For what it was worth, Giyuu was professional. He didn’t tell Kyojuro how he increased his heart rate when he was around. He didn’t admit to listening to him and his boyfriend having sex. He didn’t confess that he was caught by their best friend.

He thought he acted perfectly normal for someone in his situation.

“What did you do?” Shinobu asked as he ate his lunch. It is Monday now.

“What do you mean?” Giyuu asked, obviously avoiding the subject of the question. She picked up on that quickly.

“Hm, I don’t know. Maybe the fact is that you completely ignored Rengoku-san on Friday. He looked so sad when you weren’t paying attention, you know?” Shinobu pointed out. Thankfully, Shinobu convinced Senjuro to eat lunch with Tanjiro so he didn’t have to hear this conversation. She put her hand on her chin, “So, what did you do? Did you ask him out and he rejected you because you’re not in touch with your emotions?”

Even though it wasn’t true, Giyuu’s feelings were hurt. Shinobu had to be exaggerating about how sad he was. There was no way he was sad. “Shinobu-chan, I’m not into men,” he lied.

Shinobu raised an eyebrow, “Sure, and English is the easiest language to learn.”

I think we should just bring back Wungo Wednesday and start a fandom collective anime rewatch

#Because otherwise I can feel I won't last much longer #Because like. The last two hyperfixations of mine ended the moment I started feeling like there wasn't any new content #And two days ago in one day I started a new manga a new book and rewatching a favourite show #Whereas I hadn't started anything new in the two years ever since I got into bsd. Which makes it NOT a good sign #But the bsd anime has now ended for one month and 25 days and that's the last time the plot actually moved forward. #And if I counted right. The manga took 4 chapters (that is chapters 110-111) to adapt 6 minutes #That means it's going to take another 12 months (18 minutes left to adapt. that's 12 more chapters) to catch up with the anime #Yeah I'm not. sticking around this long with nothing new to see I'm sorry #Best case scenario I take a one year hiatus but that doesn't make it sound likely that I'll be back #And I know it's fresh news as early as this morning that author said they were introducing a new character but like. #They also said they finished writing this arc like. One year and half ago if I remember correctly? #And we still have yet to see the end of i t so... #That is to say. I'll probably be starting an anime rewatch starting next Wednesday. didn’t give much context before but we’re going with that the egg was abandoned in winter horns and recovered by a group of waddle explorers

there wasn’t a lot of (known) writing on dedede’s species so figuring out what to do from there was kinda hard and they didn’t really know anything for certain, but between a little research, a gut feeling, and dedede and mk already used to Parenting, they passed the egg onto them to look after and well. yeah

it was definitely a rollercoaster for dedede, to be given hope that there were others like him after all - so it was only natural he’d take it very seriously. he spends a lot of time with them and they’re very clingy because of it. he says they’re like a duckling

being so big also comes with problems because as clingy as they are, they outgrew being able to be held by other people pretty fast lol

WIP Wednesday (4/10) | Vampire Andrew AU (Part 106)

“Should I chase you around first next time?” Andrew asks. He’s clearly making a joke, but Kevin’s mind blue-screens at the thought. Because Andrew is fast. Faster than anyone or anything Kevin’s ever seen.

Of course, he’s only witnessed Andrew’s top speed a couple times, during night practices. Oh... What if Andrew were to chase him around next time? He only gets to imagine that scenario for a few seconds before Andrew is shaking his head.

“Of course you would have me chasing you around the court.” He sighs, seeming disappointed but not surprised.

“Where the fuck else would we be running?” Kevin snaps, not expecting an answer. He gets one though.

“In the woods. At night. It’s cloudy and the moon isn’t out. It’s so dark you can barely see where you’re going,” Andrew says immediately, like he’s thought about it before. And Kevin is entranced by that notion. “But I can see you, clear as day.”

“Your night vision is that good?”

