I also absolutely love how Rozemyne's weirdo ways have infected her retainers. While certain attendants are treated with more respect due to their knowledge and skills, the idea of this treatment being based on status has no grounds. Not counting scholars, her attendants and knights are headed by a mednoble and laynoble. But more than that, I just adore how they get along despite it all. Sure, Hartmut may bully everyone, but they all respect each other and rely on each other. Every single one of them is important. That's not even mentioning the ways she's affected their thinking, actions, and ideas of respect to the point some have no issue arguing in front of royalty for the comfort of their lady.

first the team

Gotham Knights (probably)

I want them to have like Pittsburgh Penguins financial problems like they nearly get moved because of it but Bruce turns his owed salary into equity post career and helps keep the team in the city

Philadelphia Flyers style team history though like they won their first cups through physical play not being highly skilled

currently have a monochrome uniform now but everyone likes their more colorful uniforms from the 90s

Bruce Wayne

nickname: Wayner

position: left winger

play style: power forward

drafted: 5th overall

50 goal scorer in the dead puck era

one of the last guys to be high scoring and have 100+ penalty minutes

retires due to back injuries

wins one cup in the 90s

and like I said before he agrees to get partial ownership of the team to keep it in the city post retirement

Dick Grayson

position: center

play style: playmaker

drafted: 1st overall

first sign of hope as the team has been bottom of the league post Bruce's retirement

I did consider making him a goalie because of flexibility but felt him being captain was more important so center it is

one of the youngest captains in the league as he's named at the start of his sophomore season as he entered the NHL at 18

only one to go CHL as he's not American so no US National Team Development Program

cheats at face offs because if you're not cheating you're not trying

can use heel to heel for puck protection and can get off the ice on his own if he loses a blade on his skate

no one thinks he's fast until he's coming after them on the backcheck

favorite thing is stealing the puck, second favorite thing is breaking ankles

doesn't fight but he can WWE slam guys to the ice

everyone thought he was a bust for the first two years because he had no one to pass to

third year he decides to start shooting and begins to rack up more points

Jason Todd

Talia refuses to get into hockey even after being with Bruce but when Damian was three she asked Bruce if skating would wear him out and he said yes so she let Damian go skate

didn't learn to how to stop until he was six because going fast was more important so either fell down or slammed into the boards to stop

vicious in family games of floor hockey

definitely practices trick shots

gets both power skating and figure skating coaching

not even in the NHL and already annoyed with media as he's predicted to go high in the draft

he'll learn to pass and play defense eventually

i genuinely think that jason could and would be content with an ordinary life, especially if bruce were a civilian too. in another life i would have really enjoyed just being your son. a 10pm bedtime and slippers instead of pixie boots.

#needless to say he is a bleeding heart so he would probably dedicate much of his life helping others #but as a civilian #like. he did not ask to be robin. it was offered to him #and sure he would step up if it was needed but i think that compared with dick for example #there wasn’t really anything that would suggest that jay would go out of his way to hunt criminals on his own at night #he even skipped patrol to do his homework instead in comics come on #i adore jay as robin and jay loved robin more than anything too but ultimately #when in ‘a death in the family’ alfred said that he should be given time to heal when he was given a home first #instead of being put in this role #he was right.#because jay isn’t able to distance himself from pain of other people #which in his robin run causes him to grow more and more restless and slightly bitter #i’m not entirely sure if jay would stay a civilian if bruce never offered robin because having his loved ones so involved in this lifestyle #would make it a risk for him not to be trained at all #and once he was trained he would probably feel like it’s his duty to do the most he can.#but maybe there would be more balance #just thinking out loud don’t mind me #jason todd #dc comics #jay ramblings #jay meta
