And he MELTS AND MAKES IT HIS MISSION TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER. he’d make sure you’re properly taken care of- sooooo many cuddles, the SWEETEST of sweet nothings whispered in your ear to make you ease up and feel so loved. That’s all he wants for you- he wants you to feel every single ounce of his love. He’s so set on taking care of you the best he can. The minute your fine ass comes strutting into your house, eyes a little watery and bottom lip trembling, he instantly jumps up and wraps you up in his big arms, cradling your head and shushing you softly. He’s not gonna make you talk while you’re sobbing into his chest, though his mind is soaring a million thoughts a second to try and figure it out.

“Bad day?” He murmurs into your hair once you calm down, and you offer him a sniffle and cling to him tighter.

“They’re so… mean, ‘tsumu,” you whimper and he’s about ready to maim someone and their first born.

“Who is?”

“The little voice in my head…” you choke on your tears while Atsumu tenses up. “And telling me you’re too good for me and I’m too ugly for you and fat and-“

“Stop.”

His sharp word make you tense up, and you look up at him with watery eyes.

He wipes one of your tears with his calloused thumb, “I’m not ‘too good’ for you. That doesn’t exist. You deserve even better than anything I could give ya; and even if you don’t feel like the sexiest piece of ass on this damned planet, it’s not for you to decide if I’m ‘too good’ one day. You’re mine baby, and the universe made us for each other. So shut your fine ass up.”

It makes you giggle, but you know that there’s complete truth in his words, and with a shaky sigh you nod and let him kiss you once, twice, and a third time with only love on his lips.

But he doesn’t stop there. Nay nay.

If anything, things escalate in the best ways.

Because he already can barely keep his paws off of you, but if you’re feeling especially insecure, even for brief stints, he refuses to let your mind continue to tread.

If he’s at the stove, you’re tucked under his arm while he cooks with his dominant hand, letting his left hand soothingly stroke your arm. He makes little noises and grunts when he wants you to try a taste of whatever he’s making, and he smiles when you hum in contentment.

If you’re folding laundry, he’s gently grabbing your hand and spinning you into his arms, dancing a quick back and forth with you; it ends when he bends you into a dip, but that’s mostly because the squeal and the subtle smacking of his chest lets him know that you’ve had your fun, but you need to focus or whatever.

When you’re washing your face, his arms are looped low around you with his chin hooked over your shoulder, smacking on a silly voice to “explain” what products you’re using and how much of it to use, like a beauty guru.

When you’re finally settled in bed and he’s finishing up in the bathroom, you smile sweetly at him from over your book when he slinks back in, basketball shorts low on his hips and muscle tee clinging to his frame. Wordlessly, he leans on the edge of the bed, soft lips tracing kisses from your cheek, to suckle at your jawline and neck, and once he makes his way to your collarbones, he takes your book out of your hands while you recline back.

“Bookmark it.”

“I know what to do.”

His lips move to the valley of your breasts to leave marks just along your skin, his massive paws cradling the soft part of your belly. Your breath hitches, and he hums a soft reassurance.

“My baby,” he mumbles. “Wish I could’ve been there with you today. Kept those nasty thoughts away.”

You mewl as he buries his face against you, the unruly parts of his hair tickling you softly, “you’re here now.”

“And I’m never goin’ anywhere.” He wraps his arms around your torso to nuzzle into you, seemingly settling into a comfortable position to sleep for the night.

You giggle, “comfy?”

“Extremely,” he murmurs. “Told Meian I was spewing chunks and couldn’t come in tomorrow, so you’ve got me all to yourself.”

“Atsumu!”

“What, you think ‘Omi’s gonna let me on the court if he thinks I’m puking? He hates puke.”

“Stop saying puke,” you whine, swatting at him with some giggles. “You’re killing the mood.”

“Ah?” He hums, raising his head with a cheshire smile, “there’s a mood?” He raises back on his haunches to wrap his meaty hands around your thighs, and with a quick pull, he’s got you on your back just below him, squeals and giggles pealing from your lips.

“‘Tsum, I’m tired,” you whine, though your legs instinctively curl around him.

“Not gonna do anything,” he assures, the hands moving from your legs to brace on either side of your head. “Just like lookin’ at you… always love lookin’ at you.”

“Creep.”

He cocks a brow, “you think that’s creepy?”

“I do.”

“Well wait ‘til you hear what smellin’ ya does to me.” Before you can say anything, he ducks his head down to the soft pillowiness of your neck, taking ridiculously loud inhales through his nose. You shove at him with uncontrollable laughter, knees bumping into his back.

“You freak, get away!”

