One of my favorite things about my first relisten to taz balance is in the first episode with Lucricia is that she’s always stopping taako from putting himself down and telling them all to not underestimate themselves. She’s knows their potential when they don’t even know it themselves. Also on a sad note, what if it was always lup that reminded taako of his own intelligence and capability and without her he becames what he really thinks of himself until he finds this human fighter and cleric dwarf that feel so familiar and he is again forced to live up to his potential

Headcanons for the future of Psychonauts
After the events of Psychonauts 2 Raz starts to delve in Hydrokinesis, hoping to harness it in a way that made a better Psychonaut without becoming like how Lucricia Mux (AKA Maligula).
When he marries Lili, he becomes known as Razputin Aquato-Zanotto.
The Hand of Galochio becomes a sort of extension to Raz's abilities (He renames it the Hand of Aquato).
He's still capable at using Pyrokinesis, Telekinesis, Psi-Blast, Clairvoyance, etc., but he's just an expert at Hydrokinesis.
Puts on amazing performances with his Hydrokinetic abilities.
Becomes a Counselor at Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp, along with Lili, and Dogen.
In honor of Ford Cruller, who has passed away, Raz forms a brand new Psychic Six to help the word in need.
The brand new Psychic Six consists of Razputin himself (specializes in Hydrokinesis), his wife Lili Aquato-Zanotto (specializes in Pyrokinesis), Dogen Boole (specializes in Zoolinguism), Rodney Nein (eldest son of Sasha Nein and Milla Vodello, specializes in Levitation), Mika Orsenberg (an OC of mine, specializes in Electrokinesis), and Audrey Galochio (An OC that's from the Galochio Family, specializes in Geokinesis).

A few years ago me and some friends set up a psychonauts table top game! This was waaay before PN2 so a lot of the story was wrong! But here’s a map of the summer camp, a Pamphlet for it and the camp consolers designed by me~ (the colored in ones) and my lovely sister @cicerorator . This was so fun to work on and I’m exploring the world again now that we have some answers in PN2.

Bad Trouble Trio: Nona had some of her memories as Maligula and helps her strongest grandkids embrace their power
oooh thats very interesting.
honestly, in a sorta "evil Aquato au" situation, i think Lucricia manages to keep her memories somehow. maybe even stay as Maligula. she's bundled up constantly so it's hard to see her face, and she still raises Augustus and such. he meets Donatella, things like that dont change, but once they start having the kids that's when the plot sorta shifts.
instead of the family forcing them to stay away from Psychics, the kids are taught to embrace their powers for all they are. Dion clings to Electrokinesis so easily, Frazie can set things on fire with Pyrokinesis from miles away, but Raz got to keep the instinctual gravitation towards water with the Aquato family's Hydrokinesis. Mirtala's good with Levitation mostly, while Queepie's got some more sneaky skills like Invisibility on his lil baby side.
the Trouble Trio get more attention from Nona, but none more important then Raz, who's taught not to fear the water, but embrace it as part of himself. the water isn't a curse, it's a blessing.
since Augustus would either keep his memories as well or maybe even be gaslit gatekept girlbossed by Lucricia/Maligula into believing his parents were bad people which is why she yknow axed em, he'd be able to use Hydrokinesis as well. this means the Aquato family wouldn't have to give up their water acts and continue to be a rather popular show, albeit a bit small in size.
hell, they'd probably add their kids powers to the acts. Frazie is amazing with juggling flaming knives and jumping through firey hoops, while Dion can move electricity with such practiced ease it's almost like magic.
they wouldnt fear the family name, they'd embrace it for all its worth. and i think that'd be the scariest part.

In the Margins Ch 3

Summary: Barry picks out a book for Lup. Lup gets bold.
Barry fell asleep with The TA’s Most Important Assignment laid open on his chest. He had just finished reading it before he knocked out for the night. The sunlight streamed through his port window, waking him up. Sitting up, dazed and confused and still in his clothes from the day before, he noticed a small note on the floor of his room in front of the door.
Grinning, he got up and retrieved it. It was, of course, from Lup. She had been writing him notes for years, leaving them in the lab, in his jeans pocket, under the door. They started out pretty insignificant, “Coffee is fresh in the pot,” “Practicing spells with Taako at 3”. They quickly got more fun: “Heard you snoring last night, couldn’t trance. Hope you had nightmares. Xx Lup” “Thank you for showing me how to solder last night. Tried to practice, might have burned some papers. Xx Lup”. He kept all of them.
This newest one said: “Sounded like you had fun last night. Glad to hear that my debut novel was a hit. Hope I’ll enjoy your pick as much as you love mine. I’ll get it from you at breakfast. Xx Lup”
Barry looked up, confused. What did she mean by his pick? Was he supposed to give her something to read? Did he unknowingly enter into a backwards book club? Looking around his room, he found mostly textbooks and field journals, things that were in no way similar to what she had given him. He groaned, most of his books had lame nerd notes in them, they couldn’t compare to the stellar commentary she had in hers.
He was thumbing through the endless catalogued encyclopedias when he came across a history book from one of their first planes: Cultural Celebrations of the North and their History. He didn’t usually keep books like these in his bedroom, all of the history books he kept from former planes were boxed up in his lab, but this one was different.
This was from the cycle where he danced with Lup.
He remembered the year fondly, the town they were staying near had seemingly endless celebrations and holidays. This was in the beginning, before he was fully comfortable with everyone and was okay letting loose. It had only been a crush then, a seed that was planted when she stole his wallet with Taako and slung her arm so casually around him when they met. This was what made it sprout into something more.
Night of Dance was the first festival they were in town for. It is precisely how it sounds: when the night falls and the stars come out, they dance in celebration. The book goes into detail about how it honors the Goddess of vitality, but that wasn’t something that they fully understood that day. All they understood was dance.
Flipping through the book, Barry remembers how it felt to hold her in his arms under the stars as she smiled up at him and in the moment he thought he would die right there. He smiles to himself, a toothless grin with not much joy in it. No matter how long he spent pining after her, he would never get to spin her around like that every night. Metaphorically speaking. Maybe if he lent her this book she would remember dancing with him.
Barry grabs a pencil and starts jotting down some notes in the text.

