PROMPT LIST FOR ALTERNATE WHUMPTOBER (W/ @lilac-gold)
Here's the full prompt list/summaries for our Omori collab Whumptober. All alternate universes, all alternate prompts. AI-LESS Whumptober prompts used.
Link to fic: https://archiveofourown.org/works/50461192/chapters/127494370
DAY: PROMPT - CHARACTER(S) (AU) - AUTHOR
SUMMARY
Day 1: Bloody Knuckles - Kim (Spider-Man) - RED
Kim messes up her knuckles beating up villains. Kel and Aubrey help patch her up and they have a chat about how Kim’s coping with the death of her brother, whether Kim wants that or not.
Day 2: Gunshot Wound - Kel (Gotham) - RED
Kel isn’t sure what to think of Gotham; it’s confusing, and dark, and people don’t follow the rules. It gets much scarier when he’s separated from his friends while bleeding out. Why does he get the feeling becoming Toast is a much bigger deal here than it is back home?
Day 3: Separated From Loved Ones - Hero (Ticking of the Clock) - RED
Hero can’t understand why anyone would kill themselves, but stuck in the second he found Mari’s body, he has a lot of time to think about it. He’s always been broken, maybe it’s his fault for not understanding.
Day 4: Drowning - Rococo (Summer Camp) - LILAC
Rococo can’t swim. Unfortunately for him, there’s a lake in Camp Headspace, and he’s just been pushed into it.
Day 5: Blackmail - Basil (Lawyers) - LILAC
Basil had never expected so much of his personal life to be involved in this case. Much to his dismay, however, Jawsum seems determined to involve even more.
Day 6: Crying To Sleep - Mari (Pirates) - LILAC
Mari’s the captain of her ship. The crew look up to her, she can’t afford to show any weakness.
Day 7: Disowned By Family - Kel, Aubrey, Hero, Basil (Prison) - RED
Hero and Kel receive a letter from their parents after they’re convicted. Aubrey and Basil don’t. They all get the message loud and clear.
Day 8: Electrocution - Sweetheart (Mythology) - LILAC
Sweetheart has never been the easiest goddess to get on with. It comes as a surprise to no-one when she ticks off the wrong group of sisters.
Day 9: Forced Feeding - The Maverick (Victorian) - RED
Mikhael hates how strict his family is. He doesn’t fit in the way Daphne and Bowen do, and burns with the desire to be his own person. In an act of rebellion, he refuses to eat his dinner. His parents don’t take that very well.
Day 10: Bullied - Rococo (Magical Girls) - LILAC
Rococo’s never been well-liked, especially not at Closeby. When the bullying gets worse, Sweetheart notices, and pulls him out.
Day 11: Suffocation - Mutantheart (Space) - LILAC
Mutantheart is enjoying traversing the stars with her sisters. That is, until she gets a much closer look at them than she ever wanted.
Day 12: Abandoned - Basil (Found Footage) - RED
Basil’s friends try to reconnect with him after Hero is found. It’s already far too late for that. He’s more determined than ever to find the last pieces of the only person who never abandoned him.
Day 13: Grief - Aubrey (Reincarnation / Magical School) - LILAC
It's days like these when Aubrey misses her old life the most. It wasn't perfect, not by a long shot, but at least things still felt normal.
Day 14: Human Shield - Daphne, Bowen (Superheros Lilac) - LILAC
Sweetheart knows how much Daphne means to Bowen. And, well, Daphne's hardly going to oppose her if she decides to use that to her advantage.
Day 15: Self Defence - The Maverick (Fashion & Models) - RED
The Maverick’s many fashion related controversies have gained him many enemies. One such enemy attacks him while alone. He (somehow) manages to fend the attacker off and gets a very tiny new fan.
Day 16: Lab Rat - The Maverick (Octonauts) - LILAC
The Maverick is the weak link of their team, everyone says so. He doesn't know why he's so surprised when he gets targeted as such.
Day 17: Memory Loss - Sunny (Assassins) - LILAC
Sunny is a weapon, a tool to be aimed at enemies. And to those who control him, Basil is very much not welcome.
Day 18: Misunderstanding - Mori (Our Omori) - RED
Mori just wanted to be left alone. He’d never liked Kel, the boy was just so loud and touchy. He just wanted some space from him. A botched attempt to convey that leaves him at risk of ruining everything.
Day 19: Hypnosis - Spaceboy (Nothing is Happening) - RED
Spaceboy wants nothing more than to get home to his husband. A chance encounter in the Cold Pool Dimension™ changes that. After all, how could he miss a home that doesn’t exist?
Day 20: Mutilation - Hero (DHMIS) - LILAC
Mari is upset with her friends. They need to learn how to be better, and as the eldest, she expects Hero to set an example.
Day 21: Mouth Stitched Shut - Basil (Angels) - RED
Basil is cavorting with the demons (Blackspace) and gets his mouth sewn shut for it. However, there's one problem– he was not, in fact, cavorting with demons.
Day 22: Nerve Damage - Kel (Teachers) - LILAC
During a friendly game of basketball with some old schoolmates, Kel injures himself. Afterwards, he tries to continue teaching before it's healed.
Day 23: Nervous Breakdown - Sunny (Sunny Hates Hero) - RED
Basil is the final straw. After three days of hearing nothing but praise for the embodiment of everything that killed Mari. His best friend siding with that monster over him is just too much. Sunny snaps.
Day 24: Words Carved Into Skin - Aubrey (Boss Parents) - LILAC
Aubrey's finally got a chance to leave Humphrey, and she's overjoyed. The Slime Girls, on the other hand, are far less pleased.
Day 25: Stalked - Hero, Kel, Aubrey (Not Friends) - RED
Basil and Sunny have been stalking Hero, Kel, Aubrey for years. Kim finally has enough evidence to prove it to them. She wishes she could feel vindicated now that she has proof that she was right about them being creeps, but all she feels is sick.
Day 26: Non-Consensual Touching - Hero (Curses & Blessings) - RED
Hero is blessed, he’s everything everyone needs. Universally loved. He has an obligation to please those around him because of that. Who cares if they’re a little handsy? As long as he’s making them happy it’s all worth it.
Day 27: Paranoia - Hero (A Series of Unfortunate Events) - LILAC
Even at Spaceboy's, Hero cannot sleep. Illogical as he knows it is, he can't seem to shake the feeling that Sweetheart could show up again at any second.
Day 28: Peer Pressure - Spaceboy (Mermaids) - LILAC
Spaceboy isn't particularly popular, despite his father's high-ranking position. Needless to say, it's rather surprising when the Princess herself approaches him with a request.
Day 29: Prison - Hero (Superheros Red) - RED
Hero gets ousted as the leader of the biggest Villain group in town, Siren. Jawsum is furious and betrayed. He decides that Hero can make up for his betrayal. After all, a pretty Siren who can get everyone addicted to its song is a living money maker. He already has the cage ready.
Day 30: Silent Treatment - Rococo (Royalty) - RED
Sweetheart wasn’t talking to him in an attempt to prove that she’s serious about her latest boy, who is staunchly, if very politely, refusing her affection. Rococo suffers through humiliation and strife, as he once again puts up with her irresponsible actions.
Day 31: Truth Serum - Kel (Magical Apprentices) - LILAC
The Unbread Twins really, really need a break from mentoring this child. Kel just wishes they'd chosen a babysitter who wasn't a group of evil scientists.

