OOOOOH this’ll be fun (I spent way too long thinking about this)

Crinkle - Probably not. She would try to find some kind of cure but get infected/killed in the process.

Mocha Bark - Well, in present day he’s dead, but if he was alive maybe?? If he had competent adults with him perhaps. I feel like he would be one of those characters to get their arm bitten or something and the group would have to amputate it.

Sugar Paper - Similar to Mocha Bark with having competent adults helping, but I feel they’d be a bit more independent. They would probably be with Crinkle until she gets infected and then learns to survive on their own. They’re the “resilient child that survives at the end of the movie with trauma” trope.

Lemon Zest - You’d think she’d survive, but nah. Well okay she would last a while. Like, she’d get infected right before the cure is found probably protecting others. She goes out with honor.

Confetti - Survives by pure luck. Everyone he knows is dead. He’s forever ridden with the intense pain of survivors guilt.

Fondant - Dies like halfway through. They aren’t really that athletic, but is very good with quick, rational decision making so they’d be a valuable asset. His lack of physical strength would come back to bite him though (literally lol)

Moringa Leaf - Survives. He’s the one to find the cure. Moringa is actually pretty sly and nimble when he needs to be so even if he can’t physically overpower the zombies, he’d be clever enough to either slip by, or trick them.

Rose Checker - Guy who dies first energy. I’m sorry Rose Checker I love you, you’re great, but you wouldn’t last a day. Though I can maybe see them dying with honor distracting or fending off the first few zombies so Moringa Leaf can escape and warn everyone.

Choco Checker - She’s a smooth-talking loan shark who has to hire her own assassins. I’m sorry girl, but your sly vocabulary skills can’t save you here. Plus, mostly everyone hates her so it’s not like she’s getting any help from anyone.

Rose Water - Would just give up. She wouldn’t even want to try, but Bosc Pear would drag her along with her. Wouldn’t even matter though because they both die together when they are eventually cornered.

Belladonna - Would survive by any means necessary. She feels no remorse to those who need to be sacrificed. “Oh no! The only way to get out of this enclosed space surrounded by zombies is to sacrifice one of our own!” “Sacrifice the 8 year old child, they’re dead weight anyway what are they gonna do for us??” Zero hesitation.

Bosc Pear - She had to talk Rose Water into trying to actually survive the apocalypse, but they both end up dying together anyway. She’s actually pretty strong physically so she would have an advantage, she just got unlucky. At least her girlfriend would be the last thing she’d ever see.

Withered Asphodel - Is upset that the infected cookies can’t fully die. Business is running a little slow now and they are NOT happy about it.

Overall:

Maximizing Beauty Physically

Consistency is key!

Leave your place and look at what’s hot around you. The internet is not always accurate.

If you’re going to wear straight hair, gloss it, flat iron or press it so it won’t be puffy & dull. My straightened, silky 150% density bang wig stands out more than a blonde’s limp, dull hair since I dyed it to complement my skintone. I’ve seen results. I am a Maybelline Mocha 360, and this haircolor brought my face to LIFE.

Fix your posture, open your body language.

Wear makeup. Makeup emphasizes the beauty inside, instead of overshadowing your natural beauty. I am more attractive than a girl who’s barefaced but naturally attractive features through makeup.

Practice regimens you do for special occasions whenever possible!

For lipstick, go based off your flushed shade to look natural. MAC Brick-o-la with lip liner is my closest!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shading! I’m extreme in my makeup, using 3-5 blushes to create a color gradient that copies my natural cheek contour since applying extremely natural makeup takes careful consideration. You don’t need to go to my extreme though! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you’re going to wear lashes, wear eye makeup and blush as well. The more length your lashes have, the less eye makeup you need. A flat face given dimension by lashes is alluring, but it isn’t cohesive altogether. You need warmth and color to even out the depth + extra coverage of your face from lashes.

Slug the night before and massage your face. Wash your face and clean your ears please. Makeup remover, water by itself, and witch hazel aren’t face cleansers.

Earrings, necklace, ring and a bracelet.

Paint your nails.

