on who needs more care at first, depending on the situation, the injures, and everything else too.

Yeah! Now I remember. Don't know why I forgot that. Maybe because every time I remember Noboru's character, I am always remembering that he went to college to become a lawyer. Beat of the guys who just abused his girlfriend. And also got involved with Kuryu for a while.

I need more happier memories for the original Sannoh trio. And I was so happy to see those closeup pictures of them smiling together.

Honestly? Although I listen to a lot of Japanese bands, I've never had any interest in listening to Babymetal. I do know about them. And I've seen American, European and Australian bands support their career.

Nemophila has a similar sound to them.. At least I think they do.

If I did decide to have my W/G character for High&Low, I can imagine a lot of different scenarios for her. If I decided use her for High&Low.

There's only one person I would accept with a mullet. But in general, I don't like mullets. Mullets are like some strong repellent for me not to be attracted to someone. But the actor is attractive with with colored hair, like blond and even purple too. The actor looks different than his characters. I know, I know.. Makeup and wigs would do that. But still.

No to every one of those shows. I hate American shows. I have always hated Seinfeld, Friends, Big Bang Theory, The Office, Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother and just about every one of those shows. Like I did see some episodes of How I Met Your Mother.. I couldn't get into the show. And I even don't care for most of the actors in these shows.

tattoos and piercings are so good! they’re fun lil visual interest. like yea you can be hot as is, but then a nice tattoo? or a piercing or two? total knockout. love it. i know it’s uncommon for japanese guys to have tattoos because of the whole yakuza sitch, but. tattoos are so good.

i’ve noticed a lot of the exile guys - if not all of them - have piercings. reo’s got like three ear piercings and it’s got me acting some kinda way. he’s so attractive To Me.

takanori looks great with whatever hair colour, but cobra specifically has to be blonde. i can’t imagine the character with darker hair. cobra and rocky make the most sense to have dyed hair whether they do it themselves or pay for it, it’s takeshi and pi that throw me tho. where are they getting their hair bleached and dyed in nameless? with what money??

omi does look like almost a completely different person when he has long hair. i can’t decide if i like him better with long hair or the undercut.

gun’s such a sweetie when he’s not in a fight. he’s just a good dude and he just goes and makes friends with nearly everyone. hard to resist the sweet boy charm.

yea i don’t think lee was making it out alive no matter what he did. i think he knew that he was going to die but was trying to save his wife and probably expected that yang would’ve been able to protect himself, because they were choi’s best knifers - unfortunately they were all just hit when their guards were down.

i don’t know how gun would’ve managed if jin had died. he was already breaking down in the hospital while jin was still in surgery, i don’t know what he would’ve done if jin had died and ju was already gone.

he so needed a hug in the hospital, both before he knew jin was out of surgery and after when the doctor talked to him.

watched the final episode! it ended very abruptly, i’m assuming that was because of the rewrite tho. it just felt like there should’ve been something … more? like it just. ends. so quickly.

the fight with gun and myeong gil was great. loved the little scene with gun and jin after the fight where jin’s comforting him. just, jin knowing how to cheer gun up, it’s so sweet, they’re besties 🥺 also gun’s mum worrying over jin’s injuries and bringing him into the hug, those are her sons!!

gun and jin looked So Good the entire episode. i think it was the gloves. also like, them hanging around da min’s place in those lil red shorts ……. i am just looking at thighs.

i thought da min was fine. i think she was sweet and i liked the scene of jin and gun covering her eyes and ears. also archery is cool so points to her for that. i do think she needed more time and development, but i didn’t hate her or anything. also im just. staring. at her hand when she fist-bumped the boys. her hand is so small. or their hands are so big. she’s like 5’6 so she’s not like. short. i’m just 👀👀👀

i’ll always take more pictures! i’m just gathering ones up on my pinterest that have the vibe i’m imagining for eun bi.

something something ‘patching up your romantic interest as an act of love (even before you get together)’. it’s a good trope! it’s intimate!

i only really watch those shows because they’re like. nostalgic. sometimes you just need a show to watch without needing to really use your brain and old nostalgic crap hits that spot. but then sometimes you watch it and go ‘oh. that joke is. not good’.