"Synopsis for the Cartoon Special Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Kids"
Bugs Awaaay! It's Miss Spider's wedding day! Little Miss Spider is all grown up and she is getting hitched to Holley spider. The wedding is a bug-stravaganza. Bugs from all over Sunny Patch have flitted, hopped, or crawled to attend the festivities, including Betty Beetle, Miss Spider's adoptive mom and- Asparagus ‘Gus' Beetle, Miss Spider's brother. The only bug missing the shindig is Spiderus spider, who still holds a grudge against Miss Spider for picking Holley over him. After the wedding, a party hops into the night as the bugs hit the dance floor to the swinging sounds of Katie Katydid and the Cross Creek Cricket Fiddlers. The event is sensational except for one brief interruption when an uninvited chicken shows up. Chickens and bugs don't exactly mix company... The bugs shoo the chicken off. They don't notice that she's laid an egg and left it behind.
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in a baby carriage. Five of them! At first, Miss Spider's got the jitters about being a Mom. Her spider Mom abandoned her at birth and she never learned anything about spider babies. Her adoptive Mom Betty assures Miss Spider that everything she needs to be a good Mom, she's already learned and knows in heart. Once Holley's and Miss Spider's perfectly precious little baby spiders, twin girls Snowdrop and Pansy and three boys, Spinner, Wiggle and Squirt arrive, Miss Spider is overjoyed. She quickly gets into the swing of motherhood. The little spiders are spunky and full of personality, especially Squirt who is always exploring every hollow log and waterspout. On a family picnic, he uncovers the abandoned chicken egg from Miss Spider and Holley's wedding. Squirt wants to keep it and take it home. Miss Spider tells him it's not his to keep. Some poor Mommy has lost her egg. Surely she must be looking for it. But Squirt can't get the egg out of his head. He hatches a plan. If the Mom won't come to the egg, he'll just have to take the egg to the Mom. Without telling his Mom, he takes off in search of the chicken.
Miss Spider's world turns upside down when her Squirt goes missing. What kind of mother loses her child? All the fears she had about being a good Mom come bubbling to the surface. Within a short time she and Holley have all of Sunny Patch abuzz. Every bug is out looking for her missing baby.
Meanwhile Squirt has a tremendous adventure looking for the missing mother. Along the way he meets three other wayward kids, Dragon, the Dragonfly whose bark is worse than his bite, Shimmer, the narcissistic Jewel Beetle and Bounce, the crazy little bedbug. All these bugs happen to be in search of their mothers too. When they find out Squirt is out looking for a missing Mom they tag along with him. Maybe he'll help them find their Moms too. The great adventure hits a sour note when Scamp realizes he's good and lost. When he runs into the villainous Spiderus, instead of helping him, Spiderus tries to eat his friends. When they fight him off, Spiderus abandons the kids in the woods. Things go from bad to worse when snowflakes start falling and a late spring storm hits.
Miss Spider and Holley are wringing all eight legs with worry. Despite the inclement weather, they brave the storm to go rescue their baby. When they run into Spiderus, Miss Spider begs him to help find their Squirt, since he was the last to see her baby. He begrudgingly takes them to the Snakey Woods through a dangerous and harrowing storm.
After finding refuge in a little Stinkbug's burrow for the night, the following morning, Squirt and his friends, complete the last leg of their journey, to the barnyard. It is there, in a daring rescue, that Miss Spider and Holley are reunited with Squirt. Miss Spider launches into a heroic maneuver and saves Squirt from being chicken feed. The baby chick is reunited with its Chicken Mom, and Squirt's friends, Shimmer, Bounce and Dragon, well they are still orphans... That is until Miss Spider and Holley adopt them and take them back home where instead of five bugs, they now have eight. Miss Spider discovers that indeed everything she needed to know about being a Mom she already knew.

Okay, so here's the story: I'll be doing movie reviews on my top 10 favorite movies and promoting them and why I think they need more love. "One Stormy Night/Arashi No Yoru Ni" is a big one and will change your life, that's how inspirational and powerful it is of a movie... and it's for family audience as well. However, I'm watching the English dub, which is technically a fandub. It's more well done, and I can't watch a movie with subtitles. The voices though... amazing! Even my grandma liked it the first time she watched it.
One stormy night has everything: The strong female character we all crave for (Mei's mother) who sacrifices herself for her baby, the overprotective grandmother (Mei's grandma), the goofy sidekick who is full of himself (Tapper) and the cute girly sidekick who kind of enjoys attention (Mina), a bad*** villain (Giro), the villain's slightly more lovable sidekick who speaks with British accent (Barry), the two screwups who can't do anything right (Zack and Beach) and our two underdogs who are different from the rest of their groups (Mei and Gabu). Mei is a sheep/goat (it's an English dub idk what he is exactly) who is not the stereotype of how a sheep should be. Mei is fearless, carefree, and outgoing. Gabu is also different from his pack. Gabu's sensitive, goofy, and not tough like the other wolves. Just by the descriptions of the characters, I think you canmake out which one suits you and which one you can relate to. If you have questions, FEEL FREE TO ASK ME!
The other movies I will be doing reviews of;
1.Barnyard/Back at the Barnyard (Nickelodeon)
2.Sheep and Wolves (WizArt)
3.Wolfwalkers (Cartoon Salloon)
4.Rock Dog (Mandoo Pictures)
5.Duck Duck Goose (Netflix and Origin Pictures)
6.Chicken Run (DreamWorks, Aardman, and Pathé)
7. Storks (Warner Bros)
8. Rio and Rio 2 (BlueSky and 20th century fox)
and finally at 9. One Stormy Night/Arashi No Yoru Ni (TBS and Studio Chizu)
and at Halloween I'll do a stream on Discord where I'll watch 4 Halloween-themed kids/family movies in a row
I plan for next year at Easter time. I'll start watching more movies with sheep but things happened that changed my life forever and now next year will start. Next year at Father's day, I'll be reviewing Duck Duck Goose so that means you got to wait a LOOOONG time for the One Stormy Night review. Those of you who watched One stormy night, let me know you're favorite character in the comments. I don't know if you know me already but you'll know I LOVE Gabu! ^u^ Gabu is one of my favorite anime characters of all time. I think he's so cute and funny. I love the movie's character designs, especially for him. His voice in the dubbed version is also really good too. Tustin Macafee did a great job on every character he voiced! I fell in love with Gabu!
Now I know the dubbed version is TECHINCALLY A FANDUB but I don't care. It's not fully a fandub, since they got permission from the companies that made One Stormy Night/Arashi No Yoru Ni, and had the funding to dub it over. It's not like a normal fandub. I can't watch a movie with subtitles, too distracting. If you're an easily distracted person like me, I recommend the dubbed version, and even if you're not I still recommend it. I was so shocked that one man could voice like 20 characters! If you know who Tustin Gilmer Macafee is, let him know what an amazing job he did and why isn't he voicing characters in movies/cartoons and stuff?