Exfoliate a few times a week! I bought African net cloths for easy exfoliation. Follow up with water based moisturizer then lubricating lotion.

⭐️ If you groan about features other women have but you don’t, imitate or stop complaining. This isn’t from insecurity, it’s maximizing our beauty. I purposely seek out overseas dating sites or pages ran by men worshipping a single culture of women to find out their aesthetic culture, then going to their region’s makeup artists on IG to copy their look/products. ⭐️⭐️

Infuse your water, and walk on the treadmill/outside. I beat my all time record Sept. 12th & 18th by walking 5.5mi and the results reflect in my energy. Freeze cucumber slices overnight and add a dash of lemon to my water for the day!

rice cake with whipped cream cheese. 35cal for the rice cake and 50cal whipped cream cheese 85cal total also kinda tastes like a bagel if ure into that + u can even top w strawberries if ure feeling the xtra cals lol

grilled chicken and broccoli. 80cal for 1/2 skinless boneless grilled chicken breast and 30cal for cup of broccoli + around 20g protein. u can add seasonings like italian seasoning and pepper or garlic powder/onion powder and those are all 0cal!! 110cal total and super filling because of all the protein

nonfat plain greek yogurt w/ stevia + strawberries. 80cal for yogurt, 0cal for stevia, 25cal for strawberries. 105cal total and super great if you’re craving something sweet but don’t want to lead to a binge

super coffee mocha latte. not only is it only 80cal total but it also has 10g protein which is really good for coffee, has a sweet flavor so it can help w fulfilling a sweet/choc craving without binging, and has lots of caffeine so it’ll help fight the nausea or tiredness from not eating. tried it for the first time today and i felt so full and so much better after not eating all day lol

fruit yogurt bark. if you use nonfat plain greek yogurt, that’s 80cal + whatever fruits you use so strawberries (50cal for 1cup), blueberries (40 for 1/2cup), or even apples (60cal for 1cup) so around 130-150cal total for the entire bark and if u cut it into pieces it’s around 50-80cal total per serving. this can help if u need something lowcal w a crunch

if yall want some more recs lmk i have quite a few extreme lowcal meals up my sleeve because ⭐️ving doesnt have to taste bad <3 you deserve to be skinny and eat food that doesn’t taste like cardboard (although sometimes that’s the vibe LOL)

Hmm, author's choice on director's cut...I think I'll talk some more about Hanging On (You're All That's Left to Hold On To). So here are some random behind the scene's bits from my brain!

You can all credit the fabulous @mia6363 for opening my eyes to the potential and joy of utilizing Bobby Finstock as a character. Her stories that focus on him are amazing and were very inspiring.

When I set down to figure out how Bobby might know about the Supernatural and some of his backstory for this universe I landed on him having a bit of the Sight and that led to him being a Medium.

I'm pagan myself and will admit that a lot of my beliefs and studies did influence the worldbuilding of this fic a lot. As did my absolute love of Ursula K. Le Guin's Earthsea books, which gets heavily into the power of naming.

Shufflemancy (using music as a divination tool) is actually a thing that I've used when stuck on things in the past. Like most divination tools, I find that it's more helpful in understanding your present and working through thoughts than predicting the future. But it can be a fun way to try to sort out chaotic thoughts and figure out what nagging worry in your brain is going on about.

Other aspects of my own experiences and learning that got women into the fic were the scenes on moving meditation. While I've never been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD, I do have C-PTSD and there is a strong possibility that I have inattentive type ADHD and/or am somewhere on the ASD spectrum. Because of the way my brain is wired, I've always struggled with traditional meditation techniques. But noticed that the times when my brain would truly quiet in the way people talk about meditation were moments when I was focused on my body and movement. Dance, martial arts, walking, and hell, even coloring all help me get into that zone.

Additionally, hot chocolate mix in a cup of coffee is a great way to make shitty coffee palatable and create a very cheap mocha. And since I know most support groups are held in places where the coffee is mediocre at best, I wanted to throw in that bit of knowledge. It felt like something Bobby would know and be happy to share with Noah.