"time for a new girlfriend I guess.." threatens to leave you unless you kiss him. he'll be stealing quick kisses for the rest of the day.

he was leaving to bring coffee for the members because he's nice like that. he's pulling on his shoes when you shout from the kitchen asking for a kiss. he's so blushy and smiley when he comes to peck you that you almost feel bad but seeing his reaction when you wipe his kiss off is worth it. stops malfunctioning. okay maybe he's not gonna surprise you with ice-cream. the audacity??? he is not amused. he's not gonna be leaving the house without a normal kiss. you lose count as he keeps planting kisses to your lips without breaks as to not give you time to wipe it. by the time he's done you're a giggling mess and he seems proud to be the cause of it. safe to say you lost.

In order for you to know if too people are in a secret relationship you have to look for the little things. interviews, shared looks,touching.

I watch most of panels for the last month and am 100 % sure something is happening between cockles. you know the way Jensen reacts anytime somebody mentions misha, the way he talks about him,j2m panel 2018 with the strip questions the shared looks. it's all there you just have to look and analyze their behavior.

you can't say too people can't be together because you don't see them hangout like... that's the point isn't it SECRET relationship meaning they don't wanna broadcast it or be spotted.

Ohh thanks for considering my blog one of your favorites. But I have no merit, I'm like you, I'm just learning cockles lore and reblogging from wiser blogs.

I agree, cockles is like, hundreds of tiny pieces and details, when put all together you see the complete puzzle and it's just that whatever they have is real, it's deep and very emotional and they have very strong feelings for each other... some people see it as a deep friendship, others (including me) as a romantic relationship.

And we never asked for that. In all honesty, the first cockles post I ever saw I thought it was total bullshit. That people were projecting destiel in the real actors, "shipping real people is wrong!", and so on. But then I saw more and more hints and I became increasingly aware that they had something more than a friendship.

And yet, I'll say I was like 95% convinced cockles was real, but still 5% skeptical. But I wasn't skeptical because the full evidence wasn't enough compelling (actually it's the opposite!) but because as human beings we are biased, our point of views are flawed, and we really don't know what's going on between Jensen and Misha. So, who knows, I would be wrong after all.

Well, NOT ANYMORE! Finally I said goodbye to that 5% of skepticism, and gave up and surrended to the truth of cockles. And it was one of those tiny things you have said what changed my mind. It's actually a cockles moment which has been mostly overlooked, and which really deserves far more attention.

I'm talking about the panel where Misha tells his dream about Maison. You can see the original post here.

What caught my attention wasn't the fact that Jensen knew about the dream (and Misha's reaction when he woke up), because obviously, Misha could have told Jensen about it later on. It's Jensen's mood change what shocked me. He's so relaxed and smiley saying "He did! … he shared me with that…he did…he shared that with me…" and then, suddenly, he shuts up, and just said "I’m just going to hang out" like if he was trying to shut up his mouth, embarrased, and sits down. And now he looks at the public, and he looks terrified. Seriously, look at his face, he looks so troubled:

What happens, Jensen? Why were you so smiley and happy and then suddenly it's like the sky is going to fall over your head? Why do you look at the public with such troubled face? Are you worried people would notice something? Realize something you don't want be known?

His face is literally the definition of gay panic.

And the fact that Misha laughs nervously, turns around, walks away while lowering his head, and try to change the conversation...

I have watched this video many times and I've tried to find alternative explanations, but the only one I can think of, the simplest one, the only one possibility, is that Jensen's subconscious tricked him and he was on the brink of outing himself, because he was implying (or at least that was what he thought) that he was on bed with Misha when he woke up and was told about the dream. Because they slept together that night (and I highly doubt that was the only night they slept together).

You can argue that Jensen was told later on, or that Jensen and Misha slept in the same room but in different beds, just like room mates. But my point is: that doesn't explain Jensen's stark mood change. It was the fear of outing himself what paralyzed him.

There. Is. Not. Heterosexual. Explanation.

And it would have been far worse. Personally, I think Jensen was in the brink of saying that he was on bed with Misha, but in 0.0001 seconds all his neurons fired realizing that HUGE MISTAKE and his brain just shut down.

And this, this was the moment I finally gave up, the moment I surrended to the last drop of evidence and admitted that cockles was (and probably still is) not 100%, but 200%, 300% real, as real as the air we breath, as real as the Big Bang, the continental drift or the evolution of life.