Another thing; One Stormy Night is mostly a family movie. I wouldn't consider it a kids movie, but I will say it's for family audiences. There's a difference between "kids movie" and "family movie". I would rate One Stormy Night as PG. Although, it does have some intensity in some scenes, I think mostly kids can handle it. It moves slow. I wouldn't put it on for a group of 2-5 year olds, though. Also, if you have a disability such as autism and are easily upset I don't think there's a lot that might upset someone like that, but I'd still be cautious. There's some violence, no real blood though. There is a LITTLE WEE BIT of blood.... but not a lot. I think it's mostly a cute movie though. It's only that first scene that's a little touchy. There are also a few minor swear words, not real bad swear words but they say "Hell" the wrong way and use the word "Bastard". I'm sure there's Disney movies that used those words, too, it's not like real bad swear words. It's not like street swear words like the F word and stuff. I recommend this movie to everyone in the world because of how powerful the message is but I know in reality that everyone in the world can not watch everything. My cousin is 9 and she is very sensitive and innocent, I think the movie is fine if you cut out the first scene and told her what happened. However, most 9 year olds I think could handle everything in the movie and I think more parents should let their children who are old enough to watch it. It's long and slow moving, not really the best thing for a group of preschoolers, though. I wouldn't have the newborn baby watch it either, they don't know what the heck is going on.
If you're looking for another option, and you have a bunch of little kids, the show is an option. They made a terrible adaptation, yet it's also amazing. I love the show but I hate the fact that they made Mei and girl and changed their designs... and the worst betrayal... Barry doesn't speak with British accent! 0_0 This can't be I can't listen to him and think that's Barry that's not Barry! (Just kidding, but the voices for the other characters in the show are very unfitting) I believe the show for One Stormy Night was meant for preschoolers, and even though it's a Japanese show, it reminds me a lot of western kids shows made for that age group. The animation reminds me a lot of Miss Spider Sunny Patch Friends and the voice acting is spot on! Jack Merluzzi makes a great Gabu. I don't love him like Tustin's Gabu, but Jack does a good job and makes Gaby always sound enthusiastic. The names are also different from the show, too! Baru=Barry, Mii=Mina, Tappy=Tapper

off the rack #1301
Monday, February 17, 2020
Happy Family Day. I'm grateful for my extended family of fellow comic book aficionados. Sharing the love of our hobby keeps me young and brightens my life. I miss seeing many of you but you are in my thoughts.
Catwoman #20 - Joelle Jones (writer) Fernando Blanco (art) FCO Plascencia (colours) Saida Temofonte (letters). Mrs. Creel poisons her party guests showing us what a nasty woman she is. Catwoman fights through a bunch of zombies to get some Lazarus Water to save a friend. Selina's final obstacle will be Mrs. Creel. I can't wait for this story to end. It's been kind of blasé.
Thor #3 - Donny Cates (writer) Nic Klein (art) Matthew Wilson (colours) VC's Joe Sabino (letters). Lots of KRAKKABOOMS this issue as Thor fights Beta Ray Bill. Horseface doesn't have a chance with All-Father Thor boosted with Galactus given power cosmic. Don't build a funeral pyre for Bill yet. Someone comes to his rescue and that person is a surprise.
The Dollhouse Family #4 - M. R. Carey (writer) Peter Gross (layouts) Vince Locke (finishes) Cris Peter (colours) Todd Klein (letters). Alice and her daughter recover from the horrible explosion from last issue but their survival cost them an arm and a leg. When Alice gets back to the dollhouse, she finds there's a new tenant and she's not nice at all. This horror title isn't horrible. You should come visit.
Hawkeye: Freefall #3 - Matthew Rosenberg (writer) Otto Schmidt (art) VC's Joe Sabino (letters). This issue explains how Clint can be in two places at one time. It's dumb but I don't mind because this story is kind of dumb. I like it for the guest stars. The Black Widow shows up and the hero on the last page is a favourite of mine. If the new Ant-Man mini had been this much fun I'd still be reading it.
The Batman's Grave #5 - Warren Ellis (writer) Bryan Hitch (pencils) Kevin Nowlan & Bryan Hitch (inks) Alex Sinclair (colours) Richard Starkings (letters). I don't know if it's just me, but I find that I lose interest in a Warren Ellis story somewhere and this issue might be it. I've forgotten what the mystery is that put Batman in detective mode even though he's following a lead in Arkham Asylum this issue. I like seeing Batman kick bad guy butt as much as the next fan, but 8 pages of it here seems to be padding the story. Methinks this 12-issue story could've been told in 6.
Savage Avengers #10 - Gerry Duggan (writer) Patch Zircher (art) Java Tartaglia (colours) VC's Travis Lanham (letters). Conan and the two Doctors, Doom and Strange, battle Kulan Gath. Guess who wins? This issue made me laugh out loud.
Jessica Jones: Blind Spot #3 - Kelly Thompson (writer) Mattia De Iulis (art) VC's Cory Petit (letters). Now this is a much more enjoyable murder mystery than Batman's Grave. I know exactly what's happening because Kelly Thompson recaps as the investigation continues. There's even an extended 5-page fight scene where Jessica and Elsa Bloodstone fight creatures from the Black Lagoon but it isn't boring because they're bantering about the case all the while. The rest of this 6-issue mini can't come out fast enough for me.
Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy #6 - Jody Houser (writer) Adriana Melo (pencils) Mark Morales (inks) Hi-Fi (colours) Gabriela Downie (letters). Harley and Ivy's adventure comes to an end with a battle between good and evil Ivy. I liked how they left the fate of Poison Ivy a mystery. Who knows how she'll act the next time she sees Harley?
X-Force #7 - Benjamin Percy (writer) Oscar Bazaldua (art) Guru-eFX (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). This issue features Domino who was rescued from the bad guys recently. The bad guys managed to steal her good luck powers and have transferred them to someone else. This newly empowered individual is an assassin going around killing mutant supporters. Neena's not too happy about that. I wasn't too surprised by the reveal of the assassin's identity on the last page but I'm sure some new fans will be.
X-Men #6 - Jonathan Hickman (writer) Matteo Buffagni (art) Sunny Gho (colours) VC's Clayton Cowles (letters). This issue features Mystique. She's my favourite shape-shifter. She's sent on a mission to infiltrate the space station designed to fight against the mutants. I liked how the flashbacks merged with this story to culminate at the ominous last page.
The Immortal Hulk #31 - Al Ewing (writer) Joe Bennett (main story pencils) Ruy Jose, Belardino Brabo & Cam Smith (main story inks) Paul Mounts (main story colours) Javier Rodriguez (McGowan sequence pencils & colours) Alvaro Lopez (McGowan sequence inks) VC's Cory Petit (letters). We get into the heads of Scientist McGowan and the Hulk this issue. Matters of the mind shouldn't surprise fans what with Xemnu being in this story.
The Amazing Spider-Man #39 - Nick Spencer (writer) Iban Coello (art) Brian Reber (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). This issue reminded me of the Odd Couple, Oscar and Felix. Spider-Man agrees to be a guest on Jonah's podcast and sparks fly as the two antagonists butt heads. It's all talk radio until the super villain crashes the party. Next issue should be less talk  and more action.
Superman: Heroes #1 - Brian Michael Bendis, Matt Fraction & Greg Rucka (writers) Kevin Maguire, Mike Perkins, Steve Lieber, Mike Norton & Scott Godlewski (art) Paul Mounts, Gabe Eltaeb, Andy Troy & Nathan Fairbairn (colours) Troy Peteri, Clayton Cowles & Simon Bowland (letters). This $5.99 US one-shot is tied-in quite closely with what's been going on in Action Comics & Superman. It looks at the consequences of Superman revealing his secret identity and it's well worth reading.