The other random fact was that I did not intend to write a stealth crossover with the Owl House when I started this fic. But I'd been watching it and loving it and realized that the character I was designing for Bobby's grandmother and mentor figure was a whole lot like Eda Clawthorne. And when I realized I needed some additional characters to help unfuck Beacon Hills, the idea to include Luz and Amity was just too much to resist. So in this universe, the Clawthorne family is the Hawthorne family and is a long line of witches and emissaries, and Luz and Amity met at summer camp/school rather than through a dimensional portal incident.

Basically the ‘Grom’ Episode from The Owl House except it’s in the Welcome Back to The Casino AU Part I

“You’re telling me the underworld has a weird version of prom?”

“For the last time, Cuphead, the only reason we call the celebration that is because of the monster.”

“What monster?”

“Oh, the monster deep in the underworld.” Luci rolled her eyes and shook her head. “Think of the celebration as New Years but with a big blob monster.”

“That’s…” Queen Dice turned to her wife. “A very vague explanation.”

“Well, whatever the dance is about, maybe one of us could be your Grom Queen~” Cuphead smirked at the thought of the attention she’d get for getting crowned the queen of this dance.

“I’m sure you’d probably get kicked out for wearing an otter costume before you’d even be considered Grom Queen.” Mugma’am teased.

“Either way, neither of you two will be Grom Queen.” Dice said.

“WHAT? Whyyy!”

“It’s a big responsibility! I don’t want either of you getting hurt! Luci and I agreed after… ‘the incident’ that only demons or imps should be allowed to be Grom Queen.”

“You just gotta wear a stupid crown.”

“It’s not that simple, Cuphead. Look, I’m the announcer for the show every year,” Queen Dice ruffled Cuphead’s hair as she passed. “You can take over for me this year if you want to take a part in it. Now, I have to go wake up Everette, they’re probably awake by now anyways.”

Dice left the other three in the kitchen, the Devil being unusually quiet this morning. She stared down at the table with her golden eyes, drumming her sharp, black fingernails on the wood. The other hand covered half of her unsmiling mouth. Her mind clearly elsewhere, the girls wondered if she had caught any of the conversation leading up to this point.

“Mrs Devil?” Mugma’am received no answer. To this, she furrowed her eyebrows.

“Mrs. Devil?!”

“Hmm- What?” The demon finally looked up, her eyes racing back and fourth between gazing at the two of them.

“Are you alright?”

“Yeah. Yeah, I’m fine. Nothing’s wrong.”

“O…k…” Cuphead glanced at Mugma’am who just shrugged. “So… What did Dice mean by that Grom Queen is a ‘big responsibility’?”

“It’s… That’s not important.” Luci shook her head, finally standing up with her coffee. “It’s nothing you two need to worry about. Now, I have to go pull a name for this year’s Grom Queen.”

Cuphead stamped her foot once the Devil was out of earshot. She crossed her arms, Mugma’am rolling her eyes and shaking her head to her sister’s tantrum.

“What are they hiding from us?”

“For once in your life, Cuphead, could you please just respect their opinions and their right to have secrets?”

“Nope, not this time. I gotta figure out exactly what they’re hiding.” Cuphead smirked. “And I know just who to ask.”

“Cuphead!”

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Henchwoman had finished up the Boss’ dry-cleaning by hanging one of her many black dresses amongst her other outfits. Now, she had an even bigger beast to battle with. Queen Dice’s laundry was just as- If not more- Complex as the Devil’s was. So she always saved hers for last.

Though right now, she was busy giving the laundry to its rightful owners- Well, finishing up that. Closing the Boss’ bedroom door, she never expected to be met with company while doing chores.

“Hey Henchwoman!”

“Oh! Cuphead, you scared me!” She finished closing the door, and attempted to walk past them.

“Wait, can you tell me what’s up with the Grom Queen and why I can’t be it?” The girls caught up with her.

“Oh, Grom Queen, huh- I guess it is that time of year again- Well, we stopped letting mortals do it ever since… ‘The incident’…”

“What’s ‘the incident’?”

“You do not wanna know.” Henchwoman started walking away once more, hoping that’d be enough to convince the girls to leave. Though she should’ve known they were just as stubborn as they were upon their first meeting 6 years ago.

