Often when there’s a million things to do, and we can’t find the words to say no to other things coming in we get to a point where our head our body our complete soul just can’t take it anymore. Sometimes it’s one thing that feels just too heavy. Sometimes it’s all those little things. Yesterday at #beeinspired @thequeenbeedani reminded us with her own story of breaking point how important it is to pause before we decide to stop. Take a pause for a moment. The world will still be there when you are ready to get back on. Switch off the phone Work out what’s important. What you can unload, what you can let go of. Work out the things that light your fire get you passionate. Don’t stop everything for the sake of a pause. Take the time to find out what’s important. Does this make sense? I’m heading out today. For 3 nights. I’m off to an event. Bee inspired. You may have heard me talk about it before. It’s an event that pushed me through my comfort zone a couple of years ago as I spoke in stage at it. Yep me. Shy, introvert, the one that either listen’s or blurts out randomly in the middle if conversations. (I swear I’ve got ADHD) I spoke on a stage in front of people. The event, it’s host @thequeenbeedani and the woman pictured (@creativsas )with me have developed my confidence no end. Today as I head off leaving the kids behind with my mum I know I’m heading to that event for the right reasons. The mum guilt may pop up. But she will be battered back down with the knowledge that the reason I’m going is to make me a better version of myself and to help my business develop too. When mum guilt pops up. Question her. Give her a name mine is Maureen Tell her and yourself why you are taking the time out, why you are dropping the kids at breakfast club. Why you chose to put them in nursery. Why you are doing what ever it is that is making her nag at you. If you can’t think of a reason (I’m sure you will) then maybe what you are doing is not really the right thing after all.