“Yes.” Andrew answers, then he blinks. “Even if it wasn’t, I would be able to hear your heartbeat. It would be erratic, panicked. Like now, but… More.”

“I wouldn’t stand a chance,” Kevin whispers. And god, why is this turning him on? Is Andrew doing this on purpose? Kevin looks to him for an answer, but he doesn’t get one. Instead, Andrew pulls Kevin’s arm to his mouth and licks his lips.

Tagging anyone who wants to share (please do tag me I'm so behind in reading and I'm back in the game.)

So I've been juggling a few WIPS, trying to get one to stick and I think the one that's going to get finished is the Red, White and Royal Blue AU (working title Red, White and Royally Screwed) that I threatened mentioned. I've written three chapters so far and probably want to get most of it written and edited before I start posting. So here's a lil snippet from Chapter 1:

"I think this wedding cost more than the house we grew up in," Cooper says, not particularly bothering to keep his voice down. "Look. Actual ice sculptures. I thought they only existed in media about people that are too rich and stupid to wipe their own asses."

"Exactly. You just summed up the royal family in a nutshell," Blaine says, beaming at a passing Duchess who blushes and stumbles a step at the force of it. 

"Have you seen the cake?" Cooper goes on. "That could feed a small country."

"It could feed a large one."

"I think it cost them like $60,000."

Blaine actually chokes. And he doesn't even have a drink. A fact he's desperate to rectify. 

"$75,000 actually," a smooth voice says behind them. And Blaine hates that he recognizes it immediately. The clipped, plummy tones of a man who probably drops $75,000 before breakfast on a normal day.

"Your majesty," Blaine says with a sharp jerk of his head as he turns. Beside him, Cooper offers up something closer to an actual bow. 

"It's your Royal Highness," Kurt says, with a stiff smile. "Really, Blaine. I thought a man in your political position would at least bother to learn the difference."

Blaine wants to ask who the hell cares but luckily Kurt has already turned his attention to Cooper, his smile appearing to relax into something more genuine. Or at least less like a grimace. It somehow transforms him from stuck up heir to actual Disney Prince in a blink of those obnoxiously blue eyes. What a dick.

I have a serious bone to pick with the show Wednesday. No sources for this because I refuse to get a netflix subscription and watch it again and also my memory is dogshit and I have brain fog from being sleep deprived traumatized and homeless but here's what I know.

In the first episode, Wednesday makes a eugenics joke. Says some kid who lost a nut shouldn't be allowed to have children. Wonderful.

The one black character I can remember is a stereotypical mean girl. Love that.

The two fat characters are Gomez and Pugsley. The show gets zero points for Not making those characters thin. The one brown character I can remember is Gomez. The show gets zero points for Not whitewashing in the year of our lord 2022 or whenever the fuck it was released.

There is exactly one character you could call crippled, an asthmatic boy that tries to kill Wednesday and then dies a horrible death. (I'm physically disabled don't come at me for reclamation)

Nevermore is completely inaccessible what with the dorms all being upstairs, so of course there's nobody that's dependent on wheels to get around. Still rude as fuck. Reeks of "bUt RaMpS wOuLd RuIn ThE aEsThEtIc" whining.

The closest we get to queer characters is Wenclair and it's queerbaiting at best. Again, it is 2022. The only reason they aren't doing it outright or giving us more to work with is because they are at best cowards.

i’ve been trying to get through hoh for literally like a week now but it’s so hard bc the way my fave nico is treated is absolutely ABYSMAL and i know it only gets worse

While I didn’t have time to make them before Mid-Autumn festival, I made mooncakes for the first time this weekend and they’re so damn pretty I could literally just sit and stare at them.

#they bring me immense joy #now hopefully they also taste good😅 won’t know until Wednesday since they need to sit for two days #I’ll try to take pictures when they’re ready for munching #the won’t be the normal golden brown color since I did some substitutions #but they’re still very pretty #little nervous for how my baking of them went though #I kinda fucked up the wrapper I think??