“Wait ‘til you hear what feelin’ ya does to me,” he mumbles from your neck, and in a similar fashion, his left hand comes down to claw at your sides dramatically, his sniffling now mingling with the tickling.

“S-Stop it!”

“But nothin’ quite like tastin’ ya, dollface.”

Your mind can barely process his words before he leans up to kiss the giggles straight from your mouth, his massive frame keeping you still and as if protecting you from anything you may fear.

He’s warm, he smells divine and he feels just like home, and for a moment you forget that even if you hadn’t come home and said you weren’t feeling great, there’s still a chance the night could’ve ended the same.

“Penny for your thoughts?” He whispers, nuzzling your nose with his.

You bite your lip, “I want cinnamon rolls for breakfast.”

He chuckles, “you got it boss.”

And just as atsumu always does, he holds true to that; the next morning, you wake up to the smell of vanilla and honey dancing through your home, and while part of you is bumming out for not being in your boyfriend’s arms, he’s up for you.

He does his daily affirmations with you- once again obliterating you with tickles when you snort at some of them- makes sure you eat anything you desire because he could die from the idea you’re not eating enough because of the things you try to convince yourself, and just. Being there. Holding your hand, complimenting you no matter where you are, playing hooky on his day off just to make sure you’ve got your fill and you’re right back where your sexy ass left off.

“‘Tsumu?”

“Yeah baby?”

“Thank you.”

He kisses your hairline without a second thought, wrapping an arm around you and letting you curl against him.

“Never gotta thank me for something I was born to do, babydoll.”

Can we talk about how Castlevania has a healthy representation of masculinity?

Usually masculinity is defined in opposition to feminity. That is, putting down women or “girly” things, aversion to emotions, etc. But the male leads treat Sypha like an equal, and nothing is super sexualized. Even if there are hints of her and Trevor, it is a mutual thing, and not the guy taking the lead over the woman. There was also none of the “we must protect Sypha cuz she a woman”. Instead, all three of them fight together, and try to protect one another if possible.

The main guys aren’t unnecessarily violent or cruel. They are fighting for a goal; it’s not just violence for the sake of violence. And we have Alucard breaking down and crying, which is big no-no for a male lead (strong men don’t cry).

Collaboration is also a thing. In many series, it boils down to the main guy taking care of most of the battle, and you wonder why the other two characters are even around. In Castlevania, anyone of the trio contributed an equal part to defeating Dracula. In the sense that each character’s skill was used to defeat the final boss, and no one was overshadowed. Also, screen time is shared equally.

The guys acts homoerotically friendly to one another. Which is great, because it portrays men as actual decent humans, with feelings and all. And both male leads have depression to some extent. Mental “weakness” for my male leads? What? And the solution is to open up about it. And accept help and empathy from other people.

Even the main “antagonist”, Dracula, is severely emotional: he wants to destroy humanity for love. But his feelings are not portrayed as bad, in the sense that his love for his wife was not wrong. It’s cruel and undeserved punishment he wants to inflict upon humanity that is wrong.

Other cool male representation this season had: Hector is autistic. Trevor is thicc/bara. Alucard is feminine. Isaac is guided by passion and love, and possibly gay.

Update 1: Some people were confused, and thought I was saying masculinity is bad. I was referring to how the type of masculinity we see in shows is toxic masculinity. It was mostly about the behavior of characters, not their looks. So nothing wrong with a character being manly or muscular, that is, physically masculine. Also, when it comes to behavior, nothing wrong with “masculine” traits. Although I would argue it is wrong to consider some traits as masculine, and other traits as feminine. But that’s another issue. Masculinity is bad when it becomes toxic, which is what me mostly see in shows. Castlevania managed to introduce good male characters. That’s all.

Update 2: When I said each character in the trio contributed equally to defeating Dracula, I didn’t mean that the expectation was for a mortal to do as much as a vampire. What I was trying to say was that the entire journey leading to Dracula had all of them contributing based on their abilities. So Sypha moves the castle. Trevor fights while she is busy with the spell for moving the castle and Alucard is trying to fix the mirror. And when they finally reach Dracula, Alucard being a vampire takes the bulk of physical fight. Basically not one guy running the entire marathon, but different tasks for different characters. I wouldn’t expect it to be exactly the same screen time. But you can tell the creators tried to give each character a good share of the spotlight. Always within the limitations of what a character can do. If all of them contributed equally to defeating Dracula all the time, it would feel forced.

Update 3: The homoerotic part was meant to be a joke on how male characters are supposed to act detached to one another, or else they are gay for each other. The range of emotions male characters can show is so limited, that we start thinking something homoerotic must be going on, instead of considering they are acting like wholesome human beings.

I need help Do you have any tips on drawing female bodies?

1) Take half of what you've learned from anime and throw it out the window.