Doctor Strange #3 - Mark Waid (writer) Kev Walker (art) Java Tartaglia (colours) VC's Cory Petit (letters). This is a great one issue story if you want to check this new run out. Doctor Strange fights an artistic demon to save lives.
Gwen Stacy #1 - Christos Gage (writer) Todd Nauck (art) Rachelle Rosenberg (colours) VC's Joe Caramagna (letters). I liked this better than The Amazing Mary Jane maybe because it deals with a younger high school aged Gwen. This story takes place before Gwen and Peter become friends and lovers and involves her father Captain Stacy and his investigation of New York's mob. There are a trio of bad guys that you'll recognise but the big deal super villains don't show up until the last page. If they don't get you to pick up the next issue, nothing will.
Batman: Pennyworth R.I.P. #1 - James Tynion IV & Peter J. Tomasi (writers) Eddy Barrows & Eber Ferreira, Chris Burnham, Marcio Takara, Diogenes Neves, David Lafuente and Sumit Kumar (art) Adriano Lucas, Rex Lokus & Nathan Fairbairn (colours) Travis Lanham & Thomas Napolitano (letters). This one-shot tribute to Alfred shows us what a dysfunctional family Bruce has created. I would have preferred a more touching send off to this beloved character like the one Brian Michael Bendis wrote for Ultimate Spider-Man/Peter Parker. Damian, Tim, Jason and Barbara reminisce about the butler and then Ric Grayson chimes in with a story about Nightwing. Who the heck is Ric Grayson? I thought Alfred deserved better than this.
Nebula #1 - Vita Ayala (writer) Claire Roe (art) Mike Spicer (colours) VC's Travis Lanham (letters). I'm ambivalent when it comes to this cyborg killer but I wanted to see if that might change by reading this 5-issue mini. She finds a scientist who has built a device that can predict the future and has him implant it so it's integrated into her cybernetic system. The untested tech winds up screwing with her head. I didn't change my opinion of Nebula with this first issue and I can see where the rest of the story is going so I'll leave the rest on the racks.
Superman #20 - Brian Michael Bendis (writer) Ivan Reis, Joe Prado & Oclair Albert (art) Alex Sinclair & Jeremiah Skipper (colours) Dave Sharpe (letters). There's action: Superman dukes it out with Mongul. There's drama: The Daily Star is trying to discredit Clark, Lois and the Daily Planet. And there's a surprise appearance of an old friend. There's everything a good comic book needs to grab my attention and want to keep reading.
Marvels X #2 - Alex Ross & Jim Krueger (writers) Well-Bee (art) VC's Cory Petit (letters). I was fooled by the truck driver who picked up the kid because of the red beard, sunglasses and No Fear baseball cap. I thought it was Matt Murdock in disguise but I was surprised by who it actually was. Daredevil does turn up later in this issue as he and Spider-Man help to keep David safe. The kid's important because he could help find a cure for what's infecting humanity.

There are lots more shows I have found since Rolie Polie Olie, Franklin, Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends, and Little Bear aren’t the only ones created by Treehouse Direct and Nelvana. Thus, I searched to find Pippi Longstocking animated series created by one too. And I know OHANAS like Rapunzel and her bro, my uncle figure friend, Ralphie, liked the show too. https://m.youtube.com/user/TreehouseDirect/playlists# https://www.instagram.com/p/CAlV-s3lv7Z/?igshid=q7ldjcijtbbc

Aru'e Tio'r (Enemy Within)
Heyy everyone, sorry for the late update! Stuff is happening and these things are getting a tad hard to write (keeping it kinda mysterious, following my main idea, giving everyone enough screentime...) so the updates will be kinda slower, sorry... Hopefully it won't kill the mood for any of you! ^^
So, yeah, some more stuff happens here, some plot development and some insight into the 112th! Yey? Read, review and enjoy~
[Ch.1] [Ch.2] [Ch.3] [Ch.4] [Ch.5] [Ch.6] [Ch.7] [Ch.8] [Ch.9] [Ch.10] [FanFic] [AO3] [Master-list]
More about the 112th [Standard Headcannons] [Happy Version]
Chapter 11
“Everyone! Group up!” Ahsoka called as she deflected enemy fire. But only a few of them actually gathered together – most kept their distance.
“They’re coming in from everywhere!” Appo managed to blast a few of them.
“How did they breach the base? Did we not set up security systems?” Krell growled lowly, using the force and pulled an Umbaran fighter from the air, crashing in into the Umbarans.
“Must have been a malfunction or something!” Boomer managed to say before he got hit in the shoulder, knocking him to the ground.
“We can’t hold them off – they’ve got a full assault squad here!” Kano spotted the incoming tanks and fighters raining death from above.
“We can’t leave – we’ve got too many wounded and missing!” Slasher yelled over the screams and explosions, checking on Boomer.
“Look, there!” Ash pointed at the edges of the base, where Umbaran soldiers were dragging clones away and into empty hangers or prison blocks. “They’re taking prisoners?”
“This is not good!” Ahsoka thought, eyes going from the fallen to the captured. She could also feel the ground shake as the spider tanks walked, eliminating waves of soldiers in one fell swoop.
“I’m going to go look for Rex! He has to have a plan! Maybe I’ll run into Fives as well!” she said, unable to see or read the horror and sadness coming off her brothers.
“Don’t bother. He’s dead,” Pong said emotionlessly, and her body turned numb.
“…W-What?” she barely managed to react to blaster fire coming her way, her head swimming. She forced herself to focus, to try and find that familiar flicker in the Force but there was none.
“He was patrolling near the tower – it was the first target. He is either dead or captured. We cannot waste time on a dead man,” the Besalisk continued, throwing one of his sabers and slicing apart an incoming wave of Umbarans.
“Commander, what are your orders?” Appo asked and Tano froze for a few seconds. The world seemed to move slowly, she could see the blinding lights as soldiers fell, hear their screams their pleas. She saw the fires and the smoke rising from the base and saw the abled helping the wounded. They can’t win.
“Everyone, this is Commander Tano! I’m ordering a retreat! Help anyone you can and move into the forest!” she said into her communicator, fingers shaking and voice stuffy.
“You’re running away?” Krell asked in disbelief, sounding angered even.
“Yes, we are! We can’t continue to fight like this – we’ll die!”
“Victory to death, youngling,” Pong gave her a hard look, before jumping in the air and landing further away from their small group.
“Master Krell!” she couldn’t believe it. Was he seriously going to continue fighting like this? Or was he buying them time?
“Commander!” Appo gently took her shoulder. “We need to leave!”
“Right, let’s go! I’ll cover you!” she swallowed as she turned her back to the tower, to her friends and brothers. She felt like she was betraying them all, but there was nothing she could do right now.
“We… we had a plan,” Fives started weakly, sitting down on the edge of the bed. “To destroy the supply ship.”
“And you succeeded,” Reeve said, giving a small nod. He had sat down on a nearby chair, sending away any onlookers and letting the medics work.
“At what price?” Jesse was clenching his fists, eyes hard. He almost moved again, but managed to stop himself before that.
“You’re all still alive, aren’t you?” there was a sadness in the Captain’s tone as he looked at them, his broken gaze casting them in silence.
