Calling bipolar friends and others who take antipsychotics

So I'm on Zyprexa/Olanzapine, and, as is common, I gained some weight - about 30 pounds. I've worked this year to lose what I can of that, and have actually successfully lost 23 pounds! (It would probably be a little more, but Chocolate Season comes for us all.)

But the strange thing is that it seemed like as I've lost weight, my meds aren't as effective. This last month in particular I have been alllll over the place with my moods. I don't know that I can really call any of them episodes since they usually only last a few days, followed by brief stability, followed by either a crash or a new bout of hypomania. I had a bit of a breakdown talking about this in therapy today, which is the first time I've cried in the whole process.

It's entirely likely this is coincidental to my weight loss. If anything it might be the reverse and that now that my weight has stagnated due to the aforementioned Chocolate Season, it's been hitting me hard. But it just seems odd that they have been steadily working less and less. And yes, I have been very diligent in taking them every time.

tl;dr does anyone know if the weight/zyprexa connection somehow works the other way? What could be causing this increase in symptoms?

I dont know what's wrong with me lately.

I was on prozac (15mg????) for awhile because of severe anxiety to the point of fainting, I can't tell you when because time isn't a thing anymore to me, it made me suicidal and the anxiety was unbearble, i couldnt go to classes anymore so i went to online courses. they then took me off it and put me on zoloft (25mg half)it made me unable to sleep and jittery and I wouldn't talk to anyone, I felt unreal on both these meds. I recently got a psycological doctor or whatever and he asked me like 3 questions and gave me olanzipine (5mg half) It's my second day taking it. my mom told me it was prescribed for anxietyand insomnia and wouldn't let me read the pamphlet thingy even tho I have real bad anxiety about that, I googled what it is and it said it was for schizophrenia???? but I have no context or anyone telling me anything of why or how I am?? I asked asked my brother and he said it was prescribed for schizophrenia and mania??? and that my mom didn't tell me to not freak me out?? but now I have no idea what's going on, I'm scared of gaining weight on these meds and I don't want the dopamine and imagination to go away I would hate that so much, I feel so off all the time, the people move slow the time moves fast. is this a side effect of the meds or is this anxiety?? schizophrenia?? I have no idea what's going on? I'll awnser any questions as needed. sorry i didn't give too much detail since I'm having trouble remembering things.
