Timeline concepts for Genome (OC) at the hellfire gala this year
Route 1: Genome, using his precognitive abilities, is able to anticipate the attack of nimrod and orchis. He warns the quiet council of the coming catastrophe and they allow him to prepare accordingly. Nimrod is caught before he can reach krakoa and is easily dismantled. Orchis and Moira are destroyed with him.
Route 2: Genome somehow isn't able to prevent the deaths of the newly voted x-men team, but is able to stop nimrod and take down orchis without everyone being sent into the gates. The x-men are revived, but are unsure if they want to be on the team.
Route 3: Events proceed as they happen in canon, and everyone is lost to the gates. Genome is now stuck trying to find not only the quarter million mutants who just vanished, but also the few remaining mutants on earth. He is simultaneously having to deal with the sudden overwhelming grief and realization that everyone he knows may be dead and it may be forever.
Route 4: Genome follows the inhabitants of the island into the gates, only to wind up in what looks like a vast desert. With exodus, hope, and destiny, Genome has to find a way to get back to earth from wherever they are and also keep the island's population safe on the way.
Route 5: Orchis is dealt with and all of the krakoan inhabitants are returned to the island but due to the traumatic experience, many people have lost faith in the mutant paradise. As Charles is currently unfit to lead the country, Genome steps in as its de facto leader, in hopes of restoring the belief in krakoa and rebuilding what has been lost.

In the office...
Genome: So, lemme get this straight - you've got Ms. Frost teaching ethics and...Marie teaching linguistics?
Scott: Uh, is that a problem?
Genome: I mean, if cruella deville teaching ethics and sandy cheeks teaching linguistics doesn't seem like a problem to you, I'm not sure what to say.
Scott: ...
Genome: There is one positive here.
Scott: And that is?
Genome: At least it's not Remy.

Little Starlight (story) update from out of the blue:
The Ethereal Genome is no longer a retracted concept and will be used in the story! 🌟
🤔 Meaning at some point in time, I'll try to find the time and desire to sit down and write a little something about her and more on Terra/Garland's history and familiarity with Ethereals.
And also tidy up this concept I got started for her some time back. 🎨

ones within fans really quick do you think a division made of streamers that only streamed "shitty" and "low quality" games (intentionally because they think games like that are funny) would make a viable team. i think they would put up a good fight if they existed but would be wiped out pretty fast

Training arc...
Genome: Hey, you should train with me sometime.
Hope: I would, but I'm busy. Y'know, with resurrecting people.
Genome: I mean, I'm not saying right now at this moment. Just every once in a while.
Hope: Why not get Everett or Calvin, why me?
Genome: Well, first off, you're easily accessible. Second, I can't find Everett or Calvin and even if I could, beating on them is no fun.
Hope: Oh, so you wanna beat me up? You enjoy beating up women?
Genome: Let's not do that. Furthermore, you need enrichment.
Hope: Enrichment? What am I, a fucking hamster? I have a job!
Genome: So?
Hope: So, I think I'm plenty enriched, thank you.
Genome: Yeah, because standing in a circle holding hands and singing kumbaya over a corpse is lucrative and fulfilling employment.
Hope: Can you leave? Please? We're working.
Genome: Not until you give me an answer. Look, all I'm saying is that you could probably use a break. I'm sure all of you could. And you act like resurrecting people is hard. I've done it by myself a few times.
Hope: Oh yeah? So why don't you come help us?
Genome: Well duh, because it's your job.