2) Take every male expectation of women and YEET that shit. Ask girls what makes them feel good, observe people around you, and start pulling from women in real life. I cannot tell you how excited my first animation teacher was that I drew women with muscle mass. Like, the dude outright thanked me in front of the entire class and then went on a tangent about how women have muscles too. Women have so many body types, research the look you want.

3) DO NOT SACRIFICE FEMININE FEATURES! I get it; some of you will be creating trans or agender characters, but keep in mind anatomy and how it works. And by that I mean the way their bone structure and such works. It's more realistic and easier to identify with when people can see their identity there than completely wiping out their journey. Looking more feminine but not identifying as a female does not change the fact that they identify differently. It's just how their body is and you dont need to wipe that evidence to make your point. I know trans ppl who still have feminine feature who identify as male or agender. Its normal??? That's real life, pull from real life.

4) Avoid giving stereotypical features where you can. THAT INCLUDES SLIM THICC AND BIG BOOBS. Not all latina and black women are thick. We dont all have thick lips and big noses or kinky hair. Fuck that. Yes there are common features between races but not always. My mom has a short upturned nose, I have a long bridge and bubble nose, and my Puerto rican cousin has a wide short nose. Pull from real life, but stay true to your character too. Have MULTIPLE refs, at least 7 or so to give you more variety. This includes for body types, lips, noses, eye shapes, etc. Cause I cant count how many times in hs I've seen ppl get mad when different Latinos or Asians got mad for being said another Latino or Asian was the same or that Africans and Blacks look the same or all white people look alike. Theres so much variety in the world, use it. God created it all for a reason. Feed that artistic brain yo.

5) Look to what in real life age groups wear. We dont wear uniforms, overly fashionable color scheme oriented outfits, or model wear. Think about what shapes look good on certain shapes. Think about where they're from, why they're dressed a certain way; again, avoid stereotypes. Not all black girls need to be dresses to be super ethnically-coded. I wear leather skirts, pajama pants, and yoga pants just like every other girl. We all like to be cute but we also like to be comfortable too! Sometimes we dont wanna dress up and sometimes we wanna give aphrodite a run for her money. We dont all wear makeup of have piercings. Anyone can inherit moles, freckles, etc. not just certain races.

6) Figure out personalities first if you can. A lot of times this can determine how a girl does their hair, makeup or no makeup, clothing style, etc. Their personality is very important and can also effect posture and gestures too.

7) PRACTICE. PRACTICE ANATOMY. PRACTICE WITH VARIOUS BODY TYPES. TAKE FIGURE DRAWING CLASSES IF POSSIBLE IT HELPED ME SO MUCH.

8) One thing I constantly see is ppl thinking theres one way certain types of women look or can act. Like, short hair and "boyish" tendencies means ur gay. Feminine traits mean you're weak and soft. Girls who dont have interest in love are bitchy or gay. That's bullshit. Maybe shes content not having a partner, maybe she doesnt need one. Shes no bitch she just dont want you. Characters dont have to date, esp female characters to be an important woman. WE EXIST. There are very feminine, super girly, cuddly cute gay women. THEY EXIST. There are short haired straight women. Draw them. THEY EXIST. Break barriers, your character is yours and if you want a buff, tall, bisexual long haired goddess who believes all clothing must be made of lace do you boo. If you want a character who is lanky as hell, bald, and killer spicy mama go for it. Draw her too, shoot. Draw all the girls.

9) Everyone has different versions of sexy. Boobs and ass hanging out isnt everyone's sexy. Sexy doesnt mean sloppy, sexy doesnt mean turning the character into a prop. Respect your characters plz! You dont know who will see it and who u can influence.

10) DONT LET PPL TELL YOU REAL LIFE WOMEN DONT LOOK LIKE WOMEN THATS DUMB

And those are kireis main rules for drawing women. The most helpful thing is pulling from real everyday life, I promise you. That, and knowing women know our bodies best so we're gonna give you experienced answers. Hope this helps even tho I'm high key ranting lol

The following week, Hadley pulls aside Lav and asks all about her and Mason. Plot twist is that he KNOWS. And is testing to see whether or not she reproduces what he’s already seen. To test wether or not she’s lying. And if she IS, Mason told her to lie and he’s bricked.

He’s terribly cunning like that.

The following week, Hadley pulls aside Lav and asks all about her and Mason.

Lav- Aw, I'm glad you asked! He's so cute, that Button. Anyway, we've been eating lunch together and we shared a cookie, um, we held hands a lot, what else, um, please don't be um, mad, but, um, we kinda..... fell asleep together while you were at work.

He could easily pull an Eclipsa and cast some sort of All-Seeing-Eye.