“Things would have been better if Krell had just – just,” Jesse couldn’t even word it, but the 501st saw the tension rise around them. The medics stopped, staring at them with wide eyes and Reeve cursed under his breath.
“General… Krell? You were working with him?” one of them asked, his gaze slowly moving to the Captain. “…Did you know?”
“…” Reeve closed his eyes and refused to speak or look at anyone else.
“Did you know why he left?” another medic hissed and Fives and Jesse suddenly felt like they were intruding on a personal matter.
“I did,” the Captain said simply, looking at them with emotionless eyes. “What of it?”
“He got to manipulate, break and destroy others – and not just any other battalion. The 501st! The ones we look up to! How could you just-!”
“What was I to do?” Reeve’s anger suddenly flared as he stood up. “He left us here alone, for the first time since I can remember. I didn’t see it important as to why – and if I remember correctly, neither did anyone else!”
There was a tense silence in the tent now, as the medics shrunk into themselves and the Captain looked exhausted and guilty. His next words were a whisper and he turned his back to the newcomers.
“Better them than us.”
“C’mon Kix, work with us here…” Patch said quietly as he checked over his brother.
“…I’m fine,” Kix insisted, but didn’t struggle against the cold tools.
“Yelling and punching our Captain doesn’t really show that,” Scar sighed, looking over at the scans they did.
“He deserved it,” Kix winced as the words left his mouth, but didn’t try to deny them.
“You can’t blame him for what Fives, Jesse and Hardcase did. They knew what they were getting into,” Fixer gave him a steady glare.
“…”
There was silence for a few more minutes as they worked, before screams and yells got their attention. Seconds after, the sounds of fighters and tanks moving around made their hearts skip a few beats.
“Umbaran attack?” Scar asked, walking closer to the door and seeing a group of brothers getting blown to bits.
“We can’t fight them like this – there’s too many wounded!” Patch glanced behind himself and saw the hurt brothers either trying to show they can fight or looking in worry.
“Lock down the doors – we can’t let them in,” Fixer said as he saw one of the less injured soldiers working on the panel.
“What about the others?” Kix was looking between all of them in shock.
“We can’t risk it – I’m sorry,” Fixer said and set a hand on his shoulder.
“…I’m not going to sit here and let them all die!” Kix shrugged off the arm and made a mad dash for the closing doors. The yells and calls of his brothers were lost on him as the echoes of battle filled his limbs with adrenalin. He dropped down and slid across the floor under the door just in time, before it closed and he stood in horror at what he saw.
“I’m surrounded!”
“Can’t shake them off!”
“Anyone got a clear shot?”
“Hold on, I’m on my way!”
“There’s too many!”
Cody clenched his fists and glared at the battle before his eyes, biting his lip hard enough to draw blood. This was a massacre. And where were their reinforcements? If this goes on, the entire division could be lost.
“Everyone, converge on me – we’ll strike at the heart of this enemy,” Kenobi said as every pilot seemed to let out a breath of relief. But it didn’t last long as they had to continue the battle, already exhausted.
“Commander! We’ve got incoming fighters!” Algo called and Cody spun around, eyes wide. He was about to order evasive maneuvers and to help, when Log cut in.
“They’re our sir! Reinforcements have arrived!” the wave of relief washing all of them in the command room could almost be seen as the Commander turned back out.
“Everyone, backup has arrived!”
“Apologizes everyone, we got careless,” General Tiin said as he flew in overhead, blasting the nearest enemies.
“It’s quite alright – you’re here now,” Obi-Wan replied as he led a squadron. “Now, how about we take care of these Umbarans and see if we can provide some assistance on the surface?”
“Sounds like a plan to me.”
He was running just like everyone else, following the ones at the front into the forest. The Commander’s order had gathered them together and they were moving.
“Anyone seen Tup or Dogma? They were in a hanger near the tower!” an older brother called as he looked around.
“Haven’t seen them sir!” Ink answered, but there was a shake in his voice.
“Kriff! I’m staying here in case someone else comes around – you follow Lieutenant Luv to the rendezvous point!”
“Sir-!” Topaz tried to speak, but the veteran cut him off.
“That’s an order rookie! Now go, get out of here!”
And just like that, they were running and moving again. The planet was as inhospitable as before, but now things seemed more crazy. In his head, he tried to pretend it was all just a simulation from Kamino as he and his brothers ran. The battle at the airbase was getting further and further away, but he felt like a traitor. Leaving his brothers to die back there, even if he was just a rookie, felt wrong. But he wondered how many veterans have felt this way? Maybe it was part of becoming a soldier.
“Hey, Sunny, you okay?” Ink asked him and he shook his head to clear his mind.
“Y-Yeah, yeah, fine… Just,” Sunny hated his how voice trembled. “This is insane…”
“Yeah, true there,” Seal said and gave out a nervous laugh. “But hey, at least we’re still together, right?”
“Right.”
Seconds later, the ground shook and a turquoise light seemed to appear all around them. A spider tank walked in from the high trees and Sunny was frozen there, staring at the weapon of death. There were screams all around him as brothers tried to fight or flee, but as the tank charged its cannon, he fell to his knees, shaking. Death awaits, he thought and closed his eyes. A moment later, there was indescribable pain, before it all vanished and he felt nothing at all.
“Lieutenant Luv, come in! Where are you and your squad?” came a broken staticy voice in an abandoned helmet as bodies lay all around the small field.
“Lieutenant? Answer me! Lieutenant!”
“Lieutenant? Answer me! Lieutenant!” Ahsoka was nearly pleading into her com. link, before closing her eyes and putting a hand over her face.
“Commander… If,” Appo started, standing by her side. “If they couldn’t make it, we need to leave… There are others counting on us. Different rendezvous points we’ve set up.”
“What’s going on here?” she whispered, fear in her eyes as she looked at the Sergeant.
“…A lot has happened. But I think it’s best we discuss it when we’re someplace safe. Umbaran’s are likely scattered all over in these woods,” Appo let out an exhausted sigh. If Rex really was… dead or captured, then he’s the one who replaces his command.
“Let me just – just do a quick scan. To see how many are alive and where they’re gathered most. And to try and find Rex or Fives,” she kept the last bit to herself as she sat down, legs crossed and heard the boys moving around her in a protective circle.
“Focus…” she said to herself, exhaling and concentrating on the Force flowing around her. It was wild and rapid, biting and almost cutting, but she endured it and expanded her focus from the woods. She sensed the others, the older ones leading and directing, the younger ones scared and confused… The dead and the dying in the woods, multiple flickers vanishing in an instant. It made it hard to breath.
Taking a shuddered breath, she continued and tried to move closer to the airbase, but just when she cleared the fog around it, she hit a wall. It sent a shockwave through her body, making her yell and lean on her knees, panting.
“Commander?” Kano asked as the others looked around for any danger.
“I – I can’t… sense anything inside the base…” she said fearfully, eyes wide. “Not a single vode, not the Umbarans… not even Master Krell.”
“…” the boys shared a look as Kano helped her stand, since she was still in a bit of a shock from the sudden block she ran into.
“We should get moving… Do you know where the others are?” Appo stepped closer.
“Yeah, I can lead us there…” Ahsoka nodded weakly.
