rip to hiiragi in the moon-splitting festival arc though. first she paints a protection charm on natsume's arm, standard stuff, but even though right before this he was in a huge hurry to get back to everyone else to make sure they're safe, he's like okay now let's do you. and takes the brush and paints the same charm on her arm. uhhhh. okay. this is fine. okay. then minutes later he throws himself in front of her to protect her from a ton of falling logs with his fragile human body. like not only is he actively making it harder for her to do her job, which is to protect him, by doing stupid heroic shit that puts him in danger, but he's doing said heroic shit to protect HER? like he thinks she's a PERSON??? the fuck is she supposed to do with this shit!

My suspicion about Madison & Mariah only comes from the way they make private things public. Mariah made those comments on live about Rudy and how she didn’t like him. The whole unfollowing thing started with Madison and Mariah too. Whatever problems they have can be addressed privately, or at least not in a way that draws attention from fans.

It makes me sad too that fans overanalyse Rudy in interviews and what not. I’ve linked a livestream where he talks about panic attacks and anxiety - being under such attention and scrutiny will only heighten that. Knowing fans are watching every micro movement he makes won’t make him more comfortable. It’s sad.

Plus, this narrative that he’s excluded from the rest of the cast is odd? Elaine and Madelyn are very close, and they’re both close with Odessa too. Drew, Rudy, Elaine, and Madelyn are frequently hanging out together. They all follow Drew’s private account while Madison doesn’t, but somehow fans are saying they’re not friends? He’s clearly still close with Chase too.

Re: Elaine, I think she has clearly made efforts to listen, learn and work towards forgiveness. She’s been friends with Madison since stuff about her past behaviour came out. We obviously can’t know for certain but it appears as though this tension doesn’t stem from that history.

Just wish people would let them breathe and figure it out when they’re ready.

this has been a difficult, awful week only for it to end friday at 3pm with an invitation to interview for a management position next week.
