Wait. Rewatching Optigami one moment stood out to me and I wanna know If I got this right:

Shadowmoth just directly interacted with civilian Adrien through SentiAlec. Has Gabriel EVER acknowledged any civilians existence besides the ones he is directly focusing on (like Audrey here or speaking to the general, faceless crowd) when he was transformed?

Optigami actually highlighted this a solid bit more by never having Shadowmoth acknowledge the real Alec whatsoever. Alec was basically thin air to him the entire time they were in the same room.

So please do correct me if I’m wrong but isnt Adrien here the one and only non-target civilian person Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth/whatever EVER directly spoke to? Much less in a way that ackowledges the unfortunate situation the innocent civilian is being put in by association? It really seems out of the ordinary to me now. I cant remember any other incident even remotely like this, but maybe its just slipping my mind currently.

Does anyone remember any other situation where Gabriel transformed spoke to an innocent civilian? Or was Adrien really the only one til now who received that “honor” via SentiAlec?

Sentibeings should not be common since the Peacock Miraculous was missing for over 150 years so any Sentibeings made in that original time period should be long dead. Nice try writers to make it not obvious. SentiAdrien confirmed.

Honestly I think this just implicates all those masked rich ppl from the party in "Gabriel Agreste" as ppl who made sentibeings and what not. And then also implicates Kagami and Zoe as sentikids too (and Chloe maybe? Not sold on that idea mostly because the circumstances around Zoe's existence is a headscratcher). So my inference is that is what they mean by "common".

I'm pretty sure the takeaway post-s4 finale is that both Adrien and Felix are confirmed sentis so it's been sort of confirmed for a while, depending on how you interpret things.

Like Hawkmoth with his latest Chloe akumatization, I will attempt a back to back review of an episode. This time, it's Optigami! I admit I'm a little scared for this one because I've seen quite a bit of salt, but I'm hopeful. So lets jump right in!

Ok, I see why people were upset, but like, 1) how was Mari supposed to know that sending Adrien away would keep CN away? 2) she was protecting Adrien. 3) it was really unpredictable that CN would be kept out of this battle

So CN can't use his Cataclysm on himself, it seems. That's good to know

YAYYY!! Even if he didn't do much, Kitty still helped!!

You know what, I'm really happy that Alya gets to become a permanent hero. She deserves it and everyone wanted that back when Rena Rouge was first announced. So yayyy for permanent Rena!

Also, did I mention that I HATE GABRIEL AGRESTE???

All in all, I really liked this episode. We're getting to see more than just Ladybug and Chat Noir which I find great! I don't know why people didn't like this episode, I found it great. I enjoyed getting to see Natalie, feels like we haven't seen her in forever. I was hoping to see more Kagami (Idk, the title Optigami gave me Kagami hopes, but I guess it was just a play on optical and origami) but that's fine, an assumption of my part. I can't wait to see Chat's reaction when LB introduces Rena as a permanent member and how that's going to go (I'm sure he'll be excited!) and I'm curious as to how Gabriel will go about knowing that Rena = Alya