“Sir!” Reeve heard just as he left the tent, his expression more tired than before. He didn’t linger after the small outburst inside, and the medics returned to what they were doing, even if more silently. The two 501st soldier didn’t say anything either, but he could clearly see the pity and sadness in their expressions.
“Yes?” he saw a rookie medic rushing to him, looking out of breath.
“The – The third one! 9112 finally finished the surgery!” he explained, but his expression didn’t seem to mirror the good news.
“How is he?” the Captain swallowed a lump in his throat. He was there when they found this trio and he saw the damage on the third one – didn’t look good at all.
“Alive,” the kid said firstly, but his expression was still sorrowful. “But… Well,” he fumbled, scratching the back of his neck.
“What it is?” now Reeve was starting to worry as he glanced at the main medical tent.
“His head sustained the heaviest damage and… well, we had to work on the most critical parts first so…”
The kids next words seemed to shake the old Captain’s world as a chill went up his spine. Of all the things to happen… He closed his eyes after the news, shaking his head even, and needed a few seconds to fully accept it.
“…Should we tell his brothers?” the kid asked in fear, eyes going past his superior and to the tent behind him.
“I’ll tell them… It’s best if they’re prepared for it,” Reeve said with a small nod. “Tell 9112 to get some rest – he’s been on his feet for a few days now.”
“He looked ready to fall down actually, but will do sir!” the rookie saluted and ran off again.
Reeve let out a tired sigh as he watched him and couldn’t help the pity that came to his eyes. There were so many young brothers here… Krell always seemed to get them early. And none of them had names. Any they managed to get on Kamino were dismissed and discarded once they joined this battalion. Maybe it was easier for them than the older ones… They haven’t gotten a real chance to use the name, so it might have been easier to revert back to numbers. It doesn’t make it right or any less painful, but it makes it easier for the Captain to tell apart the new and the old. After all, it seems they all have that same broken and empty expression now…
“So we’re stuck here now?” Fives said more than asked, a sigh following.
“Seems like it…” Jesse mused, staring at the top of the tent. “At least we’re all together eh?” he tried to lighten the mood, even giving a weak smile.
“Haha, yeah, true enough,” the ARC let out a small chuckle, before reaching carefully with his hand to the burned spot on his head.
“Hey, Jess?” he said quietly, staring off. “Do… do you think we can be what the Jedi are?”
“…What do you mean?” Jesse blinked, looking at his brother. “Force Sensitive?”
“Y-Yeah…” Fives cleared his throat, scratching his neck. “I told Rex before but… I um…” he swallowed before looking down at the other man. “I’ve been having dreams. Like, weird dreams, but they seem like stuff Ahsoka used to talk about. Seeing the future and all that,” he explained, throat stiff and voice low.
“What kind of stuff do you see?” Jesse wanted to understand, but it was something he couldn’t really wrap his head around.
“Like… It’s happened twice now,” Fives started, biting his lip a bit and putting his hands together on his lap. “I saw – heard,” he closed his eyes, unable to really explain it. “…Echo. I – I heard him in those dreams and… And not just him. I – I think Rex was there too, as was Krell and… and someone I can’t name,” just thinking about it made his body cold and his throat felt stuffy again. If he closed his eyes, he could almost see the dream again.
“A lot was happening and I was confused as hell, but… I know it was Echo.” He opened his eyes and saw Jesse staring at him in disbelief.
“Second time it happened… was just before I woke here,” a nervous smile was on the ARC’s face as he looked away, feeling a stinging in his eyes. These memories… they weren’t present to remember.
“The airbase was being attacked… Rex and Krell got into a fight but I couldn’t see what happened after. It – it was dark and hard to see and ended so fast I couldn’t-!” he took a deep, shuddered breath before continuing: “And – and Ahsoka was there, but she – she,” his voice kept breaking and he had to swallow again. “She was fighting Krell.”
He paused, catching his breath and turning back to see Jesse still looking confused and unbelieving as his brow furrowed. Fives was shaking now, his body cold and he bit down on his lip to avoid his teeth chattering. Why was he so damn scared? Because of the Force? Is that it?
“Fives…” Jesse said with a sigh, rubbing his face with both his hands. “That’s-,”
“Crazy, I know, but-!”
“I was going to say weird, yeah, but… I don’t know, feels entirely possible? You saw what Krell is like – I wouldn’t put it past him to do some of this stuff.”
“…And what about Echo?”
“…I honestly don’t know… A recording maybe? Your memories?” there was a pause as they only looked at each other, puzzled and worried.
“Ahem!” Reeve cleared his throat and got the attention of the two 501st boys. They seemed shocked, and wondered how much of the conversation he actually heard.
“I got some news for you two,” the Captain said stepping closer and saw them tensing, likely knowing what the news would be about.
“Your friend-,”
“Hardcase,” the two said immediately, knowing he likely had no idea what the man’s name was. But given so few brothers here had names, they just had to make it clear.
“Hardcase,” Reeve gave an acknowledging bow of the head. “His surgery is finished, however, there are some… complications.”
“What kind of complications?” Jesse nearly got up again, but Fives put a hand on his chest to keep him steady.
“…His head took the brunt of the damage and since there were other, primary injuries to take care of, our medics didn’t – couldn’t work on it fast enough,” the Captain avoided looking at them.
“You’re ignoring the question!” Jesse was feeling his heartbeat rise and breathing was becoming harder. He can’t lose another brother. Not like this.
“…His memory won’t be intact. 9112 said Hardcase will have gaps and missing pieces. Amnesia. How much, he can’t tell. But your friend, your brother, likely won’t remember the last few weeks at least.”
The silence in the tent was deafening. Jesse was choking on air, unable to form words or even move as Fives started with wide eyes and an open mouth. Amnesia. Seriously? He’s alive, that’s fantastic, but if he can’t remember…
“I’m sorry,” Reeve said and it sounded like he’s said so many times, he doesn’t believe in its meaning anymore. “But at least his duty won’t be hindered. He’s still a fully functional soldier.”
“And is that all that matters?” Fives had no idea where his anger came from as he stood up. Maybe from all the carp he’s had to deal with from Krell, or all the things he wishes he could have said to Rex back then. But it was burning his insides and he had to let it out.
“It’s how this works – the system we’re in. We can’t escape it, he won’t get off easy because he can’t remember,” Reeve managed to keep calm, but his eyes narrowed.
“That may the system, but it’s wrong!” the ARC clenched his fists. “I’m not just another number! None of us are!”
Another silence as Fives seemed surprised at his own words, Jesse was still looking in horror and Reeve seemed taken back. It lasted a few seconds, before the 112th soldier lowered his gaze and spoke up.
“…I used to believe that,” the Captain said quietly, as if scared someone would hear him. “There used to be so many of us with names, even when Krell was our General… But he changed one day, and forced us to numbers.”
“Then why-!”
“Because you either did as he said or you got killed!” Reeve’s own anger sparked, but his eyes carried only sadness. “My former squad mate, Loto, was killed – neck twisted by the Force – because he dared to speak back to Krell. Young brothers were getting slaughtered in suicide missions and we didn’t even have names for them! And all the while, here I was, carrying a name so many wished they could have!” the Captain was torn between anger and sadness as he spoke.
“I wore it like a badge of honor for a long time, before I saw what it really was. A mark. His mark on me, one I am never going to escape. I don’t have my name because I earned or deserve it. I have it, because he allowed it! Since then, it’s been a chain of shame…” his voice dropped as he started at the floor.