“What does the Grom Queen do then? It sounds like something dangerous. I’m all for danger! Danger might as well be my middle name!”

“Your middle name is Mocha.”

“That’s an expression, Mugma’am.” Cuphead said to her sister through gritted teeth.

“Man, I wish I knew exactly.” Henchwoman hid her eye roll, as she didn’t want to come off as rude to the girls. “I’ve never been nominated.”

“You gotta be nominated?”

“The Boss picks a name by random.”

“So we’ve gotta cheat the system!” Cuphead tapped her chin in thought.

“Cheat a system made by a cheater?” Mugma’am’s tone went deadpan. “Yeah, good luck with that.”

“I could if I tried.”

“Forget about it, Cuphead!” Mugsy shook her head. “By the way, Henchwoman, why haven’t you’ve been nominated?”

“I dunno, just never been chosen. I guess I’m just lucky!” She chuckled, thinking otherwise.

They rounded a corner, the girls asking her question after question like impatient toddlers. However, when rounding that corner, Henchwoman ran into another demon. The impact made the papers the other demon had go flying everywhere- Including a small, folded pink paper.

“Watch it, Nitwit!” Stickler snarled before realizing who it was. “Oh, hello, Henchwoman… And Co.” She began picking up the papers that had gone flying- Quickly looking for a certain one in particular.

“Here, I’ll help you.” Henchwoman picked up a few papers, plus the pink one. “And here’s your note.”

Stickler’s eyes widened before she snatched it away, hiding it in the rest of the papers.

“Yeesh, you got quick grabbers.” Henchwoman giggled, the girls glaring at Stickler suspiciously.

“Sorry, it’s just… Private.” Stickler adjusted her glasses, a shade of pink dusting her face.

“Oh- Ohhh!” Cuphead smiled, Mugma’am elbowing her in the gut. “OUCH!”

“So… Uhm… Stickler, what do you know about Grom?” Mugma’am inquired through the awkwardness between the two.

“I know that the nomination will be announced here soon.”

“You don’t know about something? Hah! That’s the first-OW! Quit hitting me, Mugma’am!”

“Oh I know more than that.” Stickler put on a prideful smirk. “I know that once you’re nominated, you’re the one that has to fight Grom… That being the demon that resides under the Casino.”

“A demon…?”

“Under the Casino…?”

“Yes.” Stickler’s smile faded. “It’s so vicious, in fact that it scares the Devil- Which is precisely why she nominates someone to- “

Just then, another imp came scurrying along, holding a rolled up piece of parchment. Stickler raised an eyebrow at him as his commotion had interrupted her explanation. Obviously running for some time, he skidded to a halt near the four of them, gasping for air.

“I come with news from the Boss!” He announced, still catching his breath.

“Alright.”

“On behalf of Lucifer and all of Hell,” The imp unrolled the scroll. “The Queen of Hell would like to kindly bestow upon this year’s nominee for Grom Queen/King. This is just a reminder that this is a required assignment and skipping or calling in sick to this even without proper permission will be most definitely heinous and unacceptable. Furthermore, discussion of this nomination may be disclosed with the Devil herself.” He carefully read the scroll with a shaking voice, as if the Devil was looking over his shoulder and a single mistake would result in him being pulverized. “So now, without further ado, this year’s Grom Queen will be… Miss Stickler!” The imp looked up at the group, offering a strained smile.

“Woo-Hoo! Sticks! Get it Queen!” Mugma’am cheered through the silence, raising her hand for a high-five though Stickler looked in her direction, she left Mugma’am hanging.

The Imp slowly rolled the parchment back up, clearing his throat. After putting it in Stickler’s free hand he scurried off again. Hugging her papers she books closer, turning on her heel and down the corridor.

“Grom Queen?” Stickler asked the open hallway, as if she hadn’t heard the imp correctly. “Oh my Satan… I’m Grom Queen.”

She began walking off without a simple goodbye, the most shaken any of them had ever seen her.

“Sticks?” Mugma’am asked as she still hadn’t put her hand down. “Don’t leave me hanging. Was it something I said?” She turned to her sister.

