can't believe tom hiddleston ACTUALLY interrupted the interviewer to say "one last thing, i think mobius is loki's friend and i don't think loki has ever had a friend before" like king. i love how u felt the need to add that truly

before season 2 aired i thought we would never get our original Mobius back. I thought they were going to shove Sylki down our throats. i thought i was going to have to slough through a poorly written, unbearable season of tv just to get little crumbs of Loki and Mobius interacting.

but this. this far surpassed anything i could have hoped for. even if this story hadn’t been Loki’s i would have devoured it. it was clever and well thought out. it was well written with amazing sets and lighting and music. it played up strengths from season 1 that i thought for sure they had long abandoned. like the incredible and compelling setting that is the TVA. and making the cast an ensemble with the already stellar cast they had (and adding the instantly lovable O.B.). Tom was excellent. Owen was phenomenal. and every scene we got with them together was a gift.

the story was crafted with care and forethought and amazing attention to detail. you can’t say that about most big budget studio stories these days. i’m so in awe of everything this season was. it far surpassed season 1 for me and honored the legacy of Loki in a way i never could have dreamed. i honestly think it will go down as one of the most epic seasons of tv ever, for me.

it may have ended bittersweet, but it really didn’t feel like the end of Loki and Mobius’s story to me. it definitely feels like there’s more to tell. and i can’t wait.

There has to have been at least one person on the creative team for Loki that was like “hey if we do all this, it will look queer. Like very gay.” And they definitely shot that person down with the “not everything has to be gay” and the “we’re just trying to show a strong healthy male friendship! :)”

oh. mobius loving loki as death loves everything. he's been here since the beginning of time and his work is all he's ever known and he spends eons watching variants get pruned and he feels like the only one who cares. then he meets a definitely-not-analyst who knows him and is desperate for him to say that he knows them too and even after they erase his memories over and over he remembers it deep down and he dedicates himself to loki variants and feels sad, is sadness when they get pruned. no there's no justice or comfort, there's just the tva but he cares the most about ppl dying, he cares so much about loki's fate and he sticks his neck out several times just so they can live and it's making me think of death taking no pleasure in his job. of death knowing there's no such thing as justice and hating the world for it anyway. you must learn compassion to be death. mobius loves like death.

😭😭😭 I’m on mobile and super lazy(busy with homework) so I can’t give source links but

apparently the original Loki S2E5 was scrapped suddenly so Eric Martin had to write the new episode in a weekend. (Apparently, I might have that detail wrong, maybe he had a weekend for revisions)

But this episode was IT. The prodigal son of MCU streaming shows. Martin had executives inviting him to lunch because of this episode. It was different. When people heard it got scrapped, people would pass him and give their “so sad to hear, maybe next time” to Martin.

Many people on Twitter have interacted with Martin, and he always says “can’t say” about that episode. Maybe he might use it later on?? Who knows.

Also, there was one twitter user who swears that they saw Tom and Owen filming (so Loki and Mobius) an on screen kiss on the cheek. No photographic proof but they did have a picture of the set I believe.

All speculation though, anyone correct me if I’m wrong or if I’m missing anything !