“So, forgive me if I don’t share your view on our lives. Because here? In the 112th? You are just a number. I try my best to help the rookies, or ease the veterans, but in the end, I’m more broken than any of them. I’m the oldest one here,” a humorless laugh escaped him as the two finally saw tears in his eyes.
“I can’t even do what some others have… Take my own life, on my terms. Because that’d mean leaving everyone here behind. I can assure you, Krell is not going to be happy. Having a broken Captain like me by his side is easier than trying to find a new one…”
“Things are calming down,” Tup said quietly, leaning over the edge of the hiding place. He was nervous, but at least he wasn’t alone.
“This is crazy,” Dogma whispered back, gripping his blaster close to his chest. They hid as soon as they could and managed to remain so while the Umbarans attacked all around. They wanted to help, but the logical parts of them told them they’d only get killed or captured. So, they stayed away and watched to try and find a chance to escape.
“Is that… General Krell?” Dogma asked in shock as the Besalisk landed by the tower entrance. For a few seconds, he felt relief because a Jedi could handle these bastards easy. But a second after he landed, Pong deactivated his sabers and the Umbarans seemed to… greet him? They certainly weren’t attacking him.
“What the-?” Tup asked in fear as they saw the Jedi talking to an Umbaran who seemed to be the leader, given the additions on his armor.
“Shh!” Dogma hissed and pulled his friend back behind the wall just as some Umbarans turned towards their spot.
“Is – is he working with them?” the question seemed to echo in both their heads as they felt cold. So cold. And watched.
“W-We need to move!” Dogma was shaking, entering a near panic as his voice was hardly raised. But before either could really move, something big and menacing jumped behind them, lightsabers drawn and a smirk on the Besalisk’s face.
“What have we here?” Krell asked, voice sadistic as the two soldiers trembled under his sheer strength. It was like they were suffocating and couldn’t even aim their weapons.
“Take them to the lab – we have more volunteers,” the General said and suddenly Umbarans surrounded the two and cuffed them.
The two couldn’t even speak as they continued to stare the monster before them, bodies cold and almost numb as their minds tried to understand and process what the hell was going on. They just knew it wasn’t good.
Cut! Phew, we were jumping all over the places weren't we? Hopefully it wasn't confusing ^^" If any of you have questions, feel free to ask and I'll try my best to explain (without spoilering the story) Thanks a lot for reading! I hope you enjoyed and if you did, please review! I love hearing what you lovely mates think! =D Till next time~

Characters I’ve thought up for the tiny aunt series so far
See here: https://thenewnio.tumblr.com/post/189989082523/i-have-this-neat-idea-for-a-series
The series takes place in Japan, so I need some good Japanese names and surnames.
Protagonist: A young girl in elementary school. Lives with her parents, next door to her aunt and uncle (on her dad’s side). A bit of a klutz. Would appreciate it if her aunt wouldn’t berate her on most of her ideas. Imagine a fusion of Doremi Harukaze and Phineas Flynn, who wants to embark on fun adventures, but is impeded by her clumsiness and her aunt’s irritation at this.
Aunt: Grouchy, practical and materialistic. Is often annoyed by her younger brother’s daughter’s antics. Tries to be patient with her for her younger brother’s sake (and sometimes fails). Is shown to be willing to loosen up and have fun. Does not take being shrunken too well. Sometimes finds herself in comical situations. Imagine Majorika as the typical grumpy neighbor/relative you often see in media.
Friend#1: A girl who makes doll clothes and accessories as a hobby. Makes clothes for the aunt after she’s shrunken. Basically Tomoyo from Cardcaptor Sakura meets Hazuki Fujiwara.
Friend#2: A Kansai boy who talks and acts tough. Lives with his widowing dad. Inspired by Dragon from Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Kids/Friends, with a bit of Aiko Senoo thrown in.
Magician: A young rookie mage whose gender I haven’t decided yet. Hears of the protagonist’s problems with her aunt and attempts to use their magic to teach the aunt a lesson, only to end up accidentally shrinking her. Throughout the series, they are often seen attempting to find a cure for the aunt’s condition. Is inspired by Schmendrick from The Last Unicorn.
Uncle: The aunt’s older brother. Boisterous, with a responsible side to him. Throughout the series, he attempts to find his sister after she seemingly vanishes. A mixture of Mike Fink from Davy Crockett and the River Pirates and Boss from Hamtaro.
Cousin: The protagonist’s younger cousin from her mom’s side. Mistakes the aunt for a doll of her at one point. Imagine Pop Harukaze meets Amane Suzuki from Welcome to the Space Show, with a bit of Dot from A Bug’s Life.
And that’s it for now. I also need a title for the series itself. Please send me your suggestions for the characters, their names and the series title, and I’ll incorporate them into the story!

What are namjin's favorite kids shows? favorite kids theme songs?
Wow, great question! I finally have  a chance to show off my intimate knowledge of children’s programming!!!
All of these are listed in order with 1 being the BEST.
Favorite kid shows:
Seokjin: I tried to condense this to just five, but there are so many that Seokjin likes, it was impossible.
Wallykazam! It’s a little blue ogre who casts spells that start with the letter of the day. He teaches synonyms and letter sounds, and the main villain’s name is Bob Goblin. Plus, there’s a purple giant named Gina, who is very nice, and Seokjin thinks it’s all very cute. Jimin loves it, and Hoseok also likes it!
Team UmizoomiAll the characters are cute and excited. They teach pattern recognition, simple shapes, measuring, and other math-related things. The villains are all really cute (although they freak Hoseok out, he’s a sensitive boy).
Bubble GuppiesA very clever show about mermaids. Sometimes they do parodies of pop songs, and the Lady Gaga “Pencil Case” cover is his favorite. Plus, they teach a lot of cultural things. Once, they used and Ancient Egypt theme and hieroglyphics as an excuse to teach kids how to read symbols on maps to find bathrooms and restaurants, and Seokjin really appreciated it. His favorite character is Nonny. This is the one pre-school show that Yoongi really enjoys.
Toot and Puddle It’s really cute, and really calming, and Seokjin feels relaxed when it comes on. It’s a quiet show, and he usually finds himself watching it with Taehyung.
Little Einsteins Because how could you not? Love the little Einsteins? Seokjin likes any kids show that showers his children in classical music and fine arts at an age appropriate level.
Sophia the FirstOkay, first, Taehyung has the biggest crush on Sophia, and it’s incredibly endearing. Second, Tim Gunn voices the butler, and Seokjin laughs every time he talks.
Charlie and LolaIt’s so cute. It’s unreal cute.
Jake and the Neverland PiratesThere are too many good shows for kids, these days. And also, Hoseok really likes this one, it’s his happy show.
TeletubbiesThis show is a little weird, admittedly, but Jungkook was Tinky Winky for his first halloween, so it has a special place in Seokjin’s heart.
Namjoon: (Namjoon watches way less TV with the boys than Seokjin, so he doesn’t have as many thoughts about the shows.)
The Upsidedown ShowNamjoon actually genuinely likes watching this one because it’s so clever and fun. Yoongi also will sit through it; it’s not too young for him.