That night at dinner, everyone was unusually rowdy. It had been a quiet cycle for the most part. No one had died yet, and that was always worth celebrating. Lucricia and Magnus were passionately debating wrestling techniques (she had developed an interest during a cycle where Magnus had become a celebrity wrestler). Taako and Lup were dancing around each other, setting up the table for the meal, trying to trip one another constantly. Davenport and Merle were finishing up a card game in the corner, Merle yelling because he was sure Davenport was cheating.
For 40 years they had been family. Barry stood in the doorway, a smile on his lips. At first he felt like a constant outsider, the butt of all of the jokes.
Taako looked up at him, “Ah, I thought I smelled a fashion disaster.”
Lup shoved him, sending some mashed potatoes to the floor. “Lay off, Koko.” She looked up at Barry, their eyes locking. “I happen to love the denim look.”
Yep, they were a family. Barry blushed and walked into the room.
“Oooo is that for me?” Lup asked, spotting the book he was carrying.
“Uhh, yeah. It’s...different than the one you lent me, but I think you’ll still find it enjoyable.”
“Different how?”
“Well, in this one everyone keeps their clothes on.”
Lup fake pouted, “Aw, no fun.” Suddenly changing her demeanor, she grinned and bounded over to him, snatching the book from his hand before he knew what was going on. “Cultural Celebrations of the North and their History. Ooh, sounds -”
“Boring?” Taako cut in.
“-very interesting.” She said, glaring at Taako. “Thank you very much, Barold. I’m excited to read it.” Lup was in a very good mood and feeling brave, so she leaned in and pecked him on the cheek.
Stunned, Barry watched as Lup turned around and ran back into the kitchen. “Thanks, nerd!” She yelled as she disappeared through the door.
Barry did not move for several moments.
“Barold? Are you going to join us for dinner?” Taako asked with a deep knowing in his voice.
Face flushing a deep red, Barry turned and sat down, joining the rest of the group.

“Cultural Celebrations of the North and their History,” murmured Lup to herself. She flipped through it quickly, trying to remember which cycle this was from. Scanning the chapters, she realized it was from the plane of celebrations. It was a very long time ago, before she had realized she was in love with Barry. A crush, sure. A potential drunken regret? Absolutely.
But Lup never fell in love.
Until she did.

