So this isn't for a pairing I ever, EVER, thought I would ship, but it was late last night (like 3am, hence my being off my head today) and I fell down some AO3 hole, and jesus this is so well written and amazing. YOU SHOULD READ IT.

I've almost posted more fic in the past few months than I posted in the entire time I was in a previous fandom, which was over the course of 5 years or something. It makes me feel a little insane.

These first 7 are loosely arranged in a series but they can be read in any order/independently.

dare to try this love on for size - SandRay first time hook up fic. Written before episode 2 murdered me. Also my first time publishing an actual explicit sex scene, I think. So that definitely didn't have me hyperventilating in a corner or anything.

on my knees i think clearer - this is a very on-the-nose title. Nobody's making good choices here.

most of what i remember - a follow-up to on my knees... wherein Ray's throwing himself a bit of a pity party, the darling.

how darling you've left your mark - idk apparently I went from never posting sex to posting plotless sex

for the days when i don't believe - canon divergent in the most. Ray wakes up in hospital after a drunken episode.

Anakin stays silent for a second, a little baffled at the whole scene, before he notices Mace about to leave and kicks on his feet. “I—sir, I know you said not to protest but—” “But you’re about to protest?” Mace doesn’t even look at him from his notes.  Anakin swallows the need to glare. “Are you sure this is wise?” Windu blinks at him, not following. “I— I have anger issues,” he says, getting closer to him so they don’t hear him while they bicker about where to start on the map Mace just provided for them.  “I know. I read your file,” Mace informs him, with no real emotion in his tone.  Alright, that does make him scowl a little. “Ok. So, you pair me up with the most frustrating people at the center?” Anakin asks him. “We’ve been here for an hour and half and they make me feel like I wanna punch a wall. I even tried to be friendly but I feel like they're more interested in pissing each other off than seeing this service through.”  “Listen, Skywalker. I promise you, this isn’t a personal campaign against you. By no means am I trying to put you in a dangerous spot— the matter of the fact is… You came in last. I have no other people to put you with,” Mace explains, his face is stoic and serious but something in Anakin tells him he’s being honest. He looks over Anakin’s shoulder. “Kenobi is one of the best guys I got this trimester. He’s quiet, polite, minds his business. I’m sure you will have no problems with him. As for Miss Naberrie, she’s only been having a hard time understanding she’s expected to commit to her assignments, and come in on time. But other than that, she’s also a fairly well-balanced young lady,” he says. He widens his eyes as he adds, “I have no idea why they get on each other’s nerves but I also don’t get paid to care. So long as you don’t get between their crossfire, you should be fine. Just do what I do, and ignore them.”

2. a headcanon you weren't sure about at first but have come to like!

hmmmmm, this isn't exactly a headcanon per say but the best thing i can think of is that, for persona 5 fic, i used to really not like ren amamiya as a choice of name for the protag, but thanks to a lot of amazing writers in the fandom who use it i've come around to it a lot and like it and akira kurusu almost equally now!

8. you hope more people will come to appreciate _ (a ship, a trope, an episode, etc)

going back to sk8 for this once since it's my main fandom right now, i really hope people come to appreciate the writing of the original story and the cast more outside of just the couple biggest ships/nuclear found family tropes! it's such a beautifully written and paced show with genuinely really deep themes and a heartfelt message, and a cast with incredible chemistry and parallels between everyone that makes for one of my favorite mixed-age friend groups i've seen. i'd love to see some more gen and whole-cast appreciation since it's a part of the series i find so beautiful!

24. how has fandom positively impacted your life?

no but for real, it's given me motivation, purpose and joy through some incredibly dark times in my life, it's let me meet all of my most incredible friends and connected with people all over the world, it's inspired me to study japanese and encouraged me to learn how to do things i never would have thought i would be capable of, i made a whole ass visual novel as a fan project!!!! it's something that has given me so much happiness and gotten me through a lot and i'm so grateful for the experiences i've been able to have through fandom and the people i've met in it

I may not ship Lawrusso, but I will say that those who do ship them can come up with some amazing AU stories for them. In some stories, I am so intrigued by the plot, characterization, and angst that I can find myself rooting for them. And Lawrusso fans can draw some beautiful fanart.

I honestly hope more people, in all fandoms, will come to appreciate original characters. It's not easy to create full-fledged characters and find where they could fit in the story. And the OC creators put pieces of their heart and soul into their creations just as much as any writer or artist.

For The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai, I'll say Jimmy and Aisha. For Doctor Who, I will say Martha Jones, Donna Noble, Jo Grant, Sarah Jane Smith, Peri Brown, the Brigadier, and Captain Mike Yates. I'm sorry, but I can't just contain myself to only one character.

Lol I’m a multipshipper I’m open to all. But I guess one ship I don’t view romantically would be Eddie/ruby and what I’ll say is they are amazing people who are very close: have a lot of love and respect for each other. It’s very easy to see why they would be shipped.

3. What piece of media inspired you the most? in general, Young Royals since a lot of what i've written has been for it asfjlsjaf but also because i've been so interested in all of the canon-divergence possibilities with it, which has given me no shortage of inspiration for different stories!!

another thing though was The Politician! i didn't go anywhere with the idea, but my sister and i were bouncing one around for a while :] but idk, i still feel like it inspired me to some point as well

19. What's something that surprised you while you were working on a fic? Did it change the story? how much i enjoyed writing Andrew in (wit)jitp, was one thing! specifically playing around with his mental state and how his thoughts work!! and it did actually end up changing the story quite a bit -- originally, Andrew was supposed to be on his medications as in canon. but at some point, i kinda started thinking about how Andrew would have been if he had never been on his meds, and i came to the thought that i don't think his personality was really changed all that much, and he still would have had the same humor just much more toned down. so some of his thoughts (my favorite being the internal monologue about costco) are reminiscent of him on meds but i changed the story so that he actually isn't.

8. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on? A Magical Tale of Fire and Wonder. It's my comfort fic, my self-made and self-indulgent home <3 14. What was the hardest fic to title? Idk why but it was so damn difficult to title Like A Bullet. After weeks of trying to come up with something, it ultimately came down to a vote between two titles in which @illbebuyingallofthoseflowers and @dandelionmeadow helped me pick that one

Ok, I answered this one already, but it was from an unpublished fic, so here’s a published one (From chapter 1 of my KPB fic sequel… I have a soft spot it seems)

Big didn’t expect to be in this position upon waking. He had woken up when Kinn had slipped out for his morning meetings, and stopped to give each of his boyfriends a small kiss on the cheek or forehead – whichever was more exposed and available for kisses. And as Porsche burrowed in closer to Big – like a cat seeking a warm spot in winter – Big had reached out for Kinn to give him some form of physical touch before he left.