Maggie and the Ferocious BeastThere’s something that’s sort of nostalgic about this one for Namjoon. It’s really funny, and really original, and he likes Hamilton and his box. He and Jimin sometimes make believe that Jimin has a Hamilton house with big boxes that come in.
Sesame StreetNamjoon only likes Sesame Street because of how excited Jungkook gets during Elmo’s world.
Blue’s CluesNamjoon really likes Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper. Also, he kid of likes the classic shows. He’s not home in the mornings very often when the boys watch TV, so he doesn’t know all the new ones like Seokjin does and often reverts back to reruns of old shows like Blue’s Clues. The boys don’t know the difference, anyway.
Dora Namjoon also really likes Backpack, and he sings the song every time he slings on the backpack he and Seokjin use as a diaper bag. Hoseok loves it. Yoongi thinks it’s annoying. (He’s too mature for Dora already, someone stop him from growing up.)
Favorite theme songs:
Seokjin: Seokjin has flawless taste in children’s programming and songs, so like if you don’t know any of these intros, trust me and listen to them. ESPECIALLY WALLYKAZAM AND UMIZOOMI, WOW.
Wallykazam!“Anything is possible with Wally, all you need the word!!!”
Team Umizoomi“We are a tiny team! We go behind the scenes! There’s nothing we can’t do! Milly, Geo, Bot, and you!!!”
Sophia the First“Then I became a princess overnight!”
Charlie and LolaThe little girl’s laughter alone.
Go Diego Go! “This rough and tough adventurer is working all the time!”
Little Einsteins“Climb aboard, get ready to explore!”
Namjoon:Namjoon doesn’t watch as many shows, but these are the ones he thinks about the most often, probably.
Little Einsteins “We’re going on a mission, start the count down! Everyone to rocket, rev up now!”
Charlie and LolaSeriously, it’s so cute, you guys don’t understand.
Wonder Pets“We’re not to big, and we’re not too tough, but when we work together we’ve got the right stuff!”
The Backyardigans“In the place where we belong, and we’ll probably sing a song, and we’ll maybe dance along.”
Sesame Street“Come and play, everything’s A-OK.”
Least favorite kid shows:
Also, here is a list of their least favorite kids shows (because there are definitely a bunch that they absolutely hate):
Caillou Caillou’s voice way too irritating. Seokjin and Namjoon spend all day listening to their kids whine, watching a TV show about a kid who does nothing but whine is absolute torture. Plus, because the show is based off of a kid with cancer, the parents are very lenient and give Caillou whatever he asks for, which doesn’t fly in the Kim household.
OobiSeokjin is terrified of this show. Namjoon sometimes makes his hand into a little person and talks to Seokjin with it just to annoy him, but Oobi really and genuinely freaks him out. Just the line in the theme song, “and he’s always with you.” Ew, stop, ugh, no thank you. Turn it off.
The Doodlebops What the fuck.
Lazy Town Awful, awful, awful, awful.
Chuggington Kill it, kill it with fire. The voices are annoying, the trains are creepy, and British people have a really weird concept of children’s programming.
Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends The character design is freaking creepy, and the animation is weird. They read the books to the boys all the time, though.
Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! This show is inexplicably annoying. The voices, the electronic weird music and odd sounds all the time and weird marshmallows, like ugh, get out.
Yo Gabba GabbaThis one, they don’t mind the kids watching so much, but it’s just... weird, and the music is way too catchy and way too annoying. Also it kind of gives Namjoon “Don’t Hug Me, I’m Scared” vibes, so he’s really distrusting of it.

How the seven + Reyna and Nico would be if they had to babysit Percy's little sister
Omg I love this prompt, so here it goes:
-At first they all do it separately, but they find that they are all not too good at it, and do it all together.
-Percy’s the best, knowing her the best, however he allows that lil munchkin to do anything that she desires.
-Annabeth’s pretty good at it, but once she started making her sing “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” and watch “Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends” thats where she drew the line.
-Leo is god awful, teaching the little girl how to make all types of explosives, much to everyone else’s dismay, because, its a freaking five year old!
-Piper’s pretty chill, until she realizes the girl is such a girly girl at times and she cannot find it in herself to play dress up.
-Jason and Frank good as well, until they gets really stressed if he doesn’t know something because hey, it’s Percy’s little sister and they will not mess anything up, in fear of messing up her childhood.
-Hazel’s good with the girl and super nice but like Percy she tends the allow the girl to walk all over her.
-Reyna’s okay at it, but can’t babysit alot since there is always something that happens at Camp Jupiter that calls for her attention.
-Nico’s loves Percy’s little sister so much and is so protective over her. He literally bubble wraps everything in the apartment.
-They all try to pretend that they aren’t the slightest bit overwhelmed but eventually crack and just decide to babysit the girl all together.
-They have a lot of fun doing it, all hanging out together and having fun while looking over the girl and soon it turns into a tradition, something they do every first Thursday of the month.
Keep them coming guys, I love doing these!

I can’t even remember my own headcanons anymore, ahaha I hate this.
Takin’ requests for Staci’s primary and secondary gifts, if anyone cares.
If you don’t know what that means then you need to read “Ants” again, and maybe my author comments too. Clearly I do because I forgot this was a thing.
Why do I try things. Why do things fall apart when I try them.
I have so many unfinished one-shots. Staci and Dawn bandaging Lightning after his injury in Season 4, and him having a one-sided conversation with the paralyzed Scott. Chet and Svetlana meeting at a gymnastics competition. Mal having that mental breakdown in front of Cameron that Zoey mentioned in “Six Shades”. Noah giving Zeke vaccinations. Zeke and Spencer going to the state fair. That time Zoey took Mike to the shelter and Vito freaked out. Multiple personality phone calls. A post-“Not Dead; Sleeping” one-shot where Courtney visits Zeke, Mal, and Manitoba and they watch “All-Stars”, and Mal doesn’t know what to think of what he was before his memories were wiped. That one-shot where Leonard, Scarlett, Max, Ella, and maybe Tammy go to the amusement park. Rock and Spud as kiddos who are too pure and good. A super bizarre one-shot about the alternate personalities back before they had any identities, including sexes, and they were all just colors and had their infamous fight with the original personality.
Everything crashes. Nothing gold can stay. I can’t even draw these guys right.
I try so hard, but the universe says no.
But if it makes y’all feel any better, I’m officially going to go on FOP ‘fic hiatus after Act 2 of Origin of the Pixies finishes up, which is in three chapters that are all pretty close to being finished, so give me another two-three weeks. Then you guys only have to compete with the “Danny Phantom” ‘fics.
I’m kidding. Staci first. Staci. First. Really. I can totally resist the temptation to flesh out the Ghost Zone in favor of poking around a radioactive forest filled with mutated flora and fauna. I am much stronger than my temptations.
I really, really want to get "Lyin’ Queen” done. College may keep me pretty busy, but there isn’t enough Staci love. I’m going to kick my perfectionist procrastination to the curb and just blaze through it. We’ll see what happens.
And then. Mercifully.
Leonard.
Leonard makes it all worth it. I miss my delusional, impulsive, ever-cheery, ultra-brave “Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends”-loving foster child son.
Between “Beatin’ Path” and “Lions Under Palm Trees” I have almost a hundred and fifty pages written that are pure Leonard goodness and I’m so excited. Staci came between us, but I’ll make sure they both get what they deserve.
It was a long day after a long week, can you tell?