Final Fantasy prompts no 52
1. Cloud getting swarmed by orphans who proceed to put make up on him, Tifa, and Yuffie.
When they are "revealed" to eachother, Cloud asks, "Am I pretty?" With a blank face and monotone voice.
2. Clouds reaction to different people saying, "I have a crush on you"
That exact phrase. No other wording or phrases.
3. #2 but its everyone in AVALANCHE saying this to Cloud one at a time, once a day.
Example: Yuffie on Tuesday, Tifa on Wednesday, Barret on Thursday, etc.
This is because they were trying a misguided attempt at making Vincent comfortable enough to actually confess.
When Vincent does confess, however, Cloud doesn't believe him. Oops.
4. Palmer was being a prick again. Ever since the "Incident" in the conference room when they discovered Sephiroths...relationship...with laser pointers, Palmer had been sneaking them in and teasing the poor man with them.
Scarlett had been the most recent victim, having the small red dot travel across her breasts without her knowledge. When she noticed the general staring at her cleavage, a whole host of questions flittered threw her mind, the most prominent being, "Am I about to get laid?"
By the time she noticed the dot it was too late. Catboy pounced.
Her last thought before she was squished by hard muscle and leather was "Oh, no."
Later, there was a mysterious surge in people writing fanfiction about Sephiroth pouncing on people...
5. Cloud chunking a ceramic vase full of catnip grass at Sephiroths head and yelling, "Happy birthday, asshole!"
6. Yuffie often observed how cat-like Cloud was, and just never questioned it.
Years later when Tifa says something about it, Yuffie was like, "You guys never noticed? He's always been like that."
Additionally, Vincent trailing his fingers through Clouds hair as the blond rests his head in the gunman lap. All was well and good until Cloud began purring in his sleep.
He wasn't sure what to do with this information.
7. Time traveler Cloud lands in the Shinra building and immediately gets spotted. He fights his way down with First Tsurugi until he's confronted by a familiar mop of spikey blond hair.
He has a blond moment of, "Oh, that's me. Oh- I'm shooting at myself. Lovely." He then proceeded to kidnap his younger self, much to Zacks dismay.
Now Cloud has Zack, Sephiroth, and two people he doesn't know hunting him like a wild animal.
It doesn't help that his past self is uncooperative
8. Zack as the hero instead of Cloud.
They made it to Midgar, but Cloud remained in a coma at 7th heaven. There was even a big rescue scene where he woke up and saved Marlene when the plate fell. Everyone thinks they're dead, but they find refuge with Elmira after AVALANCHE leaves Midgar.
Zack being referred to as "puppy" by Sephiroth in the same way Cloud is referred to as "puppet"
Also, Zack with green cat eyes
9. A group of scientists working under a mysterious organization managed to obtain samples of Clouds DNA, thus managing to revive the SOLDIER program.
But they made a mistake.
Cloud was made using large amounts of S and J-cells. Cells that mutated and changed him. He feels the new SOLDIERs as they change, as they are reborn. He feels them as they come alive with his cells, senses them like blinking lights on a sonar. The pull of REUNION has never been this strong before, but strangely, the blond didn't feel drawn anywhere.
When he first saw them he knew. He knew immediately what had happened and what the scientists had done, but it didn't matter. All that mattered was that he had babies and they needed him.
Needed their Mother
And so Gaia cries for another twisted hero
10. Someone from the Silver Elite writes romantic fanfiction of Sephiroth and Genesis and it starts a shipping war with people writing fanfiction about their favorite pairings.
A particularly...mature... piece of romantic high fantasy fanfiction involving himself and some blond named Cloud actually makes it to Sephiroth and he reads it.
He admittedly becomes curious of, "The pretty little fae" that has a solid hold on a significant amount of people in the Silver Elite.
Too bad the blond is avoiding him, like the plague and blushing as red as a beet the moment he sees him. He must have read something the fangirls made.
(Its funnier if you add time traveler AC Cloud but cuter if its CC Cloud. Idk which one I like better)
11. Angeal tries to teach CC Zack and Cloud how to build a bookshelf.
Cloud does pretty good, but Zack...actually, Angeal isn't sure what that is.
Zack called it art, so they were gonna go with that.
That's how they spent the rest of the evening, making wierd art that makes people stare in wonder and confusion.
12. Time travel shenanigans where Genesis's Jenova powers interfere with Clouds and now all the SOLDIERS that were in the Shinra tower with them when it happened have been turned into catboys.
It doesn't really change anything. It's still business as usual, just with a few extra appendages.
Angeal, who wasn't there at the time, has to muffle his laughter everytime he sees his friends.
It doesn't help that the company is pushing for Sephiroth to do a commercial showing off his new assets.
AC Cloud escaped and is on the run, but it's so much harder to blend in when you have cat ears on your head 24/7. Maybe he could wear a hat, but he wasn't sure what to do about the tail.
13. You remember that part in advent children where those monsters came out of the shadows that the remnants sent after Cloud?
Yeah, Cloud can do that. Not the, "summon eldrich monsters" thing, though he can probably do that too. I mean the "sinking into your own shadow to travel at high speeds/ through cracks in walls".
He finds this out by getting out of bed and falling into his shadow and slinking around like that until someone notices him.
He can't speak, so Barret and the others think the little shodow thing ate their blond friend or something.
Cloud is so frustrated and confused from being stuck in his shadow. Poor guy.
14. Gang leader Cloud x Mafia boss Sephiroth
15. Au where most things are the same, but Cloud and Sephiroth are both demons.
Sephiroth was raised in Shinra and frequently studies his dead race, believing he is the last of his kind and these books were all that were left of his people.
Then he found Cloud, who hated him on sight. As it turns out, Sephiroth is from the Cresent family. A clan of notoriously powerful and cruel demons with silver hair. What's worse is that the man was from the Strife clan, his family's enemy.
They had been at war for eons, with the Cresent family often becoming infatuated or obsessed with a Strife. They even had a phrase, which translated to, "Little song bird, you would look so pretty in a cage"
Needless to say the blond wanted nothing to do with him. So naturally, Sephiroth kidnapped him.
Demon Vincent is kind of there in the background, hiding himself like a smart person and watching over his blond friend and his deceased lover Lucricia's nephew. He allows most things, but ninjas his way in when he feels things are going too far.

Slightly moving his hand to the left, one of the tentacles began to snake their way up Kravitz’s leg. The reaper jumped, looking down to see what had touched him.
“Are we interrupting you?” Lucricia asked, and all eyes were on Kravitz. Taako joined them, a shit-eating grin on his face. The reaper stared at him in complete shock, with an expression that said “What the fuck are you thinking?”
“No, no, I’m sorry. I’m fine, please continue.”