“She probably needs some space, girls. Grom Queen is a bigger job than you think it is.” Henchwoman continued on her way to finish up chores.

“So if she’s Grom Queen…” Cuphead thought out loud. “That means I can break all the rules I want, cuz she’ll be too busy to nag at me!”

“Seriously?” Mugma’am glared. “That’s your first thought?”

Riddle drinks Iced Coffee. Likes it a certain way and will tell the cashier if it isn't to his standards so he makes it at home.

Trey dosen't really drink coffee since it can ruin your teeth also it dosen't do anything to him.

Cater dosen't like sweet things so probably iced tea? He likes how it tastes surprisingly.

Ace will take the refresher since he's not allowed the coffee. He likes the pink drink with the strawberries (my fav)

Deuce wanted to try mocha and loved it! He always gets it.

Leona dosen't get anything since he's picky.

🍽️ Tito Chef's Gourmet House 📍 692 Dr. Zavalla St., Brgy. Kanluran, 4026, Santa Rosa, Laguna

Here’s yet another budding eatery around the lively city of Santa Rosa. While its rustic motif seems fragmentary from the get-go, you’ll eventually find yourself wanting to go back because of their immaculate meals.

This café’s just a one-minute walk from our place, and I’m thankful that restos such as Tito Chef is within reach. I don’t need to go to SM Sta. Rosa or any similar restos offering palatable dishes.

Pros:

✔️ FRIENDLY, FRIENDLY STAFF. Once you enter the gourmet house, you’ll be greeted with polite staff. Commendable customer service indeed. ✔️ Food’s relatively cheap. For as low as 129 PHP, you may buy a flavorful bowl meal with tasty toppings.

Cons: ❌ No WiFi. Listed this as a con as the vibe here is ideal for working remotely. ❌ Their coffee selections aren’t the best. In fact, they offer the worst coffee drinks around the area. The flavor of ice overpowers the taste of their iced coffees, making them less delicious. I also remember sending a complaint upon seeing floating dead ants on my french vanilla mocha; however I was awed by their swift response and told me that my next coffee drink purchase’s on them.

Must-trys:

✅ Salt & Pepper Chicken with Fried Rice ✅ Overload Fries ✅ Crispy Chicken Fillet with Stir Fry Fried Rice (this is my go-to meal!) ✅ Beefsteak Sandwich ✅ Honey Garlic Chicken Sandwich

Send me ⭐️ + a name, and I’ll write a drabble between that person and my muse!

Bret had wanted cake but she had wanted cookies. Logan had wanted cookies and little Brianna had wanted cake. And so Niccola was tasked to come up with a compromise that would satisfy everyone’s craving while not giving the matriarch, herself, too much work during the busiest baking season of the year.

Truly, had it had been any other time of year, she would have pulled out all the baking dishes and supplies needed to bake a cake and a few batches of cookies but she was already making several pies, batches of cookies, and cakes that weren’t for her family to consume. And as much as she loved appeasing her own family, she also knew she was limited in energy to spend in that moment even with help.

So while she worked through her baking chore list, preparing treats that would be given out as gifts to other homes, the Irishwoman thought over the recipe in her head. A tweak here, an addition there, an adjustment in size here, and then some added time there...it might work? It should work!

What was to come out of the experiment would become one of the Hitman’s absolute favorite holiday treats. It ate like a cookie though had a texture similar to a cake with fluffy frosting to match. He craved it so much that several times during the year he would beg and plead for her to make him a batch to enjoy though she swore she would only make them during the holidays.

“I have to give the kids something to look forward to. You as well! If you know it will only come during the holidays, it makes it that much more special when you have it,” she would explain, though that wouldn’t stop the sweets lover from continuing on his mission to seduce her into making him some.

...and she would never admit that he had worked her out so well in bed once, playfully begging for her to make him some of the treats, that she did finally cave in the respect that she just wouldn’t make the snickerdoodle flavor except on the holidays. And so the mocha expresso and chai flavored varieties were created several weeks later. After all, a lady does have to keep some integrity.
